Also just likes to hold you close when he can, clinging to you, his head over your shoulder, eyes closed peacefully, because you’re in his arms, and you’re alright

Not only does he like to hold your hand but he likes having you really close, right up against him, even so that your arm is against his, and he almost finds it comforting to be like a shield between you and any particularly infuriating guests of Daki’s, should they feel the need to get close to you

Nakime

She never knew how comforted she was by being able to even just sit with you

It’s instinctive, but he’ll have moments where, if he isn’t too sure about an upcoming environment, he’ll hold you tighter and pull you to his side, turning so that he has you to one side, the road ahead on his other, like a castle wall between you and anything he doesn't know is safe

He’s most peaceful when he can calmly take in your scent without it being tense, or sad, or scared, like it is when you two are out on missions, as Upper Moons

No, behind closed doors, he doesn’t want the smell of another Upper Moon that he patrols with or is currently investigating something with…he wants only the scent of the one he loves, without a care in the world

Muzan

Like Kokushibo, he finds it almost like second nature to come between you and harm

He also likes holding your hand tight, practically at all times, which surprised you at first

You first really noticed it when you two were just roaming the streets of Asakusa, and someone bumped your shoulder, which caused Muzan to nearly tug you right up to his chest the moment there was any tug on your held hands

When he works, it’s like an anchor to be able to hold you

He likes to keep you in his arms when he’s sat at his desk, and is grateful when you stand nearby and follow him when he shuffles about his workshop, always within arms reach

"Oh for fucks sake!! FOOD. ALRIGHT!? I WANTED FUCKING FOOD!," he spat at you with a deep scowl, "I saw food, I was hungry, and I ATE. As simple as that! You weren't going to miss one dam chicken and a few peaches-"

"That chicken-" You cut him off poking his chest hard. "-cost me twenty coins same as the others! She wasn't cheap! What gives you the right to just come onto my property and take more of my property you...you..... What are you anyways?"

You'd never seen anything like him. Grey skin, weird stripe markings on his cheeks, black eye sclera, pointed ears, and fangs. Two top fangs were much larger than all the others. Was he some kind of monster? He gave a deadpanned look before rolling his eyes and scoffing.

''Im a vampiric demon." He then gave an (not-) intimidating smirk. "I need a certain amount of blood to survive. You should be lucky I didn't consider you to be on-"

"Wow. You must really love this shovel."

He sputtered a few noises indignantly. "I'LL HAVE YOU KNOW IM MORE POWERFUL THAN YOU'LL EVER IMAGINE, WOMAN!!"

"Uh huh. And that's why I was able to tie you up right?" He only glared at you and you sighed. "Well...I guess I can untie you. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with you and to be honest I'm not really too fond of having you around."

"Oh FINALLY!!"

"But if you try to attack me, Ill hit you again and throw you in the river out back," you warned him to which he still scowled at.

He said nothing but yelped as you just grabbed him by the shoulder and pulled him over to lay on his stomach. On his back was the knot keeping all the ropes together. All you had to do was grab one end and tug. Instantly he felt himself be freed. The ropes gave out and you blinked as he inhumanly stood up faster than you expected. His body shaking like a dog's to toss the ropes off of him before hissing in relief. His hands rubbing every inch of his sore body eventually stopping on the right side of his head. The pain was STILL throbbing there and his previous flopping around and yelling did not help it. He hadn't felt like this since Kokushibo slammed him into a boulder during a training session. You noticed the groaning and gestures he made with his hands as if in pain.

"Are you alright?," you asked slowly standing up

"You hit me with a dam shovel!," he snapped but winced as a pang of pain shot through his head. "Do I LOOK ok to you?" He hissed through clenched fangs.

A small feeling of guilt washed over you. Oh yeah. You did so that. "Will you be ok?"

"I'll regenerate after a few hours." But until then it'd be hell. He jumped as something grabbed his arm and pulled him forward.

