moving to the UK has made me develop an irrational fear of ordering take out
#i simply refuse to order at this point like here you go :#i was craving taco bell after ages and i got back from work at 11:45 p.m and placed an order. like literally they were gonna close in#2 mins. and so i wait and i'm so hungry and i open and it's meat. when i'm a vegetarian and i couldn't even order anything else because#it was already midnight#THEN i ordered taco bell in the afternoon next day and same fucking thing happened#THEN one time i was at work it was a long shift and every one of my supervisors know i'm a vegetarian#so they made sure to tell the guy who was serving food to get me the veg lasagna#and i take my food and go to the backroom and it looks suspicious and luckily my friend was around and i#made him take a bite and he was like yep it's meat#and so because of all of this bullshit instead of ordering take out i went to mcdonald's down the road recently#because i was like absolutely not. and i order a veggie burger. and peep in and check to see it's a green box before heading home#and me and b are sat watching gogglebox and i finish my fries and open this green ass box and lo and fucking behold#it's a meat burger. INSIDE a fucking green box that says veg on it#but i was craving mcdonald's badly so i ordered it online. and guess fuckin what. meat again#i basically stopped ordering food and just physically go out to places to eat#and today it's cold and i'm tired so i ordered food from a mexican place and it took two hours for them to#deliver the food#and it was legit supposed to be veggies beans and rice. and guess fucking what. they put meat in it#i can't even get my money back anymore because i've complained too much but what the fuck honestly#YOU keep sending me meat 😭😭😭😭😭#i'll just make some quick pasta and call it a day 😔✊#food mention

You Cook For them even though you suck at it-
Buggy, Luffy, Zoro, Usopp, Shanks, Mihawk
Buggy
Tumblr media
You you offer to cook for him he is hesitant. Buggy is actually a great cook and will take over making food for you if he catches you in the kitchens of the Big Top.
"I don't know about that (Y/N)-" He would say quickly as you smile at him.
"It will be fine I promise! I've gotten better!" No the fuck you hadnt- he shouldn't have trusted you with this when you set down a bowl of slop.
"Oh What the fuck (Y/N)!? What is this?! Why is it still moving?" He yelled poking some form of meat with a spoon and watching it twitch back.
"It's just rare!" You argue back. "Rare my ass!!" He yelled before forcing himself to take a bite.
He quite literally falls apart to the ground.
Luffy
Tumblr media
Luffy would be excited that you offered to cook for him. Being too happy to ignore the weird smell from the kitchen and from the bowl you set down.
He quickly tucked in, eating away at the bowl until it was gone and smiling brightly at you.
"Thank you for the meal (Y/N)!" He said cheerfully, you smiled excitedly.
"Did it taste good?" He stares at you for a moment like he was thinking. "No it was pretty disgusting" you stare at him shocked.
"Why did you eat it then?" You question at his bluntness of willing to eat something gross.
"Cause you made it!" Eh Good enough-
Zoro
Tumblr media
Is equally as bad as a cook as you- So when the two of you come together it only means chaos.
"Zoro im going make us a special meal!" You chime, watching him nod and follow along.
In the kitchen he drinks as he watches you attempt to cook. Even using his sword to cut up random vegetables and fruit. Once done it is a jet black color pouring out purple steam- He stares at it a bit afraid before taking a bite.
Zoro body would lock up- Like he had been hit with electricity. His eyes beginning to water and he grabbed the booze again to down if quickly- all of it very quickly.
"....That was awful-"
He manages to groan out as he rubbed his face.
Sanji
Tumblr media
Will be head over heals for you, and when you offer to cook for him his whole body freezes- His eyes wide and practically screaming to not have this done-
"M-My Love! My Sweet! No need for that I can cook for us!" He insist sweat hitting his brow.
"No No, You cook for us every night! Let me do it!" You'd insist and go into his kitchen. It would quickly turn into a battle of if he loved food more then you- Once he sees you hold the knife wrong and damn near cut off a finger he steps in.
Shaking his head at this and taking the knife from you.
"Please dont- Love you um.. are cookingly challenged- I'm taking over"
Before he kicks you out of his kitchen.
Usopp
Tumblr media
Usopp has actually pretty good taste in food, He enjoys food and has been heavily pampered by Sanji's cooking and food he be served when visiting Kaya.
So when you offer him food at first he's happy and talks about his experiences as a 'Chef' but when you bring down a half burned and half raw fish that still seemed to be twitching and some other odd trimmings that seemed to be stewed.
"Uhhh (Y/N)- you made this?"
He would question as he stared at the questionable plate.
"Yep!" Hearing your cheery voice he tries to sweet talk and lie his way around eating it at first. But once you insist he would nod and take a hefty bite. His face draining of all color as he chewed, forcing himself to swallow as he sits frozen.
"Usopp?-"
He ends up fainting-
Shanks
Tumblr media
Shanks will try anything once, however he found out early on that you couldnt cook- While he never openly confronts you about it he does know damn well you shouldn't be near a kitchen.
Once you offer to cook for him he is jovial as normal and supportive. However when you bring out the bowl of- what looked like what a sea beast would vomit he started to sweat. Taking a big swig of his booze before taking a bite.
His whole body shivered in disgust and paled. Slowly trying to chew as he gave you a watery smile.
"It's alright It's Alright-"
Shanks said, his face turning purple as he tried to keep the food from coming back up as quickly as it came.
Mihawk
Tumblr media
While it may be surprising but Mihawk is the pickiest of eaters- So when you say you made him a meal, He tries to hold himself back from making any comments before he's seen it.
'Maybe it's not that bad?...'
He thinks as he takes a seat at the dining room table. Waiting quietly as he hears you clattering in the kitchen- however he knew knew it would be unpleasant when the smell hits him. You step out cheery and happy as a massive bowl is set infront of him. His eyes widened at the sight- he had seen many horrible things in his life but nothing like this-
"Why is it that color?-" He would ask as you explained away that you didn't know the exact ingredients to make it so you improvised. Mihawk took a shaky breath and leaned down to give a sniff- once the fowl odor hit his nose he pushed the bowl back.
"(Y/N) Darling. You can't cook- I can't eat this... I love you dearly but whatever is in this bowl has been damned"

Tumblr media
Early Saturday morning, Bradley went out to play a round of golf with some of the guys. He had left you sleeping in bed, just pressing a soft kiss to your forehead before he left. He had promised you he would return around lunchtime and spend the rest of the day and the entire night with you.
He was getting close to his next deployment, and he had initially scoffed at the idea of forfeiting even a few hours of your day off together, but you had got on him about being more social. So he accepted the golfing invitation from Bob, Hangman and Coyote.
Turns out you were a genius, because he ended up having a great time playing golf, kicking back a few 'breakfast' beers and hanging out. Bob was the only good golfer in the bunch, so it didn't really matter that Bradley lost a few balls along the way and that he had to fudge his score on the 15th hole.
And now he was heading back home to you. When he unlocked the door and stepped inside, he audibly groaned. "Smells so good in here," he mumbled, taking in the sight before him. You were in the kitchen, wearing your I Love Meat apron that he bought for you randomly one day when he saw it. And you were surrounded by cupcakes, muffins, pies and brownies. One of your perfectly curated playlists was playing on your phone next to a stack of cookbooks.
Then it clicked. You had mentioned you needed time to work on things for the Navy's bake sale with the San Diego Children's Hospital. Apparently you volunteered for this fundraiser every year, and Bradley had promised you weeks ago that he would be your personal taste tester.
"I'm back, and I'm ready to work!" Bradley said as he kicked off his golf shoes and headed into the kitchen. "Give me stuff to sample."
"Hey, Roo. Did you have fun?" you asked, and he wrapped his arms gently around your waist from behind. He kissed the side of your neck as you unwrapped some sticks of butter. He thought you looked extra cute in your sweatpants and tee shirt with your hair piled on top of your head. And there was a smudge of flour on your cheek that he really wanted to take some time to kiss away.
You always made him feel like this. He couldn't figure out if he was more horny or more loved up. He wanted to romance you and tear your clothing to shreds at the same time. It was very confusing and oftentimes overwhelming, but he usually just went along with it.
"Yeah, golf was fun. Thanks for making me go," he whispered next to your ear. He didn't want to distract you too much, since you seemed to have a lot of baking to finish. "Can I help at all, Baby Girl? I know how to separate eggs now, remember? Or I'm more than willing to sample what you've made."
With a grin, you turned in his arms slightly and kissed his lips. "Want to try one of the brownies for me?" you asked, nodding your head toward a tray cooling on the island.
"Yep." He cut himself a large square and took a bite. Of course it was perfect. "So good, it brings tears to my eyes, Sweetheart," he mumbled around another bite.
"Good. Now try a blueberry muffin," you instructed him as you set two beautiful looking pies in the oven.
Bradley ate a muffin in three bites and moaned. "Delicious, Baby Girl. Can I try a cupcake?"
"Sure, they're cinnamon spice with cream cheese frosting," you said, but he'd already eaten half of one. And now you were mixing ingredients in a bowl with a wooden spoon, kind of dancing along to the music playing, and Bradley really couldn't help himself.
He stood behind you and kissed your neck again, letting his hands come to rest on your hips. "And what about this? Can I try a sample? It looks so pretty, I'd love to eat it."
You giggled and then gasped as Bradley slid his hands to the front of your hips, in between your sweatpants and your apron. He rubbed himself against your butt and you moaned, "What are you doing, Roo?"
He grinned into your hair and kissed your ear. "I heard you like meat."
You burst out laughing, and he was so happy he had bought you that apron. He loved making you laugh, and tried to make it a daily priority.
"I like your meat," you whispered, still laughing.
"Think you can take a little break, Sweetheart?" Bradley untied your sweatpants and slipped his hand inside the elastic band, caressing the soft skin of your belly. You tipped your head back against his shoulder as he drew little circles with his fingertips next to your belly button.
He let his fingers trail lower until they toyed with the top of your underwear. Your phone started playing I Only Have Eyes for You, and Bradley sang along.
'My love must be a kind of blind love,
I can't see anyone but you.'
You whimpered and spun in his arms so you were facing him. Now his fingers were kneading into your lower back. You looked up at him, and he was struck by the expression of desire on your face.
'Are the stars out tonight?
I don't know if it's cloudy or bright.
I only have eyes for you.'
"Bradley," you moaned, wrapping your arms around his neck and pulling him down to kiss you. You and he drifted slowly around between the kitchen counter and the island, dancing to the song. Your languid kisses were making him dizzy. The lazy way you moved him around the kitchen and the softness of your sighs was mixing with the sweet smell of baked goods.
Everything took on a hazy quality as Bradley untied your apron and tossed it gently aside. "I love you," he whispered before claiming your mouth again. Your fingers tangled gently in his hair, pulling softly on his scalp; Bradley was practically panting at your touch. He wrapped his arms around your waist until you were flush against the front of him. When his mind registered that you weren't wearing a bra, he groaned. He gazed down at you between kisses. A different song started playing, but his brain couldn't tell what it was. He couldn't focus on anything but you.
He watched your tongue flick out of your mouth, and you licked his chin and then his lower lip, and soon he was devouring you, pulling your lip between his teeth and nibbling. "Good enough to eat," he murmured as you pulled his golf shirt over his head.
You giggled as you ran your hands over his bare shoulders and chest. "I agree," you whispered, placing open mouthed kisses just below his collarbones before licking the scars on the side of his neck. Bradley's head tipped back as your fingers connected with the button of his golf pants, and when you guided them down his legs along with his boxer briefs, he had to bite his lip. You were placing gentle kisses to his thighs and along the length of his erection.
He hauled you up to your feet and wrapped his arms around you, backing you up against the counter. "God, Baby GIrl, you feel better than anything." He kissed you hard as your legs tangled with his, and he held you upright, delving his tongue into your mouth.
Bradley was dimly aware that you were pulling your shirt over your head, and he watched some strands of your hair fall around your face. You were gorgeous like this, your eyelids half closed as you bit your lip and looked up at him. He shook his head slowly, taking it all in.
When he guided your sweats and your underwear off, he wrapped his hands around the backs of your thighs and lifted you up, setting you gently on the edge of the counter. Your hands immediately went to his chest, and you yelped, but he wasn't going to drop you. Then you welcomed his lips back to yours as you scooted to the edge. Bradley could feel the warm wetness of your opening pressing against his length when you spread your legs open for him. He adjusted himself so you were perfectly lined up, and he wrapped your arms around his neck before wrapping his hands around your waist.
He kissed you gently, reverently as he pushed himself inside you. You sighed into his mouth and he moved in a slow, steady rhythm, in time with the sweet melody playing from your phone. He would remember this moment when he was deployed; he'd play it over and over again. Knowing he could come back home to this, to you, made everything okay.
You ran the tip of your nose along his cheek, kissing him there and whispering his name. Your voice spurred his movements, and he pushed himself into you harder and harder without picking up the pace. He watched your breasts bounce each time he bottomed out, and you tipped your head back, guiding his lips to your neck. He sucked on your soft skin, biting you and nuzzling against you. Then he soothed you with his mustache and his tongue. He only wanted to make you feel good.
He could feel you starting to squeeze him, so he slid his knuckles back and forth along your belly before settling his fingers on your clit. He gathered some of your wetness and teased you closer to coming. When he wrapped his other arm around your back and pulled you hard onto his length, you cried out, your voice breaking on his name.
Unable to control himself, he fucked into you with faster strokes, nearing his own end as you wrapped your legs around him, riding him to completion. Once you were both panting, and he was just thrusting his cum further into you as his thrusts slowed down, Bradley realized that the kitchen timer was going off.
"Sweetheart, what's the timer for?" he rasped next to your ear, nuzzling against you. He didn't want to pull out of you yet, but he needed to in order to reach the timer. He fumbled with it, distracted as his cum dripped from your pretty pussy and onto the counter.
"Umm," you hummed, biting your lip and running your hands through your very messy hair. "I ummm... the pies? I think I put pies in the oven?"
Bradley nodded and shoved your oven mitts onto his hands, he carefully pulled both pies out, setting them down gently on the stove burners. He turned to you, and you winced when you saw them. They both had slightly burned edges and very dark tops.
"I'll still eat them!" Bradley offered when he saw your face. "And I'll love them!"
You cradled your head in your hands and laughed. "This is because you're never quick, Bradley."
"Okay, okay," he said in mock-defense, tossing the mitts onto the counter. "You can complain about a lot of things when it comes to me, but do not complain about that, Baby Girl."
"It was merely an observation, Roo. Not a complaint," you said, giggling as he wrapped his arms around you and kissed you senseless.
Then after you cleaned up, he helped you bake two new pies while he ate one of the burned ones directly out of the pie pan with a fork.

The One with the Trifle Pt 2
part 1 here
A little while later, Robin and Eddie return, bringing the trifle with them. Argyle, thoroughly stoned, walks over to it, leaning down to stare at it eye level.
“Looks great, dude. What is it?”
“English trifle. I found this old cookbook in a thrift shop and thought it looked good. And there was no oven involved, so nothing is burnt this year,” Robin points the last question at Steve, glaring at him.
Steve presses his lips together, trying not to say anything bad. “Yep, nothing looks burnt.”
“Just wait until you taste it,” she excitedly goes on. “I tried everything separately and it was so good, so I’m excited to see what it tastes like all together.”
“What’re the layers?” Argyle asks, still staring at the dessert.
“Lady fingers, then jam, custard, that I made from scratch, raspberries, more ladyfingers, then beef sauteed with peas and onions. More custard, a layer of bananas, and then some whipped cream. Weird right?”
Nancy chokes on her drink. “Weird. What’s weird about it?”
“The beef. Everything else is so sweet it just seems out of place. But then I was like, there’s a mince meat pie. And pies are sweet, so this is just normal for them I guess.”
Eddie claps his hands, getting everyone attention. Totally not nervous about all of this. “Yeah, so normal. Is the rest of the food ready? I am starved.”
They all sit down at the table and have their dinner. The rest of the food is very good, no complaints there. They play cards and talk in between dinner and dessert, after everyone helps clean up of course. Eddie might convince Argyle to give him a joint, just to prepare a little bit. Also, he hates Thanksgiving, so it helps.
“Remind me again why you hate Thanksgiving,” Nancy asks after crushing them all in a round of poker.
“My dad liked to think that you couldn’t get arrested on holidays, which isn’t true. When I was nine, he stole a car, immediately got caught, then got arrested. Happened again when I was twelve. And then I think again when I was fifteen, but I was living with Wayne at that point. Every year, people get together to be thankful, while I get reminded of my dick of a father. Who is probably in jail again for doing something stupid.”
Jonathan winces. “That sucks, man.”
Eddie shuffles the cards. “Yeah. But my uncle’s great though. More of a father to me than my own father was. Would have invited him if he didn’t already have plans.”
They play a few more rounds, Eddie able to sneak in win when Nancy gets dealt a bad hand. Jonathan even wins once, even though he’s a bit confused at what game they’re really playing.
Then it’s time, and Robin starts to plate the trifle. Taking a big spoonful of all the layers and handing them to everyone. Finally sitting down with her own piece, with a huge smile. Steve takes a deep breath in preparation. Nancy gives Steve one last dead glare. One that says both “this is your fault” and “if you mess this up, I will kill you”.
Jonathan pokes around the plate with his fork, inspecting it. Argyle looks actually excited to eat this and Eddie is just twirling the fork around in his hand waiting for someone else to eat it first.
“Steve, I want you to take the first bite,” Robin says, ever so sweetly. With just a touch of malice in her voice. “Since you always doubt my cooking so much.”
Steve nods, pained. “Right. Yeah, of course.” He takes a forkful of the trifle, skirting around the beef.
“You missed a whole layer there. I want to make sure you eat all of it.” Robin smirks at him. Steve can’t tell if it’s because she’s hiding something or because she’s made about his earlier comments. Mind too filled with the anxiety over eating this.
Steve stares at the dessert before his eyes, taking a deep breath before giving Robin a pained smile. Then eating the trifle, trying his hardest not to gag. “It’s great, Rob,” he says, trying to swallow. “So good.”
“Alright, now the rest of you.”
Nancy takes a breath before just shoving a forkful in her mouth. Looking like she barely chews before swallowing it. Jonathan eats it like anything else, looking partially confused, but taking a moment to register what all the flavors are. Argyle just keeps eating it.
Eddie doesn’t eat it at all.
“Steve’s right, probably the best thing you’ve made,” Nancy acts better than Steve did. “You should send me the recipe.”
“Yeah, dude,” Argyle says, plate now half empty. “This is really good.”
Robin bursts out laughing, causing the rest of the table to look at her. “I can’t believe you actually ate it. Oh my God.”
“What?” Steve says, half choking on the water he was drinking.
“I didn’t actually think that beef belonged in the trifle. Do you all really think I’m that dumb?”
Jonathan looks up from his plate, eyes squinted. “What’s going on?”
Argyle leans over. “Not sure but Robin’s laughing a lot.”
Robin stands up, taking her plate and throwing her piece in the trash. “Hold on a second.”
Eddie stands after she leaves, taking his own plate and throwing out his untouched piece of the trifle. “I need you all to know, that I had no idea about this before today. And if it weren’t for Nancy making fun of the way I slice green beans-.”
“Because no one slices green beans that way,” Nancy exclaims.
“I do,” Eddie says dramatically. “Wayne has done it for me that way since I was a kid and wasn’t the biggest fan of green beans. If you want them cut a certain way, you should tell people.”
Nancy pauses. “That is a good point. I’m sorry for getting mad at you.”
“Thank you.” Eddie sees Jonathan and Argyle still eating the not real trifle. “Oh guys, you don’t have to eat that. It was a prank.”
“What?” Jonathan asks, still not sure what’s going on.
Argyle leans over again. “This was a prank, we don’t have to eat this anymore.”
“But it’s dessert.”
“Yeah, but not the real dessert.”
Jonathan is not putting the pieces together. “Where’s the real dessert then?”
“Don’t know, man. It isn’t here yet.”
Nancy stands, taking the two plates in front of them. “I’m just going to move these.”
“Jesus, dude, how much did you smoke?” Steve asks, finally throwing his food away.
Robin comes back into the apartment with another trifle in her hands, this one beef free. She places it in the center of the table, smiling maniacally. “This is the real trifle.”
The real trifle looks exactly like a picture of one would. Layers of lady fingers, jam, custard, and fruit. All perfectly even, with not a speck of beef in sight.
“That,” Nancy starts, still in shock, “looks really good.”
“I know, right.” Robin sits back down in her seat. “And it really wasn’t that hard either. The only thing that I had to make myself was the custard, which was actually pretty easy.”
“I knew that’s not how cookbooks worked,” Steve says annoyed, glaring at Eddie.
Eddie shrugs, “It was part of the bit.”
Argyle stares at the new trifle. “I think you’re missing a layer there, dude.”
“No, she added an extra layer before,” Eddie explains. “This one is the correct one.”
“If you say so.” Argyle leans back into the chair, still skeptical.
The real trifle is dished out and eaten pretty fast. Everyone apologizing to Robin for doubting her. She sits with a smug look on her face for the rest of the night.

