Kazuko Hoshino (Concept art)

I was very reluctant to reveal this character for various reasons. It took a long time for me to create “Kazuko Hoshino”.

Originally, she was just going to be a senior student from high school and barely turning to the side of villains in her 1st design and she looked similar to Ayano Aishi from Yandere Simulator.

I always put Kazuko as a villain of her quirk being healing, I was just having trouble seeing what she would look like.

This is where her 2nd design came in, she is Biracial. Meaning she is half Japanese Half Black, her mother “Kokoro” was Japanese, and her father was African American “Marcel”.

One of the reasons I was reluctant to show off Kazuko was because of her 2nd design. I didn’t know if I could write and draw a black or Biracial character since I am not black but Hispanic.

However, after doing some research on how black people were portrayed in various cartoon shows.

I learn I can write and draw characters like Kazuko, I don’t need to know how to write a black person, Asian, or a biracial character she just happens to be black with Japanese descendants.

There are also not a lot of colored people in anime, only a few have black anime characters with Hispanic Characters.

(Most of cases the characters look racist)

Most anime only has Japanese and White American characters, but the Americans are very few.

So, I made a character of Black Representation, even though she is just an OC and not canon to my hero academia.

Kazuko is still a character though and a person who deals with her own problems like any other person in real life.

Kazuko is a major villain in LOV and a love interest of Tomura Shigaraki.

Kazuko is also the Villain version of Recovery girl and Momo Yaoyorozu.

Originally, I wanted her to be a villain version of Ochako Uraraka, but Himiko Toga already is the Villain version of Ochako.

Kazuko Hoshino may be a healer, but she can fight with her combat skills, accelerated perception, Enhanced Combat, Combat Specialism, Training Regimen, and Empathy.

Kazuko is the type of anime character who eats a lot without gaining weight or getting ill.

It’s called “Super Eating” When Kazuko eats more and more, she grows more powerful with her healing quirk and her combat abilities.

Despite Kazuko being sweet, kind, smiling and very talkative she wasn’t always like this, in fact, she used to be a totally different person during her high school years.

Kazuko may look pretty and fitting for a hero but that is far from the truth, she takes pleasure in putting heroes in pain.

Much like Tomura’s beliefs, she believes heroes must be punished for the false society they created of “Peace”, “Hope” and so-called “heroes”.

After all, no one came to save her or the family she lost that fateful day.

Kazuko smiles a lot without a care in the world and looks on the bright side of things at least on the surface.

“The people that smile the most are those who are the most in pain”

Kazuko’s origin story began when she was in the 9th grade in, it was a normal day at the mall.

Kazuko was sitting with her older brother and little sister while their parents were buying food.

It all happened so fast, a villain had attacked the mall, and everyone ran in a panic.

Kazuko was running with her family as more screams were heard by the civilians.

Then a pro hero appeared Endeavor, for a moment it was a relief they were saved!

But when Endeavor was supposed to save everyone. He recklessly fought the villain not thinking of the protection of the people in the mall.

While everyone got to escape the mall from crashing down on them, Kazuko and her family weren’t so lucky.

As the mall began to collapse, Kazuko got pushed by her brother right before the ceiling could crash on their family.

Kazuko grunted as she was pushed and heard a loud crash, she screamed in horror as she witnesses her family trapped underneath the crumbling building.

Before the hero didn’t even realize there was a little girl there neither did the villain.

Before the villain could do anything, Endeavor punched the villain down to stall the villain while Kazuko ran as fast as she could to the exit of the mall.

She was just a scared little girl, she cried waterfall tears as she hoped her family was going to be okay.

After what happened Kazuko was waiting for her family outside with everyone reuniting with their family.

when the police and other pro heroes found them, they were dead from the building falling on top of them.

Kazuko was just fifteen, almost about to go to high school, her brother was going to be a pro hero and her poor little sister never got to live her life.

Kazuko was in a state of shock, she couldn’t believe her family was gone not too long ago was her father and mother smiling happily at her and her siblings asking what they wanted to eat.

The police gave Kazuko their condolences before taking her to an orphanage where she would end up living in until she was eighteen.

During the years Kazuko grew up, she hated Endeavor for his reckless behavior.

What kind of a hero doesn’t care about civilian safety?

What kind of hero lets people die and not even look or apologize to an orphan because of his mistakes causing the family’s deaths.

Endeavor never got punished for this even though it was his fault the police wanted to save the hero’s image.

Kazuko became silent, alone, and only focused on herself more than others as she grew up.

She was a healer going to U.A., high school for one of the support programs.

Despite being isolated from everyone, hatred growing in her heart for those who were heroes who didn’t care about people’s safety and alone she still intended school to one day be a proper pro hero.

Kazuko did have conversations with her peers, but she never really talked that much some of them even considered her a friend even if she never talked, she was considerate of others.

Kazuko still believed in that false hope, but she knew the students in the training programs were only in it for fame and not really saving lives.

Kazuko was disgusted by them; they even saw her and the support programs as useless since all they could do was heal but not Kazuko.

Kazuko didn’t want to be useless she didn’t want that mistake to happen again. She dedicated herself to combat training even if the school didn’t allow it for her.

Kazuko went to classes after school to get skillful in various combat skills and after she graduated and soon became a nurse for heroes.

Kazuko moved out of the orphanage that took care of her after graduation and got herself a little apartment when she started to become a pro hero.

Everyone once knew her as “Ariel” ( アリエル ) her hero name was named after the archangel that heals all and punishes those who harm god’s creation.

