Parable of the Prodigal Son:
Jesus conveyed a profound message about forgiveness, redemption, and the boundless love of God. Let's reframe the narrative within this Christian context, drawing from Luke 15:11-32, and infuse it with additional biblical insights.
A certain man had two sons. The younger son asked for his share of the inheritance and journeyed to a distant land where he squandered his wealth in reckless living. Soon, a severe famine swept through the land, and the young man found himself in dire need.
In his desperation, he sought employment feeding pigs, a job that symbolized his degradation and distance from his upbringing. Yet, in his lowest moment, he came to his senses and decided to return to his father, confessing his sins and seeking forgiveness.
His father, filled with compassion, ran to greet him while he was still far off. Instead of condemnation, the father embraced his wayward son, clothing him in the finest robe and celebrating his return with a lavish feast.
Meanwhile, the older son, who had remained obedient and dutiful, grew resentful at the extravagant welcome given to his brother. But the father, ever merciful, reminded him of the importance of forgiveness and reconciliation.
This parable echoes the essence of divine mercy and the unconditional love of God. Just as the father welcomed back his repentant son, so too does our Heavenly Father eagerly await our return, ready to forgive and restore us to fellowship with Him.
The Prodigal Son reminds us of the importance of humility, repentance, and forgiveness in our Christian journey. It challenges us to examine our attitudes towards others, particularly those who have strayed from the path, and to emulate God's boundless love and compassion.
Broader context:
Parable of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32):
This is the main passage where the parable is found.
Forgiveness and Reconciliation:
Matthew 18:21-22 - Jesus teaches about forgiveness.
Colossians 3:13 - Encouragement to forgive as the Lord forgave you.
Ephesians 4:32 - Be kind and compassionate, forgiving one another.
Luke 6:37 - Judge not, and you will not be judged; forgive, and you will be forgiven.
God's Unconditional Love:
Romans 8:38-39 - Nothing can separate us from the love of God.
1 John 4:16 - God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God.
Romans 5:8 - God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Ephesians 2:4-5 - But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ.
Repentance and Restoration:
Acts 3:19 - Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out.
Joel 2:13 - Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love.
Isaiah 55:7 - Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
2 Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
Celebration in Heaven over Repentance:
Luke 15:7 - Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.
Luke 15:10 - Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
God's Provision and Restoration:
Philippians 4:19 - And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Psalm 23:1 - The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
Matthew 6:26 - Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
God's Sovereignty and Compassion:
Psalm 103:8 - The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
Lamentations 3:22-23 - The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
James 5:11 - Behold, we consider those blessed who remained steadfast. You have heard of the steadfastness of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is compassionate and merciful.
Questions:
How does the parable of the Prodigal Son reflect God's unconditional love and forgiveness?
In what ways do we, like the older brother, struggle with forgiveness and harbor resentment towards others?
How can we cultivate a spirit of compassion and reconciliation in our interactions with those who have gone astray?
What steps can we take to emulate the father's example of mercy and grace in our daily lives?
Let us pray: Heavenly Father, we thank you for the timeless wisdom and grace revealed in the parable of the Prodigal Son. Teach us to extend forgiveness, show compassion, and embrace reconciliation in our relationships, reflecting your boundless love for all your children. Amen.

Why we aren't able to experience unconditional love on Earth?
Why so many people experience heart break on this realm? And why humans don't know what love is?.. not yet at least
Earth relationships are imperfect and humans are imperfect but that's not just a fact to admit and discard. There is much we can do about it and much we need to do about it.
First of all,in this matter of love, let me get some illusions out of the way about what love is not:
Love is not glorifying the other, love is not compromise, love is not self hate, love is not pain.
Having said that I have noticed that almost most people experience love in this manner. You cannot love another while you are still struggling to love yourself, (except if are a mother to a baby). If you do so love another more than yourself, sooner or later it leads to resentment, emptiness or heartbreak.
As humans, we are unhealed, projecting our lack of love onto people who have more self love than us, creating toxic attachments or codependencies to cover up for our inadequacy. Also we are attracted to people who have qualities we wish to possess or access (or those that lay dormant in us and we haven't claimed within us)
Now what is love really and can we experience it on this realm?
We can experience affection and admiration which is very different from love. It is just a passing feeling.
True love cannot be experienced until we heal ourselves. Until we are full to the brim, overflowing with love and then emanating that love out.
Also even after we reach this place of emanating love as an individual, we cannot attach to one form /one person or one object or subject to express that love. Love is free of form and attachment and it emanates in all directions.
This means that you feel it inside you and you can choose any form to project it on, be it a flower, a place or a person but it won't be fixed. It keeps flowing,  in all directions and hence, love happens in the moment.
Humans were never meant to be in a single relationship. That is a system of the matrix. They were all meant to emanate love and make connections. Some connections lasting longer, some momentary but very mutual. When two healthy individuals, emanating and overflowing with love connect and have an exchange and are whole and complete within themselves,  it generates more love, amplified love. That's how you create more love in the world. That is the meaning of a sacred union and it isn't restricted to a certain person.
Your ability to generate love depends on how complete you are as a person and how in flow you are with life. You attract people on the same wavelength as you.
When we keep seeking for this feeling of wholeness outside of us, like people in this world are programmed to do, you are perpetuating a cycle of pain and heartbreak and it's a chain reaction that doesn't end until you put an end to it.
We can put an end to pain by learning how to love. When humans learn to love, this planet will be liberated of pain and the vibration of this planet can rise very quickly.
It may be the most basic thing to do but it isn't easy too.
It requires us to let go of a lot of baggage, a lot of pain and shift the focus onto ourself.
I don't know if most people are ready to let go of their addictions and illusions but when they are numb to the world around them, the only option left will be  to go within. ❣️❣️❣️

