"did sirius black just wink at you?"
no. you're trying to pretend he didn't at least, this is the second time so far this term sirius has winked at you and he smirks at you whenever you accidentally makes eye contact.
sirius black cannot like you, he just can't. he likes loud, confident, thin, conventionally attractive girls, he does not go for girls like you. black dates 'hot' girls like marlene mckinnon, not you.
not a girl like you, soft, cute, round.
black cannot like you, he likes someone who's like him, a gryffindor, popular, likeable, approachable, someone with the same friends. someone who he can walk next to in the corridor as he can sling his arm around their shoulder with zero shame.
that's why sirius black cannot like you. you're not his type and at this point you're getting annoyed with his constant fucking around with you.
you pretend you've never shown much interest in him before. you don't talk to him in class and don't talk to him in general, you pretend to think his jokes are immature and his hair is ridiculous and everyone believes you, apart from the man himself. you scoff and roll your eyes at the snarky remarks made in class towards the teachers although you hide your mouth behind your hand and slightly smile, you bite your lip trying to stop giggling, you pretend you want to support your house and watch all the quidditch matches but the only reason you attend every single game is to watch sirius play.
sirius black is smarter than people believe him to be, he knows that it's all an act that you put up. and he loves it.
he loves the way you turn your head away from the door every time he walks into class late. he loves to hear you stifle your giggling as you see the latest prank he's pulled like snape walking around with bright green hair. he loves the big jumpers you wear when you always pull your sleeves down so they cover your hands. he loves the way your chubby cheeks become more prominent on your face as you're talking carefree to your friends.
"black did not wink at me, he probably doesn't even know my name. i'm not his type."
you're sitting in the courtyard and you're pretending you haven't noticed the marauders. you want to read to get some work done but the library is too cold and your common room is too crowded. you try and focus on your essay but not only are the marauders near you, a couple of your friends are distracting you too.
one of your friends is bending down to your eye level, blocking out the sun while complaining that you're wasting the day, your other friend being just as melodramatic waving their hands about complaining about something you're paying zero attention to.
in the corner of your eye you see james potter laying on the ground fiddling with a golden snitch, which you think is strange because though you go to the gryffindor games to watch sirius you do know that james is a chaser. remus lupin's reading a muggle book and is somehow being able to ignore his mates chattering. peter pettigrew has his hand stuck in a can of something that he's trying to shake out off while sirius is snickering at him.
thinking you've looked at him long enough for it to start becoming suspicious you turn your full attention back to your essay.
"oi, black's looking at you again." your friend shouted to you in a whisper.
"no he's not," you hiss back not looking up.
"yes he is!" came from both of your friends.
"i'm not his type guys," you reply getting exasperated, feeling like you've had this exact conversation so many times by now.
"who says?"
you freeze, knowing that voice, having dreams about that voice. finally you look up from your essay to see sirius smirking from behind you having heard your conversation. your two friends have the biggest grins on their face, i told you so grins.

Joke Pt 3
Young Sirius Black x Chubby/Plus Size Reader
Imagine: Sirius really likes you but his reputation makes you think he’s using you for a joke. He has to prove his feelings for you but it goes horribly wrong.

Now that you were pretty much alone again, you pulled out the earrings once more to admire them, holding them in your hands and you had to urge to bring them up to hold against your chest. You’d never received such a gift before, you loved them. Maybe he really didn’t mean to hurt your feelings?
______________________________________________________________
A bored sigh left your mouth as you waited in the Gryffindor common room for Lily to return. Everyone had left to go to Hogsmeade but you hadn’t gotten your permission slip signed in time and couldn’t go. You hadn’t stuck around long, not wanting to cause a scene by arguing with the professor. You said goodbye to Lily and walked back to the common room to lie down on the couch. There was only a couple of third years around, everyone else was at classes or on trips out. You supposed it was going to be a very lonely couple of hours. You turned over to face the fireplace, watching the flames was calming and it relaxed you. You jumped when you felt something touch your leg, pulling them closer to you and spinning your head around to see Sirius standing next to you, his hands in the air.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to frighten you, was just wondering if I could sit here.” You didn’t say anything but you moved to sit up so he could sit on the other end of the couch. You bent your legs up towards you and looked at the couch arm, “What are you doing here?” Sirius scoffed out a laugh, “What? I’m not allowed to be in my own common room?” You rolled your eyes, “You know what I meant, why aren’t you on the trip with everyone else?” Sirius shrugged his shoulders, “Parents wouldn’t sign my permission slip.” You glanced over in his direction, “That sucks.” He made a noise of indifference, “No, not really, I wasn’t really going to do anything there anyways.”
You nodded and turned to face him properly, having to turn your head every couple of seconds was hurting your neck a little, “So what are you gonna do until your entourage come back?” Sirius chuckled and shrugged his shoulder again, “I’m not quite sure, how about you?” You sighed in thought, “Well, I was thinking about going to the library to do some homework.” Sirius blurted out, “No, that’s boring. I’ve got an idea. Wait here.” You were confused as Sirius jumped up from the couch and ran upstairs to the boys dorms. You didn’t want to just leave, that would be kind of mean, even if he deserved it. You weren’t exactly sure why you were being friendly to Sirius after what he did, but you had a feeling you were going to regret it.
You waited there for five minutes before Sirius finally returned, with a piece of fabric in his arm that looked like a cloak and a plain piece of parchment. You gave him a hesitant look, “What are you expecting to do with those?” Sirius just grinned and waved you over as he started walking out of the common room. You groaned as you got up and followed him, wishing you hadn’t said anything to him now. You should’ve known he would eventually rope you into one of his pranks. You’d only took one step outside and you looked around but didn’t see Sirius anywhere. He was right here, where did he go? You went to go walk down the stairs when you felt a tap on your shoulder behind you. You turned around but there was nothing there.
Just as you were starting to get creeped out, you felt something get thrown over your head and suddenly Sirius was standing right in front of you, “Hello gorgeous.” You rolled your eyes but couldn’t stop yourself from blushing at how close the two of you were, you were an inch away from touching. You tried to step back but Sirius put his arm around you to keep you close, “Careful, wouldn’t want to cloak to fall off and reveal us sneaking around would you?” While Sirius wouldn’t mind it at all if he was caught with you so close to him, you were worried what people might think about you considering what happened a couple weeks ago with the badges. You sighed but stayed close to him, “Where did you get this anyway?” “It’s James’, some kind of family trinket or something. Comes in really handy for pranks, and so does this.” He showed you the piece of parchment and you sighed, taking it into your hands, “And how does a piece of parchment help you with pranks?” Sirius reached over to tap it with his wand, “I solemnly swear I am up to no good.”
You looked in awe as text started to show up on the parchment, and then confusion, “Who are these guys?” Sirius grinned, clearly excited, “They’re us, me and the guys. I’m Padfoot, Remus is Mooney, James is Prongs and Peter is Wormtail.” You hummed, “So this shows you where everyone is in the castle? No wonder you lot get away with so much.” Sirius nodded, pointing to a corridor where you could see a couple of teachers passing then turned to face each other. While you were snooping, Sirius saw a teacher heading this way and covered your mouth, pushing you against the wall. You felt your heart racing and you blushed but once you saw the professor walk past you two, you calmed down. Sirius moved away from you, “Are you okay?” You looked down and nodded, “Yeah I’m fine.” Sirius could tell there was something up with you but didn’t question it, taking your hand and leading you in the direction of Filch’s office.
You wouldn’t admit it but it was kind of thrilling sneaking around without anyone knowing you were there. You doubted you would agree to do this on a regular basis but you could be persuaded to do it again. You saw Filch going into his office and just before the door shut, Sirius pulled you inside with him. You watched as Sirius pulled out his wand and whispered a spell that made the desk start to float. Filch gasped and cried out, watching in horror as the cabinets started flickering open and shut again. You had to hold back a laugh as he fell over trying to leave and Sirius put his wand to his throat to make his voice sound more ghostly as he shouted, “Get Out!” Filch whimpered and practically crawled out of the room and you heard him shouting, “Demon Furniture! Demon Furniture!” as he ran down the hallway.” Once the coast was clear, you let yourself laugh out loud, “Is he always this gullible?” Sirius chuckled but it was quieter than normal. He wasn’t really paying attention to what you said, too bust focusing on your laugh. He had never heard you laugh so hard before, he didn’t want it to end. He felt proud that he was the one who made you laugh like that.
You sighed in relief as you stopped laughing, it was starting to hurt your sides, you were laughing so much. You looked at Sirius, a smile on your face but it went away when you saw how he was looking at you. You cleared your throat, “What?” He stepped closer and looked into your eyes, “Can I show you something? But you can’t tell anyone else about it.” You nodded, this was possibly the most exciting day you’ve had all year, you wouldn’t mind experiencing a little more.
You followed Sirius out of Filch’s office, still hiding underneath the cloak. Having to be confined against Sirius was making you feel a little warm under your jumper. Just as your fingers fiddled with the hem, preparing to take it off, Sirius suddenly stopped in front of you. You didn’t manage to stop yourself in time and crashed right into his back, your hands instinctively clinging onto his sides to steady yourself in case you fell. Sirius felt heat rush to his cheeks having felt your body pressed against his back, your arms half wrapped around him. But as soon as he felt it, it was gone as you pushed yourself away from him to stand by yourself. Sirius turned his head to look at you over his shoulder, “We’re here.”
Your eyebrows furrowed in confusion as you looked straight at a plain stone wall, identical to many others within the castle. Sirius grinned at your face as he closed his eyes and started to think. You looked at either side, looking out for any students or teachers headed your way, but there was no one in sight. You glanced back at the wall and your eyes widened ever so slightly as you watched a pattern start to emerge on the wall in front of you. It grew and grew until it showed two large doors. Your mouth was parted in shock, how had you never noticed this before. A snicker ruined your awe and you glared at Sirius who did nothing to hide his amusement. He opened the door and headed inside waiting until you were both safely inside until taking the cloak off. You gasped as you looked around the room, it looked like a similar version of your common room but cosier, there was something about it that made you feel safe and protected. Sirius watched you wander about the room, “This is the Room of Requirement. It comes to those in need. Me and the guys found it a couple years ago.”
You had sat yourself down on one of the many couches in the room, “What would you need another common room for? All to yourself?” Sirius followed you to the couch, “It doesn’t always look like this, the room alters to fit what you need it for.” You nodded in understanding, “So why do you need this room?” Sirius shrugged, “I guess it’s where I feel most comfortable, where I see all the people most important to me.” You weren’t looking at him but you didn’t miss his pointed stare as he spoke. You tugged the sleeves of your jumper down over your wrists as you looked down at your feet, a rush of awkwardness overcoming you, “So what are we doing here then?”
Sirius shrugged and looked around, “Whatever we want, the room will adapt to bring us whatever we require, hence the name, so just name it?” You slowly spun around, eyes taking in everything that was laid out over tabletops and on the couches. Your eyes caught a familiar chessboard, “Want to play some chess?” It wasn’t the most interesting idea but it was all you could think of. Sirius hummed in thought, “Alright but we’ll make it interesting, after each game, the loser has to reveal something about themselves.” You sighed and rolled your eyes at him but sat down, of course he had to use this to pry into your personal life. But again, there was nothing else to do until everyone returned from Hogsmeade so you might as well waste the time somehow. You placed the chess board atop the coffee table in front of the fireplace and the two of you sat either side of it on the floor, the thick rug on the ground was warm and soft enough that it wasn’t uncomfortable.
