AHHHHHH I GET TO TALK ABOUT EVIL PEOPLE!!

So let me just say that I feel like, of late, I haven’t given that much attention to how terrible of a person Vox is… But the thing is, no one wants to hear about how they would be mistreated in a relationship. I mean, I fear a lot of my posts seem delusion-ally out of character for this, but also it’s tumblr and as long as I continue have a firm grasp on what that character is actually like, mischaracterization can be excused for the sake of joy and whimsy. (However I can justify ANYTHING that I was written and tell you why they would **to an extent** do that. Actually that sounds really fun someone test me on that—)

Vox definitely gets the worst of ‘mischaracterization for the sake of joy and whimsy’ so here’s a small reality check! Don’t enjoy <3 **NOT PROOFREAD**

Constant surveillance of your every move. This meaning every question you google, all the television you watch, every stranger you smile at, he would keep track of it all.

Anything you do wrong, under his creepy surveillance, would be used against you during arguments.

No, even if you two are official, he does not stop fucking Val, and no, if asked, he will not stop.

He will lie to you if he feels he needs to, and will absolutely never feel bad about it no matter how big of a lie it is.

The worst of this definitely comes when you two are fighting and you call him out for something he 100% did.

He’s great at painting himself out in a good light, and when you’re fighting he does this by lying, and if that doesn’t work, hypnosis.

Yeah, he does that a lot too. If you’re not in the mood to fuck, now you are. If you’re hanging out with your friends tonight instead of him, no you’re not. I hope you all have blue light glasses!

Also, if all of his manipulation tactics fail to work on you, he just gets mad and really personal in all of his insults. It’s easy for him to do so when he’s studied you on his screen for so long.

Hope you’re not overly insecure too, he’ll take advantage of that to get what he wants from you.

Speaking of taking advantage of, if you’re famous or special or interesting in any particular way, he will 100% use you for press.

Also, he’s from the 1950s, no matter how modern he tries to be, a part of this mindset will always stay with him.

Meaning that he will obnoxiously try to be the manly one in the relationship, no matter your gender.

You will be feminized in his mind, at least for a good start of the relationship.

This also stems from his fragile ego, and seeing as he is the personification of toxic masculinity!

This is a dom reader blog, obviously, but even after fucking this kind of mindset out of him, these tendencies would stop, BUT be replaced by equally as terrible ones.

For example, especially if he’s the sub, he would just expect you to do things for him, to stick your neck out, to take care and dote on him.

If you’re not giving him enough attention as well, your internet will go out, your lights will flicker, and no electronics in your house will work.

This will stay the case until you are forced to ask him for help.

But you wanted to be in charge anyways, so why should this behavior be reciprocated?

I’ve talked about this in past posts, I can’t find it at this very moment but I go into detail more, but what does love look like for Vox?

He would probably either be shockingly indifferent towards you, until he falls in ‘love.’

Then, he will be terribly obsessed with you. Because the closest thing he can feel to actually love is devoted obsession.

Yes, it can last as long as love, but it isn’t.

Because, and let me say this loudly, a healthy relationship with Vox, or any of the Vees, is not possible. You can be close, but it is not and never will be possible!

You can find a character entertaining or interesting, no matter how awful they are. It’s television, characters are supposed to be interesting. Liking their screen time, or finding them attractive, has virtually NOTHING to do with your moral compass.

Nordic Bunny x Reader WP Pt3 (W.I.P.)

The rest of the day went by relatively quickly. You listened to Nordic Bunny rant about Shred Force, his amazing plan, and how awesome he is. Surprisingly, you didn't get tired of hearing him talk. He had interesting things to say! You didn't have to justify your actions. You simply liked listening to him!

You did, however, get sleepy. It's safe to assume Nordic Bunny noticed because he made it known, loudly.

"Quit dozing off! Is what I am saying not INTERESTING enough for your HUMAN BRAIN?!... Do you need more food? Are you broken?!"

For a moment you could've sworn he was worried and was fussing over you... nahhhh

"Yeah I'm good, just tired."

You yawn and sluggishly shrug of his questions.

"Go ahead and tell me more about uhhhh... robots?"

He moves his face closer to yours and stares at you for a split second, as if to inspect it for lies. After finding nothing he smiles and leans back, you didn't notice the small bit of blush on his face.

"OF COURSE! I knew that!!"

You both sat in silence for a bit. Ultimately, you broke the quiet atmosphere with a yawn,

"Hey not to overstep, but like, do you got... a bed or something?"

He looks puzzled and goes off to the side, talking with himself.

"Hmmm, well... there's... uhh no no... hmmmm."

He turns back around to face you, looks you up and down.

"Hmmmm, I guess I'll just have to get one of my minions to make up somewhere for you to sleep!"

You sleepily nod, not entirely aware of what's going on around you. Nordic Bunny strides to the exit to leave, presumably to get one of his minions to do his bidding. As he's walking away he notices the lack of your presence next to him. Having dragged you around all day he had unconsciously moved to grab your arm only for it to not be there. Turning back around to where you are now dozing off he picks you up around your torso and carries you with one arm on his side. Your arms and legs are dangling a couple feet in the air, given his height. But despite that you are actually quite comfortable.

In time you find yourself falling asleep, not being able to fight off the exhaustion you had.

You wake up to the "peaceful" uproar of shouting and a lazer being blasted.

"I SAID BE QUIET!!!"

Ah, Nordic...

"CAN'T YOU SEE THEY ARE TRYING TO SLEEP?! How can I get intel if my human isn't rested up, because you NIMRODS are being TOO LOUD?!"

The yelling is followed by a couple more blasts. Being fully rested, you get up and take in the new room.

Kinda similar to Nordic Bunny's war room, there is definitely a huge red them going on. Different kinds of circuit boards and tubes line the walls, no visible windows, and it sorta looks like they just cleared out a walk in closet and set up a bed (no galvanized steel or eco friendly wood veneers anywhere). Speaking of, the bed you are resting on is a standard twin sized bed with cherry red sheets with matching pillows and a scarlet comforter. Nice.

"OH, you're awake!"

You turn your face to see Nordic Bunny's face wayyy too close to yours.

"Uhhh, hey?"

"GOOD MORNING! As the humans say. I'm quite knowledgeable about your human culture, and EVERYTHING ELSE IN THE UNIVERSE!"

"Hm? Oh yeah, good morning."

Is it morning? Oh well, you wouldn't have anyway to check anyway.

"SO!... Uh, how do you like your room?"

Nordic looks to be almost a bit shy when waiting for your approval.

