The first 2 building was just a simple 1-story building that was completely abandoned, so it wouldn't take long to search. Brainy and Nia checked the building, but it was empty there were a few box here and there, but that’s it, the second building was the same. Kara and j’onn Already checked the first floor and there was nothing. Getting to the last floor, both sister were starting to lose hope. They look around the last floor, but they didn't find you or the alien. “Brainy, are you sure those were the only location you found.” Kara asked desperately. “Unfortunately, yes, that’s all I have for now.” Kara sighed and looked at j’onn with tears in her eyes. “We will never find them in time.” J'onn took Kara in his harm.” Yes, we will ok well find them in time.”
In a last ditch attempt, Kara used her super hearing. She was extremely surprised to hear a really faint but present heart beat, pulling away she concentrated on the sound. “What wrong?” He asked. "I think I hear something, It's coming from downstairs.” She followed the sound, it leads her to a wall on the first floor. “Hidden door, maybe.” Kara said, and J’onn shrugged. They looked around trying to find something like a button, a lever, anything that could reveal a secret door. Looking closely, Kara found a spot that wasn’t the exact shade of the wall, she pressed on it and the wall opened.
Behind the door, Kara saw the most horrifying sigh she could ever see. There was you on the floor covered in blood and bruises, your eyes were closed and if it wasn’t for the slight movement of your chest anyone would've thought you were dead. The was towering over you, he grabbed you by the neck and lifted you in the air. “Are you dead yet or do I need to continue?” He chuckled, he squeezed your neck more and with your eyes still close you weakly grabbed at he’s wrist. Kara was frozen there in shock, she couldn’t move, she just looked at you.
Your POV:
You just wanted to die at this point, your entire body was hurting, you were so weak you couldn’t move nor could you scream in pain when he hit you or stabbed you with his sharp claws.
You knew he was there, you could feel his presence. You heard the door open, so you thought he was actually gone, but you quickly realized he wasn’t when he wrapped his hand around your neck and squeezed, cutting your flow of oxygen, you weakly tried to loosen his grip on your throat, but it was obviously a failed attempt.
Suddenly you were dropped onto the floor and you groaned at the impact. You heard some struggling then there were hands-on you, you whimpered and flinch in pain because the hand were touching one of your wound, you tried to move away from what you think was Vexok hands.
 General POV:
“Get away from her!” J’onn scream, snapping Kara out of her trance. The Alien dropped you to the floor, right as he did, j’onn attacked him whilst Kara ran toward you. She placed her hand on your side to see how badly you were hurt, She heard you whimpered and try to move away from her, not knowing she was hurting you she pressed down harder to keep you from moving. A weak cry left your lips and that when she took her hand away, you shook like a leaf and try to move away again. “Sweetheart, it’s me, it’s Kara, it’s your big sister. You’re going to be ok. I know it hurt, I’m sorry. Could you open your eyes for me please?” Kara said, tears brimming her eyes at the sight of you like this, you slowly opened your eyes, even if your sight was blurred a little you recognized your sister’s bright blue eyes they were filled with worry. You cried in relief and happiness at the sight of her.
Behind her, j’onn made quick work of knocking the alien down. “Come on, we need to bring them both to the D.E.O.” J’onn said, Kara nodded and picked you up. You let out another weak cry of pain, which broke Kara’s heart even more. “I’m sorry, Honey, but I have to bring you to the D.E.O.” She said softly.

A sequel to type one diabetes where bd is stressed out because Kara got hurt as supergirl. So even though bd is taking her insulin she goes into DKA? Kara is fine when BD falls really ILL like already recovered?
Tumblr media
...
"What do you mean Kara is hurt?" you stammered in shock as you looked up from the glass tubes on the holder, ripping the googles off your eyes and meeting the stare and steady gaze of Winn, who was waiting in the doorway. "Just come with me, quick."
You circled the table, stripping off your white coat, which fell untidily to one side on the iron chair before the brown-haired computer nerd grabbed your hand and awkwardly pulled you along.
At the glass front of the medical station in the DEO, he released you and you stared at the many people who gathered around your sister. A little look through the hectic moving bodies you recognized, that Supergirl´s face was bloodied. Some bruises were already forming under her eye and on her chin, blood ran from her nose over her lips and she lay lifeless on the lounger.
"Why is she not healing?" you stuttered. Your mouth wide open in shock, you crossed your arms over your waist and hugged yourself for comfort. Anxious, you watched Alex taking care of the middle sibling, worrying as you realized that Kara was not waking up.
Winn looked up, trying to get a feel for how bad the situation was, hoping Alex would soon come out and tell them something. Anything. But as you continued to watch her and the flickering screen of the blondes vitals, reality filled with an uneasy fear. Her blood pressure dropped steadily, her heartbeat increasing. "Winn, why is she not healing?!"
"Her powers failed mid-fight with Reign,"
Every little movement after this sentence shocked your body, threw you off balance and at the same time you had to suppress the enormous feeling of wanting to throw up with all your concentration. You could not even walk straight properly, everything blurred before your eyes.
Normally, you would immediately run into the room and fight for Kara´s life alongside your sister but today, that was not the case. You just had to get out of here. Away from the situation.
A week had passed as Kara struggled back into the present. Alex had performed wonders with her strong knowledge of medicine and the help of the sunlamps so that the young blonde had regained her superpowers a few days ago and was beaming with joy as she resumed her duties as Supergirl.
You, on the other hand, felt worse with every day that passed after your sister´s near-death experience. Fatigue and lack of energy have plagued you since the incident, but you tried to put it down as the stress you had acquired from not knowing about Kara´s future condition.
Winn watched you with concern. Something was wrong with you, very wrong. Normally, you were a bright, invigorated and vibrant woman but there was no sign of her at the moment. Beads of sweat were visible on your forehead and the enormous trembling of your hands could be seen on the handle, that encircled the tongs.
You were not the same. You were confused, weak and looked ill and battered with your sallow complexion. "Hey, you okay?" you looked up at him from your work, not even noticing that he had even entered the room you were standing in and nodded as an answer to his question.
Of course you dismissed his concerns but as the day dragged on, the computer programmer´s worries grew.
After you finished the work in the lab and stood at the center console of the DEO´s, he saw you in uniform for the first time. Your pants seemed to be looser and your belt had a new self-inflicted hole that was almost completely ripped through, like you did cut it with a broad-bladed knife.
The compositions of your weight loss did not match your eating habits at all. Winn had seen you several times a day with a full plate of food. You gratefully accepted small treats that J´onn passed you and devoured them without sharing with your siblings. Your drink pattern where out of control, often reaching for water and chamomile tea as if your thirst was never quenched.
He looked around and just in time caught Alex, which came up to your side for a moment and talked to you, shortly afterwards kissed you gently on the cheek and then walked away towards him. "Did Y/n tell you anything? Somehow she does not look good to me,"
"No she did not. But I have already noticed," he acknowledged and studied over your pale color once more. Your face was sunken in and the blinking of your eyes multiplied with every minute you stared down at the tablet. "It is probably all the acetone she inhaled in the lab doing some tests. It always makes me sick too"
The redhead snapped back to Winn and looked at him perplexed. With pursing lips, she tilted her head. Her eyes were wide, pupils blown and had an abundance of sudden panic in them while her heartbeat pounded in her chest. "What did you just say?"
"Yes, the smell of old, overripe fruit and acetic acid that envelops her," he explained, desperately trying to explain the smell more specifically to her. Winn was raising his eyebrows and did not quite understand what Alex wanted to do with this information. "Did you not smell that when you were with her?"
She quickly pushed herself out of her leaning position and ran to your side. Her index and middle finger dug under your chin and pulled your face towards her. Just looking at your red eyes and the enlarged pupils were signs that her thoughts were right.
"Okay, sweetheart. You have to come to the med bay with me immediately. Move!"
...
"Alex, what happened?" the velvety but strong voice rang through the small medical room, worry mounting in it. The blonde walked over quickly to both of you, trying to take stock of the situation that played out in front of her. "Alex!"
"She is in diabetic keto acidosis," she replied subconsciously, sounding defeated. Kara could hear the sheer nervousness in the otherwise rough and dense voice. "She is ill. Very ill"
"I can see that from her condition but what do we do? Can you help her?" she pointed her hand at your sleepy and tired body. Her eyes filled with soft tears at your sight while you just smiled tiredly to show her it was not so bad.
"I will take her blood and do a fix test. In the meantime she gets 0,9% saline intravenously. If the potassium is good, I will give her insulin intravenously and correct the hypoglycemia, trying to restore her body´s volumetric saturation," her voice was deep and filled with concern. She should have looked at you sooner to see if everything was fine. The incident with Kara had obviously took a toll on you too. "Talk to her, she has to stay awake now!"
In her eyes, you had looked very bad for the last few days. But the flu epidemic was on the way and so she thought that you would only catch onto it. Alex was not aware that things were going so badly for you.
As Kara edged your bed, she felt more tears prick her eyes and trickle down her cheeks. Her baby sister was ill and looked even paler in the big bed than you were anyway. She pulled the blanket you were lying under further over you and gently patted the back of your hand a few times.
