I don’t think it’s petty! Like you said, everyone is free to have their own opinions and to follow/unfollow people as they please (unless they remove you as a follower first) :)

I will say that it kind of sounds like we’re on the same side, though? Aaron could have tried to figure out the work/life balance, and Haley could try to see his side of things/assist with finding that balance. Neither of them called it sooner, because they didn’t stop loving each other at any point and they just kept trying to make it work. No one is saying that either of them are 100% innocent or 100% guilty.

The problem is in people loudly hating Haley; not hating her as a person. Rather, hating her as someone who wasn’t content to play ignored housewife for the rest of her life while constantly worrying about her husband getting killed at work or something, and someone who spoke up about being unhappy with the situation

Everyone’s got their opinions. Mine is that Haley has the right to want a present partner/husband/father of her child, especially after having him be present for literal decades before that, and I’m simply against the opinion that she’s some godawful bitch for asking for that

This isn’t gonna be cohesive cuz my brain doesn’t work like that anymore and also it’s 1am and I’m typing this on a shitty ipad so. Literally don’t expect anything from me.

In regards to TBOSAS: it is disappointing to see so many people seemingly missing the point or, worse, outright ignoring it to babygirl-ify Snow. I know this is the villain / morally gray / monstrosity appreciation website and I’ll partake of that myself every so often. I also think the movie dulled down some of his actions and made it murkier/harder to tell just how manipulative/conniving/self-serving he was being the entire time. But this is a character who knowingly makes choices that, over time, lead to the deaths of nearly 1500 children + the people in the Districts who suffer and die under his oppression. We all know this going into it.

The story is not meant to be a redemption for Snow, nor is it blaming Lucy Gray for how he turns out. The book at least is very explicit that every choice he made was made willingly in a pursuit of power. It is his own warped view of the world and his inability to trust that turns to paranoia and then turns him against Lucy Gray. It is that pursuit of power that leads to him betraying Sejanus, and it can be argued that his inability to trust ALSO plays a part in that.

The romanticizing of his behaviors regarding Lucy Gray are also kinda sickening. He’s not sexy for saying it’d be best for Lucy Gray to be held in a cage in the Capitol so he can keep an eye on her. That wasn’t meant to be romantic. Him constantly referring to her as “My [Lucy]/Mine” is not romantic. Him lying awake at night thinking about her is, again, not romantic. Collins is demonstrating his obsessive tendencies that she outright tells you about in the first goddamn chapter of the book. They’re not #goals, he tries (and perhaps succeeds, depending on your interpretation of it, although if you think they’re #goals, I don’t trust your interpretation of anything) to kill her. Again, I realize this is the toxic relationship website. But I just really don’t think you can respect Lucy Gray’s character OR the story that is being told if all you can take away from it is “Young Snow Hot 🥵”

There’s so much more I could say about the ignoring Sejanus’ entire character arc to make jokes abt Snow being soooo gay for him (during a scene in which he has ALREADY sealed Sejanus’ fate, willingly and knowingly), amongst other things, but I’m tired and I’ve already written more than I intended to. It’s just exhausting to see a story with such potential for discussion and character examination be boiled down to “white boy hot, Lucy Gray is just my vehicle for romantic and sexual fantasy with hot white boy, Sejanus is also that but for gay boy instead. What do you mean there are other characters in this story.” Ohhhh it makes me sick. Whatever tho.

A lot of people falsely accuse Sylvie of being abusive and narcissistic in ep 6 and lashing out at Loki since he doesn't agree with her. But it is a big lie coz Sylvie isn't fighting Loki because he didn't agree with her. Instead she is trying to get him out of the way so that she can kill the man who took her life away from her.

And while it can be said that Loki is trying to do what he feels right, that doesn't change the fact that he is getting in the way of her lifelong mission. The end fight of ep 6 is literally the dialogue, "You are in my way, you are my way."

The fight scene isn't an abusive Sylvie physically lashing out at Loki because he doesn't listen to her, but two people going at loggerheads because they are on opposite side of the war. Most of her attacks are coming from frustration because Loki is stopping her. And people are quick to notice that Loki isn't trying to hurt her, but ignore the fact that Sylvie keeps pushing Loki out of the way and making her way towards He Who Remains. And each time he runs back in the middle again.

Let me prove it (gosh I wish I knew how to make gifs. And ignore the shitty pic quality)

This is the first time Loki stops Sylvie. She gets up to attack He Who Remains and he pulls her back by her elbow. In anger, she places her blade on his chest. She asks him to finish what they started and pushes past him to go to HWR again.