Kazuko would heal pro heroes for a while at least, she stopped because she was annoyed by their complaining about themselves and just wanted fortune.

They weren’t worried about civilians’ safety or even being a hero, they just wanted to be famous.

Kazuko really did want a pro hero; she wanted her family proud of her from above, but she couldn’t do it when the heroes were so corrupted.

Kazuko knew right then and there this society was corrupted and not worth saving for.

Kazuko ended up quitting after a year and retired from being a pro hero, which shocked her former peers and former mentors.

She was a good student, a good person, and a great healer so many admire her ability.

No one understood why she quit, she was doing a lot of good and getting money as a pro hero.

Money never matters to Kazuko; she knew the other pro heroes just wanted money and thought she had wasted it and could’ve been rich with fame while others thought she wasted her school years just to quit being a hero.

When Kazuko realized the world was corrupted with false heroes, she decided to go on a different path.

Kazuko soon became a villain; at first, she was just healing people, and it didn’t matter if they were good or bad.

Then, Kazuko started taking her anger on the heroes, and then very soon enough it got far enough she started killing them and desiring to torture the pro heroes.

She wasn’t insane and Kazuko knew what she was doing the more she craves the feeling of seeing others in pain the more she made it into a reality.

Kazuko began to enjoy torturing heroes, and she felt free to use her abilities as she saw fit.

Kazuko began to heal people in dark alleys, and it didn’t matter who they were or what they did they needed healing.

Soon, she was starting to get mainly known as “the Healer of Villains” or as another alias “Nurse Cotton” (ナースコットン) due to many, many villains getting healed from her.

That was when she got noticed by LOV, Toga had been admiring Kazuko and so did twice they talk a lot about Nurse cotton which got Tomura Shigaraki’s attention.

Giran had found her in the dark alleys and wanted to recruit her, he knew she is an asset to LOV.

Kazuko agreed to join to see what they had to offer; everyone was very surprised and couldn’t believe this was the killer nurse.

Toga knew right away Kazuko was a villain and was eager to ask her how she killed those heroes as she was gushing around Kazuko.

Twice and Toga had been gushing over Kazuko for weeks before meeting her in person, she was quite popular in the media.

Dabi was curious how Kazuko pulled off the killings, so with everyone so eager to talk to her Kazuko willingly told them and was very chipper about it.

She looked normal, and pretty and talked to the league of villains very sweetly but then again, it’s always the pretty ones who are the most murderous.

When Kazuko met the boss Tomura Shigaraki, he was quite memorized by Kazuko she looks nothing like a villain, and it was hard to believe she killed all those heroes.

Kazuko introduces herself and was very polite which was the first since the other members of LOV had no manners towards Shigaraki.

Shigaraki asked her if she was a healer why is she a villain and how she killed those pro heroes.

Kazuko explained why she become a villain, and how she was a pro hero for only a short time before quitting after she realize how corrupted the heroes really were.

she explained in detail to Shigaraki how she killed the heroes with torture methods and the combat skills she had.

No one expected her to say that she knew how to fight yet her quirk is healing, still, Shigaraki felt they still needed someone useful, and a healer was a good asset to the league.

Everyone tried not to comment on how she looked normal or was beautiful for a villain.

What was even better Kazuko can fight but during that time when she joined LOV, she wasn’t assigned to combat missions yet but as a healer for backup.

Kazuko didn’t really mind, either way, she was very useful rather it was combat or being a nurse.

Kazuko became a loyal member of LOV and healed her comrades; she even healed her boss.

It took a while for Shigaraki to actually trust her for various reasons especially since she promised him, she wouldn’t decay because of his quirk.

Kazuko had proven her loyalty to the league by declining Overhaul’s offer to “help” her achieve her goals.

Even if Shie was the last man she wouldn’t do that, she had everything she needed.

She was glad she chose to stay but she wished Magne didn’t have to die, she was one of the friends she made in the League.

Kazuko made a burial after that event and toga helped since Magne was like a big sister not only to her but to the League as well.

Soon, Kazuko began to worry about her boss’s health, and when she would ask what was wrong.

Shigaraki had built a wall for so long that what he said sounded rude, he did appreciate someone was worried for him, but he didn’t want Kazuko to ask ridiculous questions.

She understood and knew he was just not used to someone worrying about him, especially his health issues.

It took a while for Shigaraki to crumble those walls down to let Kazuko in, soon they were talking more than just about the league.

Kazuko had to heal his neck numerous times and gave him some cream to stop the itching, hoping he would actually put it on.

“Baby steps, baby steps Kazuko” is what she would say to herself since Shigaraki wasn’t ready to put cream on his face since it was dry for a long time since childhood.

Later on, Kazuko and Tomura would get close just like Deku and Ochako.

As Kazuko got closer to Tomura, she played games with him and eventually got him to go out and have a few “Dates” to just go out to eat.

Tomura was the first to know Kazuko loves to eat a lot and her healing quirk gets stronger the more she eats.

Kazuko confessed to Shigaraki that she admires him for standing up for his beliefs despite the world’s corruption and thinks he’s an amazing person which causes him to turn away and hide his red face.

Despite Tomura being very distant while Kazuko is all bubbly, cute, and very talkative, they have a good relationship.

They had a good friendship, Kazuko was always there when Shigaraki needed to talk to someone, play video games with him, or just hang out because she wanted to.

