I know the stardew update is out n I wanna play it eventually but Rimworld has had a tight grip on me for weeks. This time I have a beach colony with an army of Wargs (murder puppies), and in order to feed them all I need a lot of meat.... Or I would if Randy Random weren't on and early on I had three raids AND a space battle at the same time... Hii! Ok so, how would Tighnari and Cyno react to darling being depressed? And I mean, she was depressed before, but now its worse.

You chew the bread a few times, letting out soft whimpers and sniffles occasionally, and then burst into tears, tears falling into the bread, the salty taste melting on your tongue. They think you're rebellious and tell you to finish your meals in a firmer tone.

"I-I can't." You said.

You can even go out as much as you want! As long as you end up returning within a day, they won't ask you to explain or capture you.

They can't be there for you 24/7. In their absence, they are viscerally uncomfortable at the thought that you might sob. So! They allow you to have some pets, what do you want? cat? dog? bird? little sheep? fish? Crystalflies? Tighnari will teach you how to take care of them. He brought Karkata over here. Sometimes you will see that adorable mechanical crab make coffee and cover you with quilts! Cyno, studies methods with you. He will call himself dad and the pets are the kids.

As for getting pregnant…if they find out you're in this state, they won't even try. Even if there is no big family to leave a little regret, but it's okay. Love is the most important thing in the family. They have to take care of you.

- she just honestly likes the semi-independence of it. She likes that she can get any leftover work done at home whole the cat will entertain itself.

Alfred really cannot tell when animals like or dislike him. To be fair, he’s like that with humans too… but with animals, he just assumes they all love him.

But he’s also not great at being incredibly gentle with them. If you want him to stop riling up your animals you’ve got to just tell him outright.

After that, he’ll just try to bribe them with treats. If he can be bought with food, surely your pet can too. Actually, him and your pet are similar in a lot of ways…

You can literally see how hard it is for him to resist petting them (especially if it’s a dog… he loves dogs so much,) but he’ll wait until they come to him first.

“Alright well… these things can take time I suppose. They’ll like me eventually, right?”

Arthur doesn’t take it personally. He’s had a lot of animals of his own, and they’ve all hated him at the start as well. He’ll just be patient.

 But also all the pets he’s had before have been like… sheep or rats so he’s not sure how to handle your more average pets. Hopefully they don’t care if he doesn’t pet them a lot.

He says he doesn’t care that much, but you’ve also caught him sneaking your pet little pieces of dinner (he’s nearly as bad as Alfred!)

In general, he doesn’t care much for most animals, but he absolutely adores yours. The first time they act affectionately towards him, he immediately calls you excitedly.

“Aw, why are you running away? I will just catch you again!”

He’s definitely taking it a little personally. He hasn’t had a lot of pets that weren’t birds so he’s not used to normal animal affection. He definitely needs assurance from you that they’ll love him eventually…

But until then, he’s just gonna force your pet to be around him. Even if they hate it, he’s gonna be super affectionate. 

Hopefully they don’t get too pissed off about it. It breaks his heart just a little that they won’t reciprocate. They like you and not him?!

Once they finally do, he nearly bursts into tears. He takes about a million photos and immediately sends all of them to you.

“Aiyah! Fine, then I do not like you either. Even when you’re so cute…”

Yao has lots of pets himself. That love he has for you absolutely extends to your animals. When they don’t love him back, well, he has nothing but time!

A lot of the time, he’ll just sit next to them, trying to get them more comfortable. He would never force them to be affectionate with him, even though he just wants to grab them and squeeze them-

Once they start crawling in his lap on their own volition, he’s cuddling with them all the time! If your pets weren’t spoiled before, they will be now.

“Y/N, can’t you make them like me? It makes me feel bad…”

Ivan is used to rejection, but not rejection from something so adorable! He takes it very personally… he’ll act like he’s not upset but he really is. After all, your pets are important to you, so he’ll have to love them too

He doesn’t know how to make them warm up to him, so he just tries everything at once. This of course… does not work. Which probably only makes him more upset

But once you tell him to just leave them alone, he listens. Soon enough your pet will be crawling all over him, and he’ll be losing his mind about it. Animals have never liked him before, but just like you, your pet is finally an exception.