Again, Loki uses telekinesis and pulls her back. In retaliation, she swings her sword at him. Loki dodges her and again tries to talk to her. This time she listens. But she doesn't believe anything HWR said. This is where the split between them becomes prominent. Because they both don't see eye to eye. Sylvie thinks HWR is lying, Loki doesn't.

Somewhere this point, Loki mentions the dictator and what fills the void in his absence and Sylvie's cynicism kicks in. She thinks he conned her. Even after that, she doesn't quickly shut him down. She even asks him why they aren't seeing things the same way. But by this time, they are at a standoff. There is a divide between them.

Loki tries to share his feelings but Sylvie's trust is broken. She can't understand him and has already recessed into her shell. She does attack Loki first but if we look carefully, Loki is standing between her and HWR.

Despite being the one to attack tho, what does Sylvie do?

She pushes him into the shelf and goes to attack HWR. She isn't trying to hit him or lash out after that. Once he pushes him out of the way, she turns her attention to HWR.

In response, Loki launches a chair on her. She falls down but instead of going back to Loki and fighting him, she still makes her way to HWR instead.

Again Loki runs up to her and puts himself between her and HWR, stopping her.

She attacks him in anger, and even asks him to kill her and take his throne. When Loki refuses, she again pushes him away.

In the last act of the fight, she again pushes Loki away and makes her way to HWR which leads to

Again Loki's throat was at the tip of her throat. If she wanted she could have hurt him, yet she doesn't.

So how many times did Loki come in between her? 6 times

How many times did Sylvie push him away because he kept getting in the way? 6 times.

Now tell me how Sylvie was abusive because this fight could have stopped if either Loki didn't get in the way or Sylvie didn't let her rage control her. And at that time, neither of these options were viable. Because Loki was scared of the consequences and didn't want Sylvie to kill HWR.

And Sylvie was blinded by her rage. Like b15 said revenge drived her and she needed to kill HWR. At that point of time, nothing Loki could have said would have made any difference because in front of Sylvie stood the man who stole her from her timeline, erased her reality and forced her to live in apocalypses. On top of that, she learnt that even her getting to the citadel was planned by him. She was literally falling into a downward spiral, getting consumed by her rage.

Contrast that to Loki in the end of Thor who goaded Thor into a fight, hit him first and even threatened Thor with Jane. Yet no one accuses Loki of being abusive. In fact, people are understanding of Loki trying to lure his brother in a fight because he was having a mental breakdown. But not even half the understanding is given to Sylvie who was facing the man who made her life a nightmare.

beiguang (beidou and ningguang) - you cannot tell me these two aren't married. beidou is a smug ass but loyal when ning needs her, and ning will turn a blind eye to beidou's pirate shenanigans as long as liyue harbor stays intact. it starts off as more of a mutual political agreement that quickly turns into another type of agreement. it goes on for years before either of them finally admits their feelings, but from then on, it's an unspoken rule that the tianquan and the captain of the crux are together

eimiko (ei and miko) - these two have 500 years of history together and the way ei left miko before going into the plane of euthymia 100% sounds like an angsty break-up lmao. but miko is also the only person she trusted with her gnosis as well as trusting her judgement entirely. miko might be a cunning kitsune that is usually just caring about her own interests when it comes to work at yae publishing but it's clear as day that she infinitely cares about ei and waited all those years to see her again

ayamiya (ayaka and yoimiya) - noble woman and the commoner, introvert and extrovert... girlies got the tropes. i've always loved how yoimiya has never treated ayaka any different than she would other people, but rather always tried to get ayaka to break from the rigidness of her upbringing and let her experience the beauty of the world outside the kamisato estate. and we see how yoimiya is one of the few people ayaka feels comfortable with

i really love naruto (even tho i dont post abt it much lol) and while the writing is bad in some places i generally think a great manga with some really great writing in certain arcs. but god. sometimes i just randomly think of nejis death and get irrationally angry about it. bc usually when i personally disagree with a writing choice i can at least understand narratively why the choice was made but for nejis death its just bad on every single level. like objectively its one of the worst writing choices in the history of writing. rant incoming

