Oh yeah I’ve definitely heard of that happening in the Megamind fandom… I’m not entirely sure why. I mean, of course, the protagonist literally being a blue alien means the concept isn’t baseless. But unlike Danny Phantom, I can’t think of anything in Megamind that made it super clear how absolutely on the table Vivisection was.

I know! Thats what I said to my friend like at least we're just taking a canonical statement and going "what if they did tho" but where in megamind is he threatened with vivisection??

they clearly thought. but uhhh chief his super hero costume is the outfit he died in. we can't change it.

but they *had* to change it.

and instead of any half-dozen solutions i can think of off the top of my head (e.g. season 2 power up, take advantage of his already canonical light shapeshifting powers)

they went "okay so a ghost genie re-writes reality so he never met Sam and therefore neve rdied so Sam convinces him to die all over again but not before slapping her own home-made logo on his chest"

I got a question about the dissection/vivisection fics okay, why do some people write it as of his organs being touched would hurt? Cuz like our organs are always wigglin around and doing stuff and we cant really feel any of that. So i dont think thatd hurt much nor do i think thered be much physical sensation of having hands move round inside you. I mean maybe if they got like real rough itd hurt. But i feel like most the pain would in fact come from like your skin and muscles being cut open or if they punctured an organ maybe 🤔

-I know the black front parts are super outta the norm for RH but i liked the idea of Poppy lookin like a little bug

-Bella is always so difficult for me cuz her dolls are all really preppy but her og doll had that little california tshirt and in the webisodes she actually tends to dress more casual a lot. Tried to lean towards her casual style for this just cuz my slime girls line up needed more variation and i wanted pants

-you can't really see it however i do imagine bella's wearing a little two piece swim suit under her clothes. Her time in california really changed her.... in that shes now always ready for a spontaneous beach trip

-didn't change much on Ruby, I don't have any strong opinions on her look tbh, kinda miss her silly hat but i thought it was a fun opportunity to give her a clear plastic headband

-Sunny :) She's perfect already tbh I just wanted to give her an ice cream sweater

-I love Jade but there's something i just do not like about the one. Like give her her baggy pants back :/

-Skyler, idk I just thought it'd be fun to try and make her hair kinda cloud like, and the front braids are meant to look like rain. I thought it was cute.

-Violet's at her best when they're trying to make her look like Rarity from mlp. And I'll stand by that.

-Idk how well this design would translate to a doll but idc tbh i just hate her doll form so much, I want to think she's pretty so bad, she literally has pink hair but shes just.... and her Makeup is.... ugh
