AN: You've got it darlin~! I present to you, Crosshair.

To say that this relationship is a slow burn is an understatement.

Crosshair is a bit of a grouch by nature. One known for his biting remarks and astute observations, but he's a recluse nonetheless.

The only way I see you meeting is on a job. Sure, there's a very slim chance that you might've caught him and the boys on a trip to 79s, but the real development came when you both were forced to work together.

Whether you were some sort of Jedi, senator, or even some offset of clones- it doesn't matter. He tolerated you at first, but that was about it.

Your penchant for cheeky, albeit well-mannered teasing likely was the cause of this. He saw it similar to how he'd put up with Wrecker and his habit of invading his personal space with droid heads.

Something he could live with.

This was until you started joining in when he was teasing the regs.

Considering the fact that the batch and the regs don't particularly get along, per se- well, certain groups of them at least- he found the fact that you'd pipe in and play off his words rather amusing.

Never until that moment did he think that you'd ever grow on him.

As for you with him, it'd be quite the same. He wouldn't be the friendliest man in the batch when you first met him. The others- Wrecker, Tech, Echo, Hunter- Hell, even Omega would've all been fairly quick to befriend you. They're all rather amicable and understanding, if not kind.

But Crosshair? He's stubborn.

This means that you would've fallen victim to at least a few remarks, assuming you didn't have enough of a reputation to keep him at bay, to start with.

At a certain point, you both annoying each other became somewhat of a game.

The two of you stayed up to keep watch one night, sitting in silence, save for the rare instances you'd stop to discuss details of the mission come morning. Playful bickering ensued, but you kept it quiet so the others could sleep, eyes focused on the fire in front of you.

You both kept an eye on each other during these times. Half for the sake of the mission, half for a myriad of reasons that neither of you would dare to admit to each other.

For him, it'd have started out as wariness. Making sure you weren't a threat to his brothers, as well as keeping an eye out for any material he might be able to use later. It wouldn't do to be underprepared if you were to attempt to tease him, after all.

That gradually evolved into curiosity.

He observed as you'd pick up souvenirs on the planets you'd traverse together, pocketing all manner of glass, wood, and rocks you harvested from the outdoors when you thought the batchers weren't looking.

He'd take note of the many hours you spent, looking up at the night sky or staring out into the galaxy through the glass of the cockpit. The way you'd seem to naturally gravitate to the shade when outdoors, and how you'd always appeared to be more at ease when they infiltrated bases during the cooler months.

He observed from the sidelines as you talked to Hunter and the others about tattoos, and who the best person would be to get them from as he polished his gun.

Crosshair would pretend he didn't notice when you followed up that conversation a few days later with a brand new tattoo, catching sight of it when part of your outfit pulled back to reveal it, newly wrapped, with you too busy petting a puppy you found to even notice.

He took note of your dislikes too.

The way you would complain about the overwhelming heat on some of the warmer planets you'd visit, the dark hues of the armor you bore not helping you in the slightest.

The way you blanched when you realized some of the cuisine he and the boys were eating was much too spicy for you to handle, immediately regretting all your life choices after you tried it and he and some of the other batchers jumped on the opportunity to tease you. Meanwhile, Hunter was the one to offer you some milk to help.

How you almost always chose to operate on the backlines with him, instead of going headfirst into the loud, blaring chaos of battle with the others.

Oh, he noticed.

Crosshair would never admit it. But he did.

He didn't know why he did. How you managed to grow on him so much over the time you'd operated together. It wasn't supposed to be that way... and yet...

You were one of the few people he enjoyed being around.

The way you two could go from teasing each other relentlessly to intimidating people with just a glance was an amusing sight to behold.

Terrifying for those who didn't know you.

They'd assume that you both were glaring and clearly not fond of them, but the truth would often be far from it.

You and Crosshair spending some time alone after a rough mission, cuddled up and basking in each other's company, enjoying the silence.

It took him longer than he'd care to admit to realize just how he really felt.

