being the inarizaki vb club's precious manager hcs

summary: you sign up to be the boys vb team manager bc like why not you'd prob get some good organization skills but you end up gaining some bffs, some bruises, and a whole crew of bodyguards

warnings: a liiiiiittle bit of swearing and mentions of harassment also its not proofread

you signed up to be the manager for the boy's vb team not knowing what it would be like

it was ur second year of high school and u had quit abt 7 clubs bc they just weren't that interesting

not like in a mean way like "ugh! this is too boring for my tastes smh" but just it didn't have any appeal so u smiled and resigned with no hard feelings yk

IT WASNT LIKE A SALTY QUIT U JUST COULDNT FIND ANYTHING THAT WAS FUN AND THAT U WERE PASSIONATE ABT I CANT STRESS THIS ENOUGH ITS NOT LIKE THAT GIRL'S HOST HOPPING THING FROM OURAN

tbh u just didn't rly know what other club to sign up for and the boys vb team needed a manager soo..

they honestly should have just put "babysitting some brats that are somehow the same age" instead of "managing the boy's volleyball team"

they are so protective of you lol

like this one time you let out a little scream bc some random teacher touched your no-no square in a very intentional way

the vb team was THERE in 2 seconds flat

kita stares at him intensely while holding back the twins by their shirt to keep them from quite literally MURDERING THAT MAN

aran calms down ginjima and akagi who literally just start hyperventilating

suna stares at him. hard.

the twins who are unable to attack him just scream

"WHAT. DID. YOU. DO. TO. OUR. MANAGER U FUCKING JACKASS" etc

the teacher got fired the next day funny coincidence huh ?

kita is actually helpful

he's canonically good at keeping ur fellow second years in check so lucky u !

hes also rly organized and tidy which is v helpful !

aran is such a sweetie

helps u out in any way that he can

also acts a pillow to some of kita's blunt blows

like "he means that he's sorry bc he realized that he seems kinda unappreciative of ur efforts sometimes" when kita says smth like "sorry for not saying nice words to you"

akagi shares ur puppy energy so the two of u get along rly well

ur both friendly ppl so its a v sweet and wholesome relationship

u sometimes have to stop gin from making bad decisions but ugs get along well

is always eating like u turn around during class and he's just eating an onigiri behind his folder 😐

ugs like to gang up on atsumu its a great bonding activity

you and suna r sleep buddies bc u both r so sleep-deprived

well suna's just a sleepy person but u r sleep deprived so ugs will sleep side-by-side during free periods

suna always forgets his lunch so u've learned to pack extra for him

you let him sleep on ur lap and he lets u sleep in his

when the four of u take buses or trains to hang out u and suna always sit next to each other so that ugs can fall asleep on each other

if ur up for it he'll cuddle with u platonically

Having a situationship with Osamu Miya was absolutely hilarious; his possessiveness towards you against his own twin never fails to make you crack up. It's been over 5 months of never-ending flirting and playful dates with him, and you're honestly wondering how things will turn out, especially since he's known to be inaccessible and completely out of touch with girls.

"You called for me?"

your gentle voice sent chills through his spine; you had an obvious affect on him that drove him insane. You were aware of this, not to deny that he has the same impact on you, which may be worse than what he is experiencing.

"Let's be together, for real"

Osamu, with a serious expression and a firm voice. So he's really asking you to be his girlfriend in this way?

You found this very hilarious, even though you had butterflies and had been waiting for him to ask this. The 5 months and 2 weeks had been amazing, and you're wanting for more.

"For real?," you asked playfully.

He leaned in and stroked your hair. His eyes were still pierced through yours, and his dashing attractiveness was out of this world, so incredible.

"Yeah, 'ya heard that right."

You smiled, knowing why he felt the need to label your relationship. You and Atsumu were chosen to represent your class in a school event, and the other twin, Osamu, was naturally disturbed.

You found the twins' dynamics fascinating, and your first impression of Osamu was very different from Atsumu's. 'Samu was more laid back, and he was a 'cool-quiet-guy' that many of the girls on the campus loved.

