Ellis' Abilities [Star Wars Head Canon]

Force Powers

Force Jump: Ellis can use the Force to jump greater heights no normal person could. This has been quite useful in both duels with other lightsaber wielders and other scenarios.

Force Bomb: Ellis can harness Force energy into a bomb, which is useful for crowd control, especially battle droids, and can also be used to clear paths.

Force Bond: A connection that Ellis can make with another Force user; in her particular case, her Force Bond is with Anakin; they can sense each other's feelings and thoughts, and their connection can reach from far distances, though neither has tested the distance they can feel this connection.

Force Lightning: Ellis is able to use Force Lightning, but it's an ability she resorts to as it is usually an ability that users of the Dark Side of the Force tend to use.

Force Choke: Another Force ability that Ellis has knowledge of using but doesn't

Jedi Mind Trick: The ability to suggest actions but only works on weak-minded individuals.

Magic

Halting Time: Ellis, through her magic, can halt time, thought indefinitely; she can use this ability to stop time for up to five minutes which could be advantageous in fights and other scenarios.

Healing: The ability to heal any injury that isn't fatal; examples include bad burns, loss of limbs, broken bones, and the like. Ellis focused on this particular ability, wanting to master it fully.

Force Enchance: An ability that enhances her Force powers; though this is automatic, the stronger she gets in her magic, the stronger she gets in the Force.

Reality Manipulation: Ellis can warp reality for others, making them see what she wants them to see. She can make it as real as she wants even though it's not.

Anakin Skywalker x Reader (Well… Technically, Writer) Head Canons: Touch Starvation

[there was no reason for this one. I was just feeling sad and couldn’t help thinking about how nice it would feel to be wanted by someone who doesn’t exist]

There are days where Anakin has a very hard time keeping his hands off of you. And it’s not even in a sexual sense… though he won’t deny that it’s even harder for him to do that. But what he really struggles with is resisting the urge to hold you in his arms.

Maybe it’s because he can sense when you’re in a sad mood, but it’s really hard for him to just not have your head resting on his chest. He loves when he’s holding you, and sometimes it’s overwhelming because he just loves you so much.

And the feeling is mutual, of course. You feel very attached to Anakin, and whenever the opportunity arises you’ll bury yourself in his arms.

You love him to pieces. You love the way his mechanical hand feels when it touches your face. And you know that he’s able to feel your skin through the touch receptors he installed, so that brings you joy.

Anakin is very aware that you’re sensitive to certain sensations, so he’s very gentle with the way he touches you. He always makes sure that you feel safe when he’s using his right hand to hold your face. It’s not much of an issue for his left hand because it’s just flesh, but he makes sure that his touch is just as gentle.

You both have a history of feeling unloved or unwanted or feeling like you didn’t belong somewhere, but when you’re together you both feel so safe and loved. Well… Anakin feels that way more than you, but it’s easy to see that you really do crave his affection.

There’s something about being able to hold you close to him that makes him want to cry. Sometimes, Anakin does cry when he’s holding you. It’s more because he can’t believe how lucky he is to have you as his partner, but there are times when he feels scared of losing you.

And you feel scared of losing him. You love Anakin so much, and you often fear that there will come a day when he won’t want you anymore. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. Anakin adores you, and he hates that idea.

His solution to this is to hug you- sometimes from behind, but often he’s right in front of you. When he’s holding you, he’s whispering sweet nothings into your ear and telling you how much he loves you.

If you start to sob, he will immediately tighten his grip and kiss your face. “Nothing would ever make me want to leave you, Y/N,” he’ll say as he presses his lips to your cheek. “You know I love you so much. You’re so special.”

“There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for you, my star,” he’ll mutter as he cradles your head under his chin. He’s so much taller than you, and he’s so protective of you for this exact reason.

Touch is his love language, and it’s yours too. He’ll always find an excuse to touch your face or your hair, and you’ll often do the same. But Anakin really, really loves you. And he’s so sweet to you. He’s a very kind soul, and he doesn’t hide his caring heart from you because he knows he’s safe with you.