Within twenty minutes, Sirius held a triumphant smirk on his face as his king smashed your queen into pieces, “Checkmate (Y/L/N), time to reveal your secrets,” he wiggled his fingers in front of you and you didn’t bother hiding a small smile as you looked up, thinking of what to say. “Um, okay, I’ll say that my favourite colour is red.” You looked at Sirius and was taken aback by his unimpressed expression, “What?” Sirius rolled his eyes, “That was nothing, rule change, you have to answer the winner’s question of choice with complete honesty.” You huffed, “Okay fine, what is it?” “I want to know what your favourite animal is.”
You shrugged in mild annoyance, “I don’t see how that’s much of a step up from my favourite colour, but okay. My favourite animal would be dogs , they’re just so cute and usually pretty friendly. My parents have three and I love them all.” Sirius smiled to himself and you raised an eyebrow at him but he shook his head, “Nothing, now come on, let’s go again.”
Almost two hours had passed and it was abundantly clear that you were out of your league playing chess with Sirius. You had lost every single game and had been forced into spilling the beans about your hobbies, wether Lily fancied James or if he had no chance at all, which classes you liked best, what the muggle world was like, your favourite things about the wizarding world etc. You had started to get bored of chess after losing so many times but you didn’t want to seem like a sore loser though you did nothing to hide the pout on your face as it appeared Sirius had the upper hand once again. Sirius smiled to himself as he watched you staring at all the difference pieces left on the board, your eyebrows furrowed deep in concentration as you looked for a way to win. He purposely moved his knight away to leave his queen open to be attacked and watched with restrained glee as you sat up in excitement, practically shouting, “Checkmate! Checkmate! Finally!”
Sirius couldn’t help the chuckles as he watched you and you couldn’t help filling up with embarrassment, your cheeks flushing red as you settled back down. You cleared your throat, “Okay now it’s my turn to ask you a question and you have to be completely honest.” Sirius nodded in return at your pause. You sighed and looked him in the eyes, “Do you really like me or is it all a joke?” Sirius’s face turned serious as he stared back at you, “I know everyone thinks of me as just some prankster, as some kind of ‘manwhore’ as I heard Molly say before, but I never intend to hurt anyone’s feelings. I don’t pretend to like someone for a prank, I know I went about it all the wrong way but I promise I do like you (Y/N), you’re different than the other girls, I can’t stop thinking about you. But you’ve said no and I’ll respect that now like I should have done in the beginning. I’m still really sorry about that and I’m glad we’re friends again at least.”
You bit your lip and nodded your head, his words seemed genuine and that was good enough for you. You gave him a soft smile, “Thank you, now come on, Lily and the others should be back any moment now so let’s head back, I’m satisfied now that I’ve won once.” Sirius got up and followed you out, using the map to show when it would be clear to exit the room of Requirement. You didn’t bother hiding with the cloak on the way back, the two of you walking in a comfortable silence back to the Gryffindor common room. The two of you headed inside of the painting and once it opened, you heard loud voices all chattering over each other, indicating everyone had returned already. Sirius turned to you, “Well, I had fun today maybe I can help you waste time again?” You scoffed, “I’ll think about it, it was pretty fun.”
Sirius couldn’t help the big grin on his face as he turned and walked over to the other marauders. You watched him walk away for a moment and just as you were about to turn away, you saw a piece of parchment fall out of his pocket and land on the floor in front of you. You quickly picked it up before it could get stood on and turned it over to see what it was. Your eyes skimmed over the paper and saw it was his permission slip for the Hogsmeade trip today, only at the bottom it was clearly signed by both of his parents. You looked up but he hadn’t seen you pick it up so you quickly folded it and put it into your own trouser pocket, heading upstairs to see if Lily had come straight back as well. You bit your lip, trying to ignore the warm feeling you felt in your chest as your hand gripped the parchment in your pocket.

I'm just thinking about Sirius Black as your typical Doberman boyfriend, because it doesn't matter how much he tries to hide this, all Black's are possessive as hell, it's in their blood.
He NEEDS to have a hand on you when you two are in the same room. He knows your classes by heart, he knows better than he knows his classes.
Sirius loves when you're wearing one of his jerseys, because it shows to everyone that you're his and that he's serious (No pun intended) about his feelings with you.
And you still remember his eyes when he confessed to you, it had a hint of madness, and later on you will discover that when Black's doesn't achieve their biggest desire, they slowly loses their sanity, and it clicks to you that Sirius was suffering before you two got together because he genuinely thought the two of you wouldn't be together because of his reputation.
There's a urgency everytime Sirius kisses you, as if he was about to devour you. The way his hands are holding you tightly, the way he buries his face on your neck after the kiss ends. As if he needed to tattoo your scent into his brain.
Sirius writes you parts of muggle songs in the ends of his letters to you, so everytime you listen to these songs, you remember him.
He would turn into a dark wizard if it meant that you will be protected, if it means having yourself for eternity, it doesn't matter if you're muggleborn, half-blood or pureblood. You're his, and his only.
And I pray for whoever's soul try to separate you two.

can you do a fic with sirius black and chubby msl reader smut preferably, and you can do anything for the plot
Sirius Black x Chubby Male reader
Content: Smut, praises, insecurity, oral (reader receiving)
Sirius absolutely loves every part of you and he makes damn sure to show it.
Here were you under Sirius as he kissed every inch of your body, your stomach, your chest, thighs, neck, shoulders, and lips. He was panting heavily with lust as he made damn sure you knew how much he loves you.
"Fuck you are gorgeous baby~" He says in a husky lustful voice. His hands then move down to unbutton and unzip your pants before removing them.
You were in a daze of pleasure and lust. Your eyes half lidded as a soft moan escapes you at the feeling of Sirius kissing you through your boxers. You knew what his goal was.
Earlier today someone made a joke about your body which for some reason really got to you. Sirius picked up on your uncomfortable energy pretty quickly and shut the person up immediately. Once you two were alone you were still bothered by the joke. So Sirius wanted to make you feel utterly gorgeous and he was determined.
"Look at me baby I wanna see your gorgeous face" He says as he slowly pulls down your boxers exposing your cock to the cold air.
You look down at him and your eyes almost roll back at the sight and feeling of Sirius giving a kitty lick to your tip. He grins and chuckles softly when you moan.
"There's that beautiful face" He says with a wide grin before he wraps his mouth around your cock and starts to bob his head. His hands gripping your beautiful chubby thighs as he did.
Fuck he is way too good at giving head. He may as well have no gag reflex and whenever he would gag he can easily brush it off.
He was bobbing his head with such passion. The feeling of him moaning around you cock and your cock hitting the back of his throat felt amazing to the point if had you throwing your head back and your hands intwined in his hair.
He removes his mouth but replaces it with his hand. "You gonna cum for me baby?" He asks with a lustful grin he could feel you twitching and he knew you were close
"I want you to use my mouth baby, use what's yours" He says before he wraps his mouth around you again in which you did what he said.
You gripped his hair and started to move his head and thrust into his mouth, fucking his mouth slowly as your eyes rolled back
Eventually you were starting to reach your climax by now you were fucking his mouth a little roughly but he didn't mind... He just wanted his beautiful lover to feel amazing...
Once you hit your climax he swallow it all not letting a drop spill. As you both take a minute he kisses your thighs...
"You still got some more in you baby?~" He asks softly with a devilish grin....

(thank u anon i am obsessed with them!)
cw : sirius walks in on reader in the bath! no funny business but it is included. 1k words
┌───────────────────────── · · · · ♡
“Get your feet off of Marsha!” You glare at the man in front of you, pulling your Squishmallow to safety from beneath Sirius. He rolled his eyes, moving his legs to get comfortable again.
“Well, darlin’, how am I supposed to know I’m not supposed to use pillows as pillows?” He smirks at you, grabbing the remote to turn the television volume down. “C’mere, let me make it up to you,” He wraps his arms around your waist, pulling you down to him.
A small, scared squeak leaves your throat as you topple onto the man. He hugs you tightly, enjoying the feeling of your softness below him as he snuggles his scruffy face into yours. You grumble at the tightness of his hold, squirming a little until he sighs out dramatically. “You’re so much more comfortable than Martha,”
“It’s Marsha, you dunce!” You huff out. “Like a marshmallow, duh,” Sirius looks over at the huge stuffed… whatever it was. Marshmallow pillow? Merlin, he hadn’t gotten used to living with such a princess like you.
A princess who was currently getting closer and closer to kneeing on a very precious part of his body, squirming around in his hug. He sighed and let go, looking at you woundedly as you get up and walk towards the kitchen.
Remus had left his room when he’d heard the sound of your squeals, meaning to check on you. When he’d found you safe, in Sirius’ arms, he’d taken it upon himself to make some tea. “He attacked me, Remmy!” You exclaimed dramatically. “How did I ever brave it out of that fight?”
Remus chuckled, pushing a mug toward you. “I am so proud.”
Sirius rolled his eyes, and grabbed Marsha from the floor, shoving her under his head before turning the volume back up.
The next time he catches you alone is when you’re resting in the bath, candles lit around you. The bubbles are up to your neck, scented strawberry that matches the sweet lip oil that graces your lip.
Sirius waltzes in, fuzzy towel wrapped around his waist and neck. “Don’t tell me you wasted all the hot water,” your roommate groans around the toothbrush in his mouth.
You move the bubbles around quickly, making sure you’re covered from the intrusion. “Sirius! The bathroom is occupied.” You hiss out, trying your hardest not to blush.
“Please believe me when I say I do not have time to be ogling you, sweet thing. I need to be at Quidditch practice in half an hour and someone,” He points his toothbrush at you, white foam nearly cascading down. “Decided to use all the hot water so she can sit in it for half an hour and smell like strawberries,”
You roll your eyes and feel that familiar burning flame on your cheeks. “I didn’t know you had to coach today, I’m sorry,” You huff, blowing a few bubbles out of your line of sight. With the soap out of the way, you can see his tattoos that littered his chest and arms. Your eyes squint, trying to read the words that were transcribed onto his soft skin until he moves away again.
“It’s okay, dearest. I can never be mad at you. Not when you look so pretty,” He smiles, using some sort of cleaning charm on himself before rinsing his toothpaste out in the sink.
“I thought you said you weren’t ogling me,” you mumble, trying to ignore the way your heart speeds up a bit at the sweet words.
“I don’t need to ogle you to know how beautiful you are,” He throws over his shoulder as he leaves the bathroom, the fluffy towel around his waist swaying gently.
You bite your lip to conceal your smile, pushing yourself below into the water to cool yourself down.
Your hair is still a little damp when Sirius and James come home later that day. They find you making hot chocolate in the kitchen, swaying and humming to some tune playing from Remus’ pretty record spinner. Sirius stands in the doorway, taking in the sight of you. Your full thighs and supple cheeks on display as you flutter around, working diligently at whatever you were brewing on the stove.
James comes up from behind you and leaves a chaste kiss on your cheek, sneaking a peek into the pot. “Hi, Jamesie,” You smile at the man, pouring him a small cup of the sweet drink.