A thud rang out as you dropped the shovel and grabbed the man with both hands and pulled him forward. He stumbled a few steps as you walked and immediately shot a scowl at you getting ready to shout at you to let him go..But he paused seeing your face. The sunlight from the entrance bounced off your body and your eyes reflected the light brightening up the purple shining within them like two perfect lavender diamonds. Your gentle smile and soft lips smiling at him.

"Well let's go get you something to ease your pain. I have a tea mixture that's a pain reliever. Not sure how well it'll work on demons or whatever you said you were but you can still have some."

He only still stared... Like the first time he saw you- "Why?"

"It's called being the bigger person. And I don't like the idea of someone I hurt running around with an injury I caused. If it's really serious then I'd rather have you get help."

He hummed but otherwise said nothing as you pulled him from the barn and towards the small house. His brow rose higher as you reached out to open up the back door before proceeding to pull him in. He chose to just stop and stare in the doorway. It was a one roomed house. It was mostly empty. A coffee table square in the middle, a picture frame or two holding a painting of someone on the walls, a basket in the corner, a shelf full of dishes and other small items, a fireplace with a fire currently alive and heating a kettle, and a few other bland things. Nothing that really stood out as anything important to him. His eyes turned back to you before he hissed again and reached up to cradle his head as another pang of pain flashed through his head. HE SWORE HE WAS GOING TO GET PAYBACK FOR THIS-

"Why don't you have a seat?" You turned from the shelf with a small box. "I'll get you some tea and you can rest a bit."

"Yeah. Sure. Whatever." He grumbled but wobbled his way over to plop himself down in your futon without any care for how you'd react.

He groaned again and held his head in both hands now that he could sit down. Gods this was stupid. He knew he should've stopped by that dairy farm instead but they didn't have any peach trees and he couldn't pass up the chance to indulge in his favorite fruits. ... He's learnt a hard lesson. From now on all his meals will be taken with him TO GO. He barely looked up when you came back over with a warm cup and small wooden box in your hands although his nose wrinkled up at the smell of horrid rotten vegetables. It came from the cup you shoved under his nose making him lean away and glare at it.

"The hell is that?"

"Herbal tea."

"Smells like shit. Are you trying to give me a stomach ache on top of giving me a headache!?"

You gave him a blank look. "It might not taste very good but it'll help with the pain. Now drink up." You pushed the cup into one of his hands.

Usually he would've refused and just argued but the throbbing pain overruled any arguing. So he just sucked it up and brought the foul smelling liquid to his lips despite his nose's protesting. A glass shattering sound went off in his head as soon as half the small cup was sucked into his mouth. His eyes bulged out, his cheeks puffed out, and it took everything in your power to not instantly snort in laughter at his reaction to the foul smelling AND TASTING tea. The grip on the cup increased as a single tear fell down his cheek...Oh good gods....IT TASTED SO FUCKING BAD!! He nearly choked before he forced himself to swallow the terrible tasting tea and instantly gagged sticking his tongue out in the universal sign of disgust. You couldn't help but chuckle a little.

"YUCK!! What the hell is this?! Poison!?"

"It's just herbs and water."

"It tastes worse than it smells!!"

"Well I never said that it would taste good. Finish up the rest of it and I'll make you something to eat."

He casted a scowl your way. "If your cooking is already this bad then forget it!"

"Too bad. I was going to make some homemade peach cobbler."

You nearly laughed again as he perked up at you in interest. "......Peach cobbler?"

"Made with fresh peaches straight from my own orchard." He fully stared at you now. "But only if you finish up the rest of that tea."

"What?!"

"You already finished half of it. Just down the other half... Unless you don't want peach cobbler and homemade freshly brewed peach tea."

He perked up more. "Peach tea?"

"Finish drinking first. Then we'll talk food."

He scowled again before staring down at his cup with disdain and disgust. Was it really worth the food?....His peach addiction told him yes. So grumbling Kaigaku braced himself and tried not to smell too much of the smell as the rest of the foul smelling liquid was forced down his gullet. He hoped his stomach would forgive him for this.