nejis arc is one in which he is literally enslaved to the head family and feels despair over the fact that his "destiny" is to die for the head family just like his father did. naruto then teaches neji that nothing is predetermined and that he can choose his own destiny and that head families and branch families don't matter and naruto vows to help neji end the slavery in the hyuga clan. all of this is coupled with the context of nejis father dying in the place of hinata's father to protect hinata, with neji feeling bitter about it towards both hinata and her father. so the most obvious conclusion to this arc is to either 1. show neji rising up and overcoming his status as a branch member and toppling the unfair power system with his clan or 2. hinata's dad sacrificing himself for neji which would parallel and sort of "pay back" neji's dad for dying in his place by protecting his son, just like nejis dad died to protect hinata. it would also show a head family member sacrificing himself for a branch member, therefore following through on the theme of the arc that "destiny" doesn't matter and that head families and branch families don't matter, and that neji has made progress in dismantling the unfair power system considering a head family member was willing to die for him rather than vice vera. instead, neji dies in hinatas place. the person he is enslaved to. the very destiny that neji loathed so much when we first met him happens to him, effectively disproving the entire thesis of his arc - that he can defy his destiny as a branch member and does not have to die for a member of the head family and for hinata specifally. to make matters worse, the slavery of the hyuga clan is never brought up again. naruto never follows up on his promise to end the unfair claim system, and the hyuga clan never gets challenged on its ideas like we were promised. hinata's dad even becomes a "haha funny grandpa" character, completely ignoring the fact the he owned and tortured members of the branch family, including neji himself as a child. a lot of people argue that nejis arc was fulfilled actually since he "chose" to die for hinata out of fondness for her rather than obligation as a branch family member (and contrasting with the chunin exams fight where he tried to kill her) but that really does not sit right with me. its still him going down a predestined past - just one he accepts instead of resents. any version of events where neji dies for a head family member is unsatisfying because of this - it just proves the ji we get during the chunin exams right that his destiny is to die for the head family and disproves the thesis of that arc that defying and changing destiny is possible. i also personally take issue with a plotline in which someone being oppressed dies for the oppressor, no matter how much hinata and neji care for each other. that power dynamic is always there and it leaves a very bad taste in my mouth especially since that power dynamic never gets resolved to out knowledge. but again even taking away my personal feelings, it just narratively makes no sense and retroactively makes one of the best arcs in part 1 feel meaningless. okay im running out of steam but god that writing choice pisses me off endlessly. so so so bad no matter how you look at it. anyway i said this like 3 years ago and i still stand by it:

Okay, I’m kinda tired of the whole “too nice” and weak MC that let’s shit fly whenever they’re in danger. How about head cannons/scenario of the brothers + Datables reacting to a Badass Doom Slayer MC who’s not with the fuckery? They’re quiet and it’s intimidating as hell, can easily kill any demon with their bare hands and well hidden weapons (knives, sharpened brass knuckles, demon slaying artifacts), and they have a scary rbf that makes it hard to really tell what they’re thinking, plus they’re annoyed with suddenly being dropped into hell surrounded by monsters that often remind them that they could be eaten at any time.

Now of course, they won’t do anything unless provoked (and they have a soft spot for Luke as they always smile or give him head pats) but they won’t hesitate to cuss a bitch out should someone try to be condescending to them or insult them. And while MC is human, they’re on that “too angry to die” kinda beat that practically makes killing them impossible. Ex:

Since it was weekend, and you were spending time on your own, you decided to start drinking a bit earlier. Turning on a movie, you started sipping on your wine, exchanging some texts with your best friend every now and then.

Your first glass was done way too fast, and you were already sitting in front of your computer with your forth glass beside the keyboard, and a cigarette in your right hand, texting a code to Nejire as you puffed on your cigarette.

The moment you saw one familiar and one not so familiar usernames getting into the private lobby , you smiled widely once Nejire started laughing loudly.

There was something about it that was pissing you off, making you kick or ban anyone who writes it. This time, you were too busy laughing with your friend, and instead doing any of it, you simply started the game.

You sighed in relief, taking a sip of your wine, as Nejire ran around you with her friend, singing loudly. Ignoring the two of them, you made your way to the Admin room, to swipe the card, not so surprised once you saw a crew of other players doing the same thing.

,,KENTUCKYCRIEDFRICKEN WHERE ARE YOU’’ you heard Nejire once she entered the room. Once she noticed the cyan color hiding in the crowd she hurried with her Pink character toward you.

,,Wanna watch me scan?’’ she asked, making you giggle as she just gave you the secret code, making sure you know that she’s the Impostor.

,,Nah, Imma pass’’ you said, getting out of the room. You were pretty sure she’ll win the game, since she had you and her friend on her damn side, but you did wish you could know who the other Impostor is. Ignoring her, you made your way toward the Weapons, to clear the damn Asteroids and just look for someone to play around with. These people were way too quiet for your taste.

,,Heyyyy what’s up man?’’ you almost screamed excitedly when you saw a dark blue character, hopefully a crewmate, standing there and clearing Asteroids, or you thought so. You forced your voice a pitch higher, giggling to yourself, knowing how stupid you sound.

,,Oh my god, how old are you?’’ the stranger asked. The moment you spoke, all the giggles were gone. That guys voice was so damn deep, you literally had to lit a cigarette before you decided to speak up again.

,,Old enough’’ you laughed, refusing to tell him your real age just now.