"Oh yeah, no it's cool. Thanks by the way, real nice of you!"

You give him a soft smile and he flusters a moment before proudly posing and standing a bit taller. How can he get even taller?!

"Ah yes well, I AM THE BEST! And I provide only THE BEST for my... friends?"

He seems to think momentarily for that word. Looking to you seeking a reaction.

"Sure, nice going, uh- friend?"

His face lights up and he virtually lunges at you, scooping you up and spinning you in a tight hug.

"BRILLIANT!!"

He stops abruptly and sets you down. You nearly fall over from the dizziness.

"Oh OH! I have something for you, because my AWESOMENESS KNOWS NO BOUNDS."

Oh, and there he goes running down the hall, leaving you alone with your thoughts... You've been getting pretty comfy here. Heck, you even got your own room now. But what about you lofe on Earth? You didn't have much, but the things you did have were yours. Will you ever see your cramped apartment again? Your extremely rude boss? Your friends? Do they even know you're gone?... Do they even care?

Your thinking is interrupted by the sound of shouting and frantic running. Nordic Bunny bursts into the room with a... PHONE?!

"BEHOLD, A HUMAN DEVICE!"

You look up and see Nordic Bunny parading around a small smartphone in his hands and then presents it to you.

★ I just think that, if you're another ghost, Edwin would like you more at first, if you're alive, Charles would (because of the whole Charles hates being dead thing and Edwin doesn't like being around the living)

☆ In this scenario, let's play with you being alive and (mostly) well. Involved in one of their cases, maybe, or you went into Jennys shop to get meat or something (if you don't eat meat pretend you're cooking a meal for a friend or something)

★ Probably immediately you kinda notice a strange aura (totally not Charles staring you down because he's never seen someone as cool and swag as you) - and let's be honest you aren't even surprised when you meet Crystal and she's looking at the corner all weird.

☆ meeting them again however, you probably just had some near death experience (maybe you wandered into a haunted house, or you somehow got involved in the whole Esther business) and you probably don't even care that ghosts exist because yeah, kinda checks out

★ Charles is probably immediately on your heel (Edwin is just the tiniest bit jealous) asking you all sorts of questions (Edwin is just the tiniest bit interested as well)

☆ getting to know them better, Edwin finds he quite likes yapping about cases with you (my autistic ghost boy needs someone that ACTUALLY listens to what he says) he will be overjoyed if he starts talking about a case and you go "Oh wasn't that the one where.." because yes!! It was that case! You remembered!! Good job!!!

★ I feel like the whole relationship would come along naturally at some point. Just you complaining how you can't sleep because your pillow is too warm and both of them offering to stay with you since ghosts are pretty cold

☆ they have the mutual agreement that they're somewhat sharing your affection since you give both of them the same. They'll just have conversations like "did you already tell them [...]" and "Oh, yeah I did could you do [...] for them?" Already being fully in the mindset of 'we can and will make this work with three people'

★ I think Charles would actually have a more difficult time when the relationship officially starts though. He just has so much affection for you and Edwin that he's almost bursting, but Edwin doesn't always like touch so he has ti be careful and look for the signs and you actually have to keep yourself up and cared for instead of being able to cuddle 24/7

☆ Just a silly boy struggling with not kissing and hugging both his partners at all times (though he has two hands, and will be the middle part whenever the three of you walk somewhere.)

☆ Edwin is more a acts of service type of guy while Charles, obviously, is big on physical touch, so whenever Charles holds you back from doing laundry or the dishes, Edwin will do it for you so you can chill out

★ doesn't mean you don't do things for the boys, though. You regularly get books for Edwin (which he's happier about that he shows) and always give Charles the chance to talk to you without any judgement (same goes for Edwin, though he doesn't use that offer as often as Charles)

☆ Imagine Charles rescuing Edwin from hell and that night the three cuddle up with each other even though Edwin and Charles don't sleep, just so you can hold both of them to make sure they're still there and well

Hey listen. I remember G2 Monster High very fondly and I was sad to see it was cancelled. So I had some thoughts. What would you improve about G2 Monster High? because I have a plan to make a G2 Re-write at some point. I don't know when it will happen, but I will work on it eventually.

that's an interesting question, I haven't really thought of much. I actually think g2 sits in this really interesting crossroad of 1 and 3 when it comes to how the monsters interact with humans, and I think that'd be more interesting to explore. No real humans ever make an appearance in gen 2, but the effect humans have had on monsters is very prevalent in gen 2. Gen 1 humans are a bit of a joke with a select few characters who've caused problems, Gen 3 humans and monsters are antagonistic and we get to see Clawdeen's struggle with being both but its honestly not that relevant in my opinion??? G3 has weird lore tho, I wont get into that here.

G2 humans though are interesting, they've actively hunted down and persecuted most monsters to the point where they're all in hiding. There isn't a "monster world" the same way there is in 1 or 2. In fact they're so deep in hiding that most monsters don't even know that there ARE other monsters around! A lot of G2 is about breaking out of that isolation and coming together as a community under oppression. Despite that we never see any humans. And the most we get of this plotline is Ari who disguises herself as a human(which i think we could delve into WAY more)

I also would make Dracula/Harriet canon, it was obviously an idea the writers were interested in and therefore pretty present in the subtext, but it'd be interesting to actually see how Draculaura handles having step-siblings.

Generally I kinda wish we just had more time and effort put into getting to know the g2 ghouls. They weren't around for very long but they held a lot of really interesting potential.

I feel people forget that fact-checking / historical accuracy is very much a paid job that exists that you are qualified to do. And that regardless of the length of the video, the amount of sources, time and years of work you have done to reach this level of knowledge takes a lot of work. A good, well-informed, and sourced reply takes a lot of time and energy. It takes labour.

Genuinely really appreciate all of the information from your speciality that you choose to share with us. I feel you have been so clear with your boundaries around videos, youtube, tv, films etc, and it sucks that it's not taken on board (appreciate some people just stop by after a one off post, so this is not a pointed thing at the last ask, far more I've seen you post a fair few over the years and I'm not sure I'd want to know how many more get sent that don't get a reply).

Out of curiosity, if the opportunity came up for people to pay you to do that work is it something you would be interested in?

What would you charge per hour given how educated you are in your field, would you have different rates for different levels of replies?

Would you charge more for your sanity over specific people / questions?

I would only do that work off this site. This isn't a gimmick or content blog for any specific topic; it's my personal blog and I just happen to be someone who is an Egyptologist.

