Not gonna lie it took him the longest to realize it's YOUR baby WITH him! In his defense, babies can look a bit weird. The baby definitely has your mouth, but his eyes and hairline. Ah. Your child is as upset as any 16 yr old would be in this case, leaving you and Satan no time to think about the fact you made this person. He does his absolute best to stay calm and see things from the kid's POV, but man is it difficult when your teen keeps lying about important stuff, escapes the house as soon as you lower your guard, fights with anyone over and over who doesn't do as they want despite being so so so sensitive... it is tiring.

I wish I could see what they were like as a little kid... why did I think teens were easy?!

Asmo: 13 yrs

Okay he is very quick at recognizing his own kid; he has YOUR and HIS face memorized. Starts sobbing when he realizes what this means; you are going to be parents!! The thought of loving someone sooo much just sends him over the edge. He buys everyone matching clothes, plans so many vacations you are rarely at home, surprisingly good at answering questions your little one has. (Very comforting, builds their confidence as much as he can!!)

Okay, it was obvious the baby is a perfect mix of you two; his eyes are definitely yours though! Beel finds this job to be super important so he spends almost all day with the baby. They play peek-a-boo, he helps your kid to learn to walk and eat with hands, carries them on his shoulder when they get tired. Honestly he doesn't want to let them go back.

Okay, he never would've thought he'd have a kid with you; first, you are dating someone else right now and second, he doesn't really like kids. So this one's gonna be complicated. His face turns red though as he has always liked you but you made it clear he is not really your type. Co-parenting brought you much closer; you could see how calm he can stay when he wants to, and how smart he actually is especially when the 6 years old doesn't stop with their questions. Would it be ethical to use the InstaJock app on some fellow nerds who are being assholes to everyone in our college major? I doubt anyone would miss the old them~

I can’t really speak for the ethics of using a mysterious app to turn asshole nerds into manly jocks, but I do have to warn you of a couple… logistic issues. See, you’re asking if you should give this guy the app. But what you should be asking is if you even can. See, the only people who can invite people to use the app are… well, people who’ve already used the app. The people who’ve already been turned into jocks. There are some ways to get the app on a phone without getting jockified, but trust me when I tell you they’re very difficult, and you basically can’t ever use the phone again without risking being turned into a jock yourself. So if you, a geek, are going to turn these jerks without being transformed yourself, you’re going to need some help. Specifically you’re going to need someone who has already been jocked.

The first thing you have to do is find someone who has the app. That part is fairly simple. Look for anyone who suddenly had a massive growth spurt and change in personality. You can’t always tell if someone is on InstaJock, since with the ‘rewrite history’ setting on you’ll think they’ve always been a jock, but since most people don’t use that feature it should be fairly obvious. If you wanna be extra sure look for a jock with glasses. I’ve mentioned before that InstaJock isn’t able to remove glasses, so if a jock with perfect vision is wearing glasses for no reason you can be sure he’s a recent convert.

The next part, getting them to help you, is much harder. It’s not that they wouldn’t be happy to turn a geek into one of them. The first thing most InstaJock users do after they make their first post is send out a few invites. The problem is they’d be all too happy to transform you too. Don’t misunderstand, they don’t transform every geek they know into jocks. That’s way too smart of an idea for a jock to have. But if you, a geek, bring up the app and suggest using it… well even a jock can put the dots together. Both you and your target would end up jock bros. On the upside you’d probably get along a lot better. On the downside you’d be an entirely different person with a lot less brains.

The only way to do this without ending up a total jock bro is to get the jocks to notice your targets without noticing you. This could be done in a number of ways. You could trick the geeks into acting even more obnoxious so that they naturally draw more attention. You could whisper in the right ears, spread rumors that you know will make their way to the jocks. Or… you could just take a more direct route. Most jocks wouldn’t question an anonymous note. They’d probably get stuck on the spelling of the word anonymous.