,,Older than 18?’’ he asked, as you were shooting those Asteroids, not that focused.

,, Of course’’ you gasped, rolling your eyes, like he might see you.

At the end of the short meeting, White was voted out.

You made your way to Reactor to do your task, and Nejire and her friend followed you, probably to look a bit clear to others. You hated the task you had to do, so you took your time, ignoring the loud laughs coming from your friend.

Shortly, the voice of Nejire was changed with the deep one.

,, So, what do you do usually?’’ he asked, as you tried to start the reactor. You had trouble with that task without being tipsy, so alcohol wasn’t really helping in your current situation.

,, I’m streets salesman of burgers’’ you joked, making him laugh a bit. Only to end up telling him that you are actually a student, having a mini job at the café near where you live. You weren’t even sure if his voice was making you speak up or the alcohol, but you almost found yourself telling him the story of your life.

,, Where are you going?’’ he asked you, as you made your way toward Electrical, stopping once the lights got off. You didn’t want to look sus to him, but you didn’t want to go there, since everyone knows that the first person that enters the room will end up dead.

You heart almost skipped a beat when you saw In the chat box how your dark blue feiend was the second Impostor. You found it extremely cute that he had way too many chances to kill you and he never did. Instead of killing you, he was simply chatting with you.

CREWMATE

Usually you were the one to hate playing as impostor, always feeling the pressure and thinking that you’ll ruin the game for the other impostor, but tipsy like that, you wished you could be one now, and kill some crewmates around.

Once you finished everything up, you made your way toward the little Game shop, the one you were a well known costumer in. The now not so new Crash Bandicoot game that got out months ago was finally on the sale. You wanted to buy it the same day it got out, but $75 was too much, and it’s not like you’re shitting money.

The moment you bought the game, you wished you could fucking teleport yourself home, but sadly, you still had stuff to do and the game had to wait.

You almost teared up, when you chose the retro function of the game, where you can get and loose life, thinking you’re the old school gamer. Oh, how fast you changed it once you realized how hard the game is.

After playing the game for two hours, you realized that you definitely won’t be able to finish it in one night. You were glad that the production was aiming for the old public, but you didn’t expect it to be that hard.

-Your attitude towards DevilDom and demons in general kept him entertained, if nothing else

-You rarely seemed to consider how much of a threat that place really is and usually you were just running around, completely ignoring Lucifer’s rules and doing your own thing

-I can’t say there were no incidents between the two of you

-With his short temper and your tendency to say things without caring about the consequences, there were definitely moments when he might’ve snapped on you

-“MC for goodness sake, what happened to my room?”

-“What do you mean?”

-“It’s an absolute mess! I just told you to bring me my spells and curses book, not mow through everything!”

-“It’s not my fault this place is built like a fucking labyrinth. You should be grateful I went to get it for you at all, I almost tripped and died several times on my way back. Also, you should get a new ladder for your shelves. It did the broken.”

-Other than the fact his anger takes over him when things like these happen, he not so subtly encourages you to keep going because seeing Lucifer scowl at your antics gets him wheezing his lungs out

-I like to think Satan would be very impressed, even in the beginning, at the amount of nonchalance you can radiate at times

-I mean, you sure as hell don’t see it often and he loves how unpredictable you are more often than not

-If anything, he should probably thank you-idk how, but his patience has increased significantly every since you got here and he appreciates having some more control of his emotions

-“I’m gonna go put oil in Lucifer’s shoes.”

-“Do you have a death wish?”

-“Satan, I am old enough to make my own decisions and I concluded that this action is necessary.”

-“Necessary for what?”

-“Raising everyone’s morale! All of you seemed to feel down lately so I thought this would be fun for everybody!”

-He should’ve known something was up with this particular human when you stood there, completely calm and collected, while Beel salivated at the thought of eating you on your first day

-Asmo just brushed it off for a while but it kept happening???

-The first time Lucifer ever told you off, you really went and said “Or what? Are you going to eat me? If so, you can go ahead and start with-“

-He came to your rescue and covered your mouth before you got to finish and before Lucifer unleashed his wrath on to everyone in that house

-“OOPSIE! I think MC has been spending too much time with me. Sorry Lucifer, we gotta run now! We have a party to attend, don’t we MC darling?”

-“You mean the one hosted by the guy that tried to kill me because I shoved into him on the hallway at school and then proceeded to tell him to go fuck himself right back into whatever hell hole he was born in before you came and charmed our way out of it?”

-“Yes.”

