The only thing ineffable bureaucracy showed me is how hyper focused this fanbase is at seeing one thing and one thing only and everything else is a result of that one thing

1) no, Beelzebub and Gabriel are not a straight couple. Nor is Crowley and Aziraphale a gay couple. Stop the non-binary erasure or go outside and talk to an actual non-binary person cuz clearly you have no clue what non-binary is "they're straight presenting" wtf? If you think that please give me your name so I can block you. Cis people, I fucking swear.

Reminder that Beelz used they/them pronouns btw. Sorry that Beelzebub doesn't "pass" for you, it doesn't make them any less non-binary. Not to mention it was stated and already IS CANON that none of them have genders. They're god damn demons and angels, bruh.

2) "it's Gabriel's and Beelz's fault that ineffable husbands didn't get their happy ending": no. It's their own damn fault for not communicating and Aziraphale's inability to accept Crowley as he is. Gabriel and Beelzebub put each other first. Y'all sound salty as hell cuz two people managed to work their relationship out and yours didn't work out. "But if they didn't get together---" y'all really saying shit like this??? Do you hear yourself? That's so sad. Wishing for the doom of one LGBTQ+ ship cuz the other fucked themselves over. THEY CAN BOTH CO-EXIST. And you know what? They will. Cuz Ineffable husbands is clearly canon, the story just wants time with them cuz they're the main characters, not like Beelz and Gabriel who were side characters so had their story summarized.

3) "that should have been ineffable husbands" no, cuz Crowley and Aziraphale aren't Gabriel and Beelzebub. They're different characters with different backgrounds, personalities, relationship structure, and different relationship dynamic in general. They'll get together in a way that fits THEM. And that way requires ups and downs that makes them finally understand that they're perfect for each other without the need for either of them to change.

4) Gabriel was such an asshole wish Crowley got his revenge and--- bla bla BLA : Crowley was happy for them. You hold a grudge over Gabriel that Crowley himself doesn't. Y'all worse than a literal demon. Smh.

Be happy for what we got and look forward to the future where ineffable husbands will certainly become canon and it'll be worth the wait. Don't tear down the LGBTQ+ presentation we got just cuz the main ship didn't get the limelight THIS TIME.

Let things cook, that's how writing WORKS.

But I'm just an Agender demi person and tbh? I would prefer if things took their time.

I love both ships a lot but I'm not gonna hold pitchforks over one ship getting a happy end and one still developing. Come next season, that happy end for Gaberiel and Beelzebub might not last. We DONT KNOW. Do we really need to sacrifice one for the other? Why can't we be happy to have both?

Just really think the vibe of the fanbase rn fuckin SUCKS and I'm not enjoying trying to go through the ineffable bureaucracy tag and seeing people complaining about how it should have been ineffable husbands or how it's their fault.

Part 2

After a long day of school, (y/n) relaxed in their chair and powered up their PC to play their favorite game: Genshin Impact. But as they clicked on the icon of the cute mascot the icon’s color inverted. You only brushed off the glitch as a weird bug. When the window popped up it looked different then usual with the sky behind the floating pillars a scarlet red.

“Wtf… is my game glitching?” (y/n) thought to themself as they tried click the x in the corner of their window to close the screen. Key word ‘tried’. The window refused to close while the game started to build the door into teyvat. (Y/n) watched the screen as a blinding white light surrounded their vision until there was nothing.

When you landed in Teyvat you none questioned you appearing as a teenager because it’s quite rude to ask someone their age. They will treat you as if you are an adult. But the truth will eventually come out but it wasn’t how you expected.

“Your grace, are you sure you can sign contracts?” Nahida asked as you while you were meeting with the Acting Grand Sage, Alhaitham and the Dendro Archon, Lesser lord Kussinal.

Shit. Nahida knew that you were 14. She looked in Irmensal the moment you arrived. “Yes I should be.” You said looking at her with eyes that said PLEASE DON’T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT MY AGE PLEASE PLEASE.

But apparently she didn’t get the message “Well I only ask this because of your age.”

Alhaithem’s eyes shifted towards you and raised an eyebrow. “If you don’t mind me asking your Grace but how old are you exatctly?”

