Note
I'd strip you of all your clothes and tie your arms to you bed frame, completely spread so you can't move your hands down to cover your face from embarrassment. I'll wrap my belt around your neck just tight enough so you can't get comfortable, but not tight enough to completely block your breathing.
I'll finger fuck your already dripping cunt until you get right on the edge of cumming, and I'll hold you there for as long as you can manage, slapping your tits between poundings. Once you've cum once, I'll speed up and bring on the next quicker, and another after that, and another....
Totally overstimulated after cumming so many times in a row with no break, your red and abused pussy will be so sensitive to the touch, that a breeze sends a shock up your spine. Your legs will be so weak and tired that you won't be able to force them closed when I slide in between them. I'll drag the tip of my cock along your lips and slowly push in. I'll stroke my cock back and forth so painfully slow on your aching cunt, that you'll be both begging me to pull out and also trying to drag me further in.
I'll hold you numb legs up and press my weight down on you, fucking you deeper and harder. When I cum inside you, I'll slowly drag myself out, letting my cock go flaccid and slide out the rest of the way on its own. Your poor, abused cunt will be so achingly sore, you won't even have the strength to force my load out of you or hold it in. It'll just dribble out and onto the bed below you, where it'll get mixed with all of your juices spilled over the last few hours.
After untying your arms, I'll push some of my cum back into you, and have you suck my fingers clean, before drying you off with a towel and moving you from the bed so I can put on fresh sheets. After I've thoroughly fucked a baby into you, we'll cuddle up and try to watch a movie or show without falling asleep too quickly. You've been such a good girl for me baby, you deserve to rest comfortably....until we go again tomorrow night. We'll do this every night until your knocked up or mentally broken.
This is exactly what I need omg please 🥺 I get so embarrassed too so having my arms restrained would be torture!! Please I need to be used every night until I'm knocked up and then cuddled and taken care of plsplspls. Good girls get knocked up<3

Thoughts about random Hypmic characters help you fall asleep
GN reader, anxiety, cuddling, mention of kisses
Rio, Dice, Doppo, Kuko, Sasara
Rio
-He's a light sleeper, due to his soldier's past
-While you being restless and spin around in bed, trying to find a comfortable position, he wouldn't wake up
-But as soon as you quietly call his name he immediately open his eyes, already know something off
-When you tell him you can't sleep, he would slowly get up, and bring you a drink, something like compote
-"Here, try a little. It's made from herbs, it will soothe you.." - he smiles softly, patting you head - "I gather them myself.."
-He isn't good with words but he ready to listen about your problems if you can't sleep because you feel anxious
-If you just can't relax he would simply hug you, trying to calm down with his warm body and strong arms
-Even if he really tired or sleepy he will not fall asleep until you will be finally comforted enough
-Only when he is sure that you actually asleep, he will also slowly drifts off to sleep
Dice
-Immediately will notice that something wrong, asking why you keep tossing and turning
-Yes he's a goofy boy, but if you have some weight on your chest he will listen quietly, and give you some actually kind and deep words
-He's really worried and if you can't sleep because you're worried about some problems he will definitely will offer his help, any help..! (except financial one, hehe...)
-If you just can't relax he will hug you tightly, offering you to listen about some of his stories
-(definitely have bunch of stories about him getting in troubles in casino, will choose a goofy one to make you smile)
-"Don't worry to much, okay?" - he place a kiss in your forehead and giggles - "You're with me now"
Doppo
-Also will notice it quickly. He just lay in bed with you, ready to finally relax after long day, but he can't while you keep sighing and turning around
-He's so sorry about yours sleep problems, is it because he's near you??? Did he hug you too tight??? He's so so sorry--
-He's also have some problems with falling asleep so he know how you feel, worried
-"Y.. you can't sleep..?" - he asked with quite tired but worried voice - "It's okay, you can tell me if something wrong.."
-He used to feel anxiety and don't do much about it, but when you tells him you also have anxiety??
-You need to see a psychologist, and also maybe start using sleeping pills..! He can consult with Jakurai sensei...! And also-
-If you just can't sleep, he will sigh, offering you to watch some ASMR together
-(he probably found about something like this when searching how he can help himself and now have a whole list of favorite ASMRtist)
Kuko
-Not really a light sleeper but will notice that
-Will be little bit grumpy, sighing tiredly and just grab you closer to him, hugging tightly
-"... did something happened..?" - he suddenly asked gentle and quietly right into your ear, caressing your hair - "I'm worried now, you know..."
-As a future monk, he know how to make people feel better and he actually can say something soothing and deep if you need an advice
-Will set aside his bratty side and be more softer now, doesn't matter if you anxiety or just not sleepy, he's actually worried
-Will hum to you something peaceful, but not singing a whole lullaby, man too ashamed of something like that
-Also will not fall asleep until you fall asleep, it's doesn't matter how long it takes - he has a surprisingly long patience when he's with you
Sasara
-For some reason I feel like he can fall asleep really quickly and its hard to rouse him
-But he's more sensitive around you so he will slowly wake up, feeling as you're tossing and turning around his bed
-As soon as you tells him you can't sleep he's immediately wake up, hugging you and asking what's wrong
-Can be a good listener and adviser if you feel anxiety and need a serious talk, or a funny clown if you just need some comfort
-Definitely will come up with few puns about sleeping, makes you snort and roll you eyes while you try not to giggle too much
-"Hey, hey, come closer.." - he whisper while embrace you tightly - "Only today, a great comic Sasara Nurude will present a nigh show, just for you.. ticket price is three kisses, hehe..."

A/N: Welp, this was long overdue. I can't believe I haven't updated since November last year. I love this story and I have a couple of chapters written but I need to get through this middle part to get to them and I've been struggling 😅 I've also found it hard to find the time to write due to personal circumstances but I'm on break for a month and hopefully the creative juices start running.

Two mornings had come and gone before Friday rolled around and it was time to go back to work. I awoke to the smell of breakfast cooking. I couldn’t decipher whether I was still asleep or Hotch had woken up to cook. Considering the latter, I took my time getting dressed and ready before heading downstairs. I was already heading into work later than usual, wanting to at least have one last breakfast with the Hotchner boys.
“Morning, Hotch,” I announced my presence to the back-turned agent. “Having fun there?”
“Hey, good morning,” he laughed. “Figured I could make your morning easier today.”
“Sounds good. What’s on the menu?”
“French toast and fruits?”
“Coffee too?”
“Always,” he chuckled. Hotch placed a plate in front of my seat and one next to it for himself as I served two mugs of coffee. “Jack’s gonna be mad I didn’t wake him up to eat with us. That boy really loves you.”
“I mean, I am quite lovable.” My mind quickly registered the scene that unfolded before me. Whoever looked through my window would think we were a couple with years on our backs, a steady routine implemented into our daily lives. I knew there wasn’t a person that saw us that wouldn’t believe we weren’t a family — that between us only friendship was capable of brewing. “But it’s better if he sleeps in. Yesterday was a lot. He must be pretty tired.”
“Yeah. He was out like a light since I put him down.”
“How did you sleep?”
“Good enough,” he sighed. He rubbed the sleep from his eyes and sat next to me, sipping on the piping hot coffee in his hand. “Still feel guilty that I’m not as sad as I should be for someone that lost his wife a year ago.”
“Hotch, there are no rules to grief. There is no way to measure how much or how little you should feel.” I put a comforting hand on his forearm, rubbing circles on it with my thumb. “Don’t punish yourself for not behaving in the way you think you should — no one is judging.”
“We do, (Y/N). We judge people who don’t grieve normally.”
“I don’t know about you, but I normally don’t keep tabs on a killer’s grieving process a year after.”
“No, I guess not,” he laughed dryly. “I guess I’m just being hard on myself.”
“The best thing you can do is be there for Jack and feel whatever you feel when it comes.” We shared a smile between us. A quiet stare into each other’s eyes. Moments like these were the ones I fooled myself into thinking there was a glimmer of love behind his eyes — that maybe, just maybe, he shared the sentiment.
But it never lasted long enough. My phone buzzed inside my pocket, bringing my attention to the fact that I was late for work. The screen flashed Derek’s name, and I knew I was in for an earful.
“Hey, Der. I know I’m late. I’m on my way to the office now. I’m…”
“I need you to meet me somewhere else,” he interrupted. “It’s Sanderson.”
“What happened?”
“He killed someone.”
“Send me the address, I’ll see you there,” I hung up. “I-I’ve gotta go.”
“Is everything okay?”
“Don Sanderson, the man Derek advocated for to be released, just killed someone. I’ve gotta go meet him there.”  I rambled as I gathered my things, my head spinning from the news I had just received.
“You’re feeling guilty.” The sentence sounded like it was meant to be a question, but it came out as an observation. “You shouldn’t, and neither should Morgan. You both made an informed decision based on the facts you had at hand.”
Would you have vouched for him?”
“(Y/N)…”
“Exactly.” I grabbed my things and headed out the door, speeding to the location Derek sent.
The house was riddled with police. The haunting yellow tape separating the living from the dead. I got there at the same time the team and Morgan were exiting their van, their sights set on a handcuffed Sanderson being taken into a police car. Reid, Prentiss, and Seaver entered the crime scene as I made a beeline for Derek.
“Hey, do we know what happened?”
“They think he did this to go back to jail,” he sighed.
“He didn’t?”
“Claims it was self-defense.” Derek crossed his arms and leaned on the hood of a car. His eyebrows furrowed and his eyes trained on the car that Don was in. “I mean, he called the paramedics. Even performed CPR on the guy. He’s looking for something.”
“Alright, then. Call Strauss,” I recommended. “Let’s get this case and find out what he really wants.”
Words of encouragement wouldn’t work at this moment. The sooner we could get answers, the quicker Derek could determine is his decision had been the right one. Anyone that looked at the angered mask he wore could understand the guilt he was carrying. The ‘what if’s plaguing his mind had to grab hold of his deepest insecurities. I knew because that is how I was feeling, and I had merely lent an understanding ear and endorsed that he’d be let out.
A call of a few seconds and Don was released to our custody. I decided to stay with my father and Derek, giving the keys to my own car to Reid before leaving the scene.
“You woke up a free man and decided to kill Tom Whittman,” my father spoke. “You gotta help us out here. It doesn’t look good for you.”
“It wasn’t supposed to be like that,” Don defended. As he spoke, I studied his face. It was clear there was no deception. The man had been free for fifty-one hours and rushed to find Wittman – why? “He came at me.”
“I get it that you don’t trust anyone right now. But this man is the reason you’re free.”
Derek stopped the car abruptly, turning to face Sanderson. “Did you find your son?”
“No.”
“Did you even look?” Derek seethed as Don remained quiet. The one thing Sanderson had claimed he wanted more than anything was to reconnect with his son. If he hadn’t done it yet – instead went to find this man – the reason to see Whittman had to be with his case.
“Der,” I called his attention. “Drive.”
Driving back to the office, the air was choking. The anger and disappointment filled the car with pressure, and I was sure everyone felt it. Occasionally, Derek would glare at Don through the rearview mirror, and all the man could do was stare sadly back. The man looked truly distraught – if he was pretending, he was a damn good actor.
In the briefing room, the rest of the team had set out the details of the Sanderson case looking for a clue as to why this attack. Derek didn’t spend much time in the room before being called away Strauss. Everyone kept talking, but my brain felt scrambled, and I couldn’t focus right. I stood up suddenly and left the room, trying to escape the stuffiness from those four walls. ‘
“Are you okay, (Y/N)?” Spencer asked, placing a hand on my back.
“I can’t think straight, Spence.”
“Why? If anything, I understand why Derek would feel like this, but not you.”
“Monday night, Derek called me asking for advice on the Sanderson release. He was leaning into not releasing him, going against his gut feeling just in case. And I told him that Sanderson had done the work, proved that he had changed during his time in prison and was no longer a threat to society. The man’s blood is in our hands, Spence.”
“Future telling is not part of your resume, (Y/N),” he chuckled softly. “Given the evidence and the interview Derek made, anyone would have been fooled by him.”
“But we’re not anyone, Reid,” I exasperated. “Our job is literally – and I’m correctly using the word here – to judge people’s behavior and make the right decision so no one else gets hurt. Today someone died because we chose the wrong one. I helped Derek advocate for a killer.”
“No, you didn’t. (Y/N), you and Derek made an informed decision from the pattern of behavior Sanderson exhibited from years in prison,” Spencer comforted. “What we have to do now is determine the reason as to why this is all happening and how it’s connected to the Sanderson case.”
“I guess,” I sighed. “I’m gonna go with Derek. Make sure he doesn’t blow up during the interrogation.”
“Are you sure you’ll be okay, (Y/N)?”
“I’ll be fine, Spence.”
I followed the trail Derek had taken and slowly entered the interrogation room. From behind the glass, I could sense the irritability and despair that filled the small space. Sanderson was spilling every bit of his story – Wittman’s possible connection to his case, what he recalled from that night.
“So Tom Wittman was the only link you had to figure out who was in your house that night?”
“And now I’m back to nothing,” Don affirmed.
“Not necessarily.” Derek stood, excusing himself as he exited the door. “(Y/N), hey.”
“You want to take him back to his house, right? See if he can recall any more memories from that night.”
“When did you add mind reader to your list of talents?” Derek chuckled. “He needs to figure out who else was there that night.”
“It’s the only way we can corroborate his story,” I finished. “Let’s get him cleaned up first.”
We didn’t spend much time in the house. Don Sanderson remembered the night vividly as soon as his foot passed the threshold. He recanted the cold and rainy night, the screams from his wife and daughter, the helplessness as he lay on the floor after he was bashed on the head. And he remembered the woman – she wanted to keep his son. Although he couldn’t describe her face, we were sure if we found out who she was Don would be able to recognize her.
“That’s her,” Don answered as we presented him the possible suspect Garcia, Prentiss, and Seaver were able to draw out back at the office. She was the key to unlocking this puzzle of a case, and hopefully the thing that subsided my guilt.
“Go,” my father instructed Morgan and me. He could tell there was desperation behind our eyes – the need to maintain our reputation as agents. And if the guilt I was feeling was gut-wrenching, I could only imagine how Derek was feeling.
A quick and quiet car ride and we were at the address for Mary Rutka.’
But we weren’t the only ones looking for her. Rutka’s front door was open, and the apartment had been ransacked. With our guns in hand, Morgan and I scanned the room, our eyes quickly falling to Mary’s body on the floor.
As I checked that she was alive and startling her, stumbling resounded from behind the fire escape behind us.
“Derek, go,” I spoke as he sprung to action, running for whoever had beat us to Mary’s home and wanted her to keep quiet.  “I need an ambulance and backup at 751 Hindry Street, Northeast, Apartment 402.”
I stayed behind and kept the woman company as her panic-filled eyes looked up at me. I put pressure on her wound, trying to stop the bleeding that was coming from her throat.
But it was too much. Her eyes had begun to flutter closed. And no matter how much insisting I did to get her to keep her eyes open, she succumbed to the wound, dying before the paramedics had a chance to do anything.
Soon thereafter, the apartment was swarmed with police and forensic staff, doing everything they could to preserve the scene and any evidence Mary had on her person. I quickly shook away the nerves that coursed through my veins after holding the woman’s hand and throat as she died. There were certain things that I had yet grown used to – one thing was looking at a dead body, it was a completely different thing to be with a person as they passed away.
In the floodgate of people coming in and out of the apartment, Detective Bill Codwin joined my side. Noticing my bloodied hands, he handed me a white handkerchief to use whilst he painted the picture of what had gone down in apartment 402.
As I spoke with the detective, Derek walked back in, and I was sure that he noted the anxious chills in my hands – his eyes fell directly on the over-wiped digits. Thankfully, he didn’t mention anything while we were still inside the place and we were able to go through it, finding an integral piece of the puzzle. A dusty videotape hidden on top of the kitchen cabinets. There was no doubt that was the reason Mary Rutka was killed, what she was using to blackmail whoever it was she had done that horrible crime with over twenty years back.
“Hey, Rossi, you okay?” Derek broke the silence in the van as we rode back to the office.
“What do you mean?”
“You’re still rubbing your hands, (Y/N),” Morgan pointed out. “There’s only so much hand sanitizer in that little bottle. Talk to me, kid.”
“I know what she did,” I started. “But she was still a person, you know? And I watched her eyes full of panic as she succumbed to her injuries.”
“You know there was nothing else you could do, right? The guy came to get a job done, and he did.”
“It’s just such a devastating feeling of uselessness,” I sighed. “I’m so used to dead bodies that when I witness someone actively dying in front of me, I just get this weird feeling that I can’t shake off.”
“I can’t tell you that you will get used to it, but you learn to manage it. But you’ll get through it, baby girl. You’ve got us.”
“What about you, Der?”
“What about me?”
“Don’t play coy,” I chuckled slightly. “We’re gonna catch this guy. You made the right decision, Morgan. And now we’re gonna catch the guy that’s been able to elude the law all these years and took so much time from an innocent man. You’re doing that.”
“This day sure didn’t start with me believing that,” he sighed. “I just want to get this over with. This guy can’t continue getting away with this bull.”
“We’ll get him, Derek.” I gave his free hand a comforting squeeze, providing as genuine a smile as I could. “We’ll get him.”
Before we knew it, we were in Penelope’s office dishing out a VCR player to see what was on there that cost a woman her life.
The first image that appeared was Carrie, Abbie, and little Tom Sanderson in bed during Mother’s Day, a breakfast tray across the mom’s lap. It was a beautiful home video that was suddenly cut off by an over-taped recording of the night of the crime. As the image distorted, Penny turned covering her ears and closing her eyes. If there was anyone that deserved to keep her sanity, it was her.
But the video didn’t narrow our search down. The man was wearing a cap and a hoodie, his face completely hidden from the camera. Only the people there would know who it was. All we could do was continue to theorize as a group to restrict the massive list we had.
“Start with men who grew up in the district, came from nothing,” Emily suggested to Penelope.
“His ambition will define him,” Spencer added.
“Whoever did this enjoys taking power away,” Derek pointed out. “He’s been way too smart to keep on killing. So what would satisfy a guy like this?”
“Well, he’s manipulative but trustworthy,” I commented. “Two other people witnessed that murder and they never turned on him.”
“Guys, so we have to think of this city as the unsub’s comfort zone. He didn’t leave for a reason.”
“A target-rich environment,”  my father stated. “ The damage he’s done and continues to do is right here in D.C.
“Politics?”
“I think it’s more intimate than that, (Y/N),” Morgan retorted. “He needs victims who suffer directly from what he’s doing.”
“Ok, I’ll cross the politicians off my list,” Penny commented.
“Look into asset-based lenders,” Emily listed. “Uh, big money-making ventures where people would be left in his wake.”
“Corporate takeovers.”
“Businessman as psychopath?” Seaver questioned.
“They have the same characteristics,” Emily explained to the younger agent. “They just use their skills differently.”
“They both have narcissistic traits such as a grandiose sense of self-importance, deceptiveness, lack of remorse.”
“Hard-core businessmen,” Penny spoke. “36 and counting.”
“That’s way too many,” Derek complained.
“We can each take six and look for connections.”
“No, no. Wait a minute.” I could tell Morgan was putting his brain to work on overtime. The more time we spent in the office, the farther our unsub would slip away. “If we had this case 25 years ago, what would we have seen? How would we fight the physical evidence.”
“We’d look at what the unsub did the moment he arrived at the house,” Ashley perked.
“They broke into the basement.”
Spencer quickly added, “Through a window with rusted-out bars.”
“Garcia, who lived at the house before the Sandersons?” I questioned, instantly knowing the others would follow in my line of thought.
Penny then cross-referenced the few owners to the 36-person long list, hitting a dead-end. Until she looked at the longer list. And bingo. The family of James Stanworth had lived in the house just before the Sandersons before they lost it and had to move to the outskirts of town. The story made sense. In the video, he sounded jealous. He knew the house inside and out, and he knew the family that had moved in. The icing on the cake, a native Washingtonian running for congress.
Now, all we had to do was convince Erin Strauss to allow the arrest of a possible future congressman for Washington D.C.
We were talking about taking into custody someone that was part of the government body to someone that worked closely with people from the government. And I hoped that after we made the compelling case, we’d get the approval.
We didn’t.
But that wasn’t at all surprising.
What struck me odd was the energy exchanged between my father and Strauss. As he and Derek presented their case, my dad pushed the boundaries. Granted, he’d always been this way, but her physical reactions were different. There was a glint in their eyes that had not been there before. Maybe I was reading too much into this because it was my father, but if nothing had happened, something probably would.
“So, there’s nothing we can do?” Penny asked. “This guy’s gonna get away with it?”
“Absolutely not!” I exclaimed, my gaze falling onto Derek’s pacing form. One thing I was sure of was that Morgan would rather lose his job than let someone like Stanworth continue to walk free.
“Garcia, find me James Stanworth right now,” he commanded. “Another hour passes, he’s that much closer to hiding his true self.”
“Mary Rutka is his third murder,” I added. “He’s now officially a serial killer. What do you wanna do?”
“I wanna expose that son of a bitch,” Morgan gritted. “If he did kill Mary Rutka, he’s gonna have cuts on him somewhere. We match that DNA, we’ve got him.”
“Guys, he’s having a fund-raiser at his house in McLean,” Penelope interjected.
“When?”
“It started an hour ago.”
Derek quickly turned and headed to the van knowing that at the very least I would follow him.
“What is we’re wrong?” Emily stopped me.
I could see doubt clouding everyone’s faces. We had motive, we had a fitting profile, and we had enough circumstantial evidence that this was our unsub. “We can’t be.”
After hearing my dad ask Emily to accompany us, I took off on a small run to catch up to Derek who was almost at the elevators. As I reached him, he gave me an appreciative smile. Derek knew that we were both putting our jobs on the line by going after this man, but we needed to take him down.
The four of us piled into a van and sped off to Stanworth’s mansion. We called Detective Codwin to meet us at the house to crash the party and have our killer arrested.
We entered right as Stanworth was finishing his speech, the room full of influential and wealthy people erupting in applause.
“Ladies and gentlemen, congressman, Mr. James Stanworth,” Derek led us through the crowd, calling the attention of the room by slow clapping and using his booming voice. “You sure have a way with words. It’s mighty impressive.”
“Thank you. May I help you?”
“My name’s Derek Morgan. I’m with the FBI.” He walked closer to the man, continuing to close the gap between them. “Do your friends here know that you’re a closet psychopath?”
“Excuse me?” James questioned offended as murmurs resounded through the room.
“Don Sanderson knows,” he jabbed. “Do you remember him? I’m sure you do. You murdered his entire family and got him put away for twenty-five years.”
“Well, agent, if you’ve got anything on me…” James walked forward, holding his hands out to be cuffed.
The man was cocky, indicative of his personality. James knew there was little to no evidence against him. He was an important man and nailing him almost seemed like an impossible task.
“No,” Derek didn’t back down. “James, it’s not on you. It’s inside you.”
“Killing Mary Rutka really got you going, didn’t it?” I spoke up.
“I’m afraid I don’t know who that is.”
“Jim, what’s going on?” Mrs. Stanworth asked her husband, just as confused as the rest of the partygoers. But was shut down by her husband. “But I don’t understand…”
“Don’t worry,” he exasperated.
“He’s good at that. Anger,” Derek kept poking. “He’s dismissive by nature. Can’t show affection, though, can he?”
“You walk on eggshells, you and the children,” my father chimed in.
“Jim…” the woman continued meekly.
“Shut up!” James’s mask was breaking, all in front of his constituents. That perfectly crafted façade was shattering quickly.
“Here it comes,” Morgan taunted.
I joined in his game saying, “Where was your husband today at 3 o’clock?”
“These are ridiculous fabrications.”
“It doesn’t matter,” I continued. “We know where he was. I held the hand of the woman he murdered.”
“James, whoever did kill Mary left some DNA behind, under her fingernails.” Another crack to the mask. “What’s that?”
Derek held James’s right hand up, revealing red slashes on the top of his hand. “Well,” James answered. “That would be a cut. I cut myself on broken glass.”
“No. Mary Rutka did that to you trying to defend herself,” Morgan corrected. “You knew Don Sanderson was out after twenty-five years. He got to Tom Wittman, and you were afraid that if he got to Mary, he might find you and bring you down for what you did to his family all those years ago.”
“You’re delusional, agent,” he stammered.
But Derek continued. “You panicked and you killed Mary.”
“I don’t panic,” he stated.
“You did panic. You’re a killer. It’s what you do. You destroy people’s lives.”
“I destroyed no one.”
The back and forth went on for a couple of more seconds with Derek stating the facts of the case and pressing the open wound of panic in James’s head with the man continuingly denying it. Until an outburst made it evident that he’d been caught.
“They’ve got nothing,” he presented as a last resort of salvation.
“We found the tape,” I mentioned.
That sentence had the man’s face completely fall. Codwin took him under arrest, and we were back to the office, to finally give a tortured man his first day of peace.
I didn’t stay long at the office afterward deciding to finally head home and wash away the pains of the day – probably drink them down too. It had been a stressful day and at the very end, I was sure we would have had a killer walking free due to governmental bureaucracy. It was a part of this job that made me feel completely useless.
The house was empty when I got there. No sign of the Hotchner boys in sight. I could tell Hotch had cleaned up, the smell of sweet lavender danced into my nostrils as soon as I walked through the doors. In the kitchen, a glass container rested on the island with a note that read,
Hope you don’t mind I took the liberty of cleaning up a bit. Also made you some dinner since I’m sure you’ll forget to eat. Heat it up at 350 for around twenty minutes and enjoy. Let me know how the case went. And, again, thank you for everything you’ve done for me and Jack.
-Aaron
I was sure that Hotch only cared for me as nothing more than a friend, but it was moments such as these that my heart could not determine where the line between care and love was. And I wondered if Hotchner had those doubts too.

