ITS HALLOWEEN

the time of the year we are able to buy fangs in retail. and i've tried literally every brand of fangs that spirit halloween carries (and more), so this is my review and recommendations.

Scarecrow Fangs

unpopular opinion, but i did not like these. They're way too expensive, imo and the molding solution sucks and is a nightmare to work with. the fangs themselves are alright.

price: 19.99 us

rating: 5/10

Spirit Halloween

It's surprisingly good! i used these until i broke them - they use thermoplastic for molding, which i think should be the standard for fangs. It's far easier to work with. the plastic is cheaper than Scarecrow, but they feel solid and are a more realistic color (at least for me)

price: 4.99 us

rating: 8/10

Monster High

Oh my ghoul, i love these. These fangs are a bit on the smaller size, which is useful if you're going for subtle. and of course, being monster high, i'm all for them. i mean, that case is adorable

again, these use thermoplastic. Though its imortant to note not to put the fangs themselves in hot water while you're molding them- i warped one by accident. regardless, they are so comfortable and resilient. my second favorites.

Special FX

we've all seen that video of that girl using these in like 2008 and wanted to be her. at least i did... but im sad to report that these fangs dont work on my anatomy. they mold to your back molars with thermoplastic, and when you press on the bar, the fangs come down. these fit simular to a retainer as they just sit above your teeth.

i, however, am missing one of those molars and cannot line it up right to use them. (never beating the kentuckian stereotype)

Now for the ones not sold at Spirit Halloween

Amazon cosplay fangs

You've most likely seen these before. they're nothing special, but they get the job done. i do like the case they come in! very convenient. But the color is far too unrealistic for me. still, they do use thermoplastic! which is always a win. and theres four sizes, again convenient.

price: 7.99 us (give or take)

Dracula Fangs

I had never heard of this brand before someone posted about these on tiktok. i bought them immediately (i am not immune to propaganda, and neither are you), and i gotta say... They're my favorite I've tried.

I got the large ones; and let me tell you, they're massive. definitely not for subtle vamp vibes. They're sharp, too! That's a plus for me, not for everyone, i assume. and they mold with thermoplastic! they come with way more than you need (which you can use to make more fangs if you desire)

they do come in smaller sizes as far as I've seen, but i haven't tried those yet.

price: 20.00 us (i know that's rather pricey)

Witch things to add in your room, poor person edition

Fuck it Most of witchcraft people tell you to buy shit. So here's some stuff u can do for free

grab some sticks from the ground, bind them together in a shape you like, add intent (usually protection), hang it up

make a flower crown, add protection intent, dry it out, hang it up. protection spell and real ward. regularly recharge intent.

dry plants, set warding intent, hang them up.

crushed eggshells on your window sill to prevent bad energy.

wear a bandana or veil somewhere on your body, sometimes i use mine as belts, to protect from bad vibes.

paint your nails in the color meaning you want. mine are pink for self attraction rn

when you light up a candle always ask if theres a spirit or entity there, pyromancy skills can be learned through google, tumblr, and tiktok.

Regularly clean and rearrange your altar if you can't practice everyday, this keeos the space clean and shows entities around that even if ur not active, you're still a witch

A cup of water can be an offering to anyone, imagine being an entity and you can't have water at all for centuries??

If you have glasses, draw a sigil on them while you clean them (i usually wash mine with soap and water to make it extra clean ((and dry with paper towels)))

Give your wall art jobs. Sure they can be decorative, or they can be extra eyes to watch you while you sleep to make sure no one messes with you. (Ive had so much wall art fall in the middle of the night and turns out smth was trying to get in my room...)

If you have black-out/thick curtains, let the sun in!!! I keep them tied during the day so i can use natural light and ease up my electricity bill

Change ur bedsheets semi regularly, it doesn't need to be every week, but keep in mind bedbugs and other entities can get trapped there... or even try to get there to make your sleep unrestful.

If your room is a bio-hazard, at least make pathways so you can walk without injuring yourself.

But she doesn't say a word to the young halfing about that, just grabs the collar of his shirt if he wanders too far off, a soft hissable warning falling from her lips.

She's not used to kids, it's clear to the parents. But she tries, because they show a side she's not used to. They won't have to fight for their freedom, or lives or anything of that sort. They'll be able to choose to fight. And if having a toy crown on her head that has the girl with an affectionate tail giggling and finally finding a stone that has the boy, his outrageous curls doxed in his first half shave, grinning and spouting praises you'd only hear from young ones, is the biggest proof of that, she's alright with it...mostly.

