I have talked about this a great deal before, and for good reason. It does happen a lot, and it has always been like this. At least I can speak for the years I have been in the fandom as the first post I ever made properly was about this exact topic. (The “bromance” issue) It’s short and a bit outdated, and honestly we also have to admit that while a lot of people still keep insisting on Vmin not being shippable and being “brozoned or friendzoned” there are also a lot more people who both ship Vmin and even see actual real potential in them being more. (You can even tell by the increase in analysis here on tumblr.)

Personally regarding the “issue” of how Vmin are viewed I am no longer as annoyed with it as I used to be. I do think it’s mainly a problem when other shippers come and say it about Vmin, because that is frankly just hypocritical. I have also written Normalizing Vmin or “Vmin” and Shipping vs Believing that explains more about my views on the subject of friendzoning and shipping as a whole. (Personally I feel Vmin get more friendzoned than brozoned, but that’s just a minor detail.)

But your question was about why you think the fandom brozone/friendzone Vmin so much, so let’s get to that.

First of all I obviously think there are several reasons, but this is all based on my speculations after being in this fandom for so long and what I have seen. Every person could have their own very different reasons to why they think the way they do. I think all the reasons play a part, but might not be equally important and might also not apply to every single person, but rather affect the fandom as a whole in one way or another.

So let’s break it down to the things I think play the biggest role in why Vmin are seen as platonic, regardless of if they are or not, just simply compared to a lot of the other ships.

1. They have since the start used the label “friend” or “best friend” to describe each other. In particular the label “chingu” of course, which in actuality is used to described someone of the same age that you are close with.

2. The English translation and constant use of “friend” will when repeated constantly get stuck in people’s minds and affect how they view a dynamic. Just how “hyung” gets translated to brother, but a lot less well known and noted by the fandom. Basically the western fandom will likely get even more platonic feelings towards Vmin because of the word being translated to friends.

3. Compared to the other “chingus” in the group, Namjoon and Hobi, there is much more emphasis on Vmin as the same age and as being close and best friends. Namjoon himself made a comment on this. I also think the use of “friends” or more recently “soulmates” by editors is a reply to this, basically that the editors too use these words because they are used a lot by the members first. Hence it gets doubly reinforced. Every time we hear it or read it we get another reminder of Vmin being friends.

4. Their early dymanics were less soft. A lot of their interactions were teasing like Taehyung’s “Jiminie pabo” and fans saw it as two siblings or friends rather than as the “teasing your crush”. Basically people didn't read their behavior as romantic. When BTS first started Vmin already called each other best friends, and that stuck, even more so in combination with people basically not seeing any "spark" between them. I would call this preference in a lot of cases.

5. There were in the beginning already a lot of competition between ships. Jimin often focused in a lot on JK and basically flirted with him while he at the same time brushed off Tae when he did similar towards Jimin. Meanwhile Tae and JK had a very physical relationship as well and JK often seemed the most open and comfortable with Tae. I think both of Vmin kind of pushing themselves on and teasing JK was a dynamic many shippers like. Meanwhile you aslo had Yoonmin getting popular due to Yoongi seeming a bit soft on Jimin and Jimin being very open and loud with wanting attention from Yoongi.

6. Some people find Vmin's dynamics boring. To a lot of shippers “too” obvious closeness might be a little boring and get labeled as just being friends or bros. This was in particular evident in the early days of Vmin. It also matters for fan content, and we can see a lot of Vmin fiction use a bit more “soft” tropes and might not get as many readers as more conflict driven plot. For me I would also include Vmin’s bias towards each other as another point here, that people might see as too much if they are a couple and have to hide. Basically a lot of people don’t see friendship to romance as the most interesting, or the "obvious and equal dynamic" as interesting. BTS said Vmin were the closest or the “best duo” etc. but since all of them were close people picked based on preference for their ship. Of course this still applies to shippers now, they fall for the type of dynamic they like, but now they also have a easier time getting convinced by material from other shippers. Having analysis is another thing that can make a ship more appealing as well.

7. Speaking of, fan content getting created and spread will reinforce certain images. Reading BTS fanfiction or watching moment videos you will see a lot of Vmin being “the best friends”. Basically once the image is used a lot, it will get more spread and used even more. It will be a constant in many places and when talking to a lot of people. It will also of course pull people in to other ships that makes Vmin impossible. Not to mention the big ships will get bigger and spread more easily.

8. Now this might not be true for a lot of people. But I have come across a lot of fans who seem to think being a friend is something that makes romance less likely. For me I want my partner to be my best friend as well, but a lot of people do see these two things as mutually exclusive. Many see friend and lover as two very different things and that you have one best friend and one partner, not someone that are both. Basically just the view on friendships and labels and how that might lead to some feeling being romantically involved is something separate from a close friendship.

9. Other ships spreading the narrative even further. It’s easier to just call Vmin friends, honestly. It’s often hard to deny their closeness (not that you should have to just because you ship something else, doesn’t change reality). But Vmin being so close and being part of the three biggest ships in BTS of course their label as best friends will be spread and used even more by those shippers. And because of the size of those ships it eventually gets turned into not just those shippers views, but the whole fandom’s.

10. More recently I would also say fear is a reason why people push back and try to remind the fandom that Vmin are “just friends”. Because we have very bad examples of what happens when shipping goes too far, basically it makes many non shippers try to protect Vmin from the same faith. Not a bad thing (again, as long as you don’t ship something else and is a hypocrite), but it surely does further the narrative of Vmin being very platonic. (A bad group is of course included here, which are homophobic fans, but since they feel the same about all ships it’s just a sidenote.)

11. Lastly, and probably most influentual, is the fact that Vmin and BTS friendzone Vmin in many ways, constantly.

I won’t go into all the examples, but I think we all know a few moments even at the top of our heads by now.

I mean.... They called their song about being soulmates and wanting to be together for eternity "Friends". And maybe that's what they are, but they sure like to remind us.

So we have times when BTS or Vmin basically remind us and spells it out even more clearly that Vmin are FRIENDS. They use it very very often, and personally to me sometimes at very weird moments. Even so, the things most fans see will of course be what they say. Vmin are friends and that is it.

And at face value that is true. I just personally don’t see being best friends (and soulmates) as meaning they can’t be more as well. Especially since they wouldn’t even be able to say more than that. I mean, if Vmin are basically described as the closest in BTS, then why does that mean they have less odds of being real? Being friends doesn’t have to equal being only friends.

However, Vmin have in fact said things against being interested/denied the other, I don’t want to lie. I am sure some would see this as 100% truth and use it againt the possibility of Vmin being real. Like when Taehyung basically said he would rather date Hobi.

However, Jimin said he would definitely choose Taehyung to date, but that gets ignored by people who ship Jimin with others, so it’s really just about choosing what fits your narrative. All ships have contradicting moments or statments or answers where they answer two different things at two different times in general.

We also have how Jimin answered back to Taehyung about liking men by saying he isnt “like that” to Taehyung.

There are moments like this, and even though they might be small and forgotten by most I think they could in a sense still have registered in some fans who then basically managed to spreak the “vmin are just bros/friends” into the more common perception.

However we also have opposite moments when they try to appeal to each other, or like when Taehyung asks Jimin to be the girlfriend etc. and personally though I do take these things into account it’s a bit like when you see members say “men can’t do this or that” and it doesn’t necessarily mean they can’t be queer. To me even though there are things against most ships, there are still a lot that speaks for some, and that’s why I remain unsure.

Sometimes you might get more defensive or nervous if there is some truth in there as well. It’s all about interpretation, even though I don’t want to blatantly ignore what they say. But since they have said and done directly contradicting things (like how Jimin said he would choose to date Tae while also saying he doesn’t act like “that” to Tae, or how they have changed a lot of answers in general) I also don’t see it as something definitely against them being more. Not to mention time can change things as well.

In the end though this isn’t about what other things there might be that show Vmin might be more than friends or not, but simply reasons for the fandom’s view of them as platonic. (Personally I think they do a lot of things not normally seen as platonic, which is obviously the reason for me having this blog and writing anlysis on them.)

So, Vmin is friendzoned by the group, and by shippers of bigger ships, and even by themselves at times. Then everything else is reinforcement and inability to view them as anything more than friends.

There are some other things I think might play a part in it as well, but most comes down to personal preferences or what you get exposed to. Like who is the bias of the shipper and what things do they come across to make them a shipper, what kind of dynamics do they like etc. (It's more likely for someone who "falls" for JK to have JK in his ship, for example. Because they will focus on him and notice his interactions and then likely fall for a certain dynamic.)

History is a huge factor in general, and trying to change the perspective of the fandom might not be easy. But with a lot of new fans coming in and seeing with their own eyes how Vmin have behaved the last two years in particular, I think we can see a change.

Vmin are loved by the majority of this fandom, and that’s far better than them having people be anti them because of their ship being too big or too toxic. So in the end I do feel it’s a good things for them and for us that Vmin is being viewed as mostly platonic while they manage to slowly include more “normally not platonic things” into their platonic box. (I mean we are at a point where they can casually mention sleeping together and sing about being soulmates and hold hands in public).

Poland’s Thoughts on the OM Angel Event

AKA- I’m trying to bridge this divide in the fandom that only seems to worsen with every piece of new content

So, I just finished the new event, but before I even finished it I saw in the tags a lot of people posting about it and the majority of the reactions were negative. There’s a chance I’m reading the language in the posts a little too strongly, but I think that a lot of this anger towards the developers is misplaced, and this isn’t just limited to the OM fandom, but it is one example that can be representative of a growing issue in how we as fans consume media and interpret content, especially when it extends to how we interact with the creators of said content.

To begin, I understand what people are angry about with this event. They disliked the way the brothers were forced against their will (consent is a term I am seeing thrown around on a few posts) to act righteous, due to the bangles Simeon gave on them that were imbued with magic. People are upset seeing the brothers acting so unlike themselves, Diavolo’s role in it, as both an instigator and bystander, and how Simeon was characterized throughout this event as he largely did not see much wrong with what was happening.

I think the reason so many players are leaving this event with a sour taste is because of the lack of closure. I was taking notes on the entire event and waiting for the end to undo everything like usual and we get the characters discussing how happy they were to be back to normal again or we at least get some of their own thoughts on the experience. I was surprised that we did not get that this time, instead, we only see all the brothers continue to act unlike themselves under the spell, way too cheery and perfect with only Lucifer having partially broken the spell and watching on amused, acting as another bystander in the event. We are given the implication that the rest will return to normal in due time (somewhat like the ending of the Paws event, if I am recalling correctly) but it’s not concrete enough. We should have been given at least an extra few lines of dialogue of the characters back to normal giving their comments on the situation they went through, but because we didn’t, they don’t have any autonomy still, and we as the players are left uncertain about what is our interpretation and what is canon.

However, despite us missing this ending scene, I think the narrative of the event is undeniably still about the idea of one’s true self being important, flaws and all, and I think a lot of players are missing this concept.

When I said earlier that I think many fandoms are suffering from this problem, I’m referring to this problem where fans will gleam a theme from a work, often times it is a theme meant to showcase something problematic, and then the fans will turn on the authors and go “well it’s problematic so the creators’ are in the wrong”, forgetting that the only reason they’re interpreting it as being wrong is because the creators’ intentionally added that frame into the story. I have more strong feelings about this in the BNHA fandom, but for now, let’s stick to the OM fandom and this specific event:

1) Players are mad that the brothers were forcibly changed and not acting like themselves.

This is a valid thing to be angry about, but I am surprised seeing how many people are ignoring the fact that you as the player are given options to acknowledge that you dislike the “righteous” way the characters are being forced to behave. There are multiple points throughout this event where, when the brothers are apologizing or explaining the MC how much they’ve changed, that you can chose an option to say “I liked the old you”, “There’s something off,” or something akin to that. OM does have an issue with a lot of the dialogue options for the MC being a bit too passive, but in this event, you are not forced to like the behavior. During my playthrough of it, I actually refused to kiss some of the characters and almost exclusively told them I disliked the way they were acting even if it was something good like giving to charity in Mammon’s case.

In terms of the brothers’ being forced to act this way against their will, although the overall event does not paint this in a dark tone (it treats the brothers’ actions the same way it does any of their individual scenes with MC in other events), there are pieces of dialogue that help create this theme of choice and free will. In the first set of lessons, Beel says to the MC “It’s something I want to do, not because I’m obligated to.” A few lessons later, Belphegor says “It’s the first time I’ve felt so free.” There is blatant irony in these lines because we as the players know that there is nothing about freedom or wants/personal desires coming from these characters in this state. It’s not even dramatic irony because the MC witnessed and knows that the brothers are under a spell, hence why you can still say you miss how they were acting and that Solomon even acknowledges that things feel wrong. When I see players comment about how they are upset about the brothers being forced to act this way, I don’t understand how they are mad at the writers when it is written in the way that you are supposed to know their words are disingenuous. I will admit that the light hearted tone does offset it and make it seem as if the developers are painting their actions in a good light, but we as the MC are constantly given the option to say that something is wrong. This is not a matter of the developers seeing it as a “good” thing, but they leave it up to the player to make the choice to choose whether to embrace the way the brothers are acting as a positive thing (and personally all the options where you agree with the controlled actions of the brothers’ made me feel as though- if I chose them- that MC was not in a healthy, truthful relationship with the brothers).

In terms of the “consent” argument being thrown around, it is a valid word choice to use in this situation, however, I am surprised to see no one talking about the scene with Lucifer directly involving consent with MC. In lesson 1-12, when you are in his room with him, he asks you to get on the bed, and then pushes you down before the spell controlling him corrects his actions and he apologizes. It is not shown that he pushes you, but the flow of the scene is this-

Lucifer asks MC to get on the bed. Noise is then heard as if someone was putting weight on the bed and Lucifer says “You really trust me quite a lot,” before he says “I didn’t mean to push you down like that.”

Some players may have read it as the MC getting on the bed themselves, and whether Lucifer pushed them onto the bed is debatable, but it’s heavily implied that he at the very least pushes you down onto the bed. I think if anything, the use of the word consent in terms of this event needs to be applied here, as Lucifer forces the MC down without their consent (player is not given an option about whether to comply with his request) before the angelic-form makes him apologize for what he did. I normally am against the people who dislike how evil the demons act (they’re demons! They’re meant to be acting sinful or wrong or disagreeable with our own morals) but I just thought that if people are going to talk about consent in terms of the brothers, we should acknowledge how the theme of consent and choice is also shown in scenes like this, where the spell on Lucifer actually does a good thing by correcting his behavior when he was doing something wrong.

However, there is one more point I want to make about this event, and it follows this discussion about the demon’s behavior-

2) This event, had it been given closure, would’ve had a strong theme of accepting oneself.

This is most clearly seen with Levi and Satan. With Satan, we are aware of his dislike of his rage, his wrath. He does not like to get angry, and puts on masks to try and seem better than his core sin makes him feel. However, when he gets turned into an angel, he specifically says:

“Perhaps that’s why I feel so strange. I don’t feel like myself at all. I end up thinking about if I were an angel, would i have looked and felt like this? And then... I get a foreboding feeling. Like, my heart... becoming tranquil. Normally, that wouldn’t seem like something bad right? Something isn’t right.”

