Two Lies and A Truth part 2

Turns out the Startrain can get a person from London to Paris in what feels like a matter of minutes. Marinette waited on the platform, alone in a crowd of commuters, with her wide brim hat pulled down low over her face. She wore her hair down, a countermeasure against any old friends who might recognize her style, and opted for an equally unfamiliar white and pink sundress. She'd originally made it for her dream date with Adrien. Now it would meet one of the only friends she had left.

The train from London pulled in, and Felix Graham de Vanily was the first off. He wore his signature dark gray three piece suit, a white shirt making his skin seemed more tanned. He scanned the crowd, forcing people to move around him as his vibrant green eyes searched for her.

She wove a path through the crowd and grabbed his hand. "Hey," she said weakly.

He froze, taking in her changed appearance before speaking. "Your hair looks nice." He touched just the tip of her blue hair, admiring the length. "What prompted the change?"

Marinette's smile dropped. "Don't want to be recognized." Her voice was almost imperceptible in the din of the station.

The pair walked out hand in hand, Felix's heart racing where Marinette's barely caught her attention. Together they wove their way through Paris. Their only pause was with Andre Glacier to get ice cream, Andre's idea not theirs. Finally their meandering brought them to the bakery where they first truly met.

Sabine and Tom waved to the kids as they went up into the apartment. Marinette noticed her mother's calculating look while Felix caught her father's questioning gaze. The young man thought their journey would end in the living room, but Marinette kept his hand in her own until they'd climbed up into her pink painted room. The walls were nearly bare, with the crumpled up pictures of Adrien in her waste basket. Felix took good note of that.

In the safety of her room, Marinette started talking. She repeated a lot of what Felix already knew: how her class had been turned, how the teacher punished her when it wasn't her fault, about how she had only 3 people left in the whole city she could trust. When she brought up the arrival of Suzette, he could tell from the stormy expression of her face that this girl did more than bother Marinette.

"What do you care if she's Ladybug?" Felix asked, waving his hand as if to present the situation on a platter. "Sounds like she'll prove herself wrong soon enough."

"But she's put the entire school in danger!" Marinette cried. She slumped onto her chaise and sighed. "If Hawkmoth thinks anyone in François Dupont is his arch nemesis..." She didn't finish the sentence. She didn't have to. Felix had seen the chaos akumas caused, and if it weren't for the Ladybug Cure, everyone in Paris would be dead ten times over.

He nodded, and Marinette sighed with relief. She wanted to tell him the real reason, that she was the one suffering stolen identity here, but she couldn't. She thought of Master Fu's threat. Being Ladybug was stressful, sure, but it was one of the best things in her life right now.

Their phones buzzed simultaneously. Felix had his out first, sparing Marinette the trouble. Nadia Chamack's face filled the screen completely. "Don't be bemused, it's just the news. On this special report, we have Alya Cesaire live in our studio to talk about a remarkable post she's put on her Ladyblog." The camera switched to show the red haired girl Marinette used to call friend. As the audience applauded, the pair in a pink room sat on Marinette's chaise.

"Thanks for having me, Madame Chamack." At least she had her manners. "I'm a big fan of yours."

Nadja laughed and made a little dismissive gesture. "If you're a fan of mine, then you know here at the station we love our Ladybug, and your blog has been a key source of information on her. Let's show the audience what you posted today that's sweeping our city!"

Nadia's large screens showed Alya close up in the frame, breathing heavily. "How unbecoming." Felix scrunched his nose in disgust while Marinette laughed.

The video showed Alya rushing back to her seat where across from her sat...Ladybug? The costume was fairly well made, superior to Chloe's in many ways. There was still the glaring issue of a zipper on the back and her mask slowly dropping on the left side.

The two began talking like old friends, Alya crediting Lila for getting the interview squared away. Felix watched Marinette as her face switched from shock to horror.

Once the Ladybug interview had wrapped up, Nadja began asking questions about the whos, whats, wheres and whens of the impromptu video. "Lila, my best friend," Alya emphasized that title like she knew Marinette was watching, "promised me an interview with LB, and it turns out Ladybug is wonderful in and out of costume!" She pasted a surprised look on her face and murmured, "Oh, I shouldn't have said that." in such a perfect copy of Lila that Marinette searched for a wig line or something.

"In and out of costume? Does that mean - hold on, you know who Ladybug is?" Nadja had real shock on her face, and if the camera had turned then Felix imagined the audience would have that same look too.