You're laying back in a hospital bed, bacta applied to your wounds in the sterile, white room that was the medbay after an infiltration mission. You all had succeeded, but it had come at a terrible cost.

He'd have avoided going with his brothers unless they dragged him along, and yet, he'd find himself hovering by the medbay doors whenever he was alone. Wondering if you were okay.

He blamed himself.

Had he been quicker, had his shot been more accurate- even if just by a centimeter, you would've been fine.

And so he found himself wandering in, watching your sleeping form as you recovered, holding your hand.

... And threatening you to keep your mouth shut when he realized you'd been awake the entire time.

You just smiled, teasing him all the same.

And it was then that he realized how much he'd fallen for you.

If your ocs were canon I would 100% ship Bear and Irais with me, but I would also want too see a lot of them, like I would want all the lore and for some reason I could see them appearing in Bad Batch and even Rebels eps hehe 💛

At some point I really want to do a deep dive on their lore (if anyone would be interested.)

I feel like you'd probably get to see more of Irais, and not nearly as much of Bear. But Bear is probably gonna have more lore soon, which i'm working on currently!

Irais has a bunch of angsty lore that i'm currently working on at the moment so there's also that.

But you'd probably get to see more of them then phoenix and laz, they have less lore than Irais and Bear combined.

Hunter!

Hunter loves everything music related. It's a good way for him to get some sensory input that he has control over and won't send him into sensory overload. He enjoys sitting with you while you play piano, letting your music flow over him and wash the tension from every muscle in his body. If you're up for it, he'll ask you to teach him some piano basics, and it'll be the two of you sitting on the piano bench, not a care in the world.

Once Hunter felt comfortable opening up to you, you found out that he has an amazing singing voice. The first time you heard him sing was actually when he was in the shower. You'd heard singing coming from somewhere, so you walked out of your shared room towards the bathroom and heard him. It wasn't loud, but it carried just enough for you to hear, and the rich smokiness of his speaking voice is amplified in his singing voice and it is swoon-worthy. After that, there will be times that you and Hunter will sit down and you'll play something on the piano while you and he sing, sometimes even going into harmonies. It's one of the things you and he bond over the most.

Hunter is also a very empathetic person; one unintended side effect of his sensory sensitivities is that he's able to sense other peoples' moods and emotions very strongly, and he hates it. It gets very overwhelming very quickly, and there are times when he'll abruptly leave a social gathering because he needs to not be around other people. So when he finds out that you're the same way, it's comforting to him. You understand why he needs his space, and he doesn't feel like he has to defend himself over it. Sometimes, you and Hunter will both be overwhelmed, so you'll go off and sit somewhere, being alone together to help each other decompress. Having someone that understands that aspect of him in such a deep way is that much more meaningful to him, and just being able to be in a relationship with you means the galaxy to him.

i just wanted to pop and say thanks for the immense amount of support on the matchups, as their not my usual content haha, currently i think i have 11 requests to get done? depending on the length, i’m hoping to pop these bad boys out within the next few days!! but i’ve posted my last matchup for tonight (as i’m very tired and have school and rehearsals tomorrow haha) i’m gonna pop out a few tomorrow after school but until then i’m tuckered out haha.

Shadow Eliminators Ch1

well that certainly hit all the checks you'd expect for an exorcist series huh. it wasn't bad tho. I wasn't expecting much from either series in this batch so I guess the lower expectations helped them. the art was better than I thought it'd be from when the colour pages leaked with some decent paneling too. can't say much about story cause it was just ch1 but it was the same as the usual exorcist stories. tho I will say the glasses guy is a much more interesting guy than gakuro, and he's not even the mc, tho that's not hard to do. we'll see how it goes in the next few chaps. oh also the localized title is pretty lame so that's a big rip jump seems really keen on sticking another exorcist series on the maganize now that jujutsu is nearing it's end, tho I'd rather see something different but oh well (plus with jujutsu it's even easy to forget it's an exorcist series since a lot of recent fights have been human vs human)

