🐚 Daughter of Neptune headcanons list 🌊 part one..

Note: I've never done a pjo hcs post like this with the aesthetic pictures and everything- but I've been Itching to make a daughter of Neptune one, since I consider myself as a Neptune child. So this is sort of a self insert haha, and I thought it'd fun cuz I have so many hcs abt this, I've only over seen ppl do a daughter of Poseidon one.

Also this one has reader x Jason Grace as romantic pairings, but it isn't the main focus. Like I said, this is a self insert, and I love my bb jason ;) + imagine having Percy as a big brother, goals fr

• Okay so you'd come to Camp Jupiter at the age of 8-9, so you definitely have a considerable amount of childhood before you came to camp. Which only made it harder for you to adapt to the barbaric ways the Roman camp worked.

• Also, Since Neptune was not a very respected Roman god, your arrival was considered bad luck. Octavian made you go through an intense trial (that motherfucker was like 10 years old and an augur, and was already such a bitch lol) + forced a newly elected praetor Reyna (who was also just 10 at the time) to hold a senate meeting before you were even offered a position at camp.

• Neptune is very feared by the romans though, since he represented the harsh brutality of the ocean, so you got the Roman Nico di Angelo treatment from camp. Everyone was scared of you, flinched when you walked passed them. this was to your advantage tho, since you never got bullied, mostly out of fear.

• so Neptune temples in Camp Jupiter are only taken care of by you, if you left for a quest or something then the shrines would be in such a horrible state, bc no one cares enough to offer Neptune anything or even clean up his shrine. You'd do the cleaning and offering.

• and the worst part? Your dad wouldn't even notice you even after your efforts.

• okay, your powers are quite similar to Percy's butt I feel like since Roman/Greek siblings always have powers that compliment eachother, you'd have better control over the earthly side of the domain. Like you can cause longer earthquakes, control seismic waves, and make volcanos erupt + cause bigger avalanches, Stuff like that.

• Your water control was actually a little limited, up until Percy arrived and helped you enhance your powers. And you helped enhance his control over earthquakes, since his earthquakes usually only lasted for a few seconds, his dad is more water dominant. So when you met him, you knew he was a missing puzzle piece in your life. You'd even be able to communicate telepathically to Percy underwater, a power you both never knew you needed.

• Seriously tho it would be hilarious to look at, bc to the others, you both sound like squeaky dolphins but in reality you are just telepathically speaking with one another. The others wouldn't understand, and poor Frank would be so confused as to why you both are making strangled fish noises

Leo would troll you guys so bad for this lol

• your eyes would actually be black. Not blue, not sea green, just black. Your eyes would literally glitter like black obsidian rocks. because Poseidon is the calm side of ocean, hence sea green eyes for Percy, Neptune is the dark and scary side of the ocean, so that's black eyes for you. that difference would clearly reflect in your guys's eye colours AND personality (I'll expand on this more in part 2)

• but your scariness comes with a downside, you had no friends. No friends, except Jason and Reyna. it's just your dad's naturally strict aura surrounding you that makes your overall personality a Lil grumpy and moody tbh. You did have such a resting bitch face that wasn't helping either.

• Jason, being the noble boy he was, knew you were going to be his friend the moment you made a dramatic entrance to camp for the first time, getting scouted by the waves to New Rome. He knew what it was like to have a powerful, scary dad, but he acknowledged and empathized that you had it harder than he did. He was considered a golden boy, while you were considered a scary bad luck charm. But regardless of that, Jason was your first best friend. And eventually, your boyfriend.

• Reyna on the other hand, badly wanted to befriend you because she admired your mental strength, you were 9 years old and you were openly scoffed at by the legionnaires simply because your father was a scary man. Yet you handled it all so well. But she befriended you a little later than Jason did. Since she was so busy, she barely had any time to chat with anyone. You, Jason and Reyna bonded as a trio when you guys had your first quest.

• Reyna secretly shipped you and Jason from the very beginning lol, bc a Jupiter x Neptune union? Y'all were powerful and cute af together. The mutual pining drives her crazy though, like kiss already smh.

• Also, Nicknames! Your nickname was ALWAYS "kelp head" because your hair was wavy and shaped like seaweed lol. As much as you hated to admit it, the name fit a little too well.

• okay enough with the friendship stuff, let's talk about how much that bastard Octavian makes it his mission to make your life a hellhole. It isn't even funny anymore, he hated you from the very beginning. Not only because you were considered bad luck, it's because he envied that you were a direct descendant of such a powerful God, he couldn't even handle Jason's arrival, yours was just the last straw for him. He opposes your opinions in front of the whole senate + prevents you from getting elected as Centurion + attempts to prevent you from going on quests, bc he can't handle someone else taking the glory.