To Shigaraki’s surprise, Kazuko did enjoy spending time with him, and he stuttered “Whatever...I-I enjoy spending time with you too...” he would say quietly.

Kazuko would always give him good advice and encourage him to do more for himself and the league.

As for Kazuko and Tomura, they started to develop feelings for each other, but Tomura didn’t know how to confess these feelings and both of them felt the league was more important than feelings at least for now...

Soon after, Twice’s death she was so calm, she barely showed any emotion and only focus on the mission.

Kazuko told everyone it would be alright and to just focus on the mission despite toga snapping on the battlefield.

But Kazuko was anything but calm, as she made a burial for Twice, gathering flowers for him and food.

Toga had asked how she can stay so calm after Twice died in front of them if she felt any rage towards those heroes like she did.

But then she heard sniffles coming from Kazuko and turned to toga with waterfall tears rolling down her cheeks.

“Of course, I do. What’s done is done and we can only honor his memory, I miss him, but he wouldn’t want us to cry but to move forward and take down the heroes.”

Kazuko said, she was sad, angry, and wanted revenge just like Toga and Dabi, but she kept her emotions hidden and tried not to show any weakness.

Before she kept her emotions in check so she wouldn’t seem weak to others since that was all she was weak.

She couldn’t save her family, protect those in need, and couldn’t save her friends.

Ever since she joined the league she was finally opening up about her emotions, feelings, and her story to tell.

Kazuko was finally able to show her true self without being judged, ridiculed, or criticized for who she is.

"Eventually . . ." Chapter One - "Meeting The Villains"

Warnings for Ch. 1: Discussion of villainous acts, Mention of canibaliam, Mention of murder, Trauma, Not proof read

We start our story at the front door of one of the worlds most dangerous Villains, "Blood Riot". Most known for killing and eating people, she manages to keep herself well hidden. Goddess knows what might happen if she doesn't, with all the cops and Pro Heros.

Izuku Midoriya is a careful person. Phaser had finally tracked this specific Villain down for the upcoming mission. He had dug up their past. He was confident that they couldn't refuse his offer. "Hopefully this will be quick. I don't want to be away too long" Izuku thought to himself. As he approached the door, Putting one of his masks on. And knocked politely. He waited. After a while he heard footsteps he prepared himself. He had dealt with other villains so he thought he knew what to expect. What he did NOT expect was a Girl around his age opening the door and looking at him suspiciously! I swear if phaser gave me the wrong address. He recognized her from the photos he's been looking through as Miss Kirishima. One of my prime suspects for Blood riot's Identity. So I suppose I can interrogate her.

Ejina slowly looks this . . . Broccoli Boy up and down, skeptical about what he may be there for. "Excuse me," the boy starts, his vice is anything but intimidating. "I happen to be looking for a 'Blood Riot', ring any bells?"

Ejina narrows her eyes slightly. Was he working for the heros? was it possible that- Hold on, Eji, don't think like that. lets see what he has to say.

" . . . Why would you be looking for her . . .?" she asks slowly.

Deku fixes his tie before saying in a calming tone voice “strictly business reasons. I wish to speak with them about a matter of great impotence. So I ask you if they might be located here?”

"So serious . . ." Ejina sighs, barely stopping herself from groaning like a school boy who just found out there's a suprise quiz on something he didn't study for. Ejina was Not, in any way, a serious person. But she could put on the mask, for now. ". . . . Do you really want to see her . . .?" even she's suprized about how dark her voice grows.

To her (not) suprise, his own voice gains a slight chill to it as he responds “If I didn't want to see her then I wouldn't have risked going out in public Would I?” Damn. Fair though, I suppose . . .

takes a deep breath before walking back into the house, leaving the door open, inside is dark, and he isn't able to see where she went, but her voice says “come in.”

As the door opens to reveal the darkness Deku fidgets with his bracelet under his suit sleeve. Even if this was a trap I could make it out ok. And had no idea of my arrival. So it should be safe for me. He glances at his watch then slowly walks through the door with his mask still on. After all, it was more threatening than his actual face.

Ejina closes the door behind him, before walking past him into the darkness, her wings closing tightly around herself. She pretends he's not there now, carefully going to her living room so she could chat with this fellow villain.

He follows closely behind her. Keeping pace with her. Well if things go south I still have all of that blackmail. She’ll have no choice but to help me. I’ve already won this battle. He smiles under his mask.

Eventually, Ejina turns on a set of lights, and a living room seems to suddenly appear from the darkness, she sits down in a Lazy Boy chair, looking at Deku. "Have a seat, if you wish" she gestures to a couch, she sits up straight. "You wanted to speak with me . . . on 'Business', correct?"

“Thank you but I would prefer to stand for now. Now just to be perfectly clear. You are Blood Riot, yes?” He tilts his head sideways as he asks the question.

“I am . . .” she leans forward onto her hand, not seeming concerned or worried. In fact, she looked rather calm, relaxed. Yeah, Don't let him see your nerves.

Deku starts to pace back and forth looking down in thought. “You know your not an easy person to find?" She smirks softly, That means I'm doing good on that front. "It took me a bit but I found you in the end. I require your. . . . set of skills." My set of skills? Killing and eating people? guitar? flying . . .? "For a mission I plan on doing.”

“Oh-?” she tilts her head, a ghost of a smile still on her face, her wings relax a bit. This guy seems so dull . . . . I wonder . . . “May I ask what this mission may be?”