But this man loves you so much, and he loves to feel your skin. He loves playing with your hair, and he even braids it sometimes. He’ll even braid it when you’re sleeping.

Anakin knows he can’t really show his love for you in public, but sometimes he just can’t help it. He needs to be touching you in some way, mostly so he can keep you safe. He hates losing you in crowds.

He loves holding your hand in his, and loves to feel your palm on his own. He loves every single part of you, really. He just feels so much love for you, and it’s almost like he loves you more than you love him. I’d even go as far as to say that to be loved by Anakin Skywalker… is to be loved by the Force itself.

There are days when you say you don’t want his touch… but you’re lying. And he knows it. Oftentimes, it’s when you’re feeling really upset and really suffering. But Anakin doesn’t allow you to suffer in silence. He’ll gather you in his arms and carry you to the bed, and he’ll hold you tightly while you weep.

Even though he’s heartbroken to know that you’re suffering, he’s glad that he’s there to help you. After all you’ve done for him, you deserve a lot of love and support and respect from him. Technically, you deserve it anyway. But that changes nothing. Anakin has so much love to give you… and he gives you all of it.

And he’ll praise you for just existing. “You are so beautiful, my love,” he says as he brushes his fingers against your cheekbone. “All the work you do is incredible, but the most beautiful piece of art is right in front of me. I’m captivated by your beauty. How can you think that you have no value when I love you?” Before you have a chance to answer, he kisses you softly. When he pulls away, he smiles at you. He’s so tender and loving, and you can tell that he cares so much for you. “You mean so much to me, sweetheart,” he whispers as he wipes away your tears.

Everyone: Hey Cal, why don’t you just cut open doors with your lightsaber?

Cal: Once I saw some clones try to open a door with a laser torch. There was fuel leak on the other side. The explosion took out the entire port engine.

Cal: Prauf and I found a door cut open with a lightsaber, about a four foot diameter hole. We’d spent a week stripping sensor banks, the big ones. They didn’t fit through the hole, and the door was welded shut, so we had to move them by mag-cart. Half our cut for the salvage went to the cart rental because of that broken door. That was a hungry month.

Cal: Heard about a Jedi who got sucked into space cause he cut holes in all the bulkheads, then a vulture droid punctured the hull. Bad way to go if you ask me.

Cal: My Master would tell me there’s always another path; the foolish force their way through while the wise walk around. He also said it was a good way to get shot in the back. Can’t block blaster fire if your saber is stuck in the door.

Ok so. This is less concrete thoughts and more scattered ideas but.

Dathomirian Zabrak biology speculations/thoughts!

While at first glance it looks like males are the only ones who have different skin colors and the females are all pale, we do see at least one Nightsister with darker skin (the one whose facial markings are white and resemble a skull), meaning skin pigmentation is present in both but manifests differently in males vs females!

(This is much like birds where the females are the neutral-colored ones while the males have more vibrant colorations and are expected to impress the females to be picked as a mate)

And it's very curious to me that iridonians have very human-like skin tones, while dathomirians ended up having two extremes, either having very vibrant skin ranging from yellow to red, or very pale skin ranging from white to dark gray, both outside the human (and iridonian) range

I think if a transgender dathomirian had HRT their skin color would gradually change with it (much like how birds can change coloration depending on their hormones)

The fact that males have no hair and females have no horns seems very random to me and I will not be thinking about the hair thing but I will say:

Have you looked at Mother Talzin's head shape. Have you seen how strangely tall it looks. What if. What if females "lack" horns because instead of growing at just a few specific points their entire skulls grow and elongate over their lifetimes.