Alya smiled sweetly. "I couldn't say."

The interview continued, but Felix set his phone away. Marinette was shaking now, and he put an arm around her. She leaned on his shoulder, her body slowing to matching his heartbeat. He rested his head on top of hers and took a deep breath. She smelled like strawberries, glue, and mint.

Now he jumped up and paced. Her eyes followed back and forth as he moved, pausing every so often to muse on a particular idea.

"I've got it." He smiled, a devious grin that split his face like a demon.

Marinette listened with rapt attention.

"Blast Master, I am Hawkmoth. You want to expose the truth about Lila Rossi and save your friend. I'm giving you the power to control explo-"

"That's a no on the name."

"I beg your pardon?"

"Then beg."

"...what is happening?"

"Listen, you're right about why I'm pissed, and I'll gladly take the explosion power, but I'm not calling myself Blast Master."

"I...suppose?"

"Excellent, glad we're on the same page."

Suzette Lambert basked in the attention of her schoolmates like a cat basks in the sun. Lila was right, she mused, these idiots are too easy. Only two weeks and she had near god like worship. She almost didn't regret transferring out of her private English school.

The two people who didn't immediately succumb to her will were Chloe Bourgeois and Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Chloe made snide comments here and there but hardly went toe to toe with the new queen of the school. It helped that literally anytime she tried, either that nuisance Alya would snap at her or the teacher would gently redirect the class.

Her teal eyes caught sight of the little pariah, who'd snuck in early and taken her spot at the farthest desk in the room. Marinette never spoke. Not even when the teacher called on her. When she'd asked, Lila bemoaned, "Oh Mari? She's just the worst. She's always so mean to me and everyone hates her for it. I wouldnt even bother talking to her."

Suzette couldn't say it was hard to get on Lila's bad side, but that seemed a bit extreme. It all made sense after her little "slip-up" though.

It was the Italian's idea to say she was the heroine. "Trust me, no one will even question it." As much as Suzette hated to admit it, Lila was right. Everyone latched onto the biggest lie of her life and now the royal treatment was just a standard. The only bad reaction she got was Dupain-Cheng running out of the room. That was weird on so many levels, but Suzette ignored it.

Class was going smoothly until the volley of ringtones interrupted the lesson.

"An akuma?"

"It's just down the street!"

"Hold up Alix, let me see!"

Suzette checked her phone, lazily scanning the report of a dancing harlequin-style akuma moving steadily towards François Dupont.

"Go suit up, Suzette!"

She looked at Alya with a tired expression. "What?"

The reporter pointed her cellphone at Suzette. "Don't you need to transform? To defeat the akuma?" Her quizzical look spread like a virus through the class.

"I can't." She needed to think, quick. "The Guardian took my miraculous for safe keeping." She mentally congratulated herself for the excuse.

Nino spoke up next. "Why?"

"Repairs."

"Why would a miraculous need repairs?" And why was Kim of all people chiming in?

"Oh puh-lease." Now came Chloe Bourgeois. She sat on her desk and ignored Madame Bustier's reprimand as she continued. "Obviously she can't because she isn't Ladybug." Sabrina nodded vigorously, the nasty little cockroach.

Alya naturally spoke next, loud enough to give the queen standing next to her a headache. "No one asked you, Chloe." She snapped. "Why dont you keep your opinions to yourself?"

"Why dont you you little gossip rag wannabe?"

Wow, Suzette thought. That's an interesting shade of red in Alya's face.

Chloe turned those sky blue eyes back to her rival. "What form does your miraculous take? Or better yet, what's mine?" She leaned forward, her head tilted as if to listen for an answer.

Suzette crossed her arms. "Why would I care about yours?"

"Because you're the one that gives it to me, Ladybug. And I know for a fact if you were the real Ladybug, you would've kept your mouth closed about your identity."

No one noticed Marinette in the back of the room staring wide eyed at Chloe.

"Who are you to talk to me like that?!" Suzette yelled. Lila grabbed her arm, locking her in place. "You're just the mayor's spoiled brat who only cares about herself!" Chloe smiled at Suzette's words. The audacity.

"Maybe, but at least I'm honest."

Another insult began forming in the mind of the false Ladybug when the door came off its hinges with an explosion.

