Ramona Flowers Vs The 6 1/2 Evil Ex's of Scott Pilgrim

-Ramona moved to Toronto, Canada to get away from relationship drama, not get involved in more of it. But when this dweeby guy named Scott Pilgrim starts to flirt with her she doesn't see the harm in starting to date him.

-Only it's not as easy as she thought. Turns out he has 6 1/2 evil exs (which he claims to not have known about) who are all determined to stop them from dating.

Ramona: 6 and a 1/2? What's the and a 1/2?

Scott: Honestly have no idea...I've only dated like 6 people...I think.

-The first ex is his band mate Kim Pines he dated back in highschool. It wasn't anything serious but she's still pissed. Fighting Ramona the night of their first major gig.

-The second ex, Julie Powers can attack anyone with her words. Literally, somehow her words can manifest physically (don't ask how, she won't say).

-Knives Chau is 17 and Scott's most recent ex. She's still kind of broken up about it but she's learned to fight since.

Ramona: She's 17.

Scott: Yeah...

Ramona: You're 22.

Ramona: That's a little weird.

Scott: Yeah...

-Scott says Exs instead of ex girlfriends. That's because of his roommate Wallace Wells. He fights with the help of his new boyfriends. One of which who is also named Scott. (It's not weird, shut up.)

Scott: I was just experimenting!

Wallace: Yeah well does this look like an experiment to you?

-That answers one question. The other is the "and a 1/2". That's Scott's sister Stacey. She's not an ex, she just really thinks that Ramona deserves better than Scott.

Scott: Please don't actually vanquish my sister, my parents would kill me if they found out.

-Stacey Pilgrim was not vanquished.

-The last exs are both in the band The Clash at Demonhead. Tamera Chen and Envy Adams. Both of which Scott dated before they became famous, and both of which he didn't have any idea they knew each other.

-The fight isn't fair, two against one and Scott has to help coach Ramona through their weaknesses.

Scott: Hit Envy behind the knees!

Ramona: Why?

Scott: It's her weak point! When we used to make out I'd-

Ramona: Okay, I get it.

-And that's it! Well at least until the man who set this all up shows up and is revealed to be someone from Ramona's past. A past she has to confront when Scott is kidnapped.

Every kill The Kid makes that isn't random chasers/security has something symbolic tied to it. I didn't notice this the first time, but now that I think about it, this is pretty significant!

I love how in Monkey Man, when Dev Patel is fighting the brothel owner, he's just fighting because the guy started it. But as soon as he sees the little girl there? The implication? He instantly goes batshit and is ready to kill this motherfucker, chase be damned.

This and the scene where he takes a running start towards the window, and it turns out to be plexi glass, so he just falls down. And he just sits there and stares for a second before getting up and running. I can't wait for both of these scenes to be giffed.

Also that one moment in the fighting ring with the one kick and the crowd going silent made me laugh so fucking hard. I was the only one laughing in my theater.

Do you guys remember that show 6Teen? I distinctly remember an episode where the Rent a Cop thought Wyatt and Jonesy were dating, and he told Wyatt he could do so much better. Jonesy was so offended, and it gave me an idea.

Peter Parker is seen hanging around the same places as Spider-Man and somehow manages to get up close and personal shots of the hero when no one else can. So J Jonah Jameson can only come to one conclusion. Parker is dating the Spider Menace. What other explanation could there be?

He pulls Peter aside, and at first, he's panicked. JJ definitely knows his secret identity. When the man grabs him by his shoulders, Peter thinks it's over. At least until the man sighs and shakes his head.

"Parker, son, you can do so much better."

"Ugh...what?"

Of course, Peter is offended. But what else is he supposed to say? Actually, I'm Spider-Man? No way. And of course, word gets around the office that Peter Parker is dating Spider-Man and things kind of spiral from there as hijinks ensue.

Now imagine Billy's surprise when Jonathan comes back to town with his childhood friend Argyle. They're so excited to see each other and catch up, but Eddie's *pissed*. He is completely convinced this new guy is trying to steal his boyfriend. Argyle is a bro and would never do that, but Eddie is jealous with a capital J. Eddie's not angry at Billy, but he does become a lot more physical with him to remind everyone that Billy's his boyfriend.

That scene where a dude gets his dick chopped off to the tune of "On the Wings of Love" while it flew through the air in shadow is truly one of the best scenes from recent cinema. Just, absolutely perfect.

For the Horror Fam au instead of Santa the kids are visited by Krampus and of course he gives them spooky toys every year and this year is no different

-a little angel doll for Carrie that sings Catholic hymns

-a white dog plushie for Angela that will definitely help kill for you if you want to

-a monster high doll for Samara

And for Sam a Frankenstein and werewolf action figure

It's all normal spooky stuff for the kids except Carrie's porcelain angel doll that even Pamela finds a bit unnerving. Especially when it starts popping up in places it shouldn't be. Billy swears he broke the damn thing, but it always shows up back in Carrie's room, just fine.