And if you think the protection stops there...HAHAHAHA- No.

One time Lae'zel was in charge of the kids who wanted to go to a nearby carnival. Astarion and Tav allowed it, seeing it as a nice opportunity for some alone time and bonding time for Lae'zel and her little warriors in tow.

And if you call Lae'zel nearly breaking a man's arm off as bonding time...sure.

An older man, possibly a hunter by the looks of how his eyes shifted and how he posed in his following of the three, dared reach for Axel who was too busy staring wide eyed at the golden clocks on one stand to notice his creeping.

Lucky for him, Auntie Lae'zel came in, hissing and glaring, hand on the always sharp dagger she has at her hip.

To others and the guards, it looked like an attempted kidnapping so the man was taken away as soon as Lae'zel got a few good hits in, possibly a few cuts.

'Great.' She grumbled in her mind as she watch the man be dragged off, spouts of vampire children going unheard by the guards who merely rolled their eyes and gritted out words of justice.

She turns, half expecting to see eyes wide in fear at her, only to find a small body slamming into her front. Axel, at the age of 9, goes sniffling into her tunic, clutching at her back with tight fists.

"Auntie Lae!" His sister's teary eyes meet her unsure ones, "Are you okay??" She frets, coming in close aswell.

She ignores the murmurs, the looks as the crowd around them disperses. Her thoughts still trying to come together.

She tsks, patting the girls head instead of answering and pulls Axel away form her, only to kneel infront of him. "Next time, watch your surroundings. Understand, pup?" A common nickname from her companions. It calms the boy down, his red eyes getting wiped as he nods and sniffs, "Y-Yes, ma'am..."

After wiping his face and giving him a somewhat awkward hug, one that has Ama giggling and Axel blinking, they continue on, enjoying the carnival to the best of their ability.

And it seems to work out well. As soon as Astarion and Tav arrive home, the twins running up to their open armed father as Tav approches a tired Lae'zel. They chuckle and -

"What?!" Astarion bawks.

They look over, seeing the twins glance at each other then back at Astarion.

"Can you teach us how to fight like Auntie Lae'zel?" Ama smiles like she's asking for a delicate flower, while Axel gives a wicked grin in comparison. "YEAH! She beat up a bad man at the carnival today!" He giggles, "I think his arm broke cause I heard a loud crack!"

Tav blinks. Lae'zel stares. Then smirks, "I take back my first statement, they are like him."

Annoying things you all do (Zosan X reader)

Zoro X sanji X reader, polly relationship, established relationship. Reader is GN.

Headcanon: All couples have things they don't like about each other but you put up with them because you love them. here are some things that you find annoying about each other.

Warning: bad language.

Things Sanji finds annoying:

^ Zoro's stoic face in intimate moments. Sanji loves Zoro's smile but sometimes in romantic moments Zoro doesn't show any emotion. He wont say anything though in case an argument brakes out between the two and ruins the moment. Sanji will try and get the man to smile by kissing his neck or letting his hands wonder but most of the time it doesn't work. If Zoro is in a mood there isn't much anyone can do to get him out of it.

^ Zoro not letting him fight a good opponent. Both of them love a good fight but Zoro isn't afraid to take over someone elses fight. Sanji will be fighting someone and Zoro will just butt in wanting to fight. The two end up arguing in the middle of it, beating the guy and then fighting each other. Sanji makes a note now to fight away from Zoro if he can.

^ You ignoring him when your focused on something. If he comes over to bring you food or a drink you won't look up at him just thank him. He just wants to see your beautiful face smile up at him when he comes over. He'll try and get your attention other ways like kissing your cheek or rubbing your shoulders but you only acknowledge him with your words not a look.

^ You hide things from him. If something if bothering you about your relationship with the two you won't say anything. Sanji can tell when theres something on your mind and will ask you about it until you finally give in. He wishes you would just tell him in the first time since its usually something thats an easy fix. He can't seem to convince you to just let it out and stop holding it in.

Things Zoro finds annoying:

^ Sanji flirting with women on the street. He gets jealous of Nami and Robin when his boyfriend flirts with them but he won't say anything about it. He knows that Robin and Nami won't do anything with Sanji and his flirting. As for off the ship It makes him very mad seeing Sanji flirt with girls he doesn't even know, Sanji has two partners so why does he feel the need to flirt with others.

^ Sanji taking drinks off him. Everyone knows Zoro loves his Sake and Beer but he'll drink it until he passes out, Sanji tends to take the drinks off him when he thinks Zoro's had enough and replace it with water. Zoro gets so mad at this and it tends to result in a fight ending with Zoro pouting in a corner drinking water. He knows Sanji cares but he just wants to let go and relax.