Author's note: Wasn't episode 8 just lovely? I just couldn't get this out of my head, they're becoming so dependent on each other. Be still my beating heart. They're reminding me of my MoonMun couple so much and I think that explains my obsession and the amount of fics I've written thus far lol.
Summary: Just for tonight he'll be selfish.
"Are you okay now? Is there someone there?" He moves towards the dark alley that she came bolting from looking as frightened as he's ever seen her. He feels his muscles coil ready to protect her by any means possible. But before he can move she's tightening her hold on him, clinging to him now he can feel her warmth all around him like a blanket.
"No! Don't leave me." Hearing that scared plea causes a blurry memory to resurface in his mind, he can almost feel the words swimming in his mind but the memory is foggy and it evaporates as quickly as it formed.
Strange.
"Okay, okay. I'm not going anywhere. Let's go inside." He starts to maneuver her toward her house at first she moves with him but then she stills, letting out a small sound of recollection.
"My phone." She whispers into his chest, they are pressed so closely he can feel her heartbeat still pounding through her chest into his. He strokes her back in a lazy soothing manner, shocked when she melts into his embrace further. Nothing is making sense at this moment but he doesn't care enough to stop, this.
"What about your phone?" He redirects the conversation and she continues, "I dropped it in there when I ran away."
"Okay. I'll go get it, wait here." He starts to gently untangle her hands from his flannel but she lets out a whine, gripping his shirt even stronger and moving with him.
"I'll---let's go together."
She's trembling now, positively shaking in her spot and he wants to argue with her to just go inside and wait for him but her earlier plea echoes in his ears. He can't leave her alone not right now, so he steps forward feeling her move with him, one step after another until he sees the rectangular object on the ground.
"I'm going to bend down to get it." He can feel her shifting beside him looking around wildly but thankfully no ominous figure appears, they are alone.
After a moment she nods, letting go enough for him to bend and retrieve the device and he checks the screen noting happily that it's not damaged but when he touches the screen it doesn't turn on so he tries again.
"It's dead. I forgot to charge it." She admits, taking the phone from his grasp.
He turns to her with a sharp stare, "You stayed out late after what happened and didn't charge your phone? Are you that fearless?" He chides, frustrated with her lack of awareness and disregard for her safety. If anything ever happened to her he would.... He would.......
"It wasn't on purpose. I didn't realize. I know it was irresponsible."
It's not a response he's expecting, the Hye Jin he knows would argue back, hardly taking shit from him ergo her meek uncharacteristic reply makes him feel worst, he shouldn't be blaming her especially after seeing first-hand how scared she is.
"Let's go inside now, it's cold and you're shaking." They both know the temperature has very little to do with her tremors but she doesn't disagree and carelessly he enters the code when they reach the door, ignoring the jolt in his chest that erupts as he enters his own birthday and the door clicks open. He thought she would have changed it by now.
He's grateful she hasn't.
They both take off their shoes, standing side by side now her arm around his waist and his around her shoulder. It's a small space and they can barely move but they work around it, reluctant to release each other.
"Thank you." Her voice is barely above a whisper, he thinks that he almost imagined it. He had an excuse prepared this time, he was merely patrolling and happened to pass her house. That was the lie he intended to go with, but something in her voice stops him from saying those deceitful words. He's tired of hiding and making up excuses for being around her.
"You're welcome. Here sit down, I'll make you some tea." Thoughtlessly he moves towards the kitchen, taking two steps until he can't move anymore. She's holding onto him tightly, he turns around looking at her small closed fists and then her trembling pretty face.
With a soft sigh, he takes her hand rubbing a thumb across the smooth skin.
"Just come with me." Immediately she steps forward pressing into his back, he tries to calm his heart taking the teapot and filling it with water, then he opens the cabinet retrieving a mug and setting it aside.
"I like honey. And a squeeze of lemon." He smiles at her soft demands.
Now that sounds more like his dentist. The bottle of honey is in her top cabinet and he grabs a fresh lemon from the fridge cutting it in half.
They stand silently as the water boils and he finally feels his anger boiling away as well. Angry that he was almost too late and that his town isn't safe anymore, angry that someone was able to shake this immoveable woman.
The shrill ringing of the teapot breaks him from his impasse, on autopilot he pours the water on the tea bag, then squeezes the honey in the steaming water, "I like a lot of honey." She's attached to his back her voice vibrating straight through him, he freezes when she wraps her arms around his waist. Her closeness is messing with his mind, but he tries to finish his job and get them on the couch maybe with some distance between them.
For his sanity.
"Let's go sit down." He grabs both mugs walking over to her couch, placing her cup on the far right and taking a seat on the far left putting a sea of distance between them. But immediately she sits down right next to him, leaving no space between them she might as well be in his lap. He squirms in place, standing up to get some reprieve but she grabs his hand staring up at him.
"Where are you going?" Fear bleeds into her voice and he lets go of his hesitations, tonight is not about him.
Leaning over he grabs her cup, tugging it closer.
"Nowhere, I'm not going anywhere. Drink your tea."
She blinks slowly at him before nodding and bringing the warm beverage to her lips. Her hum of satisfaction warms him all the way down to his toes.
"It's good. You really are good at everything." He preens at the compliment, thinking of all the times this week he wasn't needed or was cast aside for Director Ji. He's been swallowing his jealousy all week. So her words fill a hollow space in his chest.
He watches her drink the entire cup, ignoring his own growing cold on the table.
"I need to charge my phone." She suddenly says and he stares before nodding, taking the opportunity to drink his lukewarm tea. But then he notices that she's not moving despite having the phone and charging in her hand.
"What's wrong?" He raises an eyebrow in confusion.
She looks embarrassed now, unable to meet his eyes and he's flabbergasted at her reaction.
"Come with me?" He stares at her, feeling the same pride bloom as when she sat next to him instead of her sunbae, she's leaning on him.
He spots an outlet across the room, "Okay let's go there." She looks relieved at his lack of teasing, together they walk over to the outlet and she bends to plug in the charger and puts the phone on the ground.
In seconds the phone comes to life and he feels a sharp pain in his chest as a barrage of messages light up her phone, the majority from one person. When she clicks to open the message he instinctively looks away, not wanting to witness their conversation.
"He messaged so much." Her voice is filled with awe and childishly he moves away. He'd almost forgotten that she didn't actually need him. He was just conveniently there.
"I should go now. You're safe. Make sure to come home earlier from now on, maybe ask him to walk you home." It hurts to utter those words but it's easier than being replaced later, it's okay if he's the one that pushes her away first. "I'll see myself out."
He stands ready to leave, pointedly not looking back before he changes his mind and stays forever.
She was just scared, tonight didn't mean anything.
He grabs his fallen bagpack thrusting it on his shoulder, hopping into his boots all ready to head out. But it's unusually quiet, the silence is so deafening that he can't stop himself from looking back over at her. It's a mistake, a huge one at that. The phone has fallen from her hands, abandoned to the side and she's looking at him with the most desolate stare he's ever seen, moisture pooling in her huge round eyes.
"What's wrong? Why are you cry--"
"You said you wouldn't leave me. Why are you changing your mind? What if someone is still there? What am I supposed to do without yo--u?" Her voice cracks on the last word and his heart follows, she needs him. Nobody else has this week but here she is breaking down because he tried to leave, she needs him.
His decision is made for him in that moment.
As soon as he's close enough to touch she's clinging to him once again, he only absently realizes that she's trying to lead them to her bedroom but even he's not saintly enough for that so he stops her.
"Let's go to the couch. You'll feel more comfortable."
She doesn't question him seemingly happy to follow his lead.
The couch is comfy but definitely not intended for two grown adults, leaning over the arm rest he tries to get situated and once he stops moving she's snuggling into his side curling around him like a cat.
"Whenever I was scared, my mom used to stroke my hair."
He stares at the wall in front of them, wondering if she's aware of just how many lines they're crossing tonight- no catapulting over. But he's tired of second guessing himself so he stops thinking and just listens, bringing the hand that is curled on her shoulder up to her head before dragging his palm down her soft hair, gulping when she moans at the ministrations.
Her breathing starts to deepen and he feels her body losing its tension, she's falling asleep and once she succumbs he can finally make his escape, that's his plan. But he doesn't expect her to start stroking him too, her hand delicate on his chest.
"You've worked hard. Stopping a scammer and saving me all while recovering from a cold."
It's nothing. It's what he's supposed to do.
But it feels so good to hear those words, words that he hardly heard growing up.
"Go to sleep." He says instead of thank you, instead of kissing her like he's wanted to since he saw her outside and she ran straight into his heart.
It's a miracle but she listens to him, drifting to sleep her head heavy on his chest and he knows that he should wait a few minutes and try to extract himself but he can't, not tonight. Just for tonight he'll be selfish.
"You're making me want all sorts of things." He whispers to her sleeping face, terrified of her and all that she makes him feel. Feeling emboldened by their almost kiss initiated by her, he pushes her hair behind her ear taking a second to really looking at her face. She really is that beautiful. It doesn't seem fair. Leaning down he presses a soft kiss to her forehead, her skin is sleep warm and perfectly smooth. He presses a second one shamelessly. Her lips are right there and heavens knows that he's tempted but he can't take advantage, can't bring himself to do anything else. That's enough.
He doesn't know when he fell asleep but he wakes up to Mi-seon throwing a blanket over them, he keeps his eyes tightly shut mentally berating himself for that leaving when he had a chance.
"Just friends my ass. Just admit that you like him, look at the way you're clinging to him."
Somehow they traversed further down the couch in their sleep, both laying horizontal now with her body on top on his and her head tucked under his chin.
"I've never seen her sleep so peacefully though. She looks so young."
He tries not to think too deeply into what that might mean, listening to the retreating footsteps of her roommate and feeling himself losing the battle with sleep. She'll probably be embarrassed to find them this way tomorrow but that's a hurdle for another day.
Just for tonight I'll hold her. Until I'm not allowed to hold her anymore.

Kidnapped (Dabi x fem!reader NSFW)
Contents: Kidnapping, CnC, chains, fingering, creampie, orgasm control
(Y/N)'s Quirk: Spider web (think: Spiderman)
1.5k words
Tumblr media
(Y/N) ran through the city of Hosu, using her quirk to swing from building to building. Structures around her collapsed and fell from the ongoing fire set by a villain. She sweared under her breathe as a beam from a building narrowly missed crushing her. She dodged falling objects and swerved at unexpected moments, trying to lose the villain following her.
"Goddamit." She yelled to the villain with burnt wounds on his face and arms.
"What, sweetheart?" The villain yelled back, teasing her. "You can't seem to run fast enough from me."
And he was right. (Y/N) was starting to lose her focus and getting tired. She stretched out her hand behind her, shooting a net of webs towards him, trying to stop him. He held up his hand to block the attack, but it did little. The web attached to him, pinning him to a wall. She smiled slightly as she landed a successful attack, but her smile soon faded as she looked back to see the villain smirking at her as blue flames engulfed his body, burning the web that had captured him.
Soon, he was gaining ground on (Y/N) again and (Y/N) was growing more and more fatigued with every attack and step she took. Just as she was about to make another turn, a large shadow engulfed her. She held up her arm and looked up, wondering what it was. Her eyes widened as she realized a large steel beam was about to collapse onto her. With no where to run and no place to take cover, all she could do was gawk at it as it was about to crush her to death. Suddenly, she felt a pair of strong arms around her waist. She collapsed into the villains arms as he ran from under the beam, taking (Y/N) with him.
"Tch," The villain clicked his tongue, "You have really bad stamina." He said as (Y/N) collapsed in his arms, unable to move from fatigue. The last thing she saw were his icy blue eyes as her vision tunneled and fainted in his arms.
(Y/N) groggily opened her eyes, wondering where she was. She wanted to rub her eyes, but her hand seemed to not go far when she felt a tug and a jingle. As she looked up, she noticed that her arms where handcuffed and chained above her head. Snapping her back to reality, memories of what happened before she blacked out came rushing back. She remembered running from the villain, almost getting crushed to death, and being saved by the villain. She looked around her, trying to figure out where she was. She noticed that she was on a bed in a dark bedroom. Her hands were cuffed together above her head while another chain connected the handcuffs to the bed post. Her legs were individually chained to each side of the bed. She tried to struggle out of the chains, but to no avail.
Soon, the same villain that had chased her entered the room through the only door, sending a flood of light in that temporarily blinded her. The door soon closed and the room returned back to the misty darkness it originally had been in.
"What's going on?" She asked, confused.
"We're going to have some fun together." The villain said, licking his lips and smirking at her.
"Fun...?" (Y/N) asked, confused. "Who are you? Why did you capture me?" She pressured on.
"Oh sweetheart, we're going to have a lot of fun together... whether you like it or not. I do think you will eventually like it." He said with a twinkle in his eyes. "You can call me Dabi," He said, turning around and walked around the room, "Or if you prefer, Daddy." He said, turning back around and walking towards (Y/N).
"Wha-" Before (Y/N) could react, Dabi was next to (Y/N), stroking her face softly. He crawled onto the bed, on top of (Y/N) as he played with the button of her shirt. He slowly popped the first one off, all whilst keeping eye contact with (Y/N).
"Stop-" She said as Dabi popped the second one. The chains began to jingle, but there was nothing she could do to stop Dabi.
"Ohh, it seems like I've caught myself a feisty one." Dabi purred, popping off the next two buttons. By this point, the top of (Y/N)'s bra and cleavage was exposed. Dabi continued to pop off the rest of the buttons, pulling the sides of her shirt away from her body. He leaned down, licking (Y/N)'s stomach. He trailed his tongue from her stomach to the top of her breasts.
"Your skin is so soft, (Y/N)~" He said while (Y/N)'s body shuttered from his touch.
"H-how do you know my n-name?" She asked, to which Dabi just laughed. His hand squeezed her breast roughly while his lips kissed her other breast lightly. As (Y/N)'s back arched, Dabi took the chance to snake his arms around her back, unclipping her bra. He threw her bra off the bed.
"We don't need that, do we?" He snickered. His lips found (Y/N)'s right nipple as his other hand continued to caress her other breast. Her nipples soon grew hard, much to the amusement of Dabi.
"Enjoying yourself?" Dabi asked. (Y/N) quickly shook her head, but she let out a surprised moan as Dabi bit her nipple lightly.
As Dabi's hand traveled slowly down her stomach towards her skirt, (Y/N)'s eyes widened, "N-no!" She squeaked.
"Why?" Dabi asked, "How will we have fun if we don't get rid of this?" He asked. He unbuckled her skirt and threw it to the side, alongside her bra. He activated his quirk, creating a small flame floating on the tips of his finger as he lit her panties on fire, but controlling it enough to not hurt (Y/N).
His fingers stroked his core. "You say you don't want it, but your pussy is already soaking wet." He teased, bringing his fingers up to show (Y/N) how her juices had already coated his fingers. He placed two fingers into his mouth, licking her juices.
"You're so sweet, (Y/N)." He said as (Y/N) blushed from the action. His fingers crept back down to her womanhood, stroking it softly. He rubbed her clit harder, causing (Y/N) to moan slightly. His other hand crept down to her pussy, inserting one finger into her wet hole. He continued to stroke her clit in circles as he fingered her. (Y/N)'s moans grew louder as her pussy began to throb against his fingers.
"Is someone about to cum?" He teased, "We can't have that just yet." He said, stroking her clit a few more times before releasing his fingers from her clit just before she came. (Y/N) looked a bit disappointed, but didn't complain. It seemed like she was trying to hide her pleasure.
Dabi got off her, much to the confusion of (Y/N).
"Oh don't worry, sweetheart. We aren't done just yet." Dabi said. He unbuckled his pants and popped out his dick. (Y/N)'s eyes widened as she saw his 10 inch erect dick. He smirked and climbed back on top of (Y/N), positioning his dick against her pussy.
"W-wait! Nothing but that!" (Y/N) stuttered, eyes laced with fear.
"You say no, but your body is telling me you want it." Dabi said with a smirk. In a clean stroke, Dabi thrusted into (Y/N), groaning as he did. (Y/N)'s eyes widened as she winced in pain. After a few seconds to allow her to adjust (which by no means was enough for (Y/N)), Dabi began to move slowly, but putting power behind ever stroke.
After a few minutes, (Y/N) was no longer in pain and seemed to be having more and more trouble stifling her moans.
"Just give in." Dabi suggested with a grin. He kissed (Y/N) roughly while continuing to pound her. He licked her bottom lip, asking for entrance, which she denied. He pinched her nipple, causing her to gasp. He took this opportunity to slip into her mouth, exploring it. His other hand continued to massage and caress her breasts, occasionally pinching and twisting her nipples.
His strokes grew harder and faster as her insides tightened against his dick. Soon he began to hit the entrance to her womb. He groaned as (Y/N)'s pussy walls tightened against his dick.
"I'm going to cum." He said, much to (Y/N)'s horror.
"N-not inside!" She replied.
"Why not? It's not like you're going to be leaving here anyways." He said with a smirk, slamming his lips against hers again. After a few strokes, he slammed his dick in her one last time. His cock twitched as he came, shooting his cum deep into her womb.
(Y/N) came soon after that, her back arching and her pussy twitching. She felt his warm cum seeping deep into her pussy, causing her to moan. As Dabi pulled out, some of his cum dripped out of her pussy, combining with her own as she twitched a bit.
"W-why?" (Y/N) asked slowly.
"Why not?" Dabi asked with a smirk. "I think we would make a pretty cute baby." He said, plopping down next to (Y/N).
"Now, I trust you won't run?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. (Y/N) sighed and nodded. Dabi reached over and unlocked (Y/N), letting her rub her sore wrists and ankles. He draped an arm over her, pulling her close towards his chest. He kissed the top of her head lightly, smiling as he watched her.
"Thank you..." He said softly, soon falling asleep with (Y/N) in his arms.
"Maybe this isn't so bad after all..." (Y/N) thought to herself before also dozing off to the warmth of Dabi's body.
Woohoo! Done with the first oneshot! I know this was a bit dark (and truthfully, I don't write a lot of things like this), but I had to get this down on paper after a sudden bout of inspiration! This is my first written smut, so it's not the best (I'm not very good at starting or ending stories/oneshots), but I hoped you enjoyed it! Please let me know any suggestions, requests, or anything else in the comments!
Let's watch me grow as a writer together :) Cheers to our adventure! 🎉🎉