You had not moved an inch and instead were limp next to her.
"How did that happen? She always takes her insulin, I always help her," gently, she stroked your fine hair. "Because of the stress she went through, her body probably used more insulin that she was taking"
Kara looked at the redhead who had already prepared a vein access for you, letting the liquid run through it. In addition, she put a heart monitor on you to keep you under surveillance. While waiting and hoping that your condition would improve in the next few hours, they would sit in separate chairs next to you and try to engage you in conversation to keep you from falling asleep.
You lay there, tired and scared. You really wanted to close your eyes and go to sleep but every time your eyes closed for more than a few seconds, one of the girls would shake you back to them.
Trembling and shivering, you had the pressure to cry. You were scared of what was happening to you even though you knew you were safe with your siblings but there was something that unsettled you deeply. "Am I going to die?"
"No my angel. Hopefully you will feel better soon," the young blonde whispered, watching Alex pull out your blood glucose meter and pricked your finger. A slight shock ran through your body and you winced while a few small tears were falling down. "Look, your blood sugar is slowly coming down. We are already at 300," she smiled and showed you the display, which flashed your value. "It still has to fall a bit, then you need a few days of rest and you are back to normal. You will not die"

The Secret Life Of Lena Luthor
Supergirl. Lena Luthor x Reader!
Word Count: 2785.
Lena Luthor has a secret. Probably many of them, but there’s only one that bugs you so much.
Who are those friends of her? Why are they so tight that you feel like they are in some sort of cult? Why does it look like she would die for them? And how come they are always more important than you?
You see, the last one's been bothering you for a while now.
Some time last year.
The world is saved. Again. For the third time this month. And while Lena sits to celebrate with her friends/ teammates she is content. A kind of feeling she hasn’t experienced much before, but that’s been constant ever since the big fight. Ever since Lex is gone gone.
She looks at J’onn and M’gann reminiscing about something from their planet. Looks at Alex and Kelly swooning over something cute she is sure Esmé just did. Nia looks at Brainy as if he is the most interesting being and all of existence. All of them have somebody. Well, she looks at Kara alone. But Kara is never truly alone. She has Supergirl. All these people around her and the people she met in different universes.
But Lena? Outside of this room she barely has anyone. Sam, Ruby, Jess. She scrambles to find more names.
So Lena looks around, more certain than she’s ever been before. She needs someone. Someone outside this group of friends, so she can get back some sort of normality she most certainly lost since she discovered her witchy ancestry and joined the super friends for real.
And then Lena finds you.
You run through the door of the Lena Luthor Foundation, and since she wants to be more hands on with everything, Lena is right there to see it.
“Do you, um, take strays?”
“Strays, ma’am?” The receptionist asks, raising one perfect eyebrow at you. “You mean like, cats?”
“What? No! I mean me.” You smile widely. “I mean, do you take walk-ins? Like, can I just walk in and find myself a station and start working?”
“Oh. Ah.” She looks around for help. Unsure of what to tell you. And because Lena herself is around, she jumps in to help.
“Hi.” Lena shows you her hand. “Lena Luthor. How can I help you,” she looks at both of your hands. No ring. “Miss?”
“Y/N.” You introduce yourself, shaking her hand.
“You want to work on something?”
“Well, you see, I have this idea. It’s really bugging me and keeping me awake at night.” You point at your own face. “I’m sure you can tell. But I don’t have everything I need to work on it. It says online it’s what this foundation is for.”
“Well, we don’t work on everything. Our resources are vast but still limited. There’s a board. If you want to present your idea.” Lena suggests and you shake your head agreeing, then just like that you’re running out of there as fast as you came in. She looks back at the receptionist with a smile. “Strange little cat, that one.”
You don’t give her time to move on from you at all, when you run back in. A prototype in hand, and several loose papers on the other.
“Ok, I’m ready.” You smile at her and she furrows her brows.
“Oh, I didn’t mean right now.”
“Please, ma’am. I need to sleep.” And to demonstrate, only one of your eyes blink. She seems to take pity on you.
“Well then, come in. Let’s see what I can do for you. And please, call me Lena.”
And what she can do for you, is help you with every little thing you need help with. And what you can do for her, is help her see there’s more to life than work and a few friends.
Present days.
“You’re running off.” You mumble. Eyes still shut, voice thick with sleep.
“Emergency. Sorry, my love.” You hear shuffling so you know she is getting ready to run off to her super secret, super important duties.
“What is it this time?” You finally open your eyes and watch her putting her clothes back on. “Kara got stuck on a tree and you have to go get her down?”
“Oh no, my pretty stray cat. I only climb trees to save your pretty butt.” She jokes, coming closer to kiss your lips.
“Lena.” You beg when she moves away from you. “Please stay. Please wake up with me. Please let me make you eggs and a strong coffee.”
“That would be lovely.” You open your mouth to repeat, stay. But she knows it’s coming, so she speaks before you. “Can’t today. Rain check?”
You press your lips together, annoyed at her way to deal with this. But she doesn’t notice, because she’s already running out the door one shoe on, the other one still in hand.
“Have a great day, Lena.”
You don’t want to be jealous of Kara. You’re not even the jealous type. But this whole ‘my friends call and I run out the door’ is not working anymore. Not that it ever did. But recently this has been bugging you extra hard.
And when things bug you this much, you can’t simply forget that easily. You can't even sleep on it.
"Heeey," Lena grabs the bags from your hands, giving you a quick kiss on your way inside. "glad you came, I felt bad leaving you this morning."
"Yeah." You place the rest of the bags on top of the counter. "Maybe we should talk about that."
"Definitely. But after a nice dinner, maybe?" She gives you a little smile, and you're quick to accept.
The talk doesn't come right after dinner, when Lena climbs on your lap and you two start a heavy make out session, you decide it is better to wait a little.
"Shit. Fuck." Lena says out of breath, parting your lips. You look down at your hands still on her waist.
"What? Already?"
"No, not that." Lena laughs, and you notice something vibrating in her pants.
"Oh," You raise your eyebrows playfully. "Someone's packing."
Lena takes her phone out of her pocket, and you roll your eyes at it. She reads the name, and starts apologizing right away. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry." She gets up looking at the phone.
"Are you serious?" You ask, but she is already answering her phone after mouthing one more 'sorry'.
"Kara, I'm in the middle of something really important. This better be a 10 or higher." She paces around the room and you watch her from your place on the couch. "Shit, ok. Ask Supergirl to come pick me up. Yeah, ok. See you soon."
Lena looks at you with pleading eyes, and you look up trying to hold the tears and the anger inside you. "Darling, I'm really sorry, but it's an –"
"Emergency." You complete her sentence and her face drops, looking at you.
"I'm sorry, I'm truly sorry. I know I did the exact same thing this morning…"
"This morning? Lena! You've been running off every time Kara called you ever since I've met you! I don't get it. What's up with all these emergencies? Why is Kara always more important than us?"
Supergirl's feet touch on the balcony and you hear a light tap on the balcony door. She looks embarrassed, like she heard more than she wanted to. She waves lightly and points to the city with her head, so Lena knows it's time to go.
"I promise I'll tell you everything, but I really have to go now."
“If you leave right now, you won’t find me here when you get back.”
“No, please Y/N. Please wait. I’ll tell you everything when I get home, I promise. Please stay, eat dessert, and make yourself at home. I promise I’ll be back soon.”
So you wait. An hour. Two hours. Three hours later and you’ve seen enough of television, eaten enough of her food and got tired of wasting everyone's time. It is clear Lena doesn't take you seriously and that you'll never be her first priority. So you leave.
It's only in the morning when you grab your phone to notice the missing calls and texts from your… girlfriend? Ex? You haven't decided yet. But if you're being honest things aren't looking too hot for her.
Lena has helped you many times before. You have no problem admitting you are where you are right now because of her. If your invention hadn't played out, you wouldn't have found a new job and you wouldn't be working on something you are very passionate about.
But she means more than that to you. With Lena you can talk about anything. You can be your quirky self without any judgements. In fact, you always thought she seemed to appreciate it. Now, you're not so sure.
She's always hiding something. Always running off. One phone call and she is gone. No time to even tell you what she is running towards. You feel like you're dating someone who has a secret life. And you can't help but think you're the secret part.
You're still finding energy to answer her latest text, when you hear the doorbell. You force yourself out of bed, and open the door to see Lena right on the other side.
You furrow your brows, "What are you wearing?"
Lena stares down at her outfit, a large hoodie and sweatpants. "I was fairly uncomfortable in my jeans and so Kara let me borrow something." She looks at the hem of the pants. "She is a lot taller."
"Glad you came to my house wearing some other girl's clothes." You make space for her, because you know she is not leaving and you don't want to have this conversation out in the open.
"It's Kara's." She justifies.
"Yeah, and who's Kara, exactly? Is she just your best friend? Is she your lover? Your dealer? Your boss? Why are you always running out the door when she calls?"
"Those are fair questions. Well, not the dealer and lover part. But I guess I should explain why I always go when she calls.”