-TWO HOURS LATER-

It wasn't as scary as you thought having someone who wasn't human sitting in your home. He was WAY more annoying than scary especially when he was scarfing down what must've been his fifth plate of peach cobbler you offered him as you took the chance to bandage his head. When you first touched it he snapped up and kissed at you-

He was cut off mid hiss by a hand slapping over his mouth. "Oh hush up. It'll help your pain."

"Hell no! Why would I let you touch me when you already hurt me?"

You only deadpanned at his stubbornness. "Do you want me to kiss your booboo and make it feel better?"

He blanked. "....What-"

He didn't even finish as two small lips pressed into his temple as you kissed the sore spot he was clutching earlier. The plate of food nearly dropped from his hands as he choked. Your gentle touch was gone soon after and you took his frozen, red faced form as a chance to finish bandaging his head. He flinched at your sudden touch but didn't stop you before you finished bandaging his head.

"There. That should help with it. I think you should stay here."

Still red faced he snapped up to you snapping out of his stupor. "WHAT?!"

"Just in case you have a concussion. I'd feel better knowing you were alright fully."

"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't just walk out of here like I should've done in the first place-"

"Peach cobbler." He fell silent as you rose a brow. "And home made foods and anything else you might want."

"... ...."

Kaigaku found himself staring up at the ceiling and grumbling as you pulled the blanket over himself and smiled sweetly. Stupid pretty-....PETTY human!! You yourself pulled out a pair of spare blankets and pillows for yourself before falling asleep in a different part of the home. From that day onwards you thought you weren't going to see Kaigaku but to your surprise he started showing up a few more times and every time you'd find him in your peach tree scarfing down your hard grown fruits. At first it annoyed you and you'd chase him from the trees with your shovel but after the fourth time in one month you gave up at just expected him to show up at this point. Which was at most once a week. You got the impression that he really loved peaches. At this rate you'd never have any to sell ever again. Kaigaku was still annoying however he was smart enough to stay a good distance away whenever you held something big enough to chase him with in your hands.

"Are you just going to sit up there all day watching me work while eating my produce?" You spent nearly the whole morning reaching up and straining to get the apples on the bottom branches of your apple trees while blue-black eyes just stared at you.

He scoffed stuffing another fruit in his mouth from the branch he laid upon. "It's not my fault you're so dam short- AH!!" He ducked as an apple harmlessly was thrown past his shoulder. "HEY! The hell was THAT for?!"

"For being a lazy asshole. If you want me to make you food then quit being an arse to me."

"You women are all the same. You get your pretty little head too big and think you can boss everyone around."

You smirked. "Oh so you think I'm pretty?~"

"What?! No! I was just saying you shouldn't be a smart ass!!"

"You you think I'm smart too?"

"YOU'RE REALLY STARTING TO PUSH YOUR LUCK!!," He snapped red faced now.

"Oh ..So I'm lucky too.~ How cute of you to think so.~" You continued to giggle at his red face as he sputtered.

"SHUT THE HELL UP!!"

I would like to make another headcanon request for Kokushibo, Hantengu and Kaigaku with a reader who's blind. They could see when they were much younger, but now most of their vision is lost, and they have difficulty navigating at night. At first they didn't even recognized the other as a demon but were very accepting when they found out. Now they hate to be away from their demon partner and would rather spend every minute with them. I can also see them utilizing their condition to lure in victims (by asking for help) for their demon to eat.

Hantengu | Kaigaku | Kokushibo [X Reader]

In which their s/o is blind, and helps them lure humans in for eating.