Obey Me Headcannons
What they do when you have chronic pain and you get stuck. Sometimes with chronic pain, you try to move but the pain stops you and you get stuck in place. Here's how I think the characters would react.
(This mostly happens to me with my back, so that's mostly how I wrote these, though I tried to be vague)
Some angst in Solomon and Simeon's.
I might post Solomon's separately too because I actually really love how it turned out.
Lucifer
It had been quite the long day and you decided to spend a little time somewhere quiet. You head to Lucifer's study, where you can spend some time listening to music with him and reading while he finishes his paperwork for the day.
You settle in on the sofa with your book and a cup of tea, but it's difficult to get comfortable and you find yourself shifting positions more and more as the night wears on and the aches set in. Though the scratch of Lucifer's pen never stops, he doesn't fail to notice this.
Eventually you decide to head to bed, but as you go to sit up you freeze in an awkward position and gasp as a sharp pain shoots through you. Your hand reaches gingerly for the source of the pain for a little support as your eyes scrunch shut.
Lucifer is up as soon as he hears your pained voice, coat falling from his shoulders and forgotten on the floor. By the time you open your eyes, he's kneeling by your side.
"Are you alright?" He asks, not bothering to hide the concern on his face.
"It hurts..." is all you can mumble, "I can't move"
He replaces your hand with his, trying gently to soothe the pain, "Try to relax" He looks up at you through a few strands of hair that have fallen into his face and you feel an intense warmth where his hand lies on your body, followed by your muscles loosening and relaxing slowly. You sigh in relief
Satisfied that the pain has passed, at least for the moment, Lucifer gingerly scoops you into his arms and carries you upstairs to his room. He tucks you into his bed, and still leaning over you places a soft kiss to your forehead as his hair tickles your face.
"If you need anything just call for me. I'll be along shortly. Until then, get some rest" He says. As he leaves he turns out the lights and leaves the door to the study open in case you need him.
True to his word, you're barely drifting off to sleep when you feel the weight of the bed shift, and an arm pulling you close to his chest.
Mammon
Every time it happens he panics a little, even as he starts to get used to it happening.
You two had been out shopping all day, running around until you were both exhausted. As you got back to his room with all of the shopping bags, you could already feel your body stiffening up as though it could sense that the day was ending.
You sat down on his bed while he unpacked a few of the shopping bags, and let yourself fall backwards onto the soft mattress as the exhaustion started to fully set in.
"Hey, I can't find that watch I bought, is it in one of your bags?" He asks. You start to sit up, but your body freezes at an awkward angle as a pained noise escapes you and you try to support yourself with one hand on the mattress, the other on your back where it feels like you're being stabbed.
The noise startles Mammon, and he drops what he's holding as his head whips in your direction, "What-!? MC, are ya okay? What's'a matter?!" It feels like someone put his heart in a vice grip and crushed it when he sees the pained expression on your face and he rushes to your side.
"I'm stuck!"
"Whaddaya mean stuck?!" No one told him this happens to humans! His hands hover near you for a moment, afraid to touch you in case he makes it worse.
"Hurts... Can't move"
"Okay... uhhh. here!" he puts a hand on your back and tries to help you sit up but you yelp again and shake your head. "A-Ahh! So-sorry MC! Here, just lean on me then" Feeling guilty and sad for his human he sits down and wraps his arm fully around you, to support your weight until the pain starts to subside, "Don't worry, Mammon's here. I've got you, so just relax" His face reddens further as you grip his shirt, and his heart swells as you lean into his touch, relying on him. Trusting him. Needing him. He'd stay like this forever if he had to, but soon you move tentatively, testing whether the pain has subsided enough for you to move again.
His strong arms support you, helping you lay down and get comfortable in his bed. He's not letting you go anywhere or do anything else tonight.
"Geez, don't push yourself so hard. Tell me next time before ya over do it, okay?" He sighs, looking down at you with a troubled expression before taking his jacket off and climbing in next to you.
Leviathan
You two were having one of your gaming / anime binge nights and you had been sitting in the same position for far too long, so you might've guessed that this would end up happening. When you finally try to move to change positions, you get stuck, with a soft noise of pain that startles Levi.
"Ah!"
"Wh-What was that?!" Startled, His face turns bright red. He can't tell you what it sounded like, but when he sees the look on your face his turns redder in embarrassment at where his mind had gone.
"I'll be fine in a minute... I just... can't move" the pain in your voice is obvious and his heart shatters.
"What can I- Is there anything I can-?" He's not sure what to do or say, but he knows he wants to help, and yet his heart sinks when you shake your head. He feels so useless.
"I just have to wait it out" You try to move again, but it brings tears to your eyes as you gasp a second time. All he wants to do is protect you, to be your hero, but how can he protect you from your own body?
He hesitantly reaches out, half pulling back for a split second before resting a tentative hand on your back and trying to rub calming circles there.
"I... think I have a heating pad somewhere?" He offers.
"That would be great"
"Okay" He doesn't move to go get it until you're able to move on your own again. He couldn't bring himself to leave your side.
"Alright, I have a few other things that might help too" He returns with a bag he'd loaded with supplies, "Let's go to your room, MC"
He knows the bed-tub probably isn't the best place for you to properly rest in, and he also knows that there's really no place like your own room when you're not feeling well. So, he helps you limp to your room and into bed with his Ruri-chan heating pad, supporting you the whole way and blushing furiously. Then, he puts on an anime on your tv so the two of you can continue your binge more comfortably.
He pulls you in close, and with one hand, tilts your head to lean on his chest, still blushing at his own boldness.
Satan
He's in the library at the House of Lamentation, sitting on one of the couches reading when he hears a sharp intake of breath and a quiet whine. He puts down his book and gets up to investigate, where he finds you at one of the tables, half standing from your seat, but unmoving.
He quickly approaches you, noting the look of pain on your face, "MC, what's wrong?" He asks, sliding an arm around your waist to help support you. Without much thought he tries to help lift you into a standing position, but you moan in pain again and he stops immediately, eyes widening.
"I can't-! I can't move" You gasp, "It hurts"
Briefly his face reddens at the realization that the two of you are stuck like this for a little while, but his worry overshadows anything else.
"I'll be okay in a minute" You try to assure him, but the way your voice sounds is anything but reassuring. He just nods, prepared to hold you for as long as it takes. He looks down into your face with concern in his eyes.
"What brought this on?" He asks.
"It just happens some times. I guess I pushed myself too hard today, and my body just locks up" You explain. He nods, already mentally trying to figure out the best way to look up a phenomenon like this to try to calm his racing heart.
Eventually you try to move again, and he helps you stand up.
"You should rest, now. Let's get you back to your room to lie down" He says, pulling one of your arms over his shoulder and supporting your weight, one arm still around your waist as he walks you there. He takes it slow, and helps you into bed, making sure you're comfortable. He leaves for a little while but returns with a few books, some tea, and a bottle from the medicine cabinet for you.
"Do you mind if I read with you for a while?" He can't bring himself to leave your side just yet, though he knows you need some rest. He wants to be there in case you need anything. He'll likely be there until you fall asleep, possibly falling asleep next to you as well.
Amodeous
You two spent nearly an entire day doing Devilgram photoshoots, and you had no idea how exhausting and painful it was to be doing modeling poses for so long. Your muscles were burning after thirty minutes, but obviously Asmo wouldn't be satisfied with such a short photoshoot.
He'd noticed that you were getting tired, so the two of you were heading back to the House of Lamentation. He thought it would be romantic to stop at the park for a rest, and maybe a few candid Devilgram shots, and so he lead you to a nearby bench.
"Smile!" He pulls out his phone, and as you turn to lean into him, you jolt in pain as your body freezes awkwardly and you grab his thigh for support.
"MC! So forward today~! You know I lov-" He stops as he looks into your face, scrunched unpleasantly in pain, "Oh, dear! Are you alright?"
"It hurts..." You whine, tears prickling at your vision. He gives you a heartbroken look before sliding an arm around you to support you, and leaning over you to block you from anyone else's view. He brings his other hand to your face to stroke your cheek with his thumb and wipe away your tears. It tugs at his heart when one of your hands reaches up and grips his shirt for more support.
He peppers your face with soft, comforting kisses, assuring you that he's there for you, "Shhh, just focus on me, okay? I'm right here" he whispers.
Once you're ready to move again, he encourages you to put your arms around him so he can help you the rest of the way home, high key loving the excuse to have you touching him. The rest of the walk back is filled with promises of relaxing baths and massages. He is going to take such good care of you tonight.
Beelzebub
The two of you had spent the day on a hiking trail that Beel had been excited to check out, and really wanted to share the experience with you. However you felt about hiking, you did not expect the trail to be so intense.
Beel checked in with you regularly, making sure you were doing alright, but he had been so excited about this trail that you were determined to make it through. Unfortunately this meant that by the time the two of you made it to the top you'd already pushed yourself too hard.
You supported yourself with one arm against a tree, breathing heavily as Beel happily took a look at the scenery from where the two of you stood. You try to straighten up and move to join him closer to the edge of the cliff where he stood, but you froze.
His head whips around when he hears you whine in pain, and he's at your side in a second, "Are you okay?"
"I'm stuck"
"Stuck?" His eyes widen, hands hovering near you, unsure what to do.
"I overdid it" You say with an apologetic look, "It hurts to move"
"I'm sorry" He says sadly, moving closer, "Where does it hurt?"
You slowly move your arm to point to the locked up portion of your lower back, and he kneels behind you, "Will it hurt if I touch you?" He asks tentatively. When you give him permission you feel his strong hands begin gently rubbing the sore muscles there. The way his thumbs and palms massage your back feels so good you can't help but sigh, and you blush a little as you feel how big his hands really are. He's slow and gentle, and has a knack for finding all of the knotted muscles, and he doesn't stop until you give him the signal that you're feeling better.
Once you're able to move again you turn around to thank him and see a hint of pink dusting his cheeks as he looks up at you, "I'll carry you back. Here" He turns on his knees, offering you his back.
"Are you sure?" You ask guiltily, remembering the arduous trail.
"Yea!" He smiles over his shoulder at you, "You should take it easy, and it'll be a great work out for me too"
You feed him trail snacks as he happily carries you all the way back to the House of Lamentation. He'll run you a bath and get some food together for the two of you and make sure you're resting comfortably before he goes and gets cleaned up himself.
Belphegor
It had been a long day and you were looking forward to getting home and laying down. Of course you and Belphie are nap buddies, and today you can't think of anything better than a big bed full of soft pillows and blankets, so you head off to find him.
He's in the attic today, and your body doesn't particularly want to climb all of the stairs, but neither of you can help but smile when you see each other. He greets you with a laugh as you flop down in bed next to him, your greeting muffled in pillows.
"Aww, what's the matter?" He laughs, and the little shit begins tickling you so he can see your smile. And at first you do. You're laughing and twitching, trying to escape his touch, when suddenly your body jerks and you moan in pain. Belphie immediately pulls away in shock, seeing you frozen at an awkward angle, face scrunched up in a heartbreaking expression.
"Are you okay? Did I hurt you?" He's afraid to touch you now, feeling guilty. Unwanted images of the last time he hurt you surfacing in his mind.
"Hurts to move..." You whine, "I'll be okay... in a few minutes" You try to breathe but even that hurts your stiff body in this position. He leans back over you and slowly reaches out to stroke your hair.
"Try to relax" He says softly, feeling quite helpless and unsure of what else to do. So, he stays like that, stroking your hair and giving you gentle, comforting caresses as he encourages you to breathe and relax. He'll kiss your forehead and help you get more comfortable once you can move again before showering you with more kisses.
He'll curl up next to you and hold you close for the rest of the night, still patting your head, and running his hands over your arms or sides or wherever he can reach to comfort you and let you know he's there. He'll help you fall asleep quickly and makes sure you have good dreams tonight.
Diavolo
You've been bent over your Devildom History paper for hours, and you knew you needed a break but you were nowhere near done. You were working on it at the castle, because you thought that there couldn't be a better place to go for references than somewhere so central to Devildom history and Diavolo was happy to open his home to you. Diavolo was working on his own paperwork nearby in case you had any questions, and as an excuse to allow himself to be distracted.
You stood to stretch, but immediately regretted it. As soon as your back straightened, you collapsed forward to support yourself with your fists balled on the table before you, arms rigid and body trembling with pain.
You don't even hear him get up, but he's at your side almost instantly, "MC! What happened, are you alright?" Worry clear in his tone. He thinks his heart may stop as it stutters in his chest.
You try to straighten again, but whine in pain, body forcing you to stay put, "I'm stuck"
"Stuck?" He's surprised, confused, and concerned in equal measures. He didn't know humans could get 'stuck,' and what's more, it's breaking his heart to see the pain you're in.
"I think I sat in a bad position for too long... It hurts to move"
"I see. It hurts... here?" He asks, placing a heavy hand gently on your back. When you nod you feel a soothing, tingling sensation spread out from where his hand lay. He rubs your back in comforting circles as the magic spreads from nerve ending to nerve ending and slowly, you feel your body start to relax and the pain subside.
Standing hesitantly, you test your body, and find only the remnants of a dull ache as you straighten fully.
"You've worked hard today," He looks down at you with kind, sad eyes, "I think it's time for some rest and a reward!" One hand still against your back, he bends down and places the other behind your knees, picking you up slowly so as not to jostle you too much and cause your muscles to tense again. "How does dinner in bed sound? You can stay here tonight"
Barbatos
It had already been a long day of chasing the brothers around and participating in their antics, and it was barely past lunch. You were leaning against a nearby wall for support when Barbatos walked by.
"Ah, MC! I was preparing to take a walk in the gardens, care to join me?" He asks with a pleasant smile. A relaxing walk sounded like just the thing you needed. You nodded with a smile and moved to step away from the wall only to wince, and fall back against it for support.
His eyes widen, "Mc? Are you quite alright?" He steps nearer, worry plain in his usually composed features. He extends a steadying hand to you, which you gladly accept.
"I'll be okay..." You gasp, "It hurts to move, but it'll pass"
"I see. Allow me to support you" Gently, he wraps his other arm around you, taking your weight easily. You wince again as you lean away from the wall and into his embrace and he feels a harsh tug at his heart as you let out a small whine. "I apologize, MC. I did not realize you were feeling unwell today. If there is any way I can be of assistance, please tell me"
"I appreciate you," He blushes a little at your words, "I just need a little rest. It's been a long day" you continue.
"In that case, I'm happy to stay like this as long as you need. I must say it does feel nice to be able to be this close" He admits, looking into your eyes with a soft expression.
Once the pain begins to fade, you let him know. He slowly helps you shift your weight back. You still limp a little as you take a few hesitant steps, but he never lets you go.
"Shall I escort you home? I could call a car" He offers.
"I think I'd like to take that walk with you" You smile.
"If you are sure, then we shall take it slow" He can't help but return your smile. He remains quite attentive as he supports you along the walk. One arm remains around you even after your walk returns to normal and you assure him the pain has gone. He just can't bring himself to let you go, "I'll stay by your side as long as you'll allow me to"
Solomon
Solomon had invited you to Purgatory Hall to work on an experiment with him. It had been a long day, but you were looking forward to spending some time with him even if you were tired. You sat next to him as he worked, getting completely wrapped up in the experiment, as he often tended to.
Simeon and Luke were out for the evening, so it was quiet, particularly compared to the House of Lamentation, and it afforded you some time to relax. Today was one of those days where there wasn't much for you to help with, which your achy body wasn't going to complain about, but you still found Solomon's company soothing and enjoyed watching him work.
"Do you mind if I go grab a drink real quick?" You say, standing from your spot beside him and heading to the door.
"Sure" He responds absently. You leave and after a few moments he realizes something, and calls out to you from his desk without looking up, "Be careful though, some of my other experiments are in th-"
His voice dies in his throat when he hears your gasp of pain, immediately followed by the shattering of glass on tile. He stands so quickly he knocks over his chair and stumbles over it as he runs toward the kitchen, long fingertips pushing his upper body away from the floor as he struggles not to lose his momentum.
In seconds he's in the kitchen, noting the clear liquid pooling around the shards of glass on the floor and the way you're supporting yourself on the counter, unable to stand up fully. He does a mental inventory of the unlabeled experiments in the refrigerator and comes up short. He can't remember which one that was, but he knows any of those unfinished potions could mean a painful demise.
He's standing in front of you without even realizing he had crossed the kitchen, gripping your upper arms and staring into your face with wide, worried eyes.
"What did it taste like? How do you feel?" His words are rushed with panic.
"What?" You're confused, but the pain in your voice makes him feel like the ground might slip out from under his feet.
He swallows past the lump in his throat, "I need to figure out what you drank so I can counteract the effects! Please-" The plea in his voice gripped your heart and something he once told you floated into your mind uninvited; 'I don't think I could remain calm if I lost you.'
"It was water" You assure him. He looses a deep sigh of relief as the panic begins to subside at the realization that he hadn't poisoned you, and is suddenly aware of how fast his heart is beating. He has to stop himself from hugging you, realizing with new worry that you still looked like you were in pain.
"Then what...?" He searches your face for answers.
"I'll be okay in a few minutes... I'm just stuck"
"..." He blinks a few times, "Stuck?"
"It hurts... I can't move" You try to breathe an explanation. He looks so worried that you try to move again to show him you're alright, but it's too soon. You wince and freeze again with a small whine, failing to make him feel any better as you'd intended to.
His expression shifts from worry to sadness. "I might be able to help. If you'd like, I could offer a temporary magical solution?" He asks.
"Please"
One word from you and his heart skips a beat. He rolls up his sleeves and moves to stand at your side where he can reach behind you. He rests a large hand on your back, eyes never leaving your face, and you feel something soothing and cool move through your muscles, relaxing them and easing the pain. Soon you're able to stand again without supporting yourself on the counter.
"Feeling any better?" He asks, still looking concerned.
You look into his eyes, "So much better. Thank you," You look down at the floor, "The glass! I'm sorry..." You sigh, looking for something to clean it up with.
He chuckles, "I don't give a damn about the glass, MC" with a wave of his hand the liquid evaporates and the shards dissolve into a glittering dust that is carried away on an otherwise imperceptible breeze.
You give a somewhat embarrassed smile, "And... I'm sorry I scared you"
It's his turn to look embarrassed, "No" He shakes his head, "I'm just happy you're alright. I don't know how I'd live with myself if I'd... If I'd lost you like that," 'If I'd killed you,' he's unable to even vocalize the fear that had opened a yawning hole in his heart just moments ago.
He sets his experiment aside and the two of you spend the rest of the night together enjoying each others' company.
Simeon
Luke had suggested another exchange student sleepover at Purgatory Hall, no demons allowed!
The four of you always had such fun with these sleepovers, playing games, baking, watching movies, and just spending time together that it became something of a regular thing. It was almost a tradition. Simeon loved the way you played with Luke, how your smile lit up the room, and just getting to spend time with you. Though it was rarely time spent alone together, he still cherished it and would often find ways to get closer to you; holding your hand under the table, partnering with you in a game, leaning against you as the two of you giggled at a funny movie, sleeping next to you on the common room floor when it was time to go to bed.
It was long since lights out, and though you and Simeon stayed up talking well past the time when the others had fallen asleep, you'd both since gone quiet and you assumed that he'd drifted off as well.
You moved to get more comfortable, and a surge of pain caught you by surprise, a quiet moan escaping your lips as you froze, half held up by one elbow.
"MC...?" Simeon's voice in the dark followed by the sound of rustling fabric as you sense him moving closer to you "Are you alright?" He whispers. You can feel his breath on your skin. You nod, both pairs of eyes having long since adjusted to the dark.
"I'm stuck" You whisper back, pain evident in your voice even at such a low volume, "It hurts to move...!" Even in the dark you can see the look of concern on his handsome face, and he can see the tears brimming in your eyes. He slides even closer to you until you're hip to hip.
You look up into his eyes as he leans over you, "Here," He slips an arm under you to support your weight and holds you, "Relax, I've got you" He says, hair falling into his face as he looks down at you in his arms. His normally cheerful face is uncharacteristically serious.
Humans are fragile, mortal creatures with short lives. He knows this, he's always known this but... This is perhaps the first time that you're mortality has really hit him. And it hits him hard.
His wings appear behind him, and wrap around the two of you. They radiate warmth as he tries to embrace you with his whole being, but they also serve to further remind him of the distance between the two of you. How different he is from you. The rules he's supposed to follow, though their rules were never going to stop him. He can't help but feel angry at the unfairness of it all for a moment.
He'd always thought he'd understood why the brothers fell for their sister, but in this moment everything became so much clearer, and now he felt like he understood Lilith too. Why she risked her life and fell to help a sick human. And he realized, that if he'd known then what he knew now, he happily would have fought and fallen for her too. Seeing you so fragile, in his arms, he vows to himself to protect you no matter what it would cost him.
The two of you stay wrapped in his wings in silence for a long time. Even after the pain subsides, he can't bring himself to let you go. You reach up to caress his face, and he leans his cheek into your palm, allowing your touch to soothe his worries away. Eventually the two of you fall asleep wrapped up in each other.
Luke and Solomon are surprised at the sight the next morning; You curled against Simeon's chest, and Simeon's wings still wrapped around the two of you. They both secretly snap pictures, and their excited 'Awwww!'s and teasing eventually wake the both of you.