Random ML headcanons bc I’m bored today

Sabine Cheng has Known™, or at least suspected, since the very beginning when Ladybug and Chat Noir first showed up on television. She never told Marinette or even Tom, but every time Ladybug shows up on the news while she’s making something in the bakery, she smiles a little to herself

Tom ships Adrienette even harder than Marinette does

Rose and Juleka are very happily in love (this is honestly 100% canon but whatever)

As are Nathaniel and Marc (also I heard someone suggest their ship name was Licorice Twist on an insta post so I nominate that as their official ship name)

Chloe is hella lesbian and has a celebrity crush on Ladybug

Marinette is pan

Adrien has definitely asked Ladybug for her autograph at least once

Adrien’s Ladybug and Chat Noir action figures were a birthday present from the Gorilla

Adrien is pretty good at drawing and doodles Ladybug in the margins of his notebooks. Marinette sometimes comments about how he managed to capture her freckles just right. Gabriel was once in the middle of chewing Adrien out over video chat, and he had been talking so long that Nathalie fell asleep and her finger slipped and ended the call. The next call Gabriel got was a frantic Nathalie apologizing over and over again with Adrien cackling in the background, laughing so hard he fell over. He got grounded but it was worth it

Nino had a crush on Alya for a while before they started dating, but he only realized it when they were locked in the cage

Gabriel was a lot like Adrien growing up--super rich and famous. But he fell for Emilie long before Emilie liked him back

Chat Noir is the single biggest feminist anyone will ever meet

Before they started dating, Ivan was almost as scared of Mylene as she was of him

Speaking of Mylene, she is definitely mixed

On the school’s pajama day he wore his Ladybug pants and walked into class only to see Marinette in a Rena Rouge tank top, Alya in a Carapace onesie and Nino in a Chat Noir shirt

Also, Adrien reads Ladynoir fanfic in secret, and Alya writes Ladynoir fanfic in secret. His all-time favorite one was written by her, although neither of them know this.

Queen Bee Is A Lesbian And She’ll Fight You. (A ML Pride One Shot/Drabble)

Pride was possibly the best thing the inhabitants of Paris knew. Parades, confetti, balloons, the streets full of happy people flying flags of all different colors. People lined the sidewalks, spent months building floats and planning outfits, covered their faces in paint and let themselves be free on the day of the Pride parade.

Miss Bustier’s class was no exception.

Everyone was excited, joined together in the lobby of Mayor Bourgeois’ hotel. Chloé had invited them all, too excited by her newly found sexuality to be off putting today. She’s surprised them all last week when she stood up and shouted out that she was a lesbian, and would gladly fight anyone who tried to say she was wrong.

Of course, nobody had. Half the class had some sort of pride flag hanging in their room, and gladly welcomed Chloé to the community. Needless to say, it improved her attitude a little bit.

Chloé had surprised them all again when she descended the stairs, a multi-shade pink flag hanging from her shoulders like a cape, and trailing behind her elegantly. Her hair was down, and she looked genuinely happy. It helped having Sabrina at her side, her own rainbow one tied around herself with a pansexual scarf.

Nino gave them both a thumbs up from the couch, his face being painted with small pink, yellow, and blue dots by Alya. His shirt proclaimed that he loved hearts, not parts, and his smile was brighter than any other day. He’d even replaced his normal hat with a pride themed one to match his shirt and face.

Alya herself wore a bisexual flag shirt, and had a scarf with ‘ladybug-sexual’ written around it in small prints.

Marinette and Adrien stood next to them, Adrien’s scarf matching Alya’s, intentionally, and his shirt a mix of white, black, purple, and greys. His face matched Nino’s with the colors proudly smearing across his cheeks in lines rather than dots.

Marinette chose to match Alya with a bisexual shirt, but had added paw prints across her nose in the same colors. The reference to Chat Noir and Rena Rouge with the paws wasn’t lost on Adrien or Alya, but neither mentioned it in embarrassment.

Juleka and Rose both were posing for pictures together, Rose with a large pink, purple, and blue flag in her hands, and Juleka with rainbow paint down her arms and around her neck in splatters. Their hands were squished together, smearing paint, but neither seemed to care.

Alix took the pictures, her usual helmet and rollerblades replaced with rainbow ones despite only being an ally. She was too happy to support her friends, especially Nathaniel and his new boyfriend, Marc, who proudly wore matching rainbow flags. Nathaniel had a black, white, gray, and purple shirt, and was so wrapped up in Marc, Alix snapped a few pictures on them as well.