^ You not pushing yourself in training. When you work out togeather you'll add an extra weight and it will stay like that for a couple of weeks even when you find it easy. He wants to help you get stronger and often tries to encourage you to add more only for you to shut him down and tell him your not ready yet. He doesn't mind a few days on the same weight but he thinks a couple of weeks is excessive.

^ You make jokes to lighten the mood. It can be the worst of situations and you'll make a funny comment or joke. He wishes you would just say it in your head not out loud. He hates it more when Luffy laughs at it, it seems to encourage you to do it more often. Some times he'll tell you to knock it off but it ends up with you being upset with him and not talking to him.

Things You find annoying:

^ Zoro going off on his own. He knows he will get lost, you know he will get lost, heck everyone knows he will get lost and yet he still goes off on his own. He refuses to take anyone with him or even a map. You know he can't use one well but you at least want him to have a fighting chance. You know he needs his alone time but when he's off the ship he either gets into a big fight or he doesn't come back for a day or two.

^ Zoro not falling asleep with you and Sanji. Zoro always takes watch at night and most of the time comes to bed at 3 or 4 in the morning. You wish sometimes he would take a night off and cuddle up with you and Sanji in bed. You don't know weather he enjoys it or does it because he feels like he has too but every night is excessive in your eyes.

^ Sanji crying or fussing over you when your hurt. It can be just a scratch or a bruise but he will kiss it and cry over you. You know he cares about you and wants you safe but he can be too much over little things. You can take care of yourself and after a battle you tend to hide any kind of minor injury just so he doesn't make a scene.

^ Sanji picking a fight over stupid stuff. It mainly happens with Zoro but he does it to you some times too. It can be as simple as Zoro drinking a whole bottle or you not parting your hair the right way. When he's in a mood the smallest of things can set him off and he tends to take it out on you and Zoro. you can't count the amount of times you've had to shove him into a room to cool off.

I GOT YOU. i organized it by concept rambles, then if i were to write a 'getting together' one-shot thing.

A SORT OF BACKGROUND/GENERAL CONCEPT..

nina has a crush on everyone. usually its veryyy short and fleeting and she realizes it was moreso admiration and appreciation rather than romance, but its like she's hardwired for romantic love. even when she's "with" jeff (she calls him her boyfriend/fiancé but neither are very loyal), she's crushing like crazy

so, when she's introduced to Jack through Clocky.. he's tall, mysterious, has a nice voice, polite, freaky. SHE'S CRUSHING HARD. REALLY FUCKING HARD. like running off with clocky squealing and spinning and going 'I THINK IM IN LOOOVEEE HE'S SOOO FINEEEE' and clockys like no. you are not. please.

nina would start asking clocky/toby "ohh we should visit jack today i bet he's lonely lets go see him" and they see right through her shit. clockys more likely to be like 'i do not want you bothering him, i dont think he can take it' since she'd be aware of the whole... falling in love with jenny only to be horribly betrayed fiasco.... and even if she loves nina, she doesn't trust her not to hurt people. but toby is more likely to think its funny as fuck and bring nina along.

another big point is. nina's appearance matters a lot to her. she used it all her life to get what she wanted - ranging from when she was little and using doe-eyes to beg her dad for toys, to being a sexy, fun chick at the bar getting drinks from randos... but jack can't see her. he has thermavision and echolocation, so he gets the gist of her appearance, but it'd really mess with her. she doesn't think theres anything about her to love, other than her appearance and what she can give. but he really thinks she has a sweet voice, at least

A CURRENT STORY/ONE-SHOT CONCEPT

it would be after she officially breaks things off with jeff. jeff stabs her in the stomach, liu drags her to jack, and jack tends to her wounds.

they'd require her to stay with jack for a few days, just during her recovery.

nina's depressed, understandably, after the whole ordeal. jack gives him her room so she can actually lay down, and he sleeps on the couch. she never leaves his room, is always in there moping and crying and trying to contact jeff - but he's blocked her on literally everything, so..

it'd start by jack bringing nina meals. breakfast, lunch, and dinner, he'd bring her something and insist she eats. some days she would, some days she'd cry and beg him to leave and take it with him. he'll leave it alone for a while. "this isnt my problem" or whatever, but... she wont heal properly if she's not eating. so jack would eventually try collecting her, pulling her out by the hand and quietly asking her to come eat dinner with him. he'd insist it's for him, that he's been lonely, something like that - a little bit of manipulation, but it works. it gets her to eat.