Owl House Fanfic - Can't Hurt Her
Tumblr media
"Ha-ha! Not fast enough Luz-er!"
"Give it back!"
Luz's cries fell on deaf ears as the large jock she'd been running at  tossed her Azura novel over her head and into the waiting arms of the cheerleader standing at the other end of the hall. Around them, a crowd of students laughed as Luz turned around and raced towards the cheerleader.
The whole mess had started just a few minutes ago. Luz had been walking through the halls,  her face deep in the latest Good Witch Azura book. She'd saved up for a month to get the special edition with the maps of Azura's home and exclusive wraparound cover art. Unfortunately, Luz had been so wrapped up in reading that she hadn't been paying attention to where she was walking and accidentally bumped into someone, causing her to fall to the ground. She looked up and, to her horror, saw that the person she’d walked into was Allison Greer.  Head cheerleader, most popular girl in school, and person who delighted in picking on her at every opportunity. Behind her was her usual entourage of jocks, cheerleaders, and other assorted cool kids.
Allison gave Luz her usual “your existence is bothering me” glare. “Watch where you’re going, Noceda.”
Hoping to avoid yet  another humiliating encounter with the girl, Luz muttered out an apology and quickly scrambled to pick up her things that had fallen to the floor. But before she could pick up her new Azura book, Allison snatched it up.
"Hey!"
Allison flipped open the book and rifled through the pages. "Jeeze, is this the kind of nerdy junk you’re always looking at?” In an overly dramatic and sarcastic tone she recited “Azura swept Hecate into her arms, her trembling fingers sweeping the hair out of Hecate’s face so that she could see her deep blue eyes. 'Oh Hecate! I’m so glad that you’re alright! I couldn’t bear to imagine life without you!' Allison and her friends all laughed. “Really riveting.”
Luz sighed, used to this kind of thing by now. “Can I just have it back please?”
Unfortunately for Luz, Allison’s face got the smirk she always had when she was about to do something mean.
“Aw but I’m not done reading it. Although, it might be easier without this lame cover.” Allison used her manicured nails to begin scratching the cover off the book.
Luz panicked. “Stop!” She ran at Allison to try and take her book back but Allison noticed and threw the book over to one of the jocks near her causing Luz to turn around and go towards him instead.
This led to the humiliating game of back and forth Luz was currently engaged in. The crowd had gathered after a few minutes to indulge in her embarrassment.
After  charging the jock once more, only for him to chuck the book to Allison, Luz finally stopped in the middle area between them and cried to the cheerleader. “Please! Just give me my book back.”
Allison looked at her for a moment before sighing. “Fine.”
Luz’s chest filled with glee. She ignored the sound of the crowd groaning in disappointment and walked straight to Allison, her hands outstretched. “Thank you!”
But, rather than return the book to Luz, Allison once again gave her her signature evil smirk. Her eyes then locked on to something behind her.
“You know Noceda, I’ve got to admit. After only reading a few pages of this lame book, it seems like garbage. So...I’d say it belongs in the trash!”
With one last strong throw, Allison hurled the book into an arc in the air until it landed into an open garbage can.
Luz cried out in shock, “No!” She bolted to the trashcan and hurled herself halfway into it,  clawing through the trash to find her lost novel. After a few seconds, her hand found the books spine. But before she could pull herself out, she felt someone grab hold of her legs, lift them up, and stuffing her fully into the trash can before putting the lid on top of the can, leaving Luz surrounded by stink and trash.
Even from inside the can Luz could hear the rest of the students laughing at her.
"Well, that's two pieces of garbage that got thrown away." She heard Allison say.
                                                                 __
Luz trudged down the street, garbage juice soaked into her clothes and tears running down her face.
After managing to pull herself out of the garbage, Luz had unfortunately run into the school principal. She'd tried to explain what had happened with Allison but, as usual, he didn't believe her and assumed Luz had gone dumpster diving to look for elves or something else strange she usually did.  So he'd sent her home to change out of her dirty, smelly clothes. And worst of all, her brand new Azura book was ruined!
Beneath the sadness, humiliation, and pain Luz had stored up from today, one other emotion bubbled to the top.
Rage.
She couldn't do this anymore. She'd tried hard to ignore the bullying and just make the best of her school days but this was the last straw. She was going to call her mom, tell her what happened and she'd…..do something. Tell the principal to believe her? Pull her out of school? She didn't know. All Luz knew was that she couldn't keep pretending things were okay at school. She had to come clean.
Soon, Luz arrived at her house. She unlocked and opened the door only for her eyes to widen in shock at the sight of her mom sitting asleep upright on the couch, her head laid back and drool leaking from her mouth.
Luz walked over and gently shook her mother's arm. "Mamá?
Camila immediately shot awake and blinked tiredly around her before noticing Luz. "Whah!? Oh, ugh, I'm sorry Mija."
"Are you okay? What are you doing home so early?"
"Oh, I'm just tired. I've been working so much this week that I've barely gotten any sleep. " Camila stood up from the couch and yawned before slouching over. "And after I accidentally brought a doctor a baked potatoe instead if the replacement spleen he needed he may have suggested I go home and get some rest.
Luz let out a small chuckle but then actually noticed how worn out her mother was. There were heavy bags under her eyes, her whole body sagged with exhaustion. Even her voice sounded haggard and weary.
"Mamá, are you sure you're okay?" Luz asked worriedly.
"Si, Si, I'm fine. But, what are you doing home so early?" Camila rubbed her eyes then looked at Luz again. She then seemed to notice the stains on her clothes. "What happened?" She then sniffed the air, cringed and held her nose. "And why do you smell so bad?"
Luz suddenly remembered what had happened and clenched her fists. This was perfect. She'd been planning to just call her mom at work but now she could tell her to her face-
And make her have to deal with even more.
That took the wind out of Luz's sails. She once again looked at her mother and took in her still lingering signs of exhaustion.
Her mamá had already been pushing herself so hard at work to bring home money and keep a roof over their heads. And now Luz was going to make her have to deal with her problems too?
Luz sighed internally and plastered a sheepish smile onto her face.
"Oh that. I, uh, dropped my new Azura book into the trash so I went into the trashcan to get it back."
Camila groaned. "Luz, I've told you before. You can't go rummaging through the garbage! Now look at you. You got your school clothes ruined. "
Luz laughed weakly, struggling to keep her false grin. "Heh, heh, sorry mom. I just...couldn't help myself. You know how I am."

Kiss Your Wounds
Kyle O’reilly x Reader
Rating: E
Word count: 2,278 (yikes!)
Warnings: angst, cursing, blood
Summary: after a horrible situation between Kyle and Adam, Kyle confesses something to the Reader.
This is the first time i post something like this in ages, i apologize with the grammar, English isn’t my first language, hope y’all like it.
I’ve been friends with Kyle for a long time, but that is just that we’ve been friends, neither he nor I have taken another step and, it’s because he already has someone else.
I was always afraid to confess how I felt, long before his relationship with Chrissy began, although there were times when I was able to confess to him and even he seemed to feel the same, but in the end, it was not like that or at least I didn't let it happen.
Between Adam and Kyle the tension has grown for a long time, it was difficult to explain but for some time now the great bond of friendship has broken little by little, they started with little jokes that escalated to tensions, then they were cursing each other, and finally we got to the situation in which we found ourselves; kyle and adam hitting each other outside a bar, while Roddy and Bobby tried to separate them, sadly taking quite a few punches.
"guys, enough" Roddy yelled, people came closer and closer to see what was happening.
"Adam, stop it, Kyle let him go" I screamed as I could and in the distance I could hear someone calling the police.
"guys, stop, stop now, the police are coming" just at that moment, maybe destiny?, Roddy and Bobby could finally separate them.
All of this was too much, the tension, the people making a circle making the space smaller, the anger in the air grow stronger. Suddenly sirens are heard and the blue and red lights are seen closer to us, part of the audience that Kyle and Adam gathered began to disperse.
"Ok people there’s nothing else to see" said a police officer, the remaining people began to leave "you two are coming with us".
"sir, wait" I interfered "they already stopped, besides I think this will not happen again, right?" I looked at both of them, but honestly I doubt this will end here.
"I will if he apologizes," Adam said, then he spit out some blood from his mouth.
"Me? apologize? why would I have to apologize if the one who’s been acting like an asshole for all these years is you " I saw Kyle's knuckles turned white, trying to contain his anger.
"You're an idiot O’reilly" it all went so fast, we didn't realize that Adam managed to get free of Roddy, throwing himself at Kyle and punching him, causing his lower lip to bust and begin to bleed.
"ADAM NO" Roddy, Bobby and I yelled at the same time.
"Ok enough, the two of you are coming with us" as much as we tried to do something, we couldn't, Adam was being handcuffed and Kyle was already in the back of the police car.
"Y/N Roddy and I will get ahead to the station, we’ll see what we can do so this situation doesn’t get worse".
"Here, take my car and meet us there, try to call Britt and Chrissy, we'll see you at the station" Roddy hands me his keys and they cross the street so they can leave in Bobby's car.
Calling Britt wouldn't be difficult, the difficult thing would be calling Chrissy. The two of us don’t have the best relationship, although we treat each other with respect and greet each other if necessary, we are not friends and I doubt that in the future we’ll be, I thought that Chrissy has noticed the way I feel for Kyle and that’s why she doesn't like me. But it wasn’t time to think about our "rivalry", it was time to get Kyle and Adam out of the situation they got into.
After talking calmly as possible with Britt and explaining what happened and where were I was going, I started to call Chrissy, she didn’t answer and I had already lost count of how many times I called her.
"Hey Chrissy, this is ____, look Adam and Kyle argued and it got a little bit violent, now we are on our way to the police station, please communicate with any of us as soon as possible" I said after her voicemail was heard—for the thousandth time—.
Once I parked the car I entered the station as quickly as possible, meeting Britt, Roddy and Bobby, Britt approached me giving me a warm hug.
"Where’s Chrissy?" Britt asked
"I don't know, I called her many times and she never answered, I left her a message anyway"
"Adam doesn’t come out of this alive, I have talked to him so many times, this stupid fight with Kyle has already gone too far" Britt sat in one of the reception chairs, with her hands she covered her face trying to contain the frustration and tears due to the situation we were in.
"I really want to understand how it all started, it was so sudden that I can’t connect the dots, for years we’ve been fine and now this thing in the bar, I don't know what caused it" I sat next to her while hugging her to calm her down a bit.
After a long wait, we were able to get Kyle and Adam out — all of us had to pay the fees that were given to them — they both looked bad, bruises scratches all over their faces and I imagine part of their arms and torso.
"Well, Adam and I are leaving, thank you guys very much, believe me if it was up to me he stayed here" Britt said, provoking a small laugh between us — but not from Kyle and Adam—.
"Well, I think we’ll have to talk about this" said Bobby "but not now, we are tired, it’s best to leave it for later".
"Ah Y/N, your car is in the parking lot of the bar, take mine and tomorrow after training I’ll take you for it" said Roddy "will you take Kyle to his house?" He asks, I nod with a little smile, we say goodbye and everyone goes their own way.
“Let’s go” I said
As I could, I took Kyle to the car, he slowly sat in the passenger seat letting out occasional groans of pain. I started the car, the sound of the engine was the only thing that could be heard, I didn't know what to say and the truth was I didn’t know if there was anything to say, until he spoke.
"Did you call Chrissy?" Sure, there was no other reason why he would talk to me, not even an apology for the scene they both made, which was fair and they owed us.
"Yes, but she didn't answer," I replied coldly, making him understand that I didn't want to talk to him and I started driving.
The drive home was awkward and annoying, I wanted so badly to tell him how angry I was, how embarrassing it was for us to go to the station for a stupid fight that we didn't even know — or at least I didn’t— why it started. But my sadness and anger was bigger than the most probable thing is that the one who’ll end up crying would be me and not him, I was so deep in my thoughts that I had not realized that we arrived, I drove so naturally to his house, as I used to do before.
As I could, I took him inside laying him on his bed, little gasps of pain came out of him. Surely tomorrow he’ll have to go to the hospital to be checked, but that was no longer my duty (even if I wanted to be).
"Well, see you ..." I could feel his hand taking mine causing my heart to beat fast.
"No, please stay, at least until I fall asleep" his face reflected pain, I don't know if it was because his body was agonizing from the punches or it was because if I left he would be alone.
"Kyle don’t ... I ... I can't" I wanted to leave but again he took me by the hand a little harder, surely the effort hurt because I could hear his groan of pain.
"Please ... just until ... don't go" I watched a few tears come out of his eyes.
"I'm an idiot, I shouldn't have acted like that, it's just that all these years, this accumulated frustration, I couldn't contain it anymore" I sat next to him.
"Adam has always been the best, the one who has everything, but Bobby, Roddy and I are always in second place and he really seem to not care, nothing matters, as long as he continues as spotlight everything is fine" Kyle tries to sit down whining with pain, I help him by putting a pillow so that it doesn't hurt anymore.
"At the bar he said something" I looked at him confused as he set his look somewhere in his room.
“What did he say?”
"He said that I was a coward and that the clear example of that was you"
"Me? and what do I have to do with that? " I asked confused, but my heart and mind knowing what he might mean.
"I ... for many years I have loved you, but Adam is right, I was a coward and I never told you, I fear rejection" he took a pause "I was close to telling you, but then I saw that you and Marcel ... well"
"Between Marcel and me there was nothing" thanks to the darkness of the room Kyle could not see that my eyes began to water when I remembered the asshole of Marcel and the pain he caused to me in such a short time.
"Well, I thought so, that's why I started dating Chrissy, I didn't want to ruin anything for you, plus I didn't know if you'd correspond me"
"Kyle ... I felt the same ... shit who am I lying to, I still do it" I stood up I couldn't see to his face, I wanted to cry, but I didn't want him to see it, I stood in front of his window trying to distract myself with anything.
I feel one of his hands rests on my back while with his thumb caresses me tenderly, with his other hand takes my chin to turn my face, I put a little strength but in the end I turn and look at him, from his cheek rolls few tears, he brings his forehead to mine and I close my eyes, so I can't see him and I can avoid kissing him. I can't do it, he is with Chrissy I can't do this to her, she doesn't deserve it, it doesn't matter that we don't get along, no one deserves to go through something like this, I can't do this, I want to run and forget about everything, especially Kyle.
"Look at me" with his thumb he wipes my tears.
"No, please don't" I squeeze my eyes trying to hold back all the tears that wanted to come out.
"Y/N look at me" even if I resist I slowly open my eyes, seeing him a little blurred because of the tears that accumulated in my eyes.
"Kyle"
"Yes?"
“I love you..."
"I…"
"Let me finish" I interrupt him
"I love you, you don't know how much I do it, but this is not right, I can't do this to Chrissy, I know that we don't get along, but she doesn't deserve this" I walk away from him and I sit on his bed again, covering my face with my hands.
"Chrissy, you worry about her too much, when she didn't even care about what happened."
"So? that's not on me, I can't do this to her, I couldn't live with this Kyle "
At this point it was impossible to contain my tears and I began to cry, I didn’t think this moment would be so painful. I can feel how Kyle gets on his knees and his hands remove mine from my face, I look up to see him in the eyes and the pain in my heart intensifies more.
"Stay with me, hold me until this pain is gone, don't leave me" my heart breaks again, I can see the pain and sincerity in his eyes.
"I would kiss each of your wounds ... but" I let out a sigh "you are not mine and you’ll never be" I caressed his face with my thumb and brought our foreheads together again, the only thing that could be heard in the whole house was our sobs.
"Kyle, Kyle, are you here?" We separated abruptly, we recognized that voice immediately, Chrissy was home.
"No one answered me until Britt ..." Chrissy froze as she looked at the two of us sitting on the bed, far enough apart so she didn't suspect anything.
"Oh, hi Y/N I didn't know you’d be here" the atmosphere in the room had become tense and uncomfortable, I got up quickly.
"Yeah, mmm I just brought Kyle home, I'll leave you guys alone" Chrissy stepped aside so I could leave the room but Kyle spoke.
"Y/N" I turned to see him and i tried so hard to not cry anymore "thank you" he smiled at me.
"It was nothing, bye, take care Chrissy"
I got out of there as fast as possible, getting in the car and turning it on, on my way back home the best thing I could do was cry, I loved Kyle more than I loved someone in my life, I had never felt something like this before, but as I told him he’s not mine and I think he’ll never be.

plot: y/n carries Kobo to the bedroom after falling asleep on the couch.
genre: fluff, romance with a touch of comedy? idk ;w;
word count: 1,549
a/n: congratulations to our winner for the one-shot category of your giveaway! i hope you're gonna like this one, chloe!
what other way to best celebrate the end of the week? of course, a good 'ol movie night was one of the best ways to celebrate, especially if it was with your lover.
a coffee table filled with an array of dishes that you both whipped up from scratch, a couch filled with pillows and blankets, and lastly, a tv screen showing the new movie that you guys have been planning on watching.
"oppa, how many movies are we gonna watch tonight?" you ask while munching on the cheese katsu kobo cooked. "it depends... since someone might fall asleep while watching."
the recognizable teasing lilt of his voice had you scoffing, already known for a fact that it would be him who's going to fall asleep first. "you sure you're not talking about yourself, bub?"
a hearty laugh slips past his lips as he sways his body towards your side, slightly bumping onto you. "there's no one else in this room, baby." he whispers with eyes boring right into yours thus resulting in your cheeks heating up, and you pushing him away before placing the whole katsu in your mouth. "shut up."
"c'mon, we both know it's you who'd fall asleep first." he states as a matter of fact while taking a piece of tissue in his hand, hand going up to your chin to have you face him. "aigoo, my yeobo sure is still an aegi," he adds in and proceeds to wipe your mouth.
you watch him focus on your lips and was about to speak up when he decides to place a kiss on the corner of your lips. "ah!"
he chuckles before transferring his attention back to the food in front of him. "eat up, it's nice seeing you all full and cheeks round."
"why do you even like seeing my cheeks so round?"
if there was one thing kobo would love to play with or even nibble on... it was your cheeks. "it's adorable!" he beams before giving you a side glance. "and besides, your smile's really cute you know."
no matter how long you've guys have been together, he never fails to catch you off-guard. "here, eat up." you quickly divert the subject by quickly placing a piece of cheese katsu on his bowl.
a swift pinch on your cheek, kobo didn't think twice and proceeds to enjoy his meal. it stayed like this for quite some time until the two of you finished up your meals.
"i'll do the dishes," you say while pilling up all the plates and bowls. "no, no. i can't let you do it alone-"
you shake your head with a smile before squatting down to meet his eyes, "you've worked hard enough today, just sit back and relax alright? i've got this and besides, i need to take a quick shower."
sighing in defeat, kobo nods his head and leans in to give you a peck on the lips. "i love you," he says without looking away from you. "i love you too."
you bring all of the bowls, plates, and cups to the sink and begin washing all of them. from time to time, you'd look towards the living room to see what kobo was doing and one thing's for sure, you can see sleep finally dancing its way to his lids.
kobo has always been the type to deny that he isn't sleepy and that he's not tired but you know him too well. quickly drying up everything, you place them back to your cupboards and plate rack.
one last look at your beau, you couldn't help but giggle at the sight of him hugging ppippi while watching intently on the screen - frozen 2 was playing and he would casually sing along with elsa.
"don't fall asleep while i'm away, baby~" you coo as you stop by the couch, only to earn a furrowed brow from him. "i'm not a baby!"
raising a brow in response, you cock your head to the side - acting all confused and innocent. "then what are you?"
"i'm a manly man, of course!" he confidently beams, puffing up his chest with a cheeky grin.
it was fun teasing kobo sometimes since you'd always get a reaction from him. "whatever floats your boat, baby, just make sure you don't fall asleep okay?"
he jokingly rolls his eyes before giving you a small "okay" before returning his attention back to olaf.
you go to your shared bathroom and proceed in having that hot shower you deserve. it was as if all of the stress and tiredness was washed off along with the suds. it doesn't really take you long to take a shower but staying for a couple more minutes than your usual shower time wouldn't hurt.
putting on kobo's mickey mouse pajamas, you let out a satisfied sigh before making your way back to the living room - only to be greeted by a sleeping kobo.
he's all curled up on the couch with ppippi in his arms and dambee by his head also all curled up. the sight was definitely something you'd be happy to see for the rest of your life but the thought of how to carry kobo to the bed is the only thing you can think of right now.
"how in the world can i transfer him from here," you pause... turning your head towards the bedroom to see how far you have to drag him. "to there?"
kobo... is definitely bigger than you and you know you'd be a clown if you deny it. gently putting ppippi away, you wave a hand right in front of his face to see if he'd react. there were no signs of him waking up anytime soon so you gently wrap his arms around your neck and your arms around his upper torso.
"i know you're gonna wake up but..." you whisper before pulling him off the couch, making sure his legs doesn't drop way too hard. stopping on your tracks to see if he's waking up, you heave out a sigh of relief when he continues to snore away with his lips slightly ajar, drool already forming on the corner of his mouth.
widening your base of support, you slowly make your way to the bedroom. arms already becoming sore, and your body slowly bending backward due to the weight of his body.
but all is well since you're just simply carrying his upper torso and letting his lower body get dragged on the floor... right?
you grit your teeth and let out a curse as you feel beads of sweat forming on your temples, "damn you and your beautiful, muscular body."
the distance between the living room and the bedroom was finally shortened. a couple more steps and dragging of your lover's body on the floor, you've finally got in your shared bedroom.
however, thanks to you and your clumsiness, you trip on your own feet and have the both of you flying to your bed. a loud "oomf-" slips past your lips as kobo's body gets all pressed upon yours.
the sound of him groaning had you whipping your head towards him, only to see his half-lidded eyes searching for yours. "ugh, what happened?"
"i carried you all over here but... oppa, c-can you get off of me for a sec?"
kobo looks down at your position and hurriedly gets off of you while muttering a couple of sorry's and are you okay's. finally, it's as if your soul left your body, you sink in on the mattress before letting your eyelids flutter shut.
"w-was i too heavy?" he innocently and worriedly asks while getting in bed with you. "what do you think, big boy?" you retaliate without looking at him as you try to catch your breath.
you'd be lying if carrying him all the way from the living room to the bedroom didn't drain the life out of you. it felt like a week's worth of working out!
the sound of the shuffling duvet had you looking up, only to see kobo positioning himself on your side with arms all ready to lift you up bridal style.
before you could even let out a protest, he effortlessly lifts you up - nothing compared to how you carried him- and positions you on your side of the bed.
"i'm sorry for having you carry me all the way here, [y/n]," he says as he snuggles close to you. "but you could just wake me up and tell me to bring myself here."
you nod your head before turning your body towards him, grabbing his arm and turning it into an arm pillow. "i didn't want to wake you up since i know you're tired but yeah..."
kobo hums and pulls you closer to him, an arm finding its way to your waist. "i don't mind but thanks for carrying all the way here, [y/n]." he waits for your response and runs his slender fingers through your locks, pressing his cheeks on top of your head.
quite some time passed and all he can hear from you was your soft breathing. a chuckle erupts from his chest as he slightly pulls away, only to see you fast asleep in his arms.
"good night, [y/n]."