Hantengu

Ever since he met you, alone and lost, he felt pity that you had been left to nothing for something out of your control

Of course, you were just like him, so he would protect you if it meant protecting his own ego

But you were so kind, and you didn't say anything cruel or judgemental to him, he could go as far as to say you depend on him

He liked that a lot, it made him feel special

Being apart of him, the clones didn't touch you either, either amused by your lack of sight, feeling pity, overtaken by anger at those who wronged you, or liking having something so new around

Fortunately all their eyes were different, save for Hantengu and Sekido, so it was easy to tell them apart if not for their personalities

In no way was the Upper four weak, but sometimes he was a bit...scared

He noticed how you attracted people to him, and how easy it was for him to kill once secluded

So you did it more so he could kill, instead of his clones

You empowered him and all of his egos, fueled him and made him far more powerful

God forbid someone you're luring try to harm you, they'd be dead before they can even realise what's happening, and left to rot

Him and the clones don't find trash all that delicious

Kaigaku

He found you quite pathetic all things considered

Lost with no one around, stumbling and trying to find some kind of light so you could gather your bearings

Those electric blue eyes of his, they pulled you into a false sense of hope

But through your words, so unknowing of who he was, you convinced him to humour you for awhile, as if playing a game

Kaigaku gets attached similar to how you do, but far more possessive and jealous

In a messed up way he likes that you can't see well because it means you'll only ever know him best

The fact that only he can protect you and keep you safe gives him a superiority complex, but he rarely beats down onto you about it

Your kindness is hard to combat, but he does act like he hates it

In his months as a demon, it was hard to find people to kill without making a scene, and when you saw him starving like that, you convinced yourself you could bring someone back

And with a false story about someone robbing you, three men were lured into your shared home for the slaughter

He kept it clean so you wouldn't get sick- not that you'd really notice- and since then encouraged the behaviour

Once he heard a group of people bullying you for falling in mud after you slipped

It was the only time he decided to make a real mess, leaving trails of organs across the street for all to see

You had to move but he found a better place anyways

Kokushibo

Kokushibo can be very quiet, so when you call out to him or he feels the need to say something, it usually scares you half to death

Once caught your arm moments from hitting him because you felt something on your neck and figured it was an insect- it was his breath

Tends to be unhelpful because he wants you to adapt as much as you can, and to remain independent

But on the rare occasion he'll allow you to cling to his sleeve and step slowly through darkened places

Might let you get minor injuries from walking into things but he would never allow you to gain a scar

The first time you lured someone, it was an accident

He had left without telling you, and in a panic you yelled out for him while falling

A hunter heard this and came to your aid, but Kokushibo had them handled moments before they even touched you

It happened mostly by accident

But if he was ever weakened, upset, or having trouble getting someone from a crowd?

He'll just say he needs a favour, and then leave you stranded in the street until someone comes prancing

If anyone does the opposite of helping and tries to harass you, he'll make sure their death is prolonged

Consider a thousand deep-ish wounds, so they can bleed out till morning

Authors Note - Honestly so rare for a Kaigaku request which makes me sad cuz ahhh I love him! He's really great and deserves more fanfics... But thank you for coming back Shrew (if i can call you that), your last request was such a hit I think ive written 2-3 extra requests off of it already haha!

A/N: The character of the Ghostly Gondolier is from the show Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! from 1969. The character is featured in Season 3, Episode 13! Also, the reader is uppermoon 5, though Gyokko is still in the story, just as the fellow moon alongside the reader. Also, they hate one another, anyways, the warnings are below.

As the descendant of royalty, you had a hidden lot of treasure hidden somewhere inside of your homeland of Italy. But when you discovered your ancestor had another descendant, you grew irritated. This was your family’s reward for hardship, not his!

You had always heard about a legend of a traitor being sentenced to the dungeons, and when you found a reference drawing of what they looked like, you dressed in your indigo tunic and gray cloak before adding gloves, a belt, and boots to finalize your look.

During your time acting as the spirit of a deceased traitor, you had been found out and escaped from the authorities, sending you and your gondola across a few rivers before going on foot through more pieces of land before landing in Japan.

Growing the need for more, you began another life of crime, stealing valuable jewels from the Entertainment District’s many rich prostitutes and their customers.

You had yet again been caught and almost died if it weren’t for the intervention of a man with black hair and red eyes, who had killed the many officers around you in the blink of an eye.