That’s all there is really. Find a jock with the app, point him in the right direction, and wait. It shouldn’t be long until the asshole and all his friends are instantly turned into muscular bros. Jocks being jocks, they might still bully nerds at times, but they’ll most likely be so obsessed with their new bodies and bro lifestyle that they won’t have time for it anymore.

There is still some risk though. Once your targets are changed, they’ll have the app too. And if they ever find out you’re the one who got them jockified, or if you do anything that grabs their attention…

So, I had this idea where basically Charlie and Vaggie (mostly Charlie ngl) want to get to know more about the guests at the hotel so they decide to meet/stalk them when they were alive (like, they visit earth + time travel… idk man), and no one in the hotel (except for Husk who heard and told them where to find him, Alastor and reader) knows about this. Anyway, they finally travel to 1927 New Orleans and meet them (and find out that Alastor and reader are actually married), and are surprised about how nice and sweet both Alastor and reader are (or pretend to be lolol). Basically they get to see a glimpse (long ass glimpse) of their lives and how complicated they actually were… It would have some angsty and triggering parts (mostly when talking about their childhoods, sexism, racism, families, etc…), but i’m thinking mostly cute, fun moments (until Charlie says something that has them both like “aha, what did you say? 🙂” )

ANYWAY I need motivation so pls let me know if it’s something you guys would read and, if any of you guys steal my idea I WILL go full demon Alastor mode.

im in the car rn so some of these i couldn’t track down the specific chapter/page bc i dont wanna use all my data :’)

1 - “i’m not like itadori, i have no problem earning 100 points for myself.” or something along that line

one of the things that fascinates me the most about megumi is the way he places value on lives, and this line is just so cool to me. he’d said before this that he saves people unequally, but this shows just how far that goes. he’ll kill anywhere from 20-100 random people so tsumiki and itadori, the two people he cares about and thinks are worth saving more than anyone else, don’t have to get their hands dirty, and their lives hold more value to him than others. it’s also so interesting to me because of the way megumi doesn’t consider himself a good person like tsumiki or itadori, and therefore doesn’t really see himself as worth saving, so it’s just a necessary burden he has to carry as the “bad” person for those two. also add that in w this line, and im on the floor

2 - his battle vs sukuna at the detention facility/“i’m not a hero, i’m a jujutsu sorcerer”

another moment where we get an insight into his ideas on good/bad people and who deserves saving, can you tell i love this aspect of his character? i mean, he’s about to sacrifice himself for itadori to live (hopefully), even though he literally met the guy two weeks ago, because he thinks he’s a good person who deserves saving. it’s the first insight we get into megumi’s thought process, and this was really the moment that made me start paying attention to him more. i also love how he kept a softer expression on his face and didn’t cry until after itadori died, like he didnt want itadori to feel sad or guilty in his final moments im SICK also the fact that he took the name-tag to that guys mom even though he didnt have an interest in saving him, like he was paying a respect to itadori….ugh…anyway yeah i love dissecting the way he values life.

3 - “so start by saving me, itadori”

see as an itafushist of course this had to make the list like this whole chapter has me on the floor but anyway aside from that, i love thinking about this scene because the words he’s saying seem so contrary to how he thinks? like he’s asking to be saved but he doesn’t think he’s worth saving? so it needs an extra layer of consideration. i feel like he really said this more to motivate yuuji (and save tsumiki) than actually wanting to be saved himself. plus the “it’s our fault, don’t be selfish and give up all alone” aaahhahahsj i just love this moment i feel like it shows his character very well….when the idgafer actually very much gaf….