Before reading, I want you to know that I don't use any names or Y/n's because I know many people don't really insert their names, they read it as Yin 😂 I also write in first person pov because I think it's easier to read and imagine yourself in that situation
Beads of sweat slowly rolled down my forehead as I pulled out a piece of paper from my sleeve. I knew that the exam would be hard, but I wasn't expecting it to be this detailed. Thank God my friend made me write it all on a small piece of paper. At least I will get a positive grade. Of course he made me do it, he passed the school with those. Thankfully, he didn't go to medicine school. If I ever ended up on his surgery table, I would die.
Three more minutes until the end and one more question unanswered. The teacher noticed me shifting in my seat, but she knew I always get good grades. She finally stopped looking at me and gave her attention to a group of boys trying to switch their papers. I glanced one more time at the piece of paper and put it back in my sleeve. Just as I finished the answer, the bell rang. Half of the class groaned, probably because they didn't manage to finish in time. I took my backpack and left the paper with my name on the main table.
"Good job! Honestly, your exams are always my favorite to grade. I'm really happy to have a student like you."
"Thank you, Mrs Johnson. See you on Monday."
Once I got outside I noticed the sky already getting dark. It was just 5 pm and winter was already doing it's job; the roads were wet and slippery from mixed rain and snow and it must've been under 0 Celsius. Usually I walk home because it's not far away, but my school uniform, rain and cold weather didn't go well together. I was just about to call my roommate when I felt car lights on me, followed by a familiar voice.
"I think quicker than you do." Wooyoung smiled as he opened the door. "Get in please I don't want to spend the next week taking care of an annoyingly picky roommate. I have plans to get drunk and do something stupid."
"You do stupid things anyway without drinking. So save the money and the time. And oh, save me from embarrassment." I get in the car sticking my tongue out at him. "Did you cook anything? I'm starving."
"No, of course. I slept the whole day." I look at him, hoping to see a smile on his face that would give me a sign that he's joking. "Don't look at me like that, I was tired from the night shift. I'll take you to McDonald's." he drove out of the school parking.
"I don't want trash, Wooyoung. I want food." I groaned. He told me that he would try cooking something, but it's been a week and he didn't do anything. "Please buy some pasta and tomato sauce I'll make something."
"Honestly, I really don't feel like waiting. And McDonald's is f**king awesome!" his hand reached out to turn on the radio. "How can you not love the little purple box full of 12 golden beauties?"
It did sound good, but we haven't eaten any "real" food for a month and my stomach started to ache. Living with Wooyoung has its bad and good sides, the bad sides mainly being his laziness and stubbornness. Speaking of stubbornness, of course he took the left turn towards McDonald's.
"What do you want?"
"What a polite way to ask me. You've loosened up I see." I frown at him. He rolls his eyes dramatically and turns towards me with his whole body.
"Your Highness, what do you wish to consume today?"
"That's just too much."
"What the h*ll do you want? I'm taking 3 burgers and fries and you aren't touching them." the brown haired boy points his finger towards my face. I squint my eyes at him, then bite his finger. "Crazy woman."
"Hello, may I take your order?"
"Hello, yes. I'd like a..."
***
"Is this place good enough for the Queen?" Wooyoung spoke with his mouth full of fries and ketchup. We sat on the roof of his car on a parking lot near a river. The place is good enough for the Queen.
"Eat before you speak, what's wrong with you?" I laugh at him, seeing that he spilled the ketchup on his t-shirt. "No girl will want you like this."
"To be honest I'm not interested right now." he replied immediately.
I'd lie if I said that my heart didn't sink a bit. Whoever said that boys and girls can't be friends was right. One side always catches feelings, big or small. In my case, I believe it's a small crush. He's the only boy I hang out with, so that must be why.
"Why?" I allow myself to ask.
"I had a little crush on a girl but I had to give it up." he kept stuffing his mouth with food, trying to avoid the conversation.
"And...?" I look at him expecting more. But he keeps his mouth shut and folds the paper of the burgers in his hands.
"Are you thirsty?" Wooyoung offers a can of soda, still looking at his fingers.
"Yes, thank you." he opens the can for me, first taking a sip himself, then giving the green beverage to me. I drink the whole can almost immediately.
"You could've said earlier that you were thirsty, I had water in the car." his tone visibly changed. He sounded more serious now, as if he just wanted to go home and lock himself in the room. "Want another one?" he reaches for another can.
"I think I have one more sip here." I throw my head back trying to drink every single drop of the refreshing juice. I slowly started to lean back, forgetting that I'm not in the chair but on the roof of the car. "Sh*t!" I curse as I almost fall on the rocky floor.
"Hey!" Wooyoung quickly reacts and grabs my hands, pulling me towards him. All the empty cans rolled down on the floor, making loud noises. "You good?" he asks, eyes on my face.
His hands felt so warm around mine. I really didn't want to let go. "I'm good." I pull away, trying to get down to collect the cans.
"Leave the d*mn cans there. You almost fell down. Do you see those rocks down there? What if you hit your head? What would I do?"
"I'd pay to get your car cleaned from my blood, Wooyoung." I laugh, but when I notice that his face didn't change, my smile drops. "What's wrong? Why isn't it funny when I say something like this?"
"Behind all these jokes you have to understand that you are very important to me and I have a soft spot for you. If anything happened to you my life would stop. I'm a serious man behind all my sarcastic jokes. Please watch yourself, because I can't do it all the time. It takes a second to turn a peaceful situation into a disaster."
I stare at him with my mouth a little open. I'm surprised at his words, I never heard him talk like this. I manage to say a sorry, turning my head away from him.
After a few seconds of silence, which seemed like hours, he got down and picked up all the cans, then offered me his hand. "Be careful." I put my hand in his, slowly getting down on the floor. "What dumbass even puts these rocks on the parking lot?" he picks up a few of them and pushes them away, leaving the bigger and heavier ones where they were.
"I think because they don't want someone else to have the spot." I watch as he tries to move a few more rocks. "Leave it, you're gonna hurt yourself. Let's just go back home, please?"
"Alright." he leaves the rocks and opens the door for me. Then he proceeds to enter the car himself. "But just for the record, I could've moved those rocks." his lips curved in a small smile. He can't help himself.
***
It suddenly became quiet in the house. Wooyoung layed on the sofa, watching the TV, and I sat on the floor behind the coffee table with my back leaning on the sofa.
"I'm a bit disappointed that we didn't take any photos." I pouted, scrolling down my Instagram feed. He didn't respond. I kept quiet for a few more minutes, then broke the silence again. "Do you think you could pick me up tomorrow from school again?" again, no answer.
I turn around towards him and see that his eyes are closed. He fell asleep while watching the TV. I took a blanket from my room and layed next to him under it. It's not my first time napping with him, but most of the time he refuses. He says that he is a kicker in his sleep and that he doesn't want to hurt me.
The sofa in our living room is quite small so I have to basically lay on Wooyoung. Just as I close my eyes, I feel his hand around my waist, bringing me even closer to him. Now my head was on his chest and I was surrounded by his scent and warmth. This must be what heaven feels like. Usually when we sleep like this together, it takes us a few hours to fall asleep. Mainly because he can't stop making jokes and I can't stop laughing. But this is different. It's calm. It's beautiful.
I couldn't tell if he was asleep or just pretending. He held me close and rubbed my back slowly. "Wooyoung?" I tried calling.
"Hm?" he responds sleepily.
"Are you okay?" I look up at him. His eye are still closed, but his fingers are still drawing tiny patterns on my waist and back.
"Mhm." again, I receive a short answer. When I try to move and give him some space so he can sleep peacefully, he opens his eyes to look at me. "Please don't move. I want to sleep like this." one of his hands moved my hair from both of our faces. "Please?" he asked, almost whispering.
I have never witnessed this side of Wooyoung. His voice was different, his movements were different, his eyes were different. This is the Wooyoung I wanted for myself, but couldn't have him. It took me a few longer seconds to realise that we are staring at each other, doing nothing but breathing quietly. Once his hot breath fell on my lips I couldn't help but close my eyes and sigh. Right now, I hoped for one thing to happen.
"Why can't I have you like this every day?" his soft voice whispered. I try to speak, but as soon as I move my lips, I feel something soft brushing against them. My breath stops and I force myself to open my eyes. He's looking down at my lips as if thinking if the next step is smart to do. I allow myself a moment of bravery and I put my hands on his chest, getting closer to him. "F**k it." he mutters, finally putting his hands on my cheeks and pressing his lips against mine.
His lips must've been the softest thing to exist on this planet. I tried to move, but my body was frozen. I couldn't do anything, just lay and enjoy the softness and the warmth of his lips. He pulled away for a second, trying to say something, but when he didn't succeed, he went back to the older position. Then, again, he pulls away.
"You are so sweet. You taste like I always imagined." the red cheeked boy whispers, brushing the tip of his nose against mine.
"More, please." I manage to say. My lips and throat are dry, my mind is going crazy, and my stomach is witnessing fireworks. Wooyoung smiles, still not letting go of my cheeks. "Please." I get impatient.
He leans in again, this time kissing me with more passion. It stopped being sweet and soft, now only one word existed in my mind: more. And he happily listened.

Can you make one where me and Buck have always been close seeing as we grew up together so I’d been with him though thick and thin, but little did he know the reason I was always by his side was cause I love him. Anyway when he sees Abby at first I’m just as shocked as him when he sees her and all the hurt feelings I had back when he was first with her, but when his face falls at her mention of a fiancé that all goes away and I try to hug him, but he kinda pushes me off telling me not to worry about him and get our job done. We then end up getting separated to go do the job in separate parts of the wreckage. When all is said and done I try to call him, but he doesn’t answer so I just go home. The next day I just decide to go over to his place {which is just down the hall from his} when he doesn’t answer the door I just use the key he gave me and decide to wait for him. Eventually he comes home, only to find me on his couch asleep. He ends up going to get ready for the party deciding to just give me a few minutes to get a little more sleep, so when he’s done getting ready he comes and crouch’s in front of the couch and wakes me up very sweetly. He then sits next to me after I sat up and we end up talking and he ends up telling me he talk to Abby who made him realize something. He then continues on and says that he’s in love with me. I then tell him sweetly that I am to then we lay back and cuddle for a while before I get up and he wines asking why I’m getting up and I remind him that we have a party to get to and he groans as I get to the door trying to get to my apartment to get ready and he try’s to convince me to stay, but I just keep walking and say no. I then get ready and we get to the party and everyone is happy to see us holding hands with a smile and Athena throws her hands up in the air saying “FINALLY you two,”

Love.
It was a strange word to associate with your life long best friend but it felt right. Something I truly feared was his rejection if I ever confessed to him because I only had eyes for him. Sure, other guys looked nice but something about Buck was different. Maybe it was the birthmark at his eyebrow, his sharp jaw, that beautiful smile, or his enticing, ocean blue eyes that held stories upon stories in them.
The day was going smooth as I sat on a barstool, overlooking Buck's shoulder at a pamphlet Eddie handed him for a children's summer camp. "Summer camp?" Buck questioned, his brows furrowed in confusion "It's all he can talk about" Eddie casually replied "Some of the other kids from school are going... It's only two weeks" I kept looking at the colorful paper before what Eddie had said finally came to me.
"Whoa, whoa. Two weeks away from home? Isn't Chris kinda young for that? I mean, what if something happens? What if he gets homesick" The concern in Buck's voice was clear but Eddie just kinda rolled his eyes with a small, annoyed sigh "I'm pretty sure I brought in the brochure so you guys can make me feel better about him going"
Chim lightly waved a wooden spoon at him before resuming his stirring "Clearly, you did not think that plan through to its logical conclusion." "I started going to sleepaway camp when I was 8. I loved it. Camp Weegeewagen.. Eedee-idee-odee-ooh-hoo... Looked forward to it every year" I lightly chuckled at Bobby, munching on a quick made sandwich, enjoying the playful group banter.
Tumblr media
I was in shock at the scene despite having being part of the LAFD as long as I have, crushed cars, debris and so much more as I secured my helmet onto my head while I hoped & prayed with all I got we could & would save everyone.
"Please, if you can just let me up into the car. Please! I've gotta get up there" The voice that spoke in a worried plea sounded familiar yet my mind worried not on that but the person infront of me who luckily wasn't seriously hurt, just a few cuts, bumps & bruises which gave me the smallest bit of relief.
"Wait, are you from the 118?" The woman asked as Eddie responded with a simple 'yeah'. "Abby?" I turned to look at Buck, seeing the look plastered on his face as the name he called registered my mind as I had an almost equally shocked look on my face. This definitely was not the proper situation to be meeting your best friend's ex in.
"Buck." Her voice was almost relieved but I could sense that bit of surprise & maybe even pain, they never had a proper breakup so I understood. "Wait, you were on the train." She just nodded "Yeah, I've gotta-" Buck quickly grabbed her arm, pulling her away "We need to get you checked out" She carefully pulled herself away, looking back to the train car sticking straight in the air "No, no, no. I'm fine. I need to get up there"
"Abby--what? No, that's crazy! No, no, Abby, Abby, stop!" I swallowed back nervously, my eyes darting to Eddie for reassurance before back to the other two "I'm trying to find somebody!" She hoarsely screamed, panic more then evident all over her. I walk up, gently resting my hand on her shoulder "Okay. Well, just tell us who. We're going-" She turned to me "My fiance!" I looked from her to Buck with my brows knitted tightly together.
"He fell asleep and I went to the bar car." Her voice was break more & more with each word as Eddie gave her soft, calming eyes "Okay. Can you give us a description?" She nodded, sniffling through her tears, pulling her phone out as the three of us look at it, studying it to remember the man but Buck seemed more focus on how happy she looked & the thoughts that were more then likely running in his mind were hurting him more then he'd ever admit.
Tumblr media
The climb up the car was an exercise with the back board I was carrying as we ended up using the seats as leverage. Black tag. Not our first on this job but it still hurt regardless, knowing we weren't quick enough to save these poor people. "Sam! Sam, can you hear me?" I grunted, hoisting myself up to basically stand on the seat back as he groaned, barely lifting his head "Hey Sam. How you feeling?" I sighed, a cut just below his hair line but nothing bad from what I could physically see.
"It hurts" His voice was tired & small "Yeah." I looked around, looking at Eddie before looking back to Sam "Hurts when I breathe. Please. My fiancee.. She's on the train" I quietly sighed to myself "Yeah, hey, hey. She's okay" I looked at him, bringing my walkie up "Cap, I got a passenger pinned up here. Looks like the support bean from the observation deck broke through the floor. Need you to send up the jaws okay?"
Bobby quickly responded as I carefully lift Sam's head up, pressing my feet into the back of the seat to keep myself from slipping. I can only hope we all get out of here alive with these people. The train shifting truthfully scared me as I clung to the seat with dear life, losing my footing for a moment, letting out a heavy breath that was trapped in my chest.
Tumblr media
To have Bobby here made me feel much better about this, some more, needed hope. "He's got a collapsed lung from the blunt force. O2 levels are dropping. I can relieve the pressure, but we gotta move this beam off him" I looked at Bobby, then to Eddie and back at Buck as the four of us were all buddied together tightly in the car, not at the moment realizing their were others here.
"It's not moving Cap, too heavy" He nodded "Alright, let's try the hydraulic ram." It was normal but scary as we all carefully watched Bobby until a scream of utter pain alerted us as I carefully spun around to go look for the girl who was only about a seat or two down. I grabbed the back, tossing it off to the side & her visible physically injuries were horrible "How you doing?" I pursed my lips together, bringing my med bag up beside me with a slight grunt.
"My side really hurts" I nodded, moving my light in area of her side, carefully lifting up her shirt to find what I could only make out to be a bone broken out of the skin & despite the things I've seen, certain things like this made my stomach crawl. "Force of the crash pushed her leg up into her torso"What?" She said tiredly but with heavy panic while very weakly trying to move the beam off her. "This is gonna hurt a little bit" Eddie commented, carefully slipping her boot off "There's still a pulse in her foot. Blood's still pumping to it"
"Hey what's going on?" Buck questioned as we all were so tired, so out of it. "The beam is trapping both of them. If we take the pressure off either one of them, the other with probably die" I sighed, replying to Buck in hope both could be save as I fidgeted with my gloved fingers. Let everyone get out alive.
Tumblr media
I watched, my brows furrowed with pure anger and sadness. There has to be a way to save them both, I refuse to let another person die on my hands. "There has to be a way. I can't let this girl die on us & watch the pain on her family's face!" I was mentally fighting myself as I sighed, the tears threatening to fall at any given moment, Bobby giving me a look of pity "(Y/N).... you gotta accept these losses at some-" I groan "I know I have to but I can't! It never gets easier Bobby!"
Buck turned to us with bright eyes "I have an idea that could save them both." I quickly turned to Buck & for a quick moment, I saw my bright, happy & adventurous life-long friend as I smiled, my heart gripping the love it held for him.
Bobby seemed to agree to the plan after Buck explained it even though they bickered over it & radioed for needed supplies to be readied, there was hope even though small, it was there. "We're almost there Sam. Okay? You'll see your fiancee and kids.." He just tiredly nodded as the train shifted again, nearly standing up straight, sending aggressive amounts of fear through my veins.
I kept myself by Sam to hold him up as the pressure of the seat crushing him slowly came off with the lucky help of the jaws, the relief on Sam's face made me happy as we helped him towards Buck. We did it, we saved them both as I let out a heavy, shaky breath, forcing myself to hold back tears as me & Eddie both carefully slipped out the hole Buck made. At least something good came from today & it was something to be the smallest bit happy about.
Tumblr media
The hazy night glow casted through the curtains as I tiredly groaned, not wanting to do anything but forget about last nights job. I looked around Buck's cozy apartment as I shuffled over to the couch, tossing my bag off to the side as I lay down with a heavy groan, feeling the many pins & needles all over my body as I stared at the ceiling for what seemed like forever until I finally passed out, only awake enough to hear Buck walk in.
[BUCK]
Yesterday was hell, the wreck, Abby, everything. I stared at my door for a moment, seeing the doormat disturbed a bit as I just lightly chuckled, knowing (Y/N) was here as I quietly open the door & just as quietly shut it behind me, placing my things on the kitchen counter.
I made way towards my couch to sit but to see (Y/N)'s sleeping form made me smile & in that moment, it had come to me. All the girls I dated before was just for me to forget the way I felt for her, my life long best friend. I sighed lightly before heading off to shower, letting her get the more then needed rest, getting ready for the upcoming party at Athena & Bobby's place.
I lingered in the shower a moment longer, staring at the steamed shower walls before shutting the water off & dressing up as I'd usually do before going back over to (Y/N), watching with a smile on my lips that spread from ear-to-ear before crouching down to get a more straight foward look at her face.
"Hey, gotta wake up hun. We got somewhere to be" I kept my voice soft, pushing hair from her face & I swear I felt my heart skip a beat. "I know you want beauty sleep to maintain your own beauty, which I understand. There's something kinda important I wanna ask you and I don't wanna wait anymore" She stirred slightly, her eyes fluttering open then shut a few times before she finally woke up.
She looked at me, holding her hand up infront of her to keep the sun out of her eyes before she carefully sat up & stretched "What's up?" She slumped over as I sat aside with with a heavy sigh, sliding a cup of coffee over. "I talked to Abby today" She looked at me, seeming to already know where this was going. "I wanted to clear things up about us, about why she never bothered to talk to me while she was gone"
My leg started bouncing at her gentle hand rubbed small circles on my upper back, laying her head on my shoulder "I'm sure she meant to Buck.." I sighed "That's the thing (Y/N), even though she explained everything, I still don't understand. Did I do something wrong? Did I rush things? Was she with me out of just pity?" I heavily sighed, wiping my hands over my face "I can't understand it at all..."
She looked at me with soft eyes that held billions of stars & galaxies in them, if only I could look into them forever. "It isn't your fault Buck, it never was. All relationships can feel rushed at any given point. Don't blame yourself for this. You helped her through a great deal of pain when she lost her mom. You're an amazing man Buck, I know cause I grew up with you & Maddie my whole life"
I looked at her & just smiled "I'm..." I had to process everything "I'm in love with you (Y/N) and- and I get if you-" She laughed lightly, her hand holding my cheek gently "I'm in love with you too Buck. I have been for as long as I can remember. I laugh happy as I wrap my arms around her & laying back on the couch & right there, I had all I ever wanted.
It was calm, nothing but pure happiness between the two of us as I admired the person I held so close to me & this is all that mattered, I finally had her, my favorite person to ever exist & maybe, just maybe, this is what true love felt like when you didn't hide from it.
[YOU]
"Hey, I need to get ready & we gotta get going for that party" Buck groaned "But we could have more fun if we just stayed here and kept cuddling" I smile, drawing small circles on his shirt "While I do agree, I don't think we'd hear the end of it from Bobby" He whines "Please? I don't wanna go anymore, this is better" I sat up, shaking my head "No Buck. I'm not getting my ear chewed out" He pouts, his eyes sad but in a joking manner, dropping his hands. "Fine but you're making this up when we get back" I nod, putting my hands up "I will do just that okay? I promise. Pinky promise?" He smiles as our pinkies interlock before I finally stood up, changing in the bathroom.
Tumblr media
We parked outside of Athena & Bobby's place as Buck rushed from the drivers side to me, opening the door & showing off his big goofy smile which made my heart swoon. I took his hand, sliding out of the jeep as he locked it up & the two of us made our way inside, hand in hand, smiles painting both of our faces.
We only stopped when we noticed everyone looking at us with smiles as Athena shuffled foward, her smile big & proud as her hands raised up in the air & dropped down with a happy sigh "Finally you two! We've all been wondering when this would happen" I smile, my cheeks burning red as I hide my face in Buck's shoulder as we stepped down the steps & the night went on with smiles & laughter. Most of all, I was finally in love with the right person. My person, Evan Buckley.

