A CAPTAIN'S DUTY

The books and movies tell us that Boromir was so dedicated to serving and defending his beloved Gondor that he took little interest in taking a wife and seemed to not care much (or have the time) for romance.

But what if there was a secret someone? What if Boromir actually did love a lady but was forced to make some hard choices and sacrifices for the sake of duty?

I don't know exactly where I am going with this "what if", but it all started with a Reader Insert fic that I have decided to turn into a full series with a fleshed out OC female. My former Boromir one-shot "Breathe" has now become "A Captain's Duty", with new parts hopefully coming out soon.

I was just so excited about the concept that I bought this commission before I have even made any firm decisions about this lady--I don't know her name yet! XD She should be lovely and worthy of our beloved Boromir's affections, of course.

Anyway, thank you for reading this long-winded explanation, and please enjoy this lovely work by the amazing @beelzeebub (whom I am just a big honking fan of--please consider commissioning them; they are so lovely to work with!).