I put a spell on you (König x Reader)
Tumblr media
Summary: After a rough day König found himself in the middle of the woods with a bleeding arm and in front of a mysterious woman.
Warnings: Smut (p in v)
A/N: Hi :D Here's part two. I'm really grateful for the likes. I must confess that I would like to being able to write more for this story, but in a couple of days I will start an ultrasound course and I don't know if I would have time to write :( Anyway I hope you all like it and sorry if there are any mistakes. Enjoy!
Part 2/2
┏┓┗┛┏┓┗┛┏┓┗┛┏┓┗┛┏┓┗┛┏┓
He was back where it all started, alone in the cabin with his thoughts. He could feel his emotions running wild, his mind full of questions and anxious thoughts.
"(Y/N)..." He whispered, looking around once more to the cabin. His eyes caught the rabbit sitting on the fire, cooking slowly. It looked delicious, but the sight of it made him feel even more suspicious.
At that moment something had struck in his mind, an idea. He walked towards the rabbit and picked it up. "Should I eat something she prepared?" He said to himself, staring at the rabbit. But he had already eaten two whole bowls of vegetable broth and was still alive. She seems like a sweet and kind woman. If she wanted to hurt him, she would had done it when he was unconscious. Why would she take the time to take care of his wounds and prepare delicious food for him?
"I'm just overthinking things." He said in a low voice, holding the rabbit, it was ready to be eaten. He sat back on the bed and took a look at the rabbit. It smelled delicious and he could feel his hunger growing with every second that passed. "I shouldn't waste this tasty rabbit." He muttered, cutting into the rabbit and taking a bite.
Several minutes later she had returned with the same shy smile on her face. “It looks like you liked the rabbit.” She said looking at the almost empty plate over his legs. He nodded, smiling back at her awkwardly with a mouthful of rabbit meat. His mind was still racing, but her presence had a calming effect on his stress.
"It was delicious." He said, looking down at the plate and trying to hide his embarrassment at being caught eating the rabbit. He also realized something else, maybe eating that rabbit and being fine was the confirmation he needed. (Y/N) couldn't be a witch, she might just be a lonely kind woman living alone in the woods. And he couldn't help but feel bad for doubting her earlier.
“I'm glad you liket it.” She smiles tenderly at him. She was grateful that he have forgotten about the abrupt break of the jar. She knows perfectly that she couldn't be able to hide her secret for so long. She needed to make him leave as fast as she could.
"This place is a paradise." He suddenly said, looking around the cabin and relaxing. It looked so welcoming, so warm and cozy. The food was delicious, and he was sure that it had actually been the best food he had tasted in his life. "Were you lonely the years you lived here? I mean, before I came." He asked, his voice full of curiosity. But also a bit of guilt at her situation; he felt like he had saved her in a way, from a lonely life in the woods. It was a weird feeling.
“Yep. Just me. And I like it that way.” Her answer make him feel like an idiot. Of course she enjoyed her life as it was. He was just an intruder in her peaceful life. Maybe she was expecting that he leave when his injuries where healed. And if he could be able to stay… Does he will accept a life like this? This was so different at anything he had known.
His thoughts of leaving were immediately shattered by (Y/N)'s response. She seemed so content with her life, almost like she wanted to be there in the cabin all alone. He looked down at his plate, realizing that he had almost emptied it. He thought that he should make some effort to share with his host, it was the least he could do after all she had done for him. "(Y/N), do you mind if I stay a few more days?" He said, staring down at the rabbit, too embarrassed to look at her.
She looked at him and bite her lip doubting. She couldn't be able to hide her secret for so long if he stayed with her. But she couldn't just kick him out. The military had kicked him out and probably he doesn't have somewhere to go. After a couple of seconds she answered. “You can stay. I don't mind having company.”
Her answer was like a ray of sunshine breaking through a gloomy sky. It was impossible that she could understand how much he needed to hear those words. "Thank you (Y/N), you have no idea how much I needed to hear that." He said, looking back at her with a grateful and genuine smile. "And don't worry, I'll try and help you as much as I can with the chores before I have to leave." He added, looking around the cabin and wondering if there was anything that he could do to help her.
She smiles tenderly at his eagerness to be helpful. “Don't worry about that. You need to rest to heal your injuries. So just lay down and rest as much as you need.”
He couldn't believe his ears. (Y/N) was allowing him to rest without doing anything, not even chores at least. He was feeling guilty just thinking about it. She could at least let him help her. "(Y/N), I think the minimum I could do is help you with some of the chores" He said, looking up at her, his voice almost pleading. "I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if I just rested on bed while you're doing all the work."
She giggles. “I’m used to do all the work by myself. So don't worry. You need to rest, maybe tomorrow if you feel better you may be able to help me.” She seemed to insist that he had to rest which could only mean one thing: she was hiding something. He refused to accept the excuse that she was 'used' to do all the work. If she was going to allow him to stay in her cabin, he had to help out in some way.
"I feel fine. I just have some pain on my arm but it's nothing that I can't handle." He said, forcing himself to get out of the bed. As expected, the moment he got up his arm started to hurt. "Ow..."
“I told you.” She said walking next to him and force him to lay down again. Her proximity, the soft pressure of her hands over his chest, her eyes… Everything about her make him nervous. “Just rest for today. Don't worry. I'll be outside if you need something.” As much as he wanted to protest again, he knew his attempt would be wasted against her persistence. She looked at him and he was completely mesmerized by her eyes once more. It was impossible to say no to her.
"O-okay, I'll rest then." He said in a weak voice, trying not to look at her directly. "Please, don't be far. I mean, I'm not feeling well to be alone." He added without really thinking.
She chuckled at his words. “A big ex-soldier scared of being alone… That's cute.” She said and leave the cabin.
He didn't dare to tell her what he really thought, and he could only smile at her kind words which only made her more lovely in his eyes. But he couldn't ignore what he was feeling, and it wasn't fear. It was something else, an attraction towards (Y/N). He couldn't explain it to himself, but that feeling of being close to her, under her care, was the best he had felt in a long time. His body was sending him some signals as well, signals he had tried to ignore his whole life but were now becoming impossible to miss.
He look by the window and could see her working on her garden. Everything about her was mesmerizing. It was like he was in a kind of spell. But he didn't complain, not with the beautiful goddes he was enrapted with.
Time seemed to slow down as he looked at her working. Her every movement was beautiful, even the simplest things like picking up a flower in her garden had a grace that made his heart skip a beat. Not only that, but there was also a warmth in (Y/N)'s demeanor, a sweetness that made it impossible for him to resist her. Her presence was calming, making him forget about his past and all the suffering he had endured.
Tiredness take him and he had fallen asleep. When he wake up again, it was dark outside. Over the table was a candle and a cup of tea, but she was out of sign. He sits on the bed and that's when he saw her outside the cabin about to enter the woods. He took a deep breath and stretched, his arm not hurting as much as earlier that day. He decided to get up and see what (Y/N) was doing. His curiosity was getting the best of him. He wanted to know more about her.
Quickly he take his gun and get out of the cabin. He start to walk where she has gotten. It was difficult walk through the forest without seeing a thing. He hope not to lose himself. He was walking cautionesly with his gun raised. But then something caught her attention. Just like the night before a soft light appear. A bonfire.
He felt a hint of panic rush through his body. He had known that something was definitely off about (Y/N), who knew what dangers she could be hiding. He walked towards the bonfire with his gun ready to fire at any moment. "(Y/N), please show yourself. I know you're around here somewhere." He said, not being so sure about his words. He couldn't believe the situation he had gotten himself into, and he really thought about just leaving and forgetting the whole situation.
But his curiosity had won and there was no way back.
Then she appeared from behind a tree… “Why did you follow me?” She asks, not flinching a bit when he points his gun at her. The light from the bonfire barely illuminating them.
She startled him, even if he had been expecting her to appear at some point. Her voice seemed cold and hard, like that of a soldier who had no room for weakness. But she also seemed so confident, almost fearless.
His mouth was dry, so he was having a hard time answering her question. "I- I... you looked suspicious..." He answered almost trembling, trying to look brave in front of her but failing miserably. He had to ask. "What are you hiding?" He asked with little strength in his voice.
A big elite soldier scared of a tiny woman? If she was a real woman at all.
She sighed. “You want to know the truth?”
He nodded at her, trying to calm the nervous feeling in his body. "I need to know, please." He said, his voice sounding desperate. He tried to get a better look at her, but the light of the bonfire was too weak for him to make anything out properly. "Tell me the truth, (Y/N)." He said, his voice almost sounding like a whisper.
“I'm a witch.” She said simply. Like it was the most normal thing in Earth.
"Y-you're a w-witch?!" He said, his eyes widening in disbelief and his voice even more shaking. He couldn't believe his ears, what was he supposed to do? He couldn't shoot her... or could he?
His fear was overwhelming, but also there was something else, something he had never felt before. An attraction towards the witch standing in front of him, the same witch that had healed his wounds and taken care of him. "What... what do you mean?"
She sighed again and then the flames of the bonfire increased surprisingly. He take a few steps back in shock and fall to the ground. “Is that enough prove for you?” She asked and then the flames returned at his calm state.
He felt like the world had turned upside down. His shock was so overwhelming that he found himself on the floor, his heart racing in his chest. He was trying to find words, but his mind felt empty and overwhelmed simultaneously. "W-what kind o-of magic do you have?" He asked, his voice sounding faint. It was the only question that he could think of at that moment.
“There is no such thing as good or bad magic. It's just magic. It's up to the witch to decide how to use it.” She explain looking at him laying in the ground, dying from nervousness. “Please, don't be afraid. I'm not going to hurt you.”
He didn't know what he was more, scared or amazed at the sight in front of him. His body was trembling, he felt like his whole perception of reality had been turned upside down. "But... I thought... witches could only be evil." He said, his voice still sounding faint. Then it hit him. He was looking at a witch, a beautiful woman witch, and he didn't feel afraid of her. In fact, he felt... attracted to her. He could barely believe it.
She chuckled. “That's just a tale every mom says so their kids would behave.” She kneel next to him on the ground. “Aren't you afraid, right? I promise I'm not going to hurt you.”
His mind was a mess. He had been told his whole life that witches were evil and a threat to society, the kind of people that shouldn't be trusted under any circumstances. But here he was next to a beautiful, kind witch. He knew his fear was still there, but he didn't feel any of it at the moment. "What about the tales of witches eating people? Or transforming people into frogs?" He asked, his voice still sounding weak. "Or what about love spells? Have you used them on me?" He added, his face becoming red, embarrassed by his own question.
She couldn't help but laugh at his questions. “Well actually… Do you remember the vegetable broth I made for you? The one you ate two bowls? Well... You will turn into a worm in five minutes.” She said playfuly and laugh again. “I'm kidding. That happen just in child tales.” She shake her head still smiling. “And don't worry, I didn't put a love spell on you.”
He couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief when she told him it was just a joke. A sigh that quickly turned into laughter as he realized that his fear had been overcome by him being completely attracted to (Y/N). Her presence was so calming and relaxing, it was impossible for him to feel anything other than attraction and desire. "W-what if I want you to put a love spell on me?" He asked, his smile almost becoming a smirk as he looked directly at her.
She stops laughing and looks up at him with a tender smile. He could swear there was a hint of blush on her cheeks. “I don't think that's necessary.”
His heart almost skipped a beat, this time for a good reason. Her tender smile made him feel as if all the air had suddenly been taken away from him. "No love spells then?" He asked, unable to hide his disappointment. He just had to take the risk of making a move on her, he had to know if she was feeling the same way about him.
She shake her head. “No love spells. That's not my style.” Then she sits in the grass next to the bonfire. “You should come back to the cabin. I wil stay here for a moment. It's new moon.”
It felt like a small heartbreak for him, but he was too happy being next to the beautiful witch. And he felt something else... the connection was strong, deeper than what he had imagined. "Sure, I'll go back to the cabin." He said, getting up slowly, still a bit weak. "Just be careful out here. It's not safe." He said, trying to hide his concern under that tone of worry.
“Don't worry. I'll be safe. I can take care of myself.” She smiled at him. But he couldn't forget the question he wanted to ask her. "(Y/N), how do you feel about me?" He asked nervously, his voice sounding small and meek.
She blush at his question. “Well… You seems like a really nice man and I don't know how to explain it but I feel a weird connection with you. Witch things.” She point to her left. “That way is the cabin. And don't worry you wouldn't lose yourself. The forest will take care of you and lead you safe to the cabin.”
He couldn't help but smile at her answer, especially when she brought up the connection he could also feel. It was nice to know that it wasn't only on his end but hers as well. "Witch things." It sounded romantic, like something out of a fairy tale. He started to walk back towards the cabin. Every step he took he could feel the connection getting stronger. "So this is how love feels like huh?" He said to no one in particular, his voice sounding dreamy.
Maybe she had put a love spell on him after all.
He continue walking until he saw the cabin. She was right, he had arrived without trouble. It was still a bit early in the night for him to go to sleep. But he was also dying to see (Y/N) again. He decided to wait sitting on the couch and looking out the window. He was hoping to catch her arrival, but he might have waited for too long and maybe fell asleep and dreamed about her. It was only when he woke up at the middle of the night that he realized that (Y/N) was still not back with him. He stand up from the couch and walk to the door. Maybe something had happened to her. He take a few steps and stops right in front of the woods. ‘The forest will take care fo you.’ He remembered her word before entering the woods.
It was dark, really dark, but it was as if he was being led into the forest. It was like the darkness itself was moving him forward, trying to guide him towards the place he needed to be at. He felt an eerie sense of peace all around him, almost as if he was not alone. The sense of connectedness he had felt the whole night was now stronger than ever.
Finally he could see the soft light of her bonfire at the distance. He approach slowly and cautiously to not scare her. She was standing in front of the bonfire, her white dress was laying in the grass. And she was dancing slowly, moving her hips sensually. The sight of her naked form make him nervous again, but not like the first time he had caught her. This time he feel enraptured by her moves.
His breath was taken away. The sight of her dancing naked with the firelight over her body. She was more beautiful than ever. He couldn't look away, and he didn't want to. He was completely bewitched by her, like he was being dragged towards her by an invisible force. He felt his heart race and his blood boil, almost getting out of control by the sight of her. She was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen, and he was feeling a desire he had never felt before.
The dim light, the atmosphere of the place, everything seems to make her dance more spectacular.
He couldn't believe his eyes, the scene was almost magical itself. He felt completely mesmerized by her. His mind was getting cloudy, the desire consuming everything else. He wanted to have her in all the possible ways. He imagined himself running towards her and just kissing her until they couldn't breathe anymore. But he felt he needed to stop himself, (Y/N) was way out of his league. And he just couldn't handle the rejection right now. He was like a teenager in love getting the first time, a feeling that he had never experienced before.
Then her feet leave the ground as she started to float. This time he wasn't scared, he was just amazed at the ethereal, magical and beautiful woman in front of him.
He could only watch in awe, his breathing getting even faster. He wasn't sure what else to do as (Y/N) kept floating higher and higher in the air, moving slowly as if she was dancing in the sky. In that moment, she was the most beautiful and magical thing he had ever seen. So he could only look, and keep looking, his eyes glued on (Y/N) and her dance in the air.
A couple of minutes later where she was moving slowly in the air, she starts to come down to the ground again. Her eyes were closed and she have a cute smile on her face.
He approached her slowly as she started to come down towards the ground. He wondered if he should say something, but he was too mesmerized by her dance in the air to think of anything. Still he felt the need to tell her how beautiful she looked. He tried to speak, but the words wouldn't come out of his mouth, almost as if he had lost the ability to speak. But then he found the courage, if he could call it that. "You're incredibly beautiful." He said and the words immediately sounded inadequate.
She jump scared and turn around, kneeling quickly to grab her dress an cover her naked body. The bonfire went out instantly. “You scared me. What are you doing here?” She said and raise her hand, then the bonfire turn on again, but this time it was a soft flame.
He looked away the moment he saw that her body was now being covered by her dress. It felt as if he had broken the magic and charm of the moment. But still, her dance in the air was something he would never forget. "I- I was looking for you, I thought something had happened to you." He said, trying to act tough but his words just sounded like that of a scared boy. "And you're the most beautiful thing I have ever seen." He added, his words getting even more soft the moment he said them.
She couldn’t help but blush at his words. She turn around and quickly put her dress on, giving him a quick peek of her ass. He started to blush as he got a peek of her ass, it had lasted barely a second, but it felt like a lifetime to him. Then she turn around full dressed, but the thin fabric wasn't enough to erase the image of her naked body off his mind. “T-Thank you. We should came back to the cabin, it's late.”
"Sure, let's head back." He said with a bit more confidence now, but his face was still red. "Before we go, I just wanted to ask you something." He said, trying to regain the courage he had before.
She take a few steps and stops, turning around at him. “What is it?”
He felt like he was about to burst into flames, but he gathered all of his courage, and then spoke. "Do you think we could... kiss?" The words were spoken in a soft, quiet and almost begging tone. But at that moment, he wanted nothing else in the world but to kiss her. He couldn't stop thinking about her eyes and lips, they drove him crazy. But she was way out of his league... or was she? He just couldn't know, so the only thing left to do was ask.
She opened her eyes in surprise. The bonfire went out again, letting them in the dark. He take a few steps closer to her and she didn't move. Her heart was beating faster than ever before. Her mother had told her that when she will find her soulmate she will feel a strong conection between them. And that was exactly what she was feeling right now.
He could almost hear his heart beat. His breathing was getting heavier and heavier as he got closer to the beautiful witch in front of him. He was close enough to touch her, he could even feel her body heat. There was nothing else in the world, just her....
His lips were almost touching hers, and all he could think about was what would happen if his mind was mistaken and he had the wrong idea about everything that was happening. "(Y/N), can I..." He said in a soft almost shy tone, still being unable to finish his words.
She didn't answer, at least not with words. She move her head closing the distance between them and their lips finally touch in a soft gente kiss. She could feel her insides exploding.
All the anxiety, fear and insecurity that he had felt before left his body in one single kiss. He closed his eyes and let himself fall deeper into the kiss. He needed more, he wanted her. And he would do anything to get her. He pushed the beautiful witch against a tree and passionately kissed her again, his hands roaming her body searching for what they wanted. But he had to control himself... he could not go too far. But at this moment, he wanted nothing else but to lose himself in her kiss.
She couldn't help but let out a soft moan as he push her against the tree. Her arms wrapping around his neck as the kiss deepens. He enjoyed the soft noise that left her beautiful lips, it drove him crazy. It made him want her even more, to have her in every possible way. He lowered her onto the grass, his hands running through her soft hair. With one of them he gently caressed her cheek. He wanted this moment to go slower, but it was almost impossible to not go faster. She was too hot, too beautiful, too perfect.
The moon light barely let her see his features, the intensity of his gaze. She could see lust, desire… Love. He wanted her and she wanted him as well. This is the conection her mother had talked about. The conection you only can be able to feel with your soulmate. And it was more intense than she expected. She could feel every part of her body begging for him. Her heart was beating so fast against her chest.
He was so caught up in the moment he felt as if he was losing control of his thoughts, all he was seeing was (Y/N). He got close to her lips. Her eyes, her beautiful eyes. She looked nervous, and that excited him. He wanted her to feel the same way he felt. All he wanted at the moment was to touch her, feel her, kiss her. He wanted (Y/N) and he was getting her, it was finally happening. He didn't care about anything he just wanted her.
She could feel his hands running up her legs taking the fabric of her dress and lifting it up. “W-Wait.” She whispered, she was nervous about it. She knows full well that this is the way to finally seal their connection. She wasn't even looking for a man right now. His arrival had been a coincidence… Or maybe destiny. Maybe they have found eachother at the right time.
His heart shattered into a million pieces as he paused his actions. They had found eachother, and it felt like they had already known eachother longer than tonight. But he shouldn't force his feelings on her, that was what he thought. His eyes were still looking at hers, trying to understand what was going on. His hands slowly letting go of her dress. He looked away, unable to look at her, he had never felt so weak and vulnerable before.
“I'm sorry… I-I'm just… Nervous.” Despite the dark of the night he could see the blush in her cheeks. “It's the first time I'm doing this.” She confess biting her lip. Her mother had always told her to find a man she could trust, someone loyal. Just like her father. And she knows that he was that man, her intuition say it over and over again since the first time he looked at her and didn't run away.
He wasn't sure what to say or how to respond. He felt nervous too, his body was shaking a bit and his heart was racing at a speed it had never gone before. Still he wanted to be with her, he still wanted to kiss and caress her. He could only look at her, not sure what to do next. "I still want you." He said, looking into her eyes. "But if you don't feel like it... I understand." He said quietly, he was too deep in everything that was happening to think clearly.
She hold his shoulders firmly. “N-No. I want to. Just be gente.” She said in a soft voice, almost a whisper but he could heard it perfectly. He felt a smile appear on his face despite the night darkness.
"Of course." He said in a whisper, this moment was all he ever wanted it. "Kiss me." He whispered, unable to contain his desire anymore. He wanted her, this moment was perfect and he had to take advantage of it. He wanted her, he wanted to kiss her, he wanted to be with her. No moment was too perfect but the one he was living right now. She take his cheeks and pull him down, kissing him slowly. The soft grass under her tickling her body and the soft caressed of him make her shiver. She had never felt something like this in her life. He let (Y/N) take control of the situation. He enjoyed her kiss, tasting her lips, feeling her soft tongue exploring his body. His feelings for (Y/N) were too intense to even notice anything else.
(Y/N)'s warm touch drove all the fear out of his body and his heart beat to the rhythm of her soft kisses.  All he wanted was to embrace her once more, his body was begging him for more. His hands move again up her legs lifting the fabric of her dress just above her thighs and slowly one of his hand make its way between her legs, touching her gently. She whimpered breaking the kiss and close her eyes.
He moaned slightly at the touch, she was so soft and was starting to get wet. His fingers moved carefully all over her pussy. He was enjoying too much this moment, he wasn't able to control himself any longer. He took his hand away from between her legs and gently kissed her lips once more. His hands then started to move to her breasts, touching her above the fabric of her dress, he could feel her heart beating. Slowly he pull down the suspenders of her dress, while kissing her neck and shoulders. His lips following the way of her dress down her chest, revealing her breasts. He was lost in her beauty and move his lips to take one of her nipples sucking it gently, making her moan and squirm under him.
He wanted to take her right there, with the moon above and the night sky. There was no other place he wanted to be than with (Y/N).
Then she heard the sound of his belt, she tenses for a moment and hold his shoulders. He releases his grip on her sensible nipple and kiss her lips again, easing her nerves. His hands lifting the fabric of her dress abover her waist and he positioned himself between her legs. He looked at her eyes and smiled again, this time without any shyness. He felt a confidence that was not present before and he knew at that moment that this was the right thing to do. His breath got heavier and he placed both of his hands on her hips, still smiling.
She bite her lip and nodded, an almost imperceptible movement of her head, but was enough for him. He move down his hand and take his dick… Slowly he push inside her, trying to control his impulses. She moan and arch her back, holding firmly his back.
His heart started to beat even faster than before when he felt himself connecting with (Y/N). His eyes widened a bit, but soon he looked confident again. This was what he wanted, this was right. He had never felt so much desire in his life, never in his mind could he imagine he could want someone so much. He felt (Y/N) as an extension not only of his body but also of his mind and heart.
He start to move slowly but with every thrust and moan of her his control start to dissapear. He hold firmly the grass under them and increases his pace. He went harder now, not being so delicate with his movements. He didn't care about control at the moment. The first hard thrust make her almost cried out. She continue holding thightly his back as he keep moving faster inside her. The confidence he was showing make her body shiver under him. She can't hold on the sinful sounds that were getting out of her mouth.
His eyes got wider and wider, he had never thought it could feel like this. His body was taking a life of its own, just wanting more and more. He could feel (Y/N)'s body, he was so close to her that he could feel every movement she made, he knew what she felt and wanted to do to her all day and night. His mind was only thinking about her, his lips wanted to kiss, his body wanted her and his mind couldn't stop thinking of her. He was losing control of everything else.
This was better than any love spell she had put on him. He was making her his like a mad man. She was like a drug he was addicted to, something he needed to live, like the air on his lungs. An she… She can't explain what she was feeling. Her mind was fogged. She was focussed in the hard thrusts, the intensity of his gaze, his grunts and groans. Everything about him was perfect for her.
He was completely lost in the moment, it felt as if there were only two bodies and two souls in that instant. It was as if he was living in a dream filled with sin and pleasure. He wanted to kiss her lips again, to taste her and hear the sounds she let out when they kissed. He didn't hold anything back, he moved even faster, his body urging for more and more. He felt as if he could die in that instant but it wouldn't be bad, it would be perfect.
She wrap her legs around his waist as he continue his fast movements. She start to feel a pressure in her lower abdomen. “König…” She moaned, hiding her face in his neck. He knew what was coming, and he was ready for it. He wanted to make her night perfect, all of her body belonged to him right now and he could not be more sure of his words.
He started the movements that would bring (Y/N) to her climax, wanting her to feel as good as she made him feel. He was breathing heavy now and a drop of sweat fell from his forehead. He knew she would be his for the rest of his life. Her legs tensed as she reach her climax. A high pitched moan left her lips and she hold him even tighter as he let herself go. Wave after wave of pleasure taking her body.
He felt her legs tense around him and her voice as she reached her climax. He felt all the pressure of holding back gone and his body surrendered. His grunts and moans filled their surroundings as he released all the pressure he had built up inside him. He was feeling better than any high, better than any feeling he could've experienced. But he wanted to keep on feeling it, there was no time to waste.
He kissed (Y/N) with all the passion he had collected, letting himself go as well.
She kissed him back as best as she could. Her body was tired, she feel like she could pass out at any moment. The intensity of their passionate encounter have make her saw starts. It have been more intense than any of her ritual where she feel one with nature. This time she had been one with him. Her soulmate.
When all of it was over, and their lips parted one more time. He could only caress her beautiful body, his hand gently touching her hips and legs. He looked at (Y/N)'s eyes, and her beautiful face. She was perfect, he couldn't believe that she was his.
His body was exhausted, he could barely move, but he knew he didn't want to move. "(Y/N)..." He whispered as soon as he was able to articulate words again. She was still in a state of bliss and pleasure and couldn't say anything, just a small smile appear on her face before she finally close her eyes. The smile was more than enough for him, he knew at that moment that he couldn't have asked for more. He felt peace in his heart and his whole body relaxed. He could see the moonlight hitting (Y/N)'s beautiful face and he felt as if he was living in a dream. His head had to be playing tricks on him, this was too perfect. He wanted to be in this moment forever.