• He was also the reason you were put into the unpopular twelfth legion. The underdog legion. But Jason? That sweetheart made it worth being in the twelfth legion so you weren't complaining tbh.

• honestly? Octavian and you are famous in camp for your bickering though lol it's just always a back and forth between you and him, such burning rivalry and enmity. You LOVED roasting him and you were fucking great at it too. He deserved that for making you go though hell. You'd laugh like a maniac when he trips and he smirks when has the upper hand against you in senate discussions.

• Reyna is the only reason you both didn't beat eachother up at this point tbh

• once, Reyna came running up to you all panicky because Octavian went missing from camp. In response, you beamed and told her that you'd get the balloons ready in the dining hall for a grand celebration. Jason would burst out laughing lol.

• you'd steal his teddy bears and give them to younger campers, asking them to hide it from octavian. So the younger campers absolutely adore you, unlike the older ones.

• you are also quite the rebel in camp, JUST like Octavian predicted you would be, when you first came to camp. It was actually written in his auguries that the new child of Neptune arrival would be always shafting the rules, since the sea can't be controlled. It's in a nature for a Neptune child to walk their own pace (lol have you seen Percy??) That gave another reason for him to hate you.

• Even some of the lares in CJ would call you an abnormal roman bc you never acted like one. You were wild and temperamental.

This rule breaking tendency you had did earn you lots of punishments that included scrubbing the whole camp with a toothbrush. But it was worth it for you. Camp Jupiter sucked. And you were already in trouble, so what's a little more, right?

• you'd sneak out at night to explore New Rome, because again, the Romans had this weird bedtime curfew like. they have rules for every. Fucking. Thing. It pissed you off so bad. They wouldn't even let you explore the city at night? They were seriously wasting the beauty of the city, You'd definitely rope Jason in to break the rules with you. Like don't be such a goody two shoes smh. I feel like that's what attracted him to you in the first place. He's a goody goody boy with such a boring life, youd just make it interesting for him.

• besides, sneaking out is SO much easier when you can fly. So Jason is your personal airplane. The Jason Grace airlines.

• okay so after all your hardwork in the legion, you'd finally get elected to Centurion, after you successfully finished a quest to retrieve a lost Roman artifact, which was formerly Jason's position and he would become a co praetor with Reyna. But you were still very much disrespected in camp tbh, it just became an internalised thing for everyone to hate you at this point, Octavian was also great at putting your reputation under dirt, but you didn't really care anymore.

• now here comes the catch, Jason and you were sort of in a half-pining half-relationship situation, Before that jerk goes missing. because neither of you knew how to confess, and camp was SO strict when it came to relationships for some reason?? Like even dating has to be lowkey.

• you and Jason are totally the grumpy x sunshine trope lol except you're the grumpy, snippy and batshit one and jason is calm, levelheaded and optimistic one.

Perfect balance. Gosh your dynamic would be so cute :(

• you'd just be grumpily stomping around while jason stalks behind you, laughing lightly. You're super short compared to him aswell, so yeah it makes it funnier.

• You were in charge of welcoming Hazel to camp, since Jason and Reyna had some serious meeting stuff about the new prophecy Octavian told them about.

• poor hazel would be scared to death while meeting you, not just bc it's you, it's bc she just came back from the dead, so this is all rlly new for her.

• That's where you met him. Nico di Angelo. You'd bond over your shared mistreatment in camp. So you became homies w him fairly quickly. He saw you as this cool big sister he could have happy meals with talking abt life.

• you would be a little curious when he keeps disappearing off to somewhere tho, you knew he was lying about where he came from.

this pic was supposed to become a lineup of Magical Girl Mountaineers but i realized designing 7 cohesive yet distinct magical girl designs is a mite difficult. so i will just ramble abt the au instead

My sister helped me come up with it ofc. shout out to her <3

ok so from left to right: Joel (green, axe), Grian (red, tnt), Impulse (yellow, hammer), Gem (blue, trident), Scar (orange, bow), Skizz (black, sword), Mumbo (purple, end crystals).

Big Salmon is their benefactor/god/boss. tells them what to do. skizz would prob be the first to aquire his magical girlieness. all their outfits would have some sort of nautical design. and also maybe cherry blossoms (this is why i didnt actually draw it. theres so many elements to balance)

the snails are their lil friends. whatever the cat does in sailor moon (ive not watched it o7)

their transformation trigger is either the salmon noise or a bell. while they transform, time freezes. if ur nearby, ur still concious and can hear "please hold" playing. this is a tactic to give them an advantage as it deals psychic damage. in their own personal bubble, the magical girl's timelapse music plays.

He was amazed when he first saw your eyes, one being one-toned then the other two-toned, he’s rarely seen anything like this on social media much less in real life.

Was definitely happy that you trusted him enough with something that you usually cover up from other people!

