I made a tote bag for my friend. This is my second sewing project after learning to use a sewing machine this summer. I am proud of it and excited to make more projects :) In the last picture, you can see how I had to sew a small portion closed by hand. I didn’t realize that I only sewed on one piece of fabric, so I used a simple back stitch to fix it. 💗

I'll be dressing for the Halloween season for the next 2 weeks.This dress used #Simplicity9291 (or #Butterick6453 before the realignment, they're the same pattern), made from a very stiff quilter's cotton. The only alterations was making the bodice about an inch longer. It coordinates perfectly with my skeleton earrings. I added the jacket cause it's chilly today.
