Chick Flicks that I think the Dorm Leaders have a guilty pleasure for.

Do to that this a different world everything that is popular reference is going to be different! I don't think TWST world has guns or bombs?? So Legally Blonds JFK reference could refer to a King in Port o' Bliss (since Sam is from there, which is a reference to New Orleans). Heather's reference to the Vietnam War could be an overbolt war between kingdoms (obviously for the very very wrong reasons) and JD could've overbolted and Veronica had to kill him.

And I think TWST do have its own fairytale, Enchanted is one of them like "omg what if magic doesn't exists and someone from our world goes there!"

Riddle Rosehearts : Legally Blonde

I feel like he was forced to 'catch up' on pop culture, Cater showed him ( this world's equivalent movie). Out of all the movies he was shown, he liked this one the most.

"So what what's you're favorite part?"

"I loved the fact she proved to everyone that she wasn't a bimbo. Like, seriously? Fashion merchandising is a business school, she wasn't taken seriously because of her greek fraternity? I'm sorry that pink is "too girly" to be taken seriously".

"Malleus, I couldn't tell you but don't be an obsessive dick who tries to have an off and on relationship. That's toxic".

The next couple of days were spent in bliss. While you hated living in a trailer, it was home. Your family was home. You made sure Jug and JB were going to school, especially after getting Jellybean enrolled in school in Riverdale. You had officially moved back home.

You even got your old job back while FP was working with Fred at Andrews Construction. You got back into the habit of helping Jug with his writing.

One day, when you picked up JB from school you went ahead and headed to the high school to pick up Jughead. You stood in front of the school, leaning against the truck with JB sitting in the passenger seat playing with her Nintendo DS.

As you stood there, you kept getting glances from other students as school was let out. You had your hands in your pockets of your jeans as you crossed your legs with Timberlands on your feet. A flannel was over an old band t-shirt, which you were sure was your husbands from when you first started going out. You also had a jean jacket over that to keep you warm.

You then saw Jughead step out of the school with a pretty blonde girl, a raven haired girl, and a red headed boy. You were pretty sure that was Betty and Archie. Betty you vaguely remember from a couple times she played with the boys when they were younger. You and her mother, Alice, did not get along. Alice was ex-serpent which didn’t settle well with you as you had been a serpent since around the same time as FP. You didn’t trust her after she refused to acknowledge the fact that she came from the Southside.

While you were proud of the fact that you were a Serpent.

“Mrs. Jones!” Archie yelled loudly as he rushed to hug you. You laughed as you hugged him back. You always saw him as a second son and he always saw you as a second mother. You were always supportive of anything the kids did.

“Archie! You’ve gotten taller since I last saw you.” You told him as you let him go and patted his shoulder.

“That’s what happens when you get older.” He sassed with a grin on his lips.

You smiled and smacked him on the back of the head, making it jerk forward and him to scrunch his face up in a grimace. You always hit hard.

You then looked over at Jughead and saw him with his arm around Betty’s waist. You raised an eyebrow and Jug rushed to introduce the two girls. “Mom, I don’t know if you remember Betty, but this is Betty Cooper. My girlfriend.” He said kinda slowly as if he didn’t want you to know. “And this is Veronica Lodge.” He introduced the Hispanic girl on the other side of him.

“Hi, Mrs. Jones.” Betty said with a smile on her face. You smiled back and shook her hand that she held out.

“Hi, Betty. Yeah, I remember you. You sometimes played with the boys when you guys were younger. You guys can just call me Y/N. I don’t mind.” You turned to Archie. “I think I’ve told you multiple times.” He shrugged with a innocent smile. You laughed.

“Jughead, you didn’t tell me your mom was a badass.” Veronica said as she reached out her hand to shake.

You smirked and narrowed your eyes at her playfully. “Well that’s because she’s my mom. Although she has been my role model since I was maybe 5.” Jug said with a tone of sarcasm at the begin. “Not that I don’t love seeing you Mom. What are you doing here?”

You grinned. “You want a ride home, Jug?” You asked.

He made an ‘oh’ face as he threw his arm around Betty’s shoulders. “I was gonna walk Betty home.”

You smiled. “I can drive you both. Come on.” You then turned to the other two as Betty and Jug headed to the truck.

I think Betty was trying to be quiet but I heard her as she whispered to Jughead. “She is so much easier to talk to than your dad.” He chuckled.

“You two good?” You asked the other two high schoolers. Wanting to make sure they got home safe.

Veronica answered first. “Yeah, I’m at the Pembroke and it isn’t that far. Bye guys.” She then made her way in the direction of the Pembroke. You then turned to Archie.

“You good, kid?” You asked him.

“Yeah, dad should -” He was cut off as someone spoke up from behind you.

“Y/N?” You both turned around and saw Fred standing there.

“Hey, Fred!” You smiled. You missed your best friend. You had been friends with Fred and FP since you were all kids.

“Hey, dad.” Archie said as he walked over his dad. Fred patted his shoulder as he glanced at Archie before looking back at you. You smiled as you shoved your hands in your pockets of your jacket.

“Y/N. You’re back.” Fred smiled big at you.

“Yeah, hopefully for good.” You told him. He went to say something else but JB decided it would be a good time to honk the truck horn loudly.

Archie and Fred jumped at the loud sound while you set your face in a grimace of agitation.

“MA!!!! HURRY UP!”

You turned around with raised eyebrows. “Forsythia Penelope Jones!” You said sternly.

She shrunk down back into her seat as Jug laughed at her.

You sighed as you turned back to Fred and Archie who were chuckling.