Whenever you two are alone in either Ramshackle or in his room in the Pomefiore dorm he always faces you in bed just to admire you, whether or not you’re awake.

He loves you a lot and thanks the Seven for letting him meet someone as unique as you.

If someone suddenly bursts in the room (usually one of the Adeuce duo or Grim if you’re in Ramshackle) either one of you rush for the blindfold to cover your eyes again if you don’t want to show others yet.

This doesn’t happen at all if you’re in his room in Pomefiore though because everyone knows how to knock there <3 that’s why he prefers for you two to spend time in Pomefiore.

¡ Azul Ashengrotto !

Azul’s deathly aware and experienced in things such as insecurities, he was over the moon when you let him see your eyes for the first time because that means you trust him a lot and that makes him happy!!

The tweels tease him sometimes for being the only one in your little friend group without a form of heterochromia to which he just scoffs at.

If you two are just sitting in his office or in one of each other’s beds I feel like he’s the type to just suddenly pinch your cheeks impulsively

“What was that for, Azul” you whined while you rubbed your cheek ‘You just look too cute for your own good’ was what he wanted to say but what came out was “I just wanted to” as he buried his face on your shoulder, but you got his message either way.

I WENT OFF TRACK WAIT

If you two are in the same class he likes to just sit and stare at you lovingly but as discreetly as possible if the teacher gives some free time, not just admiring your dual colored eyes but the entirety of you in general.

Does the same thing as Vil where he rushes to cover your eyes if someone suddenly comes in, but in a less panicky way to not cause the other person to ask any questions, especially if it’s a person that you’re not comfortable seeing your eyes yet.

Jade knows when it’s time to joke around (though a lot of his jokes end up sounding like threats) and when to be serious, and of course trusting him enough with something like this is something he’ll take seriously.

He thinks your eyes look like the painted pebbles that somehow survived to sink to the depths where he and Floyd live, they look beautiful.

Heterochromia couple!!

Respects the fact you’d rather hide your eyes from others, though he doesn’t understand why since he thinks it’s the prettiest thing he’s ever seen but even if he doesn’t get why he won’t pry for an answer.

Even if you both have heterochromia he thinks yours is so much more beautiful because it looks like one of your irises is painted which makes you so much better!

I feel like he’d keep accidentally covering your eyes with his hand instead of your blindfold if someone suddenly walks in the room without knocking, it takes him a while to go for the piece of cloth first before his hand.

Whenever he goes out shopping by himself he’d sometimes buy you one or two blindfolds that have designs on it unlike your plain black one to just change things up a bit, but of course no design that would make you look like a fool, he doesn’t aim to humiliate you.

If someone keeps overstepping your boundaries and constantly asking to see what’s under your blindfold Jade’s there in an instant to stop that person, by force if needed <3

For oz au i’ve been thinking about how it would be cool if the colour green was like synonymous with being fake, like the emerald city itself and its citizens all wearing green cuz their all fake snobs, Tails is wearing green cuz he's keeping up lies, pretending to be the wizard and Eggman wears green too cuz he’s pretending that he’s a jolly old man and not the wicked witch of the east

All except Sonic who, pre-being evil, wears red's and browns and so he stands out among the other ppl in the emerald city

He's the outlier, and when he physically turns green it's kinda like representing the fact he is kinda like the monster that all these lies created, which is also why the ppl of Oz call his looks monstrous and off-putting, kinda like a reflection of the things they don’t wanna acknowledge ig idk im still ironing it out lol

The placements on each tier is deliberate, the closer the character is to the top of that tier, the higher they are. I judge them by: >Prominence of the Talent, its practicality >Relevance to the character's identity/personality >Colour and aesthetics :]

[ramblings undercut]

[S-TIERS]

Like Gundham for example is an S-Tier design as it ticks all above boxes whilst still in a school uniform. The Four Dark Devas are important to the design, they go with him everywhere and the 5 of them are a UNIT which shows his strong connection with animals. I love the bandages and the eye-scar as it has a double meaning that indicates yes he works with animals (they can be rowdy), but as a character Gundham builds onto this detail using these scars to create this dark angsty facade. Aesthetic-wise by his hair he has a unique character silhouette, and I like how his purple is made the focal point by the blacks and whites of his uniform... both reinforcing the villain-facade and highlighting the importance of the Four Dark Devas.

Similar reasonings for the other Top 2 of Souda and Miu this time toppled with the strong yellows and pinks in their design. It's eye-catching and easily conveys what their talent is. (I really wish they kept Miu's promo-art backpack into her regular sprites, imagine her emoting with 4 arms isn't that awesome >:] )

Honorable mention to Impostor (Twogami) as well. While the regular Togami design is... mid. I really appreciate how contrasting Impostor's colours and accessories are down to the necktie and poses! Like yes they are impersonating Togami, but their values and personality as a person are not the same. The deception of Togami's dark clothing vs honest white suit of the Impostor's. Impostor fucking CLEARS regular togami any day on all accounts I will die on that hill.

