leo trauma this, cjj trauma that. and youre absolutely right, but what about literally everyone else trauma!

you cant tell me raph isnt traumatized after getting his shell pierced and his plastron cracked and sacrifcing himself in order to save leo, after getting his mind invaded by the krang with the sole goal of hurting his family and then subsequently getting possessed by krang (both of which looked extremely painful) and forced to attack his family and then nearly kill leo, after ripping krang bits off his eye

you cant tell me donnie isnt traumatized after being much more than others painfully aware of just how dire the situation with the krang was because theyve never had to use the escape pods before, after getting his battle shell destroyed and nearly getting killed without it before getting swooped into the death trap that has become of the turtle tank where he along with mikey was seconds away from being crushed before april came in to save the day; after fusing with an alien spaceship which might not have been painful, but looked very disturbing to him personally nonetheless (at least before he rejoiced at the fact of becoming one with a cool piece of tech)

you cant tell me mikey isnt traumatized after trying time and time again to channel his mystic powers to save his family, after his repeated failures to do so endangering his family, after, first, being the reason for the destruction of donnie’s battle shell and, second, being the one to take it off at the krang ship, which does not make him responsible for any damage donnie may have suffered, but he could very well end up feeling like he let those things happen, like it was his fault

you cant tell me april isnt traumatized after nearly getting killed by the krang (and what if she hadnt found the herbicide prior to the apocalypse? im sure thats something she considered in the aftermath), after getting attacked by possessed raph, her brother, and getting majorly knocked out (you’ll notice, donnie immediately checks on her looking extremely concerned when she lands on the ground, and she doesnt get up for a good while)

not to mention leo’s sacrifice. raph was Convinced hes gone. remember the “Mikey, it’s over”? hes literally hopeless and putting on a brave face in an attempt to help his brothers cope with this massive loss. you ever notice that donnie hasnt said a single word since leo announced his plan and until the epilogue scene? much to think about! and what about mikey finally managing to channel his mystic powers and pulling leo out? might seem like a good thing, but do you have any idea what a feat like that does to your psyche? what if this attempt failed like all the ones before it and leo stayed in the prison dimension to die? what if it killed mikey, just like it did in the future? which, of course, present mikey could not have known about but the yellow cracks in his arms were very well visible, so it wouldnt be a reach to assume he at least considered the possibility of it killing him. and what about april and splinter, watching helplessly from the ground as their brother and son disappears? and we dont know how long it took for the whole gang to reunite, so they also spent a much longer time convinced leo was gone

to reiterate, obviously leo and cjj have gone through a LOT and are severely traumatized as a result. but lets not forget the rest of the family just because they didnt break every bone in their bodies, but broke only a few instead.

masochist mugi is really hot & I enjoy it a loottt but mugi seeking out pain is a common misconception I've noticed! Just for the record (lightheartedly!!!!!) he doesnt chase being hurt or feeling pain on purpose, he used to convince himself he didnt feel it at all & was numb before natsume "taught him" to feel it (+ love) his motivations for almost everything he does is more being useful partially due to his utilitarianism and partially because he just feels no worth if he isn't, being devoted! So it isn't as backed up as people make it seem aside from how submissive he is (although again he's a switch its just his nature... he'd probably love being in control of Something in his life and dom so hard and then he can also be a service top...... he can really do it all!) But oh my goodness I DO think he'd be so pathetic yet not be able to help getting turned on from the pain being given to him. maybe he would like it because it makes him feel things & maybe him being 'against violence' could be interpreted as him secretly being into it... why else would he purposefully annoy people who he knows are going to hurt him... like natsume and shu?

To give a short explanation for the reason why he forgave eichi specifically is that he appreciated the time they had even though he got hurt REALLY BAD, he said he could be used as a shield he just didnt expect to not also be a friend while playing that role. Rei told him that as long as you think someone is your friend they are. So hes like Ok with being hurt by shu and natsume and eichi if he has to be but its not like he Likes it. He lets himself be used knowingly if it will benefit a greater cause, it's his philosophy. Unlike leo, who never forgave eichi to his face even though he does, because he knows eichi wouldnt understand, and tsumugi is over it already. So really eichi is the one being tortured into awkwardness 😭😭😭

I'm always saying tsumugi is the worlds first 19 year old male milf he has mommy issues the most too so even though hes the most dilf coded hes definitely giving mother sometimes too he has also offered to be hiyoris mama instead!!!!!!!!!! It's so crazy!!!!!!