Gotcha “I Need to procure an object of great importance. But the place its located is . . . extremely risky. To say the least.” Risky huh? how bad could it possibly be?

“I see . . .” she looks at her ceiling, sighing a bit. “What is this, ‘extremely risky’ place you speak of?” its very apparent she's tired of talking so formally. She's . . . . never liked it . . .

“To be precise. A Bank. So here’s the deal. You provide protection for one of my agents while they make sure nobody knows we were even there. And you can take whatever you want when were in the vault. It where A significant amount of “Pro heroes” Keep there mostly ill earned wealth. So there will be no shortage of money to composite you for your involvement. All I want is something stored there.” . . . well, I never signed up as a body guard. however. this boy intrigues me.

She looks at him, and her seriousness finally falls away. “Sure, man. Its been a while sense I worked with someone but it could get interesting.” she stands up, stretching herself and her wings, taking a deep breath.

“Well unfortunately for yo-” He freezes. “Wait, you agreed? Just like that?”

“Yeah . . .?” she tilts her head, “might as well, I don't talk to many people anymore anyway.” she pauses, Hold on- wait- “now- what’s unfortunate for me?”

He pauses to compose himself. “Nothing. I just didn't expect you to agree so . . . fast.”

“What do you mean, broccoli boy?” she raises an eyebrow, her eyes narrowing slightly.

“I Said I meant Nothing Riot. Do you have hearing problems?” He crosses his arms.

She huffs slightly, her tail flicking. “You seem so sure.” she sighs, “alright, whatever. Are we leaving now or was this a kinda- go early so you have more time thing . . .?” she tilts her head.

ultraviolet pt. 9 - BAKUGOU

A descendant of a legendary quirk longs to separate herself from her family name, but first she'll have to confront villains, ghosts from the past, and her growing attraction for Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight.

After the attack, U.A gave the students the following two days off to rest and recover from their traumatic ordeal. Their first day back, Sana was horrified by the state of their homeroom teacher. Mr. Aizawa was wrapped head to toe in gauze, his eyes mere slits, with both of his arms in casts.

He looks like a freshly dead mummy.

She applauded his badassery and dedication, but after hearing from the others how serious his injuries were, she'd assumed (like a normal person) that the Pro Hero would at least be on bed leave for a few days. Considering how sleep deprived he seemed all the time, she thought he'd be thrilled. Apparently not.

He reminded them that the world famous U.A Sports Festival was drawing closer, and after recent events, all eyes would be on them. But no pressure, right? She balanced her chin on her fist.

Classes resumed like normal, as though USJ never happened. It wasn't until the final bell rang that things got, well, strange. Students from all grades and classes swarmed their classroom door, blocking them in. Shinso made a dramatic appearance, where he proceeded to declare war on their class and challenge the entire Hero Course for a spot. He'd made his intentions of joining the hero course clear very early into their friendship.

From how her classmates had described the entrance exam, people with quirks like Shinso's were doomed from the start. He never stood a chance making it into the Hero Course... until now.

He was determined to get noticed this time around, and Sana was willing to help him reach his goal however she could. She gave him tips to improve his training regimen and offered to spar with him whenever he wanted. The two had lunch together at his usual spot two or three times a week, and spent the majority of it exchanging memes and gushing over cute cat videos. Shinso was funny in a dry, sarcastic way that she appreciated. He was easy to talk to and his laid back attitude put her at ease.

He wasn't ready to join her at her table just yet, but she always kept a seat open just in case.

After finishing her homework, showering, and eating dinner, Sana set her grand plan in motion. Stretching out across her bed on her stomach, with her phone in one hand and a piece of paper in the other, she started typing.

Sana smirked down at the screen as the message bubbles danced, anticipating his reply. She giggled quietly to herself, picturing him stomping around his room throwing a fit. She could practically hear his demonic screeching through the device.

Irritating Bakugou brought her a special type of joy. The only other experiences that could compare were rebelling against her father, or cracking Shoto's mask of indifference. The ability to provoke such intense emotions in someone was addictive.

It took a few minutes for the boy to respond.

The blonde tossed his phone across the room, screaming curses at the unknown number.

"Shut up, ya damn brat!" His mother's loud voice scolded him from downstairs. "Isn't it past your bedtime?!"

Bakugou walked with purpose towards Yoshida Park. He was familiar with it, having spent most of his childhood exploring the grounds with his followers. It was a short walk, but he'd had all night to plan. The unknown number had disrupted his sleep schedule after all.

First, he'd go to the park and murder whatever extra had been unlucky enough to mess with him. Then, on his way back, he'd pay Midoriya a special visit.

He had a list of suspects he'd been going back and forth on. First on the list was Shitty Hair, but Bakugou quickly realized it couldn't have been the spiky-haired boy. The redhead was putting in a lot of effort to befriend him—even more so after their team up during USJ—but the boy was far too shy. Second and third on his list were Dunce Face and Scotch Tape. They shared one brain cell between them, and both were confident enough to say such provocative things, but not so dumb that they'd ask to meet him face to face afterwards.

They had to know it would only end in bloodshed... theirs to be exact.

That left Raccoon Eyes or Flashlight. He hadn't interacted much with the pink-skinned girl, only in group settings, and even then, she'd barely stop to acknowledge him before getting into shit with Dunce Face or her "wifey."

One by one he marked names off until only one dumbass remained.