Ivan and Mylène were talking with Max, laughing about the fun that was sure to come. Ivan wore a shirt proclaiming him as a proud ally boyfriend of a trans woman, meaning Mylène, and Mylène herself proudly wore a dress made of the trans pride colors. Her face was bright, and covered in painted stars to match the dress. Max wore their flag proudly as a cape, along with their robot companion carrying a little matching flag beside them.

Luka showed up after a half hour of everyone mingling, and was immediately pulled back towards Marinette and Adrien, the two both excited to see him. He smiled gently, happy Gabriel let Adrien come, and pulled his scarf out of his jacket pocket, draping it around his shoulders. The pink, blue, and green stood out on him, and both Adrien and Marinette looked completely absorbed by his presence.

Kim finally appeared from his bathroom break, dressed in a rainbow tracksuit nobody had expected. Of course, everyone loved it and Kim flourished under the attention. He was an ally, but, like Alix, was so very proud of everyone around him he had to go all out.

Lila, surprisingly, sashayed into the lobby ten minutes after Luka with her entire body covered in pinks, blues, and whites. Her make-up, nails, and jewelry was all themed after the flag hanging around her waist. Even her shoelaces were colored after it. She wore a confident face, but everyone noticed the way she tensed when eyes went to her, and relaxed when everyone merely accepted it and treated her the same way.

Marinette even walked over, and offered to take a picture for her. She didn’t want to fight today, so Lila kept her comments to herself and let Marinette snap a photo.

“Okay, it’s time to get moving everyone!” Alya called, putting away the paint she had used. Everyone brightened, if it was even possible, and began moving towards the doors. Outside, crowds raged and confetti rained.

Mylène and Ivan went first, heading out to hop onto the private float the Bourgeois family had reserved. Max and Kim were next, followed by Luka, his hands gripping both Adrien and Marinette’s with a fiercely loving pride. Chloé ushered the rest of them out, couples holding tightly to each other, and looped her arm around Sabrina, taking a deep breath before they went to join the parade.

Alix skated around the float as they moved, throwing beads and candy from her bag. Kim ran with her, dancing to the music playing around them.

The class yelled, and cheered, and laughed as the crowds screamed back, the colors and the warmth of it all overwhelming.

Chloé hadn’t planned this when she came out last week, but she was so, so happy to be surrounded by people who wanted to share the love as she did. Even if she didn’t necessarily act like it, she did value people’s opinions, and her pride was always a vulnerable spot for her.

Of course, she hadn’t invited Lila. It was mean, and yeah Chloé kind of felt bad, but she hadn’t. Seeing Lila strut up into her father’s hotel like that, wearing her pride and trying so hard not to look like she was scared, Chloé felt an overwhelming sense of wanting. She wanted to go back and invite Lila correctly. She wanted to make sure Lila knew they may not agree with her lies, but they would always support her identity.

Looking at Lila sitting at the edge of the float, Chloé moved towards her, whispering to Sabrina that she would be back in a moment. She pulled Lila to her feet, wrapped her arms around her briefly as she could, and handed her a tiny little rainbow flag. Lila looked shocked, then confused, and then, fond. She gave the little flag a wave, and smiled gratefully.

Sabrina welcomed her girlfriend back to the top of the float, and grinned at her, proud of the way she’d handled Lila’s appearance, and pressed a kiss against her cheek.

Alya took pictures, cheering and dancing to the music. Nino moved with her, joined by Nathaniel and Marc, who looked shy, but too happy not to enjoy themselves.

Max let their robot fly around above the crowd, flag waving in the wind, and tossed candy towards the people, Ivan and Mylène doing the same on the other side. Juleka and Rose jumped around, swinging each other in some kind of dance on they knew, and Luka cheered his sister on before being pulled around by his partners, who wanted to enjoy their day together.

Chloé watched them, basking in the glow of everyone’s happiness. It’d taken years to accept herself and now, looking from her girlfriend, to her friends, and to the crowds, she didn’t regret any of it.

ML Counsellor AU: Pride Parade

Adrien is attending Pride for the first time this year with his friends, what he doesn’t expect is to see someone so close or home attending, and to find out they have a social life outside of work.

So what if Adrien neglected to mention that he was meeting up with his friends there to walk in the Pride Parade and hang out?

Adrien had been so excited that he almost didn’t notice that Nathalie wasn’t there, until he remembered that she had booked a personal day. Probably to do taxes or something boring like that.