He thanks you and drifts away into the bathroom to take a shower. Sirius begins to walk into the kitchen, following James’ movements. You feel the man stop behind you and your heartbeat begins to quicken. Mentally, you will it to stop as you stir the pot. “Hi, Sirius,” You begin to turn around when he stops you, hugging you from behind. “How was practice?”
“You smell like strawberries,” He ignores your question, tucking his head into the crook of your neck and inhaling. “And chocolate.” He pulls away, only slightly. “Do I get some, sweet cheeks?”
You let out a small laugh at the nickname. “I guess I owe you one from today,” You mumble and pour two mugs of the drink, turning in Sirius’ grasp to face him.
He takes the mug between his hands and sips dramatically, waiting for a bit as if he was really tasting it. “How decadent! How delightful! Absolutely stunning,” He dramatics, nearly spilling his drink. Your giggles hit his ears and he looks down at you fondly. “How about,” He sets the mug down. “I shower. A real shower. And then we drink some more of this delicious drink and watch a movie, hm?” He leans down, sweet breath washing over you.
You pretend to mull it over, humming and taking a drink from your mug. “Okay,” you begin. “But I get to cuddle Marsha,”
“As long as I get to cuddle you,” Sirius shrugs, turning on his heel to start on his shower.
You watch as he leaves the room, before turning and squealing in flustered excitement to yourself quietly.

ok wait. rockstar!sirius with chubby reader. r is scared to go public with their relationship because people might say he deserves someone prettier, and he reassures her?
modern!au slightly NSFW !! fem!reader
Sirius is never gonna try and tell you what to do. He would never tell you to do anything you weren't ready for, and that includes going public as his girlfriend.
But fuck, he wants you to.
No matter what you might sometimes say about yourself, or what others might say, Sirius thinks you're pretty — the kind of pretty he wants to show off all the fucking time. He doesn't know how to explain it but he's willing to try.
"You look like a flower," he says quietly.
You peek up at him where you're sitting in the folding chair next to his vanity. "What does that mean?" you ask with a smile.
"I don't know. You're always so..." He strokes up the curve of your neck from your left shoulder and with the back of his right hand. It's a very specific movement. "Fresh-faced."
You smile, your expression exactly the kind of open softness he'd been talking about. "That's not true! I haven't washed my face yet today, so I know you're lying."
"I'm not lying."
You tip your head toward his hand and he takes the hint, fingers covering the bump of your cheek and thumb under your chin. He tilts your head up.
"You know that photo we took yesterday, by the pool?"
Your smile wanes the tiniest bit. You're far from immune to the worries most girls feel in a bikini, and you hadn't liked the photo. You hadn't made him delete it, though. Progress.
"It looks good, and it would fit really well as the cover photo on my twitter."
You bite the inside of your lip and lean further still into his hand. He can feel your eyelashes twitch and the warmth of your exhale as you hum. It's a conversation you've had a couple of times. It's always relaxed, always about choices, but it never fails to upset you.
"Siri," you utter.
"It'll be a soft reveal." Lily's words.
You deliberate audibly. "Siri, it's- You have all these people, all these girls, watching you and listening to you. When they see me, they-"
"What?"
"They won't believe it. They'll wonder what you're doing," — Sirius gawps at you as you close your eyes, effectively hiding your face from view — "with someone like me."
"Like you."
"Rockstars don't date fat girls."
It's not true, for starters. They do, but he knows why you'd say otherwise. It's much less common, more so to see someone in Sirius' circles with thin runway model type girls. Sirius doesn't argue with that truth, in the same way he won't insist you're skinny. You're not.
"They'll say you should be with someone who's actually pretty."
"You're so unfair to yourself," he says.
You deflate entirely.
"You're pretty. You are. You're more than that," he continues.
"You don't have to," you mumble.
"Yeah, I do." He sighs, taking your face into both hands. He tries to think of what to say and how to say it. You aren't a size six. He doesn't want you to be. You have a soft face and a softer tummy. That's how he likes you.
"Someone who's actually pretty?" he quotes softly, eyes dead set on yours and begging for you to raise your gaze. "Someone... With sweet, shy eyes? Someone who has... The most darling smile? Someone with..." His hands move slowly down to your shoulders. He holds you tightly in place and moves in to gently kiss the skin under your jaw. "A chubby tummy?"
You snort as Sirius kisses a sluggish path up toward your ear. He smiles in relief at the sound, and his hands creep down, down, down.
"With the most perfect pair of thighs I've ever seen?" he asks, worming between them to grab at the doughy insides.
You squeal and wrap your arms around his neck on impulse, effectively pulling his face toward your ear. He blows softly into your ear canal, and then he whispers, "Most perfect thighs I've ever been between."
"Shut up," you demand, giggling.
He leaves your thighs reluctantly to hug you as you're hugging him. When he squeezes you, he does it without worrying you'll shy away as you might've when you just met. You were so careful about being touched, worried he might feel the extra softness you carry.
Well, he does feel it. He loves it, and he loves you, and he really just wants to post your picture on twitter. Or the entire Internet, if you'll let him.
"You're lovely," he assures you, nosing at the skin behind your ear.
"Thank you, baby."
He smiles. "Let me show you how much I mean it?"
"Fuck off."
"Please? I got-" He pulls back to quickly check his watch, and grins at you when he sees the time. "Like, twenty minutes. I could show you how much I mean it twice."
"Only twice? Losing your touch."
He pinches at your sides, wondering if it's cruel to want to make you regret it. He's all bark and no bite, anyhow. Right now, he just wants to kiss you.
You see it on his face.
"Kiss me," you tell him. "We'll talk about your twitter thingy afterward. Okay?"
"That's my girl," he says, and leans in.

Sirius Oneshot - It's the Inside that Counts
Requested?: No
Prompt: None
Type of oneshot: Fluff?
Timing: Marauders’ Era (7th Year)
Reader's Relations: Newt’s granddaughter (don’t ask how this works, I just wanted it to be a thing in this oneshot, because he’s best boy and it kind of works)
Reader’s House: Gryffindor
Warnings: Bullying
Other notes: The reader is slightly chubby in this. Also in this, your parents died when you were young, so you live with Newt and Tina.
----------------------------------------
“Really? You honestly thought I’d want to date you when you look like that?” I tried to hold back the tears as my, now, ex-boyfriend kicked me to the curb metaphorically, continuing to say hurtful words, another girl hanging onto his arm, “You’re dumber than I thought. I was just using you because of your family.” And with that, he walked off, the girl following next to him, laughing. I sighed and stood up trying not to let the tears fall as I made my way back up to the common room. When I got up to my dorm, I sat down on my bed and sighed, taking my robe off so I was more comfortable, and laid down on my stomach, finally letting the tears fall.
That was when I started to hear small squeaks and I felt a small weight on my head. I let out a small giggle and lifted my hand, allowing the bowtruckle to step on before I brought my hand to my face, “Hello there. Did you stow away in my robes?” The small green creature looked down refusing to make eye contact and I giggled, “At least you’ve been found, Pickett.” I sighed, placed him down on my pillow and wiped my eyes, trying to stop the tears from flowing as I reached into my bag and pulled out a piece of parchment and a quill. I immediately started writing to my grandfather to let him know that Pickett was safe and hadn’t been stolen/harmed. Once I was done, I folded it up and let Pickett up on my shoulder before leaving the dorm, and heading up to the owlery.
“(Y/n)? Where are you going?”
“Owlery,” I replied in a monotone voice, refusing to look at Jen as I knew how observant she was and that she’d be able to tell I’d been crying from my face if she hadn’t by my tone of voice, “You’ve been crying. You can tell me what’s up, you know that, right?” I nodded, “Thank you, but it doesn’t matter. Now can I continue up to the owlery please?” She narrowed her eyes and let me go causing me to sigh in relief. I really didn’t want her to find out that William had broken up with me as I knew she’d tell the Marauders because of how protective they were of me. They didn’t need to be, it wasn’t like I was related to any of them, they just decided they were going to protect me for some reason. Once I’d sent the letter off to my grandparents, I walked outside and sat down by a tree by the Black Lake as it was just after dinner and curfew wasn’t for a few more hours and the outside air helped me to think better.
—------------------SIRIUS’ POV
“It was hilarious! You should have been there Prongs, his face was priceless.”
“Mate, shh. Is that.. Look it is! Where’s (Y/n) though?”
I looked up from my food to see William walking into the Great Hall, a random Slytherin hanging onto his arm looking as sneaky as ever.
“I swear to Godric if that git broke up with her, I’ll have is head.”
“Pads, calm down we know you like her.”
“Oh shut it, Prongs, you’d be the same if someone had done the same to your precious Lily” I retorted. Before James could reply, I felt a presence next to me and I looked up to see Bella.
“Have you seen (Y/n)?” I asked, curious as to where she was as she and Bella were normally inseparable, but Bella just shook her head, “Sorry, Sirius. I haven’t seen her since Transfiguration ended, but if I see her this evening, I’ll let her know you’re looking for her.”
“Thank you.”
“Wait a minute, I have an idea.”
“Huh? What do you mean, Moony?”
“Just, give me a minute.”
Without another word, he spun around in his seat to face the Hufflepuff table, directly where Jen was sitting, “Jen, have you seen (Y/n)?”
“Hm? Oh yeah, I saw her going up to the owlery before dinner. She looked like she’d been crying but refused to tell me why. If she’s not in her dorm or the common room, then I don’t know. Wait a minute, why didn’t you guys just use that map of yours? Don’t worry I won’t tell anyone about it.”
Moony thanked her and turned around as we all banged our heads on the table, “Why didn’t we think of the map? When we get back up we’re checking that map and finding where she is.”
------------------------YOUR POV
“Alright Pickett, you can sit on my head,” I muttered as the bowtruckle refused to go back in my pocket, “But you’ve got to hide when I go back inside, “Okay?”
Pickett just stuck his tongue out at me and blew a raspberry, “I thought you were taught not to do that. If you’re discovered, then it’ll mean bad news for me. Please, work with me-”
“(Y/n)?”
At the sound of my name, I quickly took Pickett off my head, hiding him behind my back and turned to the person, “Oh, Sirius, hey, what are you doing out here?”
“I wanted to talk, have you been crying?” he asked, reaching out and taking my hand in his, which I didn’t reject, surprising him as every other time he’d tried to make physical contact with me, I’d pushed him away. I sighed and nodded, releasing my grip on Pickett before placing him back on my head and wiping my eyes with my now free hand, “Y-yeah. Promise not to tell anyone else?” Sirius nodded and I took a deep breath, “William broke up with me. Told me he was just using me because of my family and that ‘no one would want to date someone who looked like me’. He then called me fat, along with a load of other hurtful stuff and then walked off,” I spoke, the tears coming back to my eyes again, this time I just let them fall, only stopping when I felt Sirius wiping them, “(Y/n), please don’t cry. I don’t like seeing you cry, it makes me cry when you’re upset and don’t believe anything that jerk says, you’re perfect the way you are.”
“He’s right though, Sirius. No one would want to date me, I am fat-” I was cut off when he placed a finger to my lips, “Do not say that about yourself in my presence. You are not fat, (Y/n). You are perfect, and I know one person who would want to date you.”
“W-who?” I asked, looking up at him. Instead of replying, he took my cheek in his hand and bent down to my level, kissing me, “Me.” I felt my face turn bright red and I blinked, bringing my hand up to my lips once he’d stepped back a little, “Y-you? You’d want to date me?”