He stopped at the entrance of the park, spotting said girl leaning against a tree. Thick lashes fanned out across her cheekbones, her arms loosely crossed. A red and white gym bag was slung over her shoulder. She wore black leggings paired with a cherry red sports jacket, her hair held back by her signature ribbon. Bakugou himself sported his usual baggy black sweatpants and low cut black tank.

Her eyes fluttered open, the jewel-like irises sparkling in the morning sun. "Right on time." She pushed off of the tree. "Have you stretched?"

"I'm not here to train." He glowered down at her, their faces inches apart. Sana's expression remained neutral, but her amusement was obvious in the curve of her lips. "I'm here to kick your ass-"

"Again with the ass thing," Sana tutted, shaking her head in disapproval. "Is that all you can think about?"

"Shut the fu-"

"Language, asshole." she hissed, smacking his arm as a family of four walked by them. Sana gave him a coy smile. "There are children present."

Bakugou was seconds away from blowing a fuse, crackling sounds filling the air as his palms smoked. "Come on," she slid her hand down his arm with a soft, feather-like touch to grab his wrist. "Let's get started."

Bakugou muttered threats and curses under his breath, but continued to follow her to a secluded area with a dense tree line. A few feet ahead, the trees parted to reveal a decent sized clearing. "How did you get that damn nerd to give you my number?" The blonde grumbled, ripping his arm from her grip.

"Oh, that?" She shrugged. "I bribed him with a limited edition All Might collectible." She remembered how flushed the greenette became after she cornered him after class the other day. He'd been a sweaty, stuttering mess until she'd unzipped her backpack and shown him what she'd hidden inside. Seeing Bakugou's pissed off face now, it was definitely worth all the yen.

"... which one."

Sana blinked. His gruff voice was so quiet that she nearly didn't catch the words. The boisterous blonde she'd come to know was now scowling passionately at a tree, but his mouth was... is he pouting?!

Her lips split into a chesshire grin. "My, my. Is the mighty Bakugou secretly a fanboy?"

His brows furrowed even further at the teasing. "Do you ever shut the hell up?" His hair seemed to puff up even more in anger. Cute. "I'm nothing like that nerd!"

"Aren't you the nerdy one, though?" Sana tapped her chin with her pointer finger, eyes rolled upwards as she pretended to think. "I'm pretty sure you scored higher than him on last week's test."

She smirked in delight as Bakugou's body began to vibrate in anger, his nostrils flaring.

She stretched her body, warming up her muscles in preparation for what was probably going to be one of the hardest training sessions of her life. Bakugou wasn't the type to do anything without giving it his all. It was as admirable as it was daunting. She rolled her shoulders back, her neck popping with a satisfying crack. "Ready?"

The blonde smirked, his hands sparking to life. "I'm gonna enjoy this."

Fighting Bakugou proved to be even more of a challenge than she'd anticipated. He was strong and fast, every movement well thought out and well executed. He was also relentless, refusing to give her any time to recover or even think. It was purely instinctive, forcing her to rely on her reflexes. She was suddenly grateful for the decade of combat training Endeavor had instilled in every fiber of her being.

It was different, to say the least.

She was so used to going up against Shoto. Back when they were still talking, she'd been able to anticipate his movements with one look. Maybe that was part of the problem. Were they so intune with each other that there was no longer room for improvement? Had they reached a point in their training where they were unable to learn from each other going forward?

Sana groaned, returning to the problem at hand. She threw the blonde a dirty look for the particularly hard kick he'd just delivered to her side. He huffed a laugh, his lips parted in a crooked smile. "Not so cocky now, huh?"

"That's funny coming from you." She lunged, finally landing a hit to his jaw. They'd been at it for hours now, and Bakugou showed no sign of stopping anytime soon. There was no way he wasn't as exhausted as she was, but she knew he'd rather die than admit to such a thing. As if being human was equivalent to him being weak.

After another half hour of this, she finally gave up.

"Okay, okay." Sana backed away, holding her palms up in surrender. He stopped mid punch, his eyes narrowed. "Let's take a break."

He clicked his tongue, watching as she approached the gym bag she'd abandoned in the shade, walking back to him and dropping it at his feet. The pastel teen crouched to unzip the bag, removing two towels, some protein bars, and two water bottles. He caught the towel she tossed him with ease, swiping the fabric across his face and jaw. She plopped down on the ground, motioning for him to do the same. With an annoyed grunt, he complied, snatching the water and snack out of her hands.

She shook her head in amusement, knowing he wasn't nearly as frustrated as he pretended to be. "So dramatic," she muttered under her breath.

Surprisingly, the silence between them wasn't uncomfortable. It was actually pretty nice. She could hear the small sounds of nature around them: the low buzz of insects and the soft rustling of tree branches above their heads. It was something she'd never associated with Bakugou before...

Peaceful.

After practically inhaling their protein bars, the two teens laid down on their backs in the grass. The sky had darkened to a dark blue, a few stars already visible.

Sana turned her head to peek at the boy next to her. Both of their chests were heaving lightly, their skin dewy with sweat. He had his arms folded behind his head with his eyes closed. As if feeling her gaze, he cracked one eye open and grimaced.

"What're you staring at?" Even in the limited light, she could've sworn his cheeks were now dusted in a rosy hue.

"Nothing," she averted her gaze, her own face burning under his scrutiny. "It's just... I'm glad you stayed." Sana admitted softly. Never in her life had she felt so bashful. It took everything in her not to squirm uncomfortably as she waited for him to say something. Anything. Bakugou scoffed, his eyes hooded as he watched the sky slowly darken. Sana joined him in stargazing. After a few minutes, the blonde cleared his throat.