THE FIGHT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR SINCE THE START OF THE SERIES IS FINALLY HERE IT'S OKITA TIME BABY LET'S GOOOO god I've been wanting it to be him for so long, and they keep teasing him too but it's finally time and the best part is, he's very likely to win considering humanity has lost 2 fights in a row, and if they lose this one too they'll be 1 way from total defeat which would make the rest of the fights too predictable since no way this will end with humanity losing god I'm so excited for finally getting to see MY BOY shine and with such a cool matchup too god bless

I think Todoroki is impartial to horror movies. He’ll watch them and enjoy them but it’s not something he’ll seek out.

Surprisingly good at not getting freaked out while watching them. If anything, he’s more likely to fall asleep during a horror movie than jump off the couch at every jumpscare.

Much like Chuuya, Todoroki is not great with emotions so he knows how you feel most of the time. He’s not good at faking emotions though so any emotions he does express are genuine.

I present to you, analysis nights.

No, seriously. If you want to know how you got as close as you both did? It was these, hands down.

You'd sit together in the ship, barracks, mess hall- literally anywhere and just talk- with or without his brothers around.

Tech is a bountiful source of knowledge. If he isn't aware of something, he's a few holopad touches away from finding out. And getting to share this knowledge? With someone who is JUST as passionate as he is? He's in heaven.

Film and story plot analysis? Talking about books? The Bad Batch never allows him to do this. He's chatting with you for hours over just about anything he's come across browsing the holonet. Seeing you just as engaged as he just makes him bubbly inside.

Of course, these sessions don't just consist of him talking. He's sitting next to or across from you, nodding intently as he processes everything you're telling him for minutes to hours at a time.

If you aren't just info dumping to each other over stuff that one of you has heard about and the other hasn't? It's a seemingly endless back-and-forth exchange of ideas and opinions.

As much as you enjoy this time together... the boys know to stay away. Wrecker, Crosshair, Echo, and Hunter know it's time to give you both some privacy as soon as one of you starts piping up about one of your special interests. It's not intentionally spiteful, per se, it's just that when both of you pick up and get going? Getting a word in edgewise is difficult. Especially considering they can't always follow along.

While they're walking away after the first few discussions, they place bets on how long it'll take for you both to realize you have chemistry- if you haven't already, that is.

You can thank Crosshair and Wrecker for this. It wasn't long before everyone committed credits to the pot, though.

Tech finds your style of dress both endearing and interesting- especially when it comes to streetwear and such. There was one occasion where he just sat there analyzing your tote bag, pointing at the individual pins and asking what each of them mean. He makes sure to keep up with any new ones he discovers, and has even brought you some between missions.

I present to you Tech and yourself sitting on his bunk, watching films and video essays on your holopad.

Tech watching you skateboard so easily back at base, a look of mild distrust on his face as he eyes your board- the likes of which you happen to be offering to him with an audible offer to "teach" him how to use it.

Seeing videos of how to do it and doing it yourself are two very different things, he finds that day, as he sits on his ass with Crosshair and the rest of the batch unceremoniously laughing their asses off by the ship.

They wish they could've caught that wipeout on camera, and I'm not convinced at least one of them secretly has.

Tech helping bleach your hair in the washroom as you write scripts on your holopad or scroll through the photos you've taken on your camera, occasionally lifting it up for him to analyze when you find a picture you particularly like.

Tech helping you write by acting as an editor/beta reader for any pieces you're willing to share with him.

Tech seeming particularly shifty one week as he goes about business elsewhere, deliberately avoiding contact with you because it's a well-known fact that he's horrible at lying.

You go about your day mildly concerned at seeing him scurry away into his ship or random rooms to avoid you, only to head back to your room to crash for the night, utterly exhausted.

When you get there, you find a red and black beanie with a skull and holopad emblazoned on the rim resting on your bed with an apology note from Tech, explaining that he'd been attempting to get this as a gift and didn't want to spoil the surprise.