He brings a backpack with him in the limo, smiling widely with excitement as he bounced in his seat, waiting until the house was out of view before changing into a different shirt. The new graphic shirt had a slogan on it that said ‘Will I turn everything into a Bisexual pun? Pro-Bi-ly!’, he also put on a white baseball cap and some sunglasses to help protect his identity. He still wore his jeans regular jeans, so Plagg could hang out in his pocket.

When he exited the limo, Gorilla saw all of his classmates in an array of different flag colours and get ups, and he looked at Adrien’s shirt with a raised brow. Adrien was momentarily worried he would force Adrien to go back the house, since he wasn’t full truthful about his outing. However he noticed that the Gorilla had a button on his lapel, upon a closer look he noted that it was a button of the Asexual flag.

Adrien smiled brightly, looking up at the Gorilla who simply nodded, as Adrien bolted towards his friends. There were quite a few people here besides his classmates for pride if the bright colours were any indication. Some were even wearing some pretty outrageous outfits of tutus, togas, and he even saw a bright pant suite a woman was wearing in different shades of pink with orange trim.

Nino was wearing a ‘Straight Ally’ shirt, along with Ivan. Chloe was wearing her usual outfit but it was in the bisexual colours, she was talking with Sabrina who was wearing a cute romper that was made up of the Asexual flag colours. Alya was wearing rainbow suspenders, and on the suspenders it all buttons of every pride flag, and her shirt had a giant question mark on it.

Marinette was wearing a cute overalls outfits made up of the Pansexual colours, her hair in two buns on the top of her head. She looked adorable!

“Bro! Glad you could make it! You snuck out on your dad and Nathalie?” Nino asked as he gave Adrien a hug, causing Adrien to laugh.

“No, I asked father for the day off. With so much happening today with Pride, I don’t think he noticed, besides, Nathalie has the day off, she is probably doing taxes or something-“

“Adrien?” He heard a feminine voice ask.

Adrien froze momentarily, looking behind him to see the woman who was wearing the pant suit in different shades of pink. Jonathan Greening

The midfield there was largely a fringe first team player but still made seven appearances for United during the Treble season.

Greening collected a Champions League winner & # 39; s medal but later admitted he & # 39; felt a bit of a fraud & # 39; given he had a single minute of the European campaign.

But he went on to forge a successful career at West Brom, Fulham and Nottingham Forest among other clubs.

He can now be heard on BBC radio and podcasts and is also head of player development at the i2i Soccer Academy based in York.

PLAYERS WHO MISSED THE FINAL

Paul Scholes

Scholes missed the Champions League final through suspension after collecting a yellow card in the second leg of the semi-final with Juventus, though he was part of the celebrations in his club suit.

It was an undeserved ending to a terrific season for such a gifted midfield player, who was instrumental in so many of the 51 matches he appeared in.

Scholes scored the match-sealing second goal in the FA Cup final against Newcastle United and scored 11 goals in total throughout the campaign.

He remained a United player until 2013, winning heaps of silverware with his one and only club and even coming back out of retirement to add an 11th Premier League title to his collection.

Scholes, such a quiet and private individual off the field as a player, transformed into a highly opinionated television pundit for BT Sport after retirement.

But he admitted that he missed the matchday buzz and took over as manager of L eague Two side Oldham Athletic – whom he supported as a boy – earlier this month.

Keane produced one of the most selfles s performances ever seen on a football field after receiving a yellow card against Juventus, producing a superhuman effort to drag his team-mates to the final.

There had been so much heroic about captain Keane throughout the Treble year, with the Irishman playing 55 of the 63 games in all competitions.

Having done so much to keep United in contention for all three prizes, Keane's season was curtailed as he went off injured in the FA Cup final and then missed the Nou Camp finale.

He remained at United until the 2005-06 season and then retired after a brief spell at Celtic.

A born leader, it was little surprise Keane went into management, taking charge of Sunderland and Ipswich Town before serving as assistant to Martin O'Neill with the Republic of Ireland.

He is now working alongside O'Neill at Championship club Nottingham Forest.

And never one to pull a punch, Keane has wor ked as a hard-hitting pundit on ITV's coverage of the Champions League, World Cup and European Championship.

Jordi Cruyff

Signed from Barcelona in the sum mer of 1996, Cruyff, son of Johan, suffered with injuries and was only around for half of the Treble season before being loaned to Celta Vigo.