Once again, I would like to point out that the reason that players are able to look at this event and say, “The brothers are being forced to not act like themselves, and that’s bad and upsets me as a player” is because the writers themselves are writing into the story that it is bad. Satan is directly acknowledging that he dislikes what is going on, hence why we as players can say that something is wrong. This isn’t my core analysis of this dialogue, but once again, it is something I am growing tired of seeing people attack or complain about the creators for writing something that is “bad”, as if the creators did not write in the fact that “this is a bad thing.” You can criticize media and the way things are written, but if you are going to ignore the fact that what you’re claiming the writers are ignoring has already been written, your criticism holds little weight.

Moving on, my main takeaway from this scene was that Satan, a character who has spent so long loathing his anger and how he loses himself during it, was upset by his lack of it. We as the MC got very little dialogue in this scene to push the idea further, but to me it was clear that had the story been given more closure, or the events having more story to include more focus on each character, we could have gotten more of a direct statement from Satan of something like “I always disliked my rage, but without it, I don’t feel like me. I’m who I am because of my rage, it’s not something I should be ashamed of.” If that had been included, I’m sure players would have once again been much happier about this event. However, we shouldn’t need such a direct statement of character development to understand that development has happened. One of the biggest techniques about writing dialogue is the idea that when people talk, they don’t say everything, which I see a lot of fandoms griping about when characters don’t directly express things like trauma or abuse in concrete terms or have conversations where they directly say things like “You did something bad to me and I won’t forgive you for that” (I can’t think of the best example right now because it’s 2 AM but again, I have better examples when talking about the BNHA fandom). Ernest Hemingway and his iceberg technique focused on this idea of people rarely saying what they mean, and it’s a much more realistic approach to dialogue.

I’m not saying the writing of OM is anything near the works of great writers. However, I am saying that we shouldn’t need characters to be so unnatural and direct in their dialogue to be satisfied that development has been had or resolution has been met. It’s not natural for them to outright say so, and as readers we shouldn’t need such explicit confirmation of such things (note: when using “confirmation” I am only talking about instances of development, and not things like confirmed representation of LGBTQ or characters expressing their sexuality. Those are entirely different situations requiring different discussion. Please do not misconstrue my words).

Back to the themes of the choice and accepting oneself, I want to end this on the character that truly got the short end of this event- Levi. Levi was so instantaneously changed to have righteous actions and a similar mindset, and there was very little discussion on it within the game itself. However, although Levi does not express much outside of his “controlled” state in this event, when he talks about his “old lifestyle”, we as players can still get a lot from it:

“Huh? My identity? Was my identity solely based on me being an otaku? I’ve been using anime, manga, and games to hide all this time... Always looking down on others while locking myself away in my own world. But not anymore! Instead of spending all my time and energy on 2D stuff, I’m going to spend it on nurturing my relationships in the real world. Doesn’t that sound wonderful?”

It does not sound wonderful, because it brings up the questions of “Was there anything actually wrong with Levi’s lifestyle to begin with?” Sure, he was a shut in, and that can’t be healthy, and he had a bad self loathing issue, but, he found happiness in anime, manga, and games. He found happiness in sharing it with you the player. We know this from the main storyline, and so we know that Levi is obviously not truly thinking this, but unfortunately we never get to see a conclusion of his thoughts on this, and he is given no autonomy by the end of the event to comment on his words here. I will agree with people that Levi’s is the most upsetting, partially because it makes my fanfiction writer mind spin into thoughts of him trapped inside his body wanting to keep his things but being forced to throw them out. That is upsetting. But it is not something we should be attacking or getting mad at the writers for, because if you are reading the story right, it can be seen as meant to evoke that reaction. Likely if you are Levi stan, this scene upset you, and you should be unhappy to see him acting this way. You should know something’s wrong, because there was nothing wrong with how Levi was living before. But, the last big theme of the event is the idea of good vs. evil, or right vs. wrong, and as we are playing a game where the main idea is to romance demons, we are always going to be skewed to see the traditional “good” side (of Simeon and the angels) as not truly good, and the “bad” side (of the demons) as not really that bad. We can sympathize with them, we understand and feel upset at seeing them slighted by what is considered “good. I saw one person bring up the idea of this event evoking questions of ethics, and I agree, but I’m better at explaining things through philosophy. This event, especially for Simeon’s character, brings to mind questions of if the Celestial Realm in the game’s universe is actually good and has the best interests of others in mind, or if it is actually deeply flawed by its staunchness to what is considered goodness? (We can see similar discussions in shows like Good Omens.)

To conclude, I just want to finish up on Simeon’s character in this event. I saw many exclamations of “why would he do this? What’s wrong with him?” and I like to present the idea that Simeon is much stronger of a manipulator than we have been viewing him through the lens of “holy angel”. He writes TSL based on the brothers, he likely views them as content to inspire him. He does not care for them as deeply as we as the fandom may be twisting him to be. Overall, I find all these problems with reading and analyzing media to stem from people having trouble interpreting morally gray characters, themes, and actions, and often they claim an author is making something black and white when the author is actually directly telling the reader things are not black and white. OM is such a small fandom in the grand scheme of things, but rather than me rehashing an argument in a much larger fandom, this seemed like a refreshing, safer place to start.

Hello!So there's always been this theory that he tian will join the family business.but dosen't this a contradiction to everything he had done until now? he tian wanted mo to be good and even he tian was trying to be his best self throughout all this time. so he tian joining the business will be like joining the "dark side" at least that what he tian also thinks. so I don't know what reason there would be to make him join because he would need to do some bad things if he would be part of it, im afraid it would ruin his whole process

However, your question had an interesting character development angle that I don’t think I have pondered before as such. And I feel like the recent chapter had some curious crumbs that also got me thinking about this whole thing again. So, at the risk of repeating myself, I am once again diving into this.

This has actually been one of the things that the new chapter got me to reconsider. I have heard the theory of HT potentially working for his family in the future, and I have always thought it very likely based on the Christmas specials.

I still think he might end up in the family business, but after the newest chapter, my focus somewhat shifted (ch. 348):

In the Christmas specials, the boys are at college age. ZZX is going to a university while JY is catching up on his high school education. MGS seems to be working, but the pile of books hints that he might be studying something, too.

Considering the He family a bit more, I actually think HT might be going to a university in the Christmas specials. Despite their presumably criminal line of work/involvement, I think the He family puts importance on intelligence and prestige. HT always scores top of his class. He is viewed and treated like an apple of the eye by the teachers, their prized pupil. I also think that if HT is to inherit the position of his family, he is expected to be smart and educated. Not to mention, prestige always means a lot of money which attracts powerful people to rub shoulders.

So, HT having a university degree (in business, perhaps) would make sense in my head. And if Mr. He is located abroad, HT is probably going to a foreign university as well. Of course, that doesn't mean he can’t be already somewhat involved in the family business by then, but I would say it’s entirely possible he’s still being groomed.

But this was just a side note. Whether he is already working for his father or otherwise getting close to that doesn’t really change things that much regarding your question.

This is actually something I haven't really thought about before. At least, not in so many words. I was talking about HT’s future with a friend of mine, and she said that she wishes HT won’t “give up on himself” in the sense that he stops rebelling against this father/family. Especially after everything he’s been through with MGS trying to make him fight for his own future and not submit. What would be the point of him telling MGS to be his own person if HT himself then joins the dark side even if it’s against his will?

Before I get to my thoughts regarding all that, I think it’s important to remember that the future is very much a question mark to us still. Even though the fact that HT seems to be staying abroad (among other things) gives us a base to make certain guesses, we still don't know for sure what he is up to in the future-related chapters. It’s good to keep that in mind when pondering the overall character development.

But I do take my friend’s and your points, dear anon. I could see why it would be disappointing if HT basically undid the progress of working on himself and went against his own principles. I could understand why it would be sad to see his fight have been for naught in the end.

But...as much as I do see where you’re coming from, I still kind of prefer the idea of HT getting involved with the family business one way or another in the future. Instead of disappointing, I would find it realistic and more interesting. HT having to compromise on his rather idealistic principles but still having them represented in MGS would have the kind of angsty layers that personally appeal to me. Both the good and bad being present in HT’s characters in a realistic way - imagine the complexity of that! The bitter-sweetness of “don’t become what I became”. Also, HT trying to keep the world of his family and whatever he has with MGS in the future separate would definitely be my kind of mafia ship aesthetic.

As far as potential reasons why HT might join his family business in the future, I think there are some possible reasons that have been hinted at in the current timeline already. I have talked about these before in the previous answers I linked above, so I won’t go as deep into this topic.

First of all, I think the He family has the kind of resources and influence that could help HT protect his friends and people who are dear to him (ch. 244, 245, 267):

HT’s character seems to have this contradiction that he despises his family’s behavior and way of dealing with things, but he will take advantage of that manpower and influence when it suits him. Granted, he does use them to protect his friends and I’m sure relying on them is less than ideal in his mind, but it still goes against him “being his own person”. In the end, resources matter and even HT can’t ignore that which makes his situation realistic.

Ultimately I think HT using his family could lead to him owing to them and basically being made to submit to his family’s will that way. In fact, I would say it has already happened a couple of times. At the back of one of those incidents, HT had to agree to go see his father. I don’t see why that arrangement couldn’t escalate further in the future as the steaks go higher. I think it very likely that in the future he will keep sacrificing his own ideals and principles to protect the good people who don't deserve to be oppressed by people like Mr. He.

Secondly, despite everything, this is still HT’s family we’re talking about, and I think he is more hung up on them than he would like to admit (ch. 229, 251, 252, 292):

I think the topic of family is very difficult for HT and he has a love-hate relationship with them. It’s painful to be disappointed and let down by the people you love as instinctively as one loves their family. HT has clearly been put through a lot of pain and trauma by the dangerous and ruthless life his family has chosen to lead.

But I don’t think even that has made HT completely given up on them. Perhaps not even when it comes to his father. I’m not sure if he is naive enough to expect them to change their lifestyle, but on some level, he might be waiting for something. When it comes to our families, the human mind works in mysterious ways. It’s easy to stay in a toxic environment and wait for something to change. And really, there are only two things that can change in those situations: them or us. Either they change themselves for better or worse or we make a decision whether we stay or leave for ourselves. I would say HT’s situation belongs in that last category where he is at this mental crossroad of trying to be separate from his family but also not being able to quite see it through.

Which brings me to another detail that got me thinking in the latest chapter. The issue of HC’s view on Mr. He that has been brought up before in the comic already (ch. 252, 348):

I think when it comes to their father and family in general, HC and HT are in very different kinds of mental positions. As the older son, HC has been subjected to the teachings and principles of their father for longer. I’m not sure if I would say he’s internalized them as such, but he has at least accepted them as a way to live his life. As an older brother, he has also naturally fallen into the role of responsibility a lot more than HT. He hasn’t had the position and freedom to rebel like HT has.

So, when HC tries to defend their father to HT, I think it’s wise to take his “background” into account. I’m not saying he’s lying when he believes their father does care about HT, but I think his disposition as the older brother makes him somewhat biased.

And yet...

And yet, I’m curious about how the new chapter brought this issue up again. Whenever HT accuses their father of just seeing his sons as pawns for his own gain, HC always seems genuinely taken aback by the outburst and how HT is talking about their father. The way HC said HT will “understand in the future” especially piqued my curiosity. Does HC know something about their father that HT doesn’t? Something that could - if not justify - then at least begin to explain his apparent ruthlessness? If that was explained to HT, would there be a chance that he would be less declined to join whatever his family is doing? I would even go as far as asking is HT waiting for a reason that would make thinking about his family less painful if there was something behind it all? Is it possible that HT had learned something like that by the time of the Christmas specials?

Now, that would be interesting.

Overall, I do get why it would feel like a setback in HT’s character development if he indeed ends up working for his family. But personally, I would be more interested in the complexity and realism of him being a part of both good (MGS and their relationship) and bad (the family business) at the same time. In my opinion, including the idea that life is much more complicated and grey-shaded than noble ideals would be really interesting to see.

Pairing: 12th Doctor x Reader & 13th Doctor x Reader

Summary: The Doctor thought you died along with everyone and yet here you are under the clutch of the Master.

Warning: ooc, angst, obsession, mention of mental abuse, plot holes as usual, etc.

After saying goodbye with her fam, the Doctor made her way toward the matrix chamber where the deranged Master and his CyberMaster are, bringing with her the weapon of destruction that she intend to use on them and herself in the process.

She thought of the telepathy she shared earlier with the Master and how he said he has one last surprise for her. Knowing him, she need to be on guard because it will definitely be unpleasant.

But she never thought that the surprise he mentioned would be...you.

As she entered the hall where she supposed to meet the Master, she saw a young woman standing alone in the middle of the room. She felt like she was punched in the gut when the woman turned around and revealed herself.

"(name)?" She called out hesitantly.

You didn't reply at first. You look terrified. Your eyes are glassy as you glanced at the Doctor.

The Doctor blinked her eyes a few times as if trying to make sure what she saw is not a figment of her imagination. Though if it is, she has no idea why it would show her you. She raised her hand as if wanting to reach out to you.

You took a step back away from her, making her confused. You looked almost afraid of her.

"(name), it is me, the Doctor...." She said softly in placating manner as if you are an injured animal need extra handling.

You shook your head as tears fell down your cheek. "I didn't know where you were. She was the only one there. I didn't know what to do...so I just did what he told me." You said in a hoarse and trembling voice.

The Doctor is confused, trying to make sense what you are saying before she realized that you are talking about Missy back in the mondas ship. Her mouth dropped open in horror at what you are implying.

You first met the Doctor when he was in his eleventh incarnation. You are Clara's best friend. Clara had told you about the Doctor when you accidentally got involved in an incident with alien.

The Doctor took you on a trip to show off time travel. You were awed by the Tardis and the weirdly energetic Time Lord.

As the Doctor invited you to stay for a few more trips, you quickly realized that both the Doctor and Clara addicted to danger and excitement. You weren't like them. The trips started with fun and safe and then quickly turned into lot of running and try not to get killed at. It wasn't your cup of tea. You love the part where you see wonder but you dislikes the next part.

You didn't stay full time on Tardis, prefering to stay on Earth where life is boring but safe. You couldn't keep up with the glee of the unknown trouble that the Doctor and Clara shared. And you were fine with it.

Once in a while though, Clara did convince you to take some time off and travel with them for one trip to a special place that she knew you would have love to be part of or when you are feeling burnt out with your daily life, you would phone Clara and asked her to come pick you up.

You got along quite well with the Doctor. He was a funny man and he likes you enough to let you join him and Clara for trips to see the wonder of universe.

You felt like third wheel though whenever those two started their flirting-not-flirting thing. You asked Clara about it and she admitted that she fancy him but she was unsure how to go about it. The man is practically an immortal alien and she is just a human.