"As a thank you? Haaa…it's alright let's eat it together shall we?"
ruggie
I know he is not a vice dormleader but at this point he should be💀
When he was running errands for a certain lazy lion he saw a cat eating half a slice of meat.
it was stolen from ace-(〃⌒⤙⌒)ゞ
He was gonna keep walking until the feline put the meat in front of him.
Now he has eaten strange things and flowers but he was not gonna eat a slab of meat that was on the sidewalk. ( •̀ - •́ )”
He tapped you on the head and scratched your ears♡♡♡♡💖💖
Until Ace came running ( T ^ T )
"Y/NNNNNN!!!! GIVE ME THE MONEY FOR THE MEAT YOU TOOK!!!!"
hm..? Y/n Shishishi that's just a cat-
You meow at him again….omg that is y/n?
Lowkey he would have left you because he is a busy hyena, but for the sake of the hc he will take care of you!! (ˊᗜˋ )
Lending a paw!!!
A pro with ruggie is that you get cool things the con is that you have to work with him 24/7 (˵ˊᯅˋ˵)
More like co workers than friends 😒
But!! You do get to snatch a few things off leonas credit cards<3
(Yall can be thieves together)
I may or may not rat yall out 🤫
He would spray you with water if you're bad(.•́ ᎑ •̀.)
Mama ruggie!! (My mum use to spray me with water too^^)
He would give you an old shoe lace to play with!♡
Class time!!!
He wouldn't carry you to class💔
He claims it's because you got paw and they aren't broken so you can walk yourself;;
He would honestly let you do whatever in class but make sure to stay in the classroom!
(He doesn't wanna lose you💚💚)
In the spell drive club he would put you on the disk💀
You probably got trauma after that…
He would apologize though ♡♡♡♡
Dinner time kittys!!!
He would not get cat food for you
He says it costs too much, why need cat food if you can eat the same thing?
I think he ate cat food one time(˶ᵔᴗᵔ˶)
Yall would eat meats so if you ate vegetarian then okay he will give you veggies instead💚💚
But if you're not Vegetarian then it's too bad to eat it, idc that it's fatty meat???EAT THE MEAT Y/N!!!
You eat wherever ruggie eats his dinner
Goodnight little kitty!!!
No
No extra cat beds
Why have another cat bed when you can use his?🤨
-that's not a good excuse-
He sleeps like a rock, so there isn't anyway to wake him up once he's asleep^^
Once yall got on the bed yall the work from today hit in full blast before you knew it you were asleep,Yet you woke up.
The moon was shining gently in the endless sky,the sun was shining elsewhere to bless others with joy.You turn to see a sleepy hyena with dirty blonde hair. He looks so peaceful,as if the thought of not waking tomorrow didn't bother him; you wobble past the sheets and lay against his back, lucky for you ruggie doesn't move much in his sleep.
He would pay you awake the next morning<3
A little kitty turning into a cat!!
He is upset kitty y/n is leaving (ᗒᗣᗕ)՞
(Mostly because he would make you pickpocket students on campus and you helped him take care of leona)
Would ask in you have to become human again
Like???? Yeah I kinda have to😃
After a 30 minute talk (you were just meowing there) He had decided it was for the best!
……........
"Ah there you are prefect!"
…..!.....
"No need to be scared,I'm not rook.Sayyyyy y/n Sam is holding an item for me and I can't pick it up, can you get it for meeeee???"
……?.....??
"You didn't complain when you were a cat😒"
And that's how you were forced to help ruggie run errands every weekend
(´-﹏-`)
Jade
I'm not sure about jade tbh
I would run away from him as soon as i see him( ̄^ ̄;)
Jade was just minding his business (with his shrooms) until an overly happy, chaotic and energetic Floyd came running.
"JADE! LOOK AT SHRIMPY!!!"
He is holding you like simba💀
Shrimpy????
"Shrimpy got turned into a furball today, so I guess shrimpy is more of a cat fish"
Hm…..? This is interesting……
Floyd begs jade if he could keep you but due to jade being a -Sadist- nice person he said yes.
But after 3 hours Floyd got bored
(๑•̀^•́๑)
So jade took the liberty to 'take care of you' because you are his dear pearl ❤❤
A cat meets a fish!!
Honestly whenever you trip on your tail or have a sneezing fit he would laugh at you for awhile
He wouldn't down right say I'm sorry 😪 but he will try to make it up to you 🥰
You also get to be a little money maker🤑🤑 (you are a model for the monstro lounge)
He would give you daily baths❤❤
Class with a cat!!
He lets you sit on his shoulders and if anyone says anything bad about it then let's hope they got medical bills!(๑•̀᎑<๑) if you catch my drift
Going to class with him is????
Like he would let you sit on his lap but after 10 minutes you are suddenly on the table(・・ ) ?
You do have homework from him tho(ᗒᗣᗕ)՞
When he takes you to the mountain lovers club he WILL rant!!!❤❤♡
He will feed you mushrooms
(Beware of the ones that look weird because he would use you as a test subject)
Also mushroom homework on this club too!
A fish filled dinner!!
He would feed you anything?
(Like i said earlier make sure there isn't any strange mushrooms)
He would make you eat on the floor💔💔💔
If he does give you cat food he would give you the rich ppl kind♡
A Midnight sea!!
When the sun fell asleep and the sky changed color, you were watching jade do his work. The smell of salt lingers in your fur after your quote-on-quote bath Floyd gave you(Spoiler he dumped you in the pool). Jade laughed about it until you kept meowing and shivering,he dried you off and sat you on the cat bed he bought for you.You remember when he would scratched your ears every so often, no longer after 30 minutes jade finally sat on his bed.He laid down and closed his eyes, not long you hopped on his torso and made yourself comfortable, lulling yourself to a deep sleep.
Jade was still awake btw(˶ᵔᴗᵔ˶) ☆
You also owe Ace 10 mandol cause yall had bet that the twins don't sleep. (๑•́ ᎔ •̀๑)
A rusty pearl!!
Upset
Jade is sad that he won't have anyone to experiment his mushroom recipes with
(So promise to try some every now and then okay^^)
When you turn back he would tease you
A Sadist
…..!...
"My,prefect it was quite funny how you fell over your own tail!"
…….×,+*@;!,+,!....🤬🤬🤬
"Now now no need to make a big fuss. How about I treat you to a new mushroom recipe I've made?"
Jamil
When Kalim brought a cat to the dorm he was just gonna throw you out💀
That was before Kamil started crying babbling about how he is sorry that he turned you into a cat 😼
*loading………error screen*
"Kalim, why do you have a cat"🧍
"Y/n turned into a cat *sniffle* and it was my fault *sniff* and  and I want to take care of them so crewel can turn them back"
He knows dang well Kalim won't take care of you
He would try and fail so Jamil did the most reasonable thing
"I'll take care of y/n"
"Really jamil!!!"
It would lowkey be funny if Jamil just said no💀💀
"Yes Kalim"
And that is how Jamil is now taking care of you!
His first task is to get you someplace where you can't cause trouble.
The new roomie!!!
He kept you on his room💀💀💀
You hopped on his desk with a mission in mind!😤😤😤
Crash!
You would knock things off Jamil's desk out of spite
The floor was too dry 🙄
He would just clean it up and keep you in there for like 10 minutes
He comes back in to take you to class and look at that, you are…
Sleeping….? You're Not causing havoc???
Jamil rn:(・・ ) …?
Wakes you up
If you're bad then hope you like water cause you would get sprayed with a spray bottle filled with water.
He would probably smack your head if you're bad😗😗
A paw-some class!!!
He would carry you in his bag<33
He would let you play with a spare basketball when he goes to practice♡
Lmfao imagine if you go into the gym and all you see is a cat trying to fight a ball and losing 💀💀💀💀
When he takes you to class he would set you on the floor🥲
And forces you to learn 😭😭
A feast fit for a cat!!!
Would make sure Kalim doesn't feed you manakeesh,Asida/ Aseeda and Martabak.
He would cook cat food for you
(Is that a real thing idk)
You eat with them -thx kalim-
A lil cat nap!!
He wouldn't buy a cat bed But Kalim does buy you one
When you settle down, it feels wrong….
Jamil is at his desk doing homework
Hmmmmmm..
Your waiting as the viper finishes his work from class,a small feline body like yours couldn't keep up with the energy you lost amongst the day.So without noticing it you fell asleep, when you fell asleep the sun was still out;but when you woken up the sun had already bid its farewells to the dorm representing the scalding sands. You turn to find the boy you adore fast asleep…..hmm..
When Jamil finally went to bed you hopped up with him!!♡♡
-He was still awake;;-
You would keep Jamil from overworking himself 💜💜
The last purr!!
When kitty y/n has to go he feels happy?
He is happy he won't have to deal with cat y/n😭
(But a bit sad that he won't have a excuse to be with you no more lol)
I mean no Jamil would never be sad because of that 😅😅
"Huh prefect? No…it's because you were turned into a cat. I just want to make sure it won't have any side effects."
…..???......
"No I could care less about your problems, I just don't want it to affect Kalim and me that's all."
He's a lil awkward sometimes 😬😬
Rook
Rook was just stalking others like how he does everyday.
While he was watching Leona he spotted a kitten hop over the window he was spying from("'•̥ ˕ •̥)

Now let's see how good of a caretaker he is(๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)
Bow classes with a lil kitty!!