-“Ah OK. “

-You’re tiring for sure but you’re not exactly unlikeable

-Becomes your body guard because you may not care enough about your safety but he certainly does so get ready to be carried everywhere

-You will not get hurt nor will anyone mess with you if he has a say in it and let me tell you, he does

-Thing is, his brothers mostly know him for being slightly dense in some aspects of day to day life

-He’s not perceptive of things that don’t involve food or his loved ones

-And because you most definitely are a loved one of his, he does notice how careless you are really often

-And it scares, rather worries, him because DevilDom is an incredibly dangerous place-even with all the precautions they had taken when you came

-“MC get down, you could fall.”

-“But Beel, look-I’m finally taller than everyone else! Taller than you even! Hey, should I do a backflip?”

-He has no idea why you thought jumping from 60 meter high cliff into a small river of squashed demon blood was a good idea but he wasn’t going to risk anything just because you felt like showing off your diving skills

-Proceeds to carry you away, completely unfazed

-In this case, I feel like Beel is not someone who gets bothered by the horrible things happening around there either

-As long as he has food and his family is safe and happy then he’s also happy, as mentioned above

-But he knows he’s alright with DevilDom because he’s been living here for centuries now

-A bit curious as to why you’re so unbothered

-And even more curious as to why you weren’t terrified of him transforming in his demon form after he lost control when he found out you ate his pudding

-Or more like Mammon did and pushed the blame on you

-“YOU. ATE. MY. PUDDING!”

-“Beel I love you but if you did not just see Mammon shoving the damn container in my mouth two seconds prior to this, then you might need glasses.”

-He apologised to you later for it but even so, you didn’t seem to mind like at all and he didn’t really understand why

-Unless you end up explaining why exactly you feel so indifferent about your life being in potential danger, he won’t really pry

-But now he has even more reason to follow you around like a lost puppy

-Since it’s clear you don’t really care about protecting yourself

-So now it’s his job to do it

Like Sakusa with his little boy and ushijima with his son and daughter. Sorry you can ignore this

This dude was like 👁👄👁 when you called him only half an hour into practice to ask

They were on a water break after doing a bunch of drills and his phone lit up with your contact picture

Atsumu: Aw Omi Omi, that’s a cute picture of you two~

Kiyoomi: I will literally end you ❤️

Anyways he grabs his phone and stalks off to get away from the team since he knew they would eavesdrop if he stayed that close

The second he answered the phone, you started rambling and like begging for forgiveness so he was just “???”

Y/N: Yoomi! I swear I’ll make dinner for the next week and-- and I’ll uhhh... buy all of the groceries and cleaning supplies for a while and-- and

Kiyoomi: tf are you going on about?

Y/N: Is it okay if I drop Hi-chan off with you? ... I got called into work and the nanny’s busy...

He goes silent for a second, which makes you start to freak out because you were out of options for who to call

Your parents were on a cruise which both you and Kiyoomi got them for their 30th anniversary so they won’t home and your siblings lived on the other side of the country

Kiyoomi’s parents were too busy and so was his older siblings

He was your final resort

After a few seconds he just kind of laughs quietly and sighs

Fifteen minutes later, you pop into the gym with Hitoshi (not the bnha character LMAO) and Hinata and Bokuto both go “TINY OMI-KUN!!!!”

Oh my god when I tell you Sakusa almost had an aneurysm when they started to run towards you and his son, i mean it

he literally went from one side of the gym to in front of you two with the most disgusted look on his face

Hito’s pretty similar to Sakusa as in like... he hates germs so when he saw those two sweaty adults running towards him he just

Bo and Hinata are trying to get near Hito, but Sakusa just completely blocks them

Anyways, you realize the time and literally sprint out of there to get to work

Bokuto: Mini Omi-kun! HI!!!

Hito: 👁👄👁 you’re so sweaty pls don’t touch me sir ❤️

Bo goes :(( but recovers when Hito apologizes after seeing how sad he got

Cause even tho Sakusa wouldn’t apologize, Hito was also raised by you and he’s a kid so he just kind of gets all flustered

Hito pats his shoulder to try and comfort him and Bo goes “!!” and like picks up the poor boy

At first, Hito is TERRIFIED but after a few seconds, he starts giggling and enjoying himself

Sakusa was about to kill him but then he saw his little son all happy and his heart clenched

After a few minutes of fooling around with Hito, they start practice again since they can’t spend the whole day just fooling around with the little Sakusa lol

The whole time while they’re doing drills (or smth idk how professional volleyball practice is LMAO), Hito’s standing next to Coach Foster and his eyes are so bright and big

He’s super excited to see his dad play because he hadn’t gone to that many games (Sakusa said that there were too many germs and that he’d get sick)

So to see his dad going like “BLAM” with the ball was like “!!”

