Do you live creatively, or do you play it safe? The road to enlightenment is one that not many will take, because it requires courage, faith, creativity, inspiration. You might look foolish. You will most likely have to do things differently than your neighbor. You will be required to use intuition and free will in harmony with each other.

But the payoff is awe-inspiring. You will know who you truly are, deep down, at your core. You will experience things that few others have managed. Your understanding and experience of beauty and love and Spirit will know no bounds.

Try living creatively for a day. Listen to your heart and ignore your negative ego when it tells you that you can’t or gives you messages of fear. Take some risks, do something new, or do an old thing in a new way. Stretch a little. Do things as if no one were watching you. Speak your Truth. Make decisions that are interesting but generally out of character with how you usually are, just to see what that feels like.

Pay attention to how you feel at the end of the day.

The beauty of self confidence

For the first time in a really long time, I could see a very beautiful, worthy, sweet person when I was looking in the mirror. I was moved by my self confidence, as it had never been more present.

It was true what I had been reading and hearing: your self confidence comes from within. It doesn’t depend on your appearance or on how you were born. You can control it! I had always been very insecure about my appearance, and for the first time ever, I could see that I was beautiful, no matter what.

When I realized that I (and nobody else) have control over my self confidence, I felt very strong. It’s a relief that I no longer have to seek validation from other people. I no longer need to keep in mind other people’s opinions. I can live the life I want to, attract the people I want to and work towards my goals and dreams. Because I’m worth it.

I can say for myself that I am beautiful. I am worthy. I am everything I want to be. And nothing else matters. I really hope that I can maintain this self confidence. I’m sure there will be ups and downs, but I feel like I’m growing and becoming more confident every day.

I really hope that everybody else can experience what I felt, how happy I felt with myself. I hope there will be a time in which we support each other and help each other with our self confidence. Let’s help the another when we notice they can’t yet see their own beauty. Because if you are happy, then I will be happy and the world will be one happy place. It’s contagious.

I hope there will be a time in which everybody will know that we are all equal, that we all have the same beauty. Instead of working against each other and tearing ourselves down, we can support each other and show love for ourselves and everyone else. The love we really need in this world right now.