"Don't just look at me, pretty, what's yer answer? is it a yes or nah?" he asked again

Osamu begins to feel the pressure as he sounds desperate. He's never been envious of Atsumu. But the thought of you standing beside his twin, proudly representing your class, makes him sick to his stomach.

"It all depends on what you want to hear"

You decided to play him a little more, but you already knew what answer you'd give him when he asked. His reactions were unexpected, so you're curious to hear what he has to say.

"That ain't even a question, i wanna be yer bf so bad." Osamu replied with a frigid tone

His tensed up cold face was charming; he appears stiff but maintains his "cool" demeanor.

"Will I be able to kiss you if you were my boyfriend?" you asked, anticipating what he would say. attempting to get past his barriers.

That shattered his wall, and the 'cool-quiet-guy' has his ice completely shattered and melted off, his face reddening.

He was speechless as he couldn't say anything, so you waited for him. It took him a few seconds to say something.

"I didn't know ya wanted those, i could give it to ya now."

With just that, everything changed quickly, and you're now speechless. Who wouldn't, after all? But, unlike him, you were quick to get your voice out.

"You think you could?"

You prevented the urge to stutter, you can't! You can and should keep up with his cool demeanor; this was a piece of cake for you! Yes, but why are your hands trembling?

"Yeah, but firstly be my gf," he responded calmly.

You were a puzzle to him, so difficult to please and so difficult to win over. But he knows that everything will be worth it for you. You are magnificent. Finally giving up, you crossed your arms and stared at him.

"Fine, you'll be my boyfriend. You're probably doing this because my partner was Atsumu, but-"

"Bae, don't even mention the name of some insect now, I'm yer partner."

You laughed, and yes, Osamu 'the cooler Miya' is your only partner.

HQ Osamu - Interrupting Confession (Fluff)

As soon as the dismissal bell rang, Osamu's classroom door opened in haste. Due to the frantic opening, Osamu looked up to see his brother panicking. Osamu just gave a disinterested look before going back to packing his things, but as he was about to zip his bag, Atsumu dragged him out in a rush, heading to whoever knows. "What the fuck is your problem?!"

Atsumu did not stop walking as he replied to him, "We don't have time for this, you fuckin pig!"

"Who the fuck are you calling a pig, you little shit?!"

"I said that's not important right now! It's about y/n, you dumbass!"

At Atsumu's words, Osamu's eyes widened. "What about her?!"

"I heard a guy was going to confess to her right now! Don't you have to go and fuckin interrupt it?!" Osamu nodded his head and began to ran along with Atsumu rather being dragged by him. At Osamu's actions, Atsumu scoffed but ran even faster.

Soon they spotted y/n's silhouette with an unfamiliar guy who looked shy. Osamu was about to run towards them, but Atsumu stopped him and hid themselves behind the wall. "What the fuck?! Let me go!"

"Wait, you piece of shit! Go interrupt them in the right timing!"

"What right timing?!"

"Just wait you fuckin shit!"

Osamu groaned but waited as Atsumu has instructed. The twins peaked behind the wall as they tried to eavesdrop on their conversation. "I can't hear them properly..." Osamu groaned.

"Shut up! I'm trying to listen!" Atsumu scowled as he paid attention to the two silhouettes.

"Hey, thank you for showing up..." The guy said with slight pinkish face.

"Sure," y/n said as she stared at him with curiosity. "So what did you want to talk about?"

"I... I like you! Go out with me!" The guy yelled in flustered state.

Y/n eyes widened in shock while Osamu clenched his fist as he prayed for her to reject the confession. As Osamu was about to ask Atsumu if he can go interrupt them now, but before he can do so, Atsumu pushed him towards them. "Go! Pretend like you are her boyfriend!"

Osamu was not at the state of questioning whether or not his brother was right. He just nodded and quickly headed towards the two people and made sure to put on his usual face.

"What are you doing here?" He asked y/n as if he wasn't eavesdropping on them a minute ago. "I thought we were supposed to go home together."

"W-Wha?" The guy looked so confused while y/n looked at him with a look of amusement. Unknown to Osamu, y/n could read him like an open book.

Osamu turned towards the guy with a slight frown. "Who is this?"

"I-I..." Before the guy had the chance to answer him, Osamu interrupted him. "What business do you have with my girlfriend?"