"I guess it wasn't a complete waste of time."

Sana snickered. "That was really hard for you to admit, wasn't it?" A tch was his only response, but in the limited light, it almost looked like he was smiling. They stayed like that until the sky glittered with stars, like diamonds against midnight velvet. The two teens climbed to their feet, dusting dirt and grass off of their clothes. Sana called out just as Bakugou made to leave.

"Wait." The blonde turned to glance over his shoulder. The solar-powered girl riffled through her gym bag before pulling out a medium-sized package. "Here," she held it out for him to take. Bakugou removed his hand from his pocket and took the box. Flipping it around, his eyes widened. His jaw loosened in shock.

"The hell...?"

Sana rubbed her neck, avoiding looking directly at the blonde. "I figured I owed you for coming down here." She peeked at him from beneath her lashes. "You don't have that one, right?"

Bakugou clutched the box containing the limited edition Silver Age All Might figurine tightly. He remembered demanding his parents for one as a child. How they'd waited in line outside the store for hours, only for the shelves to be completely empty once they made it inside. How every store they went to was the same: the toy having sold out nationwide just hours after being released.

But here one was, after a decade of searching, in perfect condition... right in the palm of his hand.

"Bakugou?"

He slowly lifted his head, vermillion eyes clashing with dark pink. A million questions raced through his mind. How had she known?

Sana bit her lip to contain her giddiness. She inched closer to him until there was hardly any space left between them. She inhaled the sweet scent of caramel and cologne that always clung to him. "Your number isn't the only thing Midoriya told me," she lifted herself on the balls of her feet, her breath hitting his cheek. "Katsuki."

They met up the next day, and the day after, until it became almost routine for them. They'd meet at Yoshida Park, or make the trip together straight after school if neither had plans. It came as a surprise to them both how well they got along when no one else was around. Sure, they still had the occasional spat, but it was mostly playful bickering and teasing to rile the other up. They both had a dark sense of humor, an almost unhealthy competitive streak, and a punch first, ask questions later approach to situations.

One afternoon, Bakugou had to leave earlier than usual. He'd grumbled something about 'dinner with the old hag' before storming off. Sana figured his grandparents were in town or something and decided to take off early too.

She texted Mina, asking her if she was free to hang out. The pinkette responded to her message at lightning speed, sending her the address of a cute new bakery she'd been dying to try. The walk took fifteen minutes or so. She spotted Mina waiting outside, the pink-skinned girl squealing as soon she noticed her. They shared a hug before entering the shop, quickly ordering drinks and a few desserts to share. Mina led her over to a table by the window, her hands clasped under her chin.

"So," she narrowed her black and yellow eyes suspiciously. "Where's your shadow?"

"My what?" Sana leaned forward. Mina followed suit, lowering her voice as if her next words were top secret.

"Bakugou, duh."

"What?" Sana fell back in her chair with a laugh.

Mina waved her hand around dismissively. "You know what I mean. Wherever you are, he's bound to show up sooner or later." The waiter appeared with their order, interrupting the energetic girl before she could go on.

Sana reflected on her friend's words as she sipped on her bubble tea. It was true that Bakugou always seemed to be around whenever she needed him. He'd helped her during the stampede in the halls, as well as telling off that reporter for her. He'd been by her side before the class was separated by the warp villain. While she'd been recovering after the USJ attack, Shoto had briefly mentioned something about her helping Bakugou, though she didn't remember much. The blonde hadn't said a word to her about it, and she'd been too preoccupied with not thinking about USJ.

"I guess I..." she answered softly. "I hadn't noticed."

Mina paused mid-sentence, having already moved onto another topic. Some third year gossip she'd heard from Hagakure, who'd overheard some upperclassman whispering about it during break.

She'd noticed how her friend had been pushing herself harder since the villain attack. How busy she was with training. Mina hadn't been there with her when she was attacked, but she'd seen the damage inflicted on the villains. Afterwards, Kirishima mentioned how strange Sana had acted right before the teachers' arrival. "You'd tell me, right?" Mina pressed, her pretty face troubled. "If something was wrong?"

It was odd hearing the bright, cheerful girl suddenly sound so serious. It didn't fit her character at all. Sana forced a radiant smile, wanting any doubts about her or their friendship to disappear. She trusted Mina, she really did, but she didn't want to burden her with her problems, especially when she was still trying to figure them out herself.

"Of course," Sana assured her. "We're best friends after all."

A scarred, yet handsome face came to mind. She wondered if it was normal for best friends to hide things from each other. In Recovery Girl's office, Shoto had implied that she'd betrayed him in some way. If only she knew what the hell he was talking about.

Summary: Bakugou managed to avoid the attack made by Jinx, but will he be able to change her heart?

★☽A/N: WE DOING IT AGAIN!! I honestly love making this, I haven't had this much fun writing something in a long time!! I'm actually considering making a series (With my own BNHA oc) and will be posting it on Wattpad and maybe Tumblr! Enough of this, let's get into it! ENJOY!!!!

Y/N’s quirk: Arcanna (Allows the user to create crystal-like balls that can be used to boost the user’s stats, power up weapons (Like guns), and can be used as explosives when crushed.)

BANG!!!!!

Wait.. How? Bakugou was still alive..