Maybe, Just Maybe
Someone To Stay Ch. 5
Spencer x Fem reader
Content/Trigger warnings: a little bit of body image issues
Tumblr media
Spencer POV:
It's been a few days since I hung out with Y/N. I'm truly glad she was the one I got to go with. I feel like we might have a lot in common, and she's easy to be around. For a little while, I almost forgot about everything that happened...about her. The next day the thoughts came sinking slowly back in, but they don't feel as debilitating as they used to. Maybe Derek was right, getting out, being around people, it may not be easy for me but it may be what's best. Maybe I should try to get out of my comfort zone a little. I want to get better, I do. But being social, well it's never been my strong suit, and to try to do it now, when I feel so emotionally vulnerable, it's particularly difficult.
Other than the dinner at Rossi's, my friends haven't been inviting me out as much as they used to. I'm pretty sure they got tired of the inevitable rejection. I want them to see that I'm trying, that I want to do better, to get better. Maybe if I reach out first...
I grab my phone to call JJ. She's like a sister to me, and she's been the best at trying to understand what I've been going through.
"Hey, Spence!" She sounds surprised but glad to hear from me.
"Hey, I was uhh.. well I was just wondering..." my words trail off as I find myself suddenly losing confidence in my endeavor.
"Yeah, what's up?" Her voice has a calming effect on me.
"Well...I was wondering if the team had any plans this weekend? To hang out or...I don't know."
"Actually we don't. But we should! I think I have an idea. There's something I've been wanting us all to do. There's a Lakehouse up for rent, and I think it would be fun if we all went up for a weekend. What do you think?"
I'm not very into outdoor activities, but the idea of reading on a porch by the lake sounds incredibly calming and therapeutic. It also sounds like a good time for me to start hanging out with the team again.
"You know, that actually sounds perfect." I smile at the thought of the much needed weekend getaway.
"Perfect! I'll text the group! Thanks for giving me the nudge to set this up, Spence. It'll be fun."
I hang up and shortly after I hear the familiar ding from the group message chat.
BAU Baddies😎
JJ💖: Hey guys! Who would be down for renting a Lakehouse this next weekend?
DM🍫⚡️: Hell yeah! @ahotchner you know what that means?? Jet Skis baby!! 😜🤙🏻
AB🌹: How fun! Count me in.
DR🇮🇹: I'll cook! I have a new recipe we can try out. I think you'll all love it👌🏻
PG🦄👸🏼: @jjereau @ablake We HAVE to go swimsuit shopping first, ladies! This is a non-negotiable.
AH: Sounds fun, are we bringing the kids this time?
JJ💖: Actually, Will is staying home and he'll be watching Henry. Jack can spend the weekend there, if you'd like. @ahotchner
AH: Thanks. I think I'll take you up on that offer.
DM🍫⚡️: @sreid you better be coming pretty boy, just bring a couple dozen books and you'll be set.
SR♟: Yep, already packing.
I smile to myself, thinking of how for once, I'm the reason we have plans. But if anyone else knew that, I'd never hear the end of it. I knew JJ was being intentional when she didn't mention that to the group. I hear another group chat alert and glance at my phone.
BAU Baddies😎
JJ💖: Hey, is it alright if I invite Y/N again?
AB🌹: Oh I thought that was a given! You definitely need to! She fits in with us so well.
PG🦄👸🏼: You better! Or I won't let you hear the end of it 😂
JJ💖: Great! Thanks you guys, it means a lot that you've been so welcoming to her.
Y/N will be there. Maybe I'll have a friend who will hang back and read with me. It would be nice to not be the only one. Then I remember what she said about moving here because she loves the outdoors. That means she'll probably be hanging out with Derek, JJ, and whoever else. Oh well. At least maybe I'll get to talk to her more. I decide to text her. I never really text anyone, but she doesn't know that.
Y/N
Hey, it's Spencer. I heard JJ
wanted to invite you to the lake.
Do you think you'll go?
Yeah! I just got off the phone
with her. I can't wait! Are you
going?
Surprisingly...yes. I'll be bringing
some books along to pass the time
but it'll be nice to have a change
of scenery.
Books??? We'll see about that😉
I love a good book as much as the
next bibliophile...but this is a
weekend for things you CANT
do at home. Anyways, would you
want to carpool? We can take turns
driving if one of us gets tired.
Passenger is in control of snacks
and music! 🎶🍿
Haha, ok deal. We'll work out
the details later. And...thanks :)
Anytime Spencer, can't wait! 👍🏻
I lean back into the couch and smile. Even if we spend the weekend doing different things, at least we'll get to talk on the way there. I feel like she could become a good friend, but I don't want to make any assumptions...I don't do this often.
Y/N POV:
You run around your room, packing for a trip that's days away. You're too excited, it can't wait. Just as you're trying to decide on a swimsuit you get a text from Penelope, saying that the girls are going swimsuit shopping this evening. They want you to come. You can't hide the smile growing on your face. How long has it been since you've been on a girls shopping trip? You can't even remember. It's spontaneous, so you assume no one will be too dressed up. You throw on a black sleeveless t shirt dress and some strappy sandals. Easy enough to get in and out of for trying on clothes. After brushing through your hair and applying some quick, light makeup, you're ready to go. The girls had decided to meet at the mall, for the most options.
You meet up with Aunt JJ, Penelope, and Alex outside of a nice department store.
"I figured we could start here. It has the most options and it's at the end of the mall. So we can work our way down, until we all find something."
Aunt JJ tends to take charge. She's such a mom, but that's part of what you love about her. Always prepared, caring for everyone. Alex found a cute one piece with a wrap to wear as a skirt. Penelope picked out a cute pink and purple polka-dotted swim dress. JJ ended up with a sports-bra fitting bikini top and some athletic looking swim shorts. Still such a typical mom. The only one left is you. You haven't tried on very many things, and what you did try on, never made it out of the dressing room.
"Y/N, why don't you let us pick you out some things to try on, and this time, you have to at least let us see. Deal?" Penelope gives you a look of encouragement.
"Sure" you shrug. "I'll try anything at this point."
Alex stays with you while JJ and Penny go to pick out some swimsuits for you. They return with a few handfuls of options. You try on the first option, picked out by Penny. It's a cute two piece, frilly and pink. You come out and are greeted with a few giggles.
"As cute as this is, I think it's more your style than mine, Penny" you let out a small laugh.
"Oh I know. I just wanted to see you in it! I couldn't pull it off in a thousand years!" She laughs.
"Alright alright, let's keep going." JJ ushers me back into the dressing room.
I come back out in a black two piece. It doesn't show too much skin to make me uncomfortable, but it's really flattering on my curves.
I hear a chorus of "ooooo" and one "yes queen!" that I'm sure came from Penny.
"Really, you guys? It's not too...ya know."
JJ shakes her head at me. "No definitely not. Girl, you're single, you're in your twenties, your body hasn't had a child yet. If you got it, flaunt it. If not now, then when?"
The girls all nod in agreement. You blush. You didn't know you could look this good in a swimsuit. You usually avoided bikinis. You found it hard to feel comfortable in your own skin. Whenever you tried to dress sexy, you just ended up feeling awkward and uncomfortable. It helps to have some friends to encourage you. You look at yourself in the mirror one last time. Okay, even you had to admit, you look hot.
The four of you end the day with lunch, chatting about your plans for the lake.
JJ turns to you. "Y/N, I almost forgot, do you need a ride down there? I can pick you up, if you'd like."
"Ohh uh, no actually. I'm carpooling with Spencer." I give her a shy smile. I know what this looks like. "We're just friends" I quickly interject.
"That's great" she says, giving me her warm smile. "Spence really needs a friend right now. And I bet you do too." There's understanding in her eyes. You're grateful that she didn't try to make more out of it. Aunt JJ knows you, though. She knows you make guy friends much more easily. That aside, you were still so grateful for the day with the girls. They were all so genuine, and easy to get along with. They didn't make you feel like an outsider intruding on their day.
Later that evening, you lay in bed as you try to quiet your mind. Your head is swimming with too many thoughts to fall asleep: anxieties about this weekend, but also excitement and ideas of what you'll do. Not to mention, more time to get to know Spencer better. You wonder what JJ meant when she said Spencer really needed a friend right now. Maybe, just maybe, you'd break through his walls a little more this weekend.
A/N: sorry this one is short-ish. It's kind of a transition chapter so there's not as much content! Building a base, building friendships, hang with me, we're getting there 😁💖✌🏻

The Ghost Of You
01 - You’re Familiar
Tumblr media
This chapters songs:
Daughter Of A Cop; TV Girl
I Hope To Be Around; Men I Trust
Weird Fishes/Arpeggi; Radiohead
— Y. L. Perspective
My breath got louder and louder each second I ran. With my bento box hitting my hips, bag tossing around, and my skirt flying up, there was no way things could get any worse.
But luckily just around the corner, I spotted students climbing onto it, which made my feet run even faster.
Near late on my first day? Damn, Y/n, way to start your year.
Just then, I heard the sharp hiss of the engine, sending me faster towards the vehicle than I had been pacing myself before. But still, the driver was ignorant, obviously not caring how much I needed this. It wasn't like my parents would take me anyways.
"WAIT..! PLEASE WAIT!" I started on the side of the bus, running side to side with the wheels. After a few seconds of loud disruption, it finally stopped. The break was hard, and students inside were heard making remarks of protest.
Sure, I felt bad for the people who had to get a brake check, but I on the other hand was completely out of breath and near dead. Couldn't they spare me?
"I'm, I'm so.. I'm so sorry I.." My breath is short, and loud while I breathe in and out, trying my best to try and explain my tardiness to the driver. He simply sighs, gesturing for me to seat myself already.
While I stumbled down the aisle, I received a few weird glances from fellow students. Some familiar and some new. I couldn't tell if it was because of my reputation, or because I looked like a hot mess. Either way, it was too early in the morning for one to give a damn. And so, I seat myself next to another student, finally resting from the marathon I had just run.
I sighed, rolling my head back, and placed my fingers on my temples. 'I probably look like a mess right now.' I thought, letting out a huge sigh. Once I sat my fingers back down onto my lap, I observed more of the people I was surrounded by.
Some third years I was familiar with, a few that wouldn't dare speak to me, and some that were strangers. Other second and first years I didn't know at all; throughout high school, I thought it'd be best to stay hidden and introverted, especially if I were to become popular in the music industry. Lots of young stars still went to school, and usually got dirt easily thrown onto their title and that's exactly what I would avoid this year.
Bringing me back to reality, I capture a peek coming from the boy I was seated next to. He had fluffy gray hair and seemed just as tired as me. But the bus was so dark, I couldn't completely make out his features.
"Something wrong?" I said to him.
He jumped a little, adjusting his eyes back down to his phone. "S-sorry, I didn't mean to stare. I just- I think I know you from somewhere."
"Lots of people know me, buddy—" I lifted my head, facing him. 'Hey, this guy does pretty familiar. But there's no way I'd forget a face like his. Then again, I have the memory of an 80-year-old woman.' I think to myself, examining his features in an awkward mood.
"Wow, it is you. (Y/n), it's been quite a while!" He smiled widely, reaching a hand out to me. I only froze, too confused to comprehend the situation. "You have no idea how glad I am to see you're doing well!"
"I-Im sorry?" I question, wondering why a stranger would confront me this way. But something was off— I knew him, I just couldn't remember where from. Maybe from previous classes, or from a concert?
He turns slightly, growing a smile on his pale face. "I was trying to figure out if it was you or not, but it is! It's great to see you're better. How are you?"
"Who are you?" I ask back, a bit frightened.
"Uhm, well, I sat next to you in math class during my first year. Remember? I was a little ditzy, kind of annoying, I never shut up about volleyball..?" He asks, hoping to get a hint of nostalgia. "Come on, you've gotta recognize me, right?"
"Wait, Sugawara!" My finger jumps out, pointing to his sitting figure. "I'm sorry I couldn't recognize you! It sure has been quite a while. But I definitely remember you, now! You were one of the people who talked to me during my first year.. thanks for that. Anyways, how've you been?"
"I think that's my line, L/n." Suga pats my shoulder, then places his hand onto his lap. "You've changed so much! I've gotta know how you're doing!"
"I-I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing in your perspective, but thanks anyway. I've been doing just fine." I explain before a yawn escapes my mouth. Sure, this conversation was energetic, but I certainly wasn't.
"Again, so very sorry for being so forgetful. I don't remember much from first year, especially not anything in math, but I sure do recognize you now." I say, hoping my rudeness from before wouldn't have any effect on how he viewed me. Not that I cared, of course.
Luckily, Sugawara was forgiving that day. With a wide grin, he replies, "No need to apologize. People change drastically during high school; we're no exceptions. Although, I would've enjoyed being mutuals with you throughout most of it! I wonder why I haven't seen you around until today... I believe the last time we had talked was around the last day of first year."
"Yeah, we didn't have any classes together. If we had, I'm sure we would have stirred up a discussion. You seem very kind. " I gently smile, rubbing the nape of my neck. I tend to forget any bad memories, and the beginning of high school sure was a fat one.
"What a shame, you too seem wonderful.." He comments, gazing towards me for a split second, before reverting his focus. "A-anyways, it's a bit of a surprise I saw you here. Have you always ridden the bus? I usually take it in the mornings as well."
"I've actually just moved into this neighborhood. My parents work more hours than ever, so they decided it's best if I'm closer to school so that I can get to school and back quickly." I explain, tapping the sage green bento in my lap, before setting it on my side.
Sugawara nods, understanding the circumstances. "That makes sense. I'm sure you'll enjoy it now that you've got a friend in the neighborhood. Although, a girl like you must be quite familiar, right?"
'Is that intended to be disrespectful, or am I just tripping?' I think to myself, asking him to spell out the meaning of that remark. "I'm sorry, what? A girl like me?"
"Oh, crap! I didn't mean that to sound rude— I meant because of your band! I understand you guys are the talk around school, considering you're getting pretty popular in the field."
A sigh of relief leaves my lips, preparatory to my correction. "Oh, my band. I'm not sure I necessarily make friends, more like connections and acquaintances. Only a couple of students know about the band, and usually just the down-low ones. But enough about me, what about you, hm? I assume still volleyball obsessed."
I had obviously steered in the wrong direction with our conversation, for Suga's aura quickly altered at the mention of the sport. "Eh, I'm not as excited about it as I used to be." He says, along with a hint of dissatisfaction in his raspy voice.
"No way. What happened to cheerful Sugawara who asked me, the lamest, to join the girls' team?" I ask, hoping a bit of that childish personality was still inside the older version of Suga. The one which was taller, more masculine, more of a man than before.
"Honestly, can't tell you. 'Teams has been a mess ever since I've joined." He leans back in his seat, stretching his arms out, before placing them around his neck from behind. "We're hanging on my a very thin thread."
"Dang, that really sucks. You never know, things can always turn out better." I say, doing as he did, and resting against the leather seats.
"Yeah, of course. I guess it's pretty hard to keep going after so many fails, haha." A sad chuckle leaves his mouth, as he sighs.
"Anyway, nice talking. I'm outta take a quick power nap; I barely got sleep last night. Mind waking me up when we get to school?"
"Yeah, of course," Sugawara replies. With that, I'm left with laying music in my ears like always, and nodded off to slumber.
"Hey, sleepyhead. We're at school," I hear someone say, feeling a tap of a cold finger on my nose. Almost immediately, I shoot up from my position, standing directly above Sugawara while students leave the bus with their bags, having loud discussions of excitement. Was there anything more embarrassing than falling asleep on someone who ghosted you as a friend?
"Dear God, I'm terribly sorry." I panic, brushing down my blue skirt. "That happens on rides, it was a mistake."
"Oh, it's no big deal! Don't worry—" Suga chuckles, standing up from sitting. But before I could let him talk anymore, I started making my way towards the exit of the bus.
"Uhm, I've gotta go! Great talking, though. I'll catch you later, have a good day," I mumble, before frantically leaving the vehicle. 'What a morning.'
— K. S. Perspective
Before I could grant Y/n a polite goodbye, she'd disappeared in just a few seconds. But even so, the measly to,e I'd discussed with her was quite enjoyable. I couldn't believe how much she'd changed.
Long ago, the beginning of high school, Y/n was the type of girl you could barely see, as if she were invisible. I think the only reason I ever even noticed her was because we were seated next to each other in math class, and she immediately caught my attention. But thank goodness I had at least tried making an effort to talk to her, or else we wouldn't have had our conversation this morning. But it wasn't her fault she was so gloomy; supposedly she had lost someone close to her the year before.
Although our talk was brief, it still meant a lot to me. Especially since I was informed that she was finally happy. Looking down at the seat she used, there was a small box with a handle at the top, and a few anime stickers covering it.
'Is this what was making that loud tapping noise on the way here?' I asked myself, examining the box more. Small initials marked 'Y.L.' We're at the bottom, informing me it was Y/n's. At first, I considered handing it to our bus driver, but for the few years I've known him I learned he doesn't return lost things. And so, I leave the bus with it in my hands, ready to start my morning.
"Suga!" I hear a familiar voice call out to me. Looking up, I see my friend, Daichi, and another fellow behind him, Tanaka. The two of them jog towards me, with their scarfs unfolding in the wind. Both I had met in volleyball, and they've been my buddies ever since.
"Hey, Sugawara!" Tanaka exclaims, roughly slapping my back. The bento tosses in my hands, thankfully not spilling onto the floor. Unfortunately, he notices the box and snatches it right out of my hold. "Wow, feeling a bit girly, are we?"
I laugh in response, quickly taking it back. "It's not mine, it belongs to the person who sat next to me today. Hopefully, if I see her again I can give return it."
"Hopefully?" Daichi teases, as we all begin our walk towards the school doors. "Do you know her name?"
"Yeah, her name's Y/n. Know her?"
He lights up at the mention of their name, replying "Oh, I know her! That girl you never shut up about I in first year, correct?"
"Ha, yeah."
Tanaka doesn't understand, digging deeper into the situation. "What?! I've never known good ole' Suga to genuinely have feelings for a girl, unless it was some fling."
"I don't! I used to. There's a difference." I say, as we enter the building.
"If she rides your bus, then why don't you just give it to the driver? She'll probably go looking for it later at the end of the day. That is unless you wanna see her again.." Daichi teases me.
"You see, I would. But the bus driver is sort of a thief, and this girl has had a rough morning as it is. I just wanna be nice." I explain to him. Though a part of me did want to see her again and hope that we could talk longer than we did before.
"Sure you do," Tanaka says, patting our backs. "Listen, this is my stop. I'll catch you guys at practice?"
"Sure thing, bye." We say our farewells, and make our way towards the third-year halls. "What about you, Daichi? Got anything exciting happening this hour?"
"If stressing about volleyball counts, then yes! Most definitely.." He says, clearing his throat. "Watch, like, two people show up."
"Actually, Kiyoko informed us in the group chat that we've got at least four! That's better than last year, right?" I try my best to cheer him up, but it only made him even more nervous. I couldn't blame him. Too much was even more of a burden, but too little was a disappointment and would leave us exactly where we left off.
"It's okay, Suga. I have a lot of faith in our team. I know it's been rough lately, but as long as we try our best, we'll work this out." Daichi smiles, turning towards a separate hallway than mine. "I'm off to homeroom. See you later!"
"Yeah, see ya!" I'm left by myself, giving me more time to focus on what should happen today. - 1st, I have to go through each class and say hi to a couple of familiars, and hopefully not see anyone I've had a conflict with.
- 2nd, I had to give Y/ns bento back to them, but that could only happen if we happened to have a class with each other before, or if we had the same lunch.
- 3rd, volleyball tryouts were this afternoon. I had to make sure and represent myself as a role model, and make it clear I was vice-captain. I wanted nothing more than for the new players to feel safe.
But internally, I knew none of those plans would work out. Especially if I wasn't focused on them. Currently, all I could think about was Y/n, and how refreshing it felt to be around her again. When I was first around her was at the same time when things in my life started to fall apart, and my little crush on her made me feel better about it all. I guess you could say she was my comfort corner, even if she talked to me only once or twice during the week. And sometimes on her bad days, I would be able to at least get a laugh out of her, even if it meant making a complete fool out of myself.
All I wanted was for her not to harm herself or feel lonely, which took a quick turn towards me once the year had ended. Not only had my thing for her end, but my family soon fell apart after my mother had passed away. Of course, I still had my responsibilities like volleyball club and helping my younger sister and my father get through it. But it seemed that everyone would do their own thing, so I did the same. And for a while, I was lonely and didn't cope with the loss very well. Just like Y/n, I distanced myself.
This went on throughout my entire second year of high school, while she on the other hand started to get her life together. She started her band, made and covered a couple of songs, and finally healed from her hard year. Honestly, I didn't even really believe that she was in such a good state, but I was proven wrong today. Ultimately, she truly inspired me to pick myself up and start fresh. And now that she popped up so suddenly, I was back to square one.
'It's been a while, Y/n'
HEYYY SHAWTYYYS.
Give me notes.
SO, I've finally rewritten the first chapter of my fanfiction!! It took a while, but I did it. If you didn't know, I started this story about eight months ago, and I had no writing experience. Now that I'm reaching the climax of this story, I decided I should edit the chapter, especially since they sucked ass! Nothing much was changed, just far more detailing and extra feelings.
Overall, thanks so much for reading the first chapter. Please vote if you enjoyed it!! It helps others know that it's worth reading. And if not, no worries. Thanks anyways. I love you all so much!