Anguish Pt. 2

Oh this was going to be delious.

Shredder felt the jolt of excitement run along his spine to the tip of his fingers as the facetime call ended in his enemies screams. But he wasnt through with them yet, oh no. He had much more planned for the nuisances that bogged down his plans for years.

And he was going to enjoy it profoundly.

"Baxter, come and collect the captives body. Take them to your lab and prep them for the beta phase. Its time to see if your Obedience Chip is truly worth the funding I give you." His chuckled rumbled through his throat like a hungry growl, eager for his plan to take wing.

However, Baxter couldnt understand it. His Obedience Chip only works on live subjects, not dead ones. The genius inventor rolled the body over and examed the wound across the neck and grinned.

"Shredder, you sly fox. A wound just deep enough to bleed and convince anyone that you had gone straight through. Ah, but whats this!"

Baxter rolled the body over again slightly to see a small puncture in the left shoulder blade. That cunning old man must've injected Y/N with a fast acting sedative just before he "killed" them. He had to admired his bosses flawless execution but still he wondered why use Y/N? They had no fighting experience or special skills...Well, the genius was sure he would connect the pieces soon. For now he had work to do and an unconscious dummy to prep.

It had been two weeks since Shredder took Y/N from Leo...He didnt eat, barely slept, and when his brothers attempted to reach him it was as if they were speaking to an empty body. Even Master Splinter, with all his years of wisdom and experience, couldnt help his son cope with the grief...and rage.

Violent outburst. No quarter for those who the leader even suspected of being aligned with the Foot. He was merciless. Determined. Yet most of all...

He was in constant pain.

Enough to drive any man insane. They were the one. Y/N brought a warm light to Leo's life, like how the sun brings that warm feeling to your cheeks and nose on a slightly less cold winter day. They didnt solve all his problems or sugarcoat when he was being an ass. What truly mattered was that they stayed with him through the hardest times. Comforted each other when violence and disaster seemed like they had no end.

With them...Leo saw a future. And it was taken from him.

Two long weeks and he final pried Shredders new hideout of an elite. Leo hated to admit it but he felt no guilt or remorse when he tortured that man to brink of death. And when he final got his answers, he killed that Elite with no hesitation.

"I cant feel anything..." The blue leader whispered to himself as he walked across the rooftops with an unrelenting desire for revenge. His brothers all exchanged worried glances from one another, they didnt exactly condone Leo's tenacity for justice...But they couldnt let him face Shredder alone either.

"He's gonna get'imself fuckin killed, Don! Im all fer taking Shredder down...But not at da expense of Leo's humanity and soul." Raph whispered to his genius brother, his brows knitted in worrisome dip.

"I know, Raphie...But what can we do? Even three on one, we cant beat him. There's no stopping him...the best we can do now is make sure he doesnt get hurt. We made a promise to Splinter..."

Donnie frowned sadly, he couldnt imagine the pain his oldest brother was going through...He only hoped that he would one day see his leader again.

It didnt take any longer than thirty minutes to find the 'office space' that was now Shredders new lair. With Donnies master hacking skills and their combined mastery of stealth, the brothers clandestinely weaved through the corridors and empty cubicals. Something was...off. There were no guards or ninja to stop them but with Leo's narrow-sighted focus, he hadnt noticed (or cared).

Upon reaching the upper levels, Hun stood with his massive arms crossed in front of a large elevator. One of his brows raised and he called out to the shadows, "I know'ya here, pond scum. My Master has been expecting you. I have been instructed to escort you to your final battle." He grinned.

The turtles all gave each other weary exchanges before hesitantly approaching the gang leader that flashed them a sneer. "Right this way, turtles."

It all felt wrong. They knew now it was definitely trap, Shredder knew that they would come and the brothers played right into his claws. As the brothers descended with Hun further, the silence became deafening. The doors opened slowly, Shredder sitting on his large throne as he watched them walk closer. He hadnt even bother to put his helmet on...

"How good of you to finally come, turtles. I was expecting you find my little hideaway soon. I'm a little disappointed in you, Leonardo." Shredder chuckled lowly, humming to himself. Leo's eyes flashed with hatred, a rageful storm dancing in his chest and soul.