“I-if you wanted to date me back, then yeah. I’ve been in love with you since 3rd year, (Y/n). You know how Prongs used to go on and on about Lily before she finally gave in and started dating him?” I nodded and Sirius continued, “Well, Moony told me I was the exact same with you. Apparently, I wouldn’t shut up about you and complain about that git of a boyfriend you had whenever I could. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a nose to go and break.”
I giggled and grabbed his hand before he got too far from me, “I-if you’re serious that you’d want to date me, honestly, I’d be lucky to be the one to have grabbed your attention. I like you too, Sirius.”
That stopped him in his tracks, and he turned back towards me, grabbing my upper arms and kissing me again, “I would be the lucky one, (Y/n). I love you so much.”
“I-I love you too, Sirius. Are you sure I’m not too chubby for you to date?”
He shook his head, “No. You are perfect the way you are, how many times do I have to say it? It’s what’s on the inside that counts, not what you look like. I love you for the way you act and your personality, not what you look like.” At that moment Pickett jumped off my head and onto Sirius’ hand, causing me to smile, “It looks like Pickett approves, please don’t tell any of our professors he’s here. Honestly, he stowed away on my robes, or well, in my clothes in general.”
“I won’t don’t worry, (Y/n). I’d never do anything to get you into trouble.”
“Thank you. I love you, Sirius.”

Round
You hate your chubby cheeks and Sirius is deeply offended. Sirius Black x gn!reader. modern!au
cw: negative self talk, no specific body type but reader has a round face, swearing
1.1k words
You huffed as you took in your appearance, wishing you could blame the mirror, maybe it was warped, maybe it made you look different. But then your hand mirror would also be inaccurate, as well as the bathroom mirror, and store windows, or every reflective surface. You wished you could believe that level of delusion, but ultimately you were given over to facts, so you had to face the truth that your face just looked like that.
You cruelly pinched at the flesh on your cheeks, under your eyes, and even around your jaw. You tried sucking in, then puffing out, but nothing made your face look defined in the way you desperately wanted. You just wished that your cheekbones had a little definition, but instead all you had was a round and puffy face. By now most people your age had dropped the baby weight in their cheeks, but you hadn’t, and no amount of contour or bronzer made them look sharper. You were still pinching at your face when your boyfriend walked in.
“What’re you doin’ in here, dolly?” You dropped your hands like a child caught in the cookie jar, feeling caught.
“Nothin’” You said in quiet response. All Sirius did was hum before moving to stand behind you and lean over your shoulder, both of you in front of the mirror. You looked up to meet his eyes, but you weren’t able to him looking like he wanted to eat you alive, dropping eye contact almost instantly. He chuckled evilly.
“Hm, so pretty.” You could hear the smile in his voice as he leaned over to kiss the same cheek you had scrutinized not seconds before and held in a wince. “Your cheek is all red, babydoll.”
“Maybe you just make me flushed.”
“No,” He laughed, “No baby, I know what that looks like, trust me. This is different. Besides, you look all sad.” He pouted when he said that, grabbing your face in one hand and kissing over more of your cheek before stepping away to sit on your bed. You swiveled in your chair to look at him. Well, at least be facing his direction, you kept your gaze strictly on your lap as you spoke.
“Siri?” You said hesitantly.
“Yes, dolly?” He had pulled out his phone and was scrolling.
“I- You know that surgery everyone’s getting? The face one?”
“I think you’re gonna have to be more specific than that, dollface.” He still didn’t look up from his phone.
“The cheek fat one. I-” You took a deep breath. “I think I want to get it.” That made him look up so fast you thought he might get whiplash.
“What?” He laughed. You would feel insulted, but you knew that Sirius only laughed like that when he was shocked or upset, his eyes were wide as he searched for any sign of you pranking or messing with him.
“It’s just a thought.” You instantly backpeddled “I just thought it might be worth thinking about.” You said sheepishly.
“Well it’s not.” He laughed again, clearly not finding it funny. “What put that shit in your head?” You felt defensive.
“I just think my face is too round. I look like a blowfish or something.” You forced a laugh.
“What? No?” He stood up from the bed and stepped over to you, crouching down to meet your eyes. Only after he saw your sad expression did he soften.
“I just-” You debated the right words. “I just think I would look better if my cheeks were more hollow. There’s just so much-” You pinched at the flesh of your cheeks. “There’s so much fat on them, I look like Charlie Brown.”
“Okay firstly, I don’t know who that is, but if they look like you I’m guessing they’re adorable.” You rolled your eyes. “Secondly, I love your face. It's my favorite. Stop being so mean to it.”
“But you don’t know what it’s like." You whined. "Your face is perfect, all of you is.” And you meant it. Sirius always looked like he could be carved from marble. He had a perfectly structured face, gorgeous eyes framed by too-long-to-be-fair lashes, and inky black hair. He looked like a model on a bad day. On a good day you could barely bring yourself too look at him.
“Compliment taken.” He smirked, displaying his shiny and sharp canines. “But you aren’t giving yourself enough credit, gorgeous.” He looked so distraught, it didn’t suit him at all. He batted your cruel hands away from your cheeks to grab your face instead. “Just because your face is round doesn’t mean you are any less beautiful.” He said, sincerely. You tried to look down but his grip didn’t let you. “If I’m being honest actually, your cheeks are one of my favorite parts of you.”
You scoffed at him. “You can’t be for real.”
“I am, baby!” He argued. He started to pinch your cheeks, though much kinder than you were. “They’re so cute.” He pouted. “I know you don’t like them, and I don’t wanna draw attention to it if it’s gonna bother you,” He stood up, tilting your face up to look in his eyes, swimming with sympathy, love, and a hint of playfulness. “But, I think they’re fucking precious. I just wanna grab your little face every time I see you. You’re like a little cherub.” You laughed. It’s not the look you were going for, but the way he described it didn’t seem so bad, especially not when there was affection dripping from every word he spoke.
“You’re really sweet.” Was all you could say, standing up to hug him. He accepted you greedily, squeezing you close to him.
“I wish you saw how gorgeous you are, baby.” He nuzzled into your neck. You thought you could cry.
“It’s okay, I know you love me, it’s enough.” You pulled away from his neck to look at him.
“Yeah, at least for now.” He smiled, leaning down to press his lips to yours. You kissed him back, hoping he could feel your gratitude. “Anyway,” He said when he pulled away. “There’s a practical advantage I really like.” He was all at once his usual wolfish self, giving you no time to question his meaning before speaking again. “More face for me to love.” He spun you both around, throwing you onto the bed and pinning you down before squishing your cheeks in his hands and sponging rapid-fire kisses all over your face.
You let out an awful squeal of surprise. “Siri!” You giggled, barely able to speak between attacks. He looked at you hungrily before kissing you greedily, pulling a high-pitched whine from your throat.
“I think you like it too, dollface.”

Pairing: Regulus Black x Reader, Potter!Reader
Warnings: angst!
Word Count: 6.2K+
A/N: Alright listen I am a Lily Evans stan through and through but she does not come across the greatest in this fic
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Stop biting your nails,” Regulus nudged you lightly.
“Sorry,” you said sheepishly, “I just hope the first term went well for Celeste. I’ve missed her so much.” You rested your head on Regulus’s shoulder.
“Celeste sent us about a thousand owls with updates. She’s fine! Plus she’s had Milo with her.” Regulus made a good point. Your daughter, Celeste, had started her first year at Hogwarts at the same time as her cousin Milo.
“Where are Sirius and Remus anyway?” You asked, glancing at your watch, “The train is going to be in any minute now.”
As if on cue, you saw Sirius and Remus running through King’s Cross. Remus was carrying an empty carseat and Sirius was balancing a baby in his arms. They made their way over to your spot on the platform and were breathing heavily.
“Someone,” Sirius panted, “take the baby so I can have a moment to collapse.”
“Give me my delicious little nephew,” you grinned, taking the baby from Sirius and giving his chubby cheek a little kiss, “how are you Teddy?”
Teddy gurgled in response and wrapped a chubby hand around a strand of your hair.
“Why exactly are you two so late?” Regulus quirked an eyebrow at his brother.
“You know how it is, baby stuff.” Remus explained, setting the carseat on the ground and taking Teddy back from you.
“Sirius take too long looking at himself in the mirror?” Regulus chuckled.
“You laugh but it’s under the shroud of wicked jealousy,” Sirius deadpanned.
“Can you believe that our kids are first years! It feels like we graduated just yesterday,” you reminisced, threading your arm through Sirius’ and resting your head on his shoulder.
“They’ll be here any minute now!” Sirius grinned, looking at the wave of students getting off the train.
“Sirius! It’s your turn, Teddy needs to be changed.” Remus was now holding Teddy at arms length, his nose wrinkled.
“Oh no,” Sirius peaked at Teddy’s diaper, “Moony this is a two man job. You guys mind waiting for Milo while we fix this?”
“Go for it,” you waved the boys off. You and Regulus were making idle chit chat until a body slammed into you. You looked down and saw the nicely styled brown and black curls and knew it could only have been your nephew.
“Hi Milo,” you said, pressing a kiss to his head.
“Hey Auntie! Have you seen my dads?” He asked, pulling away and hugging Regulus.
“They’re in the bathroom changing Teddy. Have you seen my daughter?” You responded.
“She’s coming. Her and Harry were saying goodbye to Ron and Hermione at the front of the platform.” Milo shrugged. Your blood ran cold.
“Harry?” You asked. Before Milo could respond you saw Celeste skipping towards you.
“Mum! Dad!” Celeste gave you and Regulus a giant hug.
“Celeste! I want to hear all about your term,” you said with a giant grin.
“Sure Mum! I want you to meet one of the greatest friends I made. He’s actually one of Milo’s childhood friends.” Celeste stepped back and revealed Harry standing behind her. Even if you hadn’t recognized the name you would’ve know that Harry was James’s son. Harry was the spitting image of James, save for his eyes. His eyes were the same color as Lily’s.
“Hi! I’m Harry Potter, it’s nice to meet you Mrs. Black, Mr. Black.” Harry extended his hand to you and Regulus. Regulus had the same gobsmacked expression that you did and he swallowed harshly before saying,
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Harry. I understand that you and Celeste have become fast friends.”
“Yes! I’ve known Milo my entire life so he introduced Celeste and I. Milo’s fathers are actually my father’s two closest friends. You might know him, James Potter?” Harry asked.
“Uh, yes. We were in school at the same time as your father.” Regulus said, diplomatically.
“Really?” Harry asked. Before you could continue any further Sirius and Remus returned.
“There’s my godson!” Sirius laughed, wrapping Harry in a tight hug.
“He hugs Harry before he hugs his own son.” Milo rolled his eyes as he hugged Remus and gave his baby brother a kiss on the forehead.
“There’s my boy.” Sirius lifted Milo of the ground in a grandiose show of affection.
“Where are your parents, Harry?” Remus asked.
“Around here somewhere I’m sure.” Harry scanned through the throng of people. He disappeared off and you felt like you could breathe again.
“Alright, love, do you have all your things?” You asked Celeste, running a hand over your daughter’s head, “Regulus grab her trunk.”
“Did you make the Christmas fudge mum?” Celeste asked.
“Three trays of it.” You grinned, pinching Celeste’s cheek.
“Oh Auntie your fudge is the greatest! Dad can we go over to Celeste’s and have some?” Milo asked Remus.