You look at your coffee machine. It's too early for this conversation. For the truths you'll inevitably have to listen.
"Coffee?" You ask her, but it's mostly because you need it so badly.
"I'd die for a cup."
You set up the coffee machine while Lena makes her way to the other side of the counter, sitting on one of the high stools to look at you.
"I'm sorry I didn't come back home sooner." Lena starts, and you sigh.
"I stood there like a ghost and I don't even know why."
"I don't want to run off every time, it's just – Sometimes I'm the only one who can help so they call me." You stand there waiting for more, for an explanation. "I told Kara to only call me for real emergencies from now on."
"You know, you said a bunch of stuff, but you still haven't told me what kind of emergencies they need you for."
You're not stupid, it's not like you haven't put two and two together. Supergirl shows up to pick up Lena right after Kara calls for an emergency? Yeah, like they have Supergirl on their speed dial so she can offer Lift services when one of them needs it. It's obvious Lena is a part of a group that helps National City or whatever. It was actually kind of obvious because every time she ran off for an 'emergency', you only had to turn on the news to see something crazy happening in town.
"I'm a part of the Superfriends." She bites her lower lip when you don't show any real reaction. "It's supposed to be a secret."
"Lena, Supergirl showed up at your house yesterday to give you a ride. It wasn't a well-kept secret, anyways."
"Wait, so. You knew?" Lena's voice comes out so shocked it's in a high pitch you have never heard before.
"Had my suspicions, sure." The conversation is briefly put to a stop while you pour coffee for both of you, but even before you have your first sip, Lena speaks.
"I don't understand why you are mad at me then. If you knew all along what I was doing, how could you be mad? How could you think Kara is something other than my friend?"
"Well, first of all, I had my suspicions, but not convictions because you never told me anything so I could've been completely off. And second of all, I didn't know all along. I had to go slowly piecing it together by myself because you wouldn't come out and be honest with me. And third, and most importantly, how can I not be mad when you left me high and dry at your place last night and ran off with Kara again?"
"Nia was hurt! I had to go help out. How could I not have run out?"
"That's not what I'm saying. You don't get it, do you?" She doesn't. She looks at you so damn lost you know for sure she doesn't get it at all. "I'm not telling you shouldn't go help your friends. I'm asking you to just tell me about it. Don't tell me that you have to go because you have an emergency. Tell me Nia is hurt and I will tell you to go help her, I'll offer you my help. I not only won't be upset about you leaving, but I'll admire you even more."
You round the counter, looking at her with doe-eyes.
"I'm tired of this double-life. It's like you're two different people. I – I don't know what to tell you, I just feel like I'm dating a CIA agent who's been lying to me about who she is. And it sucks."
Lena blinks. "I know." Because she didn't even realize what she was doing in the first place, but now that you have laid all on the table for her, it makes more sense than ever. She felt the same thing before and she can't believe she's been doing the same thing. "God, I know how you feel. And I'm sorry I kept you in the dark. You have every reason to be upset. Please forgive me. I promise I will be completely honest from now on."
"That's all I'm asking."
"Well," Lena looks at your coffee mug to see you didn't have much of it. "Why don't you drink some more? I feel like you'd have to be pretty awake for what I have to say next."
"Oh…kay?" You gulp on your coffee and look at her wide-eyed.
"Well, it's complicated. But, more than a year ago, before we met, I set out to find more things about my mother." Lena says and you agree with your head, because she has told you before all of her story and the fact that she lost her mom when she was younger. "It turns out that my mother was a witch."
"Huh?"
She takes a deep breath. "And so am I."
"You're a what, now?"
"You wanted the whole truth." Lena smiles sheepish and you furrow your brows hard at your new discovery. Yep, you didn't see this one coming. Honestly, if she had told you Kara was Supergirl, you would've been a lot less surprised.
"I did, didn't I?" It's a lot to process, but you take one good look at Lena and you know it took everything in her to tell you this, and so, even though you don't truly understand what it means and what she does exactly, you know she needs support right now. "So my girlfriend is a witch and a genius and she is part of the Superfriends, and helps out with saving the world and stuff?"
"I guess you could put it like that." She says, tentatively.
"You're awesome, Lena. I'm happy you told me everything. It helps me understand you a lot better, and it only makes me love you more."
Lena's eyebrows raise and she can't help her surprised face, "You love me?"
"Yeah, I do. I love you."
"I love you too, my little stray cat."
You feel your worries melt away in the kiss and you're happy Lena trusts you enough to tell you about this other part of her life. It also feels good to know her secret and where she runs off to everytime. Plus, how did you get so lucky? She's hot, she's smart, she's a goddamn goddess and she also saves the world? She is more than you could ever dream, and you’re so glad she is yours.

There was an anti-Superman rally led by Gordon Godfrey. His mistrust in their hero from the stars, and this was his platform to push his own agenda onto the people of Metropolis. Perry White tasked Y/N and Clark to cover this press conference, since Lois had more important stories to write about. It was all going well until a billboard promoting the anti-Superman campaign came crashing down onto the innocent people and before Clark could superspeed into his costume and save everyone as Superman, the billboard stopped in mid-air.
Clark watched in surprise and shock as he, and everyone, including Y/N, were saved by a woman with black hair and brown skin. She was also wearing a suit similar to Superman's. And what's worse; Y/N recognized this woman. He swallowed hard and looked at the taller and older male. "Mr. Kent? Isn't that your cousin?" A couple of months back, Clark had introduced his cousin to Y/N and Lois when she made an unexpected visit to the Daily Planet. Now, apparently she was a superhero? Wait, did that mean that Mr. Kent was...? Clark looked at Kara as she looked down at him and winked before she flew off with the billboard. And there was one thing that he could be sure of. Kara just blew not only her secret identity to Y/N, but possibly his own as Superman.

The Moonlight Chronicles (Alex Danvers x Reader)
Summary: A weekend escape away from National City and the DEO leads to an unexpected adventure.
Words: 1684
Warnings: Blood, mentions of violence
A/N: So, this is kind of a series but it will be completely out of order and not really set up to be a set story, per se. It was suppose to be a smut one shot and instead, I created way too much backstory. And here we are.

Sipping the rum from her tumbler slowly, Alex’s eyes lingered on the flickering television screen but she couldn’t tell begin to tell someone what she’d seen. Lost in thoughts of danger and regret, she was oblivious to the world outside of her mind.
She’d taken the weekend off, disappearing into the mountains and renting a cabin in hopes of shaking the distress from her soul. Being the director of an organization like the DEO was taking its toll on her but she refused to acknowledge it. She couldn’t let Kara down or let J’onn question if he made the right choice.
It would devastate her.
Taking another drink from the crystal, she nearly dropped it in surprise as something thudded against the side of the cabin – hard. Tossing her glass onto the table beside her, paying it no mind as the amber liquor sloshed onto the wood, she yanked her gun from its holster on her thigh before hurrying out into the moonlit night. Peeking around the side of the cabin, she could just barely make out a slumped shadow leaning against the wall. Even in the shade of darkness, blood was visibly dripping from a gnarled wound in the middle of its chest and for a moment, Alex’s gaze softened.
She inched closer, wincing as a twig snapped beneath the weight of her boot, but the creature didn’t seem to react. Heavy pants filled the air, an occasional whine meeting perked ears, but nothing more.
As the light of the moon drifted over the shadow against her cabin, Alex had to swallow her noise of shock. It was a wolf, but… larger. More humanlike than the wolves she’d seen before. It was standing on its back legs, crimson soaking the fur on its chest, but what caught her by surprise was the recognition in golden eyes. They regarded her with a knowing glance before rolling back into its skull as it fell limply to the ground.
Stepping towards the creature, she watched in astonishment as the fur began to recede back into flesh and the body slowly shrink from its nearly eight foot height into the form of a humanoid woman. The sound of bones reconnecting nearly sent her stomach rushing up through her throat, but she managed to choke it back. The blood spilling from her chest seemed to slow, yet the puddle was still growing around her.
“Of course I couldn’t have a vacation away from weird shit,” Alex grumbled, moving over to the woman and bending down. “At least she’s not a wolf anymore.”
-X-
The first thing you noticed when consciousness dragged you from your dreamless slumber was the ache in the center of your chest that spanned across both sides of your breasts. Whining low under your breath, your human hand reached up to touch the abused flesh, only to touch bandage instead. Eyes snapping open, you forced yourself to remain motionless.
You were staring at a ceiling. A ceiling that was not your own. There was a ceiling where the sky should be.
“What the fuck?” you mumbled, carefully righting yourself and glancing around.
The first thing you noticed was that the couch you were sprawled across was fucking hideous. It clashed with the rustic atmosphere of the cabin. Lip curling, you plucked at a piece of fuzz on the cushion.
“That thing is ugly, right? It’s not just me?” an unfamiliar voice broke you from your thoughts, sending you careening off the couch and onto the floor with a resounding thud. “Jesus, be careful! You just stopped bleeding!”