"I couldn't understand it. Why love someone so ordinary? So...normal? You are an exceptional ninja master, yet you fell for a human." Shredders lips twisted up into a sneer, his hand calling forth someone from the shadows.

"No..." Leonardo's jaw dropped and his eyes lit up in absolute shock.

"Y/N...."

favorite thing about them: he is literally just some guy. like the most just some guy character ever. he did NOT ask for any of this he just happened to be dragged into it for reasons he almost couldnt comprehend but were also completely unavoidable. he is ridiculously observant of his environment and other people. he absorbs information like a sponge, which is impressive considering hes a college student fighting for his life and id legit just shut down. he is rational, but tends to act based on emotion when it concerns someone else and at his core is a helpful n caring guy. his ability to joke in a life or death situation is also something between impressive, endearing and worrying. his ability to Very Easily manipulate people is even more worrying. if he werent generally a nice dude id be afraid of him. hes a walking bi disaster and i love that for him. i want to be his friend

least favorite thing about them: horny. also didnt he become an alcoholic or something in the next game is he ok

HMMMMMMMM how do I do that indeed, the basics are honestly what you’d find on any basic tutorial about drawing a face (circle, cross in the middle of it, build the face around that - I really still can’t avoid that step and probably never will). As for the expressions, to be honest with you my way of going about them is thinking them up in emoji/kaomoji form first and then go from there. Emojis and kaomojis have to simplify expressions to the max since it’s such a simple format, right? But they’re still super expressive and convey exactly what they’re trying to say with one single glance, so using them as some kind of reference sheet has helped me a lot in figuring out what’s essential to express what I’m trying to say - still working on it though! OK LISTEN UP OR DONT IDC I wanna talk about my other tmnt fic ideas so im gonna do that. If u guys find any interesting feel free to send asks about them. That'll probably encourage me to get to work on them 😂

Oh and please mind any spelling or grammar typos. I just got a new phone and am still getting used to the new keyboard.

(Also if any of yall steal em im gonna fight ya. I got a katana and i dont know how to use it but I WILL try)

1. Rise Leo Leader Problems fic

Leo is the new leader of the team, and so far its going great! Well, mostly—Leos really insecure about his leadership abilities and doesnt feel prepared, but its mostly going ok?... Until Mikey gets injured due to a flaw in Leos plan. So, he freaks out and blames himself.

Leo decides if he has to be the leader, hes gonna need a better way to lead. So he looks to mystic abilities. He ends up going to the Hidden City to find a witch by the name of Ms Wander, known to grant mystic abilities to those who truely need them. He manages to get the power to see into the future, which is perfect for him and his plans! The downside is that the power is fueled by his very soul, and she warns him to only use it when he truely, truely needs it. But Leo finds himself using the ability more and more, just to make sure none of his plans will leave his brothers injured.... Once, twice.... It cant hurt to just use it before every single mission, right? His declining health is probably completely unrelated...

2. 2012 Raph actually leaves fic

Frustrated with the cautiousness of his brothers, Raphael finally leaves to go be a vigilante on his own. Hes tired of his brothers holding him back and if hes on his own, he'll really get stuff done!

I dont have as much plot planned for this one but his relationship with his brothers is really bad in this universe, but its mostly due to his own problems with himself. He even makes his own makeshift lair and doesnt even sleep at home anymore, and barely believes his family cares for him since he kinda feels like he abandoned them (nevermind he's still following them in secret every mission just to make sure they're safe). It gets worse when the Foot kidnaps raph, preparing to use him as leverage against his family, and he tells them it wont work—he abandoned them. They wont even notice, and even if they did they should just leave him be. Or at least, thats what he thinks.

Him having his own place is important tho because at one point I want Mikey to show up there missing him and wanting to have a sleepover-

3. 2012 Leo's """recovery""" backfires fic

GOD WHAT WAS THAT??!! "your pain is all in your mind" "oh hey my leg is better!! " No!!!! That's not how injuries work!! Coma!!! Broken bones!!! No!!!

So here's my fix it fic: the pain really was all in his mind, but the damage was real. It's months later, and Leos leg is bad again. It doesn't hurt, but he can barely walk anymore! His brothers finally figure out what happened to advance his healing so fast.