“Why not? You know I have a soft spot for chocolate.” Remus laughed as he tried to juggle both the car seat and Milo’s trunk.
“Give me the baby and give the car seat to Sirius.” You said. Remus went to hand you Teddy but tutted, “Other side, Remus. My shoulder.” You swapped sides and then took Teddy from Remus’ arms and balanced him on your hip.
You were making your way out of the train station when Harry was running back towards you all, a giant smile on his face.
“Alright Harry?” Celeste asked.
“Yeah, yeah. I wanted to introduce our parents. Mr. And Mrs. Black these are my parents James and Lily Potter.” Harry stepped back to reveal his parents. You felt like the wind had been knocked out of you.
“James.” You said, cooly.
“It’s been a while.” James’s tone was as icy as yours.
“Well we should get going,” Lily said diplomatically.
“Yes! Yes. Good to see you. Have a happy Christmas!” Regulus pushed Celeste away before the conversation could progress any further.
Luckily for you all, Celeste forgot all about encounter by the time she got home, had a tin of fudge, and played with her little brother Atlas who had been in private lessons when you all were at the train station. Atlas and Celeste were sleeping peacefully, now, and you were thinking about James as you got in bed next to Regulus.
“Love?” Regulus shook you from your thoughts.
“Yes darling?”
“I was saying that Narcissa called and wants to have tea tomorrow and get all the children together.” Regulus said.
“Oh, sure Reg.” You nodded.
“Thinking about James?”
“You know me so well,” you laughed softly, “it just caught me off-guard…seeing him again.”
“I know. Are you alright?”
“It’s weird, right? Harry and Celeste being friends.” You asked, rubbing your shoulder.
“Yeah, a good weird though. I think we should consider the possibility of telling them that they are related. They deserve to know and it’ll only be worse if they find it out on their own.” Regulus ran his thumb over your knuckles.
“I know you’re right.” You went to bed that night with your thoughts spinning impossibly fast in your brain.
“Oh my God! How can a child so small poop so much?” Remus said in disgust. His entire chest was coated in what had previously been Teddy’s breakfast. Sirius had been walking over to check on Remus, but immediately turned and crept back down the hallway as quietly as he could. “Nice try, Pads! Get back here right now.”
“How did you know I was in the hall?” Sirius asked with a groan, taking over the diaper change while Remus removed his shirt and scourgified it.
“Werewolf hearing, obviously.” Remus rolled his eyes.
“Dads! When are we going to Celeste’s?” Milo asked, peeking his head into the room.
“We’re going to meet Celeste and Atlas at Aunt Narcissa’s house.” Remus responded.
“Oh fuck do we have to go to Narcissa’s? It’s so creepy there.” Sirius complained.
“Really? You aren’t even going to pretend to act like a parent in front of our kid?” Remus rolled his eyes.
“Aunt Narcissa isn’t so bad,” Milo shrugged, “Draco’s kind of annoying though.”
“Of course he is. He’s the spawn of a Black and a Malfoy.” Sirius rolled his eyes at the thought.
“Sirius!” Remus was unfortunately not surprised at his husband’s antics.
“I have a different question.” Milo shook his head, “so you know how Celeste and Atlas are mine and Teddy’s cousins because Dad and Uncle Regulus are brothers?”
“Yeah?” Sirius and Remus weren’t exactly sure where things were going.
“And you know how you two were best friends with Uncle James and Aunt Lily in school?”
“Yeah…” Now Sirius and Remus had an idea where things were going and they didn’t exactly love it.
“Why was I never allowed to have Harry and Celeste over at the same time? And why were things so awkward between everyone at the train station when Celeste’s and Harry’s parents met?”
“Don’t know what you’re talking about.” Remus said quickly.
“Yep, Milo, you’re crazy.” Sirius nodded.
“Wait a minute,” Milo’s brain was moving quickly now, “isn’t Auntie’s maiden name Potter? But she doesn’t have a brother…is Uncle James her cousin? Are they fighting? Have they been fighting since before any of us were born? But Auntie always talks about how important family is…did Uncle James do something to break their bond? They must’ve been close since they would have been just a year apart at Hogwarts. And you two are still very close with her and Uncle Reg…in fact Dad I remember you said that Auntie was the person that reunited you with Uncle Reg. So it had to be something really specific between Auntie and Uncle James. Aunt Lily’s face was almost as red as her hair and Uncle Regulus was glaring at Uncle James when we were at the train station so I bet it was something about Auntie marrying Uncle Regulus and Uncle James marrying Aunt Lily. But Uncle James and Aunt Lily got married first so it was probably a fight between Auntie and Uncle James about Aunt Lily!” Milo looked very pleased with himself.
“You’re way off, Milo, it wasn’t like that at all.” Remus said weakly.
“How did you do that?” Sirius was looking at his son now like he was dripping in radioactive waste.
“I knew it!”
“Okay, Milo, listen you can’t tell Celeste or Harry. This is not our information to share.” Remus was very serious.
“Of course, Dad. The secret is safe with me!” Milo beamed.
“Oh my God Ron! How has it taken you this long to cast a communication spell? Fred and George showed it to us like four times before we left for holiday!” Celeste whispered. She was underneath her covers as it was past one in the morning but Milo had sent everyone an owl saying he had an urgent message and needed to talk face to face.
“It was hard, Cel!” Ron tried to defend himself but Harry was laughing too hard to be heard for anyone else on the call to hear him.
“Okay, okay. Milo what’s your news?” Hermione asked, shaking her head.
“I just discovered something big! Something about Celeste and Harry.” Milo said excitedly.
“Does it have something to do with how weird our parents were at the train station?” Harry asked.
“Yes, indeed. Celeste’s mum and Harry’s dad are cousins!” Milo paused to allow the revelation to skin in.
“No way! Why wouldn’t they tell us?” Celeste gasped.
“Apparently they had a really bad falling out and I think it’s because Celeste’s mum and Harry’s mum hate each other!”
“Why would they hate each other?” Hermione asked.
“No idea. But you two are going to have to find out.” Milo grinned.
“So mum,” Celeste asked after you all returned from the Malfoys, “I have a question for you.”
“Sure, love. Did you want any more fudge?” You asked, taking out a tray and cutting off a few pieces.
“Thanks mum!” Celeste took the plate from you.
“Hey Atlas! Do you want any fudge?”
“Yes yes yes!” Your eight year old came running into the kitchen. Atlas looked just like Regulus, dark curls and bright green eyes. Celeste looked more like a potter…more like James, in fact: tanned skin, warm brown eyes, easy smile. Celeste and Harry had looked like twins at the train station. It filled you with an uncomfortable heartache.
“Giving the kids more sugar?” Regulus quipped, helping push Atlas’s chair closer to the table.
“It’s Christmas.” You smiled, “there’s a fresh batch of egg nog in the fridge from this morning if you’d like to join me in a glass.”
“Read my mind, Mrs. Black.” Regulus poured you and him two glasses and you sat at the able with your kids.
“So Celeste, you said you had a question for me?” You asked, leaning back so you were resting against Regulus’s shoulder.
“Are you and Harry’s dad cousins?” Celeste asked. Your back went rigid as Regulus sputtered and choked on his eggnog.
“Why…where did you hear that?” You asked.
“Milo.”
“I’m going to kill Sirius.” Regulus shook his head.
“The truth is, yes, James and I are cousins.”
“Did you have a falling out because you hate Harry’s mum?”
“Oh my god,” Regulus rubbed his temples.
“Who’s Harry?” Atlas asked.
“I do not hate Harry’s mum.” You sighed, “James and I are just not as close as we used to be.”
“You know what,” Regulus stood, “we’re going to Sirius and Remus’s. We can let them explain everything since they felt so strongly about sharing it in the first place.”
“Good idea.” You hoisted Atlas onto your hip, even though he was far too big for it now and apparated as Regulus grabbed firmly onto Celeste’s wrist to apparate them both. You were standing in Sirius and Remus’s living room and you set Atlas down as Sirius entered the room with a blanket and a bowl of popcorn.
“Oh fuck,” Sirius tried to turn on his heel but you grabbed him by the back of the shirt.
“You’ve got a big mouth, Black.” You shoved Sirius down on the couch.
“Moony! Milo! Can you come in here please?” Sirius called as Regulus and Celeste apparated into the room.
“What’s up, Pads?” Remus entered the room, Milo right behind him.
“Hey Auntie,” Milo said shyly, sitting between his fathers on the couch.
“Milo, when we speak to you do you hear words or is it just the Charlie Brown whomp sound?” Remus said with a sigh.
“Sorry,” Milo shrugged.
“We’ll deal with you later. Take your cousins up to your room while your aunt tears me a new asshole.” Sirius sent Milo, Atlas, and Celeste out and then cast a silencing spell over the living room for good measure.
“What the hell is wrong with you!” You said, slapping Sirius on the chest and arms after each word for emphasis.
“Milo guessed it! It was really only a manner of time considering your behavior at Kings Cross.” Remus said with a sigh.
“You’re right.” You flopped on the couch next to Remus and put your head in your hands. Regulus sat down next to you and rubbed your back.
“Do you think it might be time for you and James to reconcile? It’s been ten years since you two last spoke.” Remus asked.
“I don’t know. I’ve been carrying this resentment so long I might feel lonely without it.” You said with a weak chuckle. There was a loud crack in the air and James, Lily, and Harry were standing in the living room.
“Sirius!” James roared, “I’m going to kill you!”
“Milo has another parent! Why do target me?” Sirius threw his hands in the air.
“Kids are upstairs, Harry. Why don’t you join them while we talk?” Remus sent Harry upstairs.
“I think we should have a conversation about how we’d like to proceed. Celeste and Harry are closer than ever and I don’t think any of us have been very fair.” Regulus said with a deep sigh.
“James!” You said in a sing-song voice as you set your book down and settled down on the blanket that James had spread in front of the lake. James, Sirius, and Remus had been taking advantage of the nice day and were studying outside by the Black Lake.
“What is it?” James was pretending to be exasperated but he couldn’t hide his smile. He always had a soft spot for his baby cousin.
“I need your potions notes. We’re brewing liquid luck and Slughorn assigned me a terrible partner.” You said with a sigh.
“Who’d he assign you?” Sirius asked.
“Your little brother,” you said with an eyeroll.
“Come on,” Remus exhaled lazily, handing you a joint that he’d lit a few moments before, “as far as Slytherins go, Regulus is pretty good at potions.”
“Yeah, yeah he’s a potions wiz. I don’t need him mansplaining potions to me so I need to read up on liquid luck and show his ass up.” You said before taking a long drag of the joint, “This is really good, Remus.”
“Thanks, I did get an O in herbology.” Remus laughed.
“Here,” James was forever organized and was able to locate his notes from last year rather quickly, “use them wisely.”
“Hey Prongs did you tell the young Miss Potter your news?” Sirius asked, taking the joint from you.
“No! What’s your news, Jamie?” You poked James in the ribs playfully.
“Now that Lily and I have been dating for a few months now, I’d like for you two to officially meet.” James said with a grin. Your stomach turned unpleasantly. You had only ever seen Lily in passing, considering you were in Slytherin and a year younger than the Marauders. You hadn’t liked how James had pined after Lily considering she did not make it a secret how she despised him. Sure, James was a bit immature sometimes but he had the biggest heart of anyone you knew. You swallowed all that down and grinned,
“Can’t wait. When are we going to meet?”