HAIKYUU AU:
Tumblr media
Part 1 Part 3
Karasuno boys are having a sleepover in your place, their Manager!
4. Nishinoya Yuu
Tumblr media
Yea boi he's excited.
Yuu have been always a fan of yours. Sure he loves Shimizu Kiyoko more than anyone (expect Tanaka lmao) But you, you're just so different that you shines in his eyes.
"Sleepover at (Y/n)'s home?! Not Bad!"
He is excited as hell.
"(Y/n)! (Y/n)! Is your house bigg?" He excitedly asks. "Well, you'll see." You answered.
He cannot calm down geez. Unlike Asahi, who's nervous as hell he's very excited and everybody can tell.
"You guys can dry yourselves here, i'll shower first and prepare your dinner!"
Something about seeing your domestic self seems very unusual to him. He's not used to you who's not yelling and controlling people in the Gym.
You seems very famous for your strictness to the boys. But they're not complaining though.
He waits (strangely) patiently and being his usual self, with Tanaka he guards the bathroom.
"We, as a real gentlemen we have to guard our lady from danger. Especially when she's in her vulnerable state." Nishinoya explained. Tanaka answered with his nods.
Ofc you can hear everything from inside. "OI YOU TWO GET OUT FROM THE DOOR!" you opened the door, with bathrope on and wet hair.
Ofc these two guys arestunned. "Omg (Y/n), you're actually so hot-" "GET OUT!" you kicked both of them to the living room and quickly change to your clothes.
Doesn't took too long before you finished cooking dinner with Sugawara and bring them to table.
They all eat so much. You barely eats. That's alright, they worked so hard. It must be tough for them.
This guardian deity noticed that you don't eat much. So he gave a few portion of his Karaage to you. Without you even noticing.
"Eh,? I'm sure i finished mine though." You wondered. Nishinoya grins, "It seems like the Kaarage fairy likes you, (Y/n)!" Followed by cheering from Hinata asking if Kaarage fairy is real or not.
You know it's from him. It's not rare for Nishinoya sharing his food but it warms your heart.
"Um.. Due to lack of the space, one of you have to sleep with me."
"I VOLUNTEER MYSELF!" Nishinoya shouted before Sugawara holds himself. "No you're not! I don't trust you!"
"Nishinoya-senpai is tiny so i'm sure he can sleep with the others just fine." Kageyama adds. "HAAH WHAT DID YOU SAAAYYY?!"
Omg the chaos. You had enough for some point.
"Geez! I'll sleep by myself. Don't make a ruckus and Good night." You snaps while closing the door. Leaving some of them guilty.
You can't lie that you feel a little upset. Maybe you're tired. Yeah, you're prolly tired. You're gonna apologize to everyone in the morning.
It's been hours since you turn off the light. Hell it's already midnight and you can't seems to fall asleep. You're mentally and physically tired but your eyes don't want to close even an inch.
So you left your room. Moving around a little hoping you'll get (even) more tired. You move slowly, making sure you don't make so much noise that loud enough to wake everybody.
A glass of water is enough to calm yourself down right? Nah it's not. You're still hungry.
"Psst. Hey."
You turn your head around, a boy with dark drown locks and a little golden blonde highlight on his bangs. It's undoubtly him.
"Noya? You haven't sleep yet?" You whispered to him. He shakes his head, but both of your movement is too loud for the first year that ate sleeping in the living room so you dragged him somewhere else.
Should you bring him to your room? Dang it but you're still upset. So you dragged him outside to terrace. Letting go of his hand as you two sits.
"Why are you still up?" Noya shrugs. "I don't know. How about you?" You shrugs back. "Idk. Prolly-" your stomach suddenly shrieks, cutting your words and Nishinoya cannot help but laugh.
"D-Don't laugh! You'll wake everybody!" You hit his arm as he coughs. "Um, wait here 'kay" he left. You have no idea what he's planning but oh well.
You hug your knees as you looks up, the sky is so clear. Thanks to the rain and storm earlier.
You nose picks up something. A savory delicious smell coming from inside the house. Wait is this his plan?
Not so long, Noya came back with two noodle cups. He gave one to you and place himself right next to you. He only give you a grin before you two busy enjoying your instant noodle.
Not only your stomach but your heart warms up now. It's the little silence that you two in.
You smiled. After putting your cup of noodle away you chuckles.
Nishinoya confused. "What? You still hungry??"
You shakes you head, "I just don't remember keeping instant cup noodles though.." "Oh it was mine. I brought spare food everywhere, because y'know i eat a lot." Nishinoya grins.
You thanked him as you ruffles his golden bangs. And your hand quickly got snatch from his head before you know it you already cornered between him and the cold concrete wall behind you.
Is this what kabedon looks like?
He slowly release your hand and apologize. Very ashamed of what he have done. He excuse himself but you stopped him.
"...Stay for a while."
God how can he say no?
Being in the same grade as you provide him with a lots of opportunities. Not only he can see you everyday outside the club activity, he's given the opportunity of interacting with you because you two are in the same class ans apparently, you sat beside him.
He nods and sits back while you quietly watch over his side profile. Damn, you never knew that Nishinoya is actually.. Pretty good-looking.
"Sorry, i acted without thinking earlier."
"Nah, it's fine. Don't worry about it. Also, gotta admit though, you look cool with your hair down, Noya."
You can tell he's surprised. A girl? Tell him he looks cool? What? In? The? World? Is? Happening???
It seems like the cold air and the full stomach is now making you drowsy. Noya notices this, he grabs your hand and leads you to your room.
"There there. Sleep tight kay?" He spoke as he cover your whole body with blanket. It's warm.
But it's not enough.
"Hnnh.. Noya, cold." You whine.
"Haa?? Then what do you want me to do? Cuddle you up?" He jokes. Well suprisingly you nods.
Noya shocked, but why not right? He smiles as he enters the soft blanket of yours and sighed.
"Fine i'll spoon you."
5. Tanaka Ryuunosuke
Tumblr media
OMF THE CHAOS
He's literally dreading to go to your house.
"Oh shit nvm Kiyoko-san is number one- ...but sleepover at (Y/n)-san's house though, BUT KIYOKO-SAN!! B-But (Y/n)-san.."
Yeah that's what his mind probably looks like. He obviously loves Kiyoko but heck, when you appear infront of him. It's like another flower has bloom.
He swear to himself that he only devotes himself to Shimizu Kiyoko and not do anything weird but protect you as Karasuno's manager and that's it.
But when he enters your house, and seeing everybody so relaxed, he thinks "heh why not?"
Especially when he saw you getting out from the shower. He feels like he just cameback fro a long day at work and his wife is serving him-
WAIT NO THINK OF SHIMIZU KIYOKO.
Dang it, he hates himself. He can't pick. He loves Kiyoko so much but you.. You keep disturbing him.
And ofc you don't even know that this is what's going on. You only think that Tanaka loves Shimizu-senpai so it's cool he acts very defensive to the managers especially when they're outside the school.
But why is so nervous yet so happy when he sees you?
You cameback from the kitchen, placing the dinner on the table with Suga-san helping you out.
The entire scenario of you being his wife serving him right after he cameback from his work is very vivid.
He shakes his heaed as he stuff and chomps down his rice. Secretly stealing a gaze over your direction. Everybody's attention is slightly moves towards you too.
The way you eat, the way you speak, the way you smiles..
He ignores those all and focus on his meal and moves his focus elsewhere by teasing another member whose embarassed or flustered just because they're in your house.
But he's secretly overwhelmed too.
And not so long it's sleeping time.
"Um.. Due to lack of the space, one of you have to sleep with me."
"I'LL DO IT!" "NO YOU DUMBASS! STOP COCKBLOCKING ME TANAKA!" "STOP IT YOU TWOO!!!"
Sugawara was quick to respond. But you already sighs and shakes your head. "Nevermind i'll sleep by myself.. Goodnight Guys."
Shit. He felt guilty now.
He tried to erase his feeling of guilty away, Nishinoya and the others are very quick to fall asleep. They left him alone. Awake in the darkness.
He can't sleep with this guilty feeling on his chest. As a true man, he must deal with his problem straight away.
So he brace himself and lightly knock on your door.
No answer. "Shit, she's probably already asleep. I should just wait untill tomorrow-" and the door opens.
Revealing you with a sleepy face and messy hair. So you did already sleepy.
"S-SORRY! I DIDN'T MEAN TO INTERRUPT. PLEASE GO BACK TO SLE-" "Tanaka shhh.. Not so loud.." you yawns as you rubs your eyes.
"It's fine, what is it? I'm awake now." You smiles. He want to say something. Tanaka is a simple guy, if something is interrupting him, he will told you immediately.
"No ah.. I'm sorry (Y/n)-san. You should probably go back to sleep-" "Geez.. Be quite!" A shout suddenly startled both of you. Causing you to quickly drags Tanaka inside and shutting the door.
"Okay, what do you want to say?"
Man, Tanaka Ryuunosuke is stop working.
He's inside your room, he always wonder what a girl's room looks like. (His Onee-san's room is a very different one in his perspective)
"Hellooo? Earth to Tanaka? Ya there?" You wave your hand infront of him as you tap his bald head.
"A-Ah yes! It's.. I want to apologize about earlier." "Huh? Oh, that's alright. I was just tired so a little ruckus kinda bugs me. But that's okay, i'm sorry too for sounding so annoyed, eheh."
Your awkward pure genuine smile moves his heart.
He smiles. Is that it? Is this his choice?
"Say (Y/n)-san.." "Geez Tanaka drop the suffix. We're in the same year." You protest. Tanaka awkwardly chuckles and nods.
"What is it?" You wonder. Anticipating an answer from a boy who's sitting infront of you.
"Do you.. Have someone in your mind?" He looks down. Didn't even that brave to look at your eye. Untill he feels a little thud in his shoulder. He looks up..
You fell asleep on his shoulder. Oh my God.
The panic.
He's panicking inside and it shows. You, who's now asleep and sound on his shoulder suddenly slides to his lap.
He quickly carry you to the bed and tugs you in.
"This is bad this is bad this is bad this is bad"
Poor boy lol.
But one things he notices, your hand.. It won't let go of his hand. Even though he relase your hand, you kept looking for his hand.
"How adorable," he think to himself.
"...Don't leave."
"..I won't. Because, i think i love you.."
6. Kageyama Tobio
Tumblr media
Honestly, this boi can't behave himself when he's near you.
HE ADORES YOU AWWW.
Y'know ya boi Tobio never really cares about the outside world of voleyball. So he never notice any stuff that's going around even if A LOT of girls in his class are crushing on him.
In the middle school everybody seems so distant from him because of his past attitude, but he's willing to change when he came to Karasuno and boom, he met you.
What a spark of fireworks.
So now his world revolves around two things. Voleyball, and you.
Kageyama doesn't want to bother you, so he decline. But his poor self didn't bring umbrella. He already made up his mind that he'll sprint to home untill he (accidentally) heard your quarel with Daichi.
Well, why not?
So this boy tags along, and being the polite boy he is he behave SO POLITE IT HURTS YOUR EYES.
"Jesus Kageyama, you don't have to be so polite." You laughs as the other members starting to notice. Kageyama's forehead form a confused expression.
He's actually pretty quiet and calm in your house. Your house remind him a lot of his Grandma's house. The atmosphere, and the living room is practically almost identical.
He tried to enjoy the moment but ofc Hinata Boge will annoy tf outta him.
When you distribute the towels, something struck your mind and he snaps you out of it.
"(Y/n)-senpai? Is anything wrong?" You shakes your head and gave him a thumbs up, i forming everything's fine. He's happy with the little interaction that you're both having.
That's just enough for him.
It's almost his turn to shower, some of the member that showered first already back, and Hinata decided to go ahead and shower first. Taking over Kageyama's turn and leaving him behind.
He was about to chase after him but Daichi pulls him back. "Don't make any ruckus." He advised Kageyama.
But Hinata strangely came back with a pale face. As if he runs to a ghost or something.
"Oi what happened? You run to a ghost or something?" He asked, mocking him.
Hinata face turns to serious yet doubtfull. Oh shit something serious must have happened. Kageyama nudge him. "What happened?"
Hinata gulps, "... I saw Suga-san and (Y/n)-senpai in the kitchen.. They were.." Kageyama scoffs. "Yea they were cooking. What else they should be doing, huh?"
"No! Listen.. They were.. Ugh.. S-Suga-san.. Cornered (Y/n)-senpai.." Hinata whispered to him. Kageyama's heart almost stopped. So it's true.
A while ago, while he was practicing his jump serve, his ear caught something rather interesting. The third years were discussing about the managers. Including you.
"How about (Y/n)?" Daichi asked. "Aaah, i think everyone in the team atleast have a crush on her though. I mean ofc i had a crush on her, who wouldn't?" Sugawara jokes. Bur Asahi agreed too.
What? So he against the senpais too?
And the first years and second years too. Wow you sure are popular.
He gets up, clenching his towel between his fist and walked to the kitchen. While Hinata tried to hold him but poor guy he gets thrown away :(
Once he stepped to the Kitchen, he saw you and Suga. But both of you are blushing. Shit, he doesn't want to admit this but he think Hinata's not telling a lie.
"Oh Kageyama? The bathroom's that way." Sugawara's finger gesture over the bathroom and helped you with the meal. He can see a glistened of rivalry in his kouhai's eyes.
"Thanks." As Kageyama shuts the door. He curse to himself. Now he have to compete with Sugawara too? Not only the setter position but.. Girls too?
He spent his showering session by collecting himself. He must not show any emotion of upsetness. Then he gets out and surprise surprise he bumped into Sugawara.
The silence between them omg.
"Excuse me-" "Hinata told you, didn't he?"
"Shit. He knew. Now play dumb Tobio."
"H-Huh? What did you say, Suga-san?" He lies. Sugawara know from the start that Hinata will run to Kageyama and spill everything. And Kageyama Tobio is bad at lying.
"You know, that me and (Y/n)-" "Food's ready!! Everybody let's gather aroundd!" His words were cut off by Daichi's announcement.
The whole dinner session are spent well, Kageyama's usual quarell with Hinata about the food and you being so wholesome and kind about it.
But the way you and Sugawara's movement after that kitchen incident keeps bothering his mind. What if Sugawara..
And dinners ended. It's turn to sleep now. He's kind off sleepy already because of his routine. So after the room division, he will go straight to bed, he think.
"Um.. Due to lack of the space, one of you have to sleep with me."
What
"I VOLUNTEER MYSELF!" Nishinoya shouted. But he gets hold back by Sugawara. No no no. He cannot let anyone especially Sugawara to sleep with you.
"Nishinoya-senpai is tiny so i'm sure he can sleep with the others just fine." Kageyama adds. "HAAH WHAT DID YOU SAAAYYY?!"
"Let's go to the distributed room first and see, who's the one left. He gets to stay with (Y/n)-senpai." Kageyama proposes. Actually not a bad idea.
At first everyone doesn't want to take their place but their tired body forces them too. One by one, they all collapsed on the futon or matresss once they saw one. And that left us with Sugawara and Kageyama.
"You should choose, (Y/n)." Sugawara smiles.
Kageyama's almost lost because of his consciousness running out. He's THAT sleepy yall.
"Well then, i think i'll pick.." "Sugawara! There's one spot left here!" Before you can decide, (again) Daichi interrupts. And Kageyama's eyes almost rolled back because of his sleepiness.
"Fine then. Goodnight (Y/n), Kageyama." Sugawara smile as you both walk back to your room. Holding back his emotion.
You told Kageyama to wait and prepare his bed. You feel sorry for him, he must be so tired and yet he still force himself to fully awake.
"There, Kageyama. You can sleep now- Ehhh!" Whaddya know sis, he falls down. Face first to the matrass luckily not the floor.
You chuckles a little. This boy is very adorable. You know how he adores you when you help hin with his set practice. You ran your fingers trough his jet black hair, combing his hair.
"...Nyam, i like you.. (Y/n)-senpai..."
WOW. Didn't expect someone will confess to you trough sleep talking but sure i guess. A little laugh burst from you lips. Cheeks a lil' warm.
"Sweet dreams, Tobio.."