With that said: the idea of monetising a place I come primarily to browse and enjoy myself is pretty much my idea of a bad time. People already do the 'uh well I'm so disappointed in you for X content. I enjoyed following you until X. I expected better of you.' type behaviour and if I try to make any money from here (guys, I don't owe you shit, you don't know me enough to comment. kinda creepy ngl), that's only going to increase. I had a ko-fi at one point simply for 'hey throw me £1 if you feel like it' but even that got overwhelming and so I stopped. People would expect me to make/provide/answer regular content, and expect a lot of work put into it that I simply can't really regularly churn out.

Charging per hour and per ask? Tumblr would have a fit at what it would cost to actually pay me properly. I think we can all agree that we should pay people for their labour and time here.

I taught at university and, at a base level, I was earning £17 an hour ($22) and when I taught in the evenings that was doubled for 'time outside normal working hours' or £34 an hour ($43) plus all my prep time paid at £17 an hour.

So a typical ask maybe takes me an hour to research, unless I know the answer already, and so you're looking at £17 for one ask. A longer ask, ones that take me 4-6 hours to research and write? You're looking at anything between £68-£120.

In short, I either get paid pittance for my skills or tumblr simply can't afford me.

this is how i had some of shanks's crew react:

i think yasopp and benn, who have likely known him the longest and best and who have probably seen the most of mishanks together, would recognize mihawk's body language, even when it's on shanks. i also think ppl who spend a lot of time together and/or love each other a lot pick up each others' mannerisms, so benn and yasopp have probably already seen their captain exhibit little tells here and there that clearly come from mihawk. when mihawk himself somehow ends up in their captain's body, it's weirdly familiar for them, and they realize it's 'cuz they're not just seeing echoes of the swordsman in shanks, but the real thing.

for perona, i imagine shanks would roll up to kuraigana thinking like, "i should try to be like mihawk so as not to alarm them, esp 'cuz hawky probably would rather they not know" but when he steps off hitsugibune, he waves to perona and greets, "perona," and she's immediately like, "who are you!" she noticed that shanks buttoned the shirt he picked out of mihawk's coffin-crate wrong, and mihawk would never wear that shirt with those pants like that! and she thought maybe mihawk was having an off day until "mihawk" waved in greeting and called her by name. at this point, shanks is sweating lol.

zoro, i think he'd probably notice something is Off right away (shanks continues the charade bc he explains the situation to perona and perona thinks it's hilarious and wants to see how long zoro goes without noticing) but wouldn't really care until "mihawk" draws yoru for some training. zoro would scowl, annoyed but not alarmed bc perona's not alarmed, and he'd be like, "okay, that's it. mihawk would never hold yoru like that, he keeps at least another hand's-width distance in his grip for better support, what the hell," and shanks is just like, of course i got the sword thing wrong. of course his sword student would notice. 🤦🏻‍♀️ mihawk would only train interesting and competent people, and that's luffy's swordsman! c'mon shanks.

(i am a firm believer that shanks is the only other person that's ever been allowed to handle yoru in the time she's been mihawk's sword, and as an extension of that, i think it'd be cute if he held her in a slightly different grip bc shanks's style when using yoru is a little more hilt-heavy and defensive. he hasn't done this since losing his arm though, so it's actually nostalgic to be able to wield her with both hands.)

(i say this but i suppose, like with all body swap au's, there might also be an element of muscle memory involved. in that case, zoro probably confronts shanks when shanks reaches for beer instead of wine at dinner. but i like the sword thing better haha.)

luffy? luffy and mishanks aren't interacting in canon rn so i can't imagine where he'd meet up with them body-swapped, unless one of them goes to rayleigh at sabaody for help. (i say "one of them" but while shanks would be alone, poor mihawk would definitely have the red-hair pirates as a peanut gallery following along lol.) in this case, i think luffy (and rayleigh) would just laugh. like, a lot. so much.

if it was mihawk (looking like shanks), luffy would probably ask him a lot of questions regarding zoro and proclaiming his time is almost up as wgs, and then hang out with the rhp to catch up, show off his improved abilities a little, and tell yasopp about how usopp's been doing. with shanks, i think they'd catch up and then end up horsing around, and it would be extra funny bc from the outside it looks like dracule mihawk is having an eating contest with strawhat luffy. rayleigh will take photos for posterity.

if it's kid luffy and this happens before luffy's a pirate, i think luffy would probably ask mihawk-as-shanks what being a pirate is like, and also stories about being the wgs. and mihawk would tell him about fighting marines and his coffin boat and luffy would get a little starry-eyed but also maybe want to fight him lol.

other people they know... i can't help but imagine what kind of fuckery shanks would come up with if he rolled up to karai barai looking like mihawk. 😂 buggy and croc would be so unnerved.

i think shanks would take the opportunity to fuck with buggy a little by bringing up inciting incidents between them from when they were kids, like their really stupid arguments, and buggy would be caught between arguing back heatedly, creeped out that mihawk knows and is smiling all i-know-something-you-don't-know at him *shudders*, and wondering if the weird amount of knowledge on buggy's childhood mihawk has means that mihawk and shanks are fucking or something. (they are, but buggy doesn't know that. mihawk is a little annoyed at shanks for getting this revealed 'cuz he was holding onto their relationship for a more dramatic reveal if it ever presented itself, and he wanted the source of the blackmail he had on buggy to be a little more enigmatic. now, he can't creep buggy out bc he'll just assume all his blackmail material is from shanks. ugh.)

croc would be a little baffled that "mihawk" has suddenly started interacting with the clown way more than he used to, before realizing there's something deeply wrong with "mihawk". he seems too personable, too trusting, too... smile-y. it's weird. he doesn't like it. he is forced to go to buggy about this when his own henchmen don't seem to know what else to do about it, and they end up relictantly working together to find out what caused this personality change. when it eventually gets figured out that "mihawk" is actually shanks, buggy is livid and crocodile's already thinking about what this might mean for the cross guild, if the red force is going to come to karai barai, if that will cause problems for what he's trying to do, and of course, how he can use this situation to blackmail mihawk in the future. it's annoying but he can admit it's also kinda funny.

totally self-indulgent addition, but kid uta would take the oportunity to play dress-up with her dads since they've now effectively switched fashion senses. both let her, bc they are both charmed by how happy this makes her.

So, since you found your way into wolfstar lately I would like to know what did change your mind? What's so compelling about them for you?