You found out about Clara's echoes eventually and she had explained that she splintered herself to save the Doctor by jumping into his timestream.

You weren't there when the Doctor regenerated. But when you did finally met the new Doctor, you know you are in trouble because his new appearance caught your fancy. You always have a thing, a weakness for older gentleman and the new Doctor could almost pass for one if one could ignore or manage his rudeness.

Oh and Clara know all about your little crush on the Doctor and teases you mercilessly. You were not pleased especially considering that your best friend has dibs on the Doctor first.

To your surprise, Clara give you the go ahead to try and woo the Doctor, not that you would. He is an immortal alien, remember? Same issue still applied in this case. But you were surprised with Clara's revelation about how the new Doctor has basically sit her down and said he was not her boyfriend. Ouch. That made you more determined to never acted on your stupid crush.

It was awkward at first trying to interact with the new Doctor as you were so used with chin boy, Clara's nickname for Eleventh Doctor. But with a few more meeting, you would eventually grew fond of him. You didn't know what he think of you but he might be tolerating you for Clara. You thought you were in your best behavior around him. You never flirted with him or provoke him.

Clara is truly his best mate, able to keep him on his toes, rein him in when he deliberately being cruel. As much as you have a bad crush on him, you couldn't handle his rudeness.

Clara eventually dated a man called Danny Pink. When the Doctor found out, he was livid. He materialized Tardis in your living room and proceed to complain about it to you of all people.

You tried to calm him down and convinced him that if he care for Clara, he should be happy for her.

Then come the fight. Clara told you about what happened with the moon and how the Doctor abandoned her alone. You were helpless to try to console her as she made a decision that she was done with the Doctor.

Of course, not long after Clara left, the Doctor came to you, babbling about how he didn't understand what he did wrong to Clara and so you set him straight. He was genuinely afraid now that his impossible girl will truly left him. So you suggested one last hurrah between them in hope in that one trip they could find a common ground again.

Later on, Clara remained with the Doctor, apparently they have made up nice. You were glad for them.

Clara is inconsolable. Her boyfriend died. She was mostly numb. You tried to comfort her but she mostly ignored you.

Desperate, you turned to the Doctor for help eventhough you know he is socially awkward. But Clara is also his best friend so you demanded that he did something for her to help her.

"What she need is time and space to mourn." The Doctor said.

"But I'm worried for her. She is not eating or sleeping well. She is not grieving properly."

"There is a proper way of grieving?" He raised impressive eyebrows at you mockingly.

You rolled your eyes. "You know what I meant."

It was then he received a call from Clara which make you panicked as if you are receiving a phone call from a crush much to the Doctor's amusement.

You glared at him and told him to drop you home before he goes to Clara.

"What happened to comforting her together?"

"You are her thing."

The Doctor look insulted. "I'm not her thing!"

You almost laughed at how insulted he look like. "I just meant you and her are...have this bond, you know, special one...and this trips on the Tardis are always yours and hers. And she obviously need you more than she need me. So..."

The Doctor looked uncomfortable, probably has no idea what to say to you so he dropped you home without more fuss.

Next thing you know there were red alerts as citizens are told to stay at home away from the street. From the news, you realized Earth is invaded by alien...again. You recognized the cybermen. You are worried for the Doctor and Clara.

You were relieved when the day after Clara contacted you, apologizing for not keep in touch with you. She told you the Doctor has gone, returned back to Gallifrey, his home planet.

As months passed with Clara withdrawn and depressed, you contacted the Doctor, leave a voicemail telling him that Clara need him and that she still didn't cope well with the loss of Danny.

You didn't receive any reply. But a week later, the Doctor suddenly show up during your date night with an older gentleman that is your type and the Doctor made a mess of the date. You were furious with him.

"What do you mean that Clara didn't cope well with the loss of PE? Danny is back, isn't he? Clara told me so!" The Doctor approached the table where you sat with your date without any greeting and started babbling urgently.

"Doctor? What are you doing here?" You hissed furiously. "Danny is dead, remember?"

The Doctor started talking really fast at you before stopped and noticing your date. He then ruined it by asking if the man is your father. You really wanted to drop your head on the table right at that moment.

Uncomfortable with the Doctor, your date politely asked if they can reshedule their date in another time but you know he wouldn't ever call you back now. The date is going well too and now thanks to the Doctor, it is now ruined. At least, your date still paid for dinner despite your insistent to let you pay everything. You apologized to him and watched him left with a sigh before glaring at the Doctor.

The Doctor shrugged innocently and grinned sheepishly at you.

You sighed in resignation and led him back into his Tardis where you both talked about Clara. The Doctor admitted of lying about Gallifrey.

You rolled your eyes at him. "You are both idiot. It is obvious you miss each other. Don't be stubborn and go to her, Doctor, tell her the truth, tell her you know Danny is not back."

The Doctor said he will think about it. He seemed to think Clara is better without him. You wanted to slap him so much for his stupidity.

Eventually you learned that Clara is back traveling on the Tardis with the Doctor. According to them, santa claus made them do it.

The Doctor now dressed like a rock star and he show off his ability to play electric guitar to you and Clara.

He was kinder now, less rude. He no longer complained too much whenever Clara or you hug him. One might say he is a bit affectionate toward the both of you.

You still refused to be his full time companion like Clara. You would take a trip or two for every two weeks or whenever you felt like you need a time out.

The Doctor is currently at the console, playing a tune on his guitar while talking about some sci-fi stuff that completely beyond your understanding.

You stared at him with fondness.

Clara noticed it and teased you about it later on. She asked whether you need her help to woo the Doctor to which you replied you are not the Doctor's type. She is. Which promptly shut her up.

During one of the trip, you noticed how careless Clara is and you talked to the Doctor about it but he brush you off, telling you that he won't let anything bad happen to Clara...or you, he added as afterthought.

You were touched that he care about you enough and said so to him to which he replied that he consider you as friend too. You were so happy that you hugged him and kissed his cheek.

He stared at you blankly as he touches his cheek.

You giggled as you suddenly felt bold enough to actually start flirting with him. But later on, you felt like you wanted to crawl under a rock for being insane enough to do that especially since he didn't seem to know how to deal with your affection.

Clara laughed at you when you told her about it much to your dismay.

Clara is dead. You got a phone call from Clara's father. Her body is found on a street. They had no idea what is the cause of death. From Rigsy, you found out the truth.

You were unable to cope with her death and you wished to talk to the Doctor but you couldn't even contact him. According to Rigsy, the Doctor was taken to somewhere else, presumably by an enemy of the Doctor.

You are worried for the Doctor but there is nothing you can do about it. You contacted UNIT and spoke to Kate but even she has no clue what is going on.

There is nothing you can do but to help with Clara's funeral. You tried to be brave for Clara's family. After the funeral, when you are finally alone and realizing the loss of Clara, you broke down crying.

You now understood how Clara felt when she lost Danny. You just wanted to be left alone, not wanting to do anything at all.

Then, Clara reappeared in front of you in a waitress uniform from a Tardis that resembles a dinner. She was there to say goodbye and to tell you to take it easy when next you met the Doctor. She told you the Doctor has no memory of herself now.

You wonder if the Doctor would even bother to come for you as the one connecting you to him is always Clara.

"He considered you as a friend too, you know. He likes you. Not many people can says that." Clara reassured you. She made you promise to help the Doctor eventhough you have no idea what you could possibly offer the Doctor. You are not her.

"If he comes for me, I promise I will help him to the best of my ability." You made that promise, fully aware that the Doctor is unlikely to come for you despite his words before about considering you as a friend. He didn't strike you as the type who keep a regular contact with those he called friends unless they were his current companion.

You and Clara had a teary goodbye and you watched her Tardis vanished before your eyes. You never saw her again.

As you predicted, the Doctor never come for you. You weren't surprised but it still hurts you. You tried not to take it personally. You tried to move on with your life.

It was merely an accident that you met the Doctor again. You were accompanying your slightly younger cousin to check out St. Luke's University. Your cousin is thinking to apply to that university.

It was there you overheard a bunch of students talking about their eccentric teacher, the one called the Doctor.

Curious but also dreading to meet him, you decided to look for him. And you did find him.

He was playing his electric guitar at his posh office. You saw his blue box on the corner of the room.

He glanced at your arrival. He didn't seem to recognize you at first.

You slapped him. You didn't meant to but when you saw his indifferent face, you kind of loses it.

He was taken aback by the sudden assault but before he could say a word, you slapped him again and then hit his chest repeatedly with your fists as you yelled and cursed at him.

He gripped both of your hands to stop the assault on his person. His eyes softened as he whispered your name. He apologized to you as you broke down crying in his arms.

"It has been 2 years, you bastard! You left me behind without any explanation for what happened to Clara! You promised me she will be safe even after I told you she was reckless! And then she died and you don't even have the courtesy to show up and explain everything! I had to heard it all from Rigsy!" You yelled at him.

"I know." He looked remorseful but you are still so mad at him.

"I know that you no longer have any memory of Clara but surely you remember me? You said you considered me as friend but you abandoned me! Friends don't do that, you jerk! Stupid eyebrow!"

The Doctor remained silent in the face of your fury. After you calmed down, he offered you tea much to your bewilderment.

You told him about how Clara told you what happened to him, being trapped in a confession dial, almost breaking the rule of time for the sake of Clara and also about the promise you made to her. So, after all of that, you asked him how he is holding up.

The Doctor admitted of being ashamed of himself for what happened to Clara and can't bear to face you especially since he couldn't even remember Clara at all.

You and the Doctor talked about Clara a lot. Through you, the Doctor is able to put a face on Clara. You told him the brave tale of Clara Oswald and her Doctor.

You forgot about your cousin until she called you. You had to leave the Doctor but you were reluctant. You asked him if he will be at the university for long. He said he will be stuck in there for a long while.

You smiled softly at him. "Can I come see you again?"

He glanced down at you with fond smile. "If you like."

You hugged him and he, at first, was hesitant to hug you but he did eventually.

After that day, you spend at least a few hours to visit him in the university and you have valid excuse because your cousin did apply there.

There were rumour floating around that you were the Doctor's girlfriend but you and the Doctor ignored it.

The Doctor introduced you to Nardole and Bill. Bill is curious about how you know the Doctor and she recognized that you did indeed still fancy the Doctor and teases you about it.

The Doctor eventually told you about the reason he was stuck there. You had heard about Missy before from Clara and her warning that she is pure evil. You have no interest in meeting her.

Knowing the Doctor stuck there, you tried to cheer him up by asking him out. He was confused whether you are asking him out on a date after Bill's teasing about him having a date and he asked you about it.

You were embarrassed and cursed Bill for bringing that up. You told him it was a friendly outing. Though, of course, you sort of wished for more but this is the Doctor. He is dense when it come to romance. Also, you have no idea if he even feel the same, probably not.

One day, the Doctor asked you out for a date night in some foreign planet. He claimed it was for ruining your date night years ago. You laughed at the date night he mentioned. You remembered that night when he asked your date of the night if he was your father. He eventually admitted he was asking you out because Bill wouldn't shut up about how you fancy him and how lucky he was to have someone like you waiting around for him.

Your face reddened as you muttered about killing Bill.

He smiled kindly at you which made your heart flutter around like a trapped butterfly inside a jar. "Spare Bill your wrath, she was just concerned for you and I. Apparently, she ship us."

You nearly choke on your drink when he said that with a flat face. You felt like you are not nearly drunk enough to survive this humiliation. Overall, it was a successful date night. You have fun. The Doctor is surprisingly good at planning a date night.

You remembered that Clara once told you that he was married to River Song but she was deceased. You wondered what kind of a woman she was to have caught his fancy. She must be someone amazing. You didn't dare to ask him about her but you saw the picture he had on his office. You even asked Nardole about her. You realized the Doctor is still hung up on her and Clara to some extent even if he didn't remember her.

You sighed, hating yourself for being insecure. You knew the Doctor is out of your league and yet here you are, falling under his spell again. You didn't know whether to hug Bill or hit her for plotting against you like this. You were, in the end, grateful for a chance to have a memory of being on a date with the Doctor. Though, the realization that according to the Doctor, this is somewhat a pity date, ruined it for you.

After that one date, you avoided the Doctor like a plague. It was Bill who come to you and knock some sense into you.

"This is the Doctor we are talking about. He doesn't know what even a pity date is. So, please, (name), just come back. You are miserable. He is also miserable. He blames me, you know, for taking my advice and takes you out on a date. He thought he did something wrong to you. Now he thought he had lost you too." Bill said.

You narrowed your eyes at her. "You are lying, aren't you? There is no way the Doctor acted like that merely because I'm not there."

"Well yeah he didn't pout as much, mostly he tried distracting himself with teaching and traveling in the Tardis, but he is very grumpy, more than usual. Ask Nardole if you don't believe me. Ask his students, they thought you broke up with him and that made him become no fun anymore."

So, yeah, like the fool you are, you decided to come back and have as Bill put it a 'grown-up' talk with the Doctor.

What the hell...you decided to tell him the truth and see what happened. If he didn't feel the same, well, that's a problem that you will have to deal with anyway sooner or later. Better just do it and get it over with now. Rip the band-aid so to speak. Maybe then you can properly move on and erased your feeling for him to make room for new feeling for someone else.

You had a long talk with the Doctor. You found out Bill is right about the date being not a pity date. He had even told you that if he didn't like you, he would never took you out on a date.

"I can't promise you forever." The Doctor eventually said.

"I never would ask you that. I know that you can't do that. All I ask, if you are willing, to be with me for as long as we can."

"Then you shall have me for as long as you want to, (name)." The Doctor said.

You were surprised and felt elated by his words. You took his hand on yours and beamed at him.

He glanced down at you with soft smile and kind eyes. You loved him more for it.

The Doctor took you on dates many times after that. He is taking care to make sure there will be no crisis need averting during the dates but that did not always work.

You should have known the Doctor is definitely a trouble magnet despite his effort. During a date night, the place where the Doctor took you with was invaded by a hostile group.

Of course, you were taken hostage as the Doctor along with a group of people that apparently genious in their own right were forced to solve some chess puzzle with life or death at stake.

Thinking the Doctor need more incentive, they put you into some death trap where one wrong move during the chess puzzle will end with your death.

You were properly scared especially after you saw the person before you died in agony when someone else before the Doctor is forced to solve it.

The Doctor is enraged by this hostile group who put you in this situation.

You couldn't help the tears that flooded your eyes as your body trembled waiting for the pain of death even as you glanced up at the Doctor, trying to put up a brave face.

He told you to shut up when he realized you were trying to say goodbye, believing that you will die in that death trap.

It was a close call but he eventually able to cheat the game and freed you. You were so relieved as you fell into his arms weakly.

The Doctor however is angry especially when he learned that the trap is plotted by someone called Gus. He eventually told you he know a Gus, one responsible for the incident of the mummy in orient express back when he was with Clara.

You remembered Clara told you about their supposed last hurrah on orient express. You wondered if Gus has some grudge against the Doctor or he just enjoy sickening games.

