Jeonghan’s POV

Jeonghan was in awe. He didn’t know what to do or how to act with the message invite that seemed to be mocking the scream he gave as he slammed his computer shut two minutes ago.

“Okay, Han. You can do this. It’s not that big a deal. Your favorite cammer sends you an invite to be in a group chat. Happens all the time.” He tried to hype himself, his shaking hand hovering the mouse over the accept button as he screams internally.

He gave a final sigh, pressing the right mouse button before squeezing his eyes shut. After a minute of having his eyes closed, he peeped one open, seeing the active chat that he was now a part of.

candy_princess: Oh good, Hanni is here!

He winced as he heard his audible whimper. God, he could only imagine what his name would sound like coming out of your mouth.

Jeonghan gave a small laugh as he read the chat, the men that were with him certainly were funny.

PrettyHanni: Ahh, i would have joined sooner but i was having an internal crisis, i guess you can call it.

S_Cheol: So basically, you were fanboying?

GentleHong: Dude, who wouldn’t fanboy over Candy?

DivaBoo: EXPOSED

HappyVirusMinnie: OOF

With a shake of his head, Jeonghan typed out a reply, figuring there was no sense in hiding his blatant fanboy moment.

PrettyHanni: Oh yeah? Don’t sit there and tell me you didn’t freak the fuck out

S_Cheol: oh im not, i literally threw my phone across my room and scared my hamster-

Jeonghan laughed loudly as he got himself comfortable on his bed, propping his laptop on his lap.

candy_princess: AWW you have a hamster?!

S_Cheol: haha, yea i do, he’s a little shit though

sweaterpaws_Wonwoo: Dude dont disrespect your hamster like that smh

S_Cheol: okay well when he decides to crawl into your hoodie sleeve and bite your armpit then you’ll realize-

As Jeonghan was reading (and laughing) the chat, he started thinking. He’s been watching your lives for a long time now, almost a year and a half, with the same thirteen men on a constant, yet he knew nothing about them. Then again, most people don’t try and make friendships of the basis ‘Hey, i jack off to this camgirl and i know you do too, wanna hang out?’ He gave a laugh at that thought, just imagining the scenario until he was brought back to reality by the chat.

SuperiorMaknaeDino: Hey, Candy? can i ask something

candy_princess: of course!

SuperiorMaknaeDino: I’m not complaining, but why did you make this group chat?

iconicboyhansol: I’ve been wondering that too

As Jeonghan read what he typed he tilted his head, getting lost in his thoughts once more. Why did you make the chat? What was so special about the thirteen of them that possessed you, who rarely did private streams and never did private chats to want to talk to them like this?

candy_princess: oh..well to be honest with you guys, it was mainly to say thank you for alway supporting my streams. Hell =, you guys definitely donate the most out of any of my viewers, you practically pay my rent, so i just wanted to get to know the men responsible for my happy living.

Jeonghan didn’t know how to stop his heart from pounding against his chest. He knew you were cute but this was an entire nother level of adorable and Jeonghan liked it way more than he should have.

PrettyHanni: Honestly, you just became 10x more adorable to me-

He chuckled as he watched the other guys tease you for your adorable mini speech. It was strange, it almost felt normal how comfortable he felt talking with you and the others, like he belonged there with them.

Jeonghan chuckled at what he said, never relating to a sentence more in his life.

Jeonghan’s brow quirked in interest, sitting up a bit straighter as he read your message.

candy_princess: I wanted to ask if you all would be interested in doing a few private streams, one on one, and possibly filming with me, one on one, if youre up for it...

Jeonghan’s breath hitched in his throat, causing him to go into a coughing fit, almost dropping his laptop. He was speechless. One on one cam streams as well as filming with you..holy fuck he was getting lost in his imagination.

S_Cheol: Oh fuck..you actually mean it?

candy_princess: Im dead serious, i swear, but only if you all want to.

Jeonghan didn’t hesitate as he typed out his answer.

Jeonghan gave a deep sigh, heart practically failing from the thoughts of getting private cams from you as well as the opportunity of filming with you. He could feel himself getting excited just at the thought of it.

GentleHong: Alright, Princess, get some sleep okay, but first drink some water and get a shower before you get too sleepy.