At the word, girlfriend, the guy gasped as his eyes widened. "G-Girlfriend?!"

Y/n chuckled at Osamu's words before linking her arms around his. "Yeah... So I can't accept your feelings. Sorry, but thank you for liking me." She smiled at him before tugging Osamu's sleeves as a sign for them to go.

Osamu blushed as he glanced where Atsumu was before he walked along with her. He saw Atsumu giving him a thumbs up before disappearing from his line of sight.

When they were out of the guy's sight, y/n unlinked her arms before laughing as she stared at him. "What was that about?"

Osamu avoided eye contact with her as he pretended not understanding what she was talking about.

"Since when were you my boyfriend?" Y/n asked in amusement.

Osamu could feel his whole face and neck turning hot that he quickly covered them with his hand. "Y-You should be thankful! I helped you reject him!"

Y/n grinned as she nodded. "Oh~ That was what it was about? Thanks I guess then, I thought it was mutual feelings~" She then walked ahead of him.

At her words, Osamu was stunned as his brain tried to process what he just heard. As he was processing, y/n hastened her steps to put a distance between them as she laughed in glee. When Osamu was done processing her words, he quickly followed after her. "M-Mutual?! Did you just say mutual?!"

Y/n had a playful expression as she stuck her tongue out before running faster. "You said you were just helping~ Why does it matter?"

"N-No!" Osamu shook his head as he tried to catch up to her.

"What do you mean no? You were the one who said it a while ago~" Y/n laughed as she crossed the streets. "I'm busy, so I'll head off first! Bye bye!"

Osamu looked like he was about to cry. Y/n laughed even harder at his expression as she waved at him from the other side of the street. Then she brought out her phone as she walked towards wherever she had to head.

Osamu ruffled his hair in frustration before letting out a long sigh. "Why did she had to be pretty even at this moment..."

As he didn't know what to do, he felt his phone vibrate. When he brought out his phone and read the message he received, his face turned like a tomato as he crouched down, ignoring the stares of the people walking pass him. "I really like her..."

he has really dark humor, i think it barely stays before the line of becoming offensive

but he never aims to be offensive he's just stupid n doesn't think b4 he talks

he's pretty reserved tho so it's not an ocurrence for him to say stuff like that

very cooperative during practice almost never gets scolded

he is on a higher class than the other 2nd years, he actually puts some effort in school 😌

the other 2nd years sans atsumu, he still can't believe atsumu can actually pull his own weight in class 😨

note: i thought of the concept a while back, and i wanted to amplify my headcanons because i, myself, am a big fan of magical girl animangas. also m'pushing my spoiling-bf!atsumu agenda, hehe. ;p

HEADCANONS

inarizaki with a girlfriend who has shelves full of magical girl mangas.

inarizaki with a girlfriend that has glasses due to how late she stays up reading the said mangas.

inarizaki with a girlfriend who would explain the story in EXCRUCIATING detail, and they'd still love you for it. (kita and suna are probably listening intently, kita because he's just a good listener in general, and suna because he's only a tiny bit interested in the plot).

inarizaki with a girlfriend who owns a ton of merch from the franchise. (from sailor moon luna plushies to cardcaptor sakura's staff, you have it all).

inarizaki with a girlfriend who likes to sing along to the openings/endings of her favorite magical girl animes.

inarizaki spoiling their girlfriend with limited/hard-to-get items on her birthday. (very atsumu.)

SCENARIO

"atsumu miya, you did not." you gaped in mere disbelief, holding up the signed tokyo mew mew poster in front of you. atsumu shrugged, a small smirk forming on his face at the satisfied reaction he got out of you. "tugged a few strings and got that for ya since i remembered how much you liked the show." he said, "ain't i the best boyfriend ever?"

you smiled at him, "the best."

"oh, and," atsumu pulls out a holographic SSR madoka magica goddess card from his pocket, "this is for you too."

your eyes widened, setting the poster aside on your desk before examining the shiny card to confirm its autheticity. no creases, no rips, it was in mint condition. "t- this is expensive, 'tsumu! how'd you even get one of these?!" you exclaimed.

