uve got me HOOKEDDD on the idea of an izuku & rumi friendship/mentorship bc like it occurred to me that not only do they both have the bunny motif, they both have the very specific motif of FERAL bunny - izuku both times katsuki nearly dies & the way he looked as a vigilante, and that one iconic panel of rumi rushing shigafo with both arms gone and her fangs bared like a Beast. like i can just imagine them training together postwar & rumi is going like "and so even if ur fuckin arms & legs are cut off or out of commission, just remember it is NOT the end and u CAN bite the fucker to death until u win 💪💪💪 can even play the long game and give em rabies" & izuku is just like ":OOO"

For real though, being that both are my favorite characters of BNHA, I started to notice just how similar they are.

And it doesn't even stop at the rabbit thing!

Even wrote a fic where Miruko realizes how alike they're are and it was like "Well, damn, I got some self-reflection to do!"

I just... to me they're my duo! Like, it's a somewhat common concept, yeah, but the idea of Miruko mentoring Midoriya appealed to me. Again, they're both my favorite characters and they share similarities that don't just stop at them being like rabbits.

Bonus, take an account of All Might. When you really think about it, he also share some of those similarities.

Ich versuche mich gerade am Schreiben einer Fanfiction und hätte da mal eine Frage, normalerweise müsste ich das wohl wissen, aber mir kommt’s echt nicht mehr in den Sinn: Spricht Thiel Mirko mit seinem Nach- oder Vornamen an? Ein bisschen peinlich, das mir das entfallen ist, aber ich dachte du könntest mir vielleicht behilflich sein? :)

keine Sorge, ich musste auch noch mal in die Folgen schauen, um mich zu vergewissern! Das Ganze ist auch etwas verwirrend, denn:

In "Spieglein, Spieglein" nennt Thiel ihn Mirko und duzt ihn sogar. In den darauffolgenden Folgen, in denen Mirko dabei ist, wird er von Thiel gesiezt und überwiegend – wenn nicht sogar ausschließlich – Schrader genannt.

Ich nehme an, dass während der Dreharbeiten von "Spieglein, Spieglein" noch nicht klar war, ob und wie Mirkos Figur in Zukunft wieder vorkommen wird. Sie haben ihn als Nadeshdas Urlaubsvertretung etabliert, mit der Thiel etwas flapsiger umgehen kann – wahrscheinlich, um eine gewisse Hierarchie anzudeuten. Dafür spricht auch, dass Thiel von Mirko konsequent gesiezt wird.

Als Mirko ab "Limbus" schließlich zum vollwertigen Mitglied des Münsteraner Teams erhoben wird, wurde seine Figur wahrscheinlich noch einmal ordentlich ausgearbeitet. Einige Elemente wurden angepasst, zum Beispiel trägt er in späteren Folgen kein Jackett wie in "Spieglein, Spieglein" mehr. Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass sie im Zuge dieser Ausarbeitung auch die zuvor etablierte Hierarchie zwischen Thiel und Mirko rückgängig machen wollten.

Dass er anfängt, Mirko zu siezen, ergibt auf jeden Fall Sinn. Immerhin siezt er alle anderen aus dem engeren Kollegium auch. Warum er allerdings in seiner Anrede zu "Schrader" wechselt, kann ich nur vermuten. Vielleicht, weil er den Rest des Teams eben auch mit Nachnamen anspricht. Mit Nadeshda war das damals wohl etwas anderes, weil er sie als junge Praktikantin kennengelernt hat und ein Wechsel zum Nachnamen nur gestelzt gewirkt hätte. Bei Mirko hingegen waren immerhin zwei Folgen Pause zwischen seinen ersten beiden Auftritten – genug Zeit also, um relativ unbemerkt vom Duzen zum Siezen und von Mirko zu Schrader zu wechseln.

Dieser Wechsel erklärt wahrscheinlich auch, weshalb Mirko in vielen Fanfictions ganz unterschiedlich von Thiel angeredet wird. In meinen Geschichten nennt Thiel ihn lustigerweise immer Mirko, aber es gibt viele andere Geschichten, in denen er Schrader von ihm genannt wird. Oder beides. Abseits von Fanfictions nennen wir ihn wohl vorrangig Mirko, weil wir ihn in "Spieglein, Spieglein" als Mirko kennengelernt haben.

Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn: Wenn du dich nah am Canon orientieren möchtest, wäre es wohl zutreffender, wenn Thiel ihn Schrader nennt. Aber er hat ihn auch schon Mirko genannt und, wie gesagt, in vielen Fanfictions wird das ganz unterschiedlich gehandhabt. :)

Makes you regress because they like the dynamic and how submissive it makes you: Enji, Aizawa Aizawa isn’t cruel per se. He likes the dynamic because it gives him the ability to give you everything. To truly care for you in every way possible. And he's a good cg but unrelenting - his rules and routines are set and he won't budge on them, ever. He cares very little for your protests, he simply pretends not to hear them. He's too tired from work, be it school or hero work, and when he's home he wants to spend his evenings and days off in peace, with you. He can be reasonable when he wants to be and when you've been good, allowing you small freedoms and choices here and there, but nothing major - he's still in charge and always will be. Wouldn't force himself on you, either. He can wait, there really is no need to rush things when he knows he has you for the rest of his life. (Yes, he's that confident in you never escaping - but how can you when you're getting strapped down after he leaves for work, when he puts your little hands in mitts and gags you?) All in all it's a pretty bleak future for you but he rarely hits you and doesn't play cruel mind games, he's just a tad delusional when it comes to you. I’ve mentioned this in another post, but I can see Enji in two ways - either as someone who genuinely wants to be your cg because he views you as something precious and vulnerable or out of the desire to make you fully submit to him. If he makes you regress because he wants to dominate you, you're in for a bad time. He accepts nothing less than the perfect little play-pretend darling - always demure, willing and soft. If you can't manage to live up to your expectations, you'll be severly punished - both physically and mentally. He doesn't play around and won't start now. Not above beating you to a pulp to break you. He doesn't care one bit if a broken finger doesn't quite heal right or if your nose doesn't look like it used to - you should have listened to him better, simple as. Your fault, really. If he wants to be your cg because of some twisted sense of love for you then you're a little better off. He wants to do right by you and genuinely tries to be a little more patient. And he loves you, at least that's what he always tells you. You're still forced into this, forced into restraints and bath time and diapers and frills... He's more patient with you but punishments are still given when you misbehave and they aren't light. But he would never ridicule you. If you accept your fate and let yourself fall it's probably not too bad compared to some others. But he can't keep his fingers off you - he knows he's a little too big for you, but he loves to make you cum on his fingers and thighs and you better play along or else...

Who'd like it because it's degrading for you and they'd belittle you for it: Rumi, Hawks

