your pfp always reminds me that i like to think loki doesn't always shapeshift into a different body. they are the gender that they are regardless of the current body. i mean he's a god he does whatever he wants. an absolute iconic trans move. and for some reason this thought of mine is very validating to my own self haha

Same!! I love the way Loki embraces his gender, especially as a genderfluid person who always presents in a masculine way, Loki makes me feel validated in my gender as well!!

They've always been one of my favourite marvel characters and they're an absolute trans icon in my eyes. That's also part of the reason why I chose Loki as my pfp. I just love this picture of him with the genderfluid flag as the background.

I stopped by Walmart on Saturday to pick up some lightbulbs. On the way to the self-checkouts, I happened to walk through the men's section, and a set of boxers awaited me!

For some reason, I always assumed they didn't carry anything besides a T-shirt I found a while back. But nope--Walmart also had two sock sets.

Probably a coincidence, but I noticed that the Rick pair features the trans flag colors.

Next, I found these sweatpants in the pajamas section.

Nothing in the entertainment department, but Futurama made an appearance. Although Hulu has more seasons coming, so it's not REALLY a complete collection 🤔

It's been nice to see Futurama get some visibility after all these years. Disney sees what Fox and Comedy Central didn't--a potential cash cow!

Anyway, the smaller mall didn't have anything this weekend, but Cute Loki watched over me while I browsed.

The bigger mall was also lacking. I was about to give up hope until I saw this bowl in Spencer's sandwiched between the ramen sets.

I love the contrast of modern grids and pastels with Rick and Morty's surrealism. Looks like a $300 Goop bowl until you see the illustrations. Rick and Morty: now suitable for the bourgeoisie!

After that, I found this pipe at a local head shop. Dabbing (the dance) is no longer cool, but I guess the pun is too good to pass up.

I checked out another head shop and was disappointed that I didn't see anything--until I spotted this rug! Iconic.

Don't do drugs, kids...unless you're a 14-year-old with an autistic mad scientist grandfather. Then you can do all the drugs you want.

Hot Take #1: Loki Show Queerbaiting

The Loki writers/producers (including TH) queerbaited in terms of claiming there would be genderfluid representation but they did not queerbait in regards to Loki being bisexual. He went from being an MCU queer-coded character to cannonically queer. Like sure, it could have been better, but it was enough to make it cannon.

Treat the cast members all the same way. However, you don’t even have to cancel your faves if you want. JUST BLAME IT ON DISNEY. Because they expect me to believe that Kate Herron with “Sex Education” in her work history, agreed to this? Also, based on past work and answers from other interviews, I don’t think any of the cast is transphobic or homophobic. Sophia, Kate, and Deobia are openly queer. Sophia (Amy Flowers is a lesbian icon), Gugu (sapphic role icon), and Tom are some cast members I know to have kissed same-sex actors (I am not very familiar with the rest). They either have the trans flag in their SocMed bio, or said femme Loki should be portrayed by someone that “identifies as a woman”.

I dislike conspiracies used to single out women in the cast and malign them (As has been done to Tom’s fiancee/wife and Loki show woman co-workers). But I am all down for Disney-based conspiracies because FUCK DISNEY. They definitely have a lot of control through their contracts and legal team and have been known to sue high school fundraisers for holding screenings with a purchased movie. They are a oligopoly that owns large parts of Florida and self-governs. Seeing them stand up to DeSantis for once is hilarious and one of the only good things they’ve ever done. So I hope they obliterate DeSantis. Because if Disney can’t, our first ammendment rights are ABSOLUTELY FUCKED if even such a megacorp bends to the GOP. The ONE cast member I give you a free pass to harrass is Johnathan Majors, because he is a domestic abuser with multiple allegations of abuse.

back when i was certainly a system, mord was our system name 😌✨ and the -core is a nice suffix because short words are usually taken, and using <my name>core always feels accurate (and crowcore was taken)

Happy (late) pride month guys!!

If you clicked on “keep reading” to know more about the flags and headcanons, you’ve come to the right place! All these headcanons are either popular headcanons, my personal ones or comic canons.

- First, if you’re wondering why Thor is holding the lesbian flag, you probably missed the fact that tumblr pretty much adopted the god of thunder as an icon of wlw ally these past few months. Maria Hill is my own head canon.

- What flag is Loki wearing? It’s the genderfluid flag! Not a very popular one, I haven’t seen it that much…Loki is actually canonly genderfluid in the comic, which is why he wears this flag.