He also takes liberty to give you little shoes so when you want to get down you won't get your paw dirty💛
You will be forced to learn though (ˊ^ˋ; )

Oh you also eat on the floor
Midnight man!!
He does buy you a premium cat bed But you won't use it.
When the moon comes to say hello, you are sleeping soundly In your covers.A hunter watches as your stomach rises and falls over again, occasionally your paw twitching when having a nightmare.Rook would pet your fur every so often, to calm you down from those nightmares, whispering little nothings as he pets you ever so softly.Rook finds himself slowly falling asleep,he carefully picks you up and holds you against his chest as he opens his covers, slowly crawling in the covers with you in his hold.
Setting you down softly with him,he watches as you curl up to him slowly purring. Before Rook know it he himself was also sleeping.
He would switch to sleeping on his back and his side but he makes sure to move you to the side when he wants to change his position💛💛
A farewell from the stage!!
Nooonnnnn 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
He is so downcast
He wanted you to be a kitty a little longer, but he digresses

Could you write tfp Bulkhead and Tfp Wheeljack trying out various foods while they are temporarly stuck as humans,?
Of course bestie no problemo.
Also Wheeljack hating tomatos is canon.
"Tell me doc that this is not permanent!" said Wheeljack.
Right now both him and Bulkhead were turned into human by an artifact that the autobots required recently. Smokescreen and Bumblebee were both holding back their laughter/chirips when they saw Arcee carrying the wrecker and the ex wrecker in her servos. Ratchet gave a glare to Wheeljack.
"It will be if you call me doc one more time."
/:Who makes an artifact like this anyways?:/ beeped Bumblebee between two wheezes.
"It's probably an experiment artifact. Or a by product. There were lot of those during the war." chided in Smokescreen who was happy to show off the knowledge he got from being an archivist.
"What ever it is-" started Ratchet but was interrupted by a loud sound that came from Bulkhead's stomach.
"Is it a bomb?" was all that Wheeljack asked.
The kids started laughing at that. The autobots looked confused and worried for their teammates.
"Relax he is just hungry. We should take them to eat something." said Raf.
"Eat? You mean fueling?" asked back Bulk.
"Yep. Mom let's take them to our house and order something." said Jack while looking at his mom.
"I don't think take out would be the best for them. Maybe it would be better if I cook something." hummed the nurse.
"C'mon Miss Darby! This is probably the firs and last time that Jackie and Bulk will be human. We should give them the good stuff!" encouraged Miko.
June sighed then signaled for the kids and the two now human autobots to follow her.
"I will leave them in your care than Miss Darby. Bee please accompany them." said Optimus and motioned to the scout to follow the small group.
The ride was spent with chatting and planning on what food they are gonna order. The results are:
- Chicken salad by June
- Curry by Miko
- KO burgers by Jack
- And for dessert Rafael choose chocolate pudding
They also stopped by the mall to buy orange soda and some gummy bears. Bulkhead squashed a white gummy between his fingers.
"Is this really eatable? It's texture is funny." said the wrecker.
"Iss like rubber. But oh well if we survived the decepticons this long some rubber animal ain't gonna kill us." said Wheeljack and popped a green gummy into his mouth. After that he made a face.
"It tastes like when you spice your energon cube with copper."
"It's sour candy. It will pull your mouth together." explained Raf.
Bulkhead wasn't really bothered by the sourness and ate another gummy.
"It's fine."
With that they soon arrived at Jack's house. While they were waiting for the food to arrive Miko showed cat videos to the bots. Bulkhead squiked every time something cute happened but Wheeljack sat through it stoically. In reality he struggled not to say aww when a small kitten was cuddling a teddy bear, but he would never admit it.
"Food review timeeee!" shouted Miko when she saw Jack and Raf bringing the food in.
"Let's start with the salad." said June and unwrapped the said food.
"Is this grass? Humans eat grass?" asked Wheeljack sceptically.
"It's not grass. These are vegetables. And the white chunks are chicken meat." chuckled Jack.
"Be sure to chew them properly." said June while handing the cutlery over to Wheeljack and Bulkhead.
"Mom they are not children. They are just giant alien robots who temporarily become human."
"Same thing." nodded June.
"Anyways dig in!" said Miko with a grin on her face.
The first taste wasn't bad. It wasn't Wheeljack's favourite but it was fine. Bulkhead just shuggered and took a bite out of the chicken.
"This chicken thing is good." said the wrecker and went for another piece.
In the mean time Wheeljack took a bite out of a tomato.
"Uh what is this? Even Ratchet's synthetic energon is better."
"When did you-" started Raf but was quickly interrupted by the ex wrecker.
"Don't ask."
Next up it was curry. Both of them approved it's taste.
"This is really good! Do you think Ratchet could replicate the taste in energon?" asked Bulkhead.
"Only one way to find out." smirked Wheeljack.
"I knew you would love it guys!" smiled Miko victoriously.
Jack's fast food came next. Two burgers and two cheese burger with fries was on the plate before the two friends. Wheeljack picked out the tomatos first while Bulkhead took a bit out of the cheese burger. The ketchup stained his green tank top.
"Oops."
"What's that liquid anyways?" asked Wheeljack who also took a bite out of his burger.
"Ketchup. Basically liquid tomato." said Miko.
Wheeljack looked confused at her.
"There is no way."
"Yes way."
"They don't even taste the same!"
"It's...you know what? Eat your veggies Jackie!" shouted the girl.
"Never!"
"What is this streachy thing? It's awesome."
"That's cheese Bulkhead." said Raf.
And for last it was time for Rafael's dessert. The chocolate pudding. Bulkhead chuckled when he poked the dessert and it jiggled.
"It's so different than what we had before." noted Wheeljack.
"Because it's sweet. Unlike the rest of the food that you tried." explained the small boy.
Both bots had a sweet tooth but Wheeljack would never admit it. He is a serious, snarky and badass swordman and scientist after all.
"Don't forget your whipped cream!" smirked Miko then proceed to dump the whole can of whipped cream onto the pudding.
Or well that was the plan but she stumbled, and she missed her target. Wheeljack's whole face, neck and hair were covered in whipped cream now.
"Miko!" exclaimed Jack.
Everyone laughed while Wheeljack scoffed and tried to get rid of the whipped cream.
"So... that's it?" asked Bulkhead.
"Well you should be thirsty after your meal." started June.
Jack poured 2 glasses of orange soda and put it in front of the wrecker and ex wrecker.
"Yer right my neck cables are dry." nodded Wheeljack.
"I assume you meant throat." said June.
Bulkhead didn't really waste time and downed the whole glass in one go. Wheeljack only blinked at him but soon after a loud sound errupted from the wrecker.
"Did you just blurp?" laughed Miko.
"The body of a human is full of mysteries."
Bonus:
"So you are saying that we need to eat in order to make this weak body function?" said Starscream while looking at him in disgust.
They were in Knockout's office, where they stood on the operating table. Before them there were various vegetables and fruit, scattered across them. Knockout grabbed one of the vegetables and bit it. After that he wheezed and his breathing picked up.
"Wha- What's wrong?" asked Starscream hesitantly.
"IT BURNS!!!!"

Chapter Two: The Station
The streets were oddly quiet as you followed closely behind Gavin, armed with the small knife he found for you back at the café. Streetlights shone down onto the sidewalks, and obnoxious neon signs blinked out the front of closed restaurants and stores. They usually provided comfort, but now they only served to make you antsy. You still hadn’t seen any of these so-called ‘zombies’ Gavin had bravely encountered, but you didn’t want to be on display for them like a hunk of meat, either.
“Where is everybody?” You whispered when the two of you reached a dark, narrow alley. You should’ve seen someone, anyone, by now. An uneasy feeling settled in the pit of your stomach.
He glared at you, though you were unsure if it was because he didn’t like your question or because you really had the balls to make noise while you were out here. He continued without answering. The latter it was, then.
He held out an arm to halt you at the end of the alley, carefully peeking his head out to gaze upon the next street. You went to do the same, but he held firm and shook his head, a finger coming to rest upon his lips. He made a small biting motion, baring his teeth, and you tilted your head in question.
That was when you heard it. Grotesque crunching sounds floated towards you somewhere from the right, and your heart began to race. It must have been one of those things – or a few of them if the sounds were anything to go by. The low growls and moans were hard to ignore. A man was crying and gurgling, praying for God or anyone to help him.
You must have zoned out because you came to with an irritated Gavin waving a hand in your face. You blinked and acknowledged him with a disturbed look. He sighed and jabbed a thumb towards a street sign in the distance.
Detroit Police Department, 750m, with an arrow pointing to the right.
Your eyes widened, and you almost, almost voiced your protest, but you bit your lip hard instead, willing yourself to shut up. His shoulders drooped in frustration, and he gave you a sour look, almost as if to say, ‘why the fuck are you here?’
You mouthed an apology to him and steeled yourself with a deep breath, raising your knife in front of you. He let you tag along. You couldn’t be the dead weight now.
What the hell am I doing?
He hesitated before giving you a slow nod of approval, grey eyes narrowed in determination. He crouched slightly, gun held close to his chest, and motioned for you to stay close before emerging from the shadows. You wished there was another way, but backtracking and taking a detour would be too risky at this point. At least, that was what you guessed from the defeated look on Gavin’s face when he pointed at the sign.
You first noticed the lack of the (probably now dead) man’s voice when you stepped out of the shadows. The next was realising how close the mauled (yep, definitely dead) body was. And lastly, three of the undead digging in, ripping, and tearing into the body like they hadn’t eaten in several weeks, their backs to the two of you. You stumbled. There was so. Much. Blood.
It was one thing to see carnage on TV, glamorised by the many talented actors, actresses and production teams behind it, but this was-
Downright terrifying, you thought.
Gavin slowed when he realised you weren’t behind him and took a quick moment to acknowledge the gory scene himself before looking back at you, jaw tightened. He held out his hand, and you took it, taking slight comfort in the feeling of another person’s warm skin, despite the fact that he was a total stranger to you less than two hours ago.
Hands now linked (yours unbelievably sweaty), he slowly continued to lead you to another alley some fifty metres away, his eyes never entirely leaving the predators across the street. Thank God you’d chosen to wear your comfortable running shoes today, for they were considerably quieter than Gavin’s heavy boots.
You were nearly there when a loud screeching of tyres came down the block, the headlights of what seemed to be a black four-by-four beaming over the two of you. It had come to a solid stop, engine rumbling low, waiting. What are they…?
Gavin’s hand tightened around yours, almost painfully, and his head snapped towards the flesh eaters. They were no longer feeding, all three sets of dark, bloodied eyes now locked onto the two of you. You didn’t have the time to linger on how horrific they looked before you were pushed towards the alley, Gavin sending a well-aimed shot towards the one now running at you on all fours. Blood spurted from its shoulder where the bullet made contact, but it did almost nothing to slow it down.
“Fuck! Go!” He yelled, blindly taking two more shots over his shoulder as he ran after you.
Your lungs were burning by the time you were spat out onto another street with no time to survey your surroundings like the last. Gavin wasn’t far behind, swearing under his breath as he overtook you, once again yanking you by the arm this time, shouting at you to keep going. Those things were still behind you, borderline demonic screams leaving their mouths.
You could see it now, the station. The lights were out (they must have gotten the same idea), and you came to a halt once you reached the entrance doors. Unfortunately, they were wooden with frosted glass, so you couldn’t see much inside. You frantically shook the metal handle, but it wouldn’t budge.
“Ah, shit! Gavin?!”
You went to look at him when you were tackled from behind, your body slamming into the door before being dragged down by something heavy. Your head spun as you let out a scream, your arms shooting out to hold the flesh eater away from you. Strings of dark blood left its mouth as it snarled and snapped at your face, its hands tugging on your clothes like the jaws of a rabid dog.
You could hear shouting in the distance, followed by gunshots and something clanging loudly against the road. Gavin must be fighting the other two. You were on your own.
Your arms were shaking, unused to the sudden strain they were being put through, but you weren’t going to give up without a fight. Knife lying forgotten on the floor (you must have dropped it), you wriggled your hips and brought a knee up between you and the flesh eater. Then, mustering what strength you could, you pushed out. It staggered back, giving you barely enough room to roll away before it pounced again, its blood-soaked fingers swiping for your jacket.
You barely noticed the door beside you finally open, someone stepping out, gun raised. A shot fired, and your ears rang as you were hauled inside by another, the flesh eater that was targeting you now twitching on the floor with a gunshot wound right between the eyes. It was dark inside, but the streetlight down the road provided just enough light for you to see the middle-aged man who’d pulled you in, blue eyes checking you over.
“Hey, you okay?” He asked gruffly, swearing under his breath when more gunshots rang out. Thick grey hair framed his face alongside a somewhat scruffy beard. “We gotcha, kid, don’t worry. The name’s Hank, by the way.”
“I-I’m… I…” Trying to get a word out was futile, so you snapped your mouth shut, your body trembling in shock.
He moved you towards the reception desk, letting you go when your knees collapsed from under you, huffing as you landed a little roughly on your backside, trying to control the short, frantic breaths that left your mouth.
Hank made his way back to the door, peering outside. “There’s fucking more of ‘em!”
He stepped aside as two figures raced in not long after; one of which you were relieved to see was Gavin. In your distress, you hadn’t realised the other person was an android, his fitted grey jacket glowing with the tell-tale signs of Cyberlife’s emblem and notorious armband. An RK800, you read. He’d saved you.
The three flinched back as several flesh eaters slammed into the windows, clearly unaffected by the pain it would inflict upon a normal human being. Your heart rate spiked again upon seeing more of them. One was difficult enough to face.
“Connor,” Hank addressed the android. “Help me block the entrance!”
“Got it!”
“Sorry, boys,” He said, patting the surface of a stall honouring the department’s past officers. “Desperate times call for desperate measures.”
The two of them worked together to push the surprisingly heavy stall to block the doors, tipping it over onto its side for good measure. A loud crash sounded throughout the station, and you recoiled, wary of the fact that those things were drawn to sound. Not that it mattered now.
Gavin’s eyes landed on your vulnerable frame, and he crossed his arms. “Looks like we made it.” He stated, a ghost of a smirk on his lips.
You sucked in a breath, “Are you seriously smiling right now?”
This only made him chuckle, “Well, we fuckin’ made it, didn’t we?”
“Yeah. Barely.”
“Oh, come on.”
“No.”
“If it helps, you really are a lot faster than I thought you’d be.”
You had regular jogs to thank for that.
“For a midget, anyway.” He added – a somewhat backhanded compliment, you supposed.
“… Thanks, I guess?”
A hushed cough startled you from your half-hearted bickering with Gavin. You both looked towards the android – Connor, you inwardly corrected. “If I may,” he said, taking a second to adjust his crooked tie. “I suggest we head inside. Out of sight.”
“Out of mind,” Gavin carried on, delivering him a hard slap on the shoulder. “Read my mind, tin can.”
Hank gave you a helping hand to stand again before being led through a set of gates and automatic glass doors that fanned out into a room filled with desks and twelve unoccupied android stations. A large, currently unused glass office sat in the centre. It was even darker back here, save for a computer terminal on one of the middle desks (some people were huddled around it) and the bright blue LED of another android. They looked up as you all walked in.
A man abruptly rose from his chair, his dark features schooled into what seemed like a semi-permanent scowl. “Detective Reed, where in the hell have you been?”
“Sorry, Captain Fowler, I was busy trying not to die.” You didn’t miss the snark in Gavin’s tone. He continued, “I dropped my phone when one of those fuckers attacked me.”
“What of Officer Miller?”
“Had to leave him in a café full of panicked civilians.” He introduced you by name, “She’s from there.”
Hank spoke up next, “There’s more of those things out front, too. We’ve blocked the doors, but they won’t hold if more of ‘em show up.”
“We stay away from the entrance, then. Hopefully, they’ll get bored and leave.” The captain’s scowl grew deeper as he brought a hand to his chin. “I’ve got three active units remaining unaccounted for. Nines, best keep trying while I try my hand at getting a hold of Captain Allen. His lot are probably on it as we speak…”
You zoned out as they continued to scope the situation, your mind needing a moment to process the fact that this was real and you were now holed up in a police station with yet another bunch of strangers. You’d felt around in your pockets for your phone only to discover that it was practically useless now, considering it was dead. Unless, of course, you managed to get hold of a compatible charger since yours was left behind at the café in your messenger bag.
It could be worse, you thought grimly.
A hand entered your peripheral, and you began to retreat out of instinct until you realised it was only Connor. His LED flickered as his dark coffee eyes trailed over your form, hand cautiously hovering. “You’re wounded.”
 “I am?” You asked dumbly.
He nodded, “You have scrapes on your hands, and you’re suffering from a mild concussion.”
Your hand reached up to feel your head, wincing as your fingers ran over your temple. You did hit the window pretty hard when that flesh eater jumped you. As for the scrapes, you were only just now starting to feel the sting, the adrenaline rush from earlier beginning to subside. You hadn’t noticed them at all.
“Please follow me.”
You nodded shyly and shuffled along behind him. It was hard to ignore how attractive he was now that you actually had the time to breathe and take in your surroundings properly. You took note of his tall yet lean frame, your eyes only just level with his broad shoulders if you stood straight. He had coiffed brown hair, one stubborn strand falling over to tickle at his forehead and nice high cheekbones with a generous smattering of light freckles. Not to mention those eyes.
How dare they make an android so attractive?
He entered what must have been the break room for staff, asking you to rinse your wounds in the sink while he fished around in the first aid cabinet. Afterwards, you waited for him by one of the chrome bar tables while he got what he needed, gently eyeing your wounds. They weren’t that bad, but you knew they’d become annoying if they weren’t tended to.
He walked over with a cotton pad doused in some ointment and clean bandages still in their wrapper. You swallowed hard as he took your noticeably smaller hand in his own and gently began dabbing at the torn skin, face knitted in concentration. It was almost… cute.
“So, do you work here?” You blurted. Smooth. That much had been obvious when he heroically assisted you and Gavin with his gun earlier.
He glanced up at you before returning his attention to his task. “Yes. I’m Lieutenant Anderson’s – Hank’s partner.” He stated, letting go of your hands to tear open the packets of bandages.
“Ah, nice,” you held your left wrist up for him to begin wrapping, trying not to focus too much on how soft his hands were. You’d never touched an android before. “Thank you for earlier, by the way. I’d have been a goner.”
“You’re welcome.”
Another short silence.
“So, how did it start here?”
His brow lifted, “Pardon?”
“Oh, um, the zombies. Was the station attacked?” You clarified, cringing inwardly at your awkwardness.
“Ah, no, we weren’t attacked. Though, we did receive a sudden influx of callers reporting their encounters with what they called ‘crazed cannibals’.” He replied matter-of-factly.
You found it in yourself to chuckle, “Well, they’re not entirely wrong.”
A small smile curled at his lips, exposing the slightest hint of dimples on his cheeks, and you quickly averted your eyes to a very interesting coffee stain on the edge of the table, heart rate spiking.
What the actual fuck, Cyberlife…
He finished up with your other hand in silence. You focused on chewing the inside of your cheek to avoid more lame conversation starters slipping past your lips. It had been a while since your last relationship – or, well, dalliance was a more accurate term. You found it hard to commit to a long-term relationship in the past, your mental health being all over the place for a while, so you’d often sought comfort in something more casual. No strings attached. That didn’t mean anything long-term was off the table, however. You just hadn’t found ‘the one’.
Not that you were eyeing up Connor to fill that void. You’d just met the poor guy, and you knew many deviants were still overwhelmed with their newfound emotions. You’ve heard your fair share of stories on the internet, most of which were probably exaggerated due to the attitude on social media nowadays, but you knew they held some credibility.
Back in the bullpen, Hank and Gavin stood off to the side with Fowler, quietly observing as he argued with someone over the phone. Meanwhile, three other officers still sat by the computer, eyes glued to what seemed to be a news report showcasing the violent new species running amok on the streets outside the news tower. You gulped. There looked to be hundreds of the things going absolutely mental at the news chopper hovering above.
Lastly, there was the other android – Nines, the captain had said – leaning his backside against the desk opposite the officers, arms crossed, face void of any emotion. The flickering yellow LED on his temple was the only thing telling you he was alive. His jacket was black and white with an unusually high collar, the model number RK900 sewn neatly across the front. The part that got you the most, however, was his face. It was strikingly similar to Connor’s, but his features were sterner, harder, granting him a lovely air of ‘don’t fuck with me’.
“Hey, Connor? Is there another phone I can use around here?” You asked. You wanted to contact your parents. Might as well while everyone else was busy.
He nodded, pointing to a landline on the desk Nines was hovering over.
Of course.
You swallowed hard and nodded your head in thanks as you quietly sidled over, doing your best not to distract the imposing android. Thankfully, he didn’t even spare you a glance as you reached over to the phone and brought it closer to you. You lifted the handset to your ear and dialled your dad’s number first. Nothing. You tried again. Nothing. You faced the same issue with your mum but left a message this time.
“Hey, Mum, you good? I’m at the police station, holed up with a few others. I got attacked by one of those…” you pinched the bridge of your nose, squeezing your eyes shut to remove the terrifying images from your mind, “-things. It’s on the news if you haven’t seen it yet.I wanted to make sure you and Dad are okay at the hospital. I know you’re both working late. My phone’s dead, so call the station when you can. I love you. Bye.”
You hung up with a heavy heart, one hand lingering on the handset while the other carded through your hair, trying to keep your thoughts steady. There was no point in panicking when there was nothing you could do. The hospital they worked at was way too far to walk, and catching an automated taxi was out of the question since you were honestly too scared to go on your own after seeing what was out there. Besides, you didn’t want to burden anyone else. They were your parents, not theirs. They had their own families to worry about.
Shuffling sounds snapped you out of your reverie, and your eyes blinked open to gaze up at Nines, who was standing properly now.
Sweet Jesus, this one’s even taller.
He glanced at you for barely a second (his eyes were a stormy grey compared to Connor’s molten brown) before walking off to inform the captain of his fruitless attempts at making contact with the other units. His voice was partially deeper, more monotone and lacking the expression Connor’s had. Was he even a deviant yet?
Fowler swore loudly, making you jump. Hank’s lips formed a thin line as he extracted himself from the situation with his hands raised, choosing to join you instead. He casually took Nine’s previous spot. “How you feelin’, kid? You look a sight.”
You froze. You hadn’t thought about your appearance at all. “Shit, really?”
“No less than Gavin over there, but yeah,” he chuckled, reaching for a bottle of water near the terminal behind him. He offered you one before taking a long swig from his, “You’re lucky Connor came when he did. Bolted when he heard your scream.”
“He did?” You gave a sheepish smile, trying not to steal a glance at the handsome android in question. You focused on the water bottle in your hands instead.
The lieutenant nodded. “Sure did. Poor kid’s been on edge all night, waiting for another soul to save.”
“Is he usually like that?”
“Recently, yeah. This whole deviancy thing’s changing him, giving him a real personality, you know?” Hank looked proud, a ghost of a smile on his lips. He clearly cares about him. He shook his head and focused back on you, “You trying to call someone?”
“O-oh, yeah.” You bit your lip, hesitating momentarily. “My parents. Couldn’t get a hold of them, though...”
“They at home?”
“I mean, Henry Ford Hospital practically is their home. They’re both doctors.” You explained.
His brows rose at that, but he didn’t comment on it, so you took the opportunity to ask for the restroom and excused yourself, relieved to see that the lights were still on in there. You almost gagged when your eyes landed on your reflection in the mirror. Though he’d been pretty polite about it, Hank wasn’t lying – you looked horrid.
Your jacket was coated in blood from when that zombie tried to make a meal out of you. Your face wasn’t spared either, much to your chagrin, caked blood smearing your neck and chin – that thing’s drool, you realised with a real gag this time. Your hair was a mess, too, loose strands framing your face, a harsh reminder of the past hour or so. Not that you’d ever forget.
You immediately removed the jacket and flung it over the bench, leaving you in a form-fitting, navy-blue thermal that kept you warm on chilly nights like tonight. The sleeves had snaked their way up your forearms in a way that usually drove you crazy, but you kept them there as you wet some paper towel and began rubbing at your face to remove the blood.
You should’ve done this before Connor wrapped your hands.
You gagged yet again as the water activated the metallic stench of blood, and this time grabbed another bunch of paper towels with soap on it this time because you were not about to get familiar with the smell of death right on your face. Once that was done, you reached up to untangle your hair and smooth it down as much as possible without a brush. It wasn’t perfect, but it would do for now. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much you could do about your leggings, so they’d have to stay as they were until you could get a clean set of clothes.
With that, you left the restroom, mentally preparing yourself for what was going to be an undoubtedly long and restless night.