Turns out, in the spirit realm he was just able to disconnect his mind from feeling the pain of his injuries —they're still there. And he's been using his leg for months now, and the damage is so so so bad but he just can't feel it. Donnie is rightfully pissed at Splinter and the deer spirit for convincing him he was healed, when all of this really just made it worse. Hes not even sure if Leo is going to be able to walk again ever now.

4. 2012 Raphael Brainworm Arc but Better fic

(Can u tell I like mind control fics?)

OK they really did NOT use the brainworms to their full potential. Especially on Raph.

In this fic, Shredder realizes how useful it would be to not reveal that Raph is under his control, and sends him back to his brothers for info and to be an insider. I actually have a lot planned for this one and don't wanna reveal too much but there's a lot of Raph sabotaging all their missions and angst when they realize "oh shit he's been mind controlled for weeks???". Rockwell and Slash are also controlled for longer than in canon too, but the main focus is on Raph who is fighting against the brainworm the whole time, trying to give hints to his brothers so they'll figure it out, but the mind control is strong.

okay so just gonna like ramble about some placements i think they might have and disclaimer i am no expert or necessarily Fixed in these possible placements. also every sign has good and bad and manifests itself in diff ways so if u dont love the placements i chose sorry babes bladididahhh okay continuing

julien: def think she is a gemini, i think she def gives mutable/gemini sign vibes both in how sometimes she will be a lot more calculated and "bitchy" and then be a lot softer (not saying geminis are two faced but multifaceted), and in how she wants to grow over the course of the season and become more authentic. especially with how geminis are curious and want to see how the world works and question things, the more she explore the more she understands herself. geminis are also super fun and magnetic which i think fits her vibe. plus i think she is definitely a good communicator, even tho i think her speech in 1.04 was.... something... she was able to pull it out on the spot and be well spoken and convince the party goers, so very good with her communication imo. leo rising, bc u kno Magnetic Grand Influencer. always aware of how shes percieved. can be rash, but like, she's fun, shes got a warm heart.

zoya: zoya is canonically a libra (october 22). i think that fits in a lot of aspects, she definitely embodies the traits of libra that are very concerned with justice, and i do think she is diplomatic/logical (her knowing whats important to her and not as caught up in the world of reputation as the others), tho less of a... pushover/peacekeeper as aki is. also her love of the arts in reading/plays. def think she probably has aquarius placements given again the sense of justice but also her being more outspoken/rebellious/unpredictable... aqua mars maybe? could be a cancer moon, for the idea of nostalgia/past, wanting home and security, hating superficiality.

aki: obviously i have not shut up abt him being a libra sun. i just know it in my bones its the introverted libra blueprint the peacekeeping the innocent nature the love of art (film in his case) his magnetic lover pretty boy energy, a pretty defined Aesthetic. diplomatic, always looking at things through logic. libra mercury as well for similar reasons, diplomatic and reserved with his words, objective, tries to make everyone happy even at his own expense (hello forgiving/apologizing to audrey and max for all the shit they did lmao). i think he has a pisces moon because i do think he's sensitive and cares deeply and quite dreamy in his own head but not going to be maybe as reactive as a cancer/scorpio moon. they are a lil weird they can kind of be a pushover/doormat, its the vibes. aquarius rising bc he does have the Mysterious Aloof vibes esp if you don't know him, a loner, a bit weird, abstract outlook, nervous. mayhappssss pisces mars bc its again like p romantic and sensitive but they can be kinda hard to pin down and less agressive but i havent Nailed down a venus/mars yet.

audrey: taurus sun i think. i love the idea that two of the sides of their love triangle are represented by venus and i think it fits with them-- both find love very important and have love for each other, but it doesnt really work romantically bc of their diff styles (like personally as a libra loveee them as friends idk if i could really be in a relationship tho). taurus is fixed and resistant to change bc its what they know, ie, her not wanting to move at all. interesting in aesthetics, being classy, etc. wont hold back her judgement (also guessing she has some fire in her bc of how much she lashes out. mayhaps aries or leo). loyal, at least to julien and the idea of friendship and partnership lmao. wants a loyal partner who stays by her side no matter what. also her love of reading and cooking and domesticity is very taurean. this may be bc of her big eyes but i feel like she has a water rising, i think scorpio rising fits best, she can be quite intimidating, she wants privacy, determined, she wants a reliable partner again. can be impatient.