The Dutch player hung up his boots in 2010 and entered coaching, first with Valletta in Malta before working as sporting director of Cypriot club AEK Larnaca and Israelis Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Cruyff now works in China as the coach of Super League side Chongquing Dangdai Lifan.

Henning Berg

The Norwegian defender had been a United regular after arriving in 1997 bu t the signing of Jaap Stam restricted his appearances and injuries also got in the way.

While he missed some of the bigger games, Berg still played in 29 matches during the season and earned the full set of medals.

Berg has worked as a coach and manager since 2005 including a brief but calamitous spell at Blackburn Rovers in which they won just one of 10 matches.

He is now in charge of the Norwegian top division team Stabaek.

P.S… where are the Bayern boys now?

Oliver Kahn

After watching those two goals go past him in the final, Kahn went on to have a successful stay at Bayern until 2008 when he retired. He now has his coaching license and also achieved a Master of Business Administration degree. His thesis was on football, of course.

He also still enjoys keeping a clean sheet. Kahn played in a recent charity game and made sure none of the kids scored past him in the penalty shootout.

Lothar Matthaus

Lother Matthaus was approaching the end of his career during United's historic treble win, although he still managed to win German Footballer of the Year during that campaign.

Since then he's managed a number of teams around Europe, as well as the Hungary and Bulgaria national teams. He most recently applied for the Cameroon job, but was among many unsuccessful applicants.

Last year, at the age of 57, he played 50 minutes of FC Herzogenaurach's final league game of the season, the club at which he started his career.

Markus Babbel

After retiring from playing in 2007, Markus Babbel moved on to coaching. He took over a few teams in Germany, taking Hertha BSC to the 2. Bundesliga title in 2011.

He then had a lengthy stay at Swiss team FC Luzern, and is currently manager of Western Sydney Wanderers in the Australian A-League.

Thomas Linke

Defender Thomas Linke played for Bayern Munich until 2005 before going to Red Bull Salzburg and later Bayern's reserve team.

Most recently, he was director of football for FC Ingolstadt 04, a club in the second tier of German football.

Samuel Kuffour

The only non-German player in Bayern's starting XI that night, Samuel Kuffour had a lengthy playing career before retiring in 2009.

In 2014 he controversially missed out on becoming CEO of Kumasi Assnte Kotoko in Ghana. He had announced on TV that the owner had appointed him to the position, but apparently Otumfuor Osei Tutu II didn't like the early announcement, and went back on the decision.

Michael Tarnat

Michael Tarnat's playing career lasted another six years after he left Bayern Munich in 2003. He played a season for Manchester City before playing his final game back in Germany for Hannover 96.

Nowadays, he's back at Bayern again, this time as the leader of the under 12 to under 16 youth teams.

Stefan Effenberg

Midfielder Stefan Effenberg picked up 109 yellow cards in the Bundesliga, an almost ineffable number, and a record for the league.

'The Tiger' retired from playing in 2004, and most recently had a short spell as manager of SC Paderborn. Unfortunately, he was sacked in March of 2016, and the team went on to be relegated to the third tier of German football at the end of the season. Their fall from grace was short lived though, and now they're back in the top flight for next season.

Jens Jeremies

United's Champions League win happened in Jens Jeremies' first season for Bayern Munich, and he stayed there until 2006. Constant knee problems meant he only played 20 matches during his last two years, and he retired early at age 32.

He still owns a box at the Allianz Arena, catching games whenever he can when he's not doing work for his children's charity foundation, which he founded in 2001.

Mario Basler

Mario Basler's playing career technically lasted between 1987 and 2013, however the 50-year-old did have a few forays into management in between.

He took charge of a number of teams in the lower divisions in Germany, and is currently sporting director of FC Lokomotive Leipzig.

He was the one who got Bayern's goal early on in the 1999 Champions League final, and it looked to be the winner until a dramatic final few minutes.

Carsten Jancker

Striker Carsten Jancker played football until 2009, and then went into coaching almost immediately, starting at youth level before moving up to assistant manager of SK Rapid Wien.

He became head coach of SV Horn in June 2017, but was fired a little over a year later in November 2018.

Alexander Zickler

Alexander Zinckler spent 12 years at Bayern Munich, and then went to play at Red Bull Salzburg and LASK Linz before retiring.

In April 2019 Zickler joined Borussia Monchengladbach as part of the coaching staff under new boss Marco Rose.