They do a game of 2v2 and he’s cheering so loud for his dad it’s so cute

Hinata and Atsumu are on a team together and they’re sitting on the sidelines with Hito until they get to play

Hito getting super excited and energetic when he sees his dad playing volleyball so he asks them about the players :(((

Stop I can just imagine a tiny sakusa with more energy just being so cute

Practice finally ends for the day and Sakusa walks out of the locker room and Hito’s like “DAD!!!!!!!” and runs towards him

Sakusa’s soft for his son so he chuckles and picks him up

Hito: you were so cool!!!! You went like BLAM and BOOM!!

Sakusa, internally: oh god, i gave birth to another Hinata...

USHIJIMA WAKATOSHI

SO in this one you’re on a business trip for work and like.. the nanny cancelled on him the morning of so he was like “well, shit”

But like not really cause he’d probably be nonchalant about it

His daughter, Riko is 3 and his son, Eiji is only a few months old so he comes into practice with a baby carrier and Hoshiumi’s like

Riko’s super energetic unlike her father or her brother so she’s running around the second she walks into the gym and Ushijimas like 👁👄👁 cause he’s not quite sure if he should scold her or not

Normally you’re around and or the nanny so he’s not sure what to do LMAO

Riko’s unusually energetic and he’s pretty sure she got it from you lol

Romero sees Ushijima’s look of pure conflict and almost loses a lung from how hard he laughed

Ushijima may be super smart when it came to volleyball but it seems children is the next obstacle

Riko and Hoshiumi somehow bond in hardly any time and suddenly Riko’s on his shoulders and they’re running around

Kageyama’s looking at the children with utter confusion

Eventually, they actually have to start practice so Riko and baby Eiji were by the benches

Lmao Riko running onto court because she wants to play volleyball with her dad and Ushijima having a stroke

He’s bowing so low to the coaches because he just... doesn’t know what to do

it was hard enough to get them out of bed today

It’s okay with everyone and Hoshiumi literally tries to pass the ball to Riko and Romero SCREAMS in fear

Romero’s definitely the savior of the day when it comes to the kids

Ushijima carries Riko off the court and the tiny bab was like >:0 !! When he sat her back down with Eiji

Riko: DAD >:0 !!!

Ushijima just asks her to stay on the bench but he doesn’t want to scold her

She listens to him because she sees how conflicted he looks finally

Lmao she tries to pass a ball to Eiji and Ushijima’s like “oh, oh god.”

Talking about Eiji, he starts crying and the coach just SIGHS and gives them a ten minute break

Ushijima losing ten years of his life as he tries to calm Eiji down

Hoshiumi: !! he wants to play volleyball too !!

Romero: Hoshiumi, no... please...

Ushijima eventually calms the crying baby down and feeds him a bottle

Eiji ends up falling asleep after that tho so there’s no more issues with him for the rest of practice ❤️

It would be interesting to see Ushijima with his kids lolol

practice ends and Riko’s like “DAD!!! Teach me how to play volleyball now!!!” even though he’s already began

She’s a bit forgetful ❤️

Romero literally starts giving Ushijima tips and everything because he sees how confused he is

Ushijima heads home with his two kids and he’s just listening to Riko ramble a lot and he’s happy

He was scared she wouldn’t like to be there and would throw a fit but similar to her father, she’s super excited about volleyball

You call them on the way home and Riko’s like “MOM !! I WANNA PLAY VOLLEYBALL !!”

You start giggling and you listen to her ramble for a while before asking her to give the phone to her dad

Ushijima: please never go on a business trip again ❤️

SAPNAP LORE STREAM SPOILERS, SRSLY DON'T KEEP READING IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED

alright let's talk about this.

we start off with sapnap and george in the community house which in and of itself I find interesting. like do they just hang out there?

anyways, sapnap says he hasn't seen quackity in forever. that he wants to know where he's at. saying last time he saw him was in like, el rapids. george says practically nothing (a theme you'll find the whole way through this stream) which is strange considering he HAS seen quackity recently . and he knows where he is (maybe not directly) . but perhaps he thinks that was a dream and doesn't want to misinform sapnap? who knows.

they go to el rapids looking for quackity, and find mexican dream crying instead and a destroyed el rapids. sapnap assumes it was destroyed by dream, (because why would he think that? he has every right to believe it was him) and he tells that to mexican dream. they go visit the prison bc mexican dream is freaked out and wants dream dead, and a bunch of just stupid shit happens. also, during this bit I'd like to mention sapnap reiterates that he wants dream to stay in the prison, that he deserves to be in there. idk why I'm saying that I just think it's important to note for his character.

but then mexican dream remembers that QUACKITY destroyed el rapids. he relays that to them, and sapnap doesn't believe it. (once again, why would he?) george is dead silent the whole time. I have a feeling he can't tell if he's dreaming or not, hence why he was either silent, messing around, or not really caring.