[GOOD CHARACTER DESIGN]

A lot of the talent indications on this tier are more subtle in compare to S-tier but they get the job done and they do it in a pleasing way (I like the colour palettes on Chiaki, Mikan and Ibuki for example). Like I loveeee Sonia's uniform especially for it's simplicity. And yet the design still alludes to the Princess talent by elegance in the bow, the brooch, her crowned braid and how the shape of her skirt resembles that of a puffy princess gown. I also think the reds in the design like Snow White are a cute touch!

To me, Sonia should be the standard in what a Danganronpa design SHOULD be in accordance to detail.

[BAD CHARACTER DESIGN]

[ie the Green and Blue tiers] Reasoning why I put them here mainly because of wasted potential, either too basic (in a sense it doesn't tell much about that character) or not practical in any way for their talent... I HATE Ryoma's stripe leggings ik he went to prison but the execution of the concept looks awful.

And I hate Akane's and Sakura's outfits particularly cuz you KNOW why they made those skirts so short and I hate that. We could have gotten awesome gymnast of martial artist outfits but no......

I added Kiibo in that bottom tier because structurally even as a robot he is a visual nightmare if you're an artist trying to draw him. Especially when most of his suit is different shades of black and complicated chest cavity. And I despise the way that it looks like these robo-plates are attached on top of what looks like fabric long sleeves and pants as if the designer was too scared to fully commit to him being a robot. He is NOT 3D-optimised and he is NOT animator-friendly I'd throw up if I ever had to deal with him.

this is a post about my brainrot over bkdk and everlark(katniss and peeta from hunger games) having parallels based on the same colours they represent🐢

colours that they represent:

peeta: orange bakugo: orange

katniss: green deku: green

even though peeta and bakugo represent orange, there is a contrast. bakugo and katniss are a better pair. let me explain by individually going through each of them.

starting with deku, full name izuku midoriya, midori in his name means green and midoriya means greenvelly

i am taking this as reference

coming to katniss everdeen, she represents forest green. forest is her home, she feels the safest in there, forest keeps her hidden from everything. she and gale have this idea of running away from everything and living in the woods forever so they dont have to face snow, the hunger games and the after effects of it. meaning of deku's name also fits her perfectly.

coming to the orange boys, katsuki bakugo, his colour is orange because of his last name and his quirk that are both 'explosions'. The left part of his kanji stands for fire. his name goes well with his personality and character.

my sweet bread boy, peeta mellark, says his favourite colour is orange, the sunset orange, the soft orange. it contrasts from bakugo's orange that is explosive but is similar in a way because both indirectly and directly mean fire. peeta's name comes from pita, a type of bread, going well with his character too. peeta's name, even though very literally meaning bread, has so much significance i could write an essay but i WONT(i swear, this post is going to be long djdhjd sorry), i will only write things that are important. so

1) panem, the country peeta and katniss reside in, gets its name from a phrase 'panem et circenses' that means "bread and circus". i think many people would be able to relate it to mha just from this if you know what the phrase means. this describes how if you give people bread(food and clothes- a life of ease) and circus(entertainment), they would not really care about anything else or anyone else who is suffering, they would enjoy their life in atmost ignorance. now peeta, who means bread, gives panem just that, entertainment. he entertains the people of the capitol who live in luxury by his 'star crossed lovers' story.

2) bread is made by heating up a soft dough, symbolises all the struggles he went through to get where he is now. this connects him to bakugo, bakugo's character is literally "win yourself"-the second meaning of katsuki. how bakugo, a brat, grows up and struggles to be the self he is right now. a soft, tender and delicate dough shaped into a sweet bread.

ok so now that i have laid out the meaning of all four and why they represent the colour they do, i wanna point out how katniss and bakugo/ deku- peeta fit together.

1) the personalities- bakugo and katniss are fierce, not afraid to say or do anything they want, talented and strong. they also are rather...insecure, they dont want to appear "weak". this is highlighted in katniss' case when she shoves and hurts peeta in book1 when he lies about them being lovers. she says "he made me look weak" when all peeta did was help her

who else thought the other's help was an act of pity and made them look weak? :D our sweet boy bakugo, who pushed deku's hand away that was there to HELP him but he thought it was an act of pity, that deku thought bakugo was below him and thats why deku thought of helping him. but both deku and peeta had no intentions like that.

katniss and bakugo, no matter how talented and strong, are not 'appealing' to the public eye. bakugo curses and shouts at people and katniss kinda does the same too jdjd not cursing but her personality pushes people away(not my opinion cuz i love her but thats how its in the books). bakugo shouts "die" and katniss actually k/lls people dkdjjd love them cutie patooties.