“Ah! Your Grace!” Venti said as he got up from his spot sitting on the statue’s hands. He used his anemo abilities to float himself without hurting himself. “Or should I say my young Grace?” He said smirking

“I take that back, it sounded cooler in my head.” Venti said as he slung his arm over your shoulder as you chuckled. “But, back on topic! YOUR 14?” Shouting the least part a little too loud catching the attention of a few bystanders.

“VENTI SHUT THE FUCK UP!” You whisper yelled at him as he chuckled. “And yes I am 14.”

“Why didn’t you tell us?” the bard asked with sincerity in his tone.

“Understandable, we all thought you were older than at least 30 from the way you act, but what about your family?”

“What do you mean? They’re probably back at my home living their life.”

“Not on your planet but here on teyvat, from what I can tell you have no single person to have as a parental fig-” You shove a hand in Venti’s face before he finish, knowing what he was going to say.

“No, absolutely not, I don’t need a ‘parental figure’ in my life telling me what to do.” You said putting air quotes up for parental figure. “And like you said I act older than I am.”

“That doesn't mean your still not a kid.”

“Doesn’t matter, point is that I don't need someone looking after me.”

Once (Y/n)’s finished their business in Mondstat she left for Liyue since the Lanturen Rite festival was about to take place. Little did they know that they would be met with the Liyue Qucixe.

“Let’s have dinner together.”

Rei was still wrapped around Rin, not wanting to let her dad go. The thought of Rei bonding with Rin as her dad makes my heart feel warm.

“Is it ok for people to see us together?”

We were walking toward the exit where the car was waiting for us, Daisuke told us that there were paparazzi outside, more than usual he added. Rin was about to answer my question but Daisuke beat him to it.

“I think it’s best if you hide your identity for now. I suggest you wear your mask and shades, And for Rei, I think we have a hat here. Rei-chan, just keep your face hidden ok? There are gonna be a lot of cameras outside and your eyes might hurt if you look at them.”

“Have her wear my shades” Rin said as he hugged Rei closer to his body as she buried her face to his neck more. Rei was being clingier than usual, I chuckled at the thought. I put on my mask and shades while Daisuke took out Rin’s shades.

“What about you though?” As Daisuke handed Rei the shades.

“I’m used to it”

I snorted at what he said, he stopped walking for a second but I continued walking. I was chuckling now. It’s just so cute to think that Rin is so famous now.

“Something funny?” Then I felt him pinch my waist. I winced as I rubbed my waist.

“Nothing. I just can’t get my head wrapped around the fact that a lot of people know you”

He just hummed as he kept his arm draped over my waist as he carried Rei with his other arm.

I adjusted the scarf around my head, making sure that it won’t fall off. “That looks good on you” To say that I was stunned at the sudden compliment would be an understatement. Good thing my mask was covering my face or else he would’ve seen my red face. That same ass effect again.

We reached the door where the paparazzi were waiting for Rin. He said that I should go ahead of him so that he can keep an eye on me. Daisuke was in front of me, he told the guards to open the double doors, and I heard Rin tell Rei to keep her head down. As the guards fully opened the doors for us and revealed people with cameras, I even saw an interviewer. I was thankful that I was wearing shades. All the cameras started flashing, we walked through them.

Let me rephrase that, we struggled through them, the guards trying their best to keep the people out of our way, and more guards from the stadium came in to help. I couldn’t help but listen to the questions the interviewers were asking Rin.

“Are they you’re family?”

“Why did you keep your wife and child in secret”

“How long have you two been together”

“Are you from Japan?”

“Are you Itoshi Rin’s wife?”

“How long have you two been married?”

I shook my head at their questions, Daisuke opened the door of the car for me. I went inside and Rin followed behind me.

“You good?”

“Yeah, I’m fine”

“Can I take this off now?” Rei said I told her that she could so Rin helped her take the hat off her along with the shades. I gave it back to Daisuke who sat in the front seat.

“To Milos please” The chauffeur nodded and drove off. We were in a black van, the one that famous people would ride on, and there were two guards seated behind us. I put my bag down and pulled out my phone. There were over 20+ messages on my phone from Osamu, a few from atsumu, my mom, my dad, my cousins, my friends from work, and the list just goes on. I clocked on to Osamu's message.