" You seem to be of use with your cunning traits. I will offer you this once, mortal. Become a demon and you will gain the power you so desperately want. Nobody or thing can take you down. "

It has been many years, perhaps a few four hundred years? Maybe four thirty-one? No matter, you rose in the ranks like nothing. Obtaining many treasures and valuables from your victims, demon slayers, average humans, and alike.

You expected every single attack and would teleport away faster than any other demon, but what you couldn’t disappear from was your feelings, much like your dearest demonic-lover…

Demon! Reader ; Uppermoon 5

💤 Enmu loved to watch you fight. You just taunting and scaring humans left and right as you would train your abilities with your fellow uppermoon 5, Gyokko, whom you despised more than that hashira that nearly killed you mere years prior

💤 You were known for your sneaky and very greedy personality, and the fact that your face was always hidden behind a cloak as your mouth and eyes glowed a horrifying yellow

💤 Despite how many feared you, Enmu adored you. He would find you after Lowermoon/Uppermoon meetings and hug you, requesting a small amount of time together, which you agreed to. You could count your gains that week that way

💤 He is very masochistic, while you are fairly sadistic. So, whenever you guys were to fight against one another to help with your boyfriend’s attack speed and power, you would harm him harshfully, much to his enjoyment

💤 Enmu loves to watch as you taunt humans, especially when it means he gets to see a genuine smile against your face when finding a hunk of pricy metals or whatnot that you didn’t have before

💤 You constantly fight with Gyokko, who yells at you for trying to steal his pots. And while normally many would be scared of his nasty ass face, you just laugh maniacally and lift one of his smaller and more delicate pots, threatening to throw it away as Enmu watches and laughs with you

💤 Your boyfriend also adores to go with you on your gondola, you lightly motioning it to slowly flow through the waters of a nearby river. This was the only place you guys could relax

💤 After you were sent the final words from your boyfriend before he died at the hands of the hanafuda-earring wearing slayer, you grew angry, just as angry as your master

💤 That bastard was going to pay for harming your lover… and he was going to pay with his life…

Demon! Reader ; Uppermoon 5

🍑 As one of the fastest rising uppermoons, Kaigaku met you fairly early in his short life as a demon

🍑 You were fairly ticked that Gyokko had died, the guy was so weak that he had fallen to the hands of a single hashira. And not only was it one hashira, it was a child! A mere excuse of a death, if you said so yourself

🍑 You were very powerful, and Kaigaku recognized that, and because you were fairly close with Kokushibo, as he would give you some things he knew you’d like off his multitude of victims, you met him early on and helped train him

🍑 Kaigaku noticed he still had a shard of humanity in him when you had held his blade out to him, with a small gold chain attached with the words ‘I believe in you, champ’ written in a little plate

🍑 You had made and gifted him something with so much value? Why was his face so warm at that action?

🍑 When you guys eventually became a duo of fighters, it made Muzan sigh, since he was being reminded of the previous uppermoons, Daki and Gyutaro, who died in his eyes by the shred of humanity they had left for one another

🍑 Kaigaku merely scoffed at Muzan’s remark and declared you would be the ultimate duo, one more powerful than the last moons

🍑 You fought against a group of demon slayers when a crow flew by, announcing the demise of your lover, and hearing that his supposed fellow trainee of Jigoro Kuwajima just enraged you even more

🍑 But, instead of fighting, you stood frozen as the young Kamado boy jumped and readied his sword to decapitate you. And once your eyes looked into his filled with tears, he readjusted and fixed his breathing style

" Boy… no- Tanjiro. Thank you for this… kick Muzan’s ass, yeah? "

🍑 Watching with widened eyes, Tanjiro smiled and bowed to your disintegrating body before walking away and wondering just why you gave up so easily at the mention of Kaigaku’s death

Demon! Reader ; Uppermoon 5

🩸 You have been uppermoon 5 for hundreds of years, and when Gyutaro and Daki first joined, you recognized the female as the Oiran Warabihime of the Kyogoku Estate in the Entertainment District

🩸 How did you recognize her, you might be asking. Well, you may or may not have snuck in and stolen a few very expensive vases before…

