unsung benefit i think a lot of ppl are sleeping on with using the public library is that i think its a great replacement for the dopamine hit some ppl get from online shopping. it kind of fills that niche of reserving something that you then get to anticipate the arrival of and enjoy when it arrives, but without like, the waste and the money.

I love all the headcanons about the batkids reaching certain ages and realizing how insane it was that Bruce did (thing) at that age, but I ESPECIALLY love the image of a mid-forties Jason landing a little too hard after his last grappling line and realizing that, holy shit, Bruce’s knees must have been splintering at this point. AND he had a broken back??

Seeing complaints about all the new human characters in the Knuckles series and honestly I think the bigger issue is the addition of so many characters in the first place.

Like I could not care less about these random agents. Give me Sonic and the boys learning to be a family. Give me Knuckles bonding with Maddie, and hanging out with Wade and Carl. Give us more of the characters we already know and care about. Maybe add a couple new townspeople, like the old lady who lives down the street from Sonic and has such crap eyesight she doesn't realize the loud, energetic boy and his friends are aliens.

When you introduce new characters, you have to spend time developing them so the audience knows and cares about them. I'd much rather they use that time to develop the characters we already have.

I think the concept of fictional characters breaking the fourth wall to find out about their own ships is always funny, but I need you to imagine lawlight learning about lawlight for a second. Light's face goes completely blank save for a violent eye twitch while he internally cycles through all five stages of grief and at least 10 emotions not yet recognised by the field of psychology within a matter of seconds, after which he plasters on a very strained polite smile and asks what "law" stands for in the most fake saccharine voice you've ever heard. L tries to murder Light with his bare hands. Light decks L in the face while getting choked out and weasels away, politely excusing himself for a minute, then L drops dead immediately after. Love loses, roll credits