4 - his first domain expansion

hellooo this was so sick and cool and badass of him like i dont think there’s anything i need to say for this. huge character development moment for him too. add this with the simple domain he had in dagon’s domain + the part in the culling games arc where he literally hides himself in the shadows……he’s crazy powerful and i dont wanna hear anything abt it! if u were traumatized like that you’d be curled up on the floor too

5 - “if you die, i’ll kill you” both times

again as an itafushist i couldnt not include this….of course there’s implications for megumi’s character as well but i feel like there’s only so much i can talk about his moral code in one post yk? but yeah i think it just shows how much the people he cares about matter to him

also bonus i love just any culling games megumi, his determination to save tsumiki and make it so itadori doesnt have to kill anyone makes him grow so much as a character and as a sorcerer, i love it sm

Weasley Siblings Giving You A Mani-Pedi! 💅

A friend of mine is from another country/culture and we ended up talking about mani pedis. I helped translate them, and I got to learn about their culture and how they view them. It was cute and wholesome! So it inspired this. ((Also it’s called projecting because when you are in a wheelchair you get self conscious, and also can’t get mani’s because of needing to roll and self conscious about pedi’s because of surgical scars

William ‘Bill’

As the eldest, you just develop a lot of skills. Especially when the baby girl of the family needs female support. As the designated ‘man with long hair’ he was the one to help her with polish a lot. So he would know what he’s doing, but would also want to keep them practical to. He would give you nails that would be simple, clean, but with top coats. Making sure they last, so you can enjoy them. He also gives you the full wash deal. He knows better than anyone. Also, he is 100% the grunge type to always have his nails painted black. He’s just the grunge aesthetic king. Black nails are his favorite. If you ask him to paint you little moons and stars on your fingers and toes, he will try his best. They always turn out stunning. Curse breakers have to have a steady hand after all.

Charlie

Hope you like nails that can stab a bitch. He has worked with dragons for so long, you’ll either end up with nails so flat you’ll never get anything done. Or nails so sharp you can use them for cutting the stems off flowers. Sharp, or dull. No inbetween. Hope you like full toe nails and vampire finger nails. He is also a bit messy with the paint. That’s what cleaning spells, and cotton balls, are for anyway. He’s gonna paint them red every time, hope you know that. He himself doesn’t wear nail polish, because it’s never gonna last long anyway. He did, however, always join in with painting sessions with Ginny. He’s a good older brother!

Percy

He feels it’s to ‘femmine’ and just has an overly traditional view. So never expect him to sport anyway. He does, however, know how to care for his nails. He takes hygiene very seriously, so he would be happy to help keep your nails presentable. Cleaned, nail beds worked on, trimmed, and a transparent top coat to help keep them looking presentable. If he’s in the mood, a French tip will be on the menu. He just doesn’t care, beyond keeping them cleaned. His Percy, what else did you expect?

Fred and George

They are going to have fun with it. It’ll be messy, but it’s going to be so much fun doing it with you. Fred more than happy to do so, and will even ask you to do his. Same for George. They are twins, they love to be cliche and do matchies or complimentary in some fashion. Fred is the messier of the two, while George is able to be more neat and thoughtful. Definitely will work your toes, while Fred works your hands. Expect wild colors, and fun designs. Like glitter hearts, with little beads on them. They wanna have fun with it! They also have their nails painted, typically orange and purple in some fashion. They also love doing gel stuff for meetings, and business events. It’s fashion, and colors. They are the Weasley Twins. Gender conformity? I hardly know her!

Ron

He has no idea what he is doing, please send this man some help. He doesn’t know the difference between gel, and a top coat. He’s mixing the colors, he’s gotten it on his clothes, HERMIONE HELP-! He’s trying his best, but he just has no clue. You’ll need to teach him alot, but he’s willing to learn! He does think it’s neat that you can have a ‘theme’ with your nails. Like paint them as the color of your favorite quidditch team. That’s what gets him on board. Your nails are gonna get so sloppy, but hey. Who hasn’t had sloppy nails? A lot of it will end up being you painting his nails. You are allowed to get more creative with his toes, since less people will see them. Baby steps.