“Dude, WTF” “I didn’t know that you were gonna sit in the front row, oh shit did Rin see you??” “HOLY SHIT JUST SaW A PIC OF RIN TALKING TO YOU WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING” “BRO GOOD THING THEY WON BUT WTF YOU'RE ON THE NEWS, AND REI IS TOO” “DUDE I JUST SAW A PIC FROM TWITTER, WITH REI HUGGING RIN BY THE WAIST DUDE, DID YOU TELL HER ALREADY?????!!?!?!??! ANSWER MY CALLS “ “WOW HI MS. FAMOUS, LOOK AT YOU, BEING THE “WIFE” OF A FOOTBALL STAR.” “JUST READ AN ARTICLE SAYING THAT RIN HIS HIS FAMILY FROM THE FAMILY AHHAHAAHAHHAHAH, I CAN’T”

I narrowed my eyes at the last few messages, but he did send pictures of us in the bleachers with Rei hugging Rin, then the next one was by the paparazzi just now.

“I’ll call you tomorrow, we’re with Rin. We’re just gonna get dinner together” “DON’T LEAVE ME WITH THAT WTF, TELL ME MORE” “Tomorrow” “NO, Y/N DON’T”

I turned off my phone, deciding to answer their messages later.

“Rei are you tired?”

I looked at Rei who was fighting to keep her eyes open, “Yeah, but I want to have dinner together with Rin-san”

“If you’re tired rei you should go to sleep, you shouldn’t force yourself to stay up,” I told her I can tell that she wanted nothing more than to have dinner together with Rin, but it was so late already. 10 pm to be exact.

“But I want to have dinner with you two, together” She pouted while her chin was propped at his shoulder, and she made eye contact with me.

I was about to answer her but Rin beat me to it. “How about we have breakfast together tomorrow? So that you can sleep now, I know you’re tired Rei, I saw jumping in the stands earlier”

It was a sweet gesture, and Rei agreed and dozed off on his dad’s shoulder. I told the chauffeur about our hotel and then Rin offered to carry Rei to our hotel room. I agreed since I was tired too, and I wouldn’t be able to carry Rei on my own.

We arrived at the hotel, but since our arrival was unexpected there weren’t any reporters or cameras. And since it was so late already, the only people in the lobby were the staff. Daisuke and the guards didn’t follow us into the hotel and just stayed in the car. We got in the elevator in silence, but not the awkward kind. Our friendship/relationship was the one that embraced silence.

While Rin carried Rei, following me through the hall of rooms, I stopped in front of our door and swiped the key card in, I opened the door and let Rin enter first. I opened the lights and had him lay Rei down on one of the beds. I took off my shoes, and kind of winced since my foot was in a slightly uncomfortable position. I took off everything that I had in my head; my shades, mask, and scarf in my head. I put them all at the little dining table, that turned into a vanity table earlier this afternoon. Then I went to my bed and just let myself crash, not minding Rin who was watching me. I curled into the softness of the bed.

I felt the bed dip beside me, I turned and saw Rin laying beside me, he was facing the ceiling while I just admired his side profile.

“I looked for you everywhere you know? I first went to your house, but then I found out that you guys moved again, and I couldn’t contact you, I tried to look for you online but nothing helped. I gave after, I think 2 years. But I always look out for you in crowds you know, hoping that someday you’ll be watching my matches. And now it came true”

“I’m glad you think that way, I honestly thought that you would resent me or something.”

“Why?”

“Well just pointing out the obvious, for hiding Rei. Don’t you hate me for it?”

“I don’t hate you for doing what you thought was best. As much as I would’ve wished things would be different, I don’t think I’ll have what I have now if you did tell me. I’ll most likely be a part of a Japanese football club rather than PXG because I would have chosen you first rather than going away for soccer. But I’ll be happier because I’m with you two”

“Really? Do you mean that, or are you just saying that?”

“I mean it” He lay down on his side and was now facing me, he was practically hovering over me at this point. I turned to my side and went close to his chest, he put his arm under my head so I could lay down with his arms around me.

“I want to be a part of Rei’s life from now on, I want to get to know her”

“Ok”

After a few minutes of us laying there, I remembered that Rei was still in her sweaty clothes. So I tried my best to get out of Rin’s arms but he wouldn’t let me.