This makes sense if you consider that they live in a "dense jungle" type environment where things (fruits, branches, predators..) can fall on their heads all the time. Having a thicker skull would probably help avoid a cracked skull from constantly getting hit in the head by falling stuff

(No idea what about the hair thing though. Maybe it's something to do with gene interactions. Like whatever gene makes their skin so saturated also deactivates the "have hair" genes. or maybe nightsisters are all wearing wigs and none of them actually grow hair)

Speaking of the geography of the planet, I think it's pretty sad that we never really get a good look of what the Nightbrothers' region looks like outside the village and some mountain terrain around it. Is it more sunny than the Nightsisters' side and that's why their skin adapted to have more color while the females' adapted to lose color? Or is it a seasonal thing and we just never got to see another season in the shows? Or is the village just built in a place that's so high the mist doesn't reach it? We get the sense that it's cold, at least at night, so why are they dressed in such light clothes? In fact, is it hot where the Nightsisters live, or is the entire species more adapted to colder temperatures and that's why they all wear so little?

What would happen if you crossed a dathomirian zabrak with a species that also has non-human skin tones but not linked to sexual dimorphism. Like what if you had a pantoran-zabrak cross, since pantorans are on the opposite side of the color wheel. Do you think they'd be an extremely vibrant blue or yellow-orange-red, or a middle ground, like green? Or perhaps an extreme outside both species' range, like purple? Do you think the "no saturation" gene would take over and make them gray no matter the gender?

- In his eyes you are so delicate, he would never put you in harms way.

- You both have a special force bond.

- When he’s away on a mission, he’ll constant check on you through the force.

- He’ll hold yours face and he’ll lean his helmet on you’re forehead.

- But In his chambers he can kiss you with such passion, but only for short amount of time. He can’t take his respirator out for too long.

- Has visions of his former self starting a family with you.

- He wants to rule the galaxy with you at his side.

- Vader allows you to follow him around if it’s not dangerous.

- If something dangerous happens, he’ll send his best troopers to protect you and get you to safety.

- God help anyone who tried to lay a hand on you, let alone inflicting damage upon you.

- Being his wife made you royalty within the empire.

- He allows you to have a say on most matters relating to the empire.

- He couldn’t live without you, so he’ll eliminate every threat to you in the galaxy.

- You have stoped him from chocking his soldiers to death, he can never deny you.

Magic And The Force [Star Wars Head Canon]

Because Ellis' Mother was a witch and her father was Jedi, Ellis' ability with the Force is far stronger than any Jedi in the Order, though growing up in the temple, Ellis focused more on her Force powers, mainly because she was unaware of her heritage. Not discovering her witch side until after the Jedi Genocide, Ellis found someone who could help her train her magic, and once she had mastered it, she trained her magic with her Force powers. Over the ten years following the fall of the Jedi, Ellis has become far more powerful than any Jedi had dreamed of becoming; a few surviving Jedi questioned if she was the Chosen One and not Anakin, though it was too late for that now. Her skills with a saber, her magic, and the Force make her one that could challenge the Emperor.

I already mentioned these to @commander-sunshine but here are some of my head canons about A-17's favorite batch, because I am still thinking about them

I will start with the oldest of the batch:

Wolffe: Wolffe has that protective shabuir aura older siblings have. He is logical, has a hardshell and is sassy af. He wants to do the right thing at all times and perhaps is afraid of failures (especially after he lost his pack). As a cadet he was that one kid, who acted older and tougher than they were. He would try to be the brother to look up to. Tho wolffe is born sassy. It’s very easy to get under his skin and his vod'ike all respect and love to tease him with the simplest things. He can be an asshole if he wants to, which is almost every time when his vod'ike decide to be shitheads. His sense of humor is probably a little weird but at the same time very hilarious

Next is Fox: Fox is Wolffe’s twin. He is only a few milliseconds younger than him, which is why Fox hates it so much when Wolffe plays the 'I-am-the-older-twin'-card. Much like Wolffe, Fox is very protective of his brothers and shows it in weird ways since both aren’t good expressing their feelings. They both would rather bottle their feelings up than to burden anyone. Tho while Wolffe is more straightforward and rational, Fox is more sneaky and intuitive. That’s why the two argue almost 24/7. They are just too similar and yet so different. Also never anger Fox. As a cadet he bit a lot of brothers and kicked their shebs during sparring. In my head canon he was one of the best, if not the best, which is why he became the commander of the coruscant guard, directly serving the chancellor. His humor tho was probably dark since his early ages thanks to his perception and intuition