I have always shipped it. I just have a burning dislike of the popular fanon version people act like it's canon or that everyone agreed that it's the 'best version'. But I have chosen to ignore them and ship them the way as the gods intended, ahahahhahahahaha. XD I also REFUSE to let anyone taint a ship to the point where I can't ship it. No one gets that right. What has always been compelling but I've just found peeps to talk with that has made it all more interesting. Like unrequited Prongsfoot, Sirius pining over James, Remus over Sirius or not even. They get together out of convenience. They are both in the same friend group. But are NOT best friends. Like canon we get how Sirius and james are the besties of the group. I really like that being explored. Sirius and Remus never close so no pining. It's more something that comes later, they take a chance on each other. This is all thoughts on late school, or right out of school wolfstar. If I include the canon suspicion of each other, they def don't get together. Won't romantically fall for each other. Maybe still be fuck buddies. I do like them just getting together cuz Remus doesn't feel he can ever even make new friends and Sirius sees Remus as a safe choice. Doesn't need to go out and risk getting with someone who might fall for him. They feel easy to each other. The thing is, they are NOT easy for or to each other. They kinda rub each other wrong. Remus nature of people pleasing and fleeing, sirius more brash and direct to borderline cruel way. I love them just fumbling and being a messy ass couple. Struggling to adjust to each others needs. To understand each other. Neither letting the other completely in, esp Sirius since he refuses to let anyone get as close to him as James has. Remus knowing Sirius loves James so he feels inadequate. Remus' insecurities really taking a hold of him, to Sirius' frustrations. He can compliment Remus yet Remus will do some self deprecating comment.

tbh it was hard to choose just 10 but i managed to do it so here u are!!

1) ADAM PARRISH from the raven cycle. He is the most relatable character I ever read so he deserves first place. Loved him since the beginning and keep on doing it. I usually never relate to characters but then he came in my life and i found myself staring at the pages while reading his thoughts bc that was how I felt too and it was kinda shocking.

2) JEAN MOREAU from All For The Game series. Since he was just a background character in the first 3 books I didn't mind him much, but then I read the extra content and his story broke me so much and I couldn't stop thinking about him, then the 4th book about him came out and I'm even more in love with him even tho he keeps make me cry. His story keeps tormenting me hoping he will get the happy ending he deserves.

3)HUA CHENG from Tian Guan Ci Fu. The greenest man in the world!!! Waited 800 years for the love of his life and he even died for him. He is just so perfect that I couldn't help but love him.

4) MONKEY D. LUFFY from One Piece. Only God knows how much I would give to have Luffy knocking on my door and ask me to join his crew. The happiness he brings, the serenity I would have if I had him in my life. The way he is a savior without even trying like pls come and save me too from this meaningless life and let's go have adventures in weird islands!!!

5) STILES STILINSKI from TeenWolf. He is my supreme teencrush. Never had a crush like this for an actor/tv character. He's literally the type of guy I would marry without second thoughts.

6)XERXE BREAK from Pandora Hearts. It's my favourite manga ever and his character was so interesting to read about, his powers, his story, the way he was connected with Abyss, his being mysterious and weird sometime, his intelligence, everything about him got my attention since the beginning. And personally his legal Chain had one of the best design and powers in the whole manga.

7) FA MULAN from Mulan . She was my childhood crush and I know the Disney movie by memory. I admired her so much and I wanted to be her since I was a child and my admiration still exist even now. she was an icon and a legend!!

8)SHERLOCK HOLMES from Moriarty the Patriot. Always liked sherlock as character but this version is the ultimate perfection. The animation design is stunning and the character too. I have a thing for intelligent men and he is the first one on the list.

9) MAKI ZENIN from Jujutsu Kaisen. Big ass crush for her since the beginning but then I read the Zenin Clan Arc and I was on my knees for her. A female character that it's not fanservice or a pretty face or two big boobs

10) SUNG JINWOO from Solo Leveling. It's my favourite manhwa and he is amazing. I actually have a bigger crush for Igris but it's one of his shadows but whatever. His story and growth is very interesting and I enjoyed reading it a lot.

My personal thoughts on the major themes of Penacony 2.2

I was gonna make an entire Penacony retrospective and try to really dig into the whole story, but 1. I'm not that smart and 2. It has hours of footage and I don't think I'm strong enough to parse through that and form my own conclusions

so, just the things that really jumped at me and made me pause to think. I may do surface level research to make sure if a character really said this or that, but other than that, these are my thoughts fresh after finishing the quest.

Ok, to start off: Sunday and the road to hell

He's... god, he's such a complicated and interesting little man.

He is what I would call the embodiment of the saying "the road to hell is paved with good intentions". On the surface, he is trying to make a universe which is authoritarian-like. If you peel it back a bit more, he intends to make the universe a better place. But at the heart of it, I think he's just someone who is scared of pain.

There are 3 sequences I want to break down:

The Robin-Sunday exchanges before they meet Gopher Wood

This exchange has a lot of Sunday misdirecting Robin's points, but she calls out most of it.

Robin starts off with observing the dreamscape and concludes that dreamchasers shouldn't use penacony as a means of escaping entirely from reality. Because they won't overcome their demons. She asks if this can really count as "living"

Sunday at first seems to agree that things are not the way it should be. But there's a bit of misdirection on his part. He responded to robin's question by connecting "people using penacony as an escape" with (his opinion on) the way people currently "live" (which is what he was agreeing to in "things are not the way it should be"). He will then frame the narrative to show that people completely escaping through dreams is a good thing, and then will swerve to say how the "strong" should determine the future of the "weak".

Robin understandably does not agree with Sunday's narrative, because she believes that by staying in the dream (or MAKING dreamchasers stay in the dream), it will lock dreamchasers in stasis forever, making them unable to choose how to go about their future and overcome their difficulties. She then criticizes that no one has the right to determine whether a human deserves to live for a future or not.

There's a clear difference in ideology here. Sunday's devotion to Order is so strong because the experiences in his life had led him to believe that forcing his will on other people is the way to go. His ideology is rigid, cold, impersonal and is applied to all uniformly.

Robin firmly believes in choice and refuses to let an authority govern the way people should live. She wishes to unite people through her singing, and to inspire people to live. Her ideology is more personal, uniquely applied, and is idealistic and romantic.

2. The quiz sequence

An interesting thing about this sequence is the first two questions have quite reasonable answers. At the start of it, at least.

The first question is about nurturing and letting go. I think why most of the girls agreed to put the bird in a cage is because to do something great, you must first be equipped to survive. Maslow's bottom hierarchy, if you will. i think Sunday realizes this too, and puts it into some of his points to justify making decisions on behalf of other people.