Turns out he wasn't upset he was just being a sappy lover.

Oh- Crosshair won that bet by the way. The others groaned as they paid up while you walked into the ship hand in hand, and Tech looked rather perturbed as they did so. Crosshair just smirked.

The bad batch as League of Legends players: a self indulgent headcanon

Wrecker would play top lane. You can't tell me that my man who is a literal tank would not also wanna play tanky top laners. Like he would see Garen or Sett and just be like "yup this is my role"

Tech would play Jungle. Its the most technical role, you have to know info about matchups, smite cooldowns, pathing, what lanes to gank when and he would have all of that in that big ol' brain of his. Lee Sin, Elise, Nidalee, any of the transforming champs where you have to basically learn two whole kits.

Hunter would play mid. Midlaners are often times the shot caller of the team with the most versatility for roaming and helping out other team mates. Galio, Orianna, anything that has good roaming pressure or is good in team fights

Crosshair would play ADC. Like the role is literally called Marksman I dont need to say more. Cringe Vayne main, dabbles in a bit of Caitlyn and Kai'sa

Echo would play support. Man is all about helping his brothers out, applying pressure on the enemy, vision control i can just see him maining a wide array of supports so he can pull out whatever the team needs. Braum, Rakan, Thresh, something where he is in charge of starting (and ending) team fights.

personality and beliefs+morals: to strangers and acquaintances, i can be pretty shy yet friendly. however, around close friends and family (and occasionally to people i'm not close with if i'm feeling bold/comfortable enough), i'm playful, bubbly, and snarky. i become more of a 'menace', with an example being that i (affectionately) tease whenever i'm in the mood. i've also been told by my loved ones that i'm hardworking and kind, so i kinda act like a mom + therapist friend. but for my flaws, i am a huge overthinker and a perfectionist, as well as having a bad habit of bottling up my negative feelings. as for my belief, i believe in always being kind as much as possible.

embarrassing moment from your life: when i was a small kid, i would put out my ipad and play that one scene where snow white was singing to the animals at a loud volume and in public, because i thought the birds in my area would like that and i would be able to befriend them like snow white did xDD.

additional info: when i was kid, i would visit the library a lot, so i was given a lot of bookworm awards and became known as a bookworm in my batch. i also dream of being able to attend the musicals that aren't available in my country (ex: Hadestown, Waitress, and Heathers)

Tighnari knows how much the rarer performances from traveling troupes mean to you, so he'll go out of his way to procure you a front row seat at Zubayr Theater whenever they do come to town. (If you like company, he'll attend with you, no questions asked.)

If you met as children, it was definitely because you both spent so much time in the library. Whether it was as little kids or during your time at the Akademiya, you're both prolific readers - and naturally, you'd come to recognize the familiar face across the room. Eventually, one of you will get up the courage to greet the other.

If someone were to ask Tighnari what it is he values about you above all else, his answer would instantly be your heart. Ok so physically I’m 5’1 pretty short I know, I have an hourglass figure, I have tan skin, medium sized brown hair, and I’m Latina.

I’m really extroverted and love making new friends, I’m pretty much the “mom friend” of the group and I’m always taking care of someone and I’m studying to be a doctor. I sometimes talk way too much but people say that’s what they love about me, and how I can always brighten someone’s mood no matter what. I’m really sarcastic and I’m always cracking jokes too. I also tend to care too much about anything because I’m very empathetic. I’m really really clumsy and I sometimes have bruises and cuts on my arms. I always love learning new things and take genuine interest in anything I do. I love reading I read all the time, and I own way too much books. I also love knitting while listening to music while mouthing all the words. Also when I talk I tend to get very sidetracked and always changing the topic on accident. When crosshairs first met you he honestly wanted nothing to do with you and would go out of his way to avoid you.

He had seen how interacted with the batch and honestly it's what made him try his hardest to say away.

It isn't until after order 66 that he really begins to get to know you. After he came to your rescue on Kamino while many of the doctors, nurses and scientist were getting taken.