“Where are you going? I just got you back and you’re already leaving”

My heart pounded at what he said, and my face grew hot, shaking the feeling off. “I need to change Rei’s clothes along with mine. She’ll get sick if I don’t change her clothes”

He thought about it for a few seconds but retreated his arms. I stood up from the bed and went to her suitcase and got her pajamas. Rin was in the bathroom while I changed her clothes, After that I brushed her hair and laid her down in a comfortable position before gathering my stuff and going to the bathroom. Rin opened the door and let me in, I placed my stuff down at the counter as I brushed through my hair. Then I removed my makeup with wipes, Rin was behind me watching me through the mirror, It felt as if 10 years hadn’t passed, it felt like our last meet-up was yesterday. Because I didn’t feel any distance between us, our relationship didn’t change. And I wouldn't have asked for more.

I washed my face in the sink, slightly bending over. After watching my face with water, I straightened up and patted my face dry. As I put the towel down, I felt arms his arms wrap around my waist. His face was resting on my neck, I felt him peck my neck, then he peaked over and made eye contact with me as he kissed my neck. Moving down to my shoulder, and back to my neck.

“I missed you, couldn’t sleep for weeks because I didn’t where you were. I was so worried”

“Sorry for making you worry”

He hummed and continued his thing.

“I’m sorry that I wasn’t there when Rei came. I’m sorry that you had to take care of her on your own” I turned to face him and wrapped my arms around his neck

“It’s ok, it wasn’t your fault that you didn’t know”

He didn’t say anything but instead started kissing my jaw, moving toward my face. Until his lips were in front of mine, then we were 16 again, in his room, sharing a bottle of vodka, I remember the music playing in the background, I remember the warm feeling of his body against mine. His lips met mine as my hands automatically went to his hair.

Suddenly remembering where we were, I stopped Rin before I couldn’t. He tried to kiss me again but I stopped him.

“We can’t Rin…”

‘Why?” he looked at me, expecting the worst. His eyes not wavering from mine.

“Rei is just outside, and I have to take a shower. And Rei is just outside Rin, we can’t…”

Rin just sighed and pushed his hair back. “I’ll order us some dinner, I’ll call my manager and say that I’m sleeping here”

“Are you sure?”

“Yes, so now go, take a shower”

He left the bathroom without another word.

After my shower, and changing into my pajamas, I dried my hair and did my skincare. I got out of the bathroom and saw Rin, putting out the food he ordered, It smelled delicious. I am on the point of starvation right now, I’ve been wanting to eat something ever since the first half.

I sat down on the chair, while Rin sat down in front of me. We silently eat, I was too busy eating to talk, so Rin did the talking.

“Give me your phone number,” he said as slides his phone in front of me.

“I already have your number, Your manager gave me a card earlier”

“Just making sure, I’m not losing you again”

My heart softened at his statement, so I typed in my number. Suddenly remembering the text unread messages on my phone, I went to my bag and took a look at all of the notifications, I had put my phone on do not disturb earlier so that it wouldn’t ring as much.

5 new messages from Dad <;3

And the list just went on, and I haven’t even seen the number of calls that I got, some were from numbers I don’t even know.

But I did answer my mom's message, she asked whether I told Rin about Rei or not, And I said I did and that he was happy to have Rei as his daughter.

I had told her the truth about who Rei’s father was because Osamu got drunk and he accidentally mentioned Rin being Rei’s dad. At first, they didn't believe it, but I showed them a picture of me and Rin from that night. We had met up in the park that day.

it was a selfie I took of us, Rin and I were at the park, we were on the swing set.

Dad did say that he will find Rin and beat him up for getting me pregnant, and Mom got sad because I hid it from them, She negotiated with me that I should go to Rin and tell him about Rei. But I stopped them, I told them my reason why I didn’t tell him. It took them some time to get on the same page as me, but it worked out in the end.

“...what does Rei like to do?”

Rin looked so shy to ask, I don’t blame him.

“You can ask her tomorrow, I’m sure that she won’t leave out any details. She is a very energetic kid you know, gets excited by the smallest things”

I smiled down at my food as I continued eating.

“I can tell, by her expression that she’s ecstatic because she has a dad now, and she’s even happier to have you as her dad”

“I’m glad that she feels that way”

We finished eating, and while I cleaned up the take-out containers, Rin went to the bathroom to brush his teeth, and I followed behind him after cleaning up. He scooted to the side to make room for me in front of the sink.

After brushing our teeth, Ri made his way to the bed, We lay down beside each other. A nostalgic feeling flowed through me. The feeling seemed so obvious, so right.