Gaze hazy with pain as the dull ache roared into searing agony, short dark hair and hazel eyes came into view when the unknown voice stepped around the couch and leaned over you worriedly. She was staring down at you, trepidation and concern warring in those… pretty… eyes…
“Wow,” you whispered, feeling the wolf within tremble and lurch. For a moment, you feared it would escape, but the second gentle hands touched your wrapped chest, it went silent. In that moment, it was simply you and her, trapped in the quiet of such an intimate act (especially between two complete strangers).
“Here, let’s get you back on the couch. I think you reopened those wounds.”
Helping you back onto the cushion you’d violently vacated, practiced fingers unwound the gauze and bandage holding your torso. You could feel the sticky ooze grasping at the cloth, trying to keep its place on your body, but the woman was steady and completely at ease as she tugged it away.
“I’m Alex,” she murmured, studying the leaking claw marks. “What are you? An alien? Metahuman?”
“Werewolf,” you grunted, gritting your incredibly sharp teeth as she touched along the raw edges of the gashes. “Born, not bitten. Been like this my whole life, so I’m not a danger to you. The beast is well under control.”
Alex’s fingers stilled. “I hadn’t thought otherwise, honestly. I thought if you were going to attack me, you already would have.”
Startled by the blind trust, you slowly nodded. “I’m (Y/N).”
It was odd, how easily this woman had accepted your supernatural abilities. Most humans turned tail the second something like you came too close, yet here she was, cleaning your bloody chest like it was an everyday occurrence.
“Why?”
Beautiful irises flickered up to meet yours, a lazy smile upturning Alex’s pretty pink lips. “I’m the director of an organization that monitors extraterrestrial entities and presences on Earth. And before that, I worked as a scientist. I’ve seen and fought far scarier beings than you. When I found you last night, you didn’t lash or try to attack me. And it seemed like you trusted me not to kill you even as you passed out, so I thought I’d do what I could to help. I don’t know what your physiology is like, but I figured basic trauma care would be okay.”
“I heal quickly,” you offered with a chuckle, though your amusement was short-lived. “Or, I usually do. I spent a lot of fucking energy last night trying to escape that…”
Noticing the hesitation, Alex’s brow arched curiously. “Escape what?”
Eyes jerking between hers, you considered your options. She already knew too much, but you couldn’t stop yourself from spilling everything. Anything she asked, you’d tell – and you had no idea why. There was something about her that felt safe and calming, like finding the shore after a shipwreck.
“I am a lone wolf. Kicked out of my pack for refusing to bow to some prick who thought he was the rightful alpha of our pack. And he… found me last night. I escaped but he did a number on me, unfortunately.” Pausing for a moment, you realized how that might’ve sounded and hurriedly continued, “But he shouldn’t come here! I wouldn’t put someone else in danger like that.”
Alex nodded thoughtfully. “Of all the things I expected to find in the middle of nowhere, warring werewolves was not one of them. I thought I’d see deer or foxes or… hell, maybe even an alien. Not that.”
“Most people don’t,” you acknowledged with an uncomfortable snort, looking away as Alex finished cleaning your chest. “…so, director of an alien organization, huh? What’s that like? How does that even happen?”
“My dad and mom are both scientists. They found themselves in employment with some people who worked with the organization and that put me on their list once I went to college and showed an aptitude for some of the more delicate pieces of the job.”
Her shrug was meant to be nonchalant but it seemed forced – a deflection – but you didn’t acknowledge it, grateful for whatever truths she chose to offer.
“Huh, smart and beautiful. A helluva combination.”
Alex’s cheeks grew hot beneath the earnestness of your words, amazed by how sincere you seemed to be. She couldn’t deny it was thrilling to be called beautiful by someone who exuded such confidence and dominant energy.
(And she couldn’t deny that she thought you were stunning. For Rao’s sake, she was only human and you were naked. There was only so much she could do!)
“I’m here for the weekend. Why don’t you stay and heal? We can get to know each other better,” she suggested with a hopeful grin, eyes lowering bashfully as she admitted, “It’s been kind of lonely up here by myself and I wouldn’t mind the company.”
Excitement surged through you as if it were lightning in your veins, grinning at the prospect of spending time with your savior. Tilting your head in acceptance, your grin grew sheepishly apologetic. “I’d like that. I uh… should warn you, though. I might end up eating most of your food? Werewolf metabolism and stuff.”
Patting your bare stomach, trying to ignore the flex of muscle beneath her fingertips, Alex smirked. “That is nothing new for me. I come prepared for things like that.”
Storing that information away for another day, you peered down at the digits absently stroking your abdomen. She didn’t seem to realize she was even doing it, but you could feel the subtle press inward as your muscles flinched and tensed beneath her touch. Dull nails tickled the soft flesh, but you didn’t mind. Her caress was soothing yet invigorating and you wanted nothing more than to trace your own fingers over her slightly tanned skin.
Brow arching, you chuckled as the fingers continued their nonsensical patterns. “Could I get some clothes? Mine were shredded and I don’t think you want me walking around naked for the next couple days.”
Oh, you have no idea.
“Y-yeah, I can do that,” Alex rasped, finally dragging her hand away from its perch. “Give me a second and then I’ll make breakfast.”
Licking your lips, you watched her stagger off the couch and into what you assumed was a bedroom. Maybe this was a stupid idea. Maybe you would only place her into danger, but you were a selfish creature by nature.
The wolf wanted her – and for once, you might just be in agreement.

Kara Danvers x Reader (Gender-Neutral)
Request - Can I request fluff for Supergirl Kara Danvers x Reader who is a Saiyan like from Dragon Ball; and how they bond over how similar and different they are? Like how Krypton was once seen as a shining beacon for the galaxy, while the Saiyans were fearing across the galaxy as being planet conquering savages. Kryptonians focused more on furthering science and exploration, while the Saiyan loved nothing more than combat and getting stronger.
Tumblr media
You are training with Kara, usually like training with your best friend. But she knew something was wrong and she stopped.
“What’s wrong, Y/n?” Kara asked.
“I just miss my home planet,” You said.
You sit on the ground and she sits next to you.
“There are times I feel like that. I miss my old home and everyone that I used to know” Kara said.
“How do you keep going?” You asked.
“It can be hard sometimes. I wonder what if it didn't happen, would I have met Alex and my friends differently? There are a lot of what-ifs, but you are not alone and you shouldn't bottle up all the time. If you want to talk about it, I'm here for you” Kara said.
“You are like that green alien the small one, because you always know what to say” You smiled.
“You mean Yoda” Kara laughed.
“I don't think that's his name. But, I miss everyone so much” You said.
Kara puts her arms around you for comfort. You and Kara stood up and went back to training. You went Super Saiyan and you smirked at Kara.
“Just because you can change your hair color, doesn't mean I'm scared,” Kara said.
“I don't expect you to be scared,” You said.
You start to fight with Kara. Your punches are going faster but Kara starts to catch up and she blocks your punches. But you and Kare keep going, you use telekinesis to move a boulder to hit Kara. But she used her heat vision to destroy the boulder.
“That’s all you can do?” Kara asked.
“Nice, thinking on your feet” You smirked.
You moved back then you got into form, then your power starts to from Destructo Disc. A razor-sharp disc of golden ki that can slice through almost any substance.
“I really hate that move,” Kara sighed.
She starts to dodge your attacks now you start to go faster.
You and Kara trained for hours, but you two are not tired. But back at the deo, Lena and Winn were explaining something but you got confused. Because the conversation was about science you pretended to know the topic. But you made no sense but Kara knew, and you tried to pretend again.
✯ ✯ ✯ ✬
You went to Kara’s apartment and you gave her a bag. A little while ago, you and Kara stopped Lex’s robots and Kara got hurt.
“What is this?” Kara asked.
“They are called Senzu Beans, which helps us Saiyans heal faster during battles. Try it and you will feel it” You smiled.
“I never heard of Senzu beans before,” Kara said.
She ate two senzu beans and she can feel her body healing fast.
“Wow, Y/n! These beans are like magic. I feel much better” Kara smiled.
“See! Since you are feeling better… maybe we can get something to eat?” You said shyly.
“Yes, we can and I will call Alex,” Kara said.
“Keep the bag in case you need it” You smiled.
She hugged you and you hugged her back. You and Kara met Alex at a restaurant and you always order a lot of food.
———
You are training with Alex and Kara but you try to be careful with Alex. You don't want to hurt her so you hold your powers back. Alex teaches you how to fight without your powers.
“Y/n, we are going to have a game night at my place you should join us,” Kara said.
“I like that idea,” You said.
Kara used her super strength to throw a car at you, but you moved out of the way by using teleportation. Now, Kara and Alex start to attack at the same time but you block their attacks.
——
You like game nights with them. You are always having fun and there are always snacks. You always try to beat Alex in each board game, because sometimes she is on a winning streak
✯ ✯ ✯ ✬
It's Halloween night, and you and Kara have on costumes. Kara wants you to experience trick or treat, and you quickly say yes. You are dressed as a pirate and Kara is dressed as a vampire. You and Kara are also taking Alex’s daughter to get candy. Your bag is halfway full
“Wow, people on Halloween are very nice,” You said.
