I'm sorry for this. But that parasite in you needs to die.
Wanted to redesign Hazel a bit for Antares and just. Just give the man an overhaul, so here he is. His backstory still has the dead twin but I decided to both give him an emblem (a gingerbread house) and a theme (he's a baker).
He's a bit older now then in canon, early-to-mid fifties, and his semblance, Painless, allows him to shut off both his pain sense and his aura's shielding in exchange for a wolverine-style healing factor. I kept the coat for some extra colour and fun shapes (its muted because he's in constant mourning), and I'm excited to get into the meat of what Salem offered him and his past with the Ozes.

I've been reading every Marvel comic in chronological order and keeping track of every villain that shows up! I'm currently in the comics from 1963 and I'm trying to see who the most villainous and popular villains are by counting their number of appearances. So far, the winner is random communists. I also have graphs for each individual hero if anyone would be interested in seeing those.

I love how Lysander being incredibly obviously evil in Pokemon XY is such a meme that ProZD even made a skit about it
Literally his first scene:
Lysandre: "You played a young girl so wonderfully in your debut on the silver screen. Wouldn't you remain young and beautiful forever and always play such roles?"
Diantha: "What a strange question... Why would I want to play the same old roles forever? Youth may be beautiful, but it's not all there is to life. Everything changes. I want to live and change like that, too. So I look forward to playing different roles as I get older."
Lysandre: "You were chosen to be a movie star, correct? Isn't it your duty to be ever beautiful? Everything beautiful should stay that way forever. I would end the world in an instant so that beauty never fades. I can't stand the thought of the world becoming uglier. Oh hello, PLAYER CHARACTER."

Ok so I watched She-Hulk and I gotta say I don't understand why people hate it! Like yeah the cgi is...something and maybe the lawyering could be better but it's MCU.
I saw a guy on tiktok say that he thought the jokes fell flat and that it was stupid how they weren't making her serious. But like why does the MCU have to be serious all the time, comics arnt! Plus I think their falling flat for some people because we are used to seeing the hero side of the MCU. The first 1-2 phases of the MCU were focused on the hero but now new projects we're seeing more civilians. Jen isn't an Avenger, she's not in the military, she a civilian (so were Peter, Kamala, Shang-Chi and Kate) so we're seeing their view of the world. The MCU is stupid and crazy and has a different normal to us. Shape shifting Elves are a Monday to them, So are people who have powers, portals opening in front of you, and the sky suddenly being messed up. I love seeing the civilian pov, "yes that guy in red and blue spandex just jumped off a building BUT I have to get to my 9-5 and it's really inconvenient that the road is closed because alien tec was found in a building" Like that's funny af!
