Fic: Home

When Regulus first mentioned he was moving out of Sirius and Remus’ place, his brother insisted it wasn't necessary. But today, on his last day, Sirius couldn't hide his excitement about living alone with his boyfriend. Regulus was genuinely happy for them, though what bothered him most was leaving their cozy flat behind and getting used to a new living arrangement.

Moving out meant finding a new place and a new roommate. Regulus had enough money to live solo, but the thought of loneliness irked him more than anything. Sirius knew this, which is why an hour after Regulus announced his departure, he received a text from James Potter.

[Jamie] Come live with me

Regulus smirked at his phone. James had saved his contact with that nickname, hoping Regulus would feel guilty about being mean to him. He didn’t, but that didn't mean he wasn't growing fond of James.

[Regulus] Where are your manners, Potter? Shouldn’t you at least ask me out first?

[Jamie] You’re such a princess. I have a spare room and you need a place to live.

I need Black sisters centric fics, I don’t want Regulus and Sirius with a side of Black sisters I want Narcissa having to deal with Andromeda being cast out and Bellatrix’s descent into insanity, I want Andromeda having to choose between the man she loves and her family. Honestly I want more Andromeda content in general because this fandom loves LOVES to gloss over her getting disowned because of Sirius. Which is insane to me because Sirius didn’t get disowned until AFTER he ran away (still love Sirius though) while Andromeda got disowned because she married Ted Tonks and then got SHUNNED by her sisters because of it. Bellatrix’s spiral into insanity would be so interesting to read about and there’s so much potential there too.

The Black sisters are so complex and this fandom makes them so one dimensional and or side characters to push Sirius or Regulus’ character development further

This was the stupidest decision Regulus had ever made.

It started a week ago. James Potter was late for class, that was not the problem. The problem was that James lacked common sense, so instead of accepting an absence in class, he thought sprinting through campus with a hot coffee on his hand would have a successful outcome.

It didn’t.

He ran into an already very annoyed Regulus, and spilled his drink on the paper folder that the boy was dearly holding onto. When he looked up to assess the damage he folded at the sight of a devastated Regulus. He froze as he saw that the beautiful drawings that were carefully hidden behind the folder were absolutely ruined and it was all James’ fault.

“Please let me make it up to you,” James’ begged and desperately searched for forgiveness in Regulus’ eyes. He could only find despair. Regulus handed them the coffee stained paper and James couldn’t help but blush as he started deciphering the forms drawn: nudes.

“Oh.”

“Yeah, so unless you’re willing to pose in nude for me, there’s really no-”

“I’ll do it,” James blurted out. No hesitation.

Accepting James’ help was the stupidest decision Regulus had ever made. He was now in his living room, with a naked James Potter trying to concentrate on drawing him.

This was definitely not ending well.