“Why don’t you come to the Gryffindor common room tomorrow night?”
“Sounds like a plan.” You grinned. You had to leave the warm sun and your friends an hour later to meet with Regulus to start the potions work. You didn’t care for Regulus. Being a close friend of Sirius meant that Regulus was naturally more haughty towards you and you thought he could be unnecessarily cruel whenever he was around Barty Crouch Jr. To you had been less than pleased when Slughorn had paired you together would be an understatement.
You found him sitting at a table in the corner of the library, bent over a book.
“Hello Regulus,” you said, sitting down next to him.
“Hi. I thought we could start with raiding the greenhouses to find some horseradish. The first step of brewing Felix Felicis is to mix ashwinder eggs and horseradish.” Regulus said.
“I think it’d be better actually to substitute wasabi for horseradish. Apparently it makes the potion more potent.” You said, setting James’ notes out in front of you.
“These notes are brilliant,” Regulus snatched up the page and studied it.
“Thanks, they’re my cousin’s.” You shrugged. You worked for a while with Regulus before walking together back to the Slytherin dorms.
“You know…it’s funny.” Regulus said with a small shake of his curls.
“What is?”
“You and I both have close family in Gryffindor. The Gryffindor/Slytherin mix isn’t super common.” Regulus said.
“Yeah I guess you’re right.”
“We’re not so different are we?”
“I’m nothing like you, Regulus. I’m not cruel.” You crossed your arms. You were at your door now and weren’t entirely sure why Regulus had walked you all the way up to the girls dorms.
“The Felix Felicis takes six months to brew. I bet you’ll be under me by then.” Regulus said with a confident laugh.
“In your dreams, Black.” You said with an eyeroll. You entered your room and huffed but had to admit it was a bit hard to hide your smile.
You were nervous as you ascended the steps up to the Gryffindor common room. You didn’t know what it was exactly but you weren’t looking forward to meeting Lily. You shook the thoughts from your brain as Sirius let you into the common room.
“Remus!” You said with a grin, jumping into Remus’s lap and accepting the joint from him. Lily was perched on James’ lap and she was grinding down on him as they made out like their lives depended on it.
“Break it up, love birds, you have company.” Sirius said, slapping James upside the head on his way back to the couches.
“Sorry,” James said, sheepishly, setting Lily down next to him. James introduced you two.
“Lily, it’s great to finally meet you. The guys talk about you all the time.” You said with a smile.
“Ditto! James always says you’re one of the most important people in his life.” Lily grinned.
“Yeah. James and I are both only children so we really felt more like siblings than cousins.”
“Are you the first Potter in Slytherin?” Lily asked. It was an innocent enough question, Lily could not have known that it had been a sore subject in your family. You were the first Potter in Slytherin. No Potter had been in a house that was not in Gryffindor for over one thousand years. It had been a shock to your family.
“Uh, yes I am.” You tried to hide your discomfort over the question.
“Oh. Good for you.”
“And you’re a muggle born, right?”
“Yes.” Lily’s eyes flashed dangerously.
“Good for you.” You responded. The rest of the night passed rather quickly and then James walked you back to the Slytherin dorms.
“So?” He asked excitedly.
“So what?”
“So what did you think of Lily? She’s great, isn’t she?” James was beaming.
“She’s something.” You pursed your lips.
“What do you mean?”
“I hate her.” You said with a head shake. James was shocked. He tried to get more out of you, but you told him you were tired and went to bed. James felt like his brain was in shambles as he made his way back to the Gryffindor common room. Only Lily was left, reading a book by the fire.
“Hey love,” James sat down next to her and pressed a kiss to her forehead.
“Hi James. Have a good walk?” She asked.
“Yeah, yeah. You liked my cousin, right?”
“Your cousin?” Lily said nervously, “Yeah! She’s quite spirited.”
“Oh my god you hate her, don’t you?” James’s heart felt like it had dropped into his ass.
“I do!” Lily groaned, “But honestly I barely know her. We’ll get together more and more and hopefully we’ll become good friends. It’s clear to me that we both care about you a lot and want the best for you.” Lily said. James could only shrug.
As Lily and James became closer and closer, you started spending less and less time in the Gryffindor common room. You also became closer to Regulus as you continued working on your potions project together. You were finally able to meet Regulus for your final potion check before you submit it as a final to Slughorn. As you made your way down you ran into James.
“Hey! I feel like I haven’t seen you in forever. I miss you.” James said, slinging an arm over your shoulders.
“I know! It’s just been so busy with classes and finals but I’m about to submit my potions final so that’ll be a huge weight off my shoulders.” You said with a grin.
“We’re going to the Three Broomsticks tonight, why don’t you meet us there? Celebrate the end of potions for the year” James said, “We’ll get properly pissed.”
“That sounds great. Who all is going?” You asked.
“The whole gang! Remus, Sirius, Mary, Marlene, Lily.”
“Lily?” You faltered.
“I know you aren’t her biggest fan but I promise it’ll be fun.” James begged.
“Alright! I’ll see you later then. Have a butterbeer waiting for me.” You called as James reascended the steps. He sent you thumbs up before disappearing around the corner. You walked into the potions classroom and saw Slughorn was peering over your cauldron as Regulus explained away.
“Ah Ms. Potter, nice of you to join us. I was just about to review your potion. I believe you and Mr. Black were assigned Felix Felicis.”
“Yes sir, we were.” You nodded.
“As I was saying,” Regulus said with a quick nod in your direction, “we decided to add wasabi instead of horseradish to the potion in order to increase its potency.
“Very smart.” Slughorn nodded. He mulled over the potion for a full two minutes before nodding. “Outstanding work you two. I knew great things would come from the two of you. Your reward is that you are able to keep the potion. I’m sure you both understand, however, that use of the potion during a Quidditch match is strictly illegal.”
“We understand, professor.” Regulus nodded. Professor Slughorn stalked out of the room. You and Regulus hugged tightly.
“We did it! Do you want the potion? I don’t have any use for it.” You said with a shrug.
“Yeah.” Regulus nodded. He uncorked the vial and swallowed it down.
“What are you doing?” You raised your eyebrow and looked at him.
“I needed it for what I’m about to do.” Regulus said. Before you could ask him what he was talking about, Regulus grabbed you by the waist and kissed you hard. You were surprised at first but then you wrapped your arms around his neck and kissed him back.
“Oh wow.” You said when you broke apart.
“Will you go out with me?” Regulus asked, brushing his curls out of his face.
“Yeah. Do you want to go to the Three Broomsticks with me?” You asked.
“Yeah I do.” Regulus grinned.
The two of you walked hand in hand to Hogsmeade. It seemed that the Gryffindors had started without you and the group was very, very drunk. Lily was perched in James’s lap again and you tried not to roll your eyes.
“What are you two doing here?” Sirius asked, slurring his words a bit, “I mean…what are you two doing here together?”
“We’re friends, Sirius.” You rolled your eyes. You and Regulus were able to catch up to the rest of the crowd quickly.
“More than that.” Regulus laughed and slung his arm over your shoulders.
“Really?” James narrowed his eyes.
“Why not?” You snuggled yourself deeper into Regulus’s arms.
“He’s a Slytherin. He’s dangerous.” James snapped at you.
“I’m a Slytherin.” You bit the inside of your cheek harshly.
“So you finally made your way over to dark wizards? Guess you really are a Slytherin.” Lily giggled.
“And you’ve proven that you can live up to the stereotype of annoying muggleborns.” You shot back.
“Stop it.” James frowned but it was too late. The storm between you and Lily had been brewing for six months and there was no stopping it now.
“You know what James, I can’t do this anymore. It’s her or me.” Lily crossed her arms over her chest.
“Oh come on! Like James is going to pick some girl he’s been dating for less than a year over his cousin.” You rolled your eyes.
“Don’t do this. You both are being unfair.” James said.
“James didn’t tell you? After we graduate, we’re moving in together.” Lily spat at you.
“Make your choice James.” You said coldly.
“No.” James shook his head.
“Fine,” you said, standing and grabbing Regulus’s hand, “I’ll make it for you. Goodbye.” And you stormed off.
There was quite a bit of electricity in the air during the Quidditch final. It was already charged, being a competition between Gryffindor and Slytherin. You and Regulus were both playing as chaser and seeker respectively. This was an important match for you, you were being scouted by four different professional Quidditch teams and the representatives were all in the stands. You still had a year of Hogwarts left after this one but the teams were ready to make an offer that would work around your school schedule.
You couldn’t think about that right now, though. You wanted to stomp Gryffindor into the dirt. Your blood was pulsating in your ears as Madame Hooch blew the whistle to signify the start of the match.
The match was vicious, with you and James diving at each other and playing dirtier than you ever had to before. You were flying next to James and you shoulder checked him rougher than you should’ve. James nearly fell off his broom but he was able to swing all the way around and restabilize.
“That was a cheap shot!” James spat at you.
“Guess I’m just a lousy Slytherin.” You spat back. “At least I’m not wrapped around the finger of a witch with a stick up her ass.”
That was too far, you knew it, but you were too upset to care. James yanked at the back of your broom just as a bludger rammed itself into your chest. You fell hard and Madame Hooch had been too enraptured in a squabble between the Sirius and the Slytherin beaters to notice what was happening until it was too late. You hit the ground hard and heard a sickening crunch sound as your arm was wrenched awkwardly behind your back. You groaned as Madame Hooch started running towards you and blowing her whistle wildly. Before she reached you, though, your broom did and it embedded itself in your shoulder. You were screaming so loud your throat was raw. You tried to grab at your broom with your other hand but realized that the broom had impaled the fleshy part of your shoulder and was anchoring you to the ground.
“Oh my God,” Madame Hooch gasped as she made her way towards you. Madame Pomfrey was hot on her heels and she knelt down next to you. Regulus made his way down to you next. He dropped to his knees next to you and grabbed at your hand, giving it a comforting squeeze. Then Sirius landed. He took one look at you and promptly vomited into the grass. James was there next, his face paler than it had ever been.
“Alright love, I’m going to move you over to the hospital wing where I’ll give you a sedative and assess the damage.” Madame Pomfrey said. You wished that Madame Pomfrey had given you the sedative before she moved you. You had never and would never again experience such pain. Not when you gave birth, not when you had been a victim of cruciatus curse, not ever. Madame Pomfrey had to move you again to St. Mungos and a team of healers were put together to remove your broom from your shoulder and patch you up.
When you were finally stable again, the doctor who had been presiding over your case made his way to your bedside. Your parents and Regulus had been by your side for the entire four day period.
“It will take time for your shoulder to heal. It faced an unbelievable trauma and even after much physical therapy, rigorous potion taking, and rehabilitation your shoulder will never reach its full, working capacity.”
“So I’ll never play Quidditch again.” You said bitterly.
“Oh darling let’s just be happy that you’re okay.” Your mother tried but you shook your head.
“I’m so sorry, Ms. Potter, but no. Playing professionally will not be possible.” The doctor bowed his head.
You refused James’s visits for the next two weeks until you were able to be discharged from the hospital. You were home, laying on your bed and staring at the ceiling. You wanted to rip down your Quidditch posters but you couldn’t extend your arm that far up yet. You were forced to just glare up at them.