back to sapnap tho, we go through this whole dumbass bit with mexican dream turning american and stuff and the whole time sapnap is just BEGGING him to take him to quackity. literally so desperate to find him, and neither mexican dream nor george cooperating. that is until mexican dream is towering up, about to take his own life, when he sees las nevadas in the distance.

the three of them walk to las nevadas and sapnap seems frantic and wants to make sure quackity is there, very very clearly wanting nothing more than to talk to him. but, mexican dream starts freaking out, being scared of quackity and las nevadas and sapnap sighs, taking him to kinoko.

sapnap tells him he will be safe in kinoko, and that he isn't going to let shit happen to that place. it's his home. he mentions how the community house was destroyed, and mexican dream asked who did it, wondering if it was quackity and saying he would kill him. sapnap says no, he was pretty sure it was dream who destroyed the community house, and promptly tries to move on. I won't ignore the little ".. what?" from george after he said that though. it just hit me in that moment that george doesn't know dream was the one to destroy the community house... can't imagine how he's handling that info. (espically considering he continued to be silent after that)

sapnap shows mexican dream to a place he can stay and swears to protect him and the land, but to no avail. mexican dream jumps, dying and logging out of the game. sapnap seems shocked for a second, but then he immediately softens. like he's numb. like he's used to the feeling of those around him just leaving. even when he gives his all to try and help. the stream ends with sapnap asking george to catch him as he jumps, and that's it.

sapnap wants to find quackity. he wants to find him and he misses him. I noticed he was avoiding calling quackity his fiance, and maybe this is just me over thinking or maybe he thinks quackity doesn't think of him like that anymore since they haven't seen each other in so long. but regardless of all that, he wants to find quackity and the next lore stream will be their confrontation. that is going to be a sad fucking mess and I cannot in anyway predict how it will end up. let alone how karl will play into all of this...

In conclusion, people who say sapnap doesn't care about quackity I'm gonna need you to shut the fuck up and use this stream as even further evidence that ur wrong. and at the end of the day, c! sapnap is still one of the most tragic characters and I cannot fucking wait for more.

I think Osamu would vibe really well with you. He's not annoying, he's really really chill, and he has a pretty sharp tongue himself.

Judges people as an attempt to make you laugh, and he sees it as a personal victory if he can get you to crack a smile or smirk. He just doesn't make a big deal about it, unlike his twin xD

Osamu: y/n look at that guy. he's totally crushing on his brother's best friend, could he not be more obvious about it??

Y/n: *cracks a smirk* yeah, it does seem so.

He also cooks for you pretty often, and even if you protest against accepting it, you'll usually find a bento hidden in your locker or bag.

He knows you might not accept it straight, so he finds other ways to get it to you. Osamu actually thinks of you as a cooler sister that he says "he'd trade Atsumu for"

In general, the twins are the life of Inarizaki and although they're sometimes annoying, they mean well and it's plain to see that they love you.

Kita loves how smart and analytical you are. I've said this before, I'll say it again— Kita thinks brains are sexy 😤

Especially when you call the team to give your insights about their opponents, or give them ideas on how to improve their play, Kita is literally there like “I'm so glad she's ours”

Because you would be a dangerous asset to other teams, and Kita is the most thankful that you're with them.

He's also a really good leader and although the two of you don't have heart-to-hearts or conversations like the twins, you know he'll ALWAYS be there for you.

Like once, it was raining and practice was cancelled, so you decided to wait in school until the rain subsided (because you didn't want to get wet), and our sweet Kita searched for you in every single classroom until the finally found you and walked you home. That's just the dynamic you had with him

He also often checks up on you, even when it's unrelated to volleyball. Have you done your homework? have you ate breakfast this morning? although you're usually sarcastic with the twins and most of the other members of the team, you can't bring yourself to do so with Kita.

The respect you guys have for each other is unmatched and that's probably why you're such a golden duo in Inarizaki. The leader and the analytical manager.

And now Suna. I think Suna would be the member you have the deepest bond with. you truly allow him to see who you are inside, and he does the same. You guys really just click.

It started with him complaining about Atsumu, and slowly progressed into you letting Suna be the only member to have physical contact with you, but only when the others aren't looking.

Sometimes, if you guys are the only two people in the gym, he'll nap on your lap or lean on your shoulder.

If you didn't already know, like everyone else in Inarizaki, he has a crush on you 😖🖐️ like damn you thought Atsumu had it bad? nah, Suna has it the worst.

He literally asks his little sister to let him practice braiding her hair, just so he'll be perfect when he someday asks to do yours.

