This...was definitely the last thing Veronica expected to see.

And most definitely NEVER wanted to see.

Her three idiots are currently laughing their asses off, as Veronica is the one looking at her mother as if she was the one who forgot to do the dishes earlier this morning, and at her father as if he was the one who smashed the plate.

"Sweetie, we can explain..."

"Explain what? That you two are fucking both my English teacher and my P.E. teacher?!" Veronica really couldn't believe it. "How did this even happen?! Heather, stop laughing!"

"Uh....how old were you when you were in 7th grade?" Her mom sheepishly replied as she rubbed the back of her neck.

"SEVENTH GRADE- MOM, DAD WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?!" Veronica couldn't believe it, how did she never catch them before?!

"Remember when you broke your arm and we had to pick you up? Well, it kind of just escalated from there..." Her dad explained.

Veronica sighed and looked at her teachers. "Unprofessional. Both of you."

"Now, Veronica," Miss Fleming started. "We're still your teachers-"

Veronica cut her off. "And you're doing both of my parents."

"Uh..." The coach fidgeted with the hem of his shirt, which fortunately, hadn't been taken off yet. "We're aren't the only ones..."

Veronica's eyes widened and that was also enough to get the stop light trio to stop laughing.

"What do you mean by that?" Asked Veronica.

"Uh, sweetie...we've kind of...did it with half the staff of your school already..." Said her dad.

"Veronica?" Heather waved a hand in front of her.

More (Movie) Heathers Headcanons but it's their habits!

Heather Chandler:

She always carries a mint tin.

Tucks a strand of hair behind her ear when she's annoyed.

Taps her foot when she gets impatient while waiting.

She always wears a signature piece of jewelry to either flaunt her family's wealth or the fact she's at the top of Westerberg's social hierarchy.

Starts every morning before school with tea.

Organizes every thing she has— her books? They're all alphabetically in order on her bookshelf. Her tea? They're all in order by what type of tea they are.

Heather Duke:

She bites her nails when she's nervous.

Bites her lip when she's thinking about things really deeply.

Twirls her hair when she's anxious.

Hums softly to herself when stressed.

Crosses her arms to her chest when annoyed.

She either sighs or rubs her forehead when she's frustrated with something.

Heather McNamara:

If she has a pen and she's thinking about things more than she usually would, she's going to click it repeatedly.

Taps her fingers on things (usually and specifically desks) when she's distracted by something.

Doodles on her notebooks during class when she's bored.

Always has a pack of gum with her for relaxation or fun.

She doesn't notice it but she intertwines her hands together whenever she's talking to someone.

She taps her foot when she's waiting but unlike Chandler, it's usually when whatever she's waiting for is exciting (a date with Kurt or Ram perhaps).

Veronica Sawyer:

She starts every morning before school with a cup of coffee (Chandler tells her it's the reason why she always looks terrible in the morning).

She's a night owl who stays up late at night writing in her diary.

Carries her diary and pen with her everywhere— Girl's washroom? She still has it with her even there! Needed or not.

She may or may not know about it but she has the tendency to clench her fists when she's annoyed.

She shakes a bit when she's mad.

She walks around in circles - back and forth - when she's thinking about things deeply.

"BETTY!" Veronica yelped, her hand slapping over Betty's mouth. She looked around frantically, as if the Heathers themselves were going to materialize right in front of them and out Veronica in front of the whole school.

Veronica spotted them still talking to each other, several tables away from her, not even noticing her outburst.

Veronica's shoulders sagged in relief, letting go of her grip on Betty's mouth to glare at her.

Betty just chuckled in response, her smut grin on full display.

"What? I'm just telling the truth," She said with a shrug of her shoulders. Veronica pulled up her scarf in an attempt to hide the blush on her cheeks.

Betty's grin only got wider. "You know, you don't have bad taste, they are pretty to look at, but, alas, like a moth to flame, you shouldn't get too close." She said teasingly, but Veronica didn't miss the hint of concern and seriousness behind her words.

Veronica rolled her eyes. "I just think they are attractive, Betts, you can think people are pretty and not have a crush on them."

Betty huffed a laugh. "So you haven't daydreamed about going on fancy ass dates with them at all?"

Veronica's blush increased. She had indeed indulged in the occasional thought about what it would be like to date one of them (or all of them).

"Shut up."

I want to see a scene wherein a character was asked by someone as to why they did this risky ass thing that could possibly endanger them and everyone they love and this risky thing isn't so simple, it's very complex and complicated that no one or only a few selected people know of it and they respond with "Because my best friend was in danger"

And then the person who asked says "You risked...all that. Which is literally everything about yours and your loved ones' safety, for your bEsT fRiEnD?" And the character nods or verbally responds. Then the person who asks just thinks "Oh my gosh, they're in love with their best friend."

Okay no one asked me why the West End revival is the gayest version of Heathers but I wanted to give evidence so here it is.

First off, let's start with the actually canon queerness. I'm talking about New Wave Girl and Stoner Girl. This only turned up in the OG West End cast, so I'll lay it out: during Me Inside Of Me, New Wave puts her arm on Stoner's shoulder, but when Stoner goes to hold her hand she pulls it away:

BUT THEN during the section of MIOM that sings "And you and you and you and youuuuu!" Stoner point to New Wave specifically (just below Ronnie and JD):

Then this happens:

Next, I shall call to the stand the fact that Duke and McNamara's relationship prior to Chandler's death - specifically, defending Duke against Chandler - is a lot more pronounced. As Duke takes Chandler's solo in Candy Store, McNamara is clearly worried and apprehensive about how Chandler will react, even miming telling Duke to get away before she gets hurt.

And later on, rushing to help Duke when she's shoved.

(I know this happens in the Bway version too, but it just hits different here because of how aggressive Chandler was)

Later, during Never Shutting Up Again, McNamara doesn't join in at all. The second Duke steals Veronica's diary, McNamara is by her side, helping her.

And then can be seen standing uncomfortably out of the way for the remainder of the song.

In the Broadway version, she joins and even adds to the lies and rumors during the reprise of Blue, contrasting to this version.

Also during Never Shutting Up Again, Heather Chandler's ghost is clearly angry. She's scowling at Kurt and Ram, throwing her hands up, stalking off, showing very obviously that she's annoyed at what's happening with the lies. She may be a mythic bitch, but they were messing with her Veronica and she was having none of it.

I couldn't get good images of this. I'm not even a big Chansaw shipper, but I found this so cute.

Finally, at the end, Duke takes Veronica's hand and reciprocates her hug.

This is something Broadway Duke doesn't do. Duke was on the edge of becoming the next Chandler, but in that moment, she decided to take whatever chance at normalcy she had and stay with Veronica and McNamara.