"like i said, tugged a few strings." atsumu reminded.

shiratorizawa/inarizaki headcanons bc i miss them and i love them and i crave yamagata and reon content so i have to be the change i want to see in the world. so let's go!!

reon, the love of my life

i actually think he really likes comforting cozy slice-of-life sim games, like stardew valley and animal crossing and such

okay this is the part where i retcon the entire haikyuu timeline bc i really like the idea of everyone piling into reon's and tendou's dorm and watching reon game on a switch

or just like. gathering in the common area and squishing onto the couch or whatever while reon roams his island collecting fruits and bugs or whatever

(these games are the only sense of peace and stability reon gets at this goddamn school)

anyways it's funny bc tendou screams every time reon runs into a wasp's nest and yells "RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN" until reon either gets stung or successfully evades them

admittedly i do think the ds and gameboy are sacred and, for the sake of nostalgia, are definitely used to play pokemon (of which everyone has a favorite gen and get into endless arguments about it)

tendou DOES teach goshiki how to pirate shit and get ROM hacks and emulators and such tho

reon and semi are the most popular members out of the third years btw

they're both polite and calm and generally nice and don't have an RBF that makes people nervous

too many people keep trying to fight yamagata just bc they think he's glaring at them and he is SO tired

yamagata (slightly inspired by my own recent purchase) decides to get a phone charm to see if it'll help him keep track of his phone btw

he mentions this idea to semi who mentions it to reon who mentions it to tendou who blabs to the whole team. and guess what? everyone gets the absolutely brilliant idea of gifting yamagata a phone charm!!!

so now he has like a dozen different ones. and he's STILL losing his goddamn phone, so now his convos are like "have you seen my phone? yeah right now it's got a little phone charm hanging off of it, so just keep an eye out for that. what does the charm look like? oh i meant it's a charm that is literally a phone. of course it was tendou, who else do you think it was"

tendou has also taken to putting stickers on yamagata in an attempt to make him "less scary". sometimes yamagata knows about it. sometimes he doesn't.

kawanishi: "yamagata-san, pardon me for asking, but why do you have one-punch man on your butt" yamagata: "i have what now"

tendou meets someone he can talk to manga about online in some fandom/community forum or whatever and he is absolutely BETRAYED to find out that it's akagi michinari of inarizaki

okay not really but he is SUPER dramatic about it and keeps going on and on to akagi about how he can't be caught fraternizing with the enemy

akagi is just like "yeah yeah now are we going to talk about the complexities of yoru being both a victim and a perpetrator and his inevitable redemption arc or what"

(GO READ GOKURAKUGAI I AM BEGGING)

aran is still scared of tendou btw. like he won't outright admit it but he's still not over the time tendou yelled that he was going to piss in his pants from all the way across the court.

when akagi tells him they've become friends aran is like "are you SURE about that"

also i know tendou gets pissed off at suna. but i think it'd be REALLY funny if suna got pissed off at kawanishi

something something "he should be more sure of himself, he'll never stop aran-san like that" something something "and i thought i was a sarcastic little bitch" something something "no i DON'T think he's cute what the fuck are you on about"

(i didn't mean for it to go that way when i started typing it but i DO think it'd be an absolutely hilarious development)

i htink kawanishi and shirabu go on a lot of study dates, holing up at coffeeshops and boba cafes with their backpacks and notebooks and spending hours on homework and studying

shirabu worked his ass off to get into shiratorizawa and he intends to keep it that way!! he's a model student. probably even the top of their year. everyone knows him as the high-achiever.

kawanishi is there to make sure shirabu doesn't get lost inside his head and gets him take breaks and makes sure he doesn't get sucked into the endless soulless spiral of academic rigor at an elite private high school

basically: shirabu's consistently on the path to burnout and kawanishi is there to keep the flames alive

(hey that would be a good fic summary)

maybe that's another thing, then, that helps kawanishi and suna become friends. because suna's been there. suna knows, sometimes, that feeling of imposter syndrome. feeling like you don't belong. feeling like you have to prove your worth, your entire existence, just to be able to stay in a place you love, even if that place might not love you back.