apart from the scene i just mentioned above, peeta also helps a starving katniss when they were kids and katniss questions his motives till they meet again(at the age of 16). very bkdk river scene coded too where bakugo falls into the shallow river and all his friends are laughing but deku rushes to help bakugo up and asks if he is ok but bakugo smacks his hand away thinking deku is looking down at him and now bakugo regrets not taking his hand. also this scene stays rent free in katniss' head like how the river scene stays rent free in bakugo's 😭 peeta remembers it but it doesn't plague his head like it does to katniss.

majority of book1 katniss questions peeta's intentions, thinks about how peeta is lying to her and what manipulative tactics he is going to use to win the games. much like bakugo who accuses deku of lying to him about not having a quirk and deceiving him. bakugo also doesn't trust deku in the initial chapters, questions his motives behind the things he does.

katniss and bakugo solidarity, the tsunderes.

now that i think about it, katniss and bakugo are very barbie coded djhdjd as in "she is barbie and he is just ken".

katniss and baku are individual people with goals and ideals and their own motives, they dont think about love and friendship that much, they are focused on what they want and they strive to achieve it.

now coming to the Ken's🥸 peeta in the series exists to support katniss. peeta in both games had one motive and it was to save katniss. deku too desperately wants to save bakugo, time and time again he wants to save bakugo but cant. katniss and deku are similar in a way that they both fail to protect the one that means the most to them. this made me remember, like in book1 katniss questions peeta, takes him for granted, kinda(?) uses him to survive and win but in the second games she is dead set to save peeta, doesn't matter if she dies, peeta is #1 priority. she knows peeta will sacrifice himself any chance he gets so she is there to look over him. very similar to bakugo in the 1st war arc. deku is there, doing hero things and ready to sacrifice himself and bakugo is there looking over him, seeing how he is destroying himself and saved deku with his own life(he doesn't die there).

reminds of a scene in book2 where peeta's heart stops and katniss cries and screams to finnick to save him. and deku screaming after bakugo gets kidnapped

peeta fell in love with katniss when they were children, he admired her since then. he looked at her in the corridors of the school, my man is a simp. deku is also a simp(this is a joke, i am trying to keep this post neutral and not including any headcanons, if i did, i am sorry), bro admired bakugo since they were kids, bakugo was his image of victory.

now coming to the point of "bread and circus". even though the hero society in mha is not entirely distopian like hunger games, this sentences fits here too, very perfectly. how the hero society was set up, the civilians were pushed to became the audience, no one without a hero license is not allowed to fight or hurt anyone, not even students in hero training who dont have a license. this made the civilians entitled and ignorant. entitled cause they started thinking that heroes exist for them, they are supposed to fight for them(much like how people in real life treat soldiers or doctors, they take them for granted) and ignorant to all the struggles heroes go through. not just heroes may i correct myself but also people around them, if anybody has a quirk that doesn't fit the societal standards(like toga's, she has to drink blood to become someone else for some time), they are treated differently, deku who was quirkless was bullied, by bakugo and literally so many others, even adults, he was treated differently than everybody else. examples can go on but you get the point, people of japan in mha get bread(a life of ease) and circus(entertainment as heroes fight with their life on line and people watch in awe as if its some action film). the people of the capitol(panem, hunger games) are like that, they watch teenagers killing each other on screens as entertainment, they bet who would win etc.

peeta and deku fit right in. i explained how peeta fits, now ill talk about how deku fits. deku, a "true hero" like his predecessor all might, who wants to save people with smile but as the series goes on, he himself cant smile bcoz the burden on him. people want their bread and circus from him and want to stay ignorant to his struggles. they wabt him to protect them and give them the life of ease back to them, they want him to fight the villains while they sit comfortably but when he needed protection, when he needed rest, they straight up said no. like the people of capitol or even some people in the district who hated katniss when she became the mockingjay(face of the revolt) but loved when she was serving as a cute little girl in love and giving people the entertainment they needed.

god the way i love everlark. its the writing that is sooo good, you can keep reading into it and making connections and keep analysing the text. same reason why i love bkdk so much cuz they have material that you can keep analysing.

i thought of all this when i recently watched hunger games movies again and went "wait....green and orange...sounds familiar🥸" sjdhjd. then i kept thinking and found so many parallels between them. take this as an disclaimer that i am not saying that bkdk are based on them or ANYTHING, its just my brain mixing up two things that i am obsessed with<3

Why the DHMIS youtube series is centred around ASD (autism), entirely based around just the songs for now

All three of the main guys show so many ‘tism traits

- all hate change at different points

- every single song relates to a different ‘tism symptom/trait/stereotype

The Creativity Song

- children with ASD are a lot more likely to display a deep sense of creativity and imagination