Hawks - he’s probably not the first one who comes to mind when you think about cgs, right? But like some others on here, he has a cruel streak and revels in you slowly losing control. It's addicting to see a grown adult regress into complete dependence little by little and even better to be a proper hero for the public while he can be a monster behind closed doors. Does he like diaper changes? No, not really. Does he think it's cute when he forces you to piss yourself, when he feeds you by hand, when he makes you baby-talk to him? No, no, no - it's not that he thinks it's simply adorable when you wet yourself or when you cry out of frustration because you can't use your hands anymore. It's all about control. It's about forcing you to do despicable things, something forbidden, something just between the two of you. It's about completely breaking you down and re-building you from scratch - and he's incredibly cruel about it. He lets you know just how disgusting that full diaper is, how pathetic you look, you act. It's all about shame for him. Rumi would do it because she can. Just because she is able to, nothing less. She's definitely not disgusted by you pissing yourself and the likes but that honey-sweet voice can turn into sharp anger and ridicule at any given moment. You can try to be good for her all you want, she's volatile and always chasing a new thrill - one day puppy eyes and a heartfelt sorry get you out of punishment the next she holds your head into the toilet bowl for it. Always condescending, always pitying you with a mean grin even though she was the one to force you to wet yourself. Always taunting you that even if you made it out one day nobody would ever believe you. She's probably the one to hold off mindbreak the longest, just because she likes the struggle and sheer dehumanization - the shame you feel, the way you're glaring back at her behind that pacifier gag. You better hope she never grows tired of you because she has no qualms disposing of you... Not killing you, but giving you into the 'loving care' of any willing prospect who can be paid hush money. And as a funky little addition: The absolute worst cgs - because they wouldn’t do an ounce of caretaking and either make you regress because of mindbreak or would force you to ag3 play for the sheer humiliation alone. You think Hawks and Rumi are cruel? Well, at least they do a minimal amount of care and see themselves as a twisted version of a cg. Shigaraki and Overhaul however, are just terrible. Especially with early Shigaraki - he’d crack you like an egg with the way he treats, no, abuses you. If you regress because of the intense strain on your body and mind, he’d do fuck-all to treat you accordingly/better. He wants someone he can fuck and not... whatever this is. Not above threatening you. Doesn't care if you wet yourself because of trauma - no, he lets you sit in your misery until you reek and cry. Mocks you for regressing as well and noncons you while doing it. A pretty grisly situation. Kai has no patience whatsoever for this. Not above overhauling you to pull you out of an episode - or locking you into your room until you're scratching at the door to be let out. He finds it absolutely repulsive and doesn't understand regressing at all. And if you continue he might just mess with your brain a little...

Horikoshi saw fans liking that Miruko was hardcore enough to sacrifice an an arm and a leg for the next generation of heroes and to help out all the other heroes gain ground without casualties during the raid. But then tried to replicate that hardcoreness by having her lose them again 2 Electric Boogaloo plus another arm like the black knight in monty pythons the holy grail. Instead of looking cool it did kind of the opposite for me and made it unsettling because she was walking around like an animal not so much a hero :/. Just felt very fetishy.

I guess it beats the alternative of dying offscreen like Midnight :'D.. And after all the twitter drawings Horikoshi did for Miruko he goes and does this to her lol

🪶 Keigo found out because he was teasing him, you had warned him not to but he didn’t listen, lucky for you instead of lashing out. Your cat decided to tell him off themselves. 🪶 It only took a little while before they both started to tease each other, Keigo scaring your cat half to death and your cat taking every opportunity to jump on Keigo or swipe at his feet. 🪶 You could come home to a disaster zone if Keigo got home before you, which was not often but when it did happen you honestly dreaded it. 🪶 You literally could not trust them to do anything, they were proud creatures and often tried to show you how much better they were then the other and that lead to even more problems.

You had been in the shower, you had only left them for 15 minutes and as you walked out of the bathroom when you heard a crash, you ran into the living room with nothing but a towel wrapped around your body “woah hello there beautiful.” Keigo smirked as he looked away from (Y/C/N) across the room. “Gross, that is my parent.!” (Y/C/N) continued. “Well they’re my partner so cover your ears if you don’t wanna hear it!” Keigo ordered. “What the hell is going on?” You asked, arms crossed as you looked between the two of you. “Nothing that you need to worry your pretty little head about, I’m just proving that he couldn’t catch me if he tried.” Keigo smirked as he looked back at the cat. “He has caught you before… Many times.” You reminded him. “Told you!” (Y/C/N) cheered. “Ah yes but that is swiftly followed by my own attack.” Keigo said. “Almost as if I were expecting it.” “Can you both just behave yourself for 10 minutes while I get changed?” You asked. “Ask him, he’s the one that starts it.” (Y/C/N) turned his back to Keigo and you narrowed your eyes as you saw the feathers moving towards the unknowing feline. “Stop.” “Fine fine, I’ll just come with you.” He wriggled his eyebrows as you rolled your eyes, turning away from him. “You're gross.” (Y/C/N) muttered as he disappeared into the kitchen. You turned away to walk back into the bedroom and get changed as Keigo followed. “You can’t expect me to behave myself without a reward.” Keigo followed you into the room catching you before you would walk towards the draws that housed all of you pajamas. “Will you ever learn to behave yourself?” You asked. “You don’t want that.” He teased, pressing a kiss to your jaw slowly coaxing you into something other than getting dressed.