he'd do it more often, and she'd think she's doing a good thing. he'd start bringing her out to cook with him, all that.

maybe one day while theyre cooking together, nina would be in such a good mood after a long time of moping, and he'd just comment on how nice her laugh is. and immediately she's like oh. woah. ok.

maybe that night, just like he asks her to eat with him so he's not lonely, she'd ask him to come lay with her so she's not lonely. then jack finally gets his fucking bed back. and nina, i guess....

bonus points cuz she'd be wearing his clothes. BIG AS FUCK ON HER. theyre so cute

✿ 𝚂. 𝙷𝚊𝚗𝚋𝚒𝚗 -

• Hanbin likes to make coffee for you and his members in the mornings.

• If you're not already with him in the dorms but he knows he will see you, he will make one in your own special to-go cup.

• You both have one and you decorated them yourselves.

• They're filled with cute stickers, doodles, and sweet nothings.

• When you are in the dorm you can count on being wrapped around Hanbin's waist as he drags you along whilst making coffee.

• If or when he makes food, you are his professional taste tester.

• If Hanbin is in the kitchen, chances are you will be too.

• Hanbin is obnoxiously a morning person.

• Like I mean this man is up and ready to go in 10 minutes whilst you and all of the other members are still waking up.

• And so if you get too sleepy Hanbin will sit you on the counter and come over to cuddle you whenever he gets the chance.

✿ 𝙺. 𝙹𝚒𝚠𝚘𝚘𝚗𝚐 -

• Being the oldest of the group, when everyone orders takeout, you and Jiwoong sometimes take responsibility of ordering food when Leader Hanbin isn't available or just to help him out.

• You basically tag-team it. One person finding out and writing down orders and the other ordering the food on the phone.

• Most of the time, it goes smoothly.

• Mother and Father moment.

• When everything has been ordered, you proudly smirk at eachother and share a smooth high-five.

• The 04s watch and commentate on it like a sport. When they know food is about to be ordered they gather, tell you their orders first and watch it go down.

• Gyuvin narrates what is happening and Ricky adds a comedic remark here and there.

• This also means you and Jiwoong find yourselves swatting them away when something doesn't go according to plan.

• Almost like a military operation. Theres a lot of hungry people waiting and a lot of food to order. It's of utmost importance!

J: "Okay, is that everything?"

Y: "I am 98% sure."

J: "We don't need 98% Y/n we need 100. Can you give me 100% certainty?"

Y: "Yes sir!"

G: "It looks like our players have a bit of a mixup on their hands. They're rechecking the orders. A recount! Will they make it in time?"

J: "Yah Gyuvin! Out!"

R: "Oooh and Gyuvin strikes out!"

Y: "You too Ricky!"

R+G: "Fine..."

J: "Wait... Should we ask again?"

Y: "Babe. I'm sure it's right."

✿ 𝚉. 𝙷𝚊𝚘 -

• Sometimes when you get to the ZB1 dorms, finding Hao is difficult.

• My guy tells no one where he is off to.

• Which is fair because if he wants privacy, it needs to be that way.

• However, chances are that when you can't find him, he will be somewhere playing his violin.

• His violin is a way for him to relieve stress.

• You are another.

• He instantly calms down when you are around.

• He says you help clear his head and help him get his thoughts straight.

• He thinks more rationally when you are around.

(Realising he legit said this about Hanbin •-•)

You walk up behind Hao. He is sat on a stool facing out of his window, his hands skillfully playing a chorus of notes on his violin. As you reach him you carefully place your hands on his shoulders and a gentle kiss on his cheek.

"Hi baby." You say lovingly, your hands moving further down his chest, leaning fully on him, as he lowers the instrument.

"Hello my love." He responds with a sweet smile.

He sighs in content as he holds your arms and closes his eyes, resting his head against your shoulder.

"Long day?"

"Mhm."

"Want to lay down and talk about it?"

"I think I'd rather just lay down with you."

"We could also do that."

✿ 𝚂. 𝙼𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚠 -

• You and Matthew are the couple that always have one show that you are watching together.

• Whether it be a soppy K-drama or a cringey YA series, you both are addicted.

• I'm not kidding, everytime you guys meet in one another's house, you have to watch at least one episode.

• You often shush and shoo away people who intrude, not wanting to miss important scenes.

• You also often disagree on situations in the show.

M: "I'm telling you, she's gonna end up with ___"

Y: "No! But ___ is so good for her! They'd be great together!"

M: "Yeah, I get that, but he likes ___ and so he's gonna get with her."