and kawanishi knows shirabu would rather shove a volleyball down his throat than open up about the bad days and the bad feelings, so he picks suna's brain instead to find out how he can help. what he can do. what shirabu might be thinking and how kawanishi can fix it

you can't, suna tells him, you can't fix something like this. he has to learn to live with it. to grow around it. to believe in something better until it's the only thing he believes in. but having people you care about care about you helps. it did for me.

and so kawanishi is there to draw the blanket around shirabu's shoulders, and he's there to put snacks on shirabu's desk, and he's there to flip shirabu's textbook close when the clock hits eleven they need to sleep, and he cares for shirabu in all the ways shirabu can't care for himself and hopes that it's enough

"Rintarou." You call your husbands name.

"Yes, dear." He responds almost immediately.

"If you sarcastically say 'yes dear' one more time, so help me god, you're sleeping on the couch." You threaten and sigh.

You hear his footsteps enter the kitchen, a sly smile on his face, one that knows what he's already done to annoy you.

"Please tell me why there's an empty carton in the fridge." You take out the evidence to show him.

"Wasn't me, honey." That same stupid smile is still etched on his face, he knows it too, it drives you mad.

"Rintarou, I won't tell you again to throw away the things you finish! I'm not your mom, I won't clean up after you all day. I- Rin, are you even listening?!" You notice him eyeing you up and down, licking his lips.

He repeats exactly what you told him just mere seconds ago.

"Hearing is not the same as listening." You rub your temple, the other hand shot down to caress your swollen belly, there's only a few months left before you due date and you husband was becoming more annoying by the second.

"I promise to clean up after myself, okay grumpy?" He attempts to bring you closer to him by grabbing your arm gently.

"No, Rin. You're pissing me off. You're not funny." You snatch your arm back and cross it above your belly.

"That's not what you said when we were dating, yeah?" His cheeks hurt from smiling so much these last few minutes.

"I was just trying to make you feel manly, asshole." You rolled your eyes, your appetite to eat whatever it was is gone since your lovely husband finished it all.

"Hey, you mad at me, pretty? I'm sorry, I'll throw my things away when I'm finished okay?" He moves in front of you, finding it easy because you're starting to wobble when you walk and he thinks it's the most hilarious thing ever.

"I was really looking forward to eating my cereal." Your eyes tear up, "You are annoying me." You sniffle and he brings you into his chest, caressing your head, swaying the two of you back and forth.

"I'm sorry, would it make you feel better if I told you the cereal wasn't even that good?" He bats his eyelashes.

"Fuck you, Rin." You say and break from his hug.

"I'm kidding, babe! I'll go to the store right now." He follows after you. "I didn't mean to make you cry." You enter the bedroom, sitting on your side, pouting.

"Well you did." You wipe your eyes. "You know I'm more sensitive now."

"I know, I just love your reactions, sweetheart. They're adorable." He pinches your cheek, in attempt to make you feel better. "Come 'ere." He opens his arms to you, you let your head rest on his shoulder and his hand immediately flies to your stomach. "Would you like to come to the store with me?"

You hesitate for a moment before answering, "Fine." You're still pouting, he leans over and kisses your lips multiple times, showing how sorry he is.

"Go get dressed, pretty, 'm waitin' on 'ya." He gives you one last final kiss, this one lingered for a moment.

"Okay." You smile happily and practically skip to your closet. You stand there for a few, not sure on what to wear. "Rin, can you come here for a sec?" You call out.

He shuffles inside the closet, raising his eyebrows as if asking, 'what?'.

"Should I wear this?" You motion to your chosen outfit. "Or is it too cold? Maybe I should-"

"It doesn't matter if I'm going to be taking it off anyways." He shrugs, giving you a smirk.

"Rin- I," You pause, remembering he just wants a reaction from you. "You're not even getting laid tonight, I can tell you that." You rolled your eyes.

"Oh?" He questions, eyeing you seductively, "We'll see about that, won't we? Don't forget about last night, hun." He winks and walks out.

"Damn you, Rin." You mutter, opting to wear a flow skirt and a shirt that showed off just enough cleavage to torture him. "'M ready." You walk out, just as you wanted his eyebrows raised, he lets out a whistle.