max: leo sun-- im sorry maybe too obvious LMAO but he's just like very charming, confident, wants fun, dramatic af, loves an indulgent moment, wants people to want him. but also i think very warm and nice to his friends when they need it, like going out with julien, or in softer moments like helping audrey with her mom and cooking breakfast for her and aki. leos are also quite funny which i think max is. he's mischevious, he wants vibrance. i also think leo/taurus and leo/libra compatibility make sense for the love triangle lmao. aries moon, likes confrontation, likes drama, want what they want (and often, they have lots of diff crushes) and will go after it. impulsive. want instant gratifcation, to live life charging ahead and in the moment. don't understand skirting around emotions. i think gemini or sag in mars, because of the freedom/independent aspects, fun, and also the sexuality of the mars signs.

monet: capricorn sun and mercury, she knows what she wants, she wants success and power, and shes going to figure out the most effecient way to get there, no matter what. shes going to protect what she cares about most, shes not gonna deal with the bullshit, a bit of a hater of everything. wealth, oppulence. DEFINITELY has a strong scorpio placement / mars energy--probably scorpio mars as at least one placement: ready for war, secretive, observant, calculating. i think maybe aries rising, direct action, competitive, want to lead, blunt and brusque, quick to drop if its not working, with scorpio and cap placements that drive and aggression to be on top increases.

luna: i think she's a virgo sun, she's calculating/discerning, shes a bit judgy, she has rules and order and you're going to fucking follow them! she's observant, able to figure out things like monet's betrayal. def think shes a libra rising, she is so etheral and magnetic, social. while i dont think her libra manifests in a super diplomat way like zoya or aki, i do think she does try to compromise and find balance in certain areas, like going along with the zoya and julien sister narrative and making it work even though she didnt rlly want to. also the style aspect of her character is v libra rising. leo mercury, she's dramatic and fun and has an ego and some u kno.. scathing shit to say lmao.

obie: okay im sorry he is such a fucking toxic pisces male. projecting fantasies onto ppl and then getting upset when they dont fulfill that? yup! mutable as fuck, never really taking a stand in activism, family, love. wanting to be a martyr. staying in situations he doesnt think will work out bc he wants them to--like waiting until he had an excuse to leave julien, or thinking that maybe things werent good with zoya but holding on. hates when ppl critique him. maybe venus in libra bc very idealistic about what he wants in a relationship and wants things done a certain way or else hes like wtf. idc abt his other placements lmfao

percy: no, bc i feel like i’d b like “i hate my mom” or say “i hate women” mockingly to a friend right after arguing with a bigot in history class abt equal rights and he’d overhear me and be like “u shouldnt say that :/ she probably worked very hard for u n women deserve to have the same rights as everyone else” and i’d stand there n b like homie ik i was making fun of the guy and i literally do not have a good relationship with my mom but he’d go on n on about it. i’d purposefully avoid him for like a week after until he forgets abt it

Why wouldn’t Bru and Toresce speak again?

oh boy! Long post ahead! Also this is so jumbled i just wrote a 7 page paper so im not organizing this.

TL;DR: They got into a very heated argument where Bruuno was trying to complain about the shitty things happening to him (as one does w/ a quad mate), and Toresce made fun of him, so he blew up. There’s a lotta issues and shit, below there is mentions of abuse, alcohol, self harm, and suicide.

Like he expected it to happen but not to the extent in which it did. He expected a little sympathy. So:

Toresce got angry and was basically like “oh boo fucking hoo poor bruuno who has a mate and moirails and people who love him, everything sucks for the dude whose life is so perfect” (Important context: Toresce had a meltdown and Bruuno was there for him, helped him, and then this happened and Toresce didn’t so Bruuno felt EXTRA betrayed) and bruuno snapped because he was completely sober in that moment. When he’s sober he tends to get angry very easily which is why he drinks as much as he does. Its an adhd thing. But Bruuno snapped, like, was not thinking straight. Said some stuff he shouldnt have, sorta begged Toresce to kill him for a moment then called him a coward when he didn’t, then had to be literally thrown out because he would have tried something stupider than begging the man who hates him to kill him. And, At the moment in the storyline, Bruuno is AWOL ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Kinda glad I haven’t gotten any asks for him since his muse is still incredibly pissed off. He is very prone to saying something he doesn’t mean when he’s angry. We weren’t sure if we were going to keep this canon but I feel like its an important development in their relationship.