“I think we have enough candies and we should go home,” Kara said.
“Please can we get more candies?” You begged.
You give her the puppy eyes and she tries not to give in.
“Fine! Let's get more candy” Kara said.
You smiled then you wrapped your arms around her and picked her up.
“Y/n, Y/n put me down,” Kara said.
“You are the best friend ever!” You yelled.
You gently put her down. She did keep he promise and you got more candy, then went home with her. You start to eat half of the bag then Kara takes it away, so you can save some for tomorrow.

A Monstrous Introduction - Legion Of Superheroes
Chimera!Male Reader X Kara Danvers
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A inhuman roar is heard throughout the campus as Mon-El hears it, so does Supergirl and Superman as they were both confused on what can make that sound, but Mon-El knew who.
Mon-El: Uh oh, he knows. He must’ve seen you arrive as he’s closing in right now.
Supergirl: Who’s he?
Mon-El: He? Oh, I think you’re about to meet the strongest student here, and the most fearsome.
The trio suddenly hear something big land behind them as they slowly turn to see to Supergirl’s shock, a giant silver robotic gorilla as blades come out of his arms, ready for a fight.
Tumblr media
????: Who are you, Kryptonian. Speak now, or I’m gonna be the Maximal who’s gonna rip out your spark!
Mon-El: Chimera! Stand down! She’s not with Zod! She’s new here for Daxam’s sake.
Superman: Is he always like this?
Mon-El: After Zod, yes. He’s an Alpha for a reason, and a leader.
Chimera taps a strange symbol on his chest, causing him to change into a teenage boy with E/C and H/C.
????: Sorry ‘bout that. Needed to let off some steam. Who’s the gorgeous blonde girl dressed like a cheerleader?
Superman: This is my cousin; Kara Zoe-El.
Supergirl: Call me Supergirl.
????: Oh, we’re giving up our secret identities. Call me Y/N L/N aka Chimera. King of Beasts and God of Monsters. I could use a new training partner, especially one of your type. Sorry, I apologise.
Supergirl: It’s okay, be yourself as you want.

***10 years later***
Retirement had never felt so good. After almost 15 years of traveling and making music, it was finally time to unplug the guitar from the amp. You made many memories as you traveled across the world. It was truly an experience you were never going to forget, but it was time to settle down. Your bandmates felt the same. All of you had partners and families. You, yourself, had a daughter and a wife, and you missed them every time you went on tour. It wasn’t enough for you to see them during Facetime. The phone calls weren’t enough anymore. You were missing out on crucial milestones with your daughter. You missed her first words and her first steps. You didn’t want to miss anything anymore. So, after one last farewell tour, where you said goodbye to your fans, you spent the rest of your time with your daughter, Ruby, and your wife, Sam.
You loved your family. Ruby had such a personality for a little kid. She was curious. Good lord, was she curious. She got into everything, climbed on anything. She asked loads of questions about anything she laid her big brown eyes on, and you loved it. You let her explore. You let her question whatever she wanted and answered everything as best as you could. You let her be autonomous, and as she got bigger, you discovered just how intelligent she was. The things she used to build with her legos were astonishing. At Sam’s suggestion, you both taught her how to read and write, and within a month, she was already writing her name. Honestly, her intellect scared you a little.
“What the hell did you eat while you were pregnant?” you often asked your wife, and every time she would laugh and kiss your cheek.
“Must have been the spinach and mini wheats.”
By the time Ruby reached kindergarten, her teacher was astonished by her wit and intelligence. She was miles ahead of the other kids except for one other person. Her friend, Alexa. Ruby had so much to say about her new friend. It was always “Alexa taught me a new way to tie my shoes” or “Alexa taught me how to say hello in French.”
“You’re making Alexa sound like a superstar,” you said to her once. You watched as her eyes lit up with excitement and admiration.
“She’s the best, Mommy! I think you would like her if you met her.”
You smiled and kissed her cheek. “I’ll tell you what. If you want to make a play date with her, I’m game.”
“Really?!” she practically screamed, and you winced a bit as her voice pierced your ear drums.
“Of course, baby girl. Let’s make it happen.”
And she did make it happen. That was how you ended up in the park right now. You and Ruby arrived at the park before Alexa and her parents did, so you told her to go play until her friend got here. You sat on the park bench with an acoustic guitar in your lap and you strummed a few cords as the wind blew through the vibrantly green leaves. You watched your daughter play with some other kids, smiling at the way she was having fun. She was the light of your life, and you were so happy to be a part of hers. After a few moments, you heard her giggle, and you looked up to her running towards a little girl in the parking lot. She just made it out of her car before Ruby wrapped her little arms around her body and scooped her up into a bear hug. The little girl screamed as she hugged her back and you smiled fondly at the interaction. Ruby put her down and pulled her towards you.
“You gotta meet my Mommy!”
You chuckled when you saw two little girls run to stand in front of you. Next to Ruby stood Alexa, and when you looked into her eyes, you were overcome with the strongest wave of recognition. They were an effervescent shade of emerald green, and she gave you a sweet but shy smile.
“Hi, my name is Alexa,” she said politely.
“Hello, Alexa. My name is Y/n, and I am so happy to meet you. This one over here,” you said as you winked at your daughter. “Had so many wonderful things to say about you.”
She blushed a little as she played with her hands shyly.
“The day is all about you two. Go have fun.”
Ruby started to pull her away and Alexa let her, but before she could get out of earshot, she looked at you. “My mom plays your music all the time. I really like your voice.”
You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion but thanked her, nonetheless. What a small world that her mom happened to know of you. You went back to strumming lazily. You played one of your old songs, the strings producing hushed melodious music that carried in the slight wind. As you watched the girls and played, you heard footsteps approaching you from behind.
“I haven’t heard that song in a really long time.”
You paused as your eyes widened. Were your ears playing tricks on you? Because you knew that voice. You turned around to meet the same green eyes her daughter had.
“Lena?”
“Hey stranger,” she said with a flawless smile.
You put down the guitar and stood up. “Oh my god. Oh my god! I haven’t seen you in forever!”
Lena approached you excitedly and gave you a polite hug. “How have you been?”
“Good,” you said. “How have you been?”
“Busy,” she answered truthfully.
“I can only imagine. You’re running an entire company. Congrats for that by the way!”
“Thank you! But it’s not just one,” she said as she held up two fingers and wiggled them.
“Two?!” you exclaimed incredulously. “What’s the other one?”
“CatCo. I recently bought it and I’m having someone else run L-Corp for me.”
“This person. Is her name Sam?”
Lena’s eyebrows flew up. “Oh! You know her?”
"She's my wife!” you said with a laugh.
Lena laughed as well, but you watched her gaze shift to your left hand. She stared at your ring long enough for you to notice and you chuckled awkwardly.
“What are the odds that your daughter would know mine?” Lena asked as she sat down next to you on the picnic table.
You could only shrug. “Small world or crazy odds. We should go play a lottery.”
Lena smirked as she looked at you. You looked good. The years were kind to you. You no longer had the baby face she loved once upon a time ago. Your features were more angular and mature. Even when wearing a leather coat, a band tee, and jeans, she could tell that you still took care of yourself.
You looked at Lena and smiled. The years were kind to her as well. She radiated a confidence she didn’t have when you knew her. She stood up straighter, carried herself better. Lena looked good.
“What’s happened in your world?” you asked her.
She shrugged nonchalantly. “Running businesses. Taking care of my partner. Keeping that one busy,” she said with a chuckle as she motioned to her daughter.
“Are you still with Kara?”
When you mentioned her name, Lena’s smile faltered a little, but she nodded. You looked down to see the modest ring on her left hand and you smiled. The air was silent as you watched your daughter play with hers.
“Y/n, I wanted to say I’m sorry,” Lena blurted suddenly.
You stared at her, her apology catching you off guard as you regarded her with wide, confused eyes.
“We just got here,” you replied with a hesitant chuckle. “What are you sorry for?”
“I’m sorry for what I did back then. To you, I mean.”
“Oh…”
She nodded as she went quiet for a few heartbeats. Then, she took a deep breath.
“I hurt you. Deeply. And I’m sorry.”
You listened to her, your eyes meeting hers.
“I accept your apology, Lena,” you told her. “We were both young with no real clue about what we wanted. I didn’t know it at the time, but I really was focused on the band. I wanted to travel the world, and see new things, and see new sites. I don’t blame you for leaving,” you said honestly with a shrug. “You had needs and they weren’t being met.”
Lena nodded. “I could have done it better. I shouldn’t have broken up with you over the phone while you were on tour.”
“Yeah, that kind of sucked,” you said as you laughed, and Lena offered a sad smile. “But I don’t hold that against you. As often as I was on tour, it wasn’t like you had many opportunities to break up with me properly.”
Lena snorted and looked away, her smile wide as she played with her hands nervously. You looked at her and gently bumped your shoulder against hers playfully.
“Water under the bridge?”
She nodded. “I would really like it if we could be friends.”