Ponds is the true middle child: He is always overlooked, despite him trying his best at all times. He is one of the kindest souls and always honest and true to himself. Thanks to him being overlooked tho, he can get away with a loooot of shit. He probably played so many pranks but no one ever suspected him. He is that sibling to take responsibility and lead when no one else will. Most of the vod'ike would probably go to him to confess anything, since wolffe and fox tend to be more… unhinged with their problem solving. Ponds humor probably contains a lot of word plays and puns. He doesn’t try to be funny tho

Now Bly: Bly is similar to Ponds but leans towards the younger brother category. He too is sometimes overlooked/ overshadowed by his siblings but not as bad as Ponds. If Bly plays pranks everyone will know that it was him. I think as a cadet Bly was very sensible and naive. He would make a lot of bets and end up losing so much, that Fox and his intuition would need to come to the rescue and het him back to the winning end. Bly is very caring and empathetic. His humor is kinda dorky and he sometimes ends up saying the wrong things despite his good intentions

And the youngest of the batch is Cody: Yes Cody is very responsible, tough and proud… but underneath all that… Cody is… he just has that little-shit energy. He plays and acts big, he is very talented and skilled in anything he does, but oh god that man was such a feral trouble maker as a cadet. Cody is so kriffing competitive he would challenge anyone walking past him. Most of the time he would challenge Fox. I think Cody and Fox had a special bond. They are both very competitive and see things in a similar ways. They just have mutual understandings of any situation. (This is also the reason why I think that Cody would have often visited Fox after order 66. They were both working for the empire and Cody slowly came to realize what Fox must have gone trough. I think Fox's death was an additional reason to go awol and find obi-wan)

Anyway Cody was an extreme brat, yet very caring and gentle when he saw someone in need of compassion. He always wanted to be an older brother and teach and help others.

With Rex he got that: Rex is the babiest baby of the batch. He is literally the batches favorite and no one tries to even hide it. Rex got all the cuddle and all the love his batch had to offer. Anyone who treated Rex like a defect because of his blonde hair… well lets say they all ended up in a medbay. Tho Rex was a little shit too. Not like Cody, but still a little shit. Rex would sometimes do the craziest things, but did he ever got punished for them? No. Did Cody get blamed for his chaos? Yes absolutely.

Rex and Cody were always close. They would prank their ori'vode nearly everyday and never did anyone blame kyute little Rex. Rex is also the only one who can stop any of their batchmates temper tantrums. Yet he likes to watch the chaos that are his brothers.

You know the Jedi Temple lightsaber training halls and dueling rooms almost certainly must have had sound systems. Probably useful for announcements and instructions during lightsaber tournaments. Some Masters like to practice with music for battle meditation reasons: particular chanting, new age flutes and hand drums. Very zen.

OR. You're a sixteen year old shitboy Sifo-Dyas, you use it to pump in the filthiest club hits of the early 2010s to totally throw off your lightsaber prodigy best friend's game during sparring matches. Can you imagine how super serious, Temple-sheltered, Yoda-is-my-dad teen!Dooku's experience of radio pop and hip hop would go?? When he's trying to focus on super serious lightsaber calculus Makashi? How distracting and upsetting he would find it? How confusing? “But that booty don’t need explaining”?! But it DOES. It does. 

And I would sit down and write this one shot right now except I can't figure out how Sifo-Dyas knows every line of Jason Derulo's "Talk Dirty" except that I just spiritually know that he does. I read those teenage chaos sections of Dooku: Jedi Lost and I know it. There's just no conceivable way that the lyrics "first class seat on my lap, girl" hasn't come out of his mouth. Probably, let's be honest, directed at Dooku.

Oh god, and what did Anakin use that sound system for?!