Jeonghan chuckled as he watched you say your goodbyes, his own tiredness starting to set into his body as a few of them said their own goodbyes, his included. He shut off his laptop and ran a hand through his hair, sighing as he thought about the night he just had. From getting off work to jacking off as you pleased yourself on camera, to being offered the chance to be with you one on one. He was in awe. He stopped wallowing in his thoughts and got out of bed, changing into some pajama’s before getting into bed, mind not entirely prepared for what the next days would bring.

im glad im not the only one who found the truck ad thingy strange.. i mean do people seriously think yg has or will ever give a shit? bc I don't. of course, some staff members might care about bb as people but the company won't? and why do I feel like ot5s are always demanding stuff they don't even know the members want/need? its a nice sentiment i guess but i always get the feeling they don't trust the members somehow? oh well. yb said what he said, i'll take his word for it. it'll be alright.

The project wasn’t what I was expecting -- and by that I mean it wasn’t as BAD as I was expecting -- so I’m not too bothered by it. But it was still embarrassing and IMO reflected poorly on IVIPs as a whole. Because in some ways it was a bit tone-deaf. BB aren’t having activities right now primarily because of COVID, sure, but there is of course another reason why they’ve been keeping things on the down low since last year and giving their image time to slowly recover. You know who. He is so hated by Korea at the moment that the Korea Subway Transportation Corporation refused an ad for BIGBANG bearing his name and face not because he isn’t a member of the group anymore but because he’s considered “immoral”. So, what do OT5 IVIPs do? Go and put him in a paid ad for BIGBANG demanding protection against hate. Aimed at YG, no less, who he no longer has a contract with 🤦 “Foreign roaches should read the room,” one knetizen commented. Yeah, some of us can. OT5s can’t. I swear these people wake up every day with the goal of finding new ways to get the guys dragged.

In another recent fan project (Fanplus) a fanmade OT4 poster was selected to celebrate BB’s upcoming 14th anniversary in Korean subway stations. OT5s raged online and bombarded the company with hate to the point where Fanplus issued a statement politely requesting that fans stop sending them profanity. This made the news in Korea, by the way. These fans ran amok on Twitter, plotting to sabotage the project (yes that’s the word they used), promising to vandalize the displays, and threatening to tear them down. Y’all. Who needs antis when you’ve got fans like that? Ironically, these OT5s don’t seem to realize they’ve become the very thing they’re asking YG to protect BB from.

And no, they don’t trust the members in the slightest. If they did they would stop screaming at them about Seungri daily and trying to strong-arm them into giving them what they want. They would stop baiting them into making statements about him... then manipulating, misinterpreting, and mistranslating their words when what they get isn’t quite what they were hoping for. They would see the foolishness of slapping his face on promotional posters and would think twice about demeaning the members by placing him front and center. If they truly trusted BB they would stop shoving him on them, where he no longer belongs, and on us, where he’s no longer wanted. They would quit forcing the issue, give up their demands, and simply let it be. Accept what’s happened and what is -- quietly.

If they trusted the members they would also let go of this pretense of concern they’ve been flaunting lately. “We care more about the members’ mental health than a comeback,” they boast, in a seemingly well-meaning but actually backwards attempt to disguise the fact that they’re reluctant (and for some, downright unwilling) to support new material from a four-member BIGBANG. It’s only a nice sentiment until you understand where it’s coming from, this faux caring. They are hoping the guys will lie low a little longer, quietly and uneventfully, their creative energies suppressed until their disgraced ex-member returns from the military and ~rejoins~ them. They’re pushing a tragic narrative that says the members are too depressed and broken to make music without him. Believing they don’t want to come back as four and patting themselves on the back for telling the guys to take it easy until they can be five again. Yeah, that sounds an awful lot like wishful thinking to me, from a group of fans who still, after a year and a half, haven’t come to terms with our new reality. We all know whose mental health they’re really protecting by balking at the idea of new music -- and it ain’t BIGBANG’s.

What’s especially funny about this is -- well, you know those teasers from TOP over the last few days? The clips from the studio with the caption “working,” him spitting lines with a vengeance, dancing in his PJs and looking for all the world like someone who’s ready to take on the stage, and even dropping a “Big Bang,” getting us all stirred up with excitement? He posted those just as these “we’re not asking for a comeback because we care” arguments were making rounds on Twitter. The timing could not have been better. Thanks, TOP, for serving a reminder to those who’ve forgotten (or have never known) that the most healing thing a creative person can do is keep creating 😘

In short, the truck project was messy, reckless, and unnecessary. And Youngbae’s “Cheer up, guys” that followed, with a fun message about shaking off hate, is all the encouragement I needed, personally, to keep believing good things are on the horizon for BIGBANG. I trust they know what they're doing. All there is for us to do is be there for them when the time comes. Until then, we wait.