Ginny

The girl of the hour. As a kid, she liked it alot. Helped her stand out against her brothers. Now? She has her own style. Given she’s a Quidditch star, it can be rather rough on the hands. She does, however, really enjoy the subtle styles. Like transparent glitters. That’s her favorite. Just a touch of magic, if you will. She would love to have you more of her model, of what she can do. Have you wear all the fun things she can’t. Like making ombré’s, and tiny designs. It’s a really great way to bond. It helps her with her connection with feminine side. It can be hard. Being raised by six boys, but also genuinely being a Tom Boy. Makes you have a weird connection to what makes a ‘girl a girl.’ So this helps her feel that connection. She loves it. A wonderful way to spend her time with you.

okay. so a tim villain who shares an origin commonality with him. i wanna expand on this a bit more, actually.

like. i do like a good dark reflection (& none for u tommy elliot bc u suck and i hate you) because dark reflections are a good way of highlighting differences. and a tim villain who was in the same boat as tim ie/ just a normal kid at the circus with his family--none for u heartless--is a very fun way to me of a) being able to expand on the horror of going to the circus for a happy family event & it ending in the worst way possible and how that affects the audience and b) by giving another example of how a kid might've been similarly affected to tim allows us to really dig into how different families would've coped, or lack thereof, in a way that can bring us back to expanding on tim's childhood experiences following the circus (which is sorely needed imo).

because okay, obviously--tim wasn't special--he was just one of many kids at the circus that day. what ends up making him special is that his experiences *fundamentally changed him* in a way that soldifies his desire to do good, to be compassionate. like the idea that the drakes weren't the only ones who were out there taking pictures with the acts--it was a totally normal thing that ended up becoming a formative moment & it's not that tim was special--no, the photo was mundane--it's that tim's choices after the fact, to care, to find bruce, to have a desire to bring people together, are what ultimately make him special & worthy of the things he achieved and chose to do bc of his hard work & desire to do good.

so like. tim & villain tim. we start at the circus. two boys there, each with their parents, each end up taking a photo with dick. each is charmed by dick. i'd put some differences here--whereas jack & janet were nervous about tim's first time & received the comfort & tim got the promise of a quadruple flip. other family was maybe a bit pushier & demanding and got a photo with the graysons that way. tim is enamored about dick's smile & costume, villain tim is focused on how famous they seem.

obviously the fall & this makes a mark on both boys--tim because he's thinking about dick & villain tim because he can't believe these famous people just died in front of him. both boys develop an obsession of sorts & this becomes a memory.

and then we can use this as a way of exploring tim's childhood--delve into how his parents chose to send the photo to dick. delve into how started fighting, the decision to send tim to boarding school so he wouldn't be exposed to their marital strife, & how they tried for happy and loving family outings when home--it's complicated, and distant, and lonely but also loving. maybe throw in a thing about how they took tim to therapy and assumed it worked & tim was better now. and then explore villain tim's family which maybe had more strife from the trauma of the circus--his parents also start fighting, but they do it more in front of him leading to him being caught in the middle of the dissolution of their marriage. they did not send their photo to dick--they throw away all reminders of the circus. they don't attempt to go out again as a family. it's more physically present but more strife for villain tim. OR maybe their life is totally fine, but mundane. and having had a glimpse of the famous--villain tim develops a longing for a taste of that world. tim develops an obsession with dick & batman out of concern for dick--villain tim develops an obsession for dick & batman as a form of escapism and bitterness. they both see the quadruple flip--they both realize dick is robin. and they both then figure out bruce wayne has to be robin.

and then they both notice batman goes nuts--but whereas tim is forthright & decides he has to fix things, villain tim chooses to not intervene--because he doesn't see the point in saving anyone, he just thinks knowing is cool. & he's got a slight entitled superiority complex from just knowing he knows. villain tim doesn't think anything of it when there's a new robin--but when he notices that nightwing aka dick grayson is suddenly all buddy buddy with robin, well. he starts to get a little annoyed & jealous...after all, dick was his obsession.