Can I request a fluffy Eddie × Chrissy long fic where it's Christmas and they are having a great time at their home and opening presents and just when Eddie thinks that they have finished opening presents, Chrissy says that there is one more for him and that she has to go get it. Chrissy leaves the room for a second and comes back with a wrapped box and Eddie looks at her confused and asks her what it is and she tells him he's going to have to open it and see. Eddie notices that she seems nervous and slowly opens it and when he does, inside is a positive pregnancy test and a sonagram picture and a little onesie is inside that says Daddy’s Little Rockstar ❤️on it?
"Ta-Da! I present to you the famous Munson Family Christmas Tree Pancakes! Now, with extra sprinkles and syrup!" Eddie sat the plate of sugar in front of his fiancé with a grin, joining her on the couch in front of their small Christmas tree. It was still dark out despite being almost eight am.
"Ugh, babe, it's too early for this much sugar." Chrissy giggled as she looked over the red and green gooey mess Eddie laid before her. "Are your famous pancakes always this sweet?"
"Yep. Just the way you are." Eddie placed a quick kiss on Chrissy's cheek as he said this. "Wayne used to make these for me every Christmas morning when I was little. At first, I think he just did it to cheer me up when dad went back to prison. But then it became a tradition. And I will be extremely offended if you don't eat my foody embodiment of love." With the roll of her eyes, Chrissy grabbed the fork Eddie was holding out and scooped some of the pancake in her mouth. She paused, slowly taking another bite before letting out a pleased noise.
"Not bad. Although, I think I feel a new cavity forming. Think you used enough sugar?"
"You can never use too much sugar on Christmas." Eddie replied as his leg bounced excitedly. He kept sending side glances to the small pile of gifts under the tree less than a foot away. She didn't have to be psychic to know what he wanted as she quickly set her plate aside and pulled out a gift wrapped in light gray paper.
"Ready to open presents?"
"Yes!"
Her brother and Wayne wouldn't be over for another two hours. There was a reasonable chance that Eddie could explode from excitement if they didn't start now. Chrissy barely contained a laugh as Eddie attempted not to look too giddy when he accepted the gift from her. It didn't work as, much like a piranha to meat, her fiancé tore at the paper with excitement. Opening the cardboard box, Eddie frowned when he was greeted by a slightly smaller cardboard box inside.
"Ugh...what...?"
"Go on! Open it!" Chrissy giggled as Eddie pulled out the tiny box. He stared at it for a moment before pulling the top off the pink box. The former cheerleader watched as a look of shock crossed her fiancé's face. He turned to the blonde, mouth agape.
"You're...?"
"Mmm-hmm! Go on, there's something else!" Chrissy nodded happily. The shock disappeared from Eddie's face and was quickly replaced by excitement. He pulled out the sonogram of their now three month old baby to reveal a black and red onesie underneath. It read ''Daddy's Little Rockstar.''
"Oh my God..." Eddie rarely cried, but the look of overwhelming joy that crossed his face made it almost impossible for the man to bite back his tears.
"So...do you like it?" Chrissy asked with a small smile. Eddie responded with the shake of his head as he leaned over and wrapped her in a hug. The man buried his face in her shoulder as he finally managed to speak.
"It's perfect," he whispered into Chrissy's hair. She leaned over and planted a kiss on the top of Eddie's forehead.
"Just like you." Chrissy replied as she felt Eddie grab her hands. "Merry Christmas, Eddie."