"All this for me?" He stands to most likely ogle you closer.

"No. Let's go I'm starting to get hungry." You grab your purse and he quickly followed you out the door.

He calls your name and when you turn to face him, he cups your cheeks and gives you a sloppy kiss. "You look beautiful, babe." He eyes your cleavage.

"Rin, quit being horny." You smack his arm, he watches your boobs jiggle from the action. "Rin!" You attempt to turn his face away from you.

"What?" He whined. "How dare you leave the house looking so hot, and you won't even let me touch." He begins to reverse the car.

"Serves you right for making me cry." You huff. He groans and lets his large hand find it's place on your thigh. Surprisingly he didn't try anything to annoy you, letting you rest your eyes momentarily before he stopped the car once he parked.

"We're here, honey." He lightly taps you awake, he can be so sweet sometimes. "How was your nap, honeybuns." He pinches your cheek. Other times he can be so annoying.

"Rin." You groan. "Lets hurry it up." You say and he quickly goes to your side of the door, helping you down from his car.

"Anything for you." He kisses your forehead and leads you inside, grabbing the cart and happily pushing it so you could focus on what was really needed.

You both strolled around, adding things to the cart that was needed for your pantry. Rintarou eased up on his teasing once you got inside, he'd been abnormally quiet, not that you were exactly complaining, it was just a little odd.

"Do you think this is it?" You stop after grabbing some bread and tossing it into the cart. "I don't think we need anything else."

"Hmm I think we're done here." He yawns. "I'm taking a nap when we get home." He says as the two of you stand in line.

He's hunched over the cart, "Does your back hurt? Is the old age getting to you, Rinnie?" You comb through his hair.

He clicks his tongue, "We're the same age, babe."

"Yeah, but my strong husband plays volleyball almost every day. Does he need a massage?" You flutter your eyes at him, making him bite the inside of his cheek to withhold a smile.

"Matter of fact, I do need one." He guides you by your hips to move behind the cart, giving your ass a small squeeze, "Let me do the work, you sit there and look pretty, yeah?" He pecks your forehead.

"Technically I'm standing, but thanks Rin!" You smile at him, making him shake his head while chuckling. As much as he loved to bother you, he'd never let you lift a finger, especially groceries.

He always says he can make it in one trip, but you banned the idea after he dropped one of the bags and broke the pickle jar. You cried for over an hour because you were really craving them.

You smile at the memory as he loaded up the trunk, you sat in the passenger seat humming the current song playing on the radio.

"It's fucking hot out." He settles into his seat, cranking up the ac.

"You're wearing a black shirt too." You note.

He hums and brings you closer to him to steal a few pecks. If it were up to him you'd be making out in the parking lot, but a car honked at him to get out of his spot because he was taking so long.

"Rin." You say trying to break away from him. "People are waiting."

"Let them wait, I'm trying to make up for the whole cereal incident." He bites your bottom lip and finally released you. "I like that flavor of lipgloss, by the way." He winks at you while he backs out.

"You're so annoying, Rin." You smile and look off to the side, he still never failed to give you butterflies. He kisses your hand that was intertwined with his.

"Time to make one trip, babe!" He quickly got out of the car so he wouldn't hear your protests. You roll your eyes and slowly get out.

"The last time you did that it did not end well." You warn.

"It'll work this time. Promise." He yells. "Open the door for me, please."

You grabbed his keys from his pocket and waddled over to the front door, when you turn back you see he's already halfway to you. His arms flexing deliciously underneath the warm sun.

A small sweat was breaking out on his forehead, he was so handsome.

"Ya gonna keep looking at me like that, doll?" He sets the groceries down as you shut the door.

"Hm, yeah." You shamelessly ogle him. "You're so handsome, Rin." You play with his hair and give a small tug, immediately his lips are on yours, he wastes no time in shoving his tongue into your mouth. You push him back a little dazed from how passionate he was. "'M hungry." You give him one last peck and leave him standing.

"You drive me crazy." He chuckles. "You still owe me that massage, I won't let you forget it." He follows you into the kitchen, watching as you make your cereal that you've been craving.

"Oh I won't." You wink at him, leaving him flustered in the kitchen.