Of course! I really really really recommend reading chapter 4 again. It's the first time you see Baekhyun being vulnerable - and it has significance to the color/gif teaser. Pay attention to what he and the other characters say (yes it is 20k words <.< but focus on the tears. The road of tears is the way to go).

“Did you see Kitten this morning? It’s like she wanted to get ruined again.”

“Give our sweet Princess a break – she’s only human after all…”

“Hmm, we both know there’s not a single thing that our sweet Kitten can’t handle.”

Your eyelashes battled innocently, cheeks reddening the more you listened. A harmonious mixture of disbelief and embarrassment painting your face.

It was impossible to strip your gaze away from them - the way Taehyung and Jimin moved their plump lips, lustful words dancing off the tips of their tongues. The way they spoke, one would have thought they were talking about their wines, not their sexual rendezvous.

What a way to start the day.

“Kitten? Princess?” You spoke with a perfectly raised brow, fingers tapping on the armrest of the couch you sat upon. An easy thing, designed by the one and only, Taehyung, himself. But the newest addition of furniture was the last thing on your mind, especially knowing that Jimin and Taehyung were utterly love-struck.

As if Eros shot them with one of his arrows.

It wasn’t that you thought Taehyung or Jimin was incapable of loving someone; you just didn’t think they would share, let alone with a mere mortal.

Your smooth voice reminded them of your presence, and they smirked to each other - leaning back into the couches they sat on. You could only imagine the filth coursing through those corrupt minds of theirs – was their mother really a human? They seem more like direct offspring of Aphrodite and Dionysus...

Taehyung’s arms rested along the back of the couch, his fingers drumming as he crossed his legs, “She’s a beauty, y/n. But more importantly-”

“She loves us, both of us.” Jimin finished, manspreading as his hands brushed through his hair, a sweet but devilish smile on his face. And just like that, you could see it; love.

It twinkled in their eyes, and despite their shameless talks and the physical attractions, they genuinely loved her.

Seeing them sporting the broadest smiles on their faces, in utter bliss, made your heart swell with happiness. “And to think that just a moment ago, you were cute, awkward, teenagers.” you giggled, brushing your curtain of hair behind your ears, smiling.

You’ve seen them grow, all six of them, ever since you began a courtship with the eldest brother, Seokjin. To see them now, grown men, handsome and wise, and smitten, was the best thing that could have happened to you. Strangely, you felt like all of the brothers were your children, and it made sense since you’ve known them all from the very beginning.

“Have the others met her? I would love to meet her.” You smiled, leaning forward with excitement, and Taehyung let his long fingers tap against the couch, “Almost everyone, except Yoongi…but, you know him…”

You pouted, nodding knowingly.

He had his own worries, his own love troubles, and seeing people madly in love would most likely dampen his mood even more.

“We actually came to visit because we have a favour to ask…” Jimin beamed, his voice light as he leaned forward, elbows on his knees. With a tilted head, you nodded, eager to hear what the great Gods of Wines could possibly want from just a butterfly nymph-like yourself.

And the moment they spoke, you felt your heart stop, face dropping that stunning smile to a forced one.

“We want to make her ours - officially. And there’s no one else we could trust with planning such an event than yourself.” Taehyung spoke, his eyes hazing over as he smiled to himself. Your breath hitched at his words, he couldn’t possibly mean what you think he does.

“Y-you’re talking about marriage?” You muttered under your breath, and Jimin grinned.

“Who would’ve thought we would be settling down already?” Taehyung and Jimin chuckled to themselves, nodding in unison at the thought, utterly oblivious of the sound of your involuntary giggle, hands intertwined on your lap.

Your nails dug into your skin, bottom lip trembling as you thought about it – marriage.

You loved Jimin and Taehyung, but not that way. You were happy that they were happy, glad that they found the one. The twisting of your stomach, the lump that built up in your throat, was caused by an entirely different meaning.

You’ve been with Jin for God knows how long, and yet, he never did propose or make any move that would suggest he was thinking of it. And while they were plenty of happy couples in Olympus, unmarried and with no desire to do so, marriage was something the both of you expressed a desire for and valued.

How long has it been? Five hundred, maybe even six hundred years in mortal time?