Once he became commander he had you set as his teams main doctor as a way to keep you out of trouble.

But crosshair is a very jealous man despite his icy persona he puts up. This man has literally murked a man for you because he had made you uncomfortable.

Your height difference does make him amused as he stands inches away from you and he glares down at you trying to intimate you only for you to give him the equivalent of this face 😡

His team find it quite amusing watching their Commander and Doctor having a full on stare down because he isn't taking 'doctors Orders'

He does find it alittle endearing how you look after his team but he would rather die then have anyone find out about that.

But what really does make him melt was when you found him one sleepless night and brought him into your room and spent the night watching holos and passing back and forth snarky and sarcastic comments at each other.

Cross loves sneaking up behind you while you work and just snaking his arms around your waist and pulling you against his chest. Whispering something dirty/snarky or occasionally flirty before he's gone again.

Despite his facade this man is quite smitten with you but doesn't quite know how to proceed. Hunter, tech and echo were better with words and showing emotions while he would rather just leave little tokens of his affection.

The first time he kisses you is late at night after a botched mission. He is sitting shirtless as you stitch up an injury that runs from his shoulder down part of his chest. He hisses occasionally but when it's finished he stays there as you clean the blood and check the stitches, his good arm shoots out wraps around your waist which makes you freeze and look up at him before he mentally says 'fuck it' before he leans down and pulls you into a kiss.

The kiss is rough filled with so much emotion that he doesn't know how to express

The amount of times you have run into this man and he has saved you from falling or making a fool of yourself is phenomenal.

He shows his love with gifts more then affection. He leaves books, holos, and material's for your crafts either in your room or work place when you aren't there with a little Cross on a letter to let you know it's from him.

Crosshair's eyes narrow as he watches you move around the small doctors office as you treat one of his team members. His teeth bite into his toothpick as he huffs in annoyance. He almost let's out a growl before you pat your patients shoulder and look over to Cross. "Dark, snarky and gloomy your up now commander" you call out which makes him scoff as he makes his way over to you.

A few chuckles come from the other members of the team before they decide to take their leave. Crosshair sits stiffle as you begin to prepare your work space for him. Cleaning tools and grabbing new supplies. "Alright lose the armor and blacks commander I need to check your stitches and make sure you don't have any broken ones or infection" you reply smugly as you turn to look at him. The clone groans in annoyance but doesn't put up much fight as he begins to strip his armor and shirt.

His eyes narrow at you as you make your way back over to him and pluck his toothpick from between his lips. "Bite this any harder and you'll snap it Cross" you reply lightly. He rolls his eyes at you.

Cold hands are a strange sensation to him but it's something he has gotten used to because of you. "I swear you enjoy pissing me off Doctor" he states as he cast his eyes down on you. "It's a small delight I indulge in on occasion" you shoot back as you begin to cut and remove stitches.

It's quite between you both for a moment. The only sounds in the room being the beeping of medical equipment and your tools as you use them. " I saw the books you left for me, thank you. I'm really enjoying them" you say which makes the man feel a little smug knowing that you enjoyed one of his gifts.

"It reminded me of you. And I couldn't let it go to waist in a rebel base that we were going to burn" he says back. After that it's quite again until you finish patching him up.

Crosshair's arms shoot out to wrap around your waist before you could move away, he pulls you closer which makes you almost jump. "Cross!, if we get caught I'm going to get in trouble again" you reply lightly as one of his hands grabs your ass and pulls you up onto his lap before he presses his lips to yours.

You melt into his touch and wrap your around around his shoulders lightly as to not hurt him. His kiss becomes more aggressive as his hands begin to wander and grab at what he can. You pull away and lean your forehead against his.

"I expect you at my room in after your shift, otherwise you won't be able to hide" he whispers as you get off his lap, Crosshair stands up and begins pulling his shirt and armor back on before he head towards the door, he turns and looks towards you once more. "Don't keep me waiting"