You could tell the Doctor felt guilty for putting you in danger. You were afraid that he will change his mind and left you behind. You grabbed on one of his arms, putting your head near his chest and whispered to him that you are okay and you will try not to scare easy, that you will do better next time.

The Doctor looked sad when you said that.

Feeling guilty after what happened at the last date, the Doctor took you to have some fun. He assurred you the place is safe.

The Doctor took you out to some alien bazaar in some orange planet but he accidentaly took you to the same place where he once as his eleventh incarnation took you and Clara.

You were stunned when you saw past Clara, wishing you can come to her and give her a hug.

It was Eleventh Doctor who notices you and he was confused because he was sure he left you with Clara.

You blinked at Chin Boy and took a look at him. You still found it hard to believe that he is the same person as Eyebrow.

It was then your Doctor appeared and he put his hand around your waist as he started talking about some attraction that he thought you would like. He didn't seem to notice his past-self at first.

It was kind of funny watching Chin Boy pieces it together your relationship with his future-self. He spluttered in surprise and waved his hands around like a deranged giraffe.

When your Doctor finally recognized his past-self, he didn't look at all impressed or happy seeing him. They started to insult each other, whether it was about his past chin or his future eyebrow.

You stifled a giggle as both Doctors glared at you.

After Chin Boy left, you were wondering if that meant he always know that they will ended up dating but he said his past-self would not retain any memory of meeting you and him.

As you watched past you and Clara having a laugh together, you couldn't help but felt sad. You glanced up to see your Doctor staring at Clara too. You could tell he is trying to remember her, anything about her, but he couldn't.

You took his hand and led him away from the scene. You kissed his cheek and asked him what he need right now.

The Doctor glanced down at you with soft smile. You could almost believe that he loves you at that moment.

You and the Doctor are officially dating now. Bill and Nardole knew about it. Your cousin knew about it. The whole university knew about it.

His students like to ask the Doctor about your relationship during his lecture much to his dismay. He even told you that your cousin attended his lectures too and asked about the nature of his relationship with you.

You stiffled a smile and promised him you would tell your cousin to stop teasing him.

You were reluctant to travel with him full time, prefering to be safe on Earth, letting him, Bill and Nardole instead playing the hero game. You were grateful that the Doctor didn't think less of you for wanting to stay safe.

You were so afraid for the Doctor upon finding out he is blind. You were angry at him for keeping it a secret from you. You refused to leave his side, wanting to make sure he is safe even if it meant you have to get down and dirty with any crisis headed his way.

You were so grateful for Bill for she is the only one in position to make a deal with the Monk to save him. You were with the Doctor but on the wrong side. You couldn't help him at all. You thought you would lose him for good this time. But then Bill saved him.

After he regained his eyesight, the Doctor set out to figure out a way to get the monks off the Earth.

That was the first time the Doctor took you and Bill inside the vault where you laid eyes on Missy for the first time.

You didn't like her at all. As Clara told you before, Missy is cruel with her words, not afraid to strike anyone down with her pouting lips. But the Doctor seemed to manage her well enough.

The Doctor said he was trying to rehabilitate her and he thought it was working well. She seemed to start showing remorse.

After the monk fiasco is over with, the Doctor told you and Bill about his plan to give Missy a test run to see how she deal with a crisis.

Missy is curious with you upon realizing you are dating the Doctor, teasing him about what a pedophile he is for taking a very young human to be his fuck buddy. Her words is crude and very insulting. You dislikes her even more. But you got the feeling she couldn't careless whether anyone likes her or not, except maybe the Doctor.

You got a feeling that maybe there were deeper history between her and the Doctor. You wondered if they ever become lovers in their past but that is not something you can ask him. Come to think about it, you still don't know much about the Doctor except from what Clara told you which is a lot but still not enough. You tried to respect his need for secret. You know he is just indulging you in your desire to have him as your lover. He didn't owe you anything more than he want to share.

Everything fall apart during the first test run for Missy. For once, you agreed to go with them but you remained on the Tardis with the Doctor while Bill and Nardole play the part as Missy's companion.

Worried for Bill, the Doctor immediately got outside but he locked you inside the Tardis against your wishes. He wanted you safe.

Before he could get Bill to safety, she got killed by the blue alien who is afraid of the things inside the ship who only come when there is human nearby.

After Bill was taken away, the Doctor eventually allowed you out of the Tardis after he knocked out the blue alien.

"Bill is my friend. I won't just sit there inside the Tardis."

"There are creatures down there who goes after human. You will be in danger." The Doctor said.

"I don't care! We stick together, Doctor, no matter what."

He relented and allowed you to come with them. You ignored Missy mocking you, prefering to listen to the Doctor and Nardole instead.

You and the Doctor found out Bill has been turned into a cyberman, a mondasian cyberman. And of course Missy had to betray you both when her past incarnation revealed to be behind the entire plot.

You were so sad for Bill especially once you found out she is still aware of herself inside that cold steel. The Doctor lied to Bill about being able to fix her but told you the truth that he can't.

He told you he should have made you stay inside the Tardis.

"It was my choice, Doctor, to stand here with you. I am scared but I won't regret you." You said.

The Master mocked both you and Bill. You wished you could hurt him right back. The Doctor pulled you and Bill away from him.

You were in one of the room at the house, alone, trying to calm your nerve. You were really bad at handling crisis. You wished you could offer some help for the Doctor. You wished you were a companion he can depend on but you know you are not.

While you were feeling sorry for yourself, the Doctor entered the room, watching you from the doorway. You were still unaware that he was there.

"Are you okay?" The Doctor spoke up suddenly, making you jump in surprise.

You were nervous, that everyone probably can tell. You forced a smile as you sat down, desperately trying to put on a brave face.

He sighed. "You don't have to pretend. It's okay to be afraid."

"Fear is superpower?" You lightly said.

The Doctor smiled solemnly. "I'm guessing Clara told you that one too..."

"She was my best friend. We have no secret with each other. She was your best friend too." You said as you looked down at your lap, fingers gripping at your skins. "I wish she was here. She would be able to help you more."

The Doctor sighed. He sat beside you, put one hand over yours. He took your hand and kissed it gently.

You turned toward him slightly as you tried to smile but instead your eyes were wet with unshed tears.

"I love you, Doctor." You whispered. "I didn't need you to say it back. I just want you to know." You lied, of course, it would have been nice to hear him says it but only if he meant it. You put your hand over his cheek. "Thank you for letting me stay with you."

The Doctor didn't say anything, only glancing down at you with a look you can't decipher. He pulled you close to him and kissed your forehead as you rest your head on his shoulder.

That night, you sleep in each other arms or at least you were. The Doctor watched over you sleep. You only know because you were restless in your sleep. You clutched one of his arms, fully aware of how clingy you are but he has not yet rejected your touches so maybe it was okay.

You shared a smile with the Doctor as you finally gave up to try to sleep and just laid there, staring at each other.

"Whatever happen next, I'm with you. And even if I...don't survive this, please don't ever blame yourself."

The Doctor looked like he want to object so you covered his mouth with your palm.

You switched into a seating position, staring at him solemnly. "I meant it. Don't you dare regret me because I didn't regret you. Even if today is our last day, I would be happy because I am with you. So, don't even think of sending me away." You said, remembering what Clara told you about how the Doctor send her away from Trenzalore.

He pulled your hand away from his mouth as he moved into a seating position too. He sighed in resignation. "As you wish then, (name)."

You stared at him suspiciously. You did know the Doctor enough from Clara to know the Doctor lies. You could only hope he would not lie to you.

Things has gotten dangerous as more cybermen attacked the settlement. The Doctor, Missy and the Master worked together before the Master decided it was a lost cause and intending to leave.

It was heartbreaking watching your Doctor begging Missy to stand by his side and was rejected.

You could tell this is one of those time where the Doctor can't save everyone. Your heart aches for him, watching him wreck his brain in an attempt to save everyone. You were a bit glad for last night with the Doctor, because you get to say everything that need saying to him. You tried to make your peace with what happening.

You were angry though when later the Doctor forced you to evacuate with Nardole and the other passengers. He said he had a plan, that everything will be okay. He promised he will come back for you and Nardole soon. He was convincing enough that you did go with Nardole. The Doctor stayed behind with Bill.

As you left with Nardole, you felt something is wrong. Against Nardole's warning, you returned back to find the Doctor.

You never find him.

You were desperate to try to find the Doctor but you couldn't find him, instead you found Missy.

She was dying. But so is the Master. Against your better judgement, you decided to help Missy. She was always mean to you but she did help the Doctor and Bill before today.

Missy was surprised to see you and even more when you helped her up and away from there. She guided you to the path where the Master's Tardis is hidden.

She told you to take her to the med bay and instructed you of what to do with her fatal injuries. You were shaking but follow her instruction. You gave her some sort of injection.

Next thing you know she was glowing and exploded. The force of her regeneration knocked you hard as you crashed into some medical cart. You were on the floor, neck bleeding from some accidental stabbing by one of the medical instruments.

You gasped as you put one hand over your injury, hoping to slow down the bleeding but you were too weak. You blacked out just as you saw a man emerged toward you, staring at you coldly. Your last thought was you wish you didn't help Missy if this is how she repay you.

You were surprised to find yourself still alive afterward. Your neck is bandaged properly. You felt so ill and weak.

"You are awake."

You almost jumped as you heard that voice.

A man in purple suit emerged from the shadow. You have no idea who he is. You were with Missy before, weren't you?

You gulped. "Missy?"

He chuckled. "Call me Master."

You flinched at that. The Master, the earlier version, was so intimidating and cruel. You don't know what to make with this one. But he did save your life, so there is that. You were not comfortable around him.

"I...where are we now? The Doctor..."

He scoffed. "The Doctor is gone, he has abandoned the both of us."

You glared at him. "You are the one who abandon him first." You probably shouldn't poke the bear.

He stared at you curiously. "Still he did abandon you. Everyone on that ship died but him while he fly away in his Tardis again. He didn't even come back for you."

You flinched at that. But you tried to take comfort at the fact that the Doctor survived. You hoped to reunite again with him but you are unsure how to go about it. You were practically under the Master's mercy right now.

You wondered why he still keep you around, not that you are not grateful. You were afraid he would abandon you into some foreign planet with no way to contact the Doctor.

"What are you going to do now...to me?" You tentatively asked.

He raised an eyebrow at you. "Sounded like you expect me to torture you or something..."

"So am I free to go then?"

"Are you going to run back to the Doctor?" He asked.

You were unsure what the correct answer would be. You were afraid the wrong answer will set him off. "I...I don't know..."

He hummed. "He thought nobody survived in that ship. He probably thought you died too." He chuckled. "For once, the Doctor can not save everyone."

Your heart ached at the thought the grief the Doctor must be going through right now. You hated the Master for finding it funny that the Doctor failed to save everyone.

"I want to see him." You whispered. "Can you...will you take me to him?"

A dark expression crossed his feature. His cold answer chilled you to the bone. "No."

The Master imprisoned you on board of his Tardis. He was mostly courteous with you.

You showed the same courtesy, mostly because you were afraid.

But when one day he landed in Victorian London, you tried to escape, hoping to find Madam Vastra and Jenny so that they can help you reunited with the Doctor.

The Master foiled your plan and got really mad at you.

"Why are you still wanting to be with him? He abandoned you!!" He roared at you, making you so frightened that you could only whimpers.

He made you so very afraid when he cupped your face as he put his forehead over yours and invaded your mind. The brutal attack on your mind left you weak as a kitten. You were completely under his mercy.

After that day, you were to afraid to disobey him and just do what he told you...mostly. He is up to his usual chaos and you refused to be a part of it, especially when you realized he was plotting against the Doctor.

He was harsh with you and have no qualm to attack you mentally until you submit to him.

You prayed that the Doctor will come and rescue you. He laughed at your thoughts and showed you the Doctor from his hidden camera.

That was the first time you were told that the Doctor has regenerated...into a woman. She has new companions with her. She called them her fam.

Your heart ached at the thought the Doctor you know and fell in love with is gone, replaced with this woman. Part of you though recognized that she is still the Doctor. You were glad though that she found new companions and that she is not alone.

The Master is displeased with you whenever he caught you thinking of the Doctor. You didn't understand why he insisted to keep you around.

He told you he had plan for you. You dreaded whatever he plan for you. But you were hopeless, you couldn't even save yourself. You hated your weakness.

With each passing months, you lose hope to ever reunited again with your Doctor. Is she even still your Doctor? Will she still even want you back? You don't know.

The Master kept taunting you, making you cry like a baby. He sometimes look at you with disgust and yet he continue to keep you. You have no idea why.

The Master showed you Gallifrey. He was proud to show his homeland. And then he locked you back into his Tardis.

When he returned, he was in deranged state, making you scared and very jumpy as he raged at the console and at the world.

You were mute now, hardly talk at all. The Master had forced a telepathic bond with you after he experimented with you. It was scary and painful, making you wish for death instead.

You hated him but even all of your emotions slowly muted into defeaning silence.

One day, he told you that he has set his plan for the Doctor in motion. He curiously observed you to see your reaction.

You stared at him blankly.

He seemed satisfied. He cupped your face. "You will be my last surprise for the Doctor." He said as he caressed your cheek gently. "If everything going as I planned, you will soon see her."

You didn't say anything.

You finally get to reunite with the Doctor. The Master even dressed you up for the occasion.

For the first time, as you laid eyes on the Doctor, some of your emotion resurfaced.

"I didn't know where you were. She was the only one there. I didn't know what to do...so I just did what he told me." You said in a hoarse and trembling voice.

You must have been with Missy when she regenerated. Had she left you under the Master's mercy all this time? The Doctor thought you perished in that ship like everyone else. Like Bill. Like Nardole.

Her hearts ached as she recalled the Testimony Project and how she got to meet Bill and Nardole, even Clara one last time. But she never did met you. At the time she thought you were simply mad at her previous version for lying and refused to show yourself to him.

She recalled the look Bill and Nardole exchanged when he asked them about you. Did they know that you survived?

"Where is he?" The Doctor asked you.

"Right here." The Master appeared with his CyberMaster in tow.

The Doctor realized she was surrounded.

"How do you like your surprise, Doctor?" The Master gleefully asked.

The Doctor glared at him. "What have you done to her?"

The Master turned to you and smiled. "Come here, (name)."

To the Doctor's horror, you obeyed him without hesitation.

"See? I take care of your pet, Doctor, the one you abandoned for death." He said as he cupped your chin playfully. "We even saved each other. It was all very...poetic."

The Doctor flinched with guilt at the thought that she did abandon you without a thought that you could possibly survive.

The Master then started bragging about his CyberMaster which he fully intend to use to conquer Earth.

The Doctor showed him the trigger for the death particle that she is fully intend to use to stop the Master and his army.

"Would you really use that?" The Master taunted. "Even if it meant you will kill her again?"

The Doctor flinched again at the mention of you. She glanced up at you and at the lost expression on your face. Her hearts ached for you. She long to envelop you in her embrace, to take you away from the Master and back in her Tardis to keep you safe. But she knew she had to stop the Master first and foremost.