"We must teach the weak how to live a happy life"

Though, the problem is that he twists this point so much and wants to force this on everyone. This is seen when he puts everyone on Penacony in Ena's dream. This disregard for other people's input kinda reflects how he sees the bird, in a way. The bird is something below Sunday, it cannot object his actions because it is merely just a weak, injured little thing.

It is here that he experienced pain of futility. The pain of putting in effort into something but have it crash and burn in the end no matter what. Afraid of that pain, he wonders if birds are meant for the sky if some fall before they can reach it. He has a very black and white mindset about this.

Either all birds fly and deserve the sky, or if even one bird falls then no birds deserve the sky.

The second question is about a person who is being pursued by the bloodhounds. Sunday is in a position of power, and has the influence to pardon the man. As a result, the man got away, forgot about his children, and hurt the people working under him in penacony.

Though, it's worth to mention that I think it's also partly the fault of the Oak family, who didn't try to discourage dreamchasers trying to find answers or solve their personal problems in Penacony. But I believe that's intentional.

Anyways, the crux of the question, if Sunday had known the outcome of his decision from the start and he had the foresight to think that Penacony isn't a place to search for answers, I actually think upholding the law would be the best course of action here.

I think this is where he developped his fear of... consequence. Because humanity has free will, they may use his pardon from the law to do awful things. This might be why he values upholding the law so much.

Another thing to note, I think Sunday hasn't gone off too far into the deep end at this point of his life. In a previous sequence with the same scenario, he actually questions what devotion to the Order would be like, and his doubts on its way of life.

"Who can judge the strong when their power hides their crimes?"

"Who can vouch for the weak when they will pay any price to survive?"

"Who can comfort the purest souls when even they get led astray?"

It's important to note that Sunday is in a position of power and emphasizes knowing the outcome of the first two questions.

The third question is the only question where he and the other party were of near equal standing. It's where he still hasn't made a decision, and which the outcome has not yet been decided.

Sunday cares about Robin's input and feelings. He cares so much he doesn't have it in him to force her to stay for the Order.

I think this is the crack in his belief of the Order. Because he cannot stop her from trying to fly. Because he cannot apply his law indiscriminately. Because it's Robin. His sister.

He has not made a choice, and Robin has not met her end yet like he's feared.

But he's so afraid of the pain of losing her. He's so afraid it haunts him in his nightmares.

After presenting the quiz, he essentially asks the main question of penacony: "Why does life slumber?"

He answers, "Because we are afraid to awaken from our dreams."

Interestingly, this is identical to Firefly's conclusion in 2.0. The difference is, Sunday thinks his answer is universal and will force his solution on everyone, while Firefly's is just her own personal answer.

Firefly asks what the price for Sunday's paradise is, and that made me stand up and point at the screen in agreement. Because what Sunday's aiming for is an authoritarian universe.

When an authority reigns supreme that it forces its will onto unwilling citizens, all in the name of the ideal society. That's a dystopia.

As Sunday said before, who will keep the authority in check? Who can ensure that the authority will not abuse their power?

That's what's so dangerous about an authoritarian government. You can't take the risk when it comes to this. You can't just give the power to one person, no matter how righteous or nice they seem. Because like the saying goes, give them an inch and they will take a mile. You cannot afford to cross the line, because when you do, who knows how far they'll take it.

Sunday clearly sees Firefly as someone weak, kind of akin to the bird in his childhood who needs his "saving". But Firefly does not appreciate someone deciding on her behalf whether she's weak or needs saving.

3. Ode to Order

I think it's important to note Sunday really frames Ode to Order in this angelic and holy way. Hell, the music even reflects this with a more bright and heavenly choir.

"Requiem aeternam" is a prayer for souls to reach heaven, eternal rest.

(A bit of a tangent, but when I saw this in the game I SHIVERED so hard. This is such creative story telling aughh- Like, using previously established game mechanics and twisting them to become something horrifying is SO COOL. What a delightfully terrifying way to illustrate what Sunday aims to achieve.)

This illustrates Sunday's paradise as a place where everyone is forcefully "tuned" to become a certain way forever. To be manipulated with Ena's strings without their consent like puppets into a picture perfect scene.

Though, I was confused why Sunday framed this ideal society as people abandoning the need for an authority, when it was something he was pushing so hard in previous sequences.

But my interpretation is that he will spread this message, of everyone being of equal standing, but leave himself as the true leader that will stay awake to ensure everyone else is blissfully asleep.

This really ties everything together for me. Sunday is someone so self righteous but self sacrificial that he's willing to put himself high in the sky, and be aware that he will be completely alone up there.

He is afraid of pain, and will do everything to avoid experiencing it ever again.

After experiencing pain, we shouldn't be scared of it. Sure, we can escape a bit to get some reprieve, but we must tend to our wounds so that we may not only survive, but live.

That brings me to the second major theme of Penacony : Nihility, and the feeling of futility

I will be breaking down Acheron's character first.

Self annihilators/Nihility emanators are so interesting, they are beings that slowly are losing themselves thanks to their own powers of Nihility. A predetermined end.

Living for so long + Nihility actively chipping away at her being is sure to make her memories blend in together. This is why Acheron values emotions so much, because it is one of the only anchors she can use to avoid succumbing to Nihility.

Her flashbacks with Tiernan are beautifully melancholic. Their exchange starts with Acheron pondering if the task Tiernan is doing is pointless, and if he should even bother? And if the end is expected, then should they change it? It's a bit muddy, but I interpret that here, Acheron is still searching for the meaning of Nihility, and Tiernan is the person who guides the souls to the other side of the river at that time.

In the next scene, Acheron states she's holding on to whatever she can to avoid succumbing to Nihility. She had journeyed with a Nameless girl once, who wanted to explore IX. But as expected, the girl ceased to be, but left with a smile. Acheron is scared of forgetting her memories with that girl.

The only other anchor she knows is of her promise to bring more warmth to other people, to a more hopeful future where she will cut off Nihility. She associates that promise and hope with the color of red.

The next scene mirrors the first scene. I interpret it as Acheron having found the meaning of Nihility, sorta embracing it, and is now guiding others to advance towards and depart the Nihility, with Tiernan having forgotten himself.

When Tiernan asks if what Acheron does is pointless, she gave the same answer Tiernan gave her, because some things have to be done. And she's come this far without needing a point, so why should she search for one?

"May death be the end of your boundless dream... guiding you back to the waking world."