Bakugou managed to dodge the shot but caused himself to fall down on his side, still tied onto the chair. “Y/N, YOU REALLY NEED HELP!” Bakugou angrily said. “WHY CAN’T YOU JUST– DIE?!” Y/N cried, her face was twisted with anger and sadness. She has been tormented by the memories, almost becoming deaf, almost dying from drowning and from his Quirk, and she hated it. Her breakdown was worse this time. She was yelling, trashing her surroundings while Bakugou tried his best to get out of his restraints. “Why can’t you leave me alone? I hate you! Stop! Shut up!!�� She said to herself, her hands gripping her hair hard.

Bakugou managed to get out of the restraints and quickly walked towards Y/N. “Y/N, calm down.” He said in a stern voice, almost demanding. Y/N just looked at him with her E/C eyes that glowed a pink glow. “Leave me ALONE!” She screamed, pushing him away.

“Y/N, listen to me. I know I haven’t been the nicest to you in the past but what I know, I can change. Someone showed me that I could change to be a better person, a better hero. I hate that I couldn’t mend things with you but this is my chance to mend things with you if you let me help you. You can become the hero you always dreamed of with Deku.” Bakugou softly said, extending both his hands out as he walked slowly towards Jinx who was looking at him with widened eyes, her hands fidgeting.

“I don’t need your pity.” She spat with venom. “I’m not pitying you, I’m trying to help you.” Bakugou replied, getting close to her by the second. “I don’t need anyone’s help. I’m hopeless! I’m a freak case! What makes you think you could fix me?!” Jinx asked, her body was in an unstable, angered, and vulnerable state. She was shaking as she heard the voices messing with her head.

By now, Bakugou was standing close to her, looking straight at her but she was standing on her left side, not noticing Bakugou as she held her head in a tight grip. Bakugou felt guilty, how is that possible? He feels no quilty over bullying Deku but he felt the guilt twist his guts when it came to remembering his torment on Jinx. If he wanted to be a hero, he needed to make some changes. His hands reach towards Jinx’s trying to get her attention. But as his hands reached closer, she turned her head to look at him with frightened eyes as she looked at his hands that were reaching for hers.

She couldn’t help but sob more as she pounced on him, crying hysterically. Bakugou was stunned but soon hugged her back, combing her hair to soothe her. “I don’t think I can fix you.. But I can help you.” Was all Katsuki said.

She lifted her head to look him in the eyes. “Do..Do you think I can be a.. Hero too..?” She asked in soft hiccups. Katsuki had a small smile on and nodded, “Yes.” He answered.

Jinx couldn’t help but feel a sense of relief? Of what? Oh… Relieved that she could change paths, that she could follow her dreams instead of following her nightmares. Relieved that she could make new friends, friends with the same goal.

That all faded away when she saw someone behind Katsuki. Toga, and she looked furious. Furious that one of her close friends in the League was hugging a hero course student, the League’s target no less! She grabbed her knife and swung it towards Bakugou’s back. Jinx’s eyes widened and quickly hugged Katsuki tight which shocked him. What shocked him more was when she quickly turned around, swapping their places when she was stabbed by the thrown knife, its very tip grazing her heart.

“Y/N!” He called out. He was furious, blasting Toga away from them. Katsuki didn’t pull the knife out since it was impaled in her and would only cause her to bleed out if he were to take it out. “Why the fuck would you do that?!” He angrily asked. Y/N just smiled. “A hero would do that… Right?” She asked with a smile. Katsuki couldn’t stop the water from pouring out of his eyes. “...Right.” He grinned.

“Shit- I’m always a jinx so I guess I deserve this fate.” She chuckled. Katsuki couldn’t help but tear up a bit. He quickly grabbed her to try to pick her up to bring her to the hospital– But she stopped him. “You won’t be fast enough.” She protested. “I will be fast enough!” Bakugou protested back, picking her up and ran as fast as he could to bring her to the hospital.

Just as they were a mile away from the hospital, someone yelled from a distance. “IT’S NOT OVER YET!” Bakugou didn’t look but he knew it was a member from the LOV. Shigaraki was furious that he lost his little play toy. Using two of his fingers, he grabbed a crystal that was long ago made by Y/N. He smashed it to the ground, inches away from Y/N and Katsuki.

Bakugou managed to blast away before it exploded, creating a hole in the city’s ground but only caused the knife to slip even deeper by the impact. “You’ll make it.” He promised to the girl who had fallen unconscious, running as fast as he could.

The hospital’s walls were white and clean, the air was fresh, and patients and medical staff crowded the halls and rooms.

In one of the rooms, Katsuki Bakugou held the hands of Y/N L/N who lay unconscious on a hospital bed. He hoped for the best for her.

Slowly, she opened her eyes to the bright light of the hospital room, taking quick glances around the room before her eyes landed on Katsuki’s figure. He felt eyes on him and looked up to see her looking at him. He couldn’t help but show a small smile before hugging her softly.

Jinx was no more… It was just.. Y/N. A soon to be hero.

I can list at least three full animatics for this song for every major fandom I have ever been a part of, and still it's so hard to find them because there are so goddamn many

It's an absolute banger from the absolute King Alan Menken, originally from the pretty underrated Tangled the Series. I've seen animatics for this for like every fandom I can think of, and it deserves it because it slaps and has great vocal performances from Jeremy Jordan and Eden Espinosa.

i'm pretty sure this song is more well known than the show it came from is lol. i looked up "ready as i'll ever be animatic" on youtube just to confirm and counted 20+ of them, and i didn't even finish scrolling. it is a genuinely really good song from a /surprisingly/ good show that imo is super underrated. i definitely would recommend checking it out if you get the opportunity!

it's a fandom song that transcended its fandom and became a hit for twist villains.