It is kind of important to also note that this is similar to what Bubble would do if Bruuno had any issues. Downplaying his suffering, saying he has nothing to be upset about, it’s what caused him to start bottling things up in the first place. So to tell someone he thought was better than Bubble only for them to act like Bubble was a huge shock, could even go so far as to say it was a trigger. That’s not even something he can explain to Toresce. He can’t tell Toresce “Hey dont do that, my ex did that” because Toresce will just make fun of him, dismiss him again, or so Bruuno believes.

For a bit I thought Bruuno would apologize but the more time has passed, the more I know he’s not going to. He probably won’t speak to Toresce until either A. Chow makes him or B. Toresce apologizes first. Toresce just massively confuses him, he doesn’t get The guy. He tried to care, then that was too much. He stopped caring, then that wasn’t good either. He cared again when Toresce had issues, then that was okay??? Sorta? Then He asks for care back, and that isn’t okay, so he doesn’t get it. He doesn’t know what happy medium Toresce wants. So I think he’s given up.

He’s tired. Not a lot of Positive things has happened for him recently. His muse has gotten progressively worse and worse, I know he’s getting depressed. I can tell he is giving up. I’ve been frantically trying to think of something good that can happen to him to lift his spirits. He’s heading in a bad direction. He has no coping skills anymore, he is convinced now that he can’t tell anyone what’s bothering him, he can’t be around Shiloh atm (for other reasons) so there’s extra guilt on top of all that. He’s having a really rough time.

I’m not about to do anything w/o consulting any of the muns who are active in his life (Like his moirails or his mate), but it IS in Bruuno’s nature to run away and hide so in the moment he is avoiding being seen, probably hasn’t gone to his hive, probably only talking to his moirails. He doesnt talk to Pictor a whole bunch so that isn’t too much of an issue for him, theyre really busy. He also doesn’t like to tell people about his issues, he absolutely hates anyone thinking he could have an issue. Not because he thinks he’s perfect but because that makes him less capable to care for other’s. He admitted to someone how he actually felt, someone who is his rival so it was kind of humiliating, and having that kind of response just killed a piece of him. When I think too much about him i can feel how ruffled his feathers are, how bad everything feels. But this is a new situation: He can’t run off and do what he usually did to cope (which was sleeping around as a form of self harm, drinking, or (recently) tussling with a kismesis), he can’t drink himself sick, he can’t complain to anyone he actually loves because Obviously they’ll use it against him or do the same thing because Clearly Bubble Toresce is right (/s).

He’s having a very rough time at the moment. I honestly have not felt him be so low in a very long time. He was doing really, really good for a while, and things started to crumble and now the wall has shattered and he’s left with a bunch of dust. He’s not doing a very good job of piecing himself back together and I am eagerly trying to find something that can help because I’m not sure he’s going to want to open up to anyone anymore.

Do I feel bad? Kinda. But I’ve been there, I know what he’s going through, I’ll get him out of it one way or another. He’ll be okay. If Toresce ever apologizes, they’ll be okay. He won’t be back to perfect but he’ll be better. I think he will -eventually- tell a moirail what happened. I think he will -eventually- get better help. MegaDad and Leo are trying (Because currently Bruuno is hiding in Leo’s hive.)

He’ll be okay.

Welcome to a crash course in gays of our lives anon [because days doesnt know what a bisexual is or a wlw tbh]

also NEVER APOLOGIZE i love talking about Paul and Will and sometimes Sonny.

Will is the blond man, Paul is the Asian man, and Sonny is obviously the remaining man.

Will and Sonny were the big ship back in the day and represented a lot of firsts in terms of queer rep in daytime soaps. And for the most part they had a pretty good relationship [theres the whole Will not coming out right away and managing to knock up Gabi thing but ultimately their trio parenting is very cute and I like their family so \ o/ ]

Now Chandler [the blond man in all the gifs i reblogged] decided to leave and they recasted the character. It was... a choice that some liked and some didnt. I didnt really have strong feelings on it because I barely watched at that time and I never really cared about Wilson all that much.

But you see days is a soap that LIVES on love triangles [if you dont have some sort of relationship drama youre probably only gonna be on screen one day a week tbh] and so eventually they brought in Paul.