Ice & Fire ༄ Pt. 8 (Bran Stark x Targaryen OC fanfic)
⋇ Chapter 8: The Three-eyed Raven ⋇
Tumblr media
Tsireya’s POV
On our way to the three-eyed raven, we met someone, or something, named Coldhands, well that’s what Sam and Gilly called him. They told us that he would be waiting for us so he could lead us the rest of the way. He was actually pretty useful. He would help us get food, let us ride his great elk, and fight off any men coming our way. I still couldn’t help but be afraid of him still, and Meera didn’t trust him. Coldhands told us to go to a village near by and he would meet us there.
With the help of Summer, we found the village and went inside the long hall. Summer left us to go hunt, commanded by Bran so he wouldn’t attack the elk. Our stomachs began to growl. The best Meera could find was acorns, she crushed and pounded them into a paste for all of us to eat. It was so disgusting, but better than nothing. Bran and I gagged after eating it. I’d rather have raw fish like we usually ate than this. Then I noticed Jojen wasn’t eating at all, “Jojen you must have at least a bite.”
“I…just need some rest,” he replied to me, “later, I will eat.”
The rest of us looked at each other confused. Jojen was getting weaker everyday, we were scared for him.
“But Jojen you’ll perish,” Meera said, “you need to eat!”
“This is not the day I die, I promise,” he said smiling weakly at all of us.
Bran decided to warg Summer for a bit. While he was doing that, Coldhands came back with a sow. I helped Meera cook it on the flames. The smell of the meat must have brought Bran back, “is that…meat I smell?” Meera smiled, “yep, you came back just in time!” Hodor was already chowing down his meat happily. The rest of us ate while Coldhands stood aside and watched with his raven on his shoulder. He didn’t like fire.
Bran told me the men he killed were men of the Night’s Watch. Meera continued to argue that he didn’t trust Coldhands, but Jojen insisted that we go with him or we will die.
Days later…
Jojen told us that we were close to the three-eyed raven’s cave. He hasn’t been able to walk for days, we all took turns helping him stay on his feet. Poor Jojen, I always thought to myself. Bran would try to comfort me saying, “food and fire will set him right again, you’ll see.” Deep down I could tell he was frightened for him too. One day, due to starvation and weakness, the elk collapsed, for the third time, but it never got back up. We all placed our hand on the elk, praying and thanking it for its service. Meera and Coldhands finished the job, butchering it while Bran held me as I wept for it. Luckily, the elk provided us food enough for seven days later. I didn’t want to eat it, but I was hungry. To be respectful, I prayed every time before I ate it, Bran did the same.
We begin to climb a snowy hill, instructed by Coldhands, to get away from wights nearby. I helped Meera take Jojen up the hill, but we still struggled. We were all half-starved, not as strong as we used to be. Once we climbed all the way to the top, the scenery was just so beautiful and magical. We could see the cave and a huge white weirwood tree on top of it.
Tumblr media
It’s beautiful, I thought to myself. Bran looked over at me with a smile, as if he read my mind. We walked down the hill getting closer to the cave. “We’re about sixty yards!” Bran told me. Suddenly, Hodor falls on the ice, “Hodor!” He screamed. Something was grabbing him! It was an ambush! Wights start to jump out of the ice below us and from the snow. Bran and I helped Hodor while Meera was trying to protect Jojen. We all tried our best to fight them off with dragon glass swords.
As we were fighting, we noticed some wights were on fire! “Who’s doing that?” Bran asked. We both look back at the entrance of the cave, and we see a little girl, she sort of looked like Arya, but it was too good to be true. Coldhands told us to go on without him.
“Come!” She yelled, “He is waiting for you!”
We all ran as fast as we could and made it inside the cave. Before we could even ask her who she was, she ran deeper into the cave.
Tumblr media
“Wait!” Bran shouted, following her. We followed after him looking around the place. There were weirwood roots everywhere! The place was huge, so many side passages and chambers. We all then slid down a steep part of the passage.
The girl child was waiting for them, standing on one end of a natural bridge above a yawning chasm. Down below in the darkness, Bran heard the sound of rushing water. An underground river. (A Dance with Dragons - Bran II)
“Do we have to cross?” Bran asked, out of breath.
“No,” a voice answered. “Behind you.”
We all turned around and gasped.
His body was so skeletal and his clothes so rotted that at first Bran took him for another corpse, a dead man propped up so long that the roots had grown over him, under him, and through him. What skin the corpse lord showed was white, save for a bloody blotch that crept up his neck onto his cheek. His white hair was fine and thin as root hair and long enough to brush against the earthen oor. Roots coiled around his legs like wooden serpents. One burrowed through his breeches into the desiccated flesh of his thigh, to emerge again from his shoulder. A spray of dark red leaves sprouted from his skull, and grey mushrooms spotted his brow. A little skin remained, stretched across his face, tight and hard as white leather, but even that was fraying, and here and there the brown and yellow bone beneath was poking through. (A Dance with Dragons - Bran II)
“Are you…the three-eyed raven?” Bran asked him, approaching him.
“Yes,” he answered. We expected him to be old, but not that old. We thought he was a corpse at first glance!
“Wait a second,” I said, walking next to Bran. I examined the pale lord’s face and hair. “Look at him, the pale skin, his silver long hair, his red eyes, and his bloody blotch that’s shaped like a raven!” I turn to Bran, “Bran, do you know who this is?” He tried to think, but he couldn’t figure it out so I tell him, “He’s Bloodraven, Brynden Rivers!”
“I have been many things, dear relative,” he told me. Then he looked at Bran, telling him how long he’s been watching not only him but all of us.
“We’ve come such a long way,” Bran said, “Why did you want to see me?…or us.” He said looking over at me.
“You both are magic, capable to save us all,” Lord Brynden said. “But first you must learn to fly.”
The longer we stayed, the more we both learned. It turned out that Old Nan was right, the children of the forest were real! Well, they are actually called singers. Due to their names being so long, we all came up with simpler names for us to remember them by. The girl that helped us earlier we named Leaf.
Bran and I asked Lord Brynden so many questions, but he didn’t seem to mind them.
“Lord Brynden, I’ve been having these dreams, strange dreams,” I confess, “They fell more and more real every time I have them…what does that mean for me?”
“You are a dragon dreamer,” He told me, “you can foresee parts of the future, prophetic dreams. Like how Daenys foresaw the doom of Valyria. Your dreams are true. Do not fear what you see..” I actually liked the lectures he gave me on dragon dreams, he made me understand them more.
Bran started to learn how to warg into the ravens that lived in the cave. I wanted to try, but I’m not that powerful. When he flew for the first time, he ran into the wall. He came back and said that he felt a woman was inside the bird, but Lord Brynden explained there are many different parts of people from the past that live on in them. He tried flying again and he was a natural.
The more days that passed by, the more Jojen grew weaker. It was depressing seeing him that way. “He wants to go home,” Meera told us as we sat around a small fire, “I know he does, he won’t even try to fate his fate!”
“He’s staying strong,” Bran said. “Being brave.”
“No,” Meera said. “He’s being stupid…all I have ever hoped was to make it here, but now I’m starting to wonder why even come…”
That made us sad, “his greendreams.” Bran answered. “Yeah. Those.” Meera said bitterly. We could see tears in her eyes. “Meera, come on don’t cry!” I told her. She got up and walked away crying in the dark tunnel. She continued to grow colder towards everyone after that, but we knew it was just her emotions getting the best of her.
After much time of warging and skin changing, Lord Brynden said it was time. “Time for what?” Bran asked. “For you to know what it is to be a greenseer,” he replied. Leaf came up to Bran with a bowl and spoon, “eat this.”
Inside was a white paste, thick and heavy, with dark red veins running through it. (A Dance with Dragons - Bran III)
It honestly looked worse than the acorn paste we had. The singers claimed it to be “a paste of weir wood seeds”, though I had a hard time believing it, so did Bran. “And…eating this will make me a greenseer?” He asked the pale lord. “You are already one, all it will do is strengthen your power and wed you to the trees.” The look on Bran’s face was sad. “Look,” I told him, getting a bit of the paste on my finger and licking it, “see it isn’t so bad.” Bran knew I was obviously lying, I couldn’t even describe the taste.
At first bite he took looked rough, but then he chowed the rest of it down. The singers and the raven told him to close his eyes and slip his skin into the roots of the trees. It must have worked because Bran was gone for about a minute. He gasped once he came back. “What did you see?” I asked him. “It was Winterfell, I saw my father! He was there!” He said. The raven explained to us that Bran travelled back in time and saw Lord Stark through the eyes of the weir wood tree in the godswood. “Can I see him again?” Bran asked. “Once you master your abilities you’ll be able to go and see whatever you wish.”
It was time for all of us to rest, but Bran and I stayed up for a while in his chamber. “Tsireya,” he said, “I don’t know if I can do this.” “What do you mean?” I asked him, “you are getting stronger, more powerful! You are finally getting the hang of it!”
“But he said I’ll wed to the trees,” Bran said lowly, “I don’t want to marry a tree! I…I’d rather wed…a girl and…become a knight!”
“Hey,” I told him, taking his hand, “the raven chose you to take up his role for a reason, you are strong and brave, look around! We even made it through the haunted forest to get here. You probably didn’t notice, but you didn’t even need to touch the roots just to travel through time! You aren’t the prince that yielded his kingdom, you are Prince Brandon Stark, the winged wolf.”
“You always know how to make me feel better,” Bran smiled, “don’t forget he wanted you with me for a reason too, your dreams that is.”
“I’ve never even had different dreams since the fall,” I admitted, “they just get more and more real. Now, I feel a little strange. Maybe I shouldn’t have tasted that paste…”
“I don’t know, maybe you’ll get something different next time,” Bran said. “Let’s go to bed.”
After that night, I’ve been getting more different dreams! I even dreamt of a dragon flying over King’s Landing, but it didn’t look like the same dragon as the ones I would usually dream of. I’ve mainly been dreaming of Daenerys, I saw her in Meereen ruling! Bran has been seeing fragments of the past, most of the time with Lord Brynden to guide him.
We continued to grow into adulthood. Bran had to cut his hair due to it being so long! I helped him cut it with a blade. He helped me cut mine too.
With Bran being gone with Lord Brynden, I would talk of my powers with Jojen and the singers. It made me happy to listen to Bran explaining to me what he saw, but it broke me hearing him wanting to go back to Winterfell to watch his father when he was a kid. I also liked to play fetch with Summer. I would hang around Meera sometimes, but she didn’t like to talk much.
“Jojen,” I said, tearing up, “You’re getting weaker as the days go by! You need help! Meera was right, you don’t even try to fight it..”
“No, do not weep over me, Princess.” He told me. “I gladly played my part to get you two here, I did it for you and the sake of the realm. I would gladly do it again.”
Before I could speak, Bran gasped and asked, “Why did you do that?” We all turned at him as he continued, “take me back, I want to go back!”
“No,” the raven replied.
“He heard me, when I called for him!”
“Perhaps, or maybe, it was just the wind he heard.”
“No, he heard me! I know it…please I want to go back.”
“Like I’ve said before, stay too long in the past, and you will never return. You will never be able to finish your training to become me.”
“I never asked to be you, I don’t want to be you! An old man stuck to a tree…”
“I don’t blame you…don’t forget Bran, I was once a man who lived his life. I had a family and had a woman that I loved. I didn’t ask for it either, but I took the responsibility anyway, because I knew I was meant to do it. You won’t be like me, stuck to a tree. But you must continue learn everything before you leave.”
One day, Lord Brynden told us more of the wights and the Night King, he wants to take over the world and make it an endless cold night. That scared me. “You two are a key importance to stop him,” he told us. He soon after took Bran and showed him how the came to be in the first place. “It was you,” Bran said to Leaf, “You created the Night King, the wight walkers!” “We were at war. We were being slaughtered. Our sacred trees cut down. We needed to defend ourselves,” Leaf said in defense.
“From who?” Bran asked.
“Men, you,” She replied before walking away.
That night, Bran and I were talking, “I want to find out more,” he told me, “I’m going to go.”
“But Bran,” I told him. “You can’t, you know you’re not supposed to without him.”
“It only take a little bit,” he said. “You should try it too. Let’s do it together.” He offered his hand to me, “maybe it will work for you.” I thought about and said, “okay, let’s try.” I took his hand and we entered the part of the cave the raven was in. We look at each other and nod before grabbing a root of the tree.
I look around and I don’t see Bran anywhere! “Bran?” I asked. All I see is pitch black! I suddenly hear a painful scream, I quickly turn around. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, it was my mother. She was in the water with her sister, my aunt, giving birth to me! “Push!” My aunt yelled. My mother let out a roar and pushed one last time. I watched as my aunt caught my baby self and gave me to my mother. “A beautiful and healthy girl,” she told her, tearing up. They swam closer to shore and sat on the sand. I cried as I watched my mother weep as she held me. “Please watch over my daughter, give her strength and magic,” my mother prayed to the Valyrian gods, “and let the sea always be by her side, Tsireya Targaryen...” She kissed my forehead and gave me to my aunt, “they’ll be here at any moment, take her and run, now!” My aunt hugged my mother and then took me away. I stayed and watched my mother continue to pray until the assassins showed up. “Where is your daughter?” They yelled. “You’ll never take her!” She replied, cursing them. One of them drew out their sword and swiped her neck clean off. “NO!” I screamed.
Bran’s POV (while Tsireya was having her vision)
Tumblr media
I just woke up from my vision, there were wight walkers everywhere! And the Night King grabbed me. “He saw me!” I yelled. I look over at Tsireya, still not letting her hand go. “What have you done?” Lord Brynden asked me. “I didn’t mean to…” I replied.
“He touched you,” Jojen said weakly. “You have his mark.” I roll up my sleeve and see a red mark burn.
“He knows where we are now,” Lord Brynden said. “He’s coming.”
“We need to pack,” Meera said, gathering our things.
“I’m so sorry I didn’t mean to-.”
I start to feel Tsireya’s hand moving, I look over at her and she’s shaking! The same way that Jojen used to! What frightened me more was that hers was much worse. “Tsireya!” I cried out. I quickly moved her other hand from the root of the tree and laid her down on the ground. Summer ran next to me and whined for her. Hodor wouldn’t stop “hodoring” as he watched from a far. Meera ran to the other side of Tsireya’s body and helped her the same way she did with Jojen. “Shhh, it’s okay,” Meera told her. “We’re here, Tsireya. We are with you,” I joined in. “Kostilus gaomagon daor morghūljagon. Gaomagon daor henujagon nyke. Nyke jorrāelagon ao…(Please, don’t die. Don’t leave me. I need you…)” I continued to hold her hand, I never let it go, not even while I had my vision. I kissed her hand. Oh gods, please don’t let this be the day she dies…
Her eyes opened wide and she began to cough. Meera helped me sit her up saying, “thank goodness you’re okay!” Summer wagged his tail and licked her face. Tsireya didn’t say a word and immediately went to tears. I don’t know what it was she saw, but it must have been terrible. I’ve never seen her cry like this before. “Hey, don’t cry…” I told her, “you’re back, we’re here for you.”
She first looked at Meera, “t-thank you…” she said, hugging her. After Meera got up and continued packing, she turned to me and gave me a tighter hug, “oh Bran!” She said, “I…I saw my mother…she gave birth to me but then she- she-.” “I’m so sorry, Tsireya…” I told her, “I shouldn’t have made you do it.”
“She tasted the paste,” the pale lord said, “and was able to see the past. You disobeyed me, going somewhere you shouldn’t have. But now we mustn’t waste time, the Night King is coming. You need to become me.”
“But am I ready?” I asked. A singer, Snowlocks, walked up to us with something in her hand. At first glance, it looked like a chunk of snowy ice. Once we looked closer, it looked like an egg. “Is that…,” Tsireya started to ask. “An ice dragon egg?” I asked, finishing her sentence. “Yes, for you,” Snowylocks told me. “Me? Why me? What do I know of dragons let alone ice ones!” I told her. “Be not afraid, you will need this dragon, in the future. You will bond with it. As she will with hers.” She told me, looking over at Tsireya’s bag she was wearing, “they won’t be eggs forever.”
“I have taught you a lot, but that might just not be enough…now come with me.” Lord Brynden said.
I wanted to stay with Tsireya, but she turned her head to me saying, “go, I’ll be fine.” She sniffled, “I have to help the others get ready to leave anyway.” I nod and let go of her hand. Suddenly my eyes go white.
Tsireya’s POV
We tried packing as fast as we could, the Night King could be here at any second! Bran and Lord Brynden have been gone for a while. “Guys,” Meera said, “we can finally go home! Well, not home but somewhere that isn’t here.”
“Yes,” I agreed, “finally!”
“We’ll actually have good, well-cooked food!” Meera said.
“Hodor,” Hodor chuckled.
“I could really go for egg,” she told him, “how do you like ‘em? Boiled? Fried up with some butter?”
“Hodor,” he replied.
“And you,” I said to Jojen, “you will finally be able to get help and back on your feet again.”
“Tsireya-.” Jojen began to say. We all heard a noise outside of the front cave. Meera and I run as fast as we could to see. The singers were already outside looking. It was a whole army of dead, wights, and the Night King stood in front of them. “You must take Bran and go!” Leaf yelled to us. We both ran back inside and tried to finish gathering our belongings. Jojen tried to help as well but he was too weak to go fast.
I run to Bran’s body, shaking it, “Bran, wake up we need to leave!”
Hodor stopped helping us and sat in the corner, rocking back and forth.
We can hear explosions coming from outside. The singers run in telling us they set fire around the cave, but the wights and the Night King were still capable of coming in. Usually, I was against Bran warging in Hodor unless for emergencies, because I could tell Hodor didn’t like it very much, but this was definitely an emergency! Hodor was too scared to move or doing anything! “Bran, we need you to warg Hodor!” I said, shaking him. “Bran!” A singer gave us a sledge for us to pull Bran with, “lay him on this, he will be gone for a while.” I nod and drag Bran’s body onto it. “Bran, please warg Hodor, if you can hear me!” I look back at Hodor and watch as Bran wargs him. He gets up and helps us gather food. The best we could get was mushroom, white fish from the river, and cheese from the goats that the singers had.
A wight crashes through the ceiling of the cave, the singers tried to fight it off. Then, another one crashed in! Summer tackled at it, protecting us. The first two wights were killed, but more were entering the cave. Some singers got killed trying to protect us. The rest of us threw dragon glass spears at the walkers killing some of them. “There’s too many,” Leaf said, “you must leave now!”
Bran, inside of Hodor, drags the sledge to the back exit of the cave. I double check my bag to make sure the eggs are in there and then grab Jojen’s hand, “come on!” Jojen wouldn’t move, “no, I must stay here to protect you.” “What?!” Meera and I asked. “You are coming with us!” Meera yelled. “No, this is where my story ends…now go!” He commanded, “I love you, all of you…”I took Meera’s hand and ran with her. We then noticed Summer not leaving too, “Summer no!” I screamed. I watched in horror as Summer jumped at the wights sacrificing himself. I began to tear up, we couldn’t bare watching Jojen die so we just ran to catch up with Bran and Hodor.
At the end of the cave, Bran was trying to bust the door open. Leaf caught up with us, “You both must leave and never look back!” She stopped running with us and used her fire bomb to explode the herd of the dead that was chasing us. I grew to like the singers, seeing them die made me sad.
We busted the door open and went outside. It wasn’t even the same beautiful scenery anymore, just dark and gloomy. I quickly placed my bag next to Bran’s body. Meera and I began pulling the sledge as Hodor stayed behind.
“Come on, Hodor!” I told him.
Hodor put his back against the door, blocking it, “Hodor!” Something deep down was telling me that Hodor was telling us to go on without him…
“But-.”
“Hodor!”
The dead reached the door at the other side, scratching and banging on it. Hodor still held the door. It was so much of them, about over a hundred, the door started to open. We could see their hands coming out of it, scratching at Hodor.
Tumblr media
“Hold the door!” Meera yelled, as we kept pulling Bran away. “Keep holding it!”
“Thank you Hodor!” I yelled, “We love you!”
We heard one last “Hodor” and that was it. Everything went so wrong so fast. Bloodraven, the singers, Jojen, Summer, and now Hodor. Gone. Gone forever. I can’t believe it…
As we were dragging the sledge, I heard a strange noise. It was coming from my bag! I look inside and gasp, the eggs were hatching!
“Oh gods,” Meera said.
My egg, hatched and the dragon was as small as a lizard. It was beautiful. The dragon was, primarily, slightly darker than a baby blue color and had secondary silver markings. Its crest was silver and had pale blue wings.
Bran’s dragon egg hatched, it was beautiful too. It was much paler than mine, a pale blue crystal color with white markings. It had translucent wings.
I didn’t understand though, why hatch now?
We kept on pulling and we made it into the haunted forest again. We were exhausted. We both dropped into the snow, breathing in and out fast. We could hear the dead getting closer. Meera began to weep, “it’s no use, they’re here!” We both went to Bran’s body and used ourselves as shields to protect him. I look down at the baby dragons, they tilted their heads curiously like pups, “I’m so sorry…” I whisper to them. They both began to screech, sounded like crying.
I look at Bran, who’s eyes are still white. I place my hand on his cheek, “Bran, come back. Please.” I few seconds later, his eyes were back to normal. His face was filled with guilt and sorrow, “Guys, they…they found us.” We all look around as the dead surround us. We all huddled together, preparing to die, until someone on a great elk came to our rescue! He extended a chain that had fire at the end of it, killing them off. He sort of looked like Coldhands. We all looked up at him confused, “Who are you?”
“You all must come with me, now! The dead do not rest!”
We agreed to go with him, we took our belongings and go on the elk’s back. I was surprised that the elk was able to carry all of us, but if Hodor or Jojen were here, they wouldn’t have fit. I miss them.
We rode away from the dead and set camp. Meera and I had our guard up, not knowing if we should completely trust the man. He cooked rabbit for us and gave us the cooked meat. Bran laid his back against a tree as he held his baby dragon. “Do they eat rabbit?” Bran asked me. I gave my dragon a piece of the cooked rabbit and it ate it, “I think as long as the meat is cooked, they’ll eat anything they want.” He nodded and fed his dragon the meat.
Bran looked up at the mysterious person, “who are you?”
The man unmasked himself and the two of us gasp, “Uncle Benjen?” His face was gray with blemishes.
“What happened to you?” I asked.
“The last letter Jon wrote to me said you were lost beyond the wall!” Bran said.
He explained to us that his ranging party were attacked by white walkers and one stabbed him in the gut with their sword. The singers found him and stopped him from turning with their magic by using dragon glass and plunging it into his heart.
“You are the three-eyed raven now.” He told Bran.
“He taught me as much as he could,” Bran said, “but I still don’t feel like I am ready…”
“You will learn to control it before the Night King comes. You will be ready for him,” he then looks at me, “the both of you…”
We travelled with Uncle Benjen to the wall. We were almost there, but we stopped as we found a weirwood tree. “This is where I leave you,” he said. “But can’t you come with us?” I asked.
“The Wall is not just ice and stone. Ancient spells were carved into its foundations. Strong magic to protect men from what lies beyond. And while it stands, the dead cannot pass. I cannot pass,” he explained.
When Meera asked where he would go, he responded saying that he would do what he could to fight during the Long Night.
“Thank you, Uncle Benjen.” Bran said, sadly.
He nodded saying, “I wish all of you good fortune.” He jumped onto his elk and left.
Bran looked back at the weirwood tree and reached his hand out to it to have more visions. Meera and I stopped him asking, “are you sure you’re ready to do this?”
“I am the three-eyed raven now, I have to do this,” he replied. His touched the tree and his eyes went white.