🍡 Fatgum didn’t realise that there was anything different about your cat in fact it probably could have stayed that way for a very long time. 🍡 They got along well whenever he was eating something he shared with you little companion and scolded you when you told the little one that they had enough. You at one point were sure that the little guy was putting on weight. 🍡 They loved cuddling up together and you would often find them in bed or on the sofa, he found out about him talking when he walked in on the two of you arguing about stealing your boyfriend. 🍡 From there he treated him more like a child then a pet, scolding him and playing with him and still feeding him more than he needed.

You sighed as you walked into the house, smiling as you heard Taishiro talking in the other room, you knew that he was talking to (Y/C/N), you walked into the room raising an eyebrow as you watched the two “if I give you an extra dinner you can’t tell mum, she’s going to kill me!” Taishiro muttered, hunched over the cat that was looking at him with pleading eyes. “I never tell her.” (Y/C/N) answered and you narrowed your eyes, they both got up, it took longer for your cat to notice you than your boyfriend (who stopped dead in his tracks) because of the sofa obscuring the little one’s vision. “Extra dinners?” You asked. “Really?” “He said he was starving.” Taishiro said. “He always says that he’s starving, I took him for a check up, he’s almost overweight!” You complained. “Alright… I’ll stop.” Taishiro said. “You promised me that before and look what happened…” You crossed your arms over your chest and turned away from them. (Y/C/N) was the first to come over rubbing against your ankle, you glanced down at him and he looked up at you. “I know that this diet is hard but once we get you back to a healthy weight, you can have your treats back as a reward.” You reached down, tickling his chin. “This is stupid.” (Y/C/N) grumbled and you nodded. “Uh huh, so no extra dinner for you and you.” You pointed at Taishiro across the room who was looking as guilty as ever. “No sweets for the rest of the night.” “Yes ma’am.” He nodded as he walked over, pressing a kiss to your cheek. “I’m leaving you alone for 20 minutes while I shower and get changed but if you do anything I’ll be able to smell the guilt on you.” You warned them. “Humans can’t smell guilt.” (Y/C/N) said. “Test me.” You goaded him before disappearing into the bedroom and further into the bathroom.

🐛 You didn’t even tell this man that your cat could talk, he just started talking to them one day and of course your feline friend spoke back, he literally did not bat an eyelid. 🐛 Laziest creatures in your life, they will collectively convince you to do nothing… Unless it’s food time, if it’s food time then the cat is no ally to anyone. 🐛 Most would think that Aizawa was the one who owned the cat because it was constantly trailing after him and complimenting him on everything that he did with the odd sassy comment when they didn’t agree on something, honestly some would say that he stole your cat. 🐛 You're sure that they miss each other more than they ever miss you and sometimes you're dramatic about it but rest assured you are the most important person in either one of their lives.

You walked through the front door kicking off your shoes, you dropped your bag to the floor before walking into the living room “you took your time.” Aizawa said as he looked up at you from his reclined position on the sofa. “Hello to you too.” You smiled as you leaned down and pressed a kiss to his cheek, he smiled quickly catching your lips in a soft kiss. “Hey hey! What about me!?” You giggled at the voice before turning to the black cat it belonged to curled up on Aizawa’s chest cradling his face in your hands as you pressed a kiss to the top of his head. “Have you both been here the whole day?” You asked. “No.” Aizawa answered. “I had classes to teach today.” “So you’ve been like this since 3pm?” You asked. “I guess.” Aizawa answered. “Did you at least feed him?” You asked. “You know those biscuits are a complete diet right, there are some cats that would settle for just them.” Aizawa mumbled. “Yeah well I’m not one of them.” (Y/C/N) said as he stood his front legs stretched out in front of him as he stretched and you rolled your eyes walking into the kitchen and putting the meat down for him before walking back into the living room, Aizawa reached out a hand pulling you to lay with him when you were close enough. “Are you sure this is a good idea Shota?” You asked as you glance towards the entrance the loud feline would appear in when he was finished. “Mmm it’s fine.” He answered half heartedly as he continued to wrap you tighter in his arms, not 5 minutes later did you hear what you expected. “You two just cast me out after 5 minutes, you know I was coming back right?” He asked as hopped up on the sofa walking over your intertwined legs before finally settling on your back, you hummed as you shifted slightly to get more comfortable, you knew that you should all move, the bed was definitely more comfortable but staying here with the two most important beings in your life for some reason was more appealing so you didn’t move for now this would be fine.