- they often show lower performance in creativity as it’s all in the brain and unable to express it

- which is essentially the entire song

- the notebook (social rules) is explaining to the three guys how to be creative, limiting what they’re allowed to do, and everything they suggest themselves is told wrong

- yellow guy paints a clown ridiculously quickly and he’s told to “slow down” and destroys the painting (destroying autistic kid’s creativity because what they can express is usually entirely outside of the primary school education)

- the childish primary school activities that ensue that they keep doing “wrong”

- “green is not a creative colour” (this feels like a long shot but there’s the primary media theory that essentially because he doesn’t pick a primary colour like red guy chooses blue and green guy chooses red, he’s not following the primary education, and so this can link to growing up too fast which is a thing a lot of tism kids are forced to do, so yellow guy is ‘mature for his age’ choosing green, and obviously notebook is not happy)

- and then the whole chaos that ensues is mostly the horror aspect, if I can get some film analysis in during a rewatch i shall

The Time Song

- it’s more an adhd trait but it happens in asd too, simply just the disassociation from time

- also obsessive schedules, as to not lose the concept of time

- “an old man died but look a computer”, theorised as the clock keeping the guys from thinking about death to lure them into whatever horror he’s got in store, however what about the fact that autistic people while more empathetic than neurotypical will often not be effected by the concept of human death unless they know them, (idk how much sense that makes but say a cat died that you never knew, that’s sad, but a human dies that you never knew, no feelings, obviously people you know it’s a different story a lot of the time but hopefully you know what i mean)

- the entire scheduling, with fish and bath, forcing of schedules so you don’t lose track of time, cuz often people with asd won’t eat unless they think about the time as hunger isn’t something they will always feel

The Love Song

- my absolute favourite and jesus christ there’s a LOT

- so the yellow guy is aroace, poly, and autistic, and it all shows in this song

- he calls a butterfly a “little baby pigeon”, this is tism in itself

- the first part of a song is literally about how people are ‘different’ and in an ideal world it wouldn’t make a difference and they should live in harmony

- PLEASE

- I can quote every single line in this song and go “THIS IS AUTISM”

- autistic people obviously can feel love, but it’s another concept like gender that in most cases is so much more confusing

- “no it’s a feeling deep inside” “because I’m hungry” - !!!!!!!

- by the end of the song monogamous marriage begins being displayed like a cult

- why would you demonise monogamy in a show like this?

- apart from maybe the fact most autistic people are polyamorous

- because, social rules aren’t real

- and humans are biologically polyamory

- it’s just social conventions that make us monogamous

- but when you’re autistic

- you’re more likely to ignore that

- and they can tell you the time

- also the fact that autistic kids are more drawn to technology and being ✨online✨ as an escape from the real world

The Healthy Song

- metaphor for ARFID, an ED that’s associated with autism

- as I said I’m not rewatching the actual episodes yet so I’m going entirely off what I remember (which isn’t a lot cuz I hated this episode with a passion) and the song on a spotify playlist

- the explanation of hunger at the start, which is something confusing in autistic people

- pretty sure the can and the other lad will only let the guys eat plain food in little amounts and claims that’s ‘healthy’

- also the explanation of the body as a house, it’s just all very confusing which is a metaphor in itself

- even though ARFID is an ED around the texture of foods and not amounts it still kind of makes sense??

- this one’s a bit of a stretch

- but bread, cream, and plain white sauce keeps the body ticking over??

- that’s limited flavour and texture

- fancy show-offy foods like cooked meats, fruit salads, soil food and yolk is bad

- and I can’t tell a lot from the song apart from it reflects on the entire series

Who is your favourite driver?

Oscar Piastri!! And also Logan, my favourite unlucky guy :,)

Do you have any other favourite drivers?

I like most of the grid, but especially Lewis, Yuki, Alex and Zhou!

For non current drivers, I gotta say my fellow Germans, Nico Rosberg and Sebastian Vettel

I’m also taking this as my cue to say how much I love the F1 Academy drivers! Especially Doriane cuz I was following her even before she joined! But also Tina, Lia, Chloe and Abbi (Some of them are really carrying their teams, Amna is making that VCarb suit actually look good)

Who is your least favourite driver?

Daniel Ricciardo, I’m guessing. Sorry for all his fans but I already disliked him before the DR hate train started this year, some of the stuff he said really irks me

Also Carlos kind of because he constantly has beef with my favourite driver and I’m currently not too fond of Lando either (cuz of the Trump stuff :/)

Do you pull for drivers or do you like teams as well?

Teams as well, although I mostly start out liking them because of the drivers! Williams for example (and Gee, you’re so real, I’d also kill for Lia Block)

If you like teams, what team do you pull for?

Williams and Mercedes, Williams because I liked their drivers first and then started to like the team in itself too. I like Mercedes mostly because it’s one of the first f1 teams I knew and my sister is a big fan!