"I can't risk you to lay waste on the universe." The Doctor said firmly as she gripped tight the trigger.

The Master looked ecstatic at her answer. "Do it then. Do it. Come on and do it. Save the universe."

You remained silent throughout the exchange between the Doctor and the Master.

The Doctor eventually dropped the trigger, unable to follow through.

The Master look disappointed, promising to lay waste the universe, thanks to her weakness.

He turned toward you. "Come along, (name)."

You flinched. You stared at the Doctor longingly before hesitantly took a step toward the Master.

The Doctor moved quicker to try to stop you. "Leave her here. You have no use of her."

The Master look amused. "Is that so? I'm actually quite fond of her. After all, she is the first face this face saw. You know how it is, Doctor, she is mine now."

The Doctor glared at him. "She is not yours!"

The Master rolled his eyes and commanded you to come to her.

At the time, Ko Sharmus suddenly appeared, picked up the trigger.

The Doctor quickly grabbed you as Ko Sharmus stepped toward the Master showing that he will pull the trigger.

The Doctor pulled you into her arms and ran as Ko Sharmus told her too before pulling the trigger.

You and the Doctor were inside a Tardis but not the Doctor's.

After she flew the Tardis to safety, she turned to you to check you for injury. She smiled elatedly at you but the smile slide off her face immediately.

You couldn't believe that you had escaped the Master. As you glanced at the Doctor and saw her slowly smile adorably at you, you blacked out.

The Doctor barely able to catch your fallen body. She pulled her sonic screwdriver to scan you. Dread filled her hearts as she realized you had fallen into a coma.

In the Tardis medbay, the Doctor stared at the result of your medical scan. There is nothing physically wrong with you.

The Doctor had no choice but to go inside your mind without consent to investigate what's wrong with you.

She was horrified to know that you were bonded to the Master. The Master had made it so your mind can't function if you are too far from him.

You were sealed within the deep corner of your mind unable to get out, unable to do anything but hover in the corner, afraid and lost.

The Doctor couldn't get through you at all. But she saw the remnant of message from the Master.

"Did you really think I would let you have a happy ending, Doctor?" The Master said cruelly. "She is mine. If you want her back, you simply have to give her back to me and she will be good as new."

The Doctor scoffed at him. "You are insane if you think I would let you anywhere near her again."

"You can't keep her from me, Doctor. I have make sure that she could never hid from me."

The Doctor realized the truth in what the Master said. You would never be safe from him. So there is only two thing she can do.

She will have to forcefully break the bond between you and the Master which will hurt both you and the Master a great deal but at least you will be safe from him.

Also, she will have to fix the damage in your mind courtesy of the Master but the damage is too much and she has to wipe your memories of the Master and of everything pertaining the Doctor.

The Master must have known that the Doctor would do exactly that. "Typical. You won't even give her any choice, would you?"

The Doctor glared at him in fury. "You are the one who did this to her. You hurt her. You broke her." She yelled at him. "I will not let you get to her anymore."

As she made up her mind, she focused on psychic attack on the bond. She winced as you screamed in pain. The Master also screamed but mostly cursing the Doctor.

She muttered apologies to you over and over again as her eyes shimmered in tears.

She put her hands over both side of your face and started to erase everything about the Doctor and the Master.

Tears fell on your cheeks as the Doctor purged the last memories of the person you love from your mind.

The Doctor had you covered in long coat covering yourself from head to toes. She waited for someone patiently as she carried you in her arms. You were still unconscious.

"Doctor."

"Jack."

"Love the new face. You look good, Doctor."

The Doctor didn't reply.

"Is that her?"

She nodded. "Keep her safe, Jack. Give her new identity and take care to make sure that she will have everything she need."

"Of course."

The Doctor glanced at your sleeping face mournfully. "She is not safe with me or anywhere near me. The Master is after her."

Jack's eyes widened. "The Master is alive?"

The Doctor nodded.

"What could he possibly want with her?"

"The Master is insane as you know. He has obsession with her because she saved him before he regenerated and she is the first face he saw after he regenerated." The Doctor said. "I had to erase everything she know of me and the Master. It was the only way to keep her safe."

Jack glanced at the Doctor, noticing how miserable she look. "Don't worry, Doctor, I will personally make sure she will be safe."

"Thank you, Jack. I owe you."

Jack took you in his arms gently, careful not to wake you.

The Doctor released you reluctantly to Jack. She took one last look at your face before steeling herself. She turned around and left without looking back.

You were half-awake as you saw a woman walking away from you and for some reason, your heart ached but sleep took over you again and with that, you forgot.

What’s wrong with aging up?

@mci-writing: There isn’t a problem with aging up in specific, but rather how you go about aging up the characters, especially in NSFW pieces. If you’re going to age the characters up, make it apparent that the characters are aged up rather than just slapping the 18+ label, whether it be in an offhand mention of living in a house of their own or maybe something small about being in college if dorms are such an integral part to the work in question.

“If the minors knew it was an 18+ space, why did they join?”

@mci-writing: Their server is a 16+ server, so they were invited and welcomed once they proved their ages. Many minors that joined their server saw it as an opportunity to meet new people and make friends, all while being able to interact with their favorite writers in the fandom.

If the discord discussion wasn't about harassing Lady-bakuhoe, why did it happen?

@mci-writing: The first discussion quite literally was a couple of people active in the fandom, mainly writers, venting about how hard it is to currently get your works out there and just how hard it is to properly get involved in the fandom without some form of help from a clique. No one in specific was named that time. The other discussion was Sav venting about how she was treated after a whack ass callout post was made and simply because a writer was mad that Sav ran her server the way Sav wanted to, which led to her elaborating on the situation (it then prompted other people’s responses, whose responses are fairly similar to how many of you reacted to Jo’s small “callout”).

What legal offences have they done if charged?

@savnofilter: Well since you guys like supporting people you think should be in jail, considering Lady-Bakuhoe has shared a minor’s face and age, the offense would be up to the parents in question. It's stated in laws that even if the minor is a felon, you do not have the rights to share such information without law/parent consent. Although I cannot find anything about age, sharing a minor's face comes with consequences.

To put in perspective, the U.S and UK are basically flip flopped. In the U.S it is not against the law to groom, but in the UK it is. It is illegal to have relationships with minors in the U.S, while in the UK it is not.

For knowingly engaging sexually with a minor (DMs), you can also be trialed for having depictions of any picture/video of minors. (ex: students in school uniforms) or minors in sexual situations. Although having a sexual relationship with a 16 year-olds is permitted, consuming child pornography is not. Grooming is also outside of sexual abuse, you can groom anyone for any reason.

Sharing false and hurtful posts about someone with intention to hurt someone's image constitutes cyberbullying. This includes false posts to make someone look bad and sending hate (whether you directed it or not).

For perspective, once again it is flip-flopped. The U.S has many states so there are not any direct laws against cyberbullying (in my state and my friends it is illegal), but you can categorize abusive behaviors exhibited online as a form of abuse. In the U.K it is illegal, grooming is considered being one of the offenses.

Don't you (minors) know it's illegal to consume and produce erotica?

@savnofilter: As long as we (minors) don't go as far to engage (message privately) sexually with people who are 18+, it’s not illegal. Reblogging or commenting on a work both ways isn't illegal either 1, 2. It’s only illegal if you approach minors and send it to them personally. If it was illegal, porn websites wouldn’t even exist. If you’re concerned about minors reading your stuff, don’t put them in main tags.

Can't the person producing the content get arrested?

@savnofilter: To put it simply: No. You will not go to jail if a minor reads your smut. With the other way around, you won't go to jail reading a minor's smut either. The laws state that you can only go to jail if you send porn (video, art, pictures) to a minor or produce depictions of a minor in sexual acts.

Therefore if you do not approach a minor with such contents, you will not be trialed. If this was the case, there wouldn't be platforms such as PornHub and etc would not be able to run.

Do you have a problem with them writing the content that they do?

@savnofilter: No. If we did it would be hypocritical. It’s more of the personal jabs to alienate teens feel in the writing community. This means having to go out your way saying stuff like “fuck minors” “minors are stupid”. People like to shove down our throats that we want to go into “adult spaces”. Tumblr is an open site for 13+, the anime being a Shounen anime. Again, if you don’t want minors interacting with your stuff, keep it out of main tags.

What do we want from this post?

The main reason why I even decided to speak up is because I was tired of always talking about how toxic it is here and always being accused of starting drama to shut me up. Sure, call it “bitching” and “whining” but why should I take bullying because I have less followers and half someone’s age?

The double-standard that I’ve touched upon in CCC or even how small blogs are treated. Fandom is supposed to be fun, and it’s not okay to let things slide just to keep things “happy”. Stop intimidating and shutting down people who finally have a choice to talk about the things they have been through just because your favorite says so. Don’t campaign about listening to hurt peoples voices, then proceed to ignore and ridicule people who do it in your own environment.

I’ve had people come into my inbox and mock me for admitting to being mentally ill and say I’m doing this because I’m sick in the head, or call me a liar only because I spoke up. The BNHA fandom needs to stop the popularity mob mentality. Before you blindly someone, think to yourself: why? Stop giving toxic people passes because there is always a high chance in them not even caring about you. Don’t be a sheep, think for yourself. That’s what I want from this post. Even if people don’t believe me now, you can’t say I didn’t warn you.

TRIVIUM - PART 3 - DEBUT MINI ALBUM [2016]

TRIVIUM is the third and final unit to debut from Triptych’s first generation with their debut mini album PART 3. With a significantly more hip-hop and rap-focused sound in comparison to the two previous Triptych units, TRIVIUM brings a new layer of talent and meaning to the super group. The decision to make BERLIN their debut song was a power move. Not only does the song have a very distinct and recognizable sound that drags listeners in, but it sets the vibe for TRIVIUM’s energy.

All three members had a hand in writing this song.

2] SAVAGES

In this hiphop-influenced track, TRIVIUM has a back and forth debate between rappers Van and Cal over if human nature is inherently good or evil, giving examples of highs and lows in society.

Trivium talks about their past and how it had shaped them into who they are today. This song is like the last goodbye to their old selves, ready to let go of the past and move on.

This track also acknowledges that admitting ignorance isn’t something that you should be ashamed of, as you can only change as long as you’re willing.

Ura, the only woman in this subunit, took it upon herself to write a feminist anthem for their album. It’s basically a response to all the times Ura has had a man be patronizing towards her. Van and Cal act on the track as supporters, but the song is mostly Ura focused.

The first song on the album where you actually hear Ura rap and get to see her lyricism play out. One of Ura’s lines mentioned snapping kneecaps. Everyone’s afraid of her now.

This song is all about wanting someone that’s not good for you, but you keep coming back.

The non-gender specific pronouns in the song show that this song can be about any type of relationship, regardless of gender or if it is a romantic or platonic relationship.

6] MEN/WOMEN

All about gender roles and how they’ve hurt them as they’ve grown up. Since they are the first co-ed unit from Triptych, they took it upon themselves to address double standards/gender roles.

This one caused a bit of a discussion, especially since it directly calls out the double standards in the kpop industry.

△ THIS ERA.

So... Trivium easily got the most attention out of Gen 1.

Mostly because they’re a co-ed duo that covers topics that aren’t discussed super openly.

But also because they’re really good rappers. Like, all of them. And their stage presence is really intense.

Ura doesn’t rap as much as she would have liked to this era, as they needed her on vocals to break up the tracks a little since neither Van or Cal can sing very well.

Trivium were given the title ‘un-idols’ - which is both a term of endearment as well as a critique, depending on who uses it - because of their unwillingness to play up the role of a significant other at fan signs as well as their general aura.

Idols are supposed to be like... ‘perfect’ at all times, and Trivium just doesn’t do that? Like they wear the worst outfits to the airport, fansites have pictures of them waiting in line for street food (and then chowing down on said street food), and the way they talk to fans is so casual?

This attitude turned off some fans, but it brought in a whole new wave of support, especially from international fans who felt like Trivium were relatable.

The most popular member this comeback was easily Ura. Not only was she the only girl, so she visually stood out, but she was the one that often went viral for fan-zoning fans who asked her to be romantic with them.

She also received the most criticisms, but she really didn’t care. She wasn’t going to make herself uncomfortable for the sake of others.

Cal got a good amount of attention too because of his accent and his looks. Cal has a very slight British accent when he says certain Korean words and people just... lost it over that.

Van kinda sunk to the background this era, but he doesn’t really mind. He just wanted the kids to have fun and have their time to shine. :)

As far as numbers go, Trivium breaks records for Triptych by gaining 10 million music video views in the first 24 hours as well as having BERLIN chart on Melon upon release.

△ ERA FASHION.

I promise this is the last era that Triptych wears color-coded outfits. I promise. The company was trying to see how the color-coded concept would work and gen 1 was the guinea pigs.

When Artychs saw how lacking Trivium’s debut outfits were.... they almost rioted at HBH. They already were accusing HBH of picking favorites and not giving Trivium equal treatment.

But the truth is... Trivium picked their debut stage outfits. Yes, they’re bland, but Trivium wanted their debut to feel like friends were finally meeting up for the first time, hence the casual clothes.

The button up shirt fits tho.... that made a few bitches go feral. That was an exquisite serve.

The award show fits were nice too! Ura stunned bitches pulling up with her short blazer dress and fishnets. Van had really cool dress pants with designs on them and Cal wore a color that wasn’t black! It was monumental!

As far as hair goes, Ura had short black hair with wispy bangs.

Van had black hair and almost always wore a wide headband on his hairline.

Cal’s hair was usually just styled into tousled brown curls and called a day.

△ FANDOM BEHAVIORS.

I’ve explained triptych stan culture before (basically the fandom is kinda divided? like some fans only support certain subunits, others support all of them, etc.) but I think Trivium was what really made that divide clear.

Trivum just sounds different than S.O.T and Tromme, there was gonna be people who didn’t vibe with their style. But that’s kinda the point of Triptych, to like.. get different sounds involved in their discography.

And some gross fans didn’t like that Trivium made it clear that they don’t want to be sexualized by fans, so they just decided to ignore them and focus on S.O.T and Tromme, who hasn’t spoken out about being sexualized by strangers online.

People also started calling Van a ‘smol bean uwu’ (hello 2016) and started like... infantalizing him?? even though he’s a grown ass man??? does he LOOK like dan OR phil to any of you????????

Fans also started calling Cal a fuckboy and played him up as this big meme just because he’s goofy. I will never forgive y’all for that.

Pick Mes hated Ura because if anyone’s ‘one of the boys’, it’s Ura and they were jealous. But she literally has to be one of the boys. It’s apart of her job.

But the artychs that do stan Trivium are probably some of the chillest people ever. They are literally just vibing. Trivium stans are dubbed as the ‘stoners’ of the fandom as a joke.

And OT9 stans overpower solo stans by a LONG SHOT, so don’t worry! Trivium received more love than hate from artychs. There were just a few bad eggs that ruined shit.

Mental Health, Cosplay, Drama, Fujoshi! - The Anime NYC 2019 Experience

I just survived another hectic Anime NYC and this year’s event continues to be an amazing event for all anime fans living in the NY area involved. Also, this con recap post is going to be very different from the usual posts as this is going to be a very personal one.