Yamada Hizashi/ Present Mic

🎤 Again another who wasn’t affected by your cat talking, he however is not as happy about it as others. They literally argue all the time because let’s be honest Hizashi is like a big cat himself. 🎤 You were constantly breaking them up, they never tried to hurt each other but they would always complain about something that the other was doing. 🎤 You tried to split your time between them equally but they always had something to say about that too. 🎤 As they lived together more they learned to deal with each other better, they learned what set the other off and tried to avoid it when you were around.

Hizashi had been at work all day, you were in the kitchen cutting up meat, you put a small pile aside for (Y/C/N) as you started cooking up the meat for dinner, once it was all cooked you put his portion aside and continued cooking for you and Hizashi. “Smells good.” Hizashi said, his voice softer than most people get to hear it. “Thank you.” You smiled leaning back into him as he rested his forehead on your shoulder. “Long day? How are the kids?” “Fine, they’re fine.” He answered. “But…” You prompted him to continue as he lifted his head. “They didn’t come to UA to do english lessons, they get bored so easily, stop paying attention.” He explained and you chuckled. “You know, even for people who aren’t looking to become heroes, English lessons were boring, it’s just about making it interesting.” You said. “Don’t give him ideas he’s interesting enough.” Your bubble was shattered as the black cat jumped up on the counter top. “Do you mind? We are having a private conversation.” Hizashi scolded him. “Well then don’t have it in the middle of the kitchen.” (Y/C/N) muttered. “Would it have mattered if we were in the bedroom?” Hizashi asked. “I guess not.” He turned away and walked over to the plate where you had left the meat that you saved for him. “This for me?” “Yeah.” You answered, lifting the plate away from him “If I give you this will you leave us alone for a little while, you know it’s not your turn so don’t be a bother.” “Fine, fine.” He lifted his paw as if to pull your hand down to him. “Good.” You nodded, you put the plate back down before going back to your own dinner and finishing up what you needed to. “I’ve decided what movie to watch tonight.” He mumbled and you smiled. “Good, then let’s finish this food so we can watch a movie and you can relax yeah?” You suggested and you felt him nod rather then heard him but you both made small noises as (Y/C/N) made a noise of disgust in the back of his throat.

Hello Anon! Thank you so much for sending in your request and choosing me as the first person you sent a request to! Sorry it took a while to finish! I've been swamped by matchup requests lately (something I'm certainly not complaining about). I hope you like your headcanons!

I don't see Mirko as someone who seeks the feeling of peace a whole lot. Even though she has her unsatiable desire to fight, she's happy with herself.

Still, she appreciates the sense of peace her s/o's powers bring whenever she's around them.

She doesn't really know if her s/o's powers cause them to feel emotional pain themselves. She's asked a few times but her s/o's assurances that it's fine do little to ease her concerns.

Mirko is definitely one to do little things to make sure her s/o gets moments of peace as well. It can be stressful having heroes and villains constantly seeking you out just to get a taste of peace.

As long as her s/o says it's okay, Mirko won't have a problem with people approaching them asking for a hit of peace. If too many people approach her s/o or her s/o seems uncomfortable thought, it's a different issue.

Her main priority is always going to be the wellbeing of her s/o.

And if a villain kidnaps her s/o? Mirko's on a one woman mission to get them back.

Definitely craves peace. After everything he's been through, he needs some time to just relax.

Obviously this could go down a yandere path, but I'd rather go with the scenario where Dabi's s/o chose to be with him.