“Hey, can I come in?” James asked, knocking on your open door. You looked at him and turned back to stare at the ceiling. “You have no idea how sorry I am. I have never felt more terrible in my entire life. I thought you were going to die,” James had tears in his eyes, “and it would have been all my fault. All over something so stupid. But I’m glad that you’re alive. But I am so so sorry that I cost you your career. If I could go back and erase it, I would.”
“I don’t ever want to see you again.” You said softly and stared at the ceiling until James left the room.
You and James did not speak for four years. He got married and you got married and it was bizarre. All of a sudden you were no longer speaking to your best friend. Good things came out of the situation, though. You and Regulus got married and had a baby. Regulus and Sirius repaired their relationship and Sirius and Remus married and had a baby as well. You and Reg had Sirius and Remus over often, watching the newly one year olds play together.
“I still can’t believe that you named her Celeste.” Sirius shook his head.
“Why? You don’t like the name?” You asked with a soft laugh.
“I just can’t believe you stuck with the celestial theme.” Sirius rolled his eyes. Regulus laughed too.
“It wasn’t even my idea,” Regulus laughed, “my darling bride thought of it. She wanted Celeste for a girl and Atlas for a boy.”
“You really are a Slytherin.” Sirius laughed and gave you a kiss on the cheek before scooping Milo up.
“We should get home and give Milo a bath before bed. I don’t know why people think that having babies is hard. Milo’s a dream.” Sirius shrugged. He apparated out. Remus was about to follow when he turned to you.
“What is it Remus?” Regulus asked.
“I know you don’t want to hear it, but James and Lily are in a rough place. James might try to reach back out to you.” Remus said.
“I’m not interested in that.” You said, looking down at your lap.
“I know. Just thought I would give you a heads up.” Remus said with a smile before apparating out.
“Celeste still has so much energy. Should we let her play for a little longer before bed?” Regulus asked, settling into the couch.
“Yeah, why not.” You shrugged. You and Regulus chatted idly for a bit longer before you heard a knock at the door.
“Think that’s Sirius forgetting something?” Regulus asked. You stood up and headed for the door,
“Doubt it. When has Sirius ever knocked?” You laughed. You opened the door and your jaw dropped in shock when you saw James at your doorstep, Harry on his hip.
“Hey.” James said softly.
“James. What are you doing here?” You asked.
“Who is it?” Regulus called from the couch.
“Uh, it’s James.” You responded.
“I’m sorry,” Regulus walked up over to where you were, “I thought you said James but I must have mis-” Regulus went silent.
“What are you doing here?” You asked.
“I, uh, I wanted to see you. I wanted to talk about things.” James said, bouncing Harry on his hip a few times.
“Why don’t you come in,” Regulus stepped back to let James in. He lead James into the sitting room where Celeste was sitting on the ground and playing with her toys.
“Thanks, Regulus.” James said as he entered.
“Why don’t you let Harry play with Celeste?” Regulus offered. James set Harry down next to Celeste. “I’ll go make some tea.” Regulus left you and James sitting on the couch in awkward silence.
“Harry looks like you.” You said softly.
“Yeah, yeah he does. Celeste looks like you.”
“Seems like they were fast friends.” You said. Harry and Celeste were curled up, yawning and grabbing at each other’s feet.
“That’s good. It’s good for cousins to be close.” James said.
“I heard things between you and Lily are rough right now.”
“It’s just a rough patch. But I’m sorry about the way things happened. I want Harry to have his cousin in his life. I want my cousin in my life.” James was nervous, you could tell.
“I don’t know if it’s fair to set up Celeste for that kind of heartbreak. Wouldn’t want the kids to get close only to have Harry abandon Celeste for some girl and then nearly kill her.”
“That’s not fair,” Regulus said, setting down the tray with the tea.
“I don’t have to be fair. James cost me everything.” You said, your jaw set.
“I want to start over. Please. I love you, I miss you.” James begged.
“Then why did you choose Lily?” Emotion was cracking through your cold exterior.
“I didn’t!” “You did! I’m your family! You never should’ve chosen her over me.” You said, rising from your seat.
“You never should’ve made me choose!” James screamed back.
“Maybe we should revisit this later when everyone has had a chance to calm down.” Regulus stood between you and James now.
“No. I think you’ve made it very clear. Sorry I tried.” James scooped up Harry and left, slamming the door shut behind him.
“No, we haven’t been fair.” You said, “But I’d like an apology.”
“I’m sorry! I’m so so sorry for everything I did to you.” James gushed, grabbing your hand.
“Not from you,” you shook your head, “from Lily.”

the slut club
Tumblr media
and I wake with your memory over me that's a real fucking legacy to leave,
you're sure you can still hear his ringing distinctive laughter through the photograph. the photograph you hold has faded away its brightest hue, along with the smile of james potter and his heartbeat. you cradle his almost doppelgänger on your knee if it wasn't for his bright emerald eyes. he sucks on his thumb, while brandishing a twig in thin air. (after you had successfully convinced him it was a wand)
'honey, look, it's your papa,' you say, flashing his father's picture on his eyeline. you wonder if he recalls his features as his grubby fingers grab at the photograph. you wonder if you'd had to introduce his father to him if he weren't dead.
the doorknob clicks. the footsteps knocking on the floor are similar but it still sends a wave of coldness through your veins. your jaw tightens.
'i'm so sorry i'm late,' he says running his fingers through his hair. he picks up harry, and places a chaste kiss on his chubby cheek. you get up from the sofa.
'it's okay sirius, he's my godson too,' you say, loosening your tightened jaw. you crack your knuckles.
'buddy where'd you get this...twig?' you hear sirius ask harry. he flashes him a half toothed grin, shoving the twig in his ear.
'hey, hey no,' sirius scrunches his face in pain. you suppress a smile, throwing your coat over your shoulders.
'i convinced him it's a wand. he saw me using it to turn down the blinds and yeah, you know he's just like his father, stubborn,'
'you seen moony?' you ask. remus was the only person you could confide in at that moment. somethings seemed to be overwhelming. swallowing it up would seem like a great idea, but it wasn't. not in the long run. the run hadn't even started and you felt like your joints were rusted, lungs exhausted and heart beating too slowly. perhaps it was the after effects of a lorn tragedy. your breathing palpitated with the way sirius' gray eyes ran over your body.
'he's sulking as usual,' he replied, his mood suddenly in the halt of a shift.
'home?' you ask, your feet jittery.
'hm,'
you're not sure whether it's a tone of disapproval or jealousy. the latter seems dimensionally impossible, so you disapparate, to lupin's house.
*******
your eyes are torn of sleep, the half moon shining stark against the dark sky. the stillness of the night enveloped you, an uncomfortable warmth surrounding you. the night seemed stuffy, a prison of your thoughts. it was as if a weight of restlessness settled upon your bones, your mind and body battling to fall into a slumber. the darkness thundered a dance of troubled thoughts, which instead of providing solace was a battle against the dreams that awaited you on the other spectrum of sleep.
it's thud against your door. is it the wind? you search for your wand, and slowly whisper,
'lumos,'
the tip of your light enlightens into a beautiful solemn blue. you curl your toes, walking down the hallway. your voice is sore, dry and cracked when you speak, pressing your ear against the wood of the door.
'wh-who is it?'
'it's me, sirius.'
your hand wraps itself around the doorknob as your turn it, around, unlocking the door. it's not the first time he showed up at your house in the middle of the night. last time, when he came in he was drunk and red-eyed, searching for a bestowed comfort. while it wouldn't have mattered if it was someone else, it felt so wrong back then. he'd hugged you tight, your ribs almost breaking from the pressure. it made you reminisce of the days when he'd hug you, whispering i love you's in your ear. it made you reminisce of the days when he'd tickle you and you'd laugh till your ribs hurt. you remembered how he'd reeked of alcohol and tobacco, so unlike yet like him.
he stands there before you, his nose dripping blood, tears staining his cheeks. you stare at him hollow-eyed, your heart bleeding with an urge to hold him. but it seems like you're stuck, as if your blood is frozen, your senses too numb. he stammers, walking towards you. he smells like a flowery scent infused with the stench of beer. his words are broken when he speaks into your hair, his arms dropping on your body.
your lips are dry as your arms close around his shaking body.
'who did this to you?' you whisper. you feel his heartbeat beating against yours. his slows it's pace and yours picks up the pace as he lets the cruel words out of his mouth, offering you a broken story.
'this-this girl, she groped me when i was dancing with her. i thought it was by mistake a-at first, but-'
he breaks down, his sobs shattering every shard of your broken heart.
'it's fine, we'll get you a warm bath,' you whisper, slowly running your fingers down his spine. it's as if by instinct, or maybe old habit, you kiss his shoulder.
'i-i miss you.' he says.
'i'm right here,'
'no, i miss us.'
'sirius?'
he looks at you with an utmost expression of genuine love and it scares you. his gray eyes almost absorb your soul. it's as if your heart beats maniacally against your ribcage, while he captivates you. he feels like the perfect muse for your poems. he feels like the last bite of your cornetto. he feels like home.
he feels like he's yours.
you're scared. maybe the incarnations were roses after all.

Thank you for writing for plus size readers! I'd love to see something with an older Sirius(Harry's still a teen) and a chubby muggle reader! Could be she's a teacher leading a group of kids on a field trip he happens to see or is a mama to a little who is fascinated with Sirius asking him question after question. Please and thank you for any response! <3
i'm glad you like my writing! let's see what i can come up with<3
Tumblr media
taking care of thirty kids for the day on a school trip is quite a a challenge. thirty kids in a classroom? your everyday job. thirty kids on a school trip? well you wish that that schools had better funding so you could have more than two teachers on the trip. all the children are holding hands in pairs and being each others 'buddy' for the trip, making sure everyone is paired up. one second you're addressing all the children to get back on the bus to go home and the next you're turning around as one of the children pulls on your sleeve and tells you that their friend has run off, sending you in complete worry. "do you know they went off to?" they point and you spot your missing student talking to some random man.
"you go," you colleague says before taking over your previous role and continues getting everyone back on the bus.
you rush over as quickly as you can and pull back your student, the man who is in front of you just cocks his eyebrow and continues answering the question that he was just asked, which absolutely infuriated you. "do you live near here then?" your curious student asks this unknown man.
he chuckles, "no, but i think it's cool. stonehenge is very mysterious."
you can tell your student is about to ask another question and you hope to god that he hasn't said something private about his life or the school to this stranger. the stranger looks back up at you after having been making eye contact with your pupil and says in an almost flirtatious tone, "i'm sirius, and this mischievous little guy has been rather curious about random trivia about stonehenge. i don't think the guidebook he has is very useful."
sirius holds up a guidebook and almost sways it in the air. you go to grab it from him, this man, albeit an attractive man, has just taken the guidebooks you brought for everybody. sirius smirks at your reaction. "why did you take his book?" you student asked you and then you notice that he's still holding his one and you've just taken sirius' from his hand. sirius holds his hand out with a smirk waiting for you to pass it back to him. you don't quell your frustration but give sirius back his guidebook.