Sleep soon took over me, and I felt Rin wrap his arms around me as I slept. Not before hearing him mutter the words I’ve been longing to hear.

“I promise that I’ll protect you two from now on And that I’ll never leave you again. Never again”

but waking up to dozens of anons and unknown blogs coming at me with this attitude of like, ‘fix your story right now or else’ because they read a clearly labeled angst post and got upset about it is not cool. it’s not motivating, it’s not appreciated, it’s very unlikely to yield the results you want.

and don’t get me wrong, i’ve glad that the story resonated with you. i want to make people feel things intensely with my writing; that’s the whole fun of it for me. but there’s a big difference between ‘omg ouch, i really hope they get back together if you decide to continue this story’ and ‘WTF IS YOUR PROBLEM FIX THIS SHIT RIGHT NOW!!!’

one feels appreciative and the other feels very ‘dance, monkey, dance.’ especially if we’re strangers and you don’t use any tone tags, it’s really hard to tell what’s a joke and what’s actual hostility.

please just be mindful of the way you’re engaging with writers on here ❤️

i was rewatching the dream team all stars MCC and was thinking about streamer!reader cause im actually sick in the head :) so now everyone else has to deal with it 😌 so, as much as i love bad, reader does happen to be an honourary Dream Team member according to bf!sapnap.....

i like to think during this time (Nov. 2021) reader and sapnap are well into their talking stage and like, reallyyyy close to dating (they prolly start dating two weeks after this stream of sum). so this is technically crush!sapnap [so cutee]

NPD culture is thinking a post you made is amazing and super cool and that it’ll blow up and get so much interaction— only for it to get like, next to no interaction. And you fucking crash because WTF I put so much effort into that?!? And the posts that do get more attention are ones you put less effort into and/or assumed wouldn’t be as popular. Like wtf!!! This is a personal insult!! I put in effort, no one likes it. I put in no effort, no one likes it either! What is the magical fucking recipe for people to interact with me?! I use the tags, I interact with other creators— yet NOTHING!!! I put ten times as much effort in as those other creators do, and yet they get so much more interaction than I do!!! Is the algorithm rigged? Is it because they have more followers and I’m getting overshadowed? Am I not using the right tags? Is it because they’re popular for the wrong reasons but I’m too good to stoop to their level and should obviously be the more popular one? I swear it happens every single fucking time, and it’s starting to really piss me off! I want to go rabid and maul those people I swear.

And while I’m still here— what’s with my followers never interacting?!?!?! The people who follow me NEVER like my posts. And that’s not an exaggeration! It’s been MONTHS people!!! You’re following me for a reason, right???! And then the people who DON’T follow me are consistently liking my posts a lot more. Like if you like what I make so much why not follow me?!?! hey blog: april 18, 2024🩷

hey guys! sorry i’ve been mia but i’ve been super busy with work recently. i promised an update on the hangout with my crush so, here it goes.

first off, there were SO MANY RED FLAGS! when i first drove over to his house, he was standing outside. well i had to use the bathroom really bad and so i had asked him if i could use his (note: he lives with like three other dudes that i’ve never met) and he said yes then proceeds to point at his house (it’s a trailer) and tells me where it is..while still walking over towards my car..i had to ask him to show me where the bathroom is cause i’ve NEVER BEEN AT HIS HOUSE BEFORE AND NEVER MET HIS ROOMMATES BEFORE EITHER. like, i understand that him and i both live in trailers, but each trailer is built different.

so he walks me into his house. it’s dark. i can’t see shit. i also WALK INTO HIS BATHROOM AND THERES SOME RANDOM GUY ALREADY IN THERE AND MY CRUSH STARTS LAUGHING AT ME. so i slam the door shut and i’m like “hey there was someone in there.” then my crush says “you can use my other roommates bathroom.” i ask him where his room is cause again, i’ve never met this person in my life, and my crush just points to where his room is.

so i’m walking over trash, beer bottles, in between recliners, there’s dirty dishes in the sink (a bachelor pad as people call it) and walk to his other roommates room on the opposite side of the trailer. i knock on his door and he doesn’t answer. so i turn around to my crush and i’m like “hey i don’t think he’s in there.” my crush (who’s just standing in the living room), walks past me and knocks on his roommates door. his roommate answers and he lets me use his bathroom. i then have to awkwardly walk through his bedroom towards his bathroom. and get this folks: HIS BATHROOM DOESN’T HAVE A DOOR. so i’m like “hey, your bathroom doesn’t have a door on it.” and his roommates says “it’s okay i’ll be out in a minute” then leaves his bedroom and closes the door.