This year was the first time I became an exhibitor in any convention setting. I helped out Anime for Humanity in handing out their prized Anime Therapy Kits for attendees. It was a bit nerve-wrecking at first as I came in on Friday after work and had to get into things real quick, but my fellow volunteers were helpful in lighting the way. I was amazed at the amount of people who came by and asked what Anime for Humanity does. There were a decent number of mental health professionals that attended who praised us for what we do. I’ve been waiting for something like Anime for Humanity for a long time now as I don’t have the resources/knowledge to build my own organization.

There’s one experience I’ll talk about while helping AFH that touched my heart. I decided to do a bit of networking outside of the booth at a photo shoot for cosplayers with physical and cognitive disabilities. While there were mishaps, the shoot happened. I got a chance to talk to the organizer and her friend after the shoot about AFH and gave them the Anime Therapy Kits. They both were grateful for hearing about how such an organization exists.

The organizer’s friend, who turned out to be a doctor working in behavioral health, told me that it was people like me that make her job worthwhile. I was speechless because it’s professionals like her that are the real heroes. I’m reminded of when people tell me “You’re so strong/courageous/resilient/etc.” No, I’m not. I have messed up a lot over my life and I realized that my self-hatred was really hampering me back in 2016, so I started to make changes. I also think everyone has the potential to do something better for themselves with the right support.

Still, I appreciate what that doctor said because making important changes to your life is absolutely harder than it needs to be.

So mad props to AFH and I’m grateful to them for giving me the opportunity to help them out over the weekend.

But wait, I’m not done yet. I guess I should talk about my continued grief with an old friend of mine (which I discussed here) that I had a near-anxiety attack over 2 years ago. The two of us did re-connect for a bit earlier this year, but the timing was awful due to life circumstances. I stepped away because I just felt angry at her and myself. I saw her on the last day of the convention when I decided to visit some friends dealing with post-con exhibit booth cleanup. I didn’t want to say hi, but my heart just made me greet her. We both talked and she also recognized two of the friends I was with. They met earlier at my old friend’s Artists Alley booth (side note: Artists Alley at Anime NYC this year was nuts in a good way. There was something for everyone.)

Before the con, I was contemplating on whether I wanted to see her as I wanted to focus on AFH. Focus on the present, not the past. I don’t know what came over me when I said hi. I think it was because there was no real closure. I also had some things I wanted to say to her before I moved forward.

So I let her know that I was grateful for her presence in my life. I was grateful for all the times we spent together. I told her that life was kind of dull without her and suggested that I’m doing okay for myself. She said she thought about me and wondered if I was going to be at the convention. She also told me that she doesn’t hate or dislike me.

When I thought about the hate/dislike part, I listened to a podcast episode about a mental health advocate’s experience staying at a psychiatric hospital. He talked about how for years, he thought that the layout and nature of the psych hospital was meant to say that society hated him for his mental illness. It took him years later to realize that psych hospitals are the way they are (locking people behind doors) in order to protect patients from hurting themselves and other people. What if they got a hold of something dangerous (e.g. a kitchen knife)? That’s not a good thing, right?

Over the past year, I kept on learning about multiple perspectives and realized how much people are being forcibly occupied with life in bad ways. They’re just unable to deal with so much going on. It’s not their fault. I finally realized that with my own eyes and ears after seeing my old friend again. I think she had to step away from me, so I wouldn’t get caught in her troubles which would hurt us both in the long run.

To be honest, my grief made me want to quit anime conventions for good. I was so tired of thinking about her. I didn’t know if I was a freaking masochist for choosing to go to Anime NYC every year to deal with anxiety. I’ve always thought that it was either I go or she goes.

I made it a habit to choose neither (I even told her this myself). It was hard over the years and now I think my choice to go in-between is finally paying off. We both had a moment together that was more meaningful since I finally was open to discussing the bad stuff and my own vulnerabilities. I don’t know what’s going to happen and that’s okay with me.

I'm still going to attend anime conventions. I’m not going to ignore the influence she’s had on my personality and I’m not going to ignore the fans who could love someone like me in their lives. I feel like I’m only just getting started. When the time does come for me to step aside, I will gladly do so. It’s just not now.

I want to end this by talking about fujoshi. Well, why, you ask? For starters, the old friend is a fujoshi. The two friends (who already met her at Artists Alley) I met up with when I ran into her are both fujoshi. Also, the old friend said she didn’t want to go to Anime NYC, but her friend and Artists Alley partner-in-arms (also a fujoshi) heavily insisted that she does.

What I want to say is that I’m fucking in tears with gratitude over knowing a bunch of fujoshi over the years. It’s so funny how things really do come full circle.

I had a wonderful fujoshi friend for years before life shitted on us, met some new fujoshi friends after that, then everyone formally met this year at Anime NYC due to the “ex-friend’s” fujoshi friend request for her to come, and in the end, meeting up with my current fujoshi friends allowed me to run into that old fujoshi friend and allowed me to FINALLY have the meaningful conversation I wanted to have (even if it was short). Yikes, try to say this all fast.

I know there are people who crap on fujoshi and sure, your criticisms have some validity. For me, my experiences with those same fangirls have allowed me to be myself. I truly felt like I was the real me around them. I will love those girls until the day I die. I’m rotten like you are and damn proud of it.

Never would I have expected that a few girls who are really into pairing two-dimensional boys together helped me enjoy life during times when I felt so alone and gradually come to terms with the complicated feelings I’ve been processing over the past 3 years.

Thank you so fucking much. You fujoshi really are powerful.

So yeah, it was an emotional roller coaster this time around. I suppose I could say that every year of Anime NYC for me has been like that. I wanted to tell anyone that enjoys going to fan cons is to always appreciate the friends/peers who spend time with you there. Conventions are almost always so much better when you have someone to share your fandom with. I’ve been very lucky and hope others feel the same. I would also encourage fans to give back to their fandom communities in a meaningful way. It can’t be just Anime for Humanity making an impact.

Also, never, ever let someone define when you should “move on” or “let go.” That’s not how going through adversity works for a lot of people. I will admit that I’m different in a good way and still hurting.

“I don’t care what you need. I needed a friend back then too but you dumped me for a chick. I thought you are my friend but I was wrong. I won’t repeat this mistake, Winchester. Tell Dean I’m sorry. He’s a nice guy.”

“He treats girls like rubbish.” Sam grunts.

“Did I say I want to fuck him? I said he’s a nice guy, doesn’t mean I want to rip his clothes off. I already made the mistake of letting a Winchester touch me.”

“Please let me explain.”

“What Sam? Did the demon force you to choose Jessica? Did he make you dump me? I don’t think so! You decided all of this. You decided to dump me and to end our friendship too. I tried to stay your friend. Do you know how hard it was seeing the man I love choosing a chick he barely knows over me? Seeing him throwing our friendship away too? No, you were busy being happy with her.”

“I didn’t know I meant so much to you.”

“Sam, I let you take my virginity. Did you think I let you do this as I wanted sex or what? I wanted you to be my first as I was hopeless in love with you. I didn’t think you love me but I thought you like me. That you are my friend. I thought I can trust you.”

“Y/N, I’m so sorry. Please let me make it up to you.”

“Make it up to me? How? How do you want to make it up to me? You tossed me away after you took my virginity. You did not just throw my gift to you away you ruined our friendship too. I meet you years later only to find out you don’t even remember me. Do you have the slightest idea how that felt? No, of course not! I don’t want to be your friend! “Sam. You don’t need my friendship. You survived seven years without my friendship. Don’t say you need me, okay. We were never friends. I should’ve never let you touch me.”

“Do you regret your first time with me? Was I too rough?”

“Sam…I really don’t want to talk about sex with you. I’m tired, my head hurts and I really don’t want to talk about anything else with you.”

“Please.”

“No, Sam. Just leave me alone. I will pack my stuff and hit the road to solve my next case. Let’s just say we tried to be friends and failed. It’s almost a decade since we last saw each other we grew out of being students. We are hunters and hunters don’t do friendship either way. If we do, we only feel bad or devastated when we lose our friend.”

“Y/N? Did you lose a friend?”

“All of my friends…the first monster I hunted down killed my sister and my best friend when we walked home. That werewolf toyed with us. I only survived as a guy saved me. Shooting the wolf, he saved my life.”

“Hunter?”

“Rufus. His name was Rufus. He died not long ago.”

“I know. I was with him. Me and Dean. My resurrected grandfather and Bobby Singer.”

“You knew Bobby?”

“Yeah. He was kinda family to Dean and me.”

“I used to hunt with him from time to time.”

“I’m sorry. You lost all your friends and this is kinda my fault.”

“I will leave now Sam. No hard feelings. I just want to be alone, okay.”

“Give me at least your number. Please don’t be a stranger again. Y/N, please. We lost Bobby and Rufus. The Leviathan’s are on the loose. Please.”

“Dean has my number, just like Garth. I would suggest to never call me except you really need help with a case. I’m not your friend, only a hunter. I helped with a case and now I will leave.”

“You gave Dean your number?” Sam asks hurt.

“He never broke my heart. I like him. I wish I met him all those years ago, then he would’ve been my first,” you lie turning to leave.

What you can’t see is Sam’s hurt expression while you walk away with tears in your eyes.

He broke your heart once again…

Two months have passed since you met Sam again. He never called you, just like you asked him to. Dean, on the other hand, is bugging you for two months to come back.

Telling you Sam is grumpy as hell since you left after the case. Dean tries to make you join the team, as he calls it. You really like the cocky hunter but you won’t get close to Sam on free terms ever again.

All those years you had hoped when you meet him again he would explain why you weren’t good enough. Why he chose her, not you. But he didn’t. Sam only tried to excuse his behavior. There’s no excuse for what he did. He broke your heart and ended your friendship for another girl.

Checking some information for a case on your laptop you ignore your ringing phone. After a few tries, the caller hangs up.

Minutes later it rings again. Finally looking at the display you see its Dean…again. That little charmer won’t give up.

“Hey, Dean, what’s up. I’m kinda busy with a case.”

“Please don’t hang up. It’s me, Sam. I need your help. Dean is missing. I got no clue what happened. We were hunting a vamp and suddenly Dean was gone.”

“Where are you?”

“Casper, Wyoming. Please. I don’t know what to do. I can’t lose Dean too.”

“I’m around three hours away. Did you try to trace his phone…oh, wait you called me with his phone…sorry stupid idea. Give me your position and I’m on my way. We will find him, Sam. Don’t worry.” You say.

Bags packed as fast as possible you almost run out of your motel room.

Speeding off you pray you won’t arrive too late to save Dean. He became a good friend over the last months.

“Y/N will kill you when she gets to know you lied to her Sammy,” Dean mutters.

“That demon knew everything about her. He knew how much I like her. Dean, we need to keep her safe. The best way is to have her close by.”

“Are you sure about that? She’s a tough chick, Sam. Y/N will get mad if she gets to know you tricked her.”

“I’ll keep your name out of it. We need to fake your kidnapping and tell her I could save you on my own. Then you will charm her and make her stay, Dean.”

“I shall charm her?”

“Dean. I know you call her almost every week since we met her.” Sam snarls.

“Only to tell her what a grumpy asshole you are since she left. What did you say to her? You could’ve made her stay!”

“She hates me, Dean. I messed up epically back then at Stanford. I really liked her. Maybe I even loved her. As soon as Brady introduced Jessica to me I was…”

“You were what?”

“I don’t know. I forgot about Y/N. Seeing her again…I want to make it up to her.”

“Uh-huh. I know that look. That’s your ‘I want to get between her legs’ face!”

“No…it’s not like that Dean.”

“Are you trying to fool me or yourself? Just saying you look like you want to devour her or eat her alive.”

“Fine. With her, it felt perfect, okay. No other woman felt so good. Not Jess or anyone else.”

“Holy…Are you telling me she was the best sex you ever had?”

“Stop teasing me, Dean! I’m dead serious here. She was soft and warm. All the noises she made. We did it almost the whole night and again in the morning.”

“Uh…little Sammy is in love. He wants to kiss her and making love to her,” Dean sing-songs.

“Jerk!”

“Bitch! Admit it!”

“Fine. Alone in the motel room, I wanted nothing more than kiss her, okay. See. I admitted it.”

“We should start with friendship and making her stay with us,” Dean states. “Your cock shouldn’t be involved right now.”

“Say’s the guy banging every girl he meets.”

“Ah, ah. Not every girl!” Dean says rising his index finger.

“How do we make her stay?”

“Uh…she likes me. She told me she sees me as a friend. Y/N is great at tracing witches. We could tell he a witch hurt me and she will stick around.”

“But you are unharmed,” Sam talks back.

“Fine. Hit me. But use those leather hand gloves or she will get suspicious.”

“Oh my god, Dean. What happened? Are you okay? Who hurt you so bad?” You ask checking Dean’s bloody face.

“A fucking witch,” Dean lies.

“Sorry, I found him after I checked the woods again. I had no signal so I couldn’t call you, Y/N,” Sam lies.

“Did you get that bitch?”

“No, she escaped.”

“I could help you trace her. I’m good in tracing witches.”

“You would help me?” Sam rasps.

“Sure. I hate witches and she almost killed Dean. We should let him rest for a while and talk in my room, Sam. We need to make a plan and find out how she managed to get hold of Dean.”

“Lead the way, Y/N,” Sam says smiling.

Leaving the room with Sam you are relieved that Dean is alright.

Now you need to find a way to work with Sam…

Bowling Leagues

Characters: Five, Klaus, Kenny

Summary: Five is supposed to make friends his own age, Kenny needs a friend.

Five couldn't believe this. Out of everywhere he could have gone to have a ‘normal’ childhood, as Klaus had said, He decided to sign him up for a bowling league. A child's bowling league.

The worst part? Klaus got the information from Kenny's mother. Klaus had actually gotten this woman's number and chose to sign Five up for a bowling league with her son. Why did he stop the apocalypse? His life was much easier when the world was just a burning pile of rubble.

“Don't look so gloomy,” Klaus said cheerfully. Five knew that his siblings were trying to help him, to let him have the normal life they were all denied. He was grateful, he really was, but out of all the siblings in the house Klaus was the worst person to make decisions for him.

Klaus didn't notice Five's anguish as he continued. “I'll stay with you the whole time if you really want me to, a couple of the other moms stay and eat nachos. Did Alison give you the money for snacks?”

Five scowled but nodded and pulled out the wad of money, to much money, and set it in the cupholder next to Klaus. Klaus had just gotten his license and he didn't want to distract the driver, Klaus was distracted enough in general.

“Alright, that's all your to spend. Maybe bribe some kids into being your friends, huh?” Klaus said with a chuckle. Then he frowned. “Oh, uh not that I meant that. It was a joke.” From the way Klaus was wincing Five figured that Ben was yelling at him.

“Do you have money to get nachos?” Five asked. It wasn't what he wanted to say, what he wanted to say was fuck off, but his siblings were so hopeful and they were trying. It was only fair that Five tried too.