Right as she said it, you heard loud screaming and giggling as the girls played on the slide.
“I think I’d like that. It seems that we won’t be able to separate our kids from each other. I wouldn’t want anything between us to affect them, regardless.”
Lena nodded and was quiet again. “Can I ask you something?”
“Of course,” you answered.
“If it’s personal, you don't have to answer.”
“It’s okay, Lena,” you reassured her.
She swallowed thickly as she looked at the grass. “What did you do with the wedding ring?”
You instantly knew what she was talking about. “I still have it,” you answered truthfully. “Sam knows about the things that happened between us and I told her that I couldn’t part with it.”
“Why not?”
You shrugged. “I struggled after you left, Lee,” you admitted quietly.
Lena smiled softly at the nickname you used for her back when you were together. She put a comforting hand on your shoulder.
“I struggled a lot. I struggled with strong negative feelings, both towards you and myself. My band mates convinced me to do virtual therapy and it was then that things did start to get better. At first, that ring was a source of resentment, but as time went on and my perspective about everything that we went through changed, it became a source of nostalgia.”
You contemplated whether saying your next words out loud was a good idea. You didn’t know if it was, and almost decided against it.
But one thing that you wished you had was closure. True closure. There was the very last night you talked to her, but you had practically thrown her out in the rain. What you thought was closure had been your attempt at retaliation. After that, in your stubbornness, you wanted nothing more to do with her. You didn’t even want to hear her name again. You did a lot of unhealthy things to cope, things you weren’t proud of. That was what led you to therapy. It took time, but once your feelings changed, you wanted to call Lena and apologize. You didn’t get that chance then.
But you had it now.
“I loved you, Lena,” you said as you looked at her. “I did. I just didn’t love you right and I’m sorry.”
Lena nodded. She patted your shoulder before she removed her hand. You both watched your kids silently for the next few moments before she said her next sentence.
“Water under the bridge.”

Tumblr media
“Mom?” You asked, entering your home. “Hey honey, how was your day?” She said, closing her book and leaving it on the coach, she walked toward you to give you a hung. “It was good. Umm, I had a question.” You said, looking up at her. “Shoot.” “Can I go to the mall with some friends tomorrow after school, we would walk?” She looks at you and smirk. “Is Ben coming with you?” You rolled your eyes and shock your head. “No, I told you Ben and I aren't together.” “I never said you were, why are you on the defensive, do you have something to hide, Missy.” She questioned, still not believing you. "Mom come on, can I go?” You asked, trying to change the subject a bit. “Sure, but you need to be back before 7.” “Yes, thank you.”
The next day at the mall
“So, have you told your mom yet?” Ben asked as you walked hand in hand. “No, not yet, but ill do someday.” “Why don't you want to tell her? Are you maybe ashamed of me? It's fine if you are, I'm not mad.” You looked at him and smiled. “Of course I'm not ashamed of you, I would love for my mom to meet you.” You said, giving him a quick kiss on his lips. “It's just that my mom is extremely protective, it's a little intense sometimes. Especially my aunt, oh my god if she meets you, she will interrogate you for at least 3h hours.” He laughs and shock his hand in disbelief. “I'm sure, it's not that bad.” “It is, it really is, but ill tell her eventually.”
You guys continued to walk around the mall and visits some stores for a few hours. When you got back home, you say Kara waiting for you on the couch. “So, how was your activity with Ben.” She said with a smirk. “Are you ever going to give up, I'm not with Ben.” "Yeah, right." She said and got up from the couch and she showed you her phone, there was a picture of you and Ben on a bench, you had your head on his shoulder. You were stunned for a second.
How did she get that picture? “How did you get that. Did you follow me there?” “I actually didn't, but I have spies working for me. But don't change the subject, do you have something to say to me.” “No because this picture doesn't prove anything, we're just good friends.” Your mom smiled again, you swipe to the next image, this time you were kissing on that same bench. “Yeah, excellent friends.” You were about to defense yourself again but decided against it, you sight. “Fine, we're together, we have been together for like a month now.” “I knew it, why didn't you want to tell me?” You looked at her and chuckled. “You really don't have an idea?” she shook her head. “You are intense when it comes to people I see.” “No, I am not.” You raised an eyebrow. “Remember Kyle? You and Alex interrogate him for like 10 minutes.” “We just wanted to make sure he was good for you, I want nothing but the best for you.” She said, hugging you.”
“I know mom.” You said, hugging her back. “But you're going to have to tone it down because he really wants to come over this weekend and I don't want you to freak him out.” “Oh he's coming over great ok. And yes, I will try to tone it down.” She said, “thank you.”
Honestly you should've known she'd never tone it down, in fact she didn't try to.

Alex doesn't tell this fact to many people but her and B!D are both deathly allergic to bees and wasps. B!D is also allergic to peanuts.
Tumblr media
A/n: This was probably just a little HC thingy but I wanted to do a little blurb to this because I really love this idea.
---
"Dammit, fuck ouch!"
Your sudden yelp made Maggie drop her fork in shock and look up from her meal. She glanced at you questioningly and watched you clutch your upper arm tightly as if you were trying to save this spot from something.
"What happened?" Maggie asked as she bent closer to you over the table to assess what had happened to you. But she knew that you didn´t hear anything from her question- you were too agitated to even listen and she couldn´t quite understand it.
"I just got stung by a wasp- shit." you said slowly, the panic clearly audible in your shaky voice.
"Ouch Baby Danvers.. I guess you have to embrace your destiny as a Wasp-Girl now." The brunette laughed and pushed your hands away with her fingers to take a closer look at the wound. At first glance, it looked like a normal wasp sting that she had to live through several times.
However, the wound turned red quickly and began to pulsate and swell uncomfortably beneath her fingers. "Wait… You´re not allergic are you?"
"I am deadly allergic to wasps. In fact, Alex and I are. One sting can kill us and send both of us to afterlife if action is not taken immediately." you stated and she simply nodded while pulling out her phone to inform Supergirl to pick you up and take you to the hospital for treatment.
The brunette was shocked by the sudden turnaround of this lunch and she realized once again how quickly something beautiful could turn into something unexpected and life-threatening. But at the same time she was also mad at her girlfriend and you for not telling her about your allergy- after all it was important to act properly when something like this happened.
"Maggie, my legs start to tingle and I think my tongue is swelling up. You need to hurry, now."

Word Count: 2550.
Porwergirl should die. Someone should kill her.
The suit is skin tight, it clings so forcefully onto you as if it's trying to become part of you. But this other skin, just simply doesn’t fit right over your bones.
There is a huge House of El crest over your chest, in its golden glory. It weighs down on your skin, heavy and sacred. It should help you feel at ease. It doesn’t. It feels like it’s burning your skin like a branding iron.
Kryptonian?
Yes.
Super powers?
Yes.
You’re a superhero. Next, please!
Kara stands tall next to you, hand on your shoulder. “Would you look at that,” your sister smiles brightly at you. “Mother and father would be so proud of you, mini me.”
Kara has called you that your whole life, but you never felt so little as you do right now. You've also never felt so much like Kara. Crumpled up inside this supersuit to fit someone else’s dream. You don’t think your parents would be very proud of you now.
“Kara, this feels odd.” You try to lift the suit from your skin, that is so snuggled up it barely leaves you room to breathe. “I-I look like you.”
“I know!” She proudly squeaks. “I asked Winn to only change the colors. How do you feel about the white, red and blue?”
“Like a walking American flag.” You wince at the thought. You like the white, it’s a little more sober than the blue in Kara's suit, it also reminds you of the vest you used to wear back in Krypton. The red cape feels like they've ripped a piece of Kara’s and placed it on your back. The high blue boots are uncomfortable and the matching gloves are just plain stupid.
“You certainly don’t look like one.” Alex chimes in from behind you, and you turn around, sick of the sight of you in the mirror. “Honestly sis, I like this suit. I think it might be even better than Kara’s.”
“I wouldn’t go that far, mine has history.”
“Yours is a copy of Superman’s.”
“That’s what I mean, history.”
You watch your sister’s bickering with faint attention because they both would never say how ridiculous you look with this dull, hideous, comical outfit.
But it didn’t matter how foolish you looked, or how stupid you felt. There was no way out of this. Kara said you looked perfect and Alex agreed. J’onn, who’s been the closest thing to a father to you on this planet, gave you a stiff smile when asked what he thought. He could read your mind, remember? That’s what he thought about it. And Winn was just over the moon with his creation. No way out. From that day on, you’re Powergirl.
It hasn’t been long since you started being Powergirl. You’re still not the most prominent face of the Supers, thank God for that. You do the easy jobs while Kara takes on the real bad guys. You follow her lead. Obey to what Alex tells you to do over the comm that is permanently stuck in your ear. As if you couldn’t hear her from miles and miles away.
But with every passing day, it becomes even more obvious to you that you were really not cut out for this superhero life. Not good at it. Not happy with it. Not fit for it.
The very opposite of Kara, actually. Because Kara fits everywhere and with everyone. She fits perfectly in her suit, with her alias. Perfectly at her job at CatCo, as a news reporter. And ever since she landed on Earth she created her perfect family, story, life on this planet.