Y: "No, you're wrong, that's what the show wants you to think!"

H: "Hey, Matthew, have you seen my-"

M: "Shh! He's confessed!"

Y: "Wait it's a cliffhanger?!"

M: "Oh my god! How could they do that?!"

• Many times Taerae has tried to teach you how to play the guitar.

• But to no avail.

• Instead he offers to play an acoustic version of your favourite songs for you to sing along to.

• He provides excellent backing vocals.

• He sits on one end of your bed, watching you sing.

• He thinks you look beautiful whilst singing.

• When your eyes flutter shut, how you scrunch your face to reach the high notes. Your laugh when you forget the lyrics.

• He truly is your biggest fan.

• When you get tired of singing he will serenade you.

• Singing cheesy love songs to make you blush.

• Not only will he sing to you for fun. He will also sing you to sleep.

• You lay next to him, Taerae resting on his elbow looking down at you as he gently brushes hair out of your face. He quietly sings a slow song as you fall asleep.

✿ 𝚂. 𝚁𝚒𝚌𝚔𝚢 -

• You and Ricky love going out and exploring the city.

• Whether you go shopping, find a new café, or just walk around or take pictures, you both love it and have so much fun.

• As the night gets later the temperature gets colder, and eventually it is so cold that the two of you can see your breaths in the air.

• A lot of the time you get much colder than Ricky and he ends up giving you one of his jackets.

• You and Ricky usually decide to find a few street food stalls to walk around, both for the food and the warmth they would provide.

• If your hands get cold so he offers to feed you so you hold a heat pack or put your hands in your pockets.

• Ricky always gives you the last bite.

• You buying something you found interesting such as a new drink or a new food and giving him a sip/bite.

• Watching his face either light up as he smiles and nods, or as he scrunches his face because he doesn't like it.

• A lot of the time its the latter.

• He may love food, but he is picky.

• Video gaming with Vin.

• Loves to tease you.

• Tries to grab your controller when you're doing good in a game against him.

• But there are a few that you are better at, and he hates it.

• You pretending not to know a game and them him whining when you actually end up being better than him at it.

• You sitting between his legs, his hands on your hands holding the controller as he teaches you the controls of a new game.

• Him getting excited for new game news/releases.

• Going to conventions together.

• Your halloween costumes are always video game characters.

• Y'all are geeks fr.

• But its cute. 🩷

• Likes to cuddle whilst you watch youtube in your first language.

• Often you will go to the boys' dorms to hang with Yujin.

• A lot of the time this is to play video games.

• One of Yujin's favourite things to do is to watch you play video games.

• He likes to sit you between his legs whilst he hugs you from behind and watches you play Animal Crossing on the switch.

• Snacks are also a necessity.

• He will feed you chips one at a time whilst you run around your island keeping everything in check.

• The members have often walked in on this and think you two are freaking adorable.

• But like actually it's something so adorable to witness.

• Sometimes Yujin will fall asleep on your shoulder and it's something that you just have to capture because omg this absolute sweetie. 😭🩷

• His head is on your shoulder, eyes closed, slight smile still on his lips, his arms wrapped securely around your waist.

• You would want to stay there forever if your legs werent going numb...

On the topic of moisturizing our ocean boy's lips... May I add a lil' idea on how making things easier...?

First: apply a very generous amount of your fav lipbalm on your lips.

Second: lightly tap the corner of your mouth with your index with an innocent smile and say "Cove, it's lipcare time, baby".

Third: Indulge and enjoy.

Somehow, I've got the feeling that Cove would be a real threat to MC's scented lipbalms/lipsticks/lipglosses. You know, like when you can't help but eat your lipstick once applied, because it's tasty and it becomes a habbit you absent-mindedly do...? Well, I kinda hc him doing the same, but to MC's lips.

I think it'd even reach a point where MC'd have a stack of lipsticks/balms only for his personal use (on MC's mouth). Pricey lipsticks would be worn only when sure he'd not be around. And i think he might pout and feel "cheated" if MC would ever dare wearing one of those long-lasting lipsticks (because he enjoys having you apply, re apply and re-re apply your gloss, so he can have seconds, thirds, as much as he wants, MC's mouth literally becomes Free Dessert Buffet to him).

Downside of it... your make up budget might explode, with how fast those lipsticks and balms are finished.

There's this french brand which sells this absolutely delicious lipbalm made with honey. You literally wanna scoop it from the bottle and eat it. Also, it's the kind of really rich and thick, blanket-like texture you'd apply before sleep. So if MC ever uses it... they'd probably have to either try keeping Cove away from their lips (at least enough time for the product to do its job on their lips), or benevolently sharing (cause it's caring), or resign to plan their lip moisturizing routine another day... or hide while doing it.