and obviously we go into both lives devolving--tim's loss of parents & eventual adoption by bruce, villain tim's parents also die in different ways. once tim gets adopted villain tim realizes that tim is robin--the one that dick grayson loved. he figures out tim was at the circus that day too...and he figures out how tim put it together and figured it out like him. & he starts to get jealous--after all, on the outside it looks like tim had it all--he was rich, he went to fancy boarding school, he got dick & bruce's love...all the things villain tim wanted when his life was at it's lowest. and he starts to get mad at tim, for stealing what should have been his--after all, he knew the whole time. his life sucked. didn't he deserve those things more? shouldn't those friends and family belong to him? he figured it out too, after all. and his obsession with tim slowly grows and grows. he starts targeting other kids who were at the circus that, but in a way that targets tim--so tim has to find out who and why and how everything is connected.

and when tim finds him, tim has to grapple with seeing someone who was so like yet unalike him. someone who let bitterness and entitlement to the secret be his downfall. who makes tim wonder if he was entitled to this life at all, if he even should have come to dick and bruce that day--he's not special, any single kid could have taken his place after all. his origin at the circus--it could have been any one of them who decided to fix batman if they figured it out. but only tim did. and that's what sets him apart.

as much as i hate sending more people to the circus that night, i think this could be a fun place to put darcy/sparrow as a kid there that night who didn't figure things out & have her and tim work together to save the kids of the audience or something. idk.

have villain tim start targeting the bonds tim made while robin, then we could do stuff with like. young justice, huntress, bruce, dick...

something something i like playing with the ideas of how tim's ability to put himself out there is what is his strength and ultimately sets him apart. that he earned what he got, he wasn't entitled to it.

i need to get this out of my head before i continue clone^2 but danny being the first batkid. Like, standard procedure stuff: his parents and sister die, danny ends up with Vlad Masters. He drags him along to stereotypical galas and stuff; Danny is not having a good time.

He ends up going to one of the Wayne Galas being hosted ever since elusive Bruce Wayne has returned to Gotham. Vlad is crowing about having this opportunity as he's been wanting to sink his claws into the company for a long while now. Danny is too busy grieving to care what he wants.

And like most Galas, once Vlad is done showing him off to the other socialites and the like, he disappears. Off to a dark corner, or to one of the many balconies; doesn't matter. There he runs into said star of the show, Bruce who is still young, has been Batman for at least a year at this point, but still getting used to all these damn people and socializing. He's stepped off to hide for a few minutes before stepping back into the shark tank.

And he runs into a kid with circles under his eyes and a dull gleam in them. Familiar, like looking into a mirror.

Danny tries to excuse himself, he hasn't stopped crying since his parents died and it's been months. He rubs his eyes and stands up, and stumbles over a half-hearted apology to Mister Wayne. Some of Vlad's etiquette lessons kicking in.

Bruce is awkward, but he softens. "That's alright, lad," he says, pulling up some of that Brucie Wayne confidence, "I was just coming out here to get some fresh air."

There's a little pressing; Bruce asks who he's here with, Danny says, voice quiet and grief-stricken, that he's with his godfather Vlad Masters. Bruce asks him if he knows where he is, and Danny tells him he does. Bruce offers to leave, Danny tells him to do whatever he wants.

It ends with Bruce staying, standing off to the side with Danny in silence. Neither of them say a word, and Danny eventually leaves first in that same silence.

Bruce looks into Vlad Masters after everything is over, his interest piqued. He finds news about him taking in Danny Fenton: he looks into Danny Fenton. He finds news articles about his parents' deaths, their occupations, everything he can get his hands on.

At the next gala, he sees Danny again. And he looks the same as ever: quiet like a ghost, just as pale, and full of grief. Bruce sits in silence with him again for nearly ten minutes before he strikes a conversation.

"Do you like to do anything?"

Nothing. Just silence.

Bruce isn't quite sure what to do: comfort is not his forte, and Danny doesn't know him. He's smart enough to know that. So he starts talking about other things; anything he can think of that Brucie Wayne might say, that also wasn't inappropriate for a kid to hear.

Danny says nothing the entire time, and is again the first to leave.