You, on the other hand, wish everyday you were still at Krypton. You are well aware that if you stayed behind, that if your parents hadn't made Kara snuggle your smaller form against her own body on that pod, you would have exploded. You wouldn't be alive today. And you wish people knew you don't want to be dead, you just wish your planet hadn't exploded in the first place.
Sure Kara feels the same. Yet she makes a name for herself and gives back to this planet that took you both in so willingly, that gave you both powers because of its sun. Kara is just different.
"Mother would want us to use our powers for good." She would whisper to you in the dark, whenever the Danvers would tell you to not use your powers. Whenever they asked you to fit in completely. "Father spent so much time trying to stop our planet from deteriorating, don't you think that if he had powers he would use them to make that happen?"
She would ask you questions that didn't feel like questions. That required no answers at all. Kara would tell you what she knew about them, use them as arguments to explain to you (convince even) why you had to become a superhero too.
And you would lay there in the dark, after your sister was asleep, looking at the long dead stars, and wondering whether she was right. Whether that was your parents' plans all along or just a sad coincidence.
"Powergirl." You hear Kara's voice early in the morning while you're still trying to brew yourself a cup of coffee. "I need you for a second."
"It's too early in the morning and I have to get ready for work." You press on your comm to answer. "Can't you deal with it alone?"
"Hm, no. I need you to come here now."
You let out a huge sigh, trying to ease your own mind. Coffee will wait, you guess. You're out of your pj's, into your suit, and out of the house in a blur. You stop next to Kara while she stares at a billboard.
"What?" You can't help the harshness of your tone as you see no emergency around her.
Kara says nothing. Only points at the billboard and you finally take note of it. Written in large red colors, the sentence: Powergirl should die.
Huh.
"It seems that you have an enemy." Kara says when time enough has passed for you to read the sentence over a few times. "Don't worry, we'll catch them."
Cute. It's your first thought. It's almost like someone wrote you a love letter, au contraire.
Kara makes an effort to tear it all down, destroy the billboard before anyone sees it. You don't help her, stuck inside your own mind, replaying the words in your head.
"No need to worry." She assures you, hand on your shoulder to get you out of your trance. "No one will do you any harm, mini me. I'd never let anyone hurt you."
"Thanks, Kar." You look at your watch on your wrist. "Work calls." And so you fly home.
You try to lodge that sentence in the back of your mind. You don't wanna seem stressed out, even though you are. But showing how actually worried you are about it, and with the fact that someone is coming for you, it's inconceivable.
Kara would worry. Alex would stress. Ooof, you can see it all playing out. Sleepovers and excuses for you to miss work and hang at the DEO headquarters so they can keep an eye on you, until you're feeling suffocated.
No, no. You can't go through that. It's been a while since you and your sisters shared a bedroom. You don't think you three can do that again now that you're grown ups.
It happens again. You don't see it, but you hear the agents commenting about it, a couple days later. They get muted the second you fly in the DEO, which is not only annoying but foolish. You do have super hearing after all.
"So, where was it this time?" You ask Alex, while she tries to avoid looking at you.
"Where's what?" She tries, and you furrow your brows.
"Winn, put it on the monitor." You ask coming closer. Winn looks at Alex as if asking for permission, but you don't give her time to deny him. "Come on, I heard the agents. I'm still Kryptonian even if I'm not a Super."
Winn huffs. "On the tallest building of National City." The photo goes up on the large TV in front of you, and you swallow deep.
Powergirl should die.
"Y/N," Alex talks in a low tone so the agents around can't hear her. "it's not personal."
"Looks personal." You cross your arms, turning your back at the TV. "Someone wanting me dead sounds like it's as personal as it can get."
"Supergirl is looking into it, I promise we'll catch whoever did this."
"Alex, please." You pass her on your way to the training room. "You know damn well my favorite thing about you is that you don't lie."
"You've lost too many punching bags." You hear a voice behind your back, and you breathe deep before turning around.
"Just training a little." You look at the number of destroyed bags by your feet and decide that it's true, there's too many, even though that's what they're here for.
"Alex told me about the message." Kara approaches you slowly, trying to test the territory. She can see your distress, but doesn't know the extent of it. And she won't, because you're definitely going to fake it.
"Yeah, tall building. They got the writing off quickly, though. So no major problems."
"Honey," Kara's voice is even sweeter now, if that's possible. "I'll catch them. I'll be patrolling tonight. No one's coming for you."
"I'm not worried." You smile at your lie, or half of lie for what it's worth. Knowing that Kara will be patrolling the city helps. You know your sister would never let anything bad happen to you. And it's very unlikely that anyone on this planet could easily defeat two Kryptonians.
Kara also smiles, and brings you into her arms for a hug. And you breathe out, calmer. Kara's arms have kept you safe from many perils. Spaceship lost in space, new planet, new school, new job. Surely she can keep you safe again.
You don't feel safe, though, when you wake up to a familiar voice far away. You rub the sleep from your eyes, well awake, paying close attention to a conversation you weren't invited to be a part of.
"Alex, I went around the city, there's no new wri-"
"Kara? What was that?"
There it was, in big red letters the sentence that has been haunting you for days. Powergirl should die. And under it new words' been added, someone should kill her.
"I found new writing." Kara's voice comes a second later. "It's worse this time."
"Take a picture so we can compare the handwriting and get back here."
"I have to clean this up." But before Kara even has the chance to, you're flying next to her in front of the L Corp building. "Y/N! What are you doing here?"
You move closer to the building to investigate. The ink is still wet, it wasn't done too long ago. You look around trying to find cameras. It's Lena's building, you're sure there are cameras everywhere. You spot one with a direct view.
"Mini me-" Kara tries.
"Go to work Supergirl, I'll deal with this. Someone wanting me dead is my problem." It's always been your problem, you are aware. But Kara promised you, you had nothing to worry about. Promised she would patrol the city. Promised she would protect you. And yet, here it is, in big block red letters.
"But-"
"I got it, Kara. Can you just believe in me?"
"Y/N, you know I do. I just wanna help."
"I don't need help." You clench your jaw, tired of being treated like a little girl. Like a mini Kara instead of your own person. "I'm Kryptonian too."
Cheap shot? Maybe. Definitely. You throw it, anyway.
You clean the writing then fly home to suit up. You can't face Lena without it. Another secret that only makes you hate your secret identity as hard. Lying to your friends, sneaking out, it's all stressing and there's literally no reward high enough worth of all this.
"Lena."
"Oh shit." Lena's hand goes to her chest after her obvious scare. You can hear her heart almost beating out of her chest. "It's too early for bad news, Powergirl."
"Trust me, I agree with that." You breathe out, trying to give her a smile. It comes out flat. "I was wondering if I could look into one of your surveillance cameras. There was some writing on this building this morning, I would very much like to know who's responsible."
"Writing? I - I didn't see anything when I came in."
"Good. I cleaned it as fast as possible." You point at her computer and she breathes deep as if she is agreeing with you.
It doesn't take long for the images to be up, and you two to be carefully reversing the filming until Lena sees you and Kara flying in front of it, and read the words herself. She looks up to you and quirks up an eyebrow, in question.
"Currently unsure if someone is threatening me or if this is just general knowledge being passed on."
"People don't want you dead, you're a superhero!" Lena argues. "Maybe Lex, but he's currently serving his time."
"Clearly not everyone agrees with you." You point back at the words on her computer.
"It's awful." She admits, even though she doesn't fully trust you or Kara yet. "Wait, wait. There."
You can't see a thing. One minute is there, the other isn't. You slow down the images, trying to see any detail. Lena soon takes over and slows down as much as she can. That's when you see it, just a tiny flash of red. You hold your breath. Thankfully, Lena hasn't noticed it.
"How's this possible? There's no one."
"Seems that I'll have to patrol the city myself tonight." You're almost leaving Lena's office when you turn around one more time. "Thank you for your help, Ms. Luthor."
"I was barely of any help at all." Lena points at the computer as proof and you give her a smile.
"Au contraire, darling. You showed me everything I needed to see." You wink at her, then fly out.
You march inside the DEO, positive on your plan. No one is talking you out of it, that's for sure.
Winn tries to argue that it is illogical for you to just give yourself to your enemy. He gets ignored. Alex argues that as a DEO agent she can't let you do this, and as your older sister she would be insane to leave you alone in this situation. You don't budge. Kara pulls out the big guns, her promise to mother and father, her duty as your protector, how you're the only connection she still has with Krypton, her love for you and so on. Her cries fall on deaf ears.
So at night, you fly around National City watching and studying everyone in it, even though you know you should only be looking for one person. One person with superspeed, a red cape and a big motive.

When Alaric cut off his head, it didn't just kill Kai Parker, but also sent his consciousness or spirit, or whatever to another universe. One where superheroes like Superman and Supergirl were real. That's when Kai discovered... Him. The young man named Y/N, who apparently thought he was someone else by the name of Mon-El. Kai had originally wanted to create chaos and mischief on this earth, but once he saw Y/N, he figured he could play the amnesiac ex-boyfriend of Y/N. Kai cast a spell in order to see all of Y/N's memories of this alien doppelganger of his, even went as far as using a duplication spell to replicate his alien powers. Y/N and the others were none the wiser as Kai settled into his new life as the former alien prince of Daxam.