“Come here little kit- Ouch! Why would you hurt me when I’m trying to love you?!”

Just like he is with you, Feliciano is not familiar with “taking it slow.” As soon as he can, he tries grabbing and playing with your pet. If they resist, he’ll be a little hurt.

He’s much better with cats than he is with dogs. If you have a cat, he’ll try playing with them and laying next to them whenever he can. If you have a dog, he’ll ask to take it on walks just the two of them.

Considering how lovable he is, surely your pet will warm up quickly. And when they do, he couldn’t be more ecstatic.

“Oh no, did I do something wrong? They don’t seem to like me very much…”

Considering how many dogs Ludwig has had, he’s really not used to this. Animals tend to love him on sight, so he’s not sure how to proceed from there.

So, he researches. Soon you’ll see him just hanging out around them, trying to get them more comfortable. Plus, he’ll buy lots of treats he’s sure they’ll like. Anything to get them loving him as quick as possible.

And once they do, that pet is as important to him as it is to you. Even if things were awkward at the start.

“Ah. That’s too bad. Maybe they will warm up to me later.”

Frankly, Kiku does not care that much. He won’t take it personally. He knows that most animals (... and many people) can find him hard to warm up to. But your pet will be seeing him a lot, so it will be fine in the long run.

If he buys your pet anything, it’s not to manipulate them into liking him or anything. He just thinks your pet is super cute and deserves it.

When they do finally come to him, he’s super excited. Even though he doesn’t seem like it. He’ll call you into the room and then just point at your pet like “!!!” After that, that animal is getting all the love and affection he can possibly give.

I have some fake fangs and long elf-like ears, but they’re not really like how I envision mine to be. they’re good enough tho. also I have catish/wolfish ears, and I did have some paws, but my dog ate them. sad times

Siren (the mermaid kind, not the bird kind). sometimes I’m a catkin too, it used to be my most prominent one. the feeling is not as strong anymore. I’m a big wolf lover but idk if I am a wolfkin tho!!

i do feel as if i am some kind of land animal, but I haven’t really figured it out yet.

I don’t take it too seriously, but I don’t really like when people make jokes to otherkin that are bordering mockery. Then it’s just rude.

honestly I’m not super smart on it, but I love to keep an open mind and learn as much as I can!!

I haven’t learnt much about what this term means yet, so I’ll say nothing for now!!

tbh, it’s pretty medium(??) I think therians, like cats/dogs/wolves etc are far more common, and it’s kind of hard to find mer/siren kins. I haven’t seen any other sirenkins like me specifically. (SAD FACE)

R - real body

Do you feel good about your psychical body? Do you experience gender dysphoria?:

I feel gender dysphoria at times because I am non binary, but I’ve learned over the years to love myself and my body because it’s what I’ve been given! and I don’t necessarily feel dysphoria when it comes to being in a human body as opposed to a siren body, it just kinda sucks is all. but I don’t have a real struggle with it like most do.

S - sex

Does therio/kintype have a different sex than you?:

nope! non binary just like me! but they do have female anatomy.

T - traits

What are your alterhuman traits? (E.g. a need to hunt, bark, ect.):

If it’s traits I personally have myself, I’d say hissing, humming, pretending to bite things, baring teeth and claws, the need to swim with a tail, only having baths as opposed to showers

If we’re talking about traits that my siren self has, then I could go on all day about it. but I won’t. lol

U - urges

If you have a theriotype, are you good at controlling your animalistic urges? Do they bother you?:

I’m fine with it, sometimes just imagining/picturing being in my siren element is enough for me.