If you could take over as team principal for any team, who would it be and why?

I would simply not. I’d maybe be convinced to do marketing but I can’t even manage my own schedule

But if I really had to, I’d go for Sauber probably? Not the pressure that’s on teams like Ferrari, scandal free drivers, a marketing team that tries to rebrand Zhou as wizard and a cool colour scheme. Would even dye my hair neon green again as a publicity stunt.

How long have you been in F1?

Not thaaaat long to be honest, since August last year probably but I got even more intensely into it a few months later, after I finally got how everything works

What got you into F1?

It’s a long story comprised of multiple small stories basically

I always watch Top Gear/Grand Tour with my dad and one day they reviewed the McLaren Senna and I thought it was a super neat car, because of the glass in the doors and I decided that McLaren will be my favourite Luxury Car brand now.

I slowly got into cars a bit, but not really motorsport itself until we went to an outlet Center and I got myself a cheap Mercedes AMG jacket, because my Uncle is a huge AMG fan and I liked the cars. After I bought it I noticed that it said F1-Team on it too, so I followed the Merc F1 account cuz I didn’t want to get asked about it and then not know anything.

A few months later we went into the Gran Tourismo Movie and one of my friends and I loved it so much we started getting into motorsport. Then I followed the McLaren F1 account because of their previously mentioned car I liked. That’s probably why Oscar is my favourite driver. (I still remember being super confused when my friend tried to explain all the rules to me when I could only remember like 6 drivers)

Do you enjoy fanfic/rpf?

I can’t say I read it, although it’s also inevitable to stumble upon it sometimes. It’s just not for me but I ain’t judging people for it, there’s weirder stuff you could do.

How do you view new fans?

I still consider myself a kind of new fan, even more so in MotoGP, so I can’t judge! But even in fandoms I’ve been in for a long time I like meeting new fans because it’s a cool thing to share your passion for something!

Are your friends and family into F1 as well?

My sister currently is (because i forced her to watch races with me) and a lot of my family watched it like 30 years ago but not anymore. My uncle likes motorsport but thinks F1 is too elitist (which, fair point, but still)

I have one friend who’s into it as hardcore as me. The rest of my friends just listen to us ramble lmao

Are you open to talking to other fans/making friends?

100%! I don’t know how to actually start talking to people because this is the first tumblr account I made to intentionally share what I say but rest assured, I love making friends and chatting with people, even if it’s not about motorsport!

Okay so I’ve been seeing people redesigning the tmnt boys, and I wanted to put my own spin on it.

(These are just my extremely altered versions of the turtle boys)

So here they are!

I thought that it’d be cool if each turtles respective colour was gained through their actual species. And yes I’m aware none of them are green anymore, which is something I also thought was weird but another part of me really digger the idea of pushing the limits of these redesigns. So.

A bit of origin of these turtles

Basically splinter was a loyal member of the Hamato clan, however after falling in love with Tang Shen. He moved to New York with her and they had a child, (ya know her, ya love her) Karai. But life in New York can be extremely hard, and so in order to make some more cash on the side, splinter decided to take on underground fights. One day he looses a guy a lot of money and said guy basically kidnapped splinter. And the rest is kinda based mainly off the the rise origins.

Splinter is given to the foot clan by this guy, who at the time said foot clan is experimenting on animals. Trying to make them into mutants, they use splinters dna in this and produce the turtles. But in the same night, a fire is started which causes splinter to both get accidentally mutated into a rat and also allows him to escape with the turtles. As he felt personally responsible for their existence.

However, when it came time to return home to Tang Shen, he couldn’t do it. Being a rat and all. So he went and hid away in the sewers, as ya do. And decided to raise his turtle children in hopes that one day they’d be able to track down the foot clan and find a cure for his mutation.

Here’s some info one the boys too

Leo

Leo is a leather back sea turtle, he is the eldest (according to himself). He remains as flamboyant as he is in rise, but is definitely got a sprinkle of the 2012 Leo too. He tends to listen to splinter the most out of his brothers, as he’s splinters favourite he feels a constant need to live up to that standard. Becoming a little egotistical in the process of this.

Being a leatherback turtle he often just swims around. He is one of the better skilled fighters/strategists of his brothers and takes that with pride (he ends up being a bit of a jerk), but also tends to laze about when splinters not around. He is not the leader of the group as the group doesn’t really have a leader and takes on whatever roles fit best for each mission. He’s still heavy into sci-fi and comic books.

Raph

Raph is an albino forest turtle, due to his albinism he has rather bad eyesight. Donnie made him some glasses for it but most the time he doesn’t wear them. Raph tends to be the best in terms of leadership, but strategical thinking is often left to Leo. He is the one who encourages his brothers to keep training, often butting heads with Leo.