Nursing your third – fourth? Fifth? – drink of the night, you stared grimly at the aged wood lining the bar. You’d spent almost every night there for the last week, though you were fairly certain you would have to look for a new hideaway if the bartender’s sorrowful expression shifted any closer to pity. You’d already had your heart shattered, you didn’t need to become a “sad story” for her to use later when dissuading people from drinking so much.
“I’m sorry, (Y/N).”
“It’s always been her, hasn’t it?” you laughed humorlessly, watery gaze meeting regretful emerald.
“…yes.”
Sneering at the memory, you took a heavy swig of liquor. It burned against your raw, sob-cracked throat but you ignored it, relishing in the fire. At least then you could feel something.
“Why drag this on so long then? If you’ve known?”
“I don’t know…”
A familiar, honey sweet perfume wafted under your nose as someone landed on the stool beside you and your eyes slammed closed. You knew who it was, never one to leave a friend in need despite how much you wished she wasn’t here, since you couldn’t bear to look at her. Look at the reason for the end of a three year long love that apparently hadn’t truly been…
Love.
“What are you doing here, Kara?” you mumbled brokenly, slowly gathering the courage to peek at the frowning blonde. Her silence was telling and you wanted to melt through the floorboards of the dingy bar. “If you’re here to comfort me over my ex being in love with you for the entirety of our relationship, please don’t. I already feel awful enough. And if you’re here to apologize for dating her now, I will personally smack you with a chair. Mostly because I know it won’t hurt you but it’ll save my hand and my buzz.”
“I didn’t want you to be alone,” she offered softly, fighting her instinct to do exactly what you asked her not to do. “You haven’t spoken to anyone in a week. We’ve all been really worried. I nearly came looking for you a few times, but Alex told me you’d probably want to be left alone and that I was the last person you’d want to see. You need a friend, though…”
The meekness in her words and her demeanor forced a genuine chuckle from your chest. It was reminiscent of the shy reporter you’d met years ago.
Simple, sweet Kara Danvers.
“There’s irony in this, I hope you know. Being consoled by the woman I was left for.”
The unhappy glint in her crystal gaze left you reeling slightly. She seemed guilty but there was an undercurrent of something you couldn’t exactly place.
“When she asked me out tonight, I was confused,” Kara admitted, wincing at the pain dancing across your features. “She told us what happened the night after she broke up with you but she was vague about why. I thought maybe she was just being Lena; that she’d come to her senses. Her words were very Luthor and disconnected. Strange.
“She invited me to dinner this afternoon and I went, thinking maybe she wanted to come up with a plan to fix this. Fix you guys. I always thought you were a great couple! But then she started explaining and all I could think about was coming to find you. About how wrong her confession was. How could she hurt you over something that…” she trailed off, teeth clamping into her bottom lip as she tried to find the words escaping her.
“She told me this was inevitable,” you scoffed bitterly, downing the rest of your drink. “A Super and a Luthor. A great love story, like fucking Romeo and Juliet; as if that made all of this better.”
Brows scrunching disconcertedly, Kara replied, “Didn’t they die at the end? Because of their families?”
You paused for a moment before a hearty laugh filled the mostly-deserted bar. “Yes.”
“Well,” Kara cleared her throat awkwardly, ignoring the discomfort that idea left her with. “She was wrong. I don’t…I didn’t…”
As the unspoken meaning of her words washed over you, you gaped at the Kryptonian like she’d sprouted two extra heads and a tail. A gentle breeze could’ve bowled you over. Fuck, an ant could’ve carried you off.
Saying you were stunned would be an absolute understatement to the current turn of events.
“What?”
Shrugging, Kara nervously played her twitching fingers. “I care about Lena. She’s my friend but the past and the family problems and everything that’s happened is just too much to overlook. I can’t spend my life worrying about another knife aimed at my back. I think she’s different than her family – I really do – but there’s so much history we’d have to erase and I really don’t want to end up like Romeo and Juliet.”
Blinking owlishly, you couldn’t even pretend to find the words for an intelligible response. All that would surely form from your mouth would be sounds. And not even the kind she’d be able to decipher.
Just… sounds.
“You were who I wanted to see.”
There was a confession hidden somewhere in her words - no matter how minute an admittance it seemed – but you were too tipsy and exhausted and heartbroken to consider it at that moment. Later, when the alcohol had run its course and you were done wallowing in your misery, it would come to you and you would understand, running like your life depended on it to her apartment at four in the morning demanding answers to questions you’d never realized you’d had.
But for now, this was enough.

A/n : I just wrote this, literally. It might change.
Tumblr media
“I know I’m not a reporter and all, but…” Kara bit her lip trying to keep her smile from getting any bigger than it already was. “I kind of believe her.”
“If there’s one thing I learned, and through hard experience of all things…” Started Clark. “It’s to never trust what a Luthor says. Never.”
Kara’s excitement faltered slightly.
“Anyway, did you see anything when you X-rayed the room?”
“No, you?”
“No.” Admitted the man.
“See? She must be good.”
“Let’s not jump to conclusions yet Kara.” Suggested Clark with otherwise a smile on his lips.
“Now it’s my turn to ask for a favour.” Said Lena.
“Anything. Shoot.” Replied Kara.
“I need to get in touch with Supergirl.”
The wind blew lightly and two soft thud were heard from behind her.
But she wasn’t afraid, no, she was rather excited.
She rolled her chair around to face her guest.
The blonde beautiful woman was standing tall on her balcony, with her two fists on each side of her waist.
Lena could barely believe it. It actually worked.
“Supergirl.” She smiled and stood to greet the other woman who stepped into the office, her cape following her steps.
“You wanted to see me? Said Kara in the deepest voice she could manage.
“Yeah, thank you for coming.” She said softly while Kara simply walked passed her. “Actually,” she started, reaching for a secret controller hidden underneath her desk, “if you’ll just hold on a second.”
She barely had time to say it that Kara heard a click and suddenly, the windows were sealed and she couldn’t see outside anymore, not even with her X-Ray vision.
Which obviously made her feel threatened.
“What is all this?” She asked sharply, making Lena turn around to look at her.
“Oh, I’m sorry. Those are simply my precautions, for the reason I called you here is sensitive.”
“Which would be?”
Lena was now standing next to a bookshelf in her office. One that she was pretty sure she had seen nothing off about it when she first came in with Clark.
The brunette tapped on one of the shelves before turning around to face her guest once more. This time, with a raised eyebrow and a small smirk on her face.
“This.” She answered as the bookshelf opened to a secret room. She had already began stepping into it, missing the way the blonde’s body tensed up behind her. “I know it’s cliché to be behind a bookshelf, but this is only one of them and…” She bit her lip, anxious about what would think the Super.
She was a Luthor after all, and this must seem pretty suspicious. “Anyway,” she said, bringing a small child out. “I’m really sorry, but I just didn’t know who I could trust with this.” She looked sincerely apologetic as she rocked slightly the baby in her arms.
“I’m not sure what to make of all of this.” Admitted Kara.
“What is there to make?” Answered Lena, playfully. “I’m sorry, no. Of course. I’m a Luthor and you, a Super. And I just trapped you in a room where no one can enter or eavesdrop on us. That is, indeed, a very suspicious thing.”
“Yes…”
“Please, take a seat.”
“I’m fine here.”
“Alright…”
“Waa!” Protested the baby. Making grabby hands for Kara.
“Ah. Um, I’m sorry, but would you mind holding her for a moment?”
Kara looked between the baby and the woman who was holding it.
“I-uh…” She cleared her throat and straightened her posture. “If I must.” She, again, said in the deepest voice she could manage. She tried really hard not to react to the clear happiness showing in Lena’s eyes.
The child reached for one of the blonde’s strand of curled hair and pulled.
“Ah! Rao! That hurt!” She yelled in surprise in a not so deep voice that she was sure her cover was probably blown. But then it hit her. “It… hurts…” she blinked the small tears in her eyes and looked down at the child. “[Hey little one, are you from Krypton?]” She asked in Kryptonese.
And when the child’s face lightened up at her words, she thought she could almost cry.
But then she remembered where she was. And despite the softness she had just felt, she suddenly felt cold. This could all just be a ruse to get to her.
But as she looked at the woman in front of her, she couldn’t see a single hint of mischief.
No, the otherwise young and unapproachable looking CEO was looking more like a normal person. No, like the kindest person Kara could ever meet, and that meant something considering she knew Eliza.
While Lena stared tenderly at the child who was playing with Kara’s locks, the latter found herself staring at Lena.
“So beautiful…” She mumbled.
“Hm?” Wondered Lena as she looked up at her, a true and honest smile still on her lips.
She really was a pretty woman.
At Kara’s hesitation to answer, Lena thought it was finally time to explain herself.