I think lipsticks/balms would end up being one of the most fav items Cove would gift them...

MC putting on one of their nicer lipsticks/glosses, or putting a lotta time/effort into their lips and limiting cove to 1 or 2 pecks. PECKS. not kisses. PECKS.

cove is pouting, his distraught... he just wants to kiss you, your lips look so nice n juicy n shiny and-

he needs his fix.

definitely make him buy some if not all your lip products. if he wants to keep kissing you silly, wants to keep smudging your lipstick/gloss n making it so obvious what you were just up to, then he needs to pay for it!!!!

imagine giving him a lil peck, and then it turns to 3, than 5, and now you're just kissing... your lip is totally ruined, lipstick n carefully lined lips totally smudged.

don't ask if he's proud of himself because he'll just laugh n rub his arm. or maybe he's just looking at you all love-drunk. doesn't care about all the lipstick staining his lips... hopefully no one walks around the corner this time

liz did once, n she does not let you live in it down... specifically cove. always teasing him with, "cove, theres lipstick on your chin" and snickering hysterically when he slaps a hand over his mouth n chin, trying to wipe off the "lipstick"

(she did it once, being totally serious, and cove was like "im not falling for that again >:(" and went to work with your lipstick on his lips...)

yall definitely lip makeup wipes n a compact mirror on hand at this point...

what if jessamy lived and matthew was brought in by lucienne as extra help and matthew gets a little crush on jessamy and you notice how matthew seems to be strutting around a lot, his feathers are shiny and he always puffs out his little birdy chest when ever jessamy calls him handsome and theres something that seems familiar but you can't quite place it

until you call morpheus gorgeous when you see him in a new outfit and he somehow seems a little taller, his hair is extra fluffy and he has whatever the dream lords equivalent of a spring in his step is

When Morpheus finally freed himself from his captivity, Lucienne had been faced with a decision to make. Her Lord was determined to find his missing tools immediately, never mind the fact that he was still weak and without any sort of help. While she couldn't do anything about the first part, she could certainly assist with the second. Though Morpheus didn't approve (he was still traumatized by the death of Jessamy, but he would never admit it to anybody, least of all himself), he begrudgingly allowed this new raven, Matthew, to travel with him to Hell.

Imagine their surprise when Lucifer revealed they had taken Jessamy's soul for their own in the hopes that they could use it as a bargaining chip with the Lord of Dreams. This was unacceptable, and so a wager had been made. If Morpheus won The Oldest Game, he got his helm...and Jessamy. If Morpheus lost, then the demon Choronzon got...him.

Thankfully, the former had been the outcome, and Morpheus left Hell with his helm and one more raven than he entered with. But to say there had been some growing pains as the two Ravens of the Dreaming adjusted to both being the Ravens of the Dreaming would be a gross understatement.

That was then though, and this is now. By the time you came into the picture, there were hardly any signs at all that there had been animosity between Matthew and Jessamy. They worked together in harmony now, the perfect team. One could even call them friends...even if Matthew maybe had feelings that were a little more than friendly.

You're in the library with your two feathered friends when Jessamy's head perks up, an obvious sign that Morpheus is summoning her via the mental link he has with his ravens.

"That's me, then." She sighs as though it's a chore to have to go attend to Morpheus, but you know how much she enjoys it. How much she enjoys every moment of her second (third, really) chance at life.

"Official raven business?" you ask.

"The most official." She stands and shakes her feathers out, but stops before taking flight. "Matthew?"

He looks at her in surprise. "Yeah?"

"Your feathers look nice today."

"Oh! I—uh, I flew through a waterfall this morning because I wanted to try something new. Wasn't sure if it would work out."

"It certainly did."

Matthew tries to stutter out an answer. You can hear Jessamy laugh as she swoops off to catch up to Morpheus. If Matthew could blush, you're sure he would be.

He's still staring after her minutes after she's gone, and you can't help your amused smile. "You okay?"

"Absolutely." He nods, his chest puffed out in pride. You stifle a laugh and replace it with a hum, pulling your book up past your face so he can't see just how well you believe him.

These instances, of Jessamy playfully flirting with a head over heels Matthew, are not rare. She enjoys doing it, and who knows? Maybe she feels the same. Their routine is rather sweet, actually, but you can't help the weird sense of deja vu you get when you watch those two dance around each other. You've seen this act before, but where?