"do you have a girlfriend mr?"
your eyes widen at the question. sirius laughs and says to you, "oh yeah, he's also been pretty curious about me too."
you ignore sirius, "you can't ask question like that, it's very rude. you know not to talk to strangers as well. we need to get back to the others."
sirius wants you to stay, he hasn't even heard your name. he purposely stayed with your student so he was safe and was answering all his questions until someone came to find him and when the person comes to collect him he didn't expect someone as beautiful as you. all the professors who taught him at hogwarts were older so when informed by the kid that he was on a school trip he assumed to be greeted by an elderly teacher, not someone his own age, not someone as beautiful as you, just his type. he can't help but be drawn to you, your anger and frustration not concealed well at the situation, kind and a gentle tone when talking to your student, soft and plush body, pretty face, he hasn't been so drawn to someone for years.
"i don't have a girlfriend."
"what?" you furrow your eyebrows.
"i never even got your name." you scoff. your student decided to jump into the conversation at this time and answer him with your name. sirius contains his cackle and grins, "thank you young man. do you know if your pretty teacher is single too?" your student confirms and returns his grin.
completely perplexed with this entire situation you go to leave. it's been a tiring day and a weird interaction, although sirius seems okay and it seems that the only things they spoke about was sirius and the trip. "if you're single does that mean i can have your number?"
"what?"
"number?" sirius asks and hopes that every muggle has phones. he knows a lot of his friends do, even he does and he's a pureblood, but he doesn't know how popular they are with muggles and if everyone has them.
sirius is attractive and he is your type, but you're not going to give him your number. it would be inappropriate.
"just your number."
i'm not actually breaking any rules by giving him my number. you give in as you hurriedly writes your number down on his hand with your pen from your pocket. "just my number." you mumble. "no promises."
sirius winks at you, "i'll call you."
"yeah, alright," you say quietly. "come on, lets head back to the bus," you say louder, holding onto your students hand. sirius and your student says their goodbyes.
as you walk away you hear sirius call out, "one to two people are proposed to every month at stonehenge."
you give a small smile and you hope he calls you tonight.

You weren’t sure exactly when this little feud started with Ron, but it had slowly progressed over time. It wasn’t quite strong enough for you to say you despised each other, the two of you could feign civilness in front of your shared friends and the adults of The Order. The first couple days at Grimmauld Place were miserable for you, without Harry to keep him occupied Ron had took it upon himself to wreak havoc on your belongings. It was your luck that the red haired boy had never had the best knack for charms and all your cursed, flying books were quickly ceased from their attempts to collide against your head. Hermione had tried reasoning with him but there was little effort in her recent attempts, given how you stopped down to his level and retaliated by turning his skin blue. Of course, you had successfully convinced Hermione that it was the twins who had put you up to such a prank, further planting the seed into her head that you were just an innocent bystander in the whole thing.
You hadn’t told your parents of what was happening between you and Ron, not knowing how they would react. Even in the wizarding world, they would not be considered normal parents. You knew all about their notorious past at Hogwarts and the Marauder’s Map. While you didn’t like a single thing about Ron, you didn’t particularly feel like watching him be crucified in front of your eyes should your fathers be revealed the truth of your sudden mood swings. Thankfully, Harry’s presence along with the return of the missing Aurors of the Order had distracted you both to put your squabbling at ease for the time being, focusing on your mutual friend. All had gone smoothly for the first night, but on the second evening, you had told Hermione to head to dinner without you, promising you would be following her shortly. You had finished brushing your hair and headed down one of the many long, narrow corridors to get to the dining room where everyone was waiting.
A small creak of the floorboards behind you prompted you to turn around and your eyes instinctively rolled at the familiar sight of red hair and blue eyes. You folded your arms over your chest and scowled at him, “Following girls around now? Should’ve known you were a creep.” Ron’s fists clenched at his sides and his face already turning a bright shade of red, causing a smirk to appear on your own. The taller boy stepped closer, glaring down at you, “As if I’d be following a pig like you anywhere, maybe you should go back to your room so there’ll be food left for the rest of us.” Ron had made little comments about your weight before, it was all his intelligence could come up with to insult you about. You weren’t bothered by his opinion of you, especially when you knew he was wrong. You scoffed and held your arms by your sides, not backing down from him, “You’re one to talk, shovelling shit down your throat for everyone to see. Go learn what basic manners are, if that’s not too difficult for you to understand.”
Your eyes glanced up at a very prominent vein poking out of Ron’s forehead and it took a small amount of effort not to laugh at how obviously worked up he was. He opened his mouth but before another word could come out of it, a hand clasped you both on the shoulder and your attentions were turned to your fathers standing to the left of you both. Remus put his arm around your shoulder, “Come come pup, we’re all waiting for you two, people will get the wrong idea.” Your face heated up in rage and disgust at the mere thought of anyone thinking you would even consider the possibility of doing anything with that horrid boy. Remus chuckled at your expression, “I’m only joking, we’re all well aware of how much you hate each other, but unfortunately, you can’t go about hexing people just because you don’t like them in the real world.” You frowned, “Why ever not?” Your father shook his head as he sat you down at the table next to him.
Sirius’ hand firmly gripped Ron’s shoulder to the point of being painful, causing the boy to wince from the pressure on his shoulder. Unbeknownst to the both of you, they had heard everything between the two of you and it had taken most of Remus’ strength to hold back Sirius when he heard Ron talking about your weight. Sirius smiled at Ron but it disappeared once you were out of sight, pushing the boy against the wall, taking his wand out and pointing it towards the cowering child in front of him, “If you even dare to think about talking to my dear little pup like that again, I’ll make you wish you were never born. Do you understand?” Ron whimpered as Sirius gently patted his cheek and ruffled his hair, putting his wand away in his cloak, “Atta boy, now hurry before your mother worries. I’d hate to have to tell her how you’ve been treating girls.” The fear of both Sirius and his mother was enough to make Ron dash into the safety of the dining room, his tail between his legs, and quickly sit next to Hermione and Ginny. He didn’t dare to look in your direction for the entirety of the week and you were more than grateful but you knew that something had happened outside of your knowledge.
Cut to a few hours later and it was nearing midnight, you had yet to hear another peep from the ginger boy despite there being a few instances he could have jabbed a quick insult in here and there. But no, he just kept his head down and didn’t seem to be able to look you in the eye, not even speaking to you at all. Don’t get me wrong, you were delighted with the change but you were curious to find out what brought it on. Your eyes looked over at your parents and the way Sirius was glaring at Ron told you everything you needed to know. You smiled to yourself and walked over to them, they were stood in the kitchen helping Molly clean up after dinner.
You wrapped your arms around Remus in a hug, “Night dad, night pops.” Remus didn’t hesitate returning your hug and let you go after a few moments to let you hug your other adoptive father. You hugged Sirius close and mumbled in his ear, “You didn’t have to tell him off you know, I had it handled.” Sirius chuckled and stroked the top of your head with his hand, looking down at you with a fond smile, “Oh I know you did dear, but I couldn’t help it, i have to keep my pup safe and happy at all times.” You smiled to yourself and gave Sirius another quick hug before heading upstairs to bed for the night. Once under the sheets you snuggled up to a black wolf teddy that your parents had gotten for you when you were little. You held it close to your chest as you drifted off to sleep, comforted by the fact you had the best parents you could ever wish for.

Letters to G. Weasley. [g.w. x reader]
Tumblr media
Inspired by Letters to Milena.
You left me in that beautiful heap of dazzles and brilliance; your recalcitrance with your brother— just to send a message.
Do you know how I felt when I saw what you left in the sky on the morning of my NEWTS; your farewell to Hogwarts while we were all stuck under the authoritarian regime of that daft pink woman.
I was so, so, so devastated.
I spent my nights crying, you git. You didn't tell me you were leaving.
- Y/N, May 14, 1996.
***
Dear George,
I've come to peace with you after ignoring all your owls. Yes, I'm writing back to you. Yes, I've decided to address you, unlike my last letter, if you still have it.
Even though I dearly, passionately, and remarkably hate you; I still miss your voice.
I've graduated from Hogwarts and I'm joining the Ministry. Has your shop been doing well? Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, was it? Never mind that I'll get straight to the point. No more preamble.
I'd like to see you, if you'd wish to, of course. I've moved on from that undesirable spring.
I fully understand if you wish not to. You can be a man of deep-seated grudges, after all.
I'll leave it up to you, and I most favourably look forward to your reply.
Yours,
Y/N, June 21, 1997
***
George.
It's been a rough month. I know it's been tougher for you, too. Is your ear, or lack thereof, okay? From what I understand from your letter, you're currently hiding in Sirius Black's family's manor with The Order, and the Burrow's gone? I cannot fathom this.
The Dark Lord, Cedric's death in 6th year, I thought it was all a nightmare. Now it's very much real. Please, take care of yourself. It's been hectic here in the Ministry. I've been drinking Pepper-Up potions every two days just to feel alive.
Please, please, please, I cannot stress this enough, take care of yourself.
I love you.
Yours,
Y/N, August 2, 1997.
***
George.
Please, let me join The Order. I know I can handle it. I want to, I need to, join the battle against Voldemort. Let me help.
He took away everything we've loved dearly. It's only a matter of time until he strikes all of us down.
Please, reply as soon as you can.
I love you dearly.
Yours,
Y/N, August 14, 1997.
***
George Weasley.
With your lack of response, I'm going to assume you're not letting me join The Order. Or are you dead?
For the love of Merlin, let me in. I need to know you're okay. I spent nights thinking of the worst possible scenarios; what if you've all been found by Voldemort? What if I never get to see you again?
Please, at least reply. Even one single word. Anything, just to know you're alive.
I know the Ministry's hot on Potter's tail right now, so if you ever read this, please send my regards to him. I've seen the way Fudge hides away in his office. The man's out of his mind, rambling about how Voldemort isn't back.
Diagon Alley shut down. Ollivander's gone. Your shop's... Seen better days.
Oh, how I wish to go back to halcyon days. Reply, please.
I love you.
Yours,
Y/N, August 29, 1997.
***
My dearest, George,
As soon as Errol came swooping by my window, I got up, drank my milk, and wrote to you.
I understand why you won't let me join, it's dangerous. I understand completely. But please, don't leave me in the dark. It's been two months since I last saw you, don't you think I at least deserve to know what's happening?
Merlin, you lost an ear. You're just like that Muggle painter, don't you know? I don't want to lose you spiralling in the raging sea of war.
It isn't easy for anyone right now, and I understand you're just trying to get by. Apropos of your nightmares, I'll send you Dreamless Sleep potions by Owl soon. I've brewed them a few months prior because I, too, have been plagued with nightmares.
The world's in a dark place right now. Please, take care of yourself.
I love you.
Yours,
Y/N, September 2, 1997.
***
Dearest George,
Amidst the never-ending darkness, I got myself a cat. She's a chubby ginger tabby cat, and in the envelope is a picture of us together. I've recently taken up Muggle photography to get my mind off things; though Muggle cameras aren't as capable as magical cameras, they have this certain charm to them. They remind me a lot of you, actually.
The cat's still unnamed, so I'm leaving the task of naming her to you.
How are the potions? Are they helping? You didn't mention them in your letter, so I thought to ask you.
I miss you, dearly. Come home soon.
Yours,
Y/N, October 14, 1997.
***
George.
Please, for the love of fuck, tell me you're alive.
News of Death Eater attacks are all over the Prophet. I'm still safe and sound, but where are you?
Word is going around in the Ministry that a second wizarding war may break out any time soon.
Please.
Please.
Please.
Write back.
Y/N, April 29, 1998.
***
George.
I'm fighting in the war.
Wait for me, my love.
Yours,
Y/N, May 2, 1998