I still cannot decipher the meaning of this statement completely. As far as I know, it's said 2 times. The first is after Firefly "died", and the second is in the above exchange with Tiernan.

In Firefly's case, perhaps the "death" refers to waking up from Ena's dream at the beginning, "boundless dream" is Ena's dream, and "the waking world" is Dreamflux Reef/reality.

In Tiernan's case, I can assume the "boundless dream" is his eternal unrest, as he's still lingering in the dead sea, not yet ready to enter the abyss of Nihility. The "death" may be referring to him entering the abyss, while the "waking world" is existence, as he finds his way out of Nihility.

To bring this all together, I think Acheron in this case represents and goes against Nihility. She presents Nihility as something inevitable and predetermined (death), something that awaits everyone, and something that everyone will have to embrace at some point of their lifespan (boundless dream).

But she also believes that one shouldn't wholeheartedly embrace Nihility. in the face of Nihility, we must do everything to take in the world around us and remember what makes us exist. She believes there is a way out of Nihility, and that is existence. (waking world)

In the face of futility, if everything really did have a predetermined end, I believe we should still try to make choices. Despite it being "pointless", I think that's what gives meaning to our existence. Otherwise, we risk succumbing to Nihility.

That's why when the trailblazer finally uttered their own choices, I felt shivers. One, because this shows the development of TB's character, and two because TB will do what they have to, they will never be content living in a dream, and they choose to continue in the face of "futility", despite the ending of their journey being predetermined.

In the face of futility, Sunday chooses to eliminate pain and choice out of the equation, only choosing to create a universe that's stuck in a mindless, blissful stasis. Because he is anticipating pain.

But sometimes, the anticipation is worse than the actual pain itself. He is also eliminating the element of choice, with the assumption that people will not be able to survive when they are facing futility.

But, Acheron's words really struck me.

In the face of futility, pain, and pressure humans may freeze in fear. But that innate survival instinct in humans might push them to fight and claw themselves out to save themselves. By removing the choice to fight for their lives, they won't have the choice to fight off Nihility.

To end this, I would like to go back to main question of Penacony

"Why does life slumber?"

And I think TB answers this beautifully.

"Because we will wake from our dreams."

Life slumbers to find reprieve from the harsh reality. But slumbering does not give us the solution to our problems, only recharging us to prepare for the waking world once more. And in the waking world, even if what we do is futile, we still have a choice in how we want to reach for the end.

So I received a few questions about who exactly Vyvyan is, and I am making this post to answer properly.

He is my trollsona! :) And also a character that I very shamelessly inserted into my Ampora ask blog because there is something wrong with me. Also, I am not a virgo, I am actually an aquarius (go fucking figure), and Vyvyan is only a jade blood because I took a quiz and it said Jade better fit me personality wise, and honestly I kinda agree. Anyway- this post will include some art of him, and also like, basically everything about him, for anyone who's interested. <3

NAME: Vyvyan Wapiti (Pronounced Vivian Wah-pee-tee. Vyvyan is my middle name, and Wapiti is a type of deer.) HANDLE: thoughtformChoreographer AGE: 12 sweeps old (at the time of the ask blog. WHO EVEN IS THIS DOUCHEBAG? WHAT DOES HE DO? WHO DOES HE THINK HE IS?

Vyvyan Wapiti is known on Earth-C as the "licensed professional who owns the Nature and Rehabilitation Centre". He is in charge of the facility, which is basically a mixture of a rehab centre, private hospital, mental ward and nature exhibit all in one. He is also part of the "Sburb/Sgrub Rescue Team" which will be mentioned later. He was granted these positions by Karkat, and Karkat was also the one to assign Gamzee to him as his first (and most prioritised) patient. Gamzee was incredibly volatile and was struggling to recover when first introduced to Earth-C, and everyone else was too scared or ignorant to try and help him, so Vyvyan took up that role, and his condition has since improved. He is, however, unfortunately stuck in rehab possibly for the rest of eternity, and lives there with Vyvyan.

Vyvyan makes occassional appearances in the Ask The Ampora's ask blog as Dualscar's caretaker, also. Dualscar appears to dismiss Vyvyan quite often and refuse his care, of which Vyvyan imposes on him, as jade blooded sylphs typically do.

WHAT'S THIS GUY'S DEAL?

Vyvyan appeared in Earth-C along with his friends (Castor, Linnea, and Autumn) after having completed Sgrub with flying colours and basically as little difficulty as it gets with a game so complex and traumatising. There is little explanation for why these 4 did not reap their reward of a new universe, however they all agreed the game must've deemed their session too easy, and decided they should merely live in someone else's won universe as opposed to creating their own. None of them are unhappy with this, as they were each granted positions they are quite content with, Vyvyan especially.

He and his friends run the "Sburb/Sgrub Rescue Team", a group dedicated to contacting players from doomed or infertile sessions to try and save/preserve/console them in numerous ways that would not disturb the flow of time and space. Most of these endevours are somewhat fruitless, however, they did manage to save the "Stuck...Stuck?" crew.

OKAY, BUT LIKE, THE JUICY STUFF. WHERE'S HIS TRAUMATIC BACKSTORY?

Back on Alternia, prior to Sgrub, Vyvyan was a very atypical troll. For starters, jade bloods are already rare as it is, especially male jade bloods, as most are female. Not only that, but he was not the most responsible of trolls. He was in charge of caring for a mother grub, as all jade trolls are assigned to do so. However, having lived in deep forest for most of his life, he became addicted to the effects of mushrooms he found within said forest. The effects of the hallucinogenics he would ingest quite often would leave him very mentally and physically unwell, and unable to properly care for his lusus or himself. One day, his mother grub died of unknown causes - however, Vyvyan's neglectfulness and deteriorated mental state was the main blame of this untimely death. The mothergrub was too young to have created a matriorb, and Vyvyan was sure to be culled for the failure he had become. However, when sitting aimlessly waiting for death and nook deep in a bad trip, a similarly atypical deer-like lusus found him. He was adopted by it, and given a second chance instead of slaughtered like any other in his position would have been. His new lusus quickly corrected his behaviour, teaching him what was/was not safe to forage, how to help himself, and eventually, how to help others. As Vyvyan grew up, he realised there was not much mercy on Alternia for those struggling from mental disorders. The heavy stigma meant there were almost no outlets for support. His big dream was to create something similar to the human concept of therapy and counselling, but for Alternia. This was an impossible feat to accomplish, until, of course, Sgrub happened. When introduced to Earth-C, Vyvyan was finally given the resources needed to create such an outlet for trolls in need of help. And he now spends his days spreading this kind forgiving treatment to anyone who may require it.