But he always chickens out because he's scared you'll say no 😭😭 he's internally very shy, okay? 🥺🥺

He's literally your best friend. You guys have study sessions together, anime nights, literally anything, he's right there with you. The rest of the team are literally not aware of how close the two of you are.

Until one day, Atsumu tries daring you to kiss Suna on the forehead, and instead of flat-out refusing (like you've done before when he's dared you to kiss him, or Akagi) you shrug and gently kiss Suna on the forehead, causing Suna to smile and ruffle your hair.

The rest of the team is just shocked.

Atsumu: what is this FUCKERY?? is y/n literally WILLINGLY touching someone ??¿¿

Y/n and Suna: *smirks*

Atsumu, close to tears: okay

But the rest of the team soon accept you and Suna have a pretty special bond, and that you're genuinely softer when it comes to him.

You don't snap at him much, and as they've noticed, Suna has started being more brave about leaning on your shoulder or sleeping on your lap.

Of course, the rest of the team (with the exception of Kita) is jealous. But hey, they just don't have Suna's charm, okay? xD

You make Suna want to try harder, and he's way more motivated to give it his all in every single game. Mostly because he wants you to be proud of him.

He definitely has a nickname for you, but he will only use it when he's sure you guys are alone. And in return, you call him "Rin" which makes his heart flutter 🥺🥺

KAHDKSS I TOOK SO LONG WITH THE SUNA ONE PLEASE IM TURNING BOTH OF US INTO EVEN BIGGER SUNA SIMPS (as if we weren't already xD)

Now onto Aran !! Aran is a softie who (like Kita) respects you a great deal. He'll fend Atsumu and Osamu off if he senses you aren't having a great day.

He's also pretty good at giving you your space but he checks up on you every once in a while if anyone is bothering you.

Although he's shy about it, Aran actually comes to you when he doesn't understand a homework question. You're super smart and he knows you won't make him feel bad about not knowing.

And it makes you feel happy to know he trusts you, so you help him as best as you can. It's a little secret of yours that the other members don't know about.

It especially lights your day up when he gets a good grade and whispers a silent "thank you" to you in class.

In return, will help you with anything you ask for. No questions asked.

And now, last but not least, sunshine Akagi!! I think he's a total Hinata Shoyo, so he might annoy you a bit at first because of his bright personality.

But deep down inside, you love how easily he gets people to smile and slowly find yourself warming up to him.

And Akagi is really determined to get you to smile (at least once a day) so he cracks the corniest jokes or makes puns.

It has become a thing between the two of you, where Akagi tells you a joke a day, and you rate it out of ten.

Gone are the days when you found him annoying. And now, even if you won't tell him outright— you really do think he's one of the brightest people in your life.

Additional headcanons

CHEERING YOU UP— whenever you feel quieter than usual, or a bit more sarcastic, the boys immediately know something is wrong and rush over to make you feel okay. Literally, it's almost like they've abandoned practice. And eventhough you tell them to get back to it, they refuse to leave until you're feeling better. Suna usually gives you a hug and kisses your forehead, whilst Akagi cracks jokes. Then, (and eventhough you protest) Atsumu lists off all the things you should love about yourself, whilst Osamu buys you ice cream (food is, after all, the best cure for anything). Aran is literally ready to HUNT the person who affected your mood down, and kill them, whilst Kita is literally just holding him back and making sure things don't go overboard. Even if you aren't fully cheered up by then, you'd have laughed a whole lot and know how much they care for you, so honestly... how could you stay sad?

REACTING TO YOU TELLING THEM OFF— Suna is literally just meh about it. He can't take you seriously because he's a dork who thinks he's not included in the list of "idiots" (but no Suna, u mf, you ARE included -_-). Atsumu thinks it's hot 👀 (as I mentioned above), Akagi is genuinely upset/ready to sob and vows to do better. Kita is proud of you for telling them off before he could do it (Kita is not included in the "idiots". How could he? he's PERFECT 🖐️). Osamu and Aran have similar reactions, because they end up apologizing and try to change tactics and do better.

HOW THEY'D ACT WHEN YOU START DATING SUNA— (because this is honestly inevitable, wbk 😭❤️). Atsumu would be jealous. Petty and would call Suna "pretty boy" every chance he gets. Leave him, im sure he'll get over it 🥺🥺 Osamu is pretty jealous too, but he'll never show it and focuses instead on your happiness. Kita approves, and honestly thinks you're a good influence on Suna. Aran is protective of you, and would literally gun Suna down if he ever hurt you (but he won't. Suna loves you, he'd literally jump down a cliff before ever hurting you 😤🖐️) and Akagi is cheerful as before, but extra glad because you seem to smile a bit more often (and Akagi loves your smile).