That gut-wrenching feeling, skin-crawling - you were jealous.

Jimin and Taehyung were ready to propose to a woman, whom they’ve known for less than a quarter than how long you and Jin have been dating.

“I’m happy for you two.” You spoke slowly, compelling a smile to stay on your face as you gazed over at the two boys.

It wasn’t like you fantasized about being a wife since you were little, but it still hurt. It was something you both cherished, and you didn’t think the relationship was failing, so what was it? If only you could pop the question, you totally would; but given his status, that was a no-go.

Were you wasting your time?

Asking too much from a God?

Was he… was he in love with someone else? It wasn’t uncommon for the Gods to stray away…only a handful of them stay faithful – the brothers being prime examples. But Jin isn’t that type of man. He’s committed, that was never a realistic fear…unless it should?

Your heart was pounding vigorously, as if someone stuffed a waterfall inside of your body. The soft mummers from the boys were lost to the thrashing in your head – oblivious to the confused looks they shared with one another.

Was Jin just content?

Maybe he does value marriage, just not with you.

Now that you’re thinking about it…

The more you thought, the more you realized the odd things that started to happen in your relationship…like how Jin kept freezing up every time you hugged him or gave him a peck. Or how awkward he seemed at times at your presence, like he was uncomfortable or stress.

It was like Jin was there with you but not at the same time…was our relationship falling apart right under your nose, and you just never noticed?

And just like that, you felt it; hands resting over yours, causing your eyes to flutter open – not realizing you had even shut them. Jimin was kneeling in front of you, his hands grasping yours.

“What’s wrong…? Are you mad at us?” Jimin questioned, voice strained.

“N-no, sorry, I was just thinking and- sorry. I’m fine, Jimin, don’t worry-” you cooed desperately, cupping his hands and pressing a bright smile. But Jimin sulked, shaking his head at the words you spoke.

“What’s wrong y/n…we know you just as well as you know us.” Taehyung huffed. He leaned over his knees, eagerly awaiting your answer.

Your mouth opened and closed, unsure of what to say.

What do you say? That you’re jealous of some woman you never even met? That you want to marry their brother?

“I-it’s nothing, I promise. I’ll gladly help you two with your wedding.”

“It’s Seokjin…isn’t it?” Taehyung muttered under his breath. With that statement alone, he clicked his tongue, head shaking as he straightened his back and gazed away. You couldn’t stop your breath from hitching, surprised that he guessed as fast as he did, but also not since it would be the only answer that would make sense.

Jimin glowered, the grip on your hand tightening tenfold, forcing your eyes to fall back on the man kneeling before you. “J-Jimin, sit up. You know it’s shunned upon for a God to kneel before anyone less than a God.”

“But you’re not just anyone. You’re practically our mother.” He grumbled.

His small hand untangled themselves with yours, dusting his stunning black silks as he stood. A sad smile painted your pink lips – they viewed you as a mother figure, and that meant tons.

“I’m not sure what Seokjin did, but you know how he is. He can be so aloof.” Taehyung grumbled under his breath, and you couldn’t help but laugh breathlessly. He had a point…although Taehyung isn’t one to talk – aloofness was, more often than not, his middle name at times.

But it wasn’t that Jin was unwise, he just proved…oblivious in certain areas.

For someone who was such a family man, a man who valued tradition and customs, he was unusually slow to picking up specific hints. There was a reason why you had to initiate the first kiss, the hand-holding…what a frustrating man he can be.

Was it aloofness?

No…it was more so his fear of pushing you – hurting you.

“You’re my butterfly – and I never want to be the reason why you no longer flutter as beautifully as you do.” You smiled sheepishly, remembering his romantic words – what a goof.

“Does…Seokjin wish to marry me?” you muttered under your breath, more so a question for yourself than for your boys to hear.

Jimin’s eyes widen, his jaw almost dropping as he huffed angrily to himself, “That’s it, I’m going to talk with him. What’s wrong with that man? He’s beyond self-conceited and prides himself in being the most handsome God that he’s forgetting to pay some attention to you.”

You blushed at Jimin’s words, hearing the anger in his voice.

There was one thing you learned about these boys – it was that Jimin was a sweetheart, but if pushed, he could make Zeus himself fearful. Standing tall, he raged internally, his jaw clenched as he brushed back his hair messily – a habit of his that often-had men and women swooning.