so i awkwardly use the bathroom, feeling very VERY uncomfortable at this point and i book it towards the door through the house so we can leave. we decide to go to Walmart, and walk around. my crush doesn’t really say anything. at all. so i’m just trying to engage him in conversation and he doesn’t speak at all. i just kinda keep talking. he didn’t really seem interested to hanging out with me, even though i would ask him if he was having fun, and he would say yes but then asked me how does someone have fun in a Walmart? so i answer him “like this” and i playfully his his arm and tell him he’s it while running down a random isle (trying to play tag cause i’m a literal child lol). he doesn’t really say anything, or try to play tag with me. so then i decided to play Marco-Polo with him and he didn’t really play that either…we even went to the video game section (he’s a gamer) and he still didn’t say much to me..

like while we were walking around, he would walk behind me, but beside me which makes me think he was just trying to look at my ass the entire time. anyways, we leave Walmart and drive around for a bit listening to music, and he still just seems uninterested. i take him back home around 7pm since we both had work the next day and we needed to make sure we slept lol, and he was getting out of my car and he was like “okay, see you later”, i then asked him if he had a fun time and all he said was “a little”. A LITTLE???? WTF DOES THAT MEAN???

i tried my hardest making sure he was having a fun time with me and stuff, even ask him if he wanted to play music off my phone but all he kept saying was “i’m fine” or “this is fine” or “i’m here along for the ride” that’s all i got..he never really said anything else. is there something wrong with me?? like, he had asked ME if i wanted to hangout that day..he asked ME. and told me that we could do whatever i wanted. and all he could say was he had “a little” fun??? idk, but it made me think he was wanting something else from me. i don’t think i’m gonna hangout with him again. i’ve just never had this happen before. like ever. i’m gonna take that whole day as a red flag.🚩

@dittolicous I'm slapping these tags into a new post bcs it made me realize I might be weird and wanted to know of anyone else is weird in the same way.

Because like my fear of heights only seems to manifest on man-made structures? Before my disabilities got bad enough that I couldn't hike I used to climb up on top of really tall stuff all the time, like I would hang out on the Devil's Bridge in Sedona and not feel even a little bit scared, but like climbing up say the stairs to go down a water slide is enough to make me shake and have to not look down/get too close to the railing at the edge. The idea of going to the top of a skyscraper—and I mean like just the top floor inside, not like an observation deck or anything—makes my hands sweat(did you know they SWAY in the wind?????) but I've hung out right at the very edge of the Grand Canyon several times and I've never felt more at peace.

The only man-made structures that don't bother me are roller coasters(kinda), airplanes, and weirdly some playground equipment? Roller coasters are only fine if we stay moving tho, if the thing broke when we were really high up and we had to get rescued I would be a complete mess, but like, as long as we stay moving I love them. Carnival rides are a mixed bag, I enjoy going on ferris wheels but they do scare the shit out of me, and I just won't get on most other rides that go super high up in the air. Airplanes are okay because I understand the science behind it?? It makes sense(and when you take off you can feel the air catch the plane) so I just don't get scared, though if I was in like a skydiving plane that's open I would probably freak out. The logic behind playground equipment is a mystery to me, maybe bcs it's literally made for climbing?? No clue.

And like, I watch a lot of videos of people climbing cellphone towers and skyscrapers specifically bcs they scare me SO much that it works to get rid of my anxiety if I'm freaking out about something. All of my problems seem so small because at least I'm not on top of one of those fucking things. But I do actually really like watching The Walk, idk it makes me scared so bad but I love it.

The only natural structure that scares me is trees. Idk what it is about trees, especially bcs I do like climbing them, but I usually struggle to get down without help.

This also made me remember I used to have vhs tapes with episodes of the Madeline cartoon and in one episode she and her friend get stuck at the top of the Eiffel Tower and despite the fact that I have actually BEEN TO PARIS and WENT UP TO THE TOP OF THAT VERY STRUCTURE and it didn't bother me so much, that episode made me so scared I couldn't watch it. Like wtf is that about??