You can’t make someone love you. You can wait and wait, hoping they will fall for you. You can spend all of your time trying to impress them by romantic quotes. But in the end, you have no say over what they send back. You can search for clues by piecing together all of the half-smiles they’ve flashed at you, and the late night texts they’ve sent you, but you can’t magically make them have meaning. You can romanticize the conversations you’ve had. You can defend the times they’ve stood you up. You can defend the fact that you always have to make the plans or start the conversations. You can hope, you can pray, you can keep wishing that they will fall for you. You can tell them that you love them. You can offer them all that you have. You can show them how you will love them.
You can love them and love them and love them, but still, you can’t make them love you back.
That’s the hardest part about love…you can choose who to love, but you can’t choose who will love you. You can choose who to devote your heart to, but you can’t make someone devote their heart to you. And you can choose to keep waiting, and keep hoping that someday they will fall for you, that someday maybe they will be your knight in shining armor or the woman of your dream afterall. You can keep your fingers crossed and your heart on edge hoping that someday, maybe they will realize that they do love you after all.

Venus Got A Lil' Emotional Today
Tumblr media
Note: This post might not give you anything new if you're at an intermediate or advanced level of being on the astrology wildride :p
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Water Venus, on a good day: "My heart is a vessel of boundless compassion, where tenderness and understanding blossom. My love is like water, an endless wellspring, and I am its gentle guardian."
Why?- Arguably one of the most precious placements, in my opinion, Water Venuses on their good days truly do God's work. They give themselves unconditionally to people they love, all while ensuring they take care of themselves as well. It's nurture and emotional intelligence at its peak in a social, interpersonal interaction setting. You can truly model what the internet calls a "healthy relationship": balanced, equal, loving beyond bounds, and, of course, filled with a generous dose of passionate romance.
Speaking of romance, it is the trademark of this placement. You can romanticize anything you like—your life, struggles, or crush; anything goes. It could help you get through a lot of life's uglier situations, you know? It's kind of like your coping mechanism. But, it's your superpower—your love. The depths with which you can hold someone—be it your partner, your child, your friend, or even your own parent in need—don't matter. The subject of your affections always gets your all. That is only IF you feel comfortable with the person. That's your boundary because you love yourself pure and deep; you need to have this layer of protection so you won't be taken advantage of (which is something a lot of Water Venuses on their not-so-good days experience).
Take, for example, how someone with a Scorpio Venus maybe wouldn't like to share themselves with just anybody because you all understand that not EVERYBODY has it in them to handle all that beautiful intensity, authenticity, and expression of deep passion. Your discernment is high because your vulnerability is powerful, and the level of trust required here is immense to support the deep intimacy on the level of the mind as much as on the level of the body. Hence the thick layer of mystery and secrecy around you all, especially in romantic settings, which makes you all look even more sexy to suitors caking on the OBVIOUS physical sexiness going on like, girl, I see you.
This energy also shows up as gentle nurturing paired with a fierce sense of protection for all things you care about. Cancer Venus tends to have an instinct to fight for what has a part of your heart. Motherly instincts if you may? But this placement really marries the fighter and the lover trope; it's mind-blowing, really. Here, Venus's love could be expressed in more emotional ways such as creating a safe space for emotional vulnerability or expressions of tenderness and nurturing of the other through whatever you enjoy nurturing other people with, like through cooking (to nurture loved ones physically), through deep conversations (mentally), or giving your loved ones tarot readings even? (Spiritually); whatever you define nurturing is applicable here.
And then again, a Water Venus could manifest as the dreamy, otherworldly, fantastical kind of love that is almost angelic in its frequency when realized in its higher octaves. You bet I'm talking about you, Pisces Venus. You have a wise kind of love that also simultaneously feels childlike and all-encompassing. Compassionate, forgiving, and devotional—the power of love meets the divinity of a human. Powerful as words can describe. This placement puts the unconditional in unconditional love :p; it's quite beautiful to see. And because of their characteristic lack of conditions when it comes to their way of loving, it's quite healing for the rest of us to experience their love, especially for the ones that have faced a tremendous amount of "conditional love."
Thanks for stopping by, kind soul :)
UNCONDITIONAL LOVE HAS NO NEEDS
Tumblr media
JOHN MCINTOSH
In spiritual communities it is common to speak of ‘having or giving or sending’ unconditional love … but ‘this’ is NOT possible.
The false self [body-mind-identity] that most call ‘me’, is a ‘product-of’ conditioning [attachments, expectations, and identifications tied to memory [past] and imagination [future]]. Its very existence is a complex bundle ‘of’ conditioning and ALL [even so called well intended] efforts to ‘project’ unconditional love into the dream called this world, are tainted with covert as well as obvious conditioning.
Never is this more apparent than in ‘relationships [of any kind], which many will say ‘complete me’. In itself this ‘validates’ the illusory belief in ‘separation’ [the core foundation of all conditioning].
Unconditional Love ‘has’ no conditioning of any kind since it ‘is’ Who YOU Really Are [the ONE SELF] … Who is WHOLE – ONE – COMPLETE – INDIVISIBLE. IT/YOU, relies on nothing in the Grand Dream, which is actually a projection on the screen of Consciousness ‘within’ I/YOU. Nothing is missing. IT does NOT ‘send’ this Love … IT emanates IT SELF ‘to’ IT SELF always and in ALL ways without preference.
YOU ‘are’ already this but have forgotten, veiled by ‘conditioning’. The dissolution ‘of’ conditioning is your ONLY Purpose here until that occurs. For this … Self Inquiry/Surrender is the direct route.