W - wondering

How do you think you would look like, if you could psychically shapeshift into your therio/kintype? (Describe or put an image here!):

I have silverish-blueish skin, big finned ears, sharp teeth, slitted pupils, gils in my neck and rib area, webbed fingers, claws, and a long scaly tail that is a sort of dark, desaturated blue. and sometimes it’s dark greyish green— depends if I’m feeling swampy or I’m feeling ocean-y lol. my tail has a lot of fins on it, sometimes it’s more shark like, and sometimes it’s more flowy and fish-like. I can’t tell if I have fins on my back or not yet. also I have long long black hair!!

maybe I can draw me in my siren form and post it someday.

If you wanted to buy/make a tail, would it be real fur or fake/yarn fur?:

I’ve been to zoos before a long time ago, but I’ve kind of realised it’s really messed up. I’m not talking about animal conservation places or sanctuaries, I’m talking about zoos. institutions made to hold wild animals captive against their will for the entertainment of humans.

Also has very bad trust issues when regressing, so that's that.

She'll probably watch whatevers on TV when regressing, but sometimes just starts watching baby shows to help herself sleep

She likes going on hikes and walks though, walks especially when pet regressing!!

one of my biggest pet(heh) peeves is when dog owners don't put a lead on their dog...

i know some will say 'oh but i'm in the middle of the countryside so i don't think i need to have a lead' no, a significant number of animals in the countryside get injured or even killed by dogs not on leads all the time

if you're in a place where there are more people around then it's even MORE important to have it on a lead! i'm not outright terrified of dogs, but i am really nervous around them (both because i had an allergic attack to dog hair as a child, and because i've never had a dog in my family or spent any extended period with many dogs) and rarely know what to do when a dog comes up to me

also, when i see a dog not on a lead, i am reliant on the owner having trained the dog well enough not to jump up, especially since i have cats and probably smell a lot like cats which might make a dog over excited lol...

idk, basically please PLEASE keep your dog on a lead, even if u think ur dog is the best trained animal in the world, it's fundamentally dangerous (for the people/wildlife around you, yourself (you don't know how someone might react to a dog running up to them and they might lash out at u) and also to your dog!) for u to be in a public place with a dog roaming on its own.

In what way do you think Spy engages in pet play? even though he's way more comfortable in his sexuality than scout, I just think he’s too prissy to bark, sit in a cage and eat from a bowl .though he does have a fursona so I dunno. Maybe he’d get off on fulfilling an owner/caregiver role?

Now see, this is a common petplay pitfall - it's not just dogs! If Spy were to do petplay, he'd SO obviously be a kittenplayer... kittens can tend to be much prissier and "more refined" than puppies, and they can ALSO subvert the d/s roles a lot, since cats can be notoriously picky and spoiled, the "cats have no masters, only friends" type of thing (I'd also say this applies to like. little white purse dogs with crust around their eyes-play, or any other fancy rich dog). Spy tf2 is like one of those fancy long-haired cats to me, she wouldn't drink water out of a bowl but she might drink milk out of a teacup (and not all petplay is the same! I don't think Spy would get on his knees to do the milk thing, but might do the cat lapping-tongue thing while holding the cup or saucer with his hands, and that can still be petplay!)

However I also think an owner/caregiver role would also suit her. There's a certain kind of like "fancy dog owner" role that I think is fun, especially for a sniperspy thing in my opinion. Sometimes u need a dog to bring you the newspaper in your smoking room, or a fancy cat to stroke in your smoking room, or idk. some other animal one could reasonably have in a smoking room

Currently: I have tallulah as a borzoi and I’m kinda reluctant to change it… I’ve become attached to the lanky dog, plus make it asthmatic? Silly creature….

and bc tallulah is so big, I wanted chay to be small as a funny size comparison. I toyed with the idea of some kind of bird but couldn’t find one I was dead set on so I looked at small cats and dogs. I like the idea of a fluffy orange and white tabby or even a Maine coon but I’m not sure if it would fit his personality. I don’t see Phil owning a dog either but that’s why I like tallulah being one…