“You want me to stay?” Klaus asked, he was very obviously surprised. Five sighed.

“If I have to do this I'd rather not be alone. Now, do you have money for the nachos?” Five asked again. He pulled one of the twenties from the stack to give it to Klaus. He knew the man wouldn't have brought money, he knew the man didn't have money.

“Nah, that's your snack money though you use it to have a good time.” Five had to roll his eyes at his brother. The one time Klaus decided to be selfless is when Five wanted him to be selfish.

“Alison gave me two hundred dollars in twenties. I think I can spare a twenty for you.” Five watched his brother splutter for a minute before he seemed to get ahold of himself.

“Why in all if God's hairy bollocks would she give you two fucking hundred dollars to go bowling?”

“You guys are a bunch of idiots,” was Five's only comment.

When the two entered the bowling alley Klaus immediately went up to the counter to get a pair of rental shoes. Vanya was taking Five to get his own bowling gear tomorrow since she was off work for the entire day.

Five rolled his eyes as he went to where the group of kids were practicing their bowling techniques. Why was he doing this again? He wasn't even good at bowling.

He sat down away from the other kids and tried to look as unapproachable as possible. Soon a kid walked up to him, his head was down and he spoke shyly. “Can I sit next to you?”

Five just slid over on the bench leaving enough room for him to sit down. Five recognized this kid as Kenny. His glasses were sliding down his nose and his hair was in front of his face. He was wearing a pink polo shirt and khaki pants with his bowling shoes. He looked like the lamest kid on the planet.

Five did not want to be here. Luckily Kenny didn't push him to talk, just sat next to him and kept his eyes on the ground. His leg was bouncing and he was twiddling his fingers.

Some of the other kids approached and Five prepared himself to fend off conversations. The kids seemed to focus on Kenny though. Kenny was now looking away, towards where the adults were.

“Hey, Kenny? We haven't seen you in a long time,” one of the boys said. His tone was overly friendly and Five was suspicious. Kenny flinched.

“Ha!” Kenny bit his lip. The other kids laughed at him. “Ha!” Kenny put a hand over his mouth. Five looked over.

“What's so funny Kenny?” One girl mocked. Kenny yelled again. Five moved closer, interested in why Kenny was loudly yelling. “Is it funny how ugly you are, Kenny?”

Kenny put his head back down, Five could see his shoulders shake. Five couldn't explain why but he was getting angry. “Hey, fuck off.” The kids all turned to Five, sneers on their faces.

“Got a problem?” One of the boys scoffed. Five just nodded in response. Kenny was looking at him unsure of whether he could come closer or not.

“Ha!”

“My problem is that if you don't leave Kenny alon I'm going to rip your spinal cord out from your anus and shove it down your throat,” Five's voice dropped into a menacing tone. His face was dark and for once Five looked like the heartless assassin he was. Kenny was still shouting, but the other kids were beyond noticing as they had a face off.

Eventually, the other kids went off. Five moved so that he was sitting a bit closer to Kenny, at the normal distance between friends. Kenny smiled at him, his eyes glassy with hushed tears. “Ha! Thanks for that - Ha! - those kids can be really mean.” Five just shrugged at Kenny. He didn't think it was a big deal and he hoped Kenny wouldn't make it into one.

“Why are they such assholes?” Five asked. Kenny shrugged. The answer didn't satisfy Five so he simple raised an eyebrow, fixing the boy with an intimidating glare.

“I h-have - Ha! - tourette's. They think it's funny,” Kenny shrugged his shoulders again. Five wasn't exactly sure what tourette's entailed but he knew it involved tics, verbal and nonverbal, so Five decided against mentioning anything about his behavior.

“So you like to bowl?” Five changed the subject. Kenny sent him a beaming smile.

Practice was about to end so Klaus went to find Five and make sure he was okay. Best case scenario he was sitting alone watching the other kids, worst case scenario was that he had killed and/or tortured the other kids.

Klaus scanned the area and stopped dead. Five was sitting with another kid, they were actually talking. Klaus walked over to the two boys. “How're we doing?”

The kid let out a loud noise that made Klaus raise an eyebrow but Five ignored it as if it hadn't happened. “This is Kenny, Kenny this is my brother Klaus.” Klaus shook the kid's hand. “Nice to meet you.”

When the two brothers were in the car Klaus started the conversation. “So was it awful?” Five thought about it for a minute.

“Well, I didn't enjoy most of the kids or the bowling but I will go back next week,” Five admitted. Klaus grinned. “I mean, how will I kill Adam of I don't show up?”

Klaus immediately stopped grinning. He went to admonish Five but stopped when he saw the look on his brother's face. “Since when do you make jokes?”

Five shrugged. “Kenny introduced me to the world of puns, I'm easing myself into it. He also introduced me to mountain dew, he called it the kid's version of coffee.”

Klaus frowned. “Maybe this was a bad idea after all.”

Why destiel shippers should not speak about destiel endgame?

@the-winchesters-ruined-my-life asked the following question.

Thank you for the ask. A short while back, my prim and proper side, would have responded diplomatically that its a merely ship, an artistic platform, and therefore does not warrant any hate from most level headed people. However, I have to realize that even art activates the tolerance threshold. I used to read destiel slash out of curiosity. There are many more like me who dipped their toes in the destiel cesspool, only to recoil in disgust when they realized that it was probably going to give them gangrene. Destiel was a sweet little ship, once upon a time, until things dramatically changed for the worst. Most people who ship destiel are extreme by design because that is how the meta writers designed their thinking. Non heller fans contradict each other. I don't see that with hellers. Some upper echelon hellers says something and these fans just accept it without question. Take for example, the following post, recently penned by @anti-anti-destiel, lamenting the impending end of SPN.

The first flaw, is the OP's name. They are glitching the tags with a name like this. Everything and everyone has an anti tag. What makes destiel so special that it must never have an anti tag? That is manipulative and delusional because nothing will disappear just because you wished it away. People that are going to despise destiel are growing, whether OP sticks her head in the stand or not.

Anyway, here is the post, which I edited where necessary and italicized. My responses are in bold.

There has been talk about queerbaiting in the past, and whether or not SPN will go down in history as a show with a slow-burn queer romance, or whether it will be forever known as the most queerbaiting show in existence.

This is why non-destiel fans get infuriated. If there are any ''good'' destiel fans out there, why don't they tell this entitled princess to stop ruining the reputation of a show that has genuinely made people happy? SPNFamily is very ironic when you want to tear apart a show that gave made you smile for 14 seasons. This alone makes me wonder if there are any ''good'' destiel shippers out there. The other hot topic is that of queer baiting. Notice how queer baiting is NOT up for debate. I have seen the master list of ''proof'' that SPN is queer baiting. The parallels, metaphors and prop analysis are extremely insulting to adult human intellect. Performing Dean is perhaps the most biphobic concept I have ever come across. There is a reason these meta writers don't want their head canon's discussed because they know that people with logic with wipe the floor with them. I can almost picture Jensen bursting into laughter if he ever read that master list. It is that nonsensical. The meta writers claim they are being queer baited, and everyone believes it. Nobody questions the writers. Why?

When a meta writer writes something like this, how come low level destielers don't ever question her? Why not ask her: if Dabb and gang are destiel friendly, then why is it that Cas didn't even get invited to 300th episode family dinner party? They practically forgot about him. BuckLeming are NOT destiel friendly, because Leming [along with Misha] claimed that an episode with a turning point was coming up. Turns out there was no turning point. Leming and Misha were just making a mockery out of the destiel fans. Why is it that Leming was called out for that lie and NOT Misha?

And why is it that the most important people in this equation are always left out? Both Jensen and Jared have said time and again, that destiel is not part of SPN canon. How come they get left out? Do you think their opinion doesn't matter? And if it doesn't, then why is that? I would really like to know.

Other numerous cast and crew are destiel friendly. And before someone starts, regardless of previous statements, Jensen is more friendly to the idea than you may think.

Why don't any of the destielers ask this meta writer HOW she knows that Jensen is friendly to destiel? One fool told me that Jensen told her during a photo op that he was OK with destiel. But yet he says on stage that destiel doesn't exist. Now, why would he do that? What makes these idiots think that Jensen is two-faced or spineless. This meta writer said it, and everyone believed it. Not a single person decided to cross-examine her regarding her claims. Jensen doesn't like destiel. He destroyed the only panel he shares with Misha. I think getting death threats from hellers did it. I don't blame him.

Our main barrier is convincing Pedowitz and the Network Powers that be that it should happen. Fandom has campaigned, tulpa’d, prayed, begged, etc. We will know by May, 2020, what the decision will be.

So she wants to rally a bunch of delinquents to annoy and aggravate TPTB. And what fandom is she talking about. There are many fans who HATE destiel, because of Jensen's death threats, as well as arson, kidnapping and vandalism threats. Ordinary fans of SPN are fed up of destiel meta writers speaking up for every one of us. The destiel fans are only a subsection of the overall fan base. We would prefer if they didn't speak for us all. Pedowitz has already acknowledged only J2 as the leads and TPTB has told them that the show will go for as long as they want. So TPTB are acknowledging the leads opinions. Neither of the actors are going to say yes to destiel.

We have seen the hints in Dabb’s era, where it could go. He is ON BOARD, people. Whether you want to believe it or not. It’s so close to being fully textual canon.

What did she see in the Dabb era? Cas admiring Dean's looks? No, he admired Sam's looks. Dean telling Cas he loved him? No, he said that to Sam. Dabb is giving every other pairing its day in the sun, but not destiel. Why is that? I think it has something to do with the reputation destroying queer baiting accusation. This person is fooling you in order to stay relevant. I can tell you now, there are personal stakes involved in shipping. In order to stay popular and relevant, meta writers will spin mile long yarns. Meta writers are like a step up from a slash fic writer. In a weird way, they are revered without any merit or qualification. That is how gullible the destiel fan base is. They never probe a claim. And they never just enjoy their ship. Everything has to be about canon destiel, ship wars [their latest victim is sastiel] and they never acknowledge criminal threats. Being loyal to them means that you are popular with the bad crowd. Let that sink in.

So while some may be preparing for the eventual let-down, it is completely acceptable to keep the faith. If it doesn’t happen, it won’t be the fault of writers, cast, or crew.

Oh, no it will be the fault of the meta writers, like this joker, and Misha Collins. Misha has actively queer baited his fans for ten years. Its funny how Jensen is the bad guy for saying that destiel doesn't exist, but Misha is such a kidder if he says anything destiel and even cockles friendly. Misha Collins is the only person on the cast, crew and writers who actively and vocally pushed destiel consistently for ten years. So much so that he ignored sastiel. He changed that at Nashcon for reasons unknown. If you want to lash out at anyone for destiel not being canon, please go ahead and lash out at Misha. The only one who gave you any hope was Misha.

In conclusion: I have only met one destiel shipper [receipt on my blog], who acknowledged that destiel shippers were becoming ghastly and that Misha was egging on the troublemakers. She admitted that she didn't approve of his behavior. Other than her, I have not come across another. Other than this one person, nobody else deserves my empathy. When SPN ends without destiel being canon, prepare for the hellers being mocked by all and sundry, due to all the many enemies they earned for the threats, attacks on J2 and the vandalism. No one will feel sorry for them, because they ruined this fandom. Remember, Destiel is not a religion. Loving and believing it is not a prerequisite for being an SPN fan.

Suspended from Twitter Again from Organized Harassment

The thought of catching up scares me and it keeps me going back to check what happens on reddit etc and then I fucking just don’t want to write even though I am acting irrational on twitter more than usual. I then start commenting on twitter more than focus on my personal journal and I am prompted with people trying to trigger me because they sense vulnerability in me, and I feel these people are employed to do this kind of behavior, as you can tell from my plethora of videos, blogs, tweets, instagram posts etc. I have angered so many people in this world, where there is a team dedicated to fucking with me and tarnishing my image, and instilling paranoia in me, and since the Stern Show, I feel is responsible, even though I cannot confirm 100 percent, they have dedicated an obscure subreddit dedicated to me claiming they are working to get me banned from twitter, and other social media outlets, hinting my family and friends are in connection with government agents, because I am technically on a watch list, or at least that is how I see it, and they have limited my movements and since I have angered people in my life with jabs because I feel a lot of them are in connection with people behind the scenes. I know it sounds crazy that this type or organization is going on for an individual, but there are teams dedicated to doing this to others. People in the system, mostly public figures, have been targeted, and some of them behind the scenes are organizing teams for employed fandom to take over the internet, depending if that person is supposed to be popping.

I have been pointing out this for the last several years how this is going down or at least putting theories, that have not been officially backed up specifically, but there are plenty of articles in prominent news and media outlets that have shown you what the capabilities are based off what has happened in the past, and because I am not partaking in sports tribalism, and people knowing it might bother me because this type of pretentiousness bothers me when people make these sporting events seem like some great moment for history, as we are currently becoming America light, and since a lot of this is predetermined and is supposed to propel this city into the upper echelon, I feel like people are blinded by this, and not focusing on the political shit involved with all of this. I am glad Toronto is in the championship, it is cool, despite me being irrational and wanting to hate it because people who love it have contributed into hurting me behind the scenes and stumping my growth, and have stolen everything from me.

I am not allowed to even express any of my irrational behavior to help me to cope because by letting me speak out, people see me as a threat because I bring transparency into the system, and even though the people in charge, hypothetically, have tarnished my image from being credible, and being seen as someone in his mom’s basement who spews out conspiracies and is obsessed with pro wrestling, and he doesn’t want to get laid because he feels he is not mentally capable to satisfy women, and also believing some of them could be agents, but they will label me an incel, when the people they work for in the upper echelon are the ones who treat women horribly and basically bribe them to give them good PR and then when they are allowed to disclose a horrible scenario involving one of those men, then they are seen as crazy. These people have been entitled, and hell they don’t put men or women on a big stage unless they had to compromise themselves physically and mentally. I point that out and I am seen as the bad guy, and now that people are still tuning into seeing me, even by suppressing the views, so people can watch it by other means, in a group setting, because a lot of people online are a part of groups that gossip how to fuck with people, because they are given incentive, the system has bribed these people with perks and access and makes their lives a lot more comfortable, when they can’t suppress my views they will actively cut short some of my periscope sessions. I will do 20 plus minutes and these people will somehow make it 4 minutes or something.

More Whack Packers are dying and the ones alive are dealing with harassment are prompted to kill themselves and being harassed with the worst type of shit imaginable, and threats of doxing and instilling fear that Howard is going to kill me or that Vince McMahon will kill me, because I speak out on horrible things they may be accountable for even though they will never take accountability and they are protected, and so are the people who are attached to them, and now I feel they have constantly being fucked with me because they want me to be put in a hospital or they want me to attempt suicide, and the movements and transparency in my life seems people who are supposed to be close to me help in that regard, and it is much more important to be connected to what everyone else is doing that is popular, and stick by the official narratives, they would do it at the expense as someone who is supposed to be their friend. Social Justice Warriors, who claim to stand up for injustice, and some of them put their money where their mouth is, but others are just there for the limited narrative and they act outraged when they are told to, so it looks like they are speaking out against racism, when they ignore the larger chunk that is going on systemically. I spoken out how other Whack Packers could be sacrificed for their fame or what they contributed to the system, and Tan Mom and Marfan Mike are hospitalized, and people capitalize on that conspiracy and hint that I am the next Whack Packer who will die.