the story (i was made for you)
Summary: On the Texas Plains, Cody and Ben meet. And they fall in love.
Tags: Cody/Obi-wan, Cody is a good bro, Cowboy AU, western, no major warnings
Word Count: 4k
~*~
The Texas plains are less quiet at night than people think they are. The insistent rustle of grass in the wind, the faraway howling of some nocturnal animal, the low buzz of insects, all these sounds fill the silence, a symphony of their own. When he first moved here, it was unnerving, how alive things always seemed. He was used to the city noise, the radio-static stoplights, and the constant hum of his brothers talking into the late hours.
Now, though, he’s used to it- he can’t sleep without it. Things are too still when it’s quiet, and the world seems to be passing him by while he stays stuck in the same place. He’ll never get used to the missing chaos of his family, but he figures that’s a part of being homesick.
That’s not something you ever get over, he thinks. No matter where he is, he’ll miss the soft-spoken, hard-truth complaints from Fox and the constant steadiness of Waxer beside him.
He has things to keep him company, though, when Rex isn’t here. First and foremost, he has Sunny, his brown and cream splattered paint, tied to a tree a few feet away. She’s his lone companion, most days, and she’s not too bad company. She can be temperamental and standoffish, but so can he. The fire going out, the wind howling in his ears, the coffee burning. Mundane observations that take the forefront of his mind without his permission.
Cody isn’t sure when Rex is going to be back; the town can be busy at this time of night. Or, at least, as busy as it gets. Usually, Cody wouldn’t mind going into town with Rex, but, like always, Rex seemed to know when Cody needs time to himself.
As the night grows more alive, Cody does too. He’s never been good at going to sleep or staying asleep for that matter.
He can’t see far into the distance, but he hears the sound of Rex approaching.
“Hey, bud,” Cody greets.
“You’re still awake? I thought you would at least be pretending to sleep by now.” Rex swings out of the saddle and his boots crunch on top of the dry soil. “And don’t say that weird shit about the night being alive.”
Cody chides, “Language,” and gets up to help with the unpacking. He doesn’t deny the accusation. “Did you get the-”
“I got everything you asked for, don’t worry. When have I ever let you down?” Cody doesn’t answer the question and focuses on sorting through the various cans of beans, fresh tortillas, and dried meats.
“You forgot chewing gum,” Cody mentions, after he’s done looking through the bag. “You’re going to bite your nails bloody, bud.”
“I didn’t forget, I already have it in my pocket.” Rex’s tone is off-hand as he tosses the gum to Cody. “Take a piece and give it back.”
The pink wrapper flashes in the light of Rex’s lamp. “This is bubblegum,” Cody says stupidly. “You hate bubblegum.”
“Yep.” Again, the off-hand tone. “I got the kind I liked last time. It was your turn.” Rex sets his palate down on the hard ground next to Cody, his green pillow almost brown at this point. He lays down on his back, his hat covering his eyes.
“You didn’t have to do that,” Cody protests. “You chew it more than I do.”
“I wanted to,” is all Rex says before he turns on his side and falls asleep. Cody knows he asked for this, knows that his own distance is the reason that Rex is acting the way he is, but it hurts nonetheless.
It’s hypocritical, the way Cody allows these things to hurt him. Rex is the only person he really has left anymore. He can’t let the little things wear him down, not when he has to be a model for Rex, not that he’s been a good role model all this time. But he knows what it means to look up to someone, knows the weight that it should carry on both ends.
He needs to live up to the legacy that Rex has built in his head.
But all anything seems to do out here is curl up and die.
~*~
The altruistic sun burns above him, giving its life for forms that it doesn’t know to exist. The waves of heat that distort the horizon cast a dreamlike state over the plains, brown trees and limitless yellow grass in every direction.
At first, he almost doesn’t see it. Shadows, however uncommon, blend in with the hazy land as if they were painted on with the barest brushstroke. But movement is undeniably present, and Cody knows what to look for. He knows what a person riding up on a horse looks like, and he knows it doesn’t always mean good news.
“Hold up,” he calls to Rex, putting his arm up in case he doesn’t hear. “There’s someone out there.”
“Really?” There’s excitement in Rex’s voice, an uncommon opportunity. Cody hates to be the person to always On the horizon, the man steps off his horse, patting it on the side before stopping to look at Cody. It seems as if he’s psyching himself up before he starts the long walk closer to them. It’s not an easy walk, but Cody figures that he’s trying to appear peaceful. As if anyone can really be peaceful out here.
He gets closer and Cody can make out more details. His reddish-brown hair glints in the sunlight almost like the sunlight itself, and even Cody with his eyesight can see the freckles that dot his nose. And his eyes, oh, his eyes. They’re the color of the ocean, with just as much depth. They’re cunning and smart, with laugh lines and stories to tell. He’s close enough now so that Cody can feel himself start to get nervous. It’s unavoidable, when there are so few people he’s used to seeing.
“Bud, get the horse.” Cody doesn’t look at Rex when he speaks, but he doesn’t need to. There’s no one else he would speak so gently to. No one else to speak to in general, besides the approaching figure.
“I want to stay here with you,” Rex argues, fiddling with the brim of his hat. “You can trust me.”
“I know I can,” Cody sighs. If only it were as easy as trust. “Get the horse. Now.”
“No.” The set of Rex’s shoulders is firm, set against the ever-dying orange sun.
“Do it,” Cody says, with eyes that cut like his voice does. Rex was raised to know when to listen and when to shut up. With a flash of his eyes, he turns on his heel and walks away, kicking up dust. The horses aren’t far away- he can hear them huffing against the dry air from where they're tied to a low wooden fence.
Finally, the man is close enough for his voice to carry. It’s gentler than it should be, in a place like this. “I’m Ben,” the man introduces in a soft, lilting accent. It doesn’t belong here. It belongs to those period dramas Cody’s mom used to watch with him and his brothers when they were sick. He always pretended not to like them, but he misses their inconsequential romance plots and pretty words.
“Who are they?” Cody asks bluntly, pointing to the two figures in the distance. “They’re with you?”
“Those are my kids, Anakin and Ahsoka.” Ben doesn’t wave them forward, but he doesn’t tell them to turn away either. “We’re just passing through, if you don’t mind.”
Cody shrugs. “It’s not my land.” He whistles sharply two notes in succession, signaling for Rex to bring the horses over. If they need to outrun these strangers, Cody’s sure that they’ll be faster. Ben nods and waves Anakin and Ahsoka forward. Warily, they make their way toward them. As they get closer, a sinking feeling settles low in Cody’s stomach. Anakin looks like he’s no more than 17, and Ahsoka looks younger. They’re both bone skinny, wearing clothes that don’t fit correctly.
Ahsoka dons a ratty blue coat that’s belted at the waist, roughly hewn, knife-cut notches visible from her. What seems to be a blue and orange ribbon is interwoven with her thick braids, faded from whatever past glory it faced. Her dark skin is dotted with lighter patches on her cheeks and forehead, and some memory helpfully supplies Vitiligo to Cody.
Anakin doesn’t look much better. His dark blue jean button-up fits better than Ahsoka’s, but it’s definitely seen better days. His jeans have holes in the knees and along the stitches, and his hat looks like it’s being held together by the piece of leather wrapped around it. The hollows of his cheeks are more pronounced than they should be, and his hair is matted with sweat along his neck.
Ahsoka steps down off her horse and sticks out a gloved hand to shake. “I’m Ahsoka, and this is Morai.” She points to her horse, a white mare with big, green eyes. It blinks slowly at him, indifferent to Ahsoka’s introduction.
Without waiting for Cody’s name, Anakin speaks up, staying on his horse. “I’m Anakin. This is Artoo.” Anakin’s horse, a gray quarter horse, shakes its mane and huffs, calming at Anakin’s touch.
Rex approaches Cody surely, not giving away if he’s as on edge as Cody is about the newcomers. He looks at Cody, who gives nothing away. Or, at least, he’s trying to give nothing away. Cody might not have the best poker face, but he knows for a fact that it’s better than these strangers, all brimming with excitement and curiosity. With a roll of his eyes, Rex sticks his hand out for Ben to shake and introduces himself. “I’m Rex, and that’s my brother Cody. He’s not as mean as he looks.”
“He doesn’t look mean,” Ben smiles, squinting against the sun and looking at Cody. “He’s simply cautious, as he should be.”
Cody has the strangest urge to thank Ben. He settles for asking, in the politest tone he can muster, “Are you new around here?”
“I’m not, but Ahsoka and Anakin are. I’ve been showing them the ropes, so to speak. Is it that obvious that we don’t know what we’re doing?” Ben, surprisingly, doesn’t have any trace of embarrassment in his voice, as so many would.
“Not at all,” Cody assures. He doesn’t say anything about how Ahsoka is riding too stiff and Anakin is too far back for such flat terrain. “You look like pros.”
“Really?” Ahsoka beams, her smile wider than the sun. Ben sends an appreciative look at Cody before turning to her and giving her a thumbs up.
“Sure you do, kid,” Rex chimes in. “You’re a real Butch Cassidy.”
“She doesn’t know who that is,” Anakin laughs, flipping Ahsoka off, to Ben’s apparent dismay. “Sorry, Ben.” Anakin doesn’t sound sorry at all.
“I don’t have to know who it is to know they’re a badass,” counters Ahsoka. She turns to Rex with a fierceness behind her gaze that Cody knows from his brothers. He can tell that Ahsoka and Anakin are fighters. They have the strong Fett set in their jaw and the determination in their eyes that Cody doesn’t see reflected in Ben. Mainly, Ben seems kind, but they had to learn it from someone. “Right?”
“Exactly,” Rex agrees. He spares a quick glance at Cody before guiding his horse closer to them. “Where are you on your way to? Most people don’t just wander along these parts.”
Ben starts to answer, but he’s cut off by Anakin’s louder voice. “Ben was going to take us to Mos Eisley.”
“The gambling town?” Cody asks skeptically. He didn’t take the three of them for the type of people to frequent places like Mos Eisley.
“No,” Ben corrects with a smile. “Just outside of there. I know a few people who live out there, and I thought it would be a good getaway for a while.”
Whatever Cody is going to say next is interrupted by the clapping of thunder, loud and rolling. All at once, the atmosphere has changed. It’s charged with wind and the smell before rain.
And electricity. He can feel it, the static creeping along his neck, making his skin stand on edge. Maybe it’s superstition, but he knows that they need to get out of here; this isn’t a thunderstorm that they can sit through underneath a tree. He can feel the air charge up to strike- lightning lighting up the sky.
“What was that?” Ahsoka asks, cocking her head to the side.
“We need to get out of the clear,” Rex explains. “It’s too dangerous to be out here in weather like this.” Cody notices how he doesn’t add that usually, they could outride it. Anakin and Ahsoka don’t seem like they could do that.
“We should find shelter,” Cody agrees. Him and Rex have seen lots of these kinds of storms, but even they know not to underestimate the danger. That’s how you end
“Where do we go?” Ben asks, looking at Cody for answers. It’s not the way his brothers look at him, though. With a raised brow, Ben isn’t asking for Cody to fix everything, he’s asking for an opinion, a solution.
Cody should tell Bell that most of the time in storms like this, it’s easiest to ride them out. Kick everything into high gear and outrun the weather. It’s not the most effective solution, and it definitely doesn’t always work, but it sure does free him. There’s nothing that makes him feel more powerful than leaving things behind him.
But he just doesn’t have the heart to say that and watch Ben’s crestfallen face. “I know a place that isn’t far,” he says; Cody can tell by the way the red clay road leads that they’re close.
Side by side, a party of five, they ride towards the sun and stop miles later at a blue-painted, white-shuttered house. There’s a key underneath the doormat, faded silver and hard to fit into the lock.
It was his grandmother’s house. The white lace doilies on the wall and the obnoxious pink curtains weren’t really his mother’s style. She always hated this house, but Rusty had a strange fascination with it when he was young. It transported him to a time when his parents didn’t exist, where the rivers and grass ran wild, undisturbed and undiscovered.
A layer of dust covers everything, the air thick with memories left untouched for years. He hasn’t been here since his grandmother's funeral, where his mother complained about getting the house in the will and his father was kind enough not to show up.
“What is this place?” Ahsoka asks, running a hand along the crooked oak banister.
“A tomb,” Cody answers, looking at the pictures on the walls. His parents, smiling at their wedding, looking young and free and happy. Him, in a white dress shirt one holiday, grinning with a missing tooth, his grandmother hugging him from behind, grace and beauty in her older age. A family picture of his extended family, looking like a Christmas card in their matching colors. After him, his parents never took any of their kids here. Fox and Cody are the only ones who even know this place exists. No one else got the warm hugs or the hot chocolate; they lived a childhood without any family besides their siblings, not that any of them ever complained that they weren’t enough of them.
The kids race off to explore, happy to have a roof over their heads and promised security for the night. The various rooms with their antique decorations and faded patterns supply ample imaginative space for them.
Cody wanders his way to the kitchen, Ben following behind him quietly. It’s just like the rest of the house, dust particles dancing in the air, mason jars full of preserves lining the shelves. Not knowing what to do with his hands, Cody goes to the sink and turns on. For a moment, the water runs a rusty brown color, but it clears out after a while. The taste of that clear, spring water fills Cody’s senses as he remembers all the times that his grandmother filled him a glass from the same faucet after he played out in the yard for hours.
“Is it hard being back here?” Ben asks kindly, standing beside him at the sink. Cody doesn’t have to ask him how he knows that this place is important to him. In fact, he’s almost positive that Ben has a similar place like this somewhere out there, gathering dust. “ I can imagine the memories it must bring back.”
“It’s too different to remind me of when she was alive,” Cody deflects. The truth, that he can’t stop looking around corners for a weathered face and long braids, hurts too much to admit. “Being at my parent’s house would be harder.” He’s not sure why he offers that piece of information; he hardly ever talks about home, especially about missing home.
“I’m sure. It must have been hard to leave your family.” Ben’s consoling voice digs deep into Cody, some part of him that remains unscratched by his regrets.
“Sometimes the need to escape outweighs the need to stay,” Cody responds, a bite in his tone. “I left because I had to.”
“Of course,” Ben agrees with a knowing smile. “Home can only stay such for so long. You couldn’t possibly know how well I know that.” Cody doesn’t have anything to say in response to that, so he keeps washing the dirt from underneath his fingernails and staring out the window. It’s easier to look out at the landscape than Ben’s eyes, although he would rather stare into the lovely blue of eyes.
Ben breaks the silence, bumping his shoulder with Cody’s before offering his own confession.“I found Anakin behind metal jail cell bars a year ago, wasting away with every call for lights out. I saw something of myself in him, and my mentor implored me to reach out, to be a provider for a messed up kid.” Anakin, Cody thinks, has more behind him than most people do. The set in his jaw, the reflected haunted look in his eye, they’re too old for his young frame.
“Your mentor sounds like a good person,” Cody responds, trying to get more information but not be rude about it. It’s hard to stop himself, though, when all he wants to do is know more about Ben.
There’s conflict on Ben’s face, but it settles with a sad smile. “He was a kind man, and he cared deeply for me, that I don’t doubt. But he was frustrating at times, which I still feel bad about saying since he passed.”
“I’m sorry to hear that,” Cody says. “How long ago did he pass?” Cody just wants to know more, at this point. Ben’s voice, his past, Cody wants it all in the most unfair way possible.
“5 years ago. It feels longer, though. I mean, as soon as it happened I was the one taking care of Anakin, and I had absolutely no idea how to. That dulled the pain for a long time.” Hesitantly, Ben continues, looking down at his own hands. “I don’t think that I was the best person for Anakin then. It’s hard to be sure that I am now.”
Cody, despite his best efforts, lets out a huff and looks at Ben. “I may not be the best judge of parents, but I see the way that Anakin looks up to you. From what I can tell, you’re his sun and moon.”
“Oh,” Ben grins, trying to hide his pleased look. “That’s nothing to how Rex follows you. I didn’t have any siblings, but I know that you’re quite the older brother for him.”
“I try,” Cody responds. He turns the water off and dries his hands on the old towel still hanging next to the soap. “I couldn’t leave him at home.”
“That bad?” Ben asks, but there’s no judgment in his tone. Cody wonders if there ever is. Probably not, based on the way Ben seems to know what it’s like to not have a home you want to go back to.
“Yeah, that bad.” Cody loves his family. His mother’s strong voice and his father’s strength that held them up for so long are ingrained inside of him stronger than anything else. But there was only so long he could stay there, in that tiny house filled with people who always had so many expectations. He was taught at a young age how to survive, how to ride a horse fast and hard if he was ever in trouble, how to tie knots that won’t break, and how to avoid having emotions get in the way. Those lessons make up who he is today, but they’re also the reason he can’t seem to hold on to anything.
Rex doesn’t count. He’s always been by Cody’s side, even in the hardest times. It’s why he could never have left Rex like he left the rest of them.
There’s a lull in the conversation where Cody sneaks glances at Ben from the corner of his eyes, trying to be at least a little conspicuous.
Cody’s not one to be poetic. He prefers the quiet, easy moments with his family instead, where he doesn’t have to say anything and everyone is on the same page. But Ben makes him want to try to be romantic, to try to say something special that encompasses all of the wonderful, overwhelming things about Ben.
Cody also can’t help but notice the cut of Ben’s jaw, the grey of his eyes, the reddish-gold in his hair, they’re all softer in this light. Ben looks younger now than he does under the harsh sunshine, the lines of his face relaxed, the squint of his eyes less pronounced. But his smile stays the same, warm and inviting.
The storm outside flashes and rolls, the wind whipping against the shutters and whistling through the cracks in the wood, but it’s safe here with Ben. The ghosts have died down to a whisper and Cody, for a moment, lets himself relax into the peace.
He takes a deep breath and hears the kids laughing upstairs somewhere. It’s the first time he’s heard Rex laugh like that in a long time. He’s missed that sound.
“We can take you to Mos Eisley,” Cody says after a while. He keeps his voice quiet, trying to emulate Ben’s tone as best he can. He doesn’t know why or how, but he wants to let Ben see that he can be more than a rough hand or a decent older brother.
“Really?” Ben asks, tilting his head to the side. It doesn’t look like he actually believes Cody, which Cody can’t blame him for. It came out of nowhere.
Cody tries to backtrack and make it make sense, although he’s not sure how much he can salvage at this point. “I’ve been meaning to take Rex that way for a while, and with the number of kids we have with us, it might be best to stay together for a while. Not to say that you can’t take care of-”
“Cody,” Ben interrupts, grinning. If Cody was going to try and say anything more, that stops him in his tracks. Ben should smile more, Cody thinks. It suits him much more than the vaguely worried expression that he frequents. “If you really mean that-”
“I do,” Cody assures him, reaching out to clasp Ben’s shoulder. It’s awkward and it lasts too long, but Ben doesn’t seem to mind.
“Then I would be thrilled to accompany you. I know Ahsoka and Anakin would love to talk to someone else besides me, and it would be nice to be in the company of someone so generous.” Cody’s never considered himself a generous person, but if Ben says he is then maybe it’s true.
His courage briefly ignited, Cody holds out his hand for Ben to take as he asks another question, meeting Ben’s eyes with his own. “Would you then also care to join me for dinner? I can see what we can find here. The house should still have a standing table somewhere.”
Ben’s smile grows, meeting his eyes and sending butterflies flying through Cody’s fingertips. “I would love to.”

Pairing: Bakugou x Fem!Reader
Pirate's Treasure Masterlist
You and Bakugou sit by a crackling fire, the flames casting a warm glow over the campsite. He quietly prepares freshly caught fish, skewering them with practiced precision. The scent of the sea mixes with the aroma of the cooking fish, a delicious and familiar combination. You can't help but think back to the many meals you had made with your grandpa back at home.
Bakugou's rough hands skillfully handle the fish. His touch is surprisingly gentle.
"I'm impressed."
He looks up at you. "At what?"
"You're pretty good at cooking," you say. "Do you always eat fish?"
Bakugou nods. "I've been fishing for as long as I can remember."
"It's been a while since I last went fishing," you muse, nostalgic memories filling your head.
But Bakugou doesn't answer. Instead, he just mutters "It'll be ready soon," as he flips the fish with a flick of his wrist.
After a few minutes, the food is ready. Bakugou hands you a skewer. "Eat up."
You take a bite, the tender meat melting on your tongue. You swallow, then grin. "Wow! This is pretty good!"
"Yeah, it is," Bakugou agrees.
The two of you continue to eat in silence, listening to the crackling fire and the sounds of the island. The moon slowly rises above the horizon, casting a cool glow over the camp just outside the old ship. The stars shine brightly in the clear night sky, like a sea of twinkling lights.
The campfire begins to die out, but the moon continues to cast its ethereal glow. It's a beautiful sight.
"Your island has a really great view," you say.
"I'm glad you like it," Bakugou says quietly.
"You know, Bakugou, I never did ask. How long have you been on this island?"
Bakugou stares deeply into the campfire. "Since I was a kid."
"Really? That's a long time to be stuck in one place. How do you survive out here all by yourself?"
Bakugou sighs and turns toward you. "I was cursed here. How did I survive? I have no damn clue."
You stare at him. "Oh..."
"Back when I was a kid I was a member of a pirate crew that sought the treasure here. Technically, I was captain, but it didn't matter much since they all treated me like the bratty kid that I was."
"Was this before or after you were cursed?"
"Before. Once we found the treasure, a terrible curse was unleashed. When we returned to our ship, a huge storm had rolled in and the ship was being torn apart by the waves. The storm was so powerful that I was washed away and lost consciousness. By the time I came to, I was already stranded here, completely alone."
"Wow, Bakugou. That's awful."
"Yeah, well, that's how it is."
"So the crew...did they...?"
"All dead," Bakugou says, voice grim. "And I am cursed to stay here until my dying day."
"Bakugou... I'm sorry."
Bakugou shrugs. "It's not your fault."
"I can't imagine how hard that must have been for you," you say.
"Whatever. It's done."
"So, you were just a kid when this happened?"
"Yep."
"How did you even get involved with a pirate crew? And how did you even become captain?"
"My family had always been a part of piracy," Bakugou explains. "My parents were captains, and my grandpa was the one who taught me everything. When I was a kid, I used to sail on their ships. But then they disappeared. After that, I didn't have a family anymore. I became an orphan."
"Oh... I'm sorry to hear that," you say.
"Well, what else was I supposed to do? I was an orphan. No one would take care of me."
"Yeah, but... you were just a kid."
"Like I said, what else was I supposed to do?"
You sigh. "Hey, Bakugou," you then call out, thinking aloud. "How do you know you can't leave the island?"
"What?"
"I mean, why can't you just take my boat and leave? You can't, can you?"
Bakugou looks at you incredulously. "Do you have any idea what you're asking?"
"Sure. You said it yourself, didn't you? You can't leave the island without risking death. But how do you know that?"
"It's because of the curse," he says. "It's not safe. If I go past the boundaries, the curse will take hold and I'll be forced to return. There's no way to escape."
"What will happen?"
"It'll be like...a siren call," Bakugou tries to explain. "My body will be pulled back here, to the island."
"You won't die, though, will you?"
"No, but I'll be pulled back. I can't escape it."
"That's...terrible," you say. "You've been here all this time, trapped."
"Yeah," Bakugou agrees, then pauses, as if lost in thought. "But I try not to think about it too much. I just living day-to-day, trying to survive. I don't bother worrying about escape. It was easier to pretend it didn't matter."
"Then why try to find the treasure?" you ask. "Why bother?"
"I just...wanted to do something, anything. I've been stuck here for years, and I felt like I needed to prove to myself that I could do something, even if it was pointless."
"So, do you even want to leave?" you then ask hesitantly.
"Not really, no," Bakugou admits. "To be honest, I doubt we're going to find anything, Y/N. This treasure hunt is just a fantasy, and even if it weren't, what makes you think one of us won't cross the other?"
"I suppose that's a valid point," you agree. "But we're here, right? We might as well try."
"Yeah, guess so."
"You know, you don't have to come with me," you offer. "You can stay here if you want."
"What? No, you're my prisoner, remember? I'm coming."
"Okay, but you can stop at any time. You don't have to do this if it's too hard..."
After that, the two of you sit silently together for a while, watching the flames dance in the fire. It's getting late, but the sky is still bright with stars.
You can't help but yawn. You're tired.
"It's getting late. You should probably get some rest," Bakugou then says.
"Yeah, I'm kind of beat," you admit.
"Go ahead, I'll watch the camp."
"Alright, thanks."
With that, you stand and head into the ship. You find the sailors' quarters, which has a small bed and a chest. You pull the covers over yourself and drift off to sleep.