The next time you and Jessamy are together, you're both in a position that you did not ever think you'd find yourself in: watching Dream of the Endless play fashion show.

Normally, Morpheus just conjures up whatever look that he wants without a second thought. He can change his appearance at a whim, even though he prefers sticking to his familiar, all-black wardrobe. But this week, he's hosting his siblings. All of them, save his wayward brother, are to be in the Dreaming at the same time for the first time in centuries (Morpheus can't say for certain how long it's been, which is how you know it's been a long time). A "conclave of the Endless," he called it.

Weird way to say you're having a family dinner, but whatever.

Though he'll never admit it, he's nervous. Nervous about his siblings being in his realm, nervous about how the Dreaming looks after having spent so long returning it to its former glory prior to his imprisonment, nervous about proving himself and his power once more. This dinner matters to him, and since you can't be there to support him—he refuses to possibly put you in harm's way and/or at the mercy of cunning and powerful beings who enjoy making mortals their playthings, which you appreciate immensely—he's trying desperately to control the few things that he can, including his outfit choice for the evening.

And there have been a lot of potential choices. Seriously, he's tried on so many outfits that you're starting to lose count. Coats and cloaks, robes and rubies, boots and blacks. It's a dizzying blur by now, and Morpheus looks as done as you feel. He's nothing if not relentless though, so the rigamarole shall continue.

He turns to face you when he's settled on a new choice, and you both look at his outfit with the discerning eye of a critic appraising a work of art. After a few moments, Jessamy, sitting on the back of your chair, is the one to speak up first.

"The collar does not suit you, my Lord."

His gaze goes to you, and the helplessness in his eyes almost makes you say that Jessamy's wrong and you like the look. You'd be lying, though, and you like to think that a core tenet of your relationship is honesty. With that in mind, you grimace and shake your head.

"She's right," you begrudgingly agree.

Huffing is an action that's below Morpheus. It's a very mortal thing to do, so naturally the Ruler of the Nightmare Realms does not huff. If he were to pretend to huff, though, the way that he abruptly turns back around and sighs heavily through his nose would be a very good impression. Your lips twitch when you glance at Jessamy out of the corner of your eye only to see her pulling the exact same move towards you, but you stay silent and go back to the watching and waiting game.

About three outfit changes later, something clicks, and you sit up in your chair in excitement. "Ooh, that's it!"

"You're right," Jessamy echoes your earlier words, only this time in a far more positive connotation.

Morpheus raises an elegant brow. "Elaborate, please."

"That's your outfit for tomorrow," you insist. "You're gorgeous, my love."

He stops fussing with his outfit and looks at you through the mirror. "You truly think so?"

"You look so handsome in that outfit. I mean, you're handsome all the time, but c'mon!" You grin, because how can you not? He's one of the most attractive men (-shaped beings, if one were to be picky) you've ever met in your life, and he's yours.

He holds your gaze for a moment longer, as though attempting to detect any deceit from you, before inspecting his appearance one final time. With a nod and a very small, very self-satisfied smile, he says, "Then I shall wear this tomorrow."

"Perfect." Next to you, Jessamy sighs in relief, and you shoot her a furtive thumbs-up for a job well done.

Since your part in ensuring Morpheus has a successful dinner is complete, you leave the Dreaming hoping for the best and preparing for the worst. What this means is that you're expecting to fall asleep the day after the dinner is scheduled and walk into the worst hurricane that would ever be recorded were it in the Waking. Morpheus likes to act like he has no emotions, but the reality is quite the opposite. In fact, he has so many emotions, and they're all so strong. He just doesn't know how to deal with them, and chooses instead to hide them away until they burst.

Instead of the anticipated disaster zone, everything is...calm. Actually, it's a beautiful day. Think of the nicest spring day, and multiply it by at least 10 (maybe more). That's what this weather is. The sun is out and shining, the temperature is warm but not hot, and everything is in full bloom. Hell, there are actual flower petals dancing through the air right now. Flower petals!

You snag one of the petals and hold it gently between your thumb and forefinger, feeling the silkiness against your skin. "What kind of Disney movie am I in?" you mutter.

You feel Morpheus's presence behind you a mere moment before he asks, "What was that?"

Even with the environmental warning, he still makes you jump, and you turn around to face him. "Hi! How did it go?"

"Far better than I could have expected."

There's something...different about him. His hair looks especially messy and windswept (not that you're complaining, you love that), he's still wearing his special dinner outfit, and did he get taller? You feel like you have to look up just a little bit more to truly look at him so yeah, he definitely got taller.