He and Gamzee are soulmates, however have not properly discussed this and therefore have not realised their potential for moiraileagence. This is because Vyvyan's JOB is to look after Gamzee, and Vyvyan does not properly realise how defensive he can get with Gamzee even when not in his presence. To his other patients, it is quite obvious he has a favourite. The 50/50 is Vyvyan acting as the stand-in lusus Gamzee never had, and Gamzee being on his best behaviour and even physically protecting Vyvyan like a guard dog should he become endangered (which happens unfortunately often, as some of his patients can be quite volatile as Alternian trolls are not entirely used to the whole idea of therapy).

He still likes foraging, and part of his daily activities with recovering patients is going on long walks, specimen watching (birds and bugs), observing rivers and other natural structures and (Gamzee's absolute least favourite) early morning hiking.

Vyvyan's quirk is a nod to 42 being my special number. It is also a nod to 42 being the answer to the universe.

He has a very slight lisp

Vyvyan does not speak to all of the heroes and doomed trolls on Earth-C, however has interacted with Eridan (who visits Gamzee sometimes), Tavros (who visits Gamzee frequently), Equius (who comes to rehab for anger management and anti-castism), Karkat (who appointed him to have such a facility in the first place), Gamzee (his first patient), and Sollux (who is contacted whenever the Rescue Team base encounters power outages or other technical difficulties.)

Vyvyan is diurnal, and unfortunately, Gamzee is now as well. Most of his other patients are nocturnal, and so Vyvyan sometimes does both day and night shifts. He wants more people to work at the centre with him to help him run it, however the only person who tried to sign up so far was Kankri, and Vyvyan did not see him fit to be a therapist just yet. Hi!! How do you meet and make genuine friends on Sky? I’ve been playing for a few years now, but whenever I get a chance to chat with other players they either speak a different language or ask me a bunch of personal questions 😵‍💫. There seems to be so many funny and interesting people online but I never meet them in person!

I had to think about this one for a bit since im not good at making friends either JGGHFJ

I think it’s definitely easier to find people to connect with online rather than in game. A lot of the people I’m closer with in sky are usually people I find through online platforms rather than in game (though not saying its impossible to find good ingame friends, just might be harder) . A general thing would be to find those who have similar interests or humour, and as well as to spend time with the friends every once in a while, whether it be candlerunning or just hanging out to talk.

If you want a more in depth rambling of me going on about everything I know about making friends, then:

Ok well this is kinda for anyone reading this JGHJDJ

A general thing about friends is to find a common interest to talk about like OCs, art, sky in general, other games, anything basically, especially if you’re like me and bad at conversations. Even after you find the initial spark, it can get hard to keep up with regular conversations afterwards and it’s easy to drift apart. If you want to get closer with someone it’s definitely good to start conversations every once in a while. This can go from telling them things you think will be funny or showing them things to just things about your day. A lot of people appreciate this kind of thing and usually get comfortable to reciprocate it (unless you’re like me and really bad at stating conversations HFBSIC)

In sky, this can also be asking the other if they want to cr together or eden, even oobing if you’re into that. It gives the chance to hang out and talk to each other.

Of course, if the other person doesn’t respond with a lot of enthusiasm or doesnt seem to put effort into the friendship, it might be time to back off to give them space. They could either be tired and need a break or they arent interested in the friendship anymore. An exception would be if the person is already socially awkward or isn’t good at starting conversations. It can be hard to tell sometimes.

If you wanna find friends

For finding friends online, its usually finding a community and finding people within it or becoming a part of the community. if you’re social enough you can join discord servers and talk to people. Even if you arent as social, discord server can still help find people to interact with, like cr partners, heart trade, needing help people/finding help, that could lead to friendship. There’s also being on social media, though it might be harder if you dont post things or if you arent really noticed or something, though it’s not like you need to be famous to be able to find people. You can also find others on social media who are already asking for friends. Ive seen quite a few on tumblr and sometimes on other platforms where people asks if anyone wants to be sky friends. Twitch, the streaming platform yeah, also has quite a few sky creators that are willing to friend pretty much anyone, which could be another way to find a community (since quite a few people on sky twitch know each other).

For in game in sky: Moths are definitely easier to become friends with since you know guiding them and everything and watching them grow up, except moths are wild cards and some are euaheh weird and others never show up again. A lot of older players already have their own friends and friend groups and then other people play inconsistently or have different timezones/playtimes, so theres a lot more luck when making friends on sky. Best bet would just be keep talking to people and when you do find someone you bond with, continue to join and check in on them every once in a while to keep up the friendship.

Joining friends in game can be scary for many (me included), but it usually ends up not as bad as you think, of course respecting dnd spells (or cape codes if they have those). Even if you do join at an inconvenient time, its a simple “oh, sorry/mb” and you head out, leaving minimal damage and awkwardness.

Of course since this is the internet and people can be bad, if people cross boundaries even after being warned once or multiple times, or you just dont enjoy hanging out with, its okay to block and cut people off. No one is obligated to hang out with anyone nor responsible for the happiness of someone else. Having self worth and internet safety is important folks

Anyways people are complicated and theres a lot of ifs and possibilities and other stuff what not so take whatever advice i spit out mindlessly for granted JFHDO i dont know what im doing

The next few days were somewhat relaxing. You hung out with Jared, Misha and some of the other cast and crew. Noticeably absent from the get togethers was Jensen. One night Misha joking around said Jensen must be held up at his apartment with his latest flavor of the month. You looked at Jared and he offered you an apologetic look. You smiled softly and turned your head, tears pricking your eyes.

You got up to walk in the kitchen to grab a water and Jared followed you. “Hey Y/N, you okay.” He questioned. You told him what happened the other day before Jensen left and he was just as confused as you were. He sent Jensen a text.

Jared: Hey man. We are all hanging out at Misha’s if you’re around.

Jensen: We might swing by. Not sure yet. I’ll let you know.

Jared: “we” who’s we?

Jensen: Katie. You met her a few months ago. We ran into each other the other day and have been hanging out.

Jared: Yeah I remember her. Um, what about Y/N? I thought you liked her.

Jensen: Yeah, it didn’t work out. It’s for the best. She’s your love interest on the show and I just think it would be for the best if we didn’t hook up.

Jared: okay man. Whatever you say. Maybe see you later.

