Let me tell you a story:
A story about the love of a Mother and strife between brothers...
A lone woman sat in her palace - a palace of beauty, of Pearls and Marble and the Whitest of Wood in creation - listening to life returning to her demesne and her old bones after the frost brought by the night.
The birds chirping on the highest of branches of the eldest of Oaks, dogs barking and running in the green meadows, cows, horses and goats grazing the freshly grown tall grass, wild flowers and herbs at their hearts' content.
There was peace in the land and for Mother a peace which only the heavens could possibly emulate.
But the longing for the company of her children grew with the passing of the days, the months and the years.
Not willing to disturb her four children, Mother tried - initially- to resist the loveless embrace of loneliness for as much as she could bear before sending four Blackbirds as messangers to her Son Ehsan in Kingdom of the West, hoping for his fast return home.
"After a Moon, King Ehsan reached his mother's demesne with his court, horses, Warrior Lords in shining armour and many personal riches while riding on the back of a fine white stallion.
The land itself announced the arrival of the King of the West and the animals of the land bowed before him like loyal subjects would do, acknowledging his majesty and his blessed blood.
At his arrival at the Pearl Palace, the Lady of the Land rushed outside to meet her firstborn son like only a Mother would do but - when their bodies met - the white clouds in the sky dissipated like vapor on a mirror and the sun began to shine with all his strength birthing new flowers of vibrant colours.
<<I am here, Mother.>> Said Ehsan <<My Kingdom will suffer without me, I will stay here, with you, but I will be forced to depart in five moons.>>
The new saddened the Lady and, without a thought, she made him promise to return every year in the same period to visit her and her land.
Four months passed and the land grew fertile, the rivers big and bountiful with life making the land a Paradise for Man, Animals and Greenlife but King Ehsan left as he came, the way he came leaving behind a saddened Mother and a Rich Land.
But Mother couldn't stand the emptiness of her palace and her life without her sons.
Not willing and capable to suffer again in anguish she resolved herself to call another one of his sons, her masterpiece, the jewel in her heart by sending four sparrows as messengers South.
Lord Rayyan, the most beautiful of all, with long golden hair and a constant toothed smile on his face, reached the land after only ten days bringing all of his people, slaves, horses and belongings to his mother's land.
The land rejoiced at the sight of so much life being brought back by the most beloved of the sons with the Sun beginning to shine even stronger and hotter than before to honor the Great Lord of the South.
The reunion with Lord Rayyan was almost too much to bear for Mother, such was the happiness and the prestige of her secondborn.
<<Mother, I will never leave you again and my people will inhabit this land under your grace.>> Said Rayyan while embracing his old Mother.
For Months the land was alive with life like never before in the history of the land with humans cutting wounds in the mountains, soil and forests to harvest all the food and riches at their hearts content under the just reign of Lord Rayyan...
Until the Sun grew tired, becoming more opaque and colder like the land itself.
The woods became scarcer of life and the trees didn't grew sweet fruits.
Rayyan, offended by the weakness of the Sun, left the land to return south with almost all of his people leaving behind only a few to harvest the hard cereals in the fields in the months to come.
Mother was distraught with the breaking of the promise of his son and for days the sky cried with her until a Kind and Royal Eagle, seeing her suffering, departed East to find King Nour and put a stop to it.

Diary Entry: Sunday, 11th April
I've been having a lot of pain in my ear. Mum says she'll call the doctor if it still hurts tomorrow. My friends are concerned about it, but I know I'll be fine. This morning I got a weird sensation like there was cold water into my ear. It went away pretty quickly. Now my ear just hurts. It's been painful for a few days now.
I just got back from a walk. We walked with Sue, our neighbour. My dog Oscar was being pretty stupid. Oscar likes motorcycles quite a lot. If he sees or hears one, he'll run towards it. He doesn't care about bikes, cars, or trucks, only motorcycles. Today there was one, and Oscar tried to run towards it. Luckily mum had him on a short leash, so he didn't get run over. Oscar also ended up bumping into a parked car, which was hilarious.
I painted a picture today! It was relaxing. I painted a landscape with autumn trees.
I'm really proud of it, but I know it's not the best.