“Jimin, no need to get so worked up-”

“But it’s utterly pathetic. He’s our older brother, yet Taehyung and I are set to wed before him! How embarrassing on his part. Can you even call yourself a God at that point?”

He nailed it.

“M-maybe Seokjin isn’t interested-”

“Now, you’re starting to anger me, y/n.” Taehyung growled under his breath, his hazel eyes glaring at you with venom. Tones of exasperation and annoyance were unfamiliar, let alone having it directed towards yourself.

Baseball Crash Course / Teaser / One / Two

Summary: Tom’s second game!!

(A/n: I’ll update the baseball crash course a little later! The tag list is OPEN, so please send me an ask to be added! ALSO. IM A NATS FAN LET ME JOKE ABOUT BRYCE HARPER’S EGO AND HIS HAIR.)

You thought you’d be prepared for Tom’s second Major League game, but you were sorely mistaken. The second game was even more stressful than the first.

Tom was batting 6th in the order, starting at shortstop once again. You knew it would be a rough game within the first few minutes.

The lead-off man for Tom’s opponents hit a routine ground ball at Tom on his fourth pitch. It was a roller, should’ve gone straight to him and gone straight to first for an easy first out. But it didn’t. The ball took a funny hop off the infield dirt and jumped up. Tom stopped the ball with his chest and it dropped into his glove.

“You’ve got time, Tom, c’mon, slow down, breathe,” you muttered under your breath, seeing him tense up as soon as the ball bounced. You’d watched enough of his games to know exactly how he’d react. “Don’t overthrow it, baby, c’mon, breathe.”

Tom fumbled with the ball in his hand. He looked up, saw the runner almost to first, and threw the ball haphazardly without setting his feet or body first. The ball went sailing over the first baseman’s head and into the opposing team’s dugout. The ump called time as Tom covered his mouth with his glove, which meant he was cursing at himself. It went in the scorebook as an E6.

“C’mon, Tom, calm down,” you whispered. You knew he couldn’t hear you, but you had a habit of talking to the players under your breath.

Luckily, the very next pitch was another ground ball, this time to the second baseman. Tom sprinted to cover second as the second baseman scooped up the ball and underhanded it to him. He easily caught it, touched the bag, and smoothly threw it straight to the first baseman for a 4-6-3 double play. Tom immediately relaxed, knowing he had redeemed himself and the bases were clear.

A quick 3-pitch strikeout ended the inning, and Tom jogged back to the dugout. He glanced at you as he did, and you smiled. Calm down, you mouthed at him.

He nodded once, signaling to you he understood, and he disappeared in the sea of his teammates.

Tom didn’t get to bat until the bottom of the second inning. He had a man on first and one out as he stepped up to the plate.

First pitch he always watched. If Tom swung on a first pitch, it was because he thought it was perfect. But you could count on one hand the amount of times you’d seen him do it in all your years.

This at bat was no different. He took the first pitch low and inside for ball one. He stepped out of the box, looked at his bat, and took a deep breath before reentering.

Tom’s batting stance was very different from some of his teammate’s. He was small, but had some unexpected power. He averaged four or five home runs every year in college. When he was at the plate, he stood practically on the line of the box, as close to the plate as possible without leaving the box. Pitchers weren’t used to someone who crowded the plate that much, so he’d been hit by a lot of balls over the years.

He also crouched down and made himself look even smaller, which had been somewhat deceiving to both the pitcher and the umpires, so he had a lot of walks in addition to his hit by pitches. He’d tried opening up his stance before, standing up a little taller, but it extended his strike zone significantly, and he tended to strike out when he did so.

The pitcher threw his second pitch to Tom, another low ball, nearly hitting the plate. Ball 2. Tom stepped out of the box, taking a deep breath with a small smirk. When he got ahead in the count, he tended to get a little bit cocky and relax, telling himself that the pitcher was scared of him. You had no idea why, but it actually worked; his mindset when he was ahead had helped him make some critical hits.

Third pitch, nicely placed vertically, but it flew way outside the plate and the catcher nearly dove to stop it. The crowd collectively Oohed and Tom was ahead in the count 3-0.

The pitcher was incredibly frustrated. He didn’t have the control he wanted, and you could see him shaking his head several times before he threw a pitch, signaling to his catcher that he didn’t like the pitches being called. He stepped off the mound and took a moment to calm himself before he resumed the game. He stepped back onto the mound, one foot on the rubber and one foot in front. He looked at his catcher, and shook his head several times before sighing and pitching the ball.

