I need u to know I can’t stop thinking abt the forbidden geriatric pregnancy au specifically jfj faking a pregnancy… did she just shove a pillow up there. I love her so much.
Ann Ross commissioned a special corset with a hard leather “bowl” attached to the front. It is not the most comfortable thing, but it is relatively unobtrusive. The rest is done with padding and clothing silhouettes.
A question you didn’t ask but that I’d love to answer, because I am the way I am: Does Fitzjames get couvade syndrome? Yes.
JFJ: God. I’m queasy and my back hurts
Crozier, pregnant with Willa: We don’t have to pretend while it’s just the two of us at home, dear.
JFJ: No, I really *am* queasy and my back really *does* hurt
Crozier: Huh.
James should also have a badass moment of picking Francis up and carrying him when Francis gets a flash of symphysis pubis dysfunction pain. (He didn’t have any complications with Thomas, because it’s funnier that way, but with Willa he can have a little hurt/comfort. As a treat.)
And everybody who sees this is like oh my goodness this woman is so strong and brave, but she shouldn’t be picking up her husband in her condition!
Being carried by a strong, tall woman would be a turn-on for Crozier if he weren’t in pelvis agony. They’ll have to put a pin in that idea to revisit it later.

On one hand i would like to have a large baby. my family and gilgamesh’s come from a long line of beefy, nine pound plus chunkers. I was 9 and something lbs with a full head of hair and almost a week late. I want that baby fully cooked and maybe a little overdone. tons of studies not just anecdotal show that they just seem sort of… nicer and easier to deal with, like the biggest of the litter. they sleep more. they dont struggle in general as much and they gain weight easily and they also move a little slower. not saying they dont hit milestones but a fat ass baby will stay in its potted plant lump stage a little while longer before jumping into the running around sticking fingers in outlets stage.
on the other hand, i am so so concerned for the sanctity of my gooch. a nine pound baby will tear my grundle asunder. my taint to shreds.

## A Trusty Companion Throughout My Pregnancy: A Review of Prenatalin
Finding out I was pregnant was a whirlwind of emotions – joy, excitement, and a touch of nervousness. With a tiny human growing inside me, I knew I needed to be extra mindful of my health and well-being. My doctor recommended Prenatalin vitamins, and after researching the brand and its ingredients, I decided to give them a try. Here's why Prenatalin became a trusted companion throughout my pregnancy journey.
**Prenatal Essentials:**
Prenatalin offers a comprehensive range of essential nutrients crucial for both mom and baby during pregnancy. Folic acid, known for its role in preventing neural tube defects, is present in a readily absorbable form. Additionally, the vitamins provide a good dose of iron, which helps carry oxygen throughout the body, especially important as blood volume increases during pregnancy. Calcium for strong bones and teeth development in the baby, along with Vitamin D to aid calcium absorption, are also included.
**More Than Just the Basics:**
Prenatalin goes beyond the standard prenatal vitamin by offering additional support. It contains choline, a nutrient vital for healthy brain development in the baby. For moms experiencing morning sickness, the inclusion of Vitamin B6 can be a lifesaver, as it helps alleviate nausea and vomiting.
**Easy to Swallow and Gentle on the Stomach:**
Prenatal vitamins can be notorious for their size and causing nausea. Thankfully, Prenatalin comes in easy-to-swallow capsules. I never experienced any stomach upset throughout my entire pregnancy, which was a major plus.
**Peace of Mind with a Reputable Brand:**
Prenatalin is a well-established brand with a long history of providing quality prenatal vitamins. Knowing they are manufactured with strict quality control standards gave me peace of mind.
**A Supportive Partner on My Pregnancy Journey:**
Taking Prenatalin daily became a reassuring ritual throughout my pregnancy. Knowing I was providing my developing baby with the essential nutrients for healthy growth was incredibly empowering. Prenatalin not only supported my nutritional needs but also helped alleviate some pregnancy discomforts. It was a small but significant way I could prioritize my health and well-being during this transformative time.
Prenatalin lived up to its reputation as a comprehensive and reliable prenatal vitamin. It provided me with the essential nutrients I needed to nourish myself and my growing baby, all in an easy-to-swallow and gentle-on-the-stomach formula. For any mom-to-be seeking a high-quality prenatal vitamin, I highly recommend giving Prenatalin a try.

A flashback to the summer and the luscious red raspberries in the garden. Raspberries (Rubus idaeus) are a universally popular fruit and flavour for desserts and candies, but did you know that the leaves may have medicinal value in women’s health? Fresh or dried raspberry leaves can be steeped in boiling water to make a tangy, refreshing grassy-flavoured tea. The tea prepared from the leaves contain high concentrations of vitamin C, vitamin E, calcium, zinc, antioxidant flavonoids, and ellagic acid (thought to help prevent cancer).
There’s a medical hypothesis that potassium and magnesium deficiency is one of the main underlying factors of PMS, and that’s where raspberry leaf tea can help. People who experience painful menstrual cramps may find drinking raspberry leaf tea during the first days of their period beneficial. The leaves are rich in bioavailable (easily absorbed by the human body) magnesium. Magnesium soothes muscle cramps by relaxing the smooth muscles, which are the type found in the uterus. Raspberry leaves are also high in potassium, and medical studies indicate eating potassium rich foods during your period can help with pain and bloating. Raspberry leaves also contain an alkaloid called fragrine, which may act to relax the smooth muscles of the uterus.
Raspberry leaf tea also has many traditional uses in pregnancy and labor, and there is medical evidence to support that drinking the tea during pregnancy can lower the risk of complications during birth. The medical consensus is that raspberry leaf tea is generally safe, but if you are interested in drinking it during pregnancy please talk to your doctor first.
If you find the plain raspberry leaf tea insipid, try combing it with with green tea, lemon balm, and spearmint for a refreshing drink that’s suitable for all phases of your monthly cycle.

Still got a ways to go, but I’m so proud of how far I’ve come 😮‍💨. It’s been a struggle postpartum, way harder than I thought it would be, but I’m finally getting my head out the water and getting back to it. Finding a routine, balancing being a new full time mom, working, working out, eating healthy, and healing has not been easy to put it lightly lol. But I’m finally finding my footing. So if I can do it, anyone can do it literally. I’m not where I started, but I can’t wait to see where I end up. I have a feeling it’s gonna be better than before 😉. If you’re a new mom and you’re struggling, hang in there; you’ll find what works for you. I know it can seem like no matter what you do, your body is constantly rebelling. But trust the process and be patient. As long as you keep showing up consistently, you’ll never fail. 🫶🏽

Nutrition counseling is important for all women prior to conception, during pregnancy, and lactation. A woman’s nutritional status not only influences her health but also fetal health and is associated with more appropriate birth weight and increased rates of maternal and infant survival.

Some things I wish people understood about pregnancy in light of the SCOTUS ruling overturning Roe v. Wade:
The primary definition of a parasite is 'an organism that lives in or on an organism of another species (its host) and benefits by deriving nutrients at the other's expense.'
The only part of that that doesn't apply to a fetus is the part where it's another species. Everything else fits.
Pregnant people lose iron to the fetus. Lose calcium as it builds its bones in the third trimester. Do you really think it's a coincidence that osteoporosis is so much higher among femme folks? While I haven't seen research confirming it, consider that our brains are 2/3 DHA (fat) and that when the fetus is growing its own brain it has to get DHA from somewhere. How many pregnant folks become forgetful and spacey while pregnant? Do you not see the correlation there?
It's just one of the reasons I fight so fiercely for abortion access. No one should have to go through pregnancy unwillingly.