I've also always wanted to be able to fly or be a witch like in Kiki's Delivery Service. Idk how my brain would react to that tho since it's impossible, but I assume it would land in the "it makes sense so it doesn't bother me" category.

So yeah idk man-made structures are bad and scary because I guess I just don't trust humans to make sturdy things that won't fall down(aside from airplanes and playground equipment bcs those make sense)?? But mountains and cliffs and stuff have been there for like millions of years so I trust that they will stay under my feet and thus I don't get scared by them at all.

And like I know it's weird that I'm like this because my fiancé is ALSO scared of heights(which I find hilarious because he's 6'3" and when he picks me up so my head is level with his it makes me scared because "the ground is too far away") but he doesn't like going up on top of anything. Airplanes, rollercoasters that go upside down, tall buildings, mountains and other rock structures, it ALL triggers his phobia. He won't even let me open the window shade when we fly together, it's that bad. Idk why I'm not like that.

Honestly, considering the show/writers never acknowledged Daphne’s marital rape of her husband, and they only had a slight acknowledgment of Edwina’s feelings on Kate x Anthony, like I don’t think there will be a satisfactory resolution to Pen’s betrayal of the Bridgertons (Marina/Colin and Eloise/Theo) or of Eloise’s “friendship” with Cressida (and anything else she might do as “revenge”).

I think they’ll blow over the latter “I said I’d rather die than be her friend and I still mean it” and hugs all around or some other scene like that (which I know is simple and that’s my point). And Pen will apologize and confess that cause she’s so in love with Colin and she wanted to be noticed and she’ll be forgiven without much else from Colin. And maybe a little more for Eloise, if that.

(Spoiler’s for the books in case people care about that).

They forgive her for Whistledown in the books, Colin is worried more about her being revealed as Whistledown than her writing shit about him (tho nothing she writes is like Marina/Colin is not in the books. Daphne basically forgives her for anything she wrote about that but tbh she doesn’t seem to mind anyway). And, they like sorta acknowledge it as “wtf” thing, but it’s blown over quickly imo. “Oh well that’s nice dear” sorta reaction. And Eloise does have even more of a backbone than in the books but idk I just don’t see why and what people seem to want out of Bridgerton.

Eloise is going to somehow befriend and fall in love with Crane! You’re telling me the girl running around with Theo and “radicals” will suddenly fall for the guy boring the fuck out of Marina?

Like, I’m sorry but Bridgerton is pretty people hooking up with a regency background. They will not “do right” by most people’s standards of how the characters should act and how to apologize (Daphne and Simon make up after professing deep love in the rain! Anthony is shocked into confessing for real cause Kate fell of a horse! It’s for DRAMA, and then it’s resolved kinda easily?)

I’ve seen some more of nuanced takes against Pen, at least these people aren’t reducing her to a fat villain (cause when they did that I could not take them seriously 😒). And honestly a lot of it is fair, that’s good! The writers don’t care.

But now I keep seeing people hating Eloise to the point that they want a comeuppance that is not proportional to her “revenge”…and like… it won’t be as serious as y’all are making it to be. This “revenge”. Like please, the writers aren’t going to suddenly take this world seriously. See above and those are just 1 example for each season!

If they wanted to acknowledge all the hurt Pen put people through and make her work to become a better person, they could! I just don’t think they will because it’s 8 episodes per season and in this season they’re trying to find a way to get Colin and Pen together and Eloise and Pen as friends again by end of season. I don’t think they’ll extend a conflict into Ben’s season (I actually hope they don’t, I like Ben and Sophie’s story for the most part and while I love Anthony and Kate they shouldn’t be the focus either).

Idk what people expect I guess. if you’re watching it for Pen to be taken down a notch… might not be the season for you. If you’re hate watching I guess tag it with “anti” whatever and not the regular tags?

I’m sorry if you think she does not deserve an happy ending, I don’t necessarily disagree that she’s undeserving of some crow eating for what she’s done. However, I don’t think the writers care to make her go through that. And I don’t watch Bridgerton for brilliant character development that I think some of y’all want.

That being said I’m curious about how they’ll manage LW post Colin x Penelope marriage. In the books it basically disappears, and maybe they can use that to have a build up to Pen! However that means to me making their relationship last longer than as season and I do not want that for any of the couples.