It was an inside pitch, but it got away from the pitcher and sailed towards Tom. He tried to get out of the way, but the pitch hit Tom’s thigh with an audible slap that made you cringe. The ump called time and Tom sank down to the ground. Your breath caught in your throat.

No matter how many times he took a hit, you still held your breath, praying he’d be okay. The worst hit he’d taken was on his elbow before he started wearing his guard. It was a 98 mph fastball from a senior starting pitcher when he was a freshman. The pitcher went on to be a first round draft pick and was now very successfully starting regularly for his major league team. The seam of the ball made contact with his elbow, and was such a hard hit that he actually started bleeding. He had to be taken out of the game to make sure it was alright. Thankfully, it wasn’t his throwing arm, but he was in a lot of pain for a while which a nasty bruise. He still had a scar from the experience.

The trainer came out to check on Tom, but he waved him away and stood up. He took off his foot and ankle guards, then jogged down to first base. Tom was very pale, but it actually took a lot for him to bruise, so you wondered if this hit would leave a bruise. You could see in his expression he was ready to make the pitcher pay for hitting him.

The next batter smacked the first pitch he saw sailing over the third baseman’s head and into the corner of the field. The crowd cheered as Tom’s teammate ahead of him rounded third and headed for home. The third base coach looked down the line towards the ball as Tom approached 3rd, and then gave Tom the sign to continue on to home in attempt to score.

Tom cranked up his speed, pumping his legs faster than you’d ever seen. He came sprinting around third, trusting his coach. The left fielder threw the ball to the shortstop. Tom was still about a 15 feet from the plate, pushing as hard as he could to reach home, sliding face-first into home as the shortstop threw the ball to the catcher, who put his glove down to try and tag Tom out. Tom tried to avoid the glove, bending in his slide, reaching around the catcher for the plate.

“Safe!” cried the ump. Tom leapt up, dragging dirt with him as he yelled in celebration. You leapt up with him, screaming and cheering. Tom jogged back to the dugout, meeting his teammates who slapped him on the back and high-fived him and hugged him.

Tom was an incredibly emotional player. He put his heart and soul into baseball, and it showed. Every day in college, he got up early to go to the gym before his team workouts he had later in the day. He was a team captain for three years, and was always the first person to congratulate or comfort or help one of his teammates. His teammates always loved playing with him because of his attitude. Baseball was his life, and he took it seriously.

So when he found someone who was just as serious about baseball on the first day of Stats, he was over the moon.

The inning ended on two fly outs and Tom and the Braves jogged back out to the field. He was smiling still, excited that he was proving himself to be more than a rookie.

The Braves won the game, and you met an excited Tom back at the hotel instead of at the locker room. He entered your hotel room with a huge grin on his face.

“What a game!” He whooped, plopping down on the bed next to you.

“I’m proud of you,” you said, a hand going to straighten up his hair. “I was convinced after that first error you made that it was gonna be rough.”

“Me too,” he admitted.

“How’s your leg, babe?”

“It hurts like a bitch.”

“Let me go get some ice,” you said, hopping up. You’d nursed many of his bruises and injuries before. “Take your pants off and I’ll be right back.”

He smirked at you. “Mmm, yes ma’am.”

You rolled your eyes. “You know what happens when you get cocky and act like Bryce Harper,” you taunted.

He mocked hurt. “How dare you speak that name! My hair could never compare to his. He uses two hair dryers. I only use one.”

You stuck your tongue out at him, then left the room in search of ice.

When you returned with your bucket of ice, you found Tom curled up on a pillow on the bed, fast asleep. He hadn’t even taken his suit off. You smiled, changed out of your game clothes, then turned off the lights before joining him in bed.