- I couldn’t choose anything for Tony. He just seems to defy any labels I put on him….so he’s wearing the pride flag, supporting the entire LGBT community.

- Steve is bi, I heard that’s also Chris’s headcanon for his character but i’m not sure if it’s an urban legend or actually true.

- Sam, waving it for all the LGBT PoC out there.

- I didn’t have any trans headcanon, but I found that Peter was the most popular one so here he is, representing his community! If you’re wondering why he’s wearing the suit, it’s because he’s the only one bothering with secret identity, and spiderman coming out as trans would have more power than Stark Industries intern Peter Parker doing the same ;)

- Wade holding the pansexual flag of course, and the genderqueer one on the other blade, because he’s gender non-conforming af, especially in the comics!

- And finally, my baby Vision holding the asexual flag! DISCLAIMER (it might seems ridiculous but this is tumblr so I prefer things to be clear): to me, Vision is a non-sexual character due to his nature. I identify him as ace due to his nature not the other way around, meaning I don’t consider aces to be “unnatural” or somehow robotic or anything. If there’s anything unclear about that, please don’t hesitate to message me !

Of course, we all have different headcanons about these characters, and you’re free and welcomed to share your own, may it be in the comments or in the tags! Thank you all so much??

When I started using this blog like,,, 8 months ago,,, I thought I'd peak at 2k. But then y'all just had to go and prove me wrong huh?? ok.

I guess I'll just have to repay you in shitposts. Smh.

Anyway,

In all honesty, though, I've had so much fun with this blog and it's all cus of y'all?

I've met and made friends with some amazing (however slightly messed up sksjsks) and utterly lovable people, gotten over my self doubt to an extent that I posted fics without immediately deleting them, received so many nice anons, found a community of absolutely brilliant folks who share my skewed sense of humour,,,

Damn. This list could go on and on.

Welp. "Thank you" doesn't even begin to cover it but:

Second:

I'm doing two things for my follower milestone!!

1) I'm introducing a tag!!

From now on, I'll be tracking #marvellousthings (because I'm an uncreative binch) so if you tag any of your posts as the aforementioned, you can bet your socks that I'll see it, like it, maybe reblog it :D etc etc.

2) a creative challenge!

Ok let's face it, the "trans Peter" tag deserves a lot more love than it's getting right now.

After Tumblr user transpeter was bullied off this website by terfs, the tag's been depressingly empty, ya know?

I miss the warm feeling I got from interacting with the happy community, and reading posts by people about how the headcanon made them feel validated!!

Unfortunately, now, it's only shitposts and the occasional ask (which is great, but I want so much more??)

And that's where it stands. Trans!peter is a cute lil headcanon that needs your creativity and imagination to be kept alive.

So, that's exactly what I'm aiming at.

I want you (yes, you!!) to:

➡️Make photo/gif edits

➡️ make Moodboards

Etc

(basically, I just want to bring the tag back to life ya know)

Rules (for writing challenge):

Peter has to be trans (o dam didn't see that one coming)

But the fic doesn't have to revolve entirely around his identity

A paragraph or so acknowledging it would be mighty cool!!

// Hey nonnie, thanks for asking! I might ramble a bit with this so strap in lol.

Gonna preface this with saying that the mun is himself a trans man and with pride month here I’m using the same icon as last year bc it’s hella cute and fitting the bi flag on too looks a bit messy. Graphic design is apparently not my passion.

Honestly I’m caught between still deciding and verse-dependent with Thor, and that’s mainly down to Asgardian magic/tech and my personal feelings towards transition. Between the abilities of characters like Loki, Odin and Frigga, as well as their advanced technology, it stands to reason that any physical transition (should Thor have wanted it), would be a much quicker and easier affair..like a snap of the fingers easy. For me personally that offers less opportunity to explore thoughts and feelings towards transition, the emotions tied in to the journey itself and the work many transgender people put in to feel comfortable in one’s own body. This is just my own personal feeling towards the matter and honestly it’s completely subjective!

As it stands at the moment Thor’s being played cis, but I’m very happy to explore verses and opportunities where this isn’t the case and fully intend that Donald Blake is transgender. When I finally get around to it I’m adding a separate page to add some details on that!

I’m still in the process of building my Kurt Wagner blog too atm and am quite likely gonna be making him trans!