He feels so honoured that them chose him of all people to be with. Yes, the powers are a nice side effect, but Dabi's convinced his s/o's presence alone, powers or not, brings him a sense of comfort unlike any other.

Definitely protective of his s/o. It's not that he doesn't want others to feel peace. He couldn't care less about that! He's just worried that his s/o is going to leave him.

Doesn't matter if it's a hero or another villain that tries to take his s/o away from him, he's fighting for their freedom like his life depends on it.

He loves coming back to his s/o after a long day. Getting to spend time with the person he loves, and getting the benefit of their quirk easing all of his aches, pains, and worries is the best part of his day.

This guy is somewhere in between Mirko and Dabi.

Some days, he's completely fine. These are the days when he's more worried about his s/o's mental health than anything else.

Other days, his hero work gets too much and he just needs to destress. That's not to say Hawks doesn't still care about his s/o! He really does. He's just so tired.

Protective of his s/o, but no more than other heroes in committed relationships. If his s/o gets kidnapped, by either a villain or a hero goes rogue, he'll obviously get them back.

But he's not rushing in headfirst like Mirko would. He's been working on undercover cases for too long to do that. He'll infiltrate wherever his s/o's being held and break them out with as few casualties as possible.

Hawks doesn't want his s/o to carry any guilt about people getting hurt because of their powers. It also gives him a chance to isolate the person who kidnapped his s/o later and find out exactly why they did it. They'll be brought to justice. But he's doing it his way.

A side effect of his s/o's powers on Hawks is that when he gets relaxed, his feather fluff up. If he's really relaxed, he might make soft cooing noises. Just don't mention it. He gets embarrassed.

Doesn't necessarily think about the benefits of her s/o's quirk at first, but the first time she gets a hit of peace, she knows she needs more.

Gets addicted quickly to the feeling of peace. Izuku Midoriya? Who's he? The only person she has eyes for is her new s/o!

Another one who could really easily go down the yandere path.

Assuming her s/o chose to be with her though? She's the happies person in the world! Sometimes when she's under the power of her s/o's quirk and her racing mind is slowed, she wonders why her s/o chose her.

Her s/o's quirk dulls the urge to draw blood, maim, and kill, so Toga can't tell whether she completely likes it or not. She's gotten so used to the urges that without them, she almost doesn't feel like herself.

But her s/o is happy that they can do something to help her relax and Toga loves the floating feeling her s/o's quirk gives her so she's happy to keep hanging around them.

Has this man ever felt peace in his life? Probably not.

So when he first gets a hit of his s/o's quirk? Endeavour probably crumples to the ground. He's not entirely sure why his legs have just stopped working or why his shoulders feel so miraculously relaxed but he does know it's a feeling he could get used to.

I feel like some small part of Endeavour (especially in the more recent part of My Hero Academia) feels like he shouldn't be allowed to relax.

It's more than he deserves after everything he's put his family through.

So he probably wouldn't use his s/o's powers that much. Then again, he can't exactly stop them from using them if and when they chose.

If his s/o got kidnapped, he's assembling a team to take them down. Yes, he's one of the highest ranking heroes in Japan. Yes, he could take out the hero or villain who kidnapped his s/o by himself.

But he lives in the public eye. If everyone found out how much he cares about his s/o, more people would be coming after them.

He doesn't want to put his s/o in any more danger than they need to be.

Has forgotten what peace feels like honestly. He's been keeping up his persona of All Might for so long that he doesn't remember what it's like to just relax.

So incredibly grateful to his s/o! Anything they want, he's on it. Back rubs? Those muscles can be put to use for something other than fighting villains! A snack from their favourite café? He's pretty fast, he'll be back before his s/o knows it!

He feels it's the least he can do.

Unlike Endeavour, All Might has no worries about rushing in to protect or rescue his s/o. He knows that most of Japan probably knows about his relationship so there's no point in trying to hide how much he cares.

Might sneak into wherever his s/o's hiding in his weak form before breaking them out as "All Might".

He does have to be careful though. His s/o's powers revert him back to his weak form in an instant so they have to be very careful about when and where they use them.