"Good. I knew it would, though."

"You did?" he asks curiously.

"Of course. I had complete faith in you."

Those starry eyes of his twinkle brightly as he smirks at you, and the realization hits you like a truck. Now you know why Matthew's mannerisms have been so familiar! Because you've seen them before, and you're seeing them now. Morpheus thrives off of your compliments. How...interesting, and a theory that you need to test out immediately.

"I'm really proud of you, y'know." His lips turn upwards into something that's almost a smile, so you continue. "I know how hard this was for you, how much you worried, and you handled it beautifully."

The beautiful flowers surrounding you burst into the air, their petals falling down around you in the multitudes. You start to laugh, but Morpheus doesn't let you make another sound, instead ducking down (from his markedly taller height, mind you) to kiss you. Though you're caught off-guard, you quickly get with the program and return his affections.

"I would like to celebrate with you." He says before moving his lips to your ear, even though nobody around can hear him whisper, "In my chambers."

You pretend to think for a moment, because a moment's all you can spare. "I'm certainly not opposed to such plans."

He pulls you to him in a way that suggests you didn't really get a choice otherwise and grabs his sand from his robes. You press your lips together to hide your smile and happily hold onto him. Oh, you are so using this to your advantage from now on.

Author's Note: This was written purely because I wanted some hurt/comfort fjndkdmd. There are two other parts because theres like 9 characters I wrote this for

Reiner Braun

Oh boy

Family is something that means a lot to Reiner. Especially s4 Reiner. He would do anything to protect his own so someone hurting their family member?

He can't fathom it

Reiner just wants to hold you close, shield you from everything that would dare even try to hurt you

Reiner is a broken man in many aspects but you make him feel whole, you make everything okay do seeing you hurt is not something that Reiner ever wants

When you come to him? Hurt and even scared? He wants to know why, he wants you to know he's there and always will be

Reiner is stunned when you tell him the stories, the way you feel around your family, how you felt the end to always always apologize or people please just to avoid conflict

Reiner decided then and there that he hated your family, that there was no excusing how they had been adults around you and instead of nurturing you, destroyed any semblance of a child that had existed within you

He pulls you close, enveloping you in a hug and let you sob and cry into his chest

Reiner had decided he would do anything just to help you move on from them

Although Reiner could barely hide his relief and a touch of disappointment when you said you hadn't seen them in years

Reiner was half tempted to mention his desire to make them suffer using his rank as Vice Chief but opts to keep that from you. For the moment, at least. Time and place and all

Bertholdt Hoover

When you tell him, Bertholdt is quiet at first. He's the kind to process things a touch slowly

But he is horrified

Bertholdt became a Warrior for his sick father, not unlike Pieck, so when you tell him that you admire that but could never do the same for your family? That some fathers never earn the love of their children?? Bertholdt is stunned

Not because of the "but family is family" bullshit no no. Bertholdt is stunned at how you're opening up and with him of all people and the fact that anyone would dare hurt you

Bertholdt mutters about wanting to hurt them for hurting you

This is a man who was pushed into killing hundreds just because he was convinced that Eldians were devils and those who were on the island were the worst of the worst

You can't tell me when faced with the story of how your abusers are still alive, he would be kind

Well. To you, he is kind

To them? He wants to feed them to the titans

Bertholdt slowly but surely pulls you close, buring his face in your chest and whispering positive affirmations that you are worth loving, deserved so much better, and are one of the best people he had ever met

Zeke Jeager

When you tell Zeke about it, he remembers his own parents

How only his grandparents earned his love and how his father especially received his ire

In Zeke's mind, Tom Ksaver is still his real father. Even if he had to eat him in the long run

Zeke is an odd man and he doesn't really emote much but he takes a hit off his cigarette, puts it out and turns to you. Zeke offers you a sympathetic nod, an apology, and pulls you close

Zeke, unlike Reiner, would absolutely use his position as the Warchief against the people who hurt you most

Zeke would lull you to sleep, letting you sleep in his bed and feel all the perks he gets as a Warchief that can actually speak during meetings with Marleyans

His sweet nothings persistent until you've drifted away and then he steps out, probably finds Yelena while he leans beside him with a cigarette

"Find two people for me. Full name and everything, then frame them. Make them suffer. They've hurt someone I care about greatly."

Yelena doesn't even have to ask who that person is, she knows its you so she does so without question nor fail

When you hear the news, you climb into his lap and sigh, kissing him sweetly and thanking him for the small amount of justice you get to see served

Zeke would do just about anything for you, he's sure of that much