Athena's POV
It took a while for Jisung's quiet sniffles to fade the night of Chenle's death. By the time Mark and I had made our way back, Jaemin and Jisung had found out the news after they saw his face among the dead in the sky. Honestly, it was almost easier for Jisung to find out that way. I know Mark was in too much pain to tell him. As for me, I don't know how I could bare to look him in those innocent eyes and tell him either. As expected, he took it pretty hard. I mean, he was his best friend. He literally cried so much, that he eventually became exhausted and fell asleep.
I took the first watch, since Mark looked like he needed rest as well. The only other person who was still up was Na Jaemin.
"What are you thinking about?" Just like when we were alone in the first days, his head was resting on my lap.
"Jeno, Renjun, and the District 5 girl are the only ones left other than us." I point out.
Focusing on the positives, he replies, "Okay, well I'm guessing they'll go after her for us, since she's alone. Hopefully, they'll kill each-other. If not, we'll do it."
My voice was in a small whisper, "And then?"
He's silent.
I know District 2 is watching me right now. The same district that attachment is only necessary when it pertains to something you need. Once you have gotten what you've needed, you have to detach yourself. Almost like how a leech sucks enough blood until their fulfilled, then falls off on their own free will.
These people have given me my fill. Mark and Jisung took Jaemin and I in, even after Jaemin was injured. However, now we are both healthy as can be. As they sleep in front of me, what is stopping us from running away or even just killing them? Friends. Something I never had before. I never understood it until now. How it means that even though I'm full, I feel obligated to them too. To give just as much as they gave me.
But they are right. This is what they warned us about. This obligation will keep me captive. Let's say that we do all make it to the end together. Even so, the games will continue until a single victor. It happens every time.
The longest was the 25th games, it lasted for a total of twenty-seven days. This year the Districts had chosen the children of their mayors. Because of growing up wealthy and sheltered, none of the kids knew anything about fighting.
So they didn't. Half of them were wiped out by vicious mutations on the third day, then eventually others by starvation. However, the Gamemakers had a twist this year. Instead of the parachutes sending things to help and aid you, they sent down things like tracker jackers and acidic rain. No longer did the tributes have to survive eachother, but instead the sponsors.
Three weeks later, only two managed to do this: a brother and sister from District 9. Hopeless and broken, they decided to draw straws to see who would survive and win. The brother ended up getting the short one and gave his sister a kiss on the cheek before she stabbed him to death.
This just proves no matter how much you care for the other survivors, the Capitol won't give up until you kill the other.
The long silence was interrupted, "You know you're my priority. Ever since the beginning, only you."
"You know what I'm saying, what I'll do if I need to." Jaemin whispers sincerely, "I know you wouldn't like it, but we promised it would be me and you in the end, right?"
I knew exactly what he was alluding to. It doesn't matter if it's Mark or Jisung, he would kill anyone so we'd survive.
"I know." I speak even through the lump in my throat. There's no point in pretending or acting like things could never possibly come to that. I mean, it's not like the games are a place where you make friends.
Jaemin is sensitive to my discomfort, "Hopefully, it won't come to that, okay?"
All I could do was respond with a nod. Let's hope it doesn't.
It's almost natural the way I once again played with his hair to calm down. I noticed that since we've been separated, time had caused his nearly-black roots to appear, fading nicely into the frosty blonde. His eyes were more sunken in and tired, but still held the same old light as he peered up at me with interest, "You really have no shame, Athena."
"What do you mean?" I tease, playing innocent like I wasn't obviously checking out the beautiful boy just seconds earlier.
Then, in a burst of affection, the boy literally almost tackles me. My elbows brace myself up on the ground, as he leans over me. Alarmed, I turn my head to see the boys fast asleep, a good distance away.
When I look back at Jaemin, I feel my head start to buzz. It's seems like so long since I've been this close to someone. A someone who is somewhere far away in this arena. Someone, who in was in this same position with the night before I came here. In a soft voice, Jaemin's voice brings me back to the present, to him.
"Please."
Not long after I nod, I feel his lips softly brush over mine. Almost as if he's testing the waters. The kiss that follows is soft and delicate, yet brief. It's like I'm a piece of glass, that he is trying his best not to break. When, he backs away to see my reaction, I nearly chase after his lips. He just laughs to himself at the display of eagerness. I move back, so I'm entirely laying on the grass.
I try to be patient, not wanting to overstep our boundaries. However, when he looks down at me with absolute adoration, I didn't stop myself from grabbing his shirt with both my hands. Once I pulled him down into an bruising kiss, I could hear him let out a content sigh.
I get lost and entirely forget where I am. Instead of in an arena, it just feels like we're two young teenagers making out under the stars. It feels normal and completely right. Out of breath, he is now laying on top of me. My mouth is open in awe, while I marvel at the feeling. Relaxing, I could feel Jaemin smiling into my neck. Even in the dark, I know the cameras can see me also smiling like a fool to the sky.
After that, Jaemin decided to take his watch and let me sleep. It was the first peaceful sleep I have had until forever. That was, of course, until a young boy named Park Jisung ruined it.
"We need water!" Beside me was a knocked out, Jaemin. He was leaning against a tree, while my head was leaning against his shoulder.
"Okay, fine. Just shush." I was trying to be wary of Jaemin, who stayed up for both of our watches.
Grabbing my stuff, I say a brief goodbye to Mark. Jisung happily follows me like a little puppy, probably glad to finally get out of the camp again.
The fresh sun illuminates the water of the lake. Birds are singing good morning to one another.  I hand my bag to Jisung, as I take out my bottle. The tiny fish quickly swim away as I fill Mark and I's bottles up with water.
I feel a tug on my leather jacket.
"Athena." Jisung was pale, looking behind me.
My head snapped around to automatically meet eyes with Lee Jeno. Across the lake, he had just arrived with Renjun.
I don't waste any time before grabbing Jisung and running into the woods behind me. However, we could only get a small distance before Jisung fell to the ground, clutching his bad leg, "I can't."
"You can. Come on." I tried to hold him up like I did during the forest fire. I could hear the two Careers just around the corner.
"I'll slow you down." Jisung begged, "You gotta go without me."
Not even having it, I grabbed him and sat him down behind a nearby bush. Since the bush was fairly small, I had to go to the only other one across the clearing.
"Let's split up." I hear nearby.
Through a gap in the branches, I see Lee Jeno come around the corner. My heart pounds with each of his steps. Jeno gets closer and closer the bush Jisung is hiding behind. I violently curse in my head as I realized Jisung was carrying my backpack with all of my weapons in it.
I guess we're gonna have to do this a different way.
I dart out of my bush and begin running in the opposite direction of camp. That way, Jisung could hopefully make it back undetected to get help.
I don't look back at all. I just keep running until I get back to the lake. Before I can change direction, I feel someone jump on me.
Crashing down, the side of my head collides with a large boulder. At first, it's completely numb and I'm able to push the tall boy off of me.
However, once I push myself up, I start to see black and fall back to the ground.
"Hey, I got her!" Jeno yelled out to Renjun.
"We've been looking for you, pretty girl." His arms have mine completely pinned to the dirt. The more I struggle against him, the more the white dots fill up my vision.
Renjun's POV
When I run towards Jeno's voice, I eventually found the two of them.
Jeno was holding the small girl. Lee Athena's face was as white as a sheet. Blood was pouring out of her head, falling in thick drops down the side of her face. I couldn't even tell if she was even conscious at this point.
She was completely limp as the boy sat her up on her knees, "Why don't you finish her off?"
"Look who came to join us." He cooed, grabbing her hair to make her look up at me.
Her half-lidded eyes recognized me right away. Although, there wasn't any signs of fear or sadness for what she knew was about to happen to her. She almost looked like she was challenging me. You wouldn't.
Would I?
"Do it." Jeno urged me. Her chin was tilted back by his hold on her hair, neck entirely on display. My hand was tightly wrapped around the familiar blade in my hands.
I tried to quickly come up with an excuse for my next actions in my head. I mean it would have to happen eventually. At least, it would be somewhat quick.
Then, I did it.

I Believe In You {Midoriya x Sister!Reader}

*Was Listening To The Sad OST While Writing This*
*TW: Mentions of Death & War. Also sad Izuwu T_T*
"I'm sorry Izuku!" My mother cries, falling forward and bringing my crying little brother into a hug. Now they're both crying while I myself just lean against Izuku's bedroom door frame, a few tears leaking from my own eyes.
Izuku just found out he was quirkless only mere hours ago, that's all it took to utterly crush his life dream of becoming a hero. A sorry was not what Izuku needs, I know this and I know mom knows this too... but yet that's all she could do, apologize for something that was in no way her fault.
I'm not sure how much time has passed with just my brother and mother embracing each other and crying but mom soon breaks the hug, standing up. She starts to walk out of his room, sniffling, but stops beside me and leans in so only I could hear what she had to say.
"Can you talk to him, he needs you now more than anything (Y/N)" she whispers. I glance at her and nod, knowing I need to take up the roll of talking to him since she couldn't at the moment. "Thank you..." mom whispers, continuing to walk away, probably to the couch or to her room.
I take a small inhale of air, trying to think of what to tell Izuku. My mind races for something I could tell him put ultimately I just say screw it and walk over to stand beside him. Just as I'm about to open my mouth to say something, Izuku presses the pause button on his video, stopping it at the part where All Might's face takes up the whole screen, sniffling.
"I-I can become a h-hero like y-you r-right (Y/N)-chan? I-I can be a g-great hero like you too r-right?" My heart just shatters at his heart broken voice and I suppress the urge to cry. I spin Izuku's computer chair around so he's facing me only to be met with a still crying Izuku. I frown and pick him up off his chair, carrying him over and setting him in my lap as I sit down on his bed.
"Of course you can Izuku, I see no reason why you can't be" I whisper to the small, fragile boy. He gazes up to me with tear stained cheeks, no longer crying, but with a confused look.
"B-but I'm quirkless, I can't be a hero like All Might or you..." he whimpers out, lowering his head as tears start to form in his eyes again. I lift his head so he's looking at me, chuckling a little while wiping his small tears away.
"Who said you can't become a hero?" I question, though I know who but I just want him to answer.
"The doctor, Kacchan, everyone in my class... They all say I should give up, that I should stop trying, that I can't do it..."
"Are you going to listen to them?" I inquired. Izuku gives me a quizzical look so I restate my question, "Are you going to listen to them? Are you going to give up?"
Taking a moment to think over what I'm asking him, Izuku just shrugs, "maybe..."
"Nope! Wrong answer Izuku!" I smile down at him, "do not let others lead your life, it's your life for a reason..." I pause a moment, debating whether or not I should let this information slip past my lips or not. Maybe I should, Izuku needs to hear this...
"I want to tell you something Izu. People are going to tell you that you can't do it, whether it's because your weak or quirkless or not smart enough. I know you know this, but listen, you can do it. Want to know why I think you can?"
"Why..." he whispers.
"Because when I was your age... I was told the exact same thing, that I could never be a hero, but look where I am now! I proved them all wrong, I became the hero that I wanted to be! I did that by not listening to those who told me other wise. I pushed through, I set goals for myself and I set morals that I would stick by and every time I did I became stronger, more confident in myself, and so can you! You can become the No. 1 Hero that you want to be Izuku!"
When I finished my little motivational speech, my small, 4 year-old brother is left speechless with floods of tears streaming down his eyes, but in no way is he sad. Embracing me tightly, Izuku stands up on my lap and leans his head into the crook of my neck, crying but I can hear him say something, something that puts a smile on my face.
"Thank you (Y/N)-chan, you're my hero and the best sister ever..."
We stay like that for a little bit until Izuku finally lets go, wiping his tears away. He hops off my lap and goes to the head of his bed, climbing under the covers and laying his head on the pillow. He lets out a tiny yawn and I chuckle, the poor boy having tired himself out. I stand up from where I was sitting on the edge of his bed and walk over to his computer, shutting it down. Pacing back over to Izuku's bedside, I turn on his All Might nightlight, lean forward and give his forehead a kiss.
"Good-night Izu, sweet dreams little hero-to-be" I murmured. Turning to his bedroom door about to head to my own room to retire for the night, I halt in my steps by the quite call of my brother.
"(Y/N)-chan, I have a question..." Looking at him, I nod to him as a way of saying that I was listening and to ask his question. "W-what's a moral? You said you have those but, what are they?" I hum in though as I walk back to kneel beside him, pondering the best way to explain this to him without confusing him. What the hell am I talking about, he's a smart boy, he'll understand.
"It's a little hard for me to explain but it's like what a person believes is right, it's like something they live by." I try to explain. A small 'oh' leaves Izuku.
"What's a moral that you have?" If I'm being honest I was a tad taken aback by him asking me that. I nevertheless smile and think of my answer.
"Well, I actually have a few. Like a villain is not born, they're made. No one is born to be evil, something has to happen to them or they were raised that way, and were never showed the light and beauty of the world around them. But two of my favorites have to be that a true hero isn't measured by his strength or how many villains he defeats, but by the strength of his heart and his will to be a hero. The second one is that a hero isn't born, they're made, meaning that it takes hard work for them to get to where they want to be, which is to be a hero of course. I know for sure that I had to work hard to get to where I am now, but you, you'll have to work extra hard, but I believe in you Izuku and when you become a hero, you'll be letting the world know that you did it. But to do that you need to go to bed silly!" I flash smile at him and he smiles his big, bright, pure smile back.
"Will you train me when I'm older (Y/N)-chan!? Please!?" Izuku pleads and I laugh.
"Yes Izuku I will and I'll be with you every step of the way, I promise. But you gotta go to bed first!"
"Okay! Good-night (Y/N)-chan, I love you!" Izuku laughs with a smile as he closes his eyes, falling asleep within moments. A smaller smile crawls onto my lips and I stand up once more to my full height, tip-toeing so I don't wake Izuku up. Just as I'm about to close the door I whisper out,
"I love you too Izuku, my little brother. I believe in you..." What I didn't know was that he heard what I said and that those words would stick with him on his journey to becoming a Pro Hero.
--------(Time Skip, Izuku is now at UA and 15 years old)--------
The words my sister said to me when I was told that I couldn't become a hero 11 years ago has got me through so much and has gotten me to where I am now, at UA High, the prestigious school for heroes-to-be. Even while she isn't here with me now, I know that she is watching over my every move.
"Settle down students" Mr. Aizawa sighs, hopping into class dressed in his favourite yellow sleeping bag. At the sound of the very, and always, tired teacher's voice, Class 1-A did as told and settled into their seats as they all ended their conversations and such, ready to focus on the lesson for the day.
Well, all but one. That being Izuku Midoriya.
"As some of you may know," Aizawa began, "today is the anniversary of the War of Pros, a war between many Pro Heroes and Pro Villains worldwide. So, as some of you can guess, that'll be the lesson for today."
As Mr. Aizawa was setting up the projector to show a slideshow featuring some notes, videos and pictures, his dark and sleep-deprived eyes made eye contact with Midoriya's. At that moment, the usual stone coldness of Aizawa's eyes shifted to one of sympathy. Midoriya could tell what his teacher was thinking, so he merely nodded, letting the Pro Hero know he was okay sitting around for the lesson. Nodding back, Aizawa continued with the planned lesson.
"The war ended quickly, with it only lasting 3 weeks, and some of the greatest heroes served in it. Who knows what heroes from Japan fought in it?"
Right away, Midoriya's hand shot up, making it quite known to the class that he knew what the answer was. Aizawa was quite surprised but didn't show it.
"Midoriya?"
Clearing his throat, Midoriya answered, "All Might, Endeavor and... (H/N)." Many caught the hesitation with the last Pro Heroes name, but paid no mind to it. Except Bakugou and Aizawa, because they knew the reason behind it.
When I was 10, (Y/N) was assigned to partake in war overseas along with All Might and Endeavor. At this time, my sister moved up the ranks to be the No.3 Pro-Hero in Japan, meaning she was one of the strongest there was and one of the more fit ones to go to battle. This war was classed as a triple-S level war, so Pros from all over the world, such as America, came to assist as well. It was chaos and destruction between villains and heroes alike, many were injured but only one Pro-Hero was killed.
My sister...
"Right..." Aizawa replied in a monotone voice, like always.
Aizawa was the same age as (Y/N), they went to school together and were in the same classes. As for Bakugou, despite being the nerds older sister, Bakugou still knew the Pro deserved respect.
As the dark haired teacher continued on with the lesson, Izuku Midoriya was stuck in his own thoughts about his sister and the day he and his mother were told of her death.
The day my mother and I found out was the worst day of my life, it greatly out weighted the agony and sadness I felt when I found out I was quirkless. My mother cried for months and wouldn't even go anywhere close to her room, avoiding it like the plague, but only because every time she would be near it, she would burst into tears.
When my mother was finally ready to go into (Y/N)'s room we found letters in her desk drawer. One was addressed to mom, one to All Might, one to Mr. Aizawa, one to President Mic. Then there was a stack of 7 addressed to a group that (Y/N) was apart of called the RFA. The last letter was for myself. Mom mailed the other letters after she read her own, but I read my letter later that night.
When I read the letter it seemed to have meant to be for me to read before she left, (Y/N) must have just forgotten to give it to me before she left, she did leave 2 days earlier than she was originally suppose to.

Dear Izuku,
Hey there little buddy! I know you don't like that nickname all that much but meh :P
Now onto some serious things... I know, I know, there's no fun in serious things but I gotta! As you know I have to leave for a little while to go overseas, but I'll come back as soon as I can! Then we can go back to our usual of training and goofing off okay! I promise, pinkie promise Izuku!
And if you ever miss me you know what to do right? Yell out the window as loud as you can so I can hear you 'Goddess 606 help me!' or you can call on my friend God 707, he'll be there for you too if I can't be :)
Like I said Izuku, I'll be home as soon as I can be, so just keep training while I'm gone, then when I get back I'll test you, so be ready!
You can do it Izuku, go beyond, Plus Ultra! I believe in you!!
~Love your sister, (Y/N) Midoriya~

"Even though a life was taken that day in battle, her sacrifice was not in vain. Can anyone tell me why?" Zoning back into the lesson, Midoriya hears Aizawa ask the class another question, and with no one else raising their hand, whether it's because they don't want to answer the question or no one actually knows, Midoriya reluctantly raises his hand once more.
Hesitantly, Aizawa calls on him, "Midoriya..."
With clenched hands that tremble slightly, Midoriya answers through his teeth, "Her sacrifice wasn't in vain... b-because her finally attack won th-the war..." Midoriya couldn't hold them back any more, his tears of sorrow and hurt. Hurt because his sister promised to come home, yet she's not here, with him and cheering him on! Not here with him sparring, not here helping him grow, not here with him every step of the way like she said, like she promised!
The sudden noise of a chair scrapping against the tiled ground caught everyone's attention, except for Midoriya, who's still crying in his seat while his fellow classmates gave him sympathetic looks before the noise occurred.
"Oi, Deku..." The rough and raspy voice of Katsuki Bakugou sounds out in the quiet classroom. While the pitch of Bakugou's tone seems to not have changed, to everyone that knew the young boy, they would catch the softness in it. Marching over to his desk, Bakugou lifts Midoriya by the back of his collar and sets him on his feet.
Calming down just enough to talk coherently, Midoriya mutters out "w-what is it Kacchan? I-" before being pulled into someones embrace, Bakugou's. Class 1-A and their teacher are shocked to their core, no one expecting him to comfort his childhood rival. Before Midoriya could sputter out anything, Bakugou began to talk.
"Now listen here shitty Deku cause I'm only saying this once, (Y/N) wouldn't want you to be this upset over her, she'd want you to continue living your life and become the hero she knew you could, no um, become the hero that you can be. Don't think I didn't see you and her training all those years ago! Now don't let her hard work go to waste shitty nerd and brighten the hell up, it's what she would have wanted!" Bakugou's tone held so much sincerity and truth that Midoriya couldn't help but cry more, not in sadness, but in content. He should have realized that if his sister was still here that she would have been disappointed in how he's been living his life, in sadness and despair.
"Th-thank you K-Kacchan!" Midoriya cried, hugging his friend just a little tighter, Bakugou returning the tight grip.
"No problem nerd..." He whispered, tone gentle.
The class sat shocked yet eternally happy that Bakugou dropped his pride to comfort the very emotional green haired teen, showing a side of himself that very few would ever get to witness and experience. Smiling faces filled the quiet classroom as 1-A just let everyone calm down, to regain composure of their feelings so they could return to the lesson.
Suddenly, frantic and heavy footsteps could be heard from the hallway just outside the classroom, catching many off guard. Bakugou and Midoriya parted, positioning themselves into a fighting stance, ready to defend themselves and those around them.
As the classroom door slides open with much ferocity, the entire of Class 1-A is thrown into shock, but in three of them, other emotions bubble in them. Aizawa, Bakugou and Midoriya all hold a sense of sadness, relief, confusion and pure joy at the face that has appeared before them.
Lowering their fighting stances, Izuku staggers forward, tears beginning to brim his emerald coloured eyes.
"(Y-Y/N)...?"
(Y/N)'s POV
"(Y-Y/N)...?" Izuku whispers, voice shaking though thick with emotion. As I lean against the door frame to the classroom, clutching the side of my stomach, I can see the tears in his eyes. In my little brother's eyes. Eyes that I thought I'd never see again along with his atrociously messy green hair, his distinctly familiar voice that despite him being older, is still recognizable.
"I-Izu-uku, I told y-you I'd c-come home" the arm that wasn't holding my injured side reached out to him, my body leaning off the only support I had at the moment. Izuku rushes forward, the tears that had been accumulating finally running down his cheeks as he wraps his arms around me, myself doing the same as I let go of my injury momentarily.
His tears start to soak my tattered, torn and slightly burnt shirt but I could care less. All I care about is being here, home, with part of my family.
"H-h-how a-are you-u he-here. Th-the n-news said you were d-dead" the small green haired boy hiccups, clutching onto me tighter, like if he even loosened his grip a fraction I would disappear forever. His fingers claw slightly into another wound of mine, causing me to wince though Izuku doesn't let up.
"I know, I know. I never died, I was kidnapped by those I was fighting back then and only now was I able to escape. But I promise, I'm here, I'm okay and I'm never leaving you again. And hey, I see you made it into UA! Told you that you could make it!" I smile.
Izuku only seems to sob louder and harder. His tears aren't tears of sorrow any more but more like tears of happiness.
In that moment, we both knew that everything was going to be okay. That neither of us would be absent from each other's lives ever again.
I was home and someone I care about most is happy.
Everything is finally alright.