“Well, I guess I’ll see you guys later.” You turned to the truck and went to the driver’s side with a wave over your shoulder.

it’s actually crazy the contrast between veronica’s relationship between jughead vs archie/reggie. the difference in her personality, the way she acts, and the natural progression. jeronica did the most w 1 ep than either relationship with more.

Exactly! And I think that's deliberate? Veronica's looking for depth and comfort with someone, but Reggie and Archie are using a lot of red flag language about her "antics" and "the chase" and frustrated that she has boundaries and a job. Going on one date with someone shouldn't mean a promise that you go all the way with them. Which it seems is the only thing Reggie and Archie want from her. Veronica wants to stay up all night talking about her favorite things with someone who cares, not be ditched on the side of the highway by boys who value a car above her personal safety. She's all soft and breathless and eager with Jughead because he seems like her kindred spirit, they slip into domestic bliss so easily and quickly, and when they try with other people it's just not the same. She felt safe enough to spend multiple nights with Jughead. They didn't even show her first date with Reggie. So where does it all lead?

her lips look soft and plush, slightly shining with the strawberry lip balm she applied a few minutes ago. they probably taste sweet. you hope they taste sweet.

“you listening or are you just gonna stare?” max teases, catching you in the act of admiring her. she likes to act cool about it even though you can very clearly see her cheeks reddening.

“your hair looks really nice.” you compliment her. she sits still as you twirl a strand between your fingers, eventually turning into max resting her head in your lap as you play with the rest of her hair.

“yeah?”

you nod. “mhm, really nice.” she closes her eyes, humming in bliss as your fingers run through her hair, massaging her scalp lightly.

“is it just me or is your hair like more red?”

“what?” max asks, staring at you incredulously. she sits up and mirrors your position on the couch. her head is resting on your shoulder as she laughs.

“is that like not a thing with redheads?” you say, and she can’t tell if you’re being serious or not. “or am i going crazy?”

your girlfriend places her hands on your face as her giggles die down, pecking you on the lips, and then staring into your eyes before she begins laughing again. “jeez, what the hell am i gonna do with you?”

Klancemas ‘22 day 24

It’s their first holiday season away from Earth—or so they assume it’s the holidays back home; Lance actually has no idea what month or day it is on Earth right now. But earlier in the week they landed on a snowy planet, and while it didn’t conjure up any holiday memories for Lance, being from lovely, warm, bright, sunny Cuba (and not a place with cold, unforgiving snow), it had for Pidge. Which in turn made Lance homesick for his own Christmases with his family, celebrating Nochebuena with everyone no matter how far apart they were scattered, with Lance and Veronica at the Garrison and his oldest brother married and moved to the States permanently. Now he’s too far away to even video chat.

Unsurprisingly, it wasn’t difficult to get everyone on board with the idea of throwing a grand holiday celebration. Even Coran and Allura got involved, adding in their Altean solstice festivals to mix. They exchanged presents earlier in the evening, a hologram of a Christmas tree illuminates a corner of the room, and a makeshift menorah resides on the main table for Hunk. Altean music echoes from the Castle-Ship’s comm system. Coran even put up a mistletoe for fun after Lance spent hours educating him on all the Earth holiday traditions.

And so maybe Lance has been standing near the hanging plant, quietly sipping the Altean version of eggnog which contains no eggs but still has that white, creamy rich texture—Lance refuses to ask what it’s made of; he learned his error the hard way last time he sampled another Altean delicacy. As they say, ignorance is bliss. People have passed him by to chat, but no one has looked above them—not that he’d be interested in kissing either Coran or Pidge, so really, it’s a blessing on all accounts. Besides, there’s really only one person he wishes would get caught up in it. But that would take a Christmas miracle.

“Have you been standing here all night?” Lance startles at the sound of Keith’s voice and turns to find him leaning against the doorway, right above the mistletoe.

Think of the Mullet and he shall appear.

“No,” Lance mutters as he takes a sip of his drink, trying to appear as casual as possible. It really is not all a lie; he only started hanging around for the last half hour or so.

“It looks like you’re waiting for someone.”

“I’m just casually standing here.” Lance tilts his head, glaring at Keith. “You’re the one that decided to engage.”

“I did,” Keith easily agrees. Before Lance can even ask what exactly Keith is doing here, Keith braces a hand on the wall beside Lance’s head and leans in to kiss him. Lance almost drops his eggnog. Keith’s lips are incredibly warm and slightly chapped, and after the shock wears off, Lance returns the favor. He snakes his hand into Keith’s hair to keep him close, and Keith wraps an arm around Lance’s waist. If possible, Lance could stay like this forever. He wants to, desperately.

“Merry Christmas, Lance,” Keith whispers close to his lips as he starts to draw back. He smirks when Lance finally opens his eyes.

He leaves Lance flushed and fuming for the rest of the party. Merry Christmas, indeed. He’ll get back at Keith on New Year’s Eve, just you wait.

"Guess who?" Duke said giddily as she covered Veronica's eyes, the taller saying nothing but instead turning around to face Heather.

Duke's eyebrows furrowed as she took nite of the eye bags under Veronica's eyes, and the tired posture she was sporting.

Veronica, though, looked almost shell shocked at Duke's appearance, taking note of the red scrunchie she was wearing on her.

"Where did you find this?" Veronica caressed her callused hand over Duke's hair, the girl in question melted into touch, almost falling into a state of bliss before she reminded herself that there were eyes and ears everywhere in Westerburg.

"Chandler let me borrow it, kind of." Duke admitted somewhat sheepishly. Veronica raised a brow at that, but was distracted as Duke leaned in, oblivious to her affect on the taller girl.

"Does it look good?" Duke asked nervously, her earlier confidence now draining.

Veronica noticed this and placed a soft hand on Duke's face, caressing her thumb over her cheek.

"It looks amazing on you."