I am very Paul biased and I aint sorry about it.

Paul was introduced as a closeted major league baseball player in Salem for a fancy surgery and we eventually found out he was [in a retcon i believe] Sonnys first love but they broke up cuz he wouldnt come out etc etc. It caused some drama llama because days is gonna days.

Eventually Will banged Paul for the scoop story on him being a gay man and cheated on Sonny to do so and then when Sonny and Will were i think broken up and definitely not in a good place period the show decided “lets murder will and let the viewers see it from his POV”

It did not go over well. Like not even with just fandom it went over bad everywhere because Will was a legacy character people watched grow up and is a child of two of the most important families in Days history and it was... the worst. just a dumb dumb thing [side note he was kinda murdered by Ben, current days heartthrob fgdsdsgdf]

So in the wake of that Paulson rose from dead Wilson ashes. And people loved it! Like ok sure not all wilson fans loved it because shippers and monoshipping but the general audience loved the the sl and Paul.

It lasted ... years. like the build to them getting married was LONG.

And then we found out Chandler was coming back because the only thing days loves more than love triangles is bringing someone back from the dead. So surprise Ben didnt actually kill will because a magic days potion thing saved him? just made him seem dead? idk its confusing.

Ben crashed a wedding and yelled about Will being alive and even tho Wilson weren't even together when Will died and we’d spent years now watching Sonny fall big time loe in love with Paul the SECOND he heard Will was alive it was like Paul whomst?

A buncha angst happened, paul looked sad alot, and they found Will alive only Will thought he was EJ [his step dad, its a long story] and had no memories of anyone. People convinced him to move back to Salem and to try and remember and in a big ass disservice to Sonnys character the writers made him a lil turd bucket who dumps Paul and then just sorta assumed him and Will will be together.

Except amnesia Will had only one goal in his newly discovered new/oldlife: to get smashed into next year by beautiful Paul.

This man literally divorced [idk how you need to get divorced when youve been declared legally dead and Sonny was literally about to get married a few weeks prior but whatever days you do you] sonny for a CHANCE at that sweet sweet paul action.

Paul was VERY hesitent about Will because he still loved Sonny and even if Sonny didnt want to be with him he didnt want to hurt Sonny. IMO the writing for Sonny here is awful tbh and they made him both way to aggressive in his attempts to be with Will and cold in his treatment of Paul. It was like a light switch got flipped from “loves paul” to “loves will” and there was no inbetween [this is an issue they duplicated with Will months later and it was imo just as poorly done]

What came next was Paul and Will growing closer and fallin in love and I WOULD LITERALLY DIE FOR THEM but like even the most diehard horita shipper knew that eventually will x sonny would happen.

And not too long after Will and Paul shared the i love yous and basically moved in together etc etc Will started his journey of recovering his memories and Paul was CLEARLY nervous about it but supportive and helpful because hes just a soft good human tbh and Will repeatedly told him nothing would change [but we knew rip]

Except as soon as Will got his full memories back he had that light switch flip himself and literally seconds after having memories back was like “time to dump paul“

except dumbass paul with a heart of gold literally tackled someone out a window of a mansion to save Wills mom from being hurt and ended up paralyzed because apparently days only knows how to write men of color out by paralyzing them [ because they LITERALLY just did this exact exit with another character not even a year before this but i digress] so Will felt guilty and stayed with Paul, though not too guilty because he kept making out with Sonny in public places and getting reamed for it by Pauls brother Brady.

Then Paul ... figured it out? Or Will finally fessed up I cant really remember tbh I sorta blocked it out because it was ...not well written. Anyways they broke up and literally a day later Paul was like ok bye dad and brother im moving back to san fran for fancy medical treatment see ya whenever and just left lmao without even saying goodbye to anyone else.

and now we’re at the point where days clearly has no idea what to do with only 2 gay men and no triangle because all they've done since Paul left is that Sonny was blackmailed into marrying guest character Leo, also a gay man, who they thought they’d killed months before [and paul helped them cover up I believe because he's perfect] but surprise you didnt and now you gotta be married and stay apart because... reasons.

And then Leo finally left and they were free of that only now Will has a brain tumor as a side effect form the magic serum stuff that gave him his memories back but they’re only ever on like one day a week and I gotta be honest its so boring anon.

I miss Paul and also Will's personality and I wish they’d both come back.