Fiasco of BBQ
A.N: Since I started the game, I’ve always had this in the back of my head. Inspired by Robe Epel vignette. Since I got him at the start of the game, I wanted to wait to learn Vil and Rook before writing. So after a year, I finally have this crackpot story with my TWST OC Mia.
Twisted Wonderland Masterlist
——————————————————
Mia barely reacted when the Ramshackle Dorm door opened and then shut promptly. Within a blink, she had Epel standing over the counter in the kitchen.
“Is it here?” he asked, his eyes wide, searching.
Mia had already opened the box, and the bag within.
His eyes shined, “BBQ!!”
Mia giggled, “Yep, the package of BBQ your grandma sent is here along with a couple bottles of apple juice!”
But Epel had no eyes for the juice as he licked his lips. Mia had already taken the initiative to began plating the food and slide a plate towards Epel.
“Sank vus, ‘ia!!” Epel cried around a bite of barbecue.
“I can’t take this anymore!! Epel, I want a piece!!” Grim finally busted out from where he had been hovering moodily.
“Elp, o’selves!”
“I would have, but Mia said I had to ask!”
“It’s call manners, Grim! His grandmother sent this for him, not you!”
“And yet, it’s in our dorm.”
“You know if he had his grandma sent it to Pomefiore, Vil would confiscate it. We came up with this hush-hush plan.” Mia stated with a roll of her eyes.
“Yes, you didn’t even tell me!!”
“We had a need for secrecy, something you know nothing about, my little Grimling.”
“Ah! Never mind that!!” Grim waved it away, “I will help myself to a piece as a token of my kindness of allowing this dorm to be used as a base.”
“Now you sound like the Headmage”, Mia murmured before snapping, “Only two pieces, Grim!! This is Epel’s! Get it straight!!”
“Just two?!” Grim shrieked as he had picked up a bone in each hand.
Mia rolled his eyes. Typical of Grim, to worry about the amount of food he could get when he only had two hands and one mouth.
Epel only grinned, “It’s fine! Boy howdy, am I grateful for you being my partner in crime, Mia. I appreciate it. I haven’t had BBQ since I’ve enrolled! And I couldn’t disrespect Meemaw and not eat it, could I?”
Mia laughed as she poured a glass of juice for Epel, “Whatever helps you sleep at night, Epel.”
Epel pointed at the box before taking another bite, “Make sure you have some too, Mia. It’s the least I can do! And it’s great to just eat without have to follow stuffy protocol!”
Mia turned to plate her some when she gasped in horror, “It’s Vil!! And Rook is right behind him!”
Epel choked, “What?! Wait, what do I do?”
“About what?” Grim asked lazily.
“If Vil finds me…wait, I’m not finished yet!” Epel seemed more panic about not having finished eating, then Vil finding him as his eyes became larger than his head.
“Grim, quick! Stall them!” Mia grabbed the cups and the juice and told Epel to pick up his plate and the box of barbecue.
“Why do I have to?” groused Grim, “What am I supposed to do? Hey!! Why are you taking my plate?!”
“Just stall 'em and if they want to enter. Let them!”
“What are we doing?” Epel cried.
“With me!” Mia cried before running off, followed by Epel.
A firm knock on the door resounded before Grim grumbled and went to answer it.
“What?” he snarked when he threw open the door.
Vil only eyed him, “I take it from the stench that a wayward henchmen has made off with the goods.”
Grim only blinked, “What?”
“Don’t play, dumb, Grim. Where is Epel? I need to have a word.”
“Such a passionate stirring I felt as we walked up.” Rook commented, “There was a shift in the wind.”
“Over a box of meat?” Vil questioned, “Does that really require passion? Never mind, clearly he needs passion to stop from stuffing himself.”
“Are you coming or going?” Grim asked drolly, “I have food to get back to.”
“I shall stay a moment.”
“Suit yourself. Mia said all I had to do was stall you. I did my job, so I’m going back to my food. MIA, WHERE IS MY BBQ BONE?!”
Vil winced at the volume and reached up to massage his temple once, “For the love of….”
Rook clapped once, “Quite a set of lungs, Grim. Beaute! I give it 100 points!!”
Vil just glared over his shoulder at Rook before stepping into the dorm. He made a beeline for the kitchen but as expected, Mia and Epel weren’t there. He could see them running around from the window as he walked up.
All he had to do was follow the stench.
His heels clacked as he walked up the stairs.
“Mia! I did my job! Give me my plate!”
Vil heard Grim and followed the voice. It led him to an open door. Huh, this was Mia’s room.
She was laying on the bed, nonchalantly, reading a book.
She looked up when Vil stepped into the doorway, “Oh, hey Vil. What brings you by?”
Vil just glared at her before looking over at Epel who was sitting on the floor. He froze once before grinning and biting off a huge hunk of meat, “O’ey Vil!! Wa’t some? I’s good!!”
Vil saw the challenge in Epel’s eyes. He clearly thought himself safe. Rook only looked on, amused. He was quite eager to see how this was going to play out.
“So, what do we have here?” Vil’s voice was deceptively calm, “Mia, I never thought you would be roped into such foolishness.”
Mia put the book on the dresser as she sat up and crossed her legs over the side of the bed, “What do you mean?”
“Let’s not play games, Mia. You deliberately helped Epel smuggle this into his system. The amount he’s eating will take some time to make right.”
“You make it sound as if he's doing drugs or something.”
Vil crossed his arms,“Or something.”
“That’s great. Look, this is a Pomefiore problem and as a Ramshackle student I don’t have any say in the matter. Just one tiny thing I want to bring your attention to, dorm leader. You are in Ramshackle Dorm, so the food is now property of said dorm.”
Grim crowed, “If need be, I don’t mind hiding the contraband!”
Mia ignored him and continued, “But more importantly, this is my room and to get Epel, you need to come in, which you don’t have permission to do. So we need to ask ourselves, is Vil Schoenheit, the type of gentleman to walk into a lady's room uninvited? What would the Fair Queen think about that?”
Epel kept eating as Mia talked, but he could see a storm of fury descend upon a Vil, but as ever, he kept in control. He saw the slight twitching of his eyebrow. Mia was really pushing the limits. He had been quite shocked to see that Mia’s plan involved hiding him in her room.
Well, not really hiding him, persay.
At first, he was a little flabbergasted as he nor any of the other boys had ever set foot in her room, not even when they stayed over for the SDC. He didn’t quite know where Mia was going with this, but she pointed to the floor and told him to finish his food and leave the rest to her.
So this was the rest?
Epel cackled deep in his heart but he couldn’t help the grin as he continued to eat. This was really some of the best BBQ he had in quite some time.
And there was a show to go with it? Ha-ha!!
“Oooh lala!! Merveilleux!! You were quick to use your wits to force such a stalemate! To enter would be to spit in the face of the Fair Queen, as it would not be a thing of beauty at all!” Rook cried, almost twirling in place, “Well played, Mia, Epel!! Well played!!”
Vil just glowered at Rook over his shoulder. He did not need the commentary at the moment, thank you very much!
Rook was undeterred, “What is the Fair Queen to do?”
Vil slowly fixed his glare back on Epel as his voice was deceptively sweet, “You have to come out of this room sometime. Either to go home or to go to the restroom. This will only afford you a few hours at most.”
Epel shuddered once before holding his chin up, “I already went to the restroom before coming, and it’s enough time to eat the food my precious Meemaw sent.”
Vil was steely eyed, “Epel, when I get done with you, you will have regrets, I promise you.”
Epel glared, “Do your worst!” He took a big bite and purposely chewed sloppy.
Mia held back her laughter, dropping her chin.
“As for you….”
Her head snapped back to Vil as she gave a serene smile.
“....You are correct. This is a stalemate. One I will not even break if he comes out this room. He is on Ramshackle terrority and unfortunatly that means, as prefect, you have the final say. I won’t break this stalemate until he comes out of this dorm. To that end...Rook….” Vil turned around gracefully and Rook mocked bowed, “....you are to stationed here until he deems himself to come out. After that, you are to drag him back to our dorm. You are free to use any method at your disposal!”
“It will be as you command, your highness!”
Mia really did snort then. She couldn’t believe barbecue meat warranted all this. This was almost the start of a civil war.
With a parting dark glare into the room, Vil turned and walked out.
Rook lingered in the doorway, “Was it worth it, young Epel?”
“Want a piece, Rook?”
Rook shook his head, “Ahh, if Vil smelled such on me, I would be in just as much trouble as you. I do not wish to incur his wrath for myself. Although….100 points! Beaute!! Now, I shall see you after you are finish. And I hope you make it worth my while and allow me to give chase.” Rook gave a mock bow before his eyes glittered with a challenge, as he gave a wink.
Epel waved a bone, “Of course. You’ll drag me kicking and screaming, promise! After I finish....”
“And madamosielle Trickster, good day to you!” Rook cried before exiting the premise.
When they were gone, Mia heaved a sigh as she flopped back on her bed, “I was only 99% that was going to work.”
“I will never, NEVER forget the look on Vil’s face.” laughed Epel, “You bested him, Mia!! Thank you!! Though, I hate that I dragged you into this. I honestly didn’t think he would come after me like that.”
At worst he had prepared to return to the dorm to face his punishment. Not his punishment actively seeking him out.
“Thank me with a bone!”, Mia stated hopping off the bed and coming and sitting down on the floor, “All this chaos and I haven’t even tasted it yet!”
“I want more!!” Grim whined.
“Can it, you glutton!!” snapped Mia.
“Let’s see, I think Grim can have one more!” Epel stated, peering into the box.
About an hour later, they had their fill and still had some BBQ left over. They were nursing their cup of juice as Epel glanced at the leftovers, “I’m giving the rest to ya’ll.”
Grim cheered as Mia asked, “You sure?”
“Positive! Besides, my punishment will begin as soon as I’m dragged to the dorm. I don’t expect to see daylight for a while. Vil will certainly put Rook on my tail. I think that’s how he got the drop so fast. Rook probably notice and reported me. As such, good food shouldn’t be wasted. And besides, I’ve had my fill. It will be enough until the foreseeable future!”
Epel said all of this as he stood with a smile and began to stretch out his body. Mia looked up at him, “You sure are calm about all of this!”
“I’ve long since made my peace!” A grin spread on Epel’s face, “Now, I think it’s time to give chase!! Time to put that hunter on his toes!”
“You can go out the window…” Mia offered standing.
“Please, Rook is waiting under it.”
“What, how do you know?” Mia moved to look out the window.
Sure enough, Rook gave a wave when he saw her. She balked at this.
Was he there the entire time?
“How did you know?” Mia asked, looking back at Epel as he moved to the doorway.
“That would be too elementary. Rook would be disappointed if I made it that easy for him. No, I will slip out the back and give him a chase in the woods. He’ll probably catch me in five minutes, ten minutes if I make it fun for him. Time to test my prowess and work some of this food down. Thank you, Mia!! Wait, where are my manners, let me help you clean up! I’m safe as long as I’m in this dorm, after all.”
Mia laughed and waved him off, “No big deal! I think you shouldn’t prolong this any longer. I’ll clean up. Just….don’t die too much on me. I want to be able to recognize you tomorrow.”
Epel hesistated, “You sure?!”
Mia nodded once.
“Alright!” Epel cracked his neck and fingers, “See if Rook will let you stall him. I’m off!!”
Epel flew out of Mia’s room, when she opened the window.
“Young Epel, has gone out of the back, hasn’t he?”
Mia cocked her head once. This man was good. She hadn’t even said anything.
“Good, I will give him a two-minute head start. It’s only fair to have a beautiful game, no?”
“Why is that human running into the woods?” a voice muttered, “I hope Mia is okay.”
“Roi des Dragons, Mia is just fine! See! That is Epel, who is poised to try to give me a challenge. So I must bid the two of you adieu. The hunt is on!!!” Rook cried before turning and running past Malleus who just blinked at all this.
Malleus looked up at the window.
“Hey Tsunotarou….” Mia called down, leaning on the window sill.
“Child of Man, is everything alright? I was just walking around when I saw that young human dart into the forest as if a force of nature was propelling him. I was just going to ring the doorbell to alert you and make sure you were alright, but then….” he just trailed off, unable to make any sense of Rook’s words.
Mia giggled, “No prob. Just a whole thing. Nothing to concern yourself with. Just a fiasco of BBQ.”
Malleus blinked, “A fiasco of….BBQ?”
He barely understood the words separately, much less together.
“Hey, you still walking?”
“Hm.”
“Mind if I join you?”
Malleus smiled as his green eyes glittered, “I would enjoy your company very much!!”

BREAKFAST IN BED - FIC (read below link)
Karkat had been hard at work for several hours preparing breakfast for his human boyfriend/matesprail. He had been assured by Kanaya that Dave would love it, though he wasn’t entirely certain what humans saw as breakfast food. Still, he had gotten the idea around five in the morning when he still couldn’t sleep. It wasn’t like he ever got tired of cuddling with Dave, but, for all his assholery, he wanted to do something nice. He knew that he could be abrasive, so he tried his best to make sure Dave knew he was serious about him. Of course, it helped that he was one of the only ones on the meteor who knew how to cook.
Humming a human pop song to himself, he finished cooking the “steak” he had alchemized, knowing that humans couldn’t exactly eat raw meat. He found it a bit funny, but definitely didn’t want to make one of the many, many, many mistakes that seemed to make humans sick. Even god tier ones.
Having seen this meal in a human rom-com, he had deemed it romantic enough to make for breakfast. By the time he had finished the full meal, several hours later, he had managed to alchemize a covered serving dish and some flowers too, just like in the movie.
Placing everything on the tray, he carefully made his way to his respiteblock, where he knew Dave was asleep, appreciating the quiet of the meteor at the early hour. Making his way into the room, he paused slightly, blood-pusher giving a little jump at the way Dave hugged the pillow to his chest.
Karkat cleared his throat softly, trying to keep his voice uncharacteristically gentle so as not to startle him awake.
“Dave?” He whispered a bit hesitantly, suddenly feeling very vulnerable. Just because he hadn’t gotten any sleep didn’t mean he should deprive his human boyfriend of it. Karkat set down the tray, beginning to wonder if he had been selfish, as usual. Maybe this had been a bad idea after all. He cursed under his breath, running a hand through his hair and messing with the hem of his sweater.
“Dave,” he repeated, a bit louder. Still no response. Deciding to try a different approach, he shuffled closer, ignoring the nagging feeling that this had been a bad idea. He pressed a kiss to Dave’s forehead, gently brushing his boyfriend’s hair out of his face.
At that, Dave wrinkled his nose slightly. His eyes fluttered open, and he squinted up at the other.
“Hey, ‘Kat,” he yawned, “'s early,” he mumbled.
“Uh- yeah,” replied Karkat, shifting his weight from foot to foot. “I made you breakfast,” he said, his tone as though he had gotten caught doing something bad.
That woke Dave up.
“Really? Oh hell yeah, thanks!” He sat up, rubbing his eyes tiredly. “That’s really sweet of you.”
Karkat fought back a slight smile, glad that he was pleased. He nodded, grabbing the tray and setting it in Dave’s lap.
“Yep, simmered barkbeast!” Karkat joked, crawling to sit next to Dave in bed.
Dave did a double take, eyes widening slightly.
“Wait- what?”
“Kidding, it’s ‘steak,’ for humans. I alchemized a human cookbook after seeing it in a movie we watched.” Karkat laughed softly to himself at Dave’s reaction before pausing. “I hope it’s okay.”
Dave took a bite enthusiastically.
“It’s great, thanks Karkles,” he ruffled Karkat’s hair.
Karkat narrowed his eyes slightly at the nickname.
“I can still take it back, asswipe,” he huffed, trying to fix his already unruly hair. There was no real malice behind the comment.
Dave laughed, and Karkat bit back another smile, leaning into his side.
After a few minutes of quiet conversation, Dave finished and set the tray aside as Karkat stifled a yawn.
“How much did you sleep last night? It’s like- exactly seven o’ two. This must have taken you several hours,” Dave questioned, noticing the increased prominence of the bags under Karkat’s eyes.
“I didn’t,” he admitted, chewing his bottom lip.
Dave stared at his lips and the sharpness of his teeth for a few seconds before snapping out of it. They could kiss later.
“The night before?” Dave asked, brushing his thumb over Karkat’s lower lip.
“Not many,” he yawned again. “You know how I get though, I’ll be okay.”
Dave raised an eyebrow. “Not many-? Babe, you should get some sleep.”
Karkat just flipped him off, though with no real meaning behind the gesture. “There’s things to do though, I have humans to kiss,” he whined, leaning a bit closer.
Dave found his glance back on Karkat’s lips, and he was quiet for a moment. Finally, he spoke up, forcing himself to meet his eyes again.
“Listen, you know me. I am all about quality smooching time. I am all over that like you wouldn’t believe. I’m all over that like marinara is all over pasta, you know, I’m-” Dave stopped himself before he started to ramble, “-you get it.”
Karkat furrowed his brows. “Not really. What’s marinara?”
Dave laughed. “It’s- well, it doesn’t matter. The point is, as much as I’d like to kiss in bed all day, you need to get some sleep.”
Karkat frowned. “I’ll lay down and cuddle you, but that doesn’t mean I’ll sleep. And I’ll only do it for a kiss. A real one.”
“You drive a hard bargain, Mr. Vantas,” replied Dave, cupping his face and kissing him deeply.
Karkat hummed, glad to have gotten his way. He eagerly reciprocated the kiss, bringing a hand to the back of Dave’s head and tangling it in his hair.
After a few minutes, Dave reluctantly pulled away, pressing one last kiss to his forehead.
“Alright ‘Kat, sleep time.”
Karkat groaned, rolling his eyes, but he laid down anyway, wrapping his arms around Dave’s waist. He glanced nervously up at the vents, as he usually did before sleeping, and then looked back at Dave.
“And you’ll be here?”
“Always,” replied Dave softly.
A few minutes later, Karkat was fast asleep, a soft purr emanating from his chest, and Dave was sure he had never been happier.

Yep, definitely made this all for him but he will of course humor her rather shy disposition and give her a smile before taking another bite out of the potatoes. “Mmmhh.” He hums with delight as it simply melts in his mouth and the amount of garlic used for the steak was to perfection. “Such a wonderful cook, if you ever struggle to keep a job one day know there’s a place for you in my restaurant.” Even if his restaurant was nothing more than a front to house the activities he performs after and before dark, it was still a restaurant on its way to being the best.

“Artemis, please..sit and enjoy this meal with me.” He spoke with a smile, inviting her to eat alongside him. Granted for the most part it was obvious that sinbad is enjoying himself by the way he scarves down his food. It was almost beast like of how quick the meat had disappeared from its plate, leaving behind just the juices from its sauce, the potatoes and the steamed veggies soon met their fate into his stomach before sat back with a satisfied smile on his face, little crumbs of food on the side of his lips. “Now that was a great meal, be careful Artemis. I might not be the marrying sort but for cooking like this I’d definitely pull you out of ‘the market’ as they say.”