THE ALBUM YES. so ive been looking forward to it for literally months, this is actually my first skz album release as a stay (since the last on was 9 months ago) i was sitting there hitting refresh on my spotify the second 6pm kst came around. (speaking of which, how did you do the release? i couldnt decide whether to watch or listen first but i ended up on listening cos there would be more material) okay: so cheese was super cool, very skz ya know? tho i almost wish theyd made domino the title track, tho obv it was a more experimental track and would have been a bit controversial (much like whistle for bp) i looooved domino and thunderous was absolutely impeccable. all the songs were amazing but standouts were- secrets, secrets which lowkey made me tear up idk why, red lights which almost killed me (it did not have to go that hard, but it did) and OT8 WOLFGANG omgggg i wasnt sure if hyunjin was going to be included in it but i was hoping and, ya know people had said hed be in there, but the further i got in, the less i was sure and then BAM hyunjin started what had been jisung's part and i just sat there grinning for about 5 minutes. surfin was absolutely adorable and gone away almost made me cry AGAIN. star lost was so touching, almost a nod to hyunjins little star? silent cry was relatable beyond anything. SSICK was funny? for some reason I was laughing while it was playing, idk the combination of added cheering and minhos aggressiveness and the totall seriousness they sung it. but i rlly enjoyed it. sorry i love you showcased their vocals like nothing else. the view is THE BOP of 2021, absolutely going to be stuck in my head for the next decade, that hook is genius. what did you think?

also did you watch their grow up performance? with all the stays and ALL THE TEARS? ;n; i feel like this is the end of an era of skz and tbh im kinda happy but also sad. super excited for their promotions but super bummed they wont get to tour. ah well

oh yeah, abt quarantine having an effect. my friend and i talked about this earlier actually. i didn't realize the world was moving so fast until the pandemic happened. being in quarantine gave me time to think and i got to know myself more. it's just the sole good thing i got out of the isolation lmao. and abt my strict parents, ironically i got to go out today so i got to hang out with a few of my bestfriends. i had fun but my legs are a bit sore from walking. but they're a different set of friends. i'll get to hang out with the others when my getaway driver comes home in december.

hmm music recommendations for writing? depends on the plot you're writing. care to share what story you're working on and i'll try to rake my brain for a song that might match the vibe. i listen to classical / lo-fi if i don't have song inspo for a fic because lyrics sometimes distract me.

i don't think that's infantilizing tho. for me, it has something to do with my environment and the way i was raised. maybe it's the same the other way around? like this certain age (for the ones above 18 but below 20) is thirst-able for them. idk really. it's just not for me ?n? what i do NOT condone is writing smut for minors??? like get checked : D // i agree with everything with the idols being 18+ before they debut simply because it's for the best for their well-being like. how can young idols decide that this shit is the thing they want to do for life? or at least until their contracts last. idk :// it's unfortunate that it's unlikely to happen.

WELL. i have a list so you won't have to go search for them! in class (minho), in the rain (seungmin), gladius maximus (chan) and you've read five star already. and i just realized that most, if not all, of my upcoming fics are fluffs and i'm fond of all of them :D i used to focus a lot on angst because fluff disgusted the living shit out of me. i think things changed when i wrote champagne problems and hurt myself so bad i wanted to drop angst entirely. i didn't, of course, but i allowed myself to be self-indulgent now.

yeah!! it’s cool too see how they will heal and get better (at least hopefully lol) with their current circumstances cause like they’ve all hurt other people in some way and of course forgiveness is not required at all and not everyone will be able to work together. there are fics that make the egg kind of like a common enemy for everyone on the server including c!dream which forces them to work together but I haven’t really seen one that does that concept well yet. in terms of redemption I think people tend to take it as including forgiveness which like the people hurt aren’t obligated to forgive everyone. it’s why I tend to dislike fics where c!tommy instantly forgives c!dream cause there’s more complexity to it than that which I think is fun to explore and like I think for any kind of positive change for those two characters will probably happen if they stay away from eachother.

also currently in the lore there’s just more conflict, even with c!puffy trying to help at least c!tommy we’ve got the egg (I’m an eggpire apologist what can I say) plus the las nevadas plot (I’m so excited for this) and the prison arc and it’s effects on c!dream, c!quackity and c!sam (god please cc!dream drop lore I beg TELL ME ABOUT THE COURTYARD) and the syndicate that had been pretty chill but now one of its members is locked in prison so that’s fun too (I hope I’m not forgetting any major plot point lol) This will definitely make the moving forward and healing a bit difficult

mmm yeah true age definitely makes a difference in how much flack people get but also how people handle it I’d say like for some younger people it’s 100% their first fandom and first online space so they’re pretty bad at handling themselves online. also while I dislike the “they’re a child” argument when it comes to the lore it’s interesting how much emphasis the fandom puts on the age of the characters