Bruce watches from a distance as he intercts with Vlad Masters; how Vlad Masters interacts with him. He doesn't like what he sees: Vlad Masters keeps a hand on Danny's shoulder like one would hold onto the collar of a dog. He parades him around like a trophy he won.

And there are moments, when someone gets too close or when someone tries to shake Danny's hand, of deep possessiveness that flints over Vlad Masters' eyes. Like a dragon guarding a horde.

He plays the act of doting godfather well: but Bruce knows a liar when he sees one. Like recognizes like.

Danny is dull-eyed and blank faced the entire time; he looks miserable.

So Bruce tries to host more parties; if only so that he can talk to Danny alone. Vlad seems all too happy to attend, toting Danny along like a ribbon, and on the dot every hour, Danny slips away to somewhere to hide. Bruce appears twenty minutes later.

"I was looking into your godfather's company," he says one night, trying to think of more things to say. Some nights all they do is sit in silence. "Some of my shareholders were thinking of partnering up--"

"Don't."

He stops. Danny hardly says a word to him, he doesn't even look at him -- he's sitting on the ground, his head in his knees. Like he's trying to hide from the world. But he's looking, blue eyes piercing up at Bruce.

Bruce tilts his head, practiced puppy-like. "Pardon?"

"Don't." Danny says, strongly. "Don't make any deals with Vlad."

It's the most words Danny's spoken to him, and there's a look in his eyes like a candle finding its spark. Something hard. Bruce presses further, "And why is that?"

The spark flutters, and flushes out. Danny blinks like he's coming out of a trance, and slumps back into himself. "Just don't."

Bruce stares at him, thoughtful, before looking away. "Alright. I won't."

And they fall back into silence.

Danny, when he leaves, turns to look at Bruce, "I mean it." He says; soft like he's telling a secret, "Don't make any deals with him. Don't be alone with him. Don't work with him."

He's scampered away before Bruce can question him further.

(He never planned on working with Vlad Masters and his company; he's done his research. He's seen the misfortune. But nothing ever leads back to him. There's no evidence of anything. But Danny knows something.)

At their next meeting, Danny starts the conversation. It's new, and it's welcomed. He says, cutting through their five minute quiet, that he likes stars. And he doesn't like that he can't see them in Gotham.

Bruce hums in interest, and Danny continues talking. It's as if floodgates had been opened, and as Bruce takes a sip of his wine, it tastes like victory.

("Tucker told me once--") ("Tucker?") ("Oh-- uh, one of my best friends. He's a tech geek. We haven't talked in a while.")

(Danny shut down in his grief -- his friends are worried, but can't reach him. When he goes back to the manor with Vlad, he fishes out his phone and sends them a message.)

(They are ecstatic to hear from him.)

It all culminates until one day, when Danny is leaving to go back inside, that Bruce speaks up. "You know," He says, leaning against the railing. "The manor has many rooms; plenty of space for a guest."

The implication there, hidden between the lines. And Danny is smart, he looks at Bruce with a sharp glean in his eyes, and he nods. "Good to know."

The next time they see each other, Danny has something in his hands. "Can you hold onto something for me?" He asks.

When Bruce agrees, Danny places a pearl into his palm. or, at least, it's something that looks like a pearl. Because it's cold to the touch; sinking into Bruce's white silk gloves with ease and shimmering like an opal. It moves a little as it settles into his hand, and the moves like its full of liquid.

Bruce has never seen anything like it before, but he does know this; it's not human. "What is it?" He asks, and Danny looks uncomfortable.

"I can't tell you that." He says, shifting on his foot like he's scared of someone seeing it. "But please be careful with it. Treat it like it's extremely fragile."

When Bruce gets home, he puts it in an empty ring box and hides the box in the cave. He tries researching into what it is. he can't find anything concrete.

Everything comes to a head one day when Danny appears at the manor's doorstep one evening, soaking wet in the rain, and bleeding from the side.