Jared looked at you and said “I’ve been friends with him for years and I don’t know what he’s thinking. He’s out with some girl right now. He said they might come by. I’m so sorry Y/N. I swear he told me he wanted to be with you.” A lump formed in your throat and you felt sick. “It’s okay Jared. I mean we only kissed and I guess he decided he really didn’t want to see where we went.” You said fighting back tears.

You took a sip of water and went outside to the deck. You sat listening to the crickets and the laughter from inside. You couldn’t believe your heart was breaking. It was just a kiss. He changed his mind. He’s allowed to do that. It’s for the best. Getting involved with a coworker is always a bad idea. You kept telling yourself this over and over. Then you heard his voice. You turned around and saw Jensen with his arm around a very attractive, slender, blonde woman.

Everyone was greeting Jensen and her. You noticed he kept looking around. You wondered what he was looking for. You heard Jensen introducing the woman as “Katie” and she seemed really sweet. You stayed on the deck unable to move. Jared saw you and made his way outside to you. “Hey, you okay” he asked throwing an arm around your shoulder. “Yeah I’m good. Just wanted to get some fresh air. I’m not feeling great so I think I’m gonna head home.” You said fighting back tears. Jared nodded and walked back inside with you.

You made your way through the people saying goodbye as you walked. You were almost at the door when Misha stopped you. “Hey, Y/N. Where are you going” he asked. As you turned to tell him goodbye you saw Jensen with Katie standing next to him. “I’m heading out. Not feeling too good. I think I had a little too much to drink and not enough to eat.” You said not making eye contact with Jensen. Misha completely clueless said “oh okay. Yeah that sucks. Before you leave did you get a chance to meet Jensen’s girl, Katie.” “No, I don’t think I have. Hello, I’m Y/N. It’s nice to meet you Katie. I don’t mean to be rude but I really should be going.” You said after shaking her hand.

You looked up at Jensen and nodded. He looked at you almost apologizing but you had to be mistaken. “Well good night everyone, nice to meet you Katie. I’m sure I’ll see you around again soon.” You spun on your heels and went out the door.

Jensen followed you outside. You knew he was there. You could smell his cologne. “Hey, Y/N wait a second please.” He almost whispered. You looked at him “what Jensen”. “I need to explain. I” “No! (You cut him off) You don’t need to explain anything. You kissed me, wanted to be together, then you said you didn’t. There’s nothing to fucking explain. Go back inside to your girlfriend. I’m going home.” You hissed at him. You climbed in your car, slammed the door and took off.

Jensen stood in the driveway for a few minutes then went back inside. He went over to Jared and asked for your number. Jared hesitantly gave it to him.

*Time jump 3 weeks*

You started to become more comfortable with the set, the cast and the crew. Today however was going to be a more challenging shoot. Your character and Sam have sex for the first time. You’ve read over the script multiple times, met with the crew who would be present during the scene and Jared. They explained everything to you and assured you none of your body would appear on screen. Just your bare back and the only crew on set would be the director, Jared, you and two female assistants to help you in any way you needed.

Your wardrobe was flesh colored intimate covers and your robe to get you to and from set. Jared’s was pretty much the same thing. Jared nodded. “So Y/N, the director is Jensen.” Jared said. “Wait, what?!?” You exclaimed. “This can’t be.” You said. “Why would they have him direct?!” You practically yelled.

“He has experience and he was available today. The studio didn’t want to push the schedule so we were behind. It’s going to be okay. I promise. Jensen is very professional and I’ll be there.” He assured you. You sighed. “Okay Jared. Let’s get this over with.” You stood heading towards the door.

As you and Jared approached the set you saw Jensen looking incredible. You instinctively bit your lip. He was dressed in jeans and a t-shirt that hugged his chest and biceps. It wasn’t fair how this man could look like sex on two legs no matter what he was wearing.

Jensen’s voice boomed over the set asking for everyone to clear out unless they were part of the scene. He approached you and Jared and asked if you two were ready. You both nodded. He went over the scene and how he was going to get multiple angles and shots so they can piece together the best ones. He called for places. You and Jared removed your robes. The assistant helping you held up a sheet to wrap around you until you got in the bed. You climbed in and snuggled to “Sam”. “And action” Jensen called.

The beginning of the scene was you laying beside Sam and he was making sure you were ready for the next step. You nodded and he cupped your face kissing you. Things started heating up and the scene moved on. Sam was hovering over Lilah. “God you’re so beautiful, Lilah. Are you sure you’re ready” Sam asked. “Yes I am. Take me Sam. I need you” you said. I fucked up man. She wants nothing more to do with me. Not that I blame her.” Jensen said. Jared looked at him and said “Man you have to figure out what you want. If you want her then tell her. Stop being a coward. If you don’t want her then let her be. It’s not right man.”

“You’re right man. Can you give us a minute to talk” Jensen asked his friend. Jared nodded and left the building. You sat on the bed covered up as Jensen approached you. “Hey Y/N. Can we talk” he asked. You nodded and he sat on the bed. “Look you were doing an incredible job with that scene. I’m so sorry for being an ass.” “If I did so well why did you keep interrupting the scene” you asked. “Honestly, I got jealous. I wanted you to call my name out and me being the one having you. I’m so sorry.” He said as he put his head down.

You took his hand and said “I don’t understand. You’re with Katie and you made it clear you didn’t want me. Why would you be jealous.” “I’m not with her. I don’t want her. I want you. I’ve always wanted you. I was scared. I’m sorry.” Jensen said kissing your hand.

You took your hand and lifted his chin staring into his green eyes. You leaned in and kissed him. At first it felt like he was hesitant but then he deepened the kiss. A small pet peeve of mine is when youtube videos, podcasts, and things like that do previews before actually starting. As in, right at the beginning they play an out of context clip of something that happens later in whatever you're watching/listening to. I always skip them if I can. Maybe it's silly of me to be frustrated by it since it's just meant to be a "hook" to keep you invested.

But idk it usually feels unnecessary? Most of the audience probably hit play because they were already interested for whatever reason, why not just do a strong intro that doesn't give away one of the best moments? Plus I'd personally prefer to experience the moment with the proper context. Sometimes the previewed bit ends up kinda ruining that part for me and it isn't as funny/cool as it could've been. this feels like really a dumb question, but is it actually legal for mcyts to use minecraft skins made by other people?

like i don’t think philza or tubbo made their own main skins that they’re most known for, considering they’re just bleach and south park characters

so they’re basically using someone else’s art without paying them or crediting them for it, but also it feels really dumb for a minecraft skin to not be fair use right?

it feels like one of those situations where the creator of the skin could feasibly sue, but also why would they bother