oohhh yes I find it sooo interesting how we determine the severity of crimes in our minds when it comes to media and real life!!!! I’ve been thinking about it for weeks in terms of fandom and real life cause I think it’s interesting and keep talking to people in my life about it completely randomly lmaooooo. like it’s intriguing (I got bored of the word interesting) how seriousness of crimes is determined in our minds and even in the law like it’s gotta do with its effect on other people I think that this would apply to the law as well. also yeah!! the whole “acceptable” crimes thing is super interesting to me cause when it comes to media murder is reduced in severity a lot and it’s cool to see the effect of that on character analysis cause like in real life murder is and should be deemed as a terrible crime. also when it comes to dsmp lore, especially cause of the minecraft mechanics applying real world rules such as criminal ones doesn’t always work. I would lowkey love to have that conversation about real world stuff adjkhsb

the povs 100% help. looking and c!techno for this I think is really interesting cause he definitely has his flaws too but the vast majority of cc!techno viewers would be considered c!techno apologists that can’t see his flaws. every other character too of course. this also why I think c!dream apologists tend to be better at character/lore analysis cause he doesn’t stream his pov. not always of course and I’ve definitely seen some c!dream apologist takes that I disagree with which just makes it all even more interesting honestly. main takeaway, cc!dream please drop lore it’s been months since that teaser

honestly with the egg stuff and being the common enemy doesn’t really do it for me? I always joke that the author is c!dream ajdjkd because I think a common enemy wont fix things for the sever, they need to stop the cycle of revenge/abuse which is going to take a longass time because everyone is hurting so much. They syndacate has gotten closest to stopping that cycle out of everyone in the server which is fucking hilarious. I agree that forgiveness isn’t required but for both c!dream and c!tommy if one of them doesn’t walk away and/or apologize they’ll both keep ruminating on it forever. The fic that started this conversation was great because one of the part where c!tommy comes in and apologizes to c!dream. The closure and freedom it gave c!tommy to just fully walk away content with the last thing he said to c!dream is way way better than a future where c!dream just straight up dies. Here’s the thing, people are a lot more forgiving of the dead so while tommy might get freedom from that, he’d never get closure from it and I think it would continue to haunt him

I also feel like with fandoms there were a lot of unspoken rules that became cringe as the older fandoms grew up if that makes any sense. Like there were/are guidelines on how to be decent in fan spaces but a lot of them were unspoken and if you speak them, the people who would need it think it’s cringe. Sometimes I get secondhand embarrassment when I see those “fandom rules” posts but then I read it and it’s all really good advice?? It’s like hey don’t send death threats don’t harass people and just chillax we’re all here for fun

The “they’re a child” thing is interesting to me because while I also use it to excuse a lot of the dream smp minors, the age range I use “they’re just a kid” for is a lot more lenient than most. I add sap, niki, jack, and quackity to it as well as anyone in the 18 through 20 age range as well. Maybe this is because I’m 19 so I’m like “oh shit im still a kid the fuck”. Another side of this that I think is really funny is that in real life that’s 100% not how it works? Like there are jails for children minors aren’t just allowed to do whatever and let me tell you c!tommy would 1000% be in juvie right now. Minors on the dream smp have way more rights then minors in real life but sadly that also comes with way more responsibility and I think we should make c!tommy pay taxes

Murder in the dsmp vs real life is also really interesting because while they have more lives, we’ve seen with foolish & puffy that even taking away a first life is traumatic and cruel despite the apathy from everybody. And who it’s against is also a hige factor if someone makes w hige company’s life harder I’ll look away in the same way that people look away from c!tommy taking two of c!dream’s canon lives. The first life seems traumatic, and the second life is bad but more so because they now have to be careful. Taking a character’s last life would be one of the worst crimes in the universe I think. Instead of taking one life like how url stuff works, you’re taking 3 lives. A murderer killing one person vs killing multiple can dictate the sentence they get for sure, but also taking lives vs killing someone is also different on the dream smp so I dunno

C!Dream apologists certainly have to reach a lot more but it’s okay because I got long arms ig

Every so often, though, he composes a tweet that sends a thrill through music fans, making the collective peanut gallery sit up at attention as he captivates our interest with teases of new music.

Fans are in a positive tailspin over his latest, cryptic post. Kanye tweeted out an image of a Mini Disc (remember those?) with no label and fans immediate drew a correlation between the nondescript, obsolete tech and the cover art of his incendiary (and controversial) 2013 opus, Yeezus. Responses ranged from enthusiastic rapture to understandable skepticism, as his most recent release, the disappointing Ye, left plenty to be desired with its rushed delivery that undercut its overly bombastic hype cycle.
