!NEW COMPETITION JUST DROPPED!

Hey, gay people who live in my computer! I recently got polls, and with this new feature I've decided to host a competition on who the worst fictional dad is! There will be a maximum of 40 characters competing. I'll be taking character submissions via this form (please read the rules in the list below below before submitting) until February 28, 2023, and voting will begin at 12:00 PM EST on March 5, 2023. Here are the rules for submitting characters!

All submissions must be fictional characters. No real people, please! Of course, you can submit a fictional character that an actor plays, but please don't submit the actor themselves.

All submissions must be a father/have some father-like role. This is a competition on who the worst father is. Make sure the character you're submitting is a father/mentor figure to at least one other character.

All submissions must be objectively bad at being a father. I've left a space on the google form where you can specify why a character isn't good at their paternal role. Please use it!

All submissions must have a canon design. Whether it be a drawn reference/sprite of them or a live-action design of them, the character must have an easy-to-find official design.

No obscure submissions. If I can't find a preexisting tumblr tag for the character and their fandom, I won't be putting them in the competition.

Only submit a character once. You can submit multiple different characters, but please don't submit the same character over and over again.

Those are all the submission rules. I'll be back on the 28th of February, when I announce who will be competing. See you then!

I hope this is fake because if not those girls are going to get majorly screwed by their father and his new family. But this is another example of how men want kids to build up their family man image. Once that no longer suits their selfish interests they are fine with making excuses while complaining about child support.

Let’s see ….the man and his wife planned on time to bond with the new baby with just them. So they were with their mother the whole time dad was busy with his new son even though they had 50/50. After their mother was hospitalized they spent time with aunt and uncle then step-grandparents instead of 50/50. He only wants to fix things because his wife doesn’t want extra money to go to his daughters.

Ladies if you or a woman you know has a 50/50 arrangement document all the times you had the kid/s more often than the father. Too many want 50/50 because they don’t want to pay but then when they are needed they do this. And if he can’t afford child maintenance for two kids he shouldn’t have had a third.

Last night I dreamed that I'd been converted into a combat cyborg with these metal wings that were made of segments sort of like swords? My dream sort of briefly compared them to Nu-13 from BlazBlue. They were supposedly scripted in some kind of sandbox MMO. Anyway, at first I was going around this shopping plaza near where I live, but then I began to learn things the powers-that-be didn't want me to know. How did I find this out? Because a translucent computer mouse's graphics weren't properly textured. The dream then split itself between my investigating into this, and trying to illicitly hack into the game to try to fix the texture myself. After some nonsense, I discovered that the mouse's insides had been removed, leaving it nonfunctional.

I briefly woke up, and when I fell back asleep, I was still a combat cyborg, but now I was about to have a showdown against "my dad", who was also a combat cyborg. He didn't particularly resemble any dad I've had. I just got the impression that it was going to be this huge idealogical final duel, sort of thing, like Raiden vs Jetstream Sam or something, I dunno.

i wonder where the idea of chilchuck being a deadbeat came from when theres like. no textual evidence for it ?

he knows what all of them are up to; he still writes to flertom and she sent him his neckwarmer, so that to me implies that they at least have a somewhat positive relationship?

its more ambiguous with meijack and puckpatti, but since meijack is also a picklock, i wouldn't be surprised if he taught her himself, considering how trades are often passed down through families, and because he talks about sending people to her if he dies.

also the way he talks about puckpatti is very like... it's obvious he wants her to take things more seriously, but he's accepting, and his tone here reads more fond to me than anything else.

like, he keeps his daughters' old toys under his desk? that doesn't scream 'deadbeat' at all, it screams 'empty nester' who doesn't know how to reach out or is scared to do so

EDIT: i know a lot of the 'deadbeat dad' stuff is jokes, but some people are Not joking and genuinely think chilchuck is a bad dad. this post is not saying that you cant joke about it; it is just outlining what canon shows regarding his (clearly positive) relationship with his kids.