I have one asshole who is clearly obsessed with every move and speech I make and talks about it nonstop and misrepresents it and if I don’t give this dude and his group of people the entertainment, and for me to take the barrage of harassment about where I am in my life and how everything I am saying is delusion, but then I analyze them and this person in particular about what his life must be like, because he has made grand announcements he was done watching anything I do on periscope, but then constantly does it and then hints that people are after me, and it is clear this person is bought off because I can’t imagine anyone being this obsessed with me for fun. He is obviously protected and he makes claims that people in my life had people look into him for harassing me, just to make it seem like he is dealing with some harassment to take the fact off that I am dealing with the real deal.

No one with a platform is allowed to speak, and even anything that I write, this particular agent just takes everything I say and misrepresents it as delusion grandeur when I am not the only one going through this and the ones that are, are too afraid to address it because it makes them look crazy and I am a bigger target because I was on of the biggest radio shows in the history of radio. I got active mob bosses in this system trying to silence me, and they know by suspending my social media, I will implode, and I know people in my life are probably hoping for that too since everyone fucking hates me.

I know when I write this blog, barely anyone will care because people are only invested when I am mentally breaking down and not being able to fucking handle any of the backlash and it becomes great entertainment for them to get to interact with a whack packer from the Stern Show because they are more invested in harassing me or harassing Wendy because it does not have to focus on their shitty lives so they attack people within the system, even wrestlers go through this targeted shit, but I don’t know if they realize they system they are emboldened to, are probably the ones organizing it since the people in charge exploit anything while pretending they care about these social issues and mental issues, while helping perpetuate the harassment, and when people like me speak out, and even as irrelevant I seem to be, I still anger a good chunk of them and they are constantly coming for me. and they will not stop until I am completely self destructive and kill myself, and the fact that people in my life could be helping with that just so they can have access to these institutions and all the industry sex workers they could ask for because they are that easily compromised, but they are doing it at my expense, when me being a public joke for the Stern Universe and the Wrestling Universe to get a hold of, they have profited off of it behind the scenes more than anyone and will never admit anything.

They will never stop and it is fine if 10 people read this, I hope that some people who do read this actually know what is going on and please let it be known that this is happening as no media outlet will fucking care about this, because they are told when they can start going after stories, even as truthful some of the leftist ones are, they have to be compromised a little bit, even with the conspiracies, you would think someone on the Stern Show would attract these people to see what I am thinking right, but even they are limited. Only when some vindication occurs, or if I implode and something horrible happens, then after the fact they will care, they will not see my growth and exposing the way the system has manipulated us into hating each other and being more racist, misogynistic, homophobic, and presented it as the cool thing to do because I bought into it for a good portion of my life, but these people who have the chance to do it, don’t because they would limit their discussion and not have nuance and pretend they are speaking out on something big and powerful, when it is merely just calling out one person in the system who said something racist, and people behind the scenes don’t care, it is meant for a limited narrative and because I am sick of the status quo, and have constantly spoken out on shit that I have to say are theories, because I can’t prove a lot of it, they still see me as a threat and will continue.

Normally I write down my thoughts privately but even that is not 100 percent private, it is constantly hacked and people move my cursor around when I spew some venom just to get it off my chest and since I have not written down anything it is getting difficult to know what is in my fucking mind. They will keep fucking with my mental health and it will never stop. I am clearly not high on anyone’s list to help out, even though I have taken on big wigs like Stern. I don’t care how irrelevant he seems to be to the culture, he has pull behind the scenes, even the negative he still controls I think, he can easily have it seen as the people who hate him are the republican Trump supporters, while also being a secret Trump supporting, but somehow on this endearment tour he is going out on, he has convinced people he has secret information about Trump not wanting to be the president, which would beg the question, why did he not say anything before the election? He is in bed with Trump, and he is protected as long as Trump is in power, but no one can see this and the ones who can, are not allowed to say anything. They have managed to censor me during the Raptors game, because it hurts people locally to know that I point out that this is all predetermined, and maybe it is my irrationality and insecurity that I did not connect with my city, and someone who has sold their souls have more respect in this city than someone like me, who did not want to partake in rituals that compromised another life, and then later on have a rabid fan base attack those people and make them seem crazy. Maybe with all my flaws, I still have a fucking soul and actually don’t want people to be discriminated against or oppressed.

People will sacrifice their own loved ones to be part of the upper echelon and it makes me not want to be part of this world, because as far as I am concerned I was never loved, all through my life they have made it known how they treat me, even back in high school or now because Stern has allowed them to be trolls in the system who can put me down because they resent me for being someone who blew up and I can see what their intention is, and when they got what they needed, they sold me out and exclude me from anything that does not benefit them because they secretly hate me. So why don’t you just end me, you won’t though, because I have been told I am needed here, I need to be mentally tortured and limited, as long as pretentious people in the system and in my life prosper and can control me. I don’t want any part of it. Let me die. Come on Howard, sacrifice me, like you supposedly sacrifice other Whack Packers, and then your sick fan base can claim “HE GAVE THEM FAME AND WITHOUT STERN THEY WOULDN’T BE KNOWN” while allowing a sick fan base to treat us like shit and then you make all the fucking profits. I will never have it, and if I did they would certainly fucking kill me, and until then they are hoping they fucking I fucking kill myself because it would fit into their narrative better, maybe pat themselves on their back for feeling bad for this torture while they helped create it. Whenever I’ve seen u hate on Sansa you always point out her trusting baelish in s7 and her behavior with the Karstarks. Both were bad decisions but the reasons make sense. Karstarks- Sansa went through hell with Ramsay and she I think she wants to be strict making sure that the north knows there are consequences for their actions should they turn on her. Deep down she probably knows two children can’t hurt her much but since she’s been betrayed a lot and in the worst ways- she’s very paranoid.

Part 2- she is just falling into the bad habit of being overly paranoid. Next her trusting baelish- Sansa always ever since s2 knows that baelish is not trustworthy but she never had anyone else that seemed willing to actually take her home. Yes he betrayed her but at that point it had become a habit to trust him and to be manipulated by him. Dany took 7 seasons to acknowledge that drogo raped her. Sansa took 7 seasons to finally realize that baelish will NEVER be on her side.

Part 3- a lot of ppl also bring up the way she acted with the lords when they spoke abt Jon. Sansa has never been seen as anything but a pawn and now she’s actually valued by the lords so it went straight to her head. Also she did explain that the northern lords are always shifty and that she needs there support in the wars to come so she can’t anger them! I love all the asoiaf ladies and I think the reason some may not like Sansa is bc it’s harder to get inside her head and understand.

Separate ask but also about Sansa so I’m combining them (Anon 2):

You don’t have to like Sansa but if you ever become part of the Sansa fandom.. not all of us hate dany or hate every character besides Sansa. Everyone I follow loves Sansa and Dany and especially loves Sansa and Arya. Yes ppl ship jonsa (I personally don’t) and most ppl who ship jonsa dislike Dany but a lot of ppl that like Sansa don’t even ship jonsa. There are lot of vocal jonsa fans but that fandom is VERY small.

Okay. I am so tired of talking about Sansa on this blog. Why do her supporters continue asking me about her? My opinions of her have not changed. The first 3pt ask did not made me change my opinions about her. And I severely disagree with everything the first asker wrote. Surely Anon 1, you had to have know I’d deconstruct your argument in my answer, right? So are we to have a back and forth of you sending me anons in regards to Sansa, and me continuing to dig my heels in about her because I firmly believe where I stand on here and have canon to back it up? I will answer these questions today. But I ask that people stop sending me questions about Sansa. I don’t like her. I have never liked her. I have never wanted to be in the “Sansa” fandom. I don’t enjoy watching scenes with her character in them. I didn’t enjoy reading her chapters in ASOIAF. And I don’t want to discuss her character anymore. I don’t even enjoy comparing her to Daenerys and don’t see why so many people do because they are very different characters with very different stories and journeys but since her rabid stans (not the non-rabid ones) hate Daenerys and always make Sansa-Dany comparisons, I’m forced to do so also to refute the wrong and hateful assumptions made about Dany.

But from now on, I’m going to try to refrain from talking about Sansa as much as possible because...I really don’t want to and don’t like to. So again, please no more asks about her.

Anon 1: You admit Sansa is overly paranoid and that Sansa likely knew the Karstark and Umber kids wouldn’t hurt her and blame her paranoia on Ramsay and say her “bad decisions” as you call them - trusting Baelish and not trusting the Umber and Karstark kids - make sense.

Whoa, there’s a lot to unpack there.

Let’s start with Ramsay - Sansa is paranoid because of Ramsay (and likely all her other tormentors - Joffrey, Cersei, and Lysa). But who put Sansa in that position with Ramsay? And the position with Lysa? BAELISH. If Baelish hadn’t kissed Sansa out in the open where Lysa could see, then Sansa’s life wouldn’t have been threatened by Lysa in the first place.

It’s almost as if Baelish did it on purpose so he had an excuse to kill Lysa and further endear himself to Sansa. Lysa comes across as crazy. She nearly kills Sansa. Baelish steps in and “saves” Sansa. But Baelish only saved Sansa from the threat that HE opened her up to.

AND Baelish didn’t need to kill Lysa. She calms down once he tells her he’s only ever loved one woman. He could have continued lying to her but he wanted to get her out of the way so he killed her.

Sansa learns about Lysa being the one to kill Jon Arryn on Baelish’s orders. She learns that it was Baelish’s idea for Lysa to send the letter to Catelyn that it was the Lannisters who killed Jon when really it was Lysa, thereby starting the conflict between Stark and Lannister. Baelish doesn’t kill Lysa because he just doesn’t want her around anymore and doesn’t want to deal with her. He kills her because she knows too much. AND NOW SANSA KNOWS TOO.

Doesn’t this sound familiar? It’s just like with Ser Dontos. Dontos knew too much and was a drunk - Lysa knew too much and was not of sound mind. Sansa has witnessed Baelish killing both these people who know too much of his shady dealings and yet...she still keeps him around. WHY???

He’s also the one who sold her to Ramsay Bolton. Saved her from monsters who murdered her family and gave her to other monsters who murdered her family. Even if Ramsay was a stand up guy...Roose still plunged a knife into Robb Stark’s heart. Her father-in-law would be the man who killed her brother. That’s all kinds of fucked up.

And it’s all because of Baelish.

Knowing all this about Baelish, Sansa keeps him as her ONLY confidante. She doesn’t even seek Maester Wolkan’s council! The man who is MEANT to council and serve the Lord/Lady of Winterfell!!! We’ve only got one scene of the two of them together and Sansa is telling Wolkan what to do, she’s not asking for his advice. Wolkan would have been a much more neutral and wiser advisor and yet, Sansa never seeks his advice. Not on what to do about the Northern Lords, not on what to do about Arya - WHICH IF SANSA HAD CONFIDED IN WOLKAN ABOUT THE ARYA SITUATION AND THE LETTER SHE WOULD HAVE SNIFFED OUT BAELISH’S PLOT THAT MUCH QUICKER!!!!!!!! FFS I’m getting so mad about this. Wolkan was a man of the Citadel, sworn to the castle he served, sworn to HER. And she never sought his advice. Damnit this makes me so mad. How can anyone justify this? How can anyone say Sansa’s mistrust of people in general would mean she turns to the man she’s seen kill two people because of wanting to keep his secrets safe and not trust the man who’s sworn to serve her.

If Sansa is so goddamn mistrustful, she should have kicked Baelish to the curb. Not kept him in her presence whispering in her ear 24/7. How could she not suspect him of trying to play her? HOW???

Moving on....

On to Alys Karstark and Ned Umber. You say this was a bad decision but one that made sense for what Sansa’s gone through. I call bullshit. Alys and Ned are meant to be portrayed as children, Alys possibly of an age with Sansa, but Ned clearly much younger.

However, Alys’s age doesn’t really matter because Sansa treats her and Ned the same. She wants to kick them out. Anon 1, you say this is because Sansa wants the North to know what happens to people who betray her - which, hello, I’m surprised you even worded it like that because that’s usually the kind of accusation that gets hurled at Daenerys. So you’re saying Sansa is vengeful? She wants her people to fear her? Because that is ruling with fear. Making her people afraid of the consequences if they cross her and making an example of two innocent children - that’s ruling by fear. I don’t know how people can see it any other way.

And Sansa, who was a child with the label of “traitor’s daughter” after Ned’s whole ordeal, should know how children can often get caught up in their parent’s political mishaps. While she wasn’t forced from her home, she also couldn’t go back to her home because it was taken from her family. And yet, knowing what she went through, she wants to do the same thing to Ned Umber and Alys Karstark. I’m saying it was a bad decision...and it didn’t make any sense.

The people Sansa really should have been critical of and kept a watchful eye over - were the Lords who were directly involved with not coming to House Stark’s aid. Manderly, Glover, Cerwin. They were the ones who truly turned their backs on House Stark. Ned and Alys however are innocent, weren’t the ones who betrayed the Starks (it was their fathers who are now dead) and they both showed up to court at Winterfell when they were called to do so! Ned and Alys left their homes and went to Winterfell - likely at Jon’s command - knowing there was a possibility they may be going to answer for their father’s crimes. But they dutifully went anyway. Ned and Alys just by being at Winterfell in 7x01 rather than holding up in their castles fearing the Starks - shows way more loyalty and faith than what Manderly, Glover, and Cerwin did before the Battle of the Bastards. This has nothing to do with Sansa’s previous experiences with betrayal and Ramsay’s savagery and whatnot. It’s just plain ignorance and stubbornness. And it may have earned her enemies in Ned and Alys should the North get divided between her and Jon (not that it ever would, but just saying).

As stated, I don’t want to be in the Sansa fandom and don’t care. However, I think you’re severely mistaken when saying the Jonsa fandom is SMALL. They’re not. They’re all over the place on Tumblr and have pretty much taken over the Sansa Stark tag here. I honestly don’t know how her fans who are not Jonsas or don’t hate everyone else, Dany included, can even operate on this site because of all the bile they spew. I truly feel bad for the Sansa fans who are kind and enjoy other characters and don’t post hate. I really do. I don’t know how you guys stay sane. It seems like an even more difficult part of the fandom to reside in than being a Daenerys stan to be honest. But I want no part of it. I am a Daenerys blog, a Daenerys stan. I love other characters, but Sansa isn’t one of them - though I will acknowledge her wins and achievements when it is appropriate because I am not so lowly that I think everything Sansa does is a mistake and try to hate on her all the time. I can see when she’s done good and has a win and I will celebrate her wins with the rest of the fandom because I love Game of Thrones and ASOIAF and if Sansa has a win, then that’s great.