🩸 Anyways. Gyutaro noticed how Daki groaned at your appearance, you were just a plain-looking person, at least in demon standards to her

🩸 Your face was completely a shadow, while you had a glowing yellow mouth and eyes, which honestly gave the female demon the heebie jeebies while her brother became infatuated with your unique appearance. You were kinda like him in that way, a unique look and personality

🩸 Gyutaro began to seek you out whenever he got some time away from Daki, and while you wouldn’t admit it straight-up, you enjoyed spending some of your time with the sixth uppermoon

🩸 Daki grew onto you because of you delicately you treated her, even if she did annoy you with her constant whining. You just would hand her a piece of your horde and move on as she gloated to others about how you liked her more than the others

🩸 Only you and Gyutaro knew that you adored him the most, since he and you were the only couple between any moons throughout history

🩸 Whenever you had a successful hunt, you would travel to the Entertainment District and hang around with him and sister, though since Daki normally had work to hold, you would just sit down on the rooftops or go hunting alongside your dearest demon

🩸 Gyutaro is very self-conscious with you, he believes that you only are with him because you pitied him, I mean, why would someone as powerful and amazing as you want to be with someone like him? He couldn’t even protect his sister when he was a human…

🩸 Due to a small breakdown, you stayed in the District overnight, which was when Uzui and the squad came there and began the fight against the siblings and you

🩸 You watched as Gyutaro and Daki were killed, and in a frenzy, you wailed in agony as your boyfriend screamed for you to leave and began having a fight with his sister over their fates which would leave you alone and in so much emotional pain

" Stop right there, demon! " " You’ll pay for this, you damned slayer. You’ll pay for killing him! "

Demon! Reader ; Uppermoon 5

🎶 Nakime met you fairly early on in her life as a demon, since she took control of the Infinity Castle while you held your position as a powerful and long-lasting uppermoon, specifically uppermoon 5

🎶 You would spend your nights out gathering victims, demon slayers and civilians alike, and would steal everything valuable they had on them. From pieces of their clothing to even a part of their blades, you gathered it all

🎶 Bringing it back home was even better than the actual hunt for you, as you would sit down and count everything you gathered, though you particularly liked the medallions some rich people had on them, and you would listen to your lovely lover play her biwa in the background

🎶 She likes to look up from her instrument for a couple seconds to see you throwing some of your 'garbage' off to your fellow moon Gyokko, saying things like;

" This shit'll fit right in with your nasty ass pots, Gyok'. " " Holy! Y/N, what the hell! You almost hit my damn head! " " Good, it'd be a massive improvement. "

🎶 Whenever she would notice that Gyokko or another demon was targeting you or your gatherings, she'd strike her biwa and send the demon far away, and anyone could hear their screams of irritation from miles away

🎶 You would just look up and her and give her a thumbs up while yelling your thanks and adding a 'babe' or 'tesoro' at the end, making her gently smile and nod her head

🎶 When she had joined the Twelve Kizuki in replacement of Hantengu after his demise and you took over the position of uppermoon 5 for yourself, you always felt the urge to protect her now more than ever

🎶 This showed during the final battle of the slayers vs Muzan

🎶 Nakime and you were the final members of your organization remaining, and you were getting super fed up with these kids and traitorous demons

🎶 Your teleportation was hardly effective anymore, it's as if they were able to predict where you were going to come and go from, much to your, Nakime, and Muzan's chagrin

🎶 Muzan eventually grew so fed up that he had decided to eliminate Nakime, so that the castle wouldn't be controlled by Tamayo's little imp, and he just sent you a final message as you watched Nakime die from your leader's actions

" It's nothing personal, Y/N. " " Muzan, you son of a bitch! "

Headcannons of Kaigaku and/or rGenya running into s/os bad Ex?

I haven’t written for Genya yet, but he is one of my favorites >w< I even went and made a banner for him in case I write for him more. I love doing those banners, I think using Canva for making transparencies is fun (though I had to do a pro free trial since I can’t get into my work's Canva at the moment >w<.)