The song really fosters creativity with how many animatics can create a darker AU where the usual protagonist (or a close associate) is made to be the antagonist because of injustice suffered and the other characters have to fight against them

I've seen *at least* one animatic of this song in almost every fandom I've looked into

It has a lot of Animaniacs because it is sung by an ensemble cast It is good for demonstrating a lot of different conflicting perspectives of characters for your big dramatic fight and its catchy and I love it

I mean everyone loves a scenario where one of the main cast becomes a villain for tragic reasons and the rest of the characters have to fight them while dealing with the betrayal and attempting to make them see reason

How in the actual hell does a song from a Tangled spinoff series go this spectacularly hard? More to the point, how does it have an animatic/AMV for practically EVERY FANDOM IN EXISTENCE?! Yeah, most people know it from that one Warrior Cats MAP, but there is SO much more. Not to mention the bucketloads of people who used this song for their own OCs, which is always a bonus.

I’ve been searching for weeks now and haven’t been able to find this fic. It was posted either here on Tumblr or over on ao3. It’s a Bakugo x reader or Bakugo x OC. The OC or reader lost her job so her roommate got her a job working a hero helpline? She gets connected with Bakugo and the relationship just grows from there. At one point her apartment is collateral in a fight between an villain, Deku and Bakugo. She’s also a fan of Dynamite (DynaMight?) and wears his merch. The last chapter I remember reading was that she is cornered by a group of men and Bakugo saves her. I know that probably isn’t a lot to go off but if anyone has any ideas that would be amazing!

💀Kitten Deku: Deku has a cat morph quirk and is stuck as a kitten in an alley where pro hero Eraserhead finds him and takes him home, later on he finds out that Izuku is not a cat but a small child

💀Monster Deku: Izuku has a monster quirk and is kidnapped and tortured for years until Eraserhead finds and adopts him! Similar to Kitten Deku but Bakugo is not an asshole in this one 🙂

❤️Rewind: Izuku is a homeless teenager who stumbles upon Eri and gets rewound to age seven! They try to survive on the streets and avoid Overhaul, but Eraserhead finds them and takes them home!

so yesterday when you posted about Class 1-A vs The Curse of Rule 34 i immediately read it and i loved it and so i read a few of their other fics and loved them and so i was wondering if you have any more fic recs that you’d like to share? it could be reader insert, oc or neither tbh i just trust your judgement in fics so i’m sure anything you recommend will be great! (also i love your writing so much i stumbled upon it multiple times in a03 and then tumblr just to realize it was yours before i decided to follow you (i tend to be really picky on who i follow idk why) because i went through your masterlist an read everything and then re-read everything)

I definitely recommend anything in my fic recs tag - the fics I recommend here on tumblr are generally character x reader or character x OC and they range from smutty to fluffy lol.

My guilty pleasure though, and the majority of my fave fics are gen or ship fics!! I actually hardly ever read x reader fic--absolutely no idea why I am this way--but if you're up for some gen or ship fic, I'm happy to rec a couple others.

I'm not sure what you're into at the moment but I will give you some of my faves!!

Don't Ask Don't Tell by Ms_Chunks Bakugou/Uraraka. I probably don’t even need to describe this one since this is the flagship Kacchako fic lol. But Bakugou and Uraraka explore the compatibility of their quirks and create a pair combat style, and fall in love along the way. I fucking love the way the author uses the chemistry of their quirks to parallel the compatibility of their personalities, and Uraraka is such a bad ass in this one ughghgh I love it.

who lives, who dies, who tells your story by aloneintherain Todoroki/Midoriya, though mostly gen. Examines Toshinori’s life post-retirement and the exploits of class 1-A post-graduation, through narrative and social media blurbs. I’ve never read anything that manages to be so bittersweet, so hopeful, and so funny all at once.

Thanks for Saving Me by Esselle Todoroki/Midoriya. This is a pro hero Shouto/quirkless science nerd Deku fic that is one of my all time faves. This is the type of shit my fics wish they were doing. This author is out here peddling the slightly-sugar-daddy-but-also-slightly-a-little-bit-of-a-shit Shouto agenda and it is absolute perfection. I routinely reread for comfort.

Slow to Start (But Quick to Burn) by mousapelli Kirishima/Bakugou. It's an ABO AU where omega Bakugou slowly figures out how to manage his relationship to alpha Kirishima, while Kirishima is predictably kind, patient, and understanding. This fic is totally stuffed full of domesticity--lounging around doing laundry and homework together, baking together, and napping together. Actually my all-time fave comfort fic, I have read this probably a million times.

journey to the past by aloneintherain Gen fic. A time travel fic where the members of Class 1-A go back in time to protect Izuku during the various stages of his life, as villains with a time travel quirk attempt to target the future number one hero while he's still a kid. It's so good and sweet and heartfelt and lovely and the author does an amazing job exploring Izuku's relationship with several of the major characters.

And probably a fic rec closest to the Rule 34 rec would be:

A Demolition Boy & his Cryptid BF by kewltie Bakugou/Midoriya. This is a social media fic similar in style to Class 1-A vs The Curse of Rule 34--it’s a youtuber AU where bkdk are youtubers in different genres, and the internet has a conspiracy theory that they’re together. Another really good send up of fandom and fandom culture, and another one of my faves.