Raph is not as quick to anger as he is in 2012 but he still is more susceptible to it compared to his brothers. Although, he is always there for them when they need him. Being a heavy emotional support for his family (in the big brother tuff love kinda way). He’s also got all the sass of the original Raph too.

Mikey

Mikey is a western swamp tortoise, however all his family keeps telling him he’s a turtle. They’re scared his world will be crushed if they find out he’s not a turtle. Why did I make him a western swamp tortoise? Because i love those little guys and their faces are just so Mikey. He’s the most artistic of the group and is extremely into the old masters (painters). He often forces his family to help him with poses for his paintings.

He is just as energetic as all Mikey’s are. He still has ADHD (like in rise, cuz it’s good rep). Mikey is often the one sent in to get info out of people, he’s a real sweet talker. Like Raph he’s also an emotional crutch for the family, being somewhat of a therapist to his brothers and father.

Donnie

I really liked that Donnie was a soft shelled turtle in Rise so I kept him like that cuz don’t change what ain’t broken. Donnie’s practically just rise Donnie for the most part. However, like in 2012 he’s less cynical then rises Donnie. Plus less of a god complex, he still believes he’s the best but doesn’t say it as much as rises Donnie. He maintains his autism form rise Donnie.

Donnie mostly works on new gear for his brothers and himself to make things easier. Leo often points blame at Donnie whenever he’s called lazy because Donnie apparently “set a bad example with all his automatic machines”. Donnie always points out flaws in Leo’s logic, but still loves his brother dearly. And always pops in with a sarcastic remark when needed.

Donnie’s headphone things were def not inspired by the cat earphones.

Uchi - maki #1

@rayshippouuchiha I’ve created one of the Uchi - maki children.

My thoughts while designing Hajime under the cut

Even though Hajime is said to look like Itachi but with different hair colour I still wanted him to look like his own person, that’s why he has a braid instead of a ponytail and his eyes aren’t black but navy blue. I also gave him a sharingan and possible mangekayo form but darker than normal cuz I have this headcanon that only uchiha’s with dark eyes, be it black, dark red/green/yellow/blue can awaken the sharingan but then it’s not purely red, then the sharingan red is mixed with the eyes colour.

While giving Hajime clothes I knew one thing, baggy clothes. He was supposed to also have a coat but it was not cooperating. Also, while lookign to Itachi’s character sheets I found out that young Itachi had no shoes so I thought it would be fun if Hajime also wasn’t wearing shoes too often, or, at all. Also fingerless gloves and black nail polish.

When I was looking for a hawk summon for Hajime I went with the only kind I knew the name of and At first I thought Red Tailed Hawk would be good for him but then I saw Black Faced Hawk and knew this was the one. So Hajime can summon those.

"HEYYY Y/N~!" Scar sings as he flutters in the room. I look up from my paper about some feedback about Scarland people sent. "Hi Scar! What's up mate?" I respond with a giggle at the end from him trying to flut his wings back in a comfy placement.

"Y/N Y/N Y/N!!" Cub zooms in. "Will you come have dinner with us? It's your favorite~!" Scar and Cub singy-song together. "I can't guys. I have so much to read and pin up." I sigh from my old, uncomfy office chair. "But save me some? please please??" "But it's date night! we can neVER skip date night!" Scar begs, trying very hard to sound sweet. "Pretty please!" Cub adds to the end.

"Oh. Oh no." I tear up a little from my mistake. 'Date night was tonight! I thought it was tomorrow!' I think to myself with guilt almost crying from my thoughts being so cruel to me. "Hey hey, Lovely one! No need to cry! you just forgot about it. We still love you." Cub says as Scar picks me up -like the strong man he is- and hugs me as my thin rat-like tail twists around his hips. Cub skrichs my ears softly. Scar and Cub softly try calm me down (it doesn't work very well [ ..]) as they walk me to Scar's elven tree house.

Scar sets me down on a couch and Cub let me cling to him in overwhelming shame. "I'm s-so s-so s-orr-y! I hiccup from crying kinda hard. "It's okay! Sh sh sh." Cub comforts as he rubs my sore back. Scar comes back with sweaters for eveyone. A green cat themed sweater on himself, a cyan science themed sweater for Cub, and a F/C F/T/P for me. after Cub put on his sweater and wraps me up in mine, Scar comes in with F/F and some grape soda. "So. How are you doing?" Scar asks nervously "Okay." I deadpan. I'm tired from crying and the hoards of work I was doing. "Wanna watch Wall-e?" Cub asks. Scar turns on the television but waits for your reply. "Can we watch F/DP/M?" "Sure! Sorry for making you cry Cookie." Scar softly says while cuddling up to me, carefully moving my tail as to not squish it. "It's not anyone's fault. Don't worry." I say while getting comfy inbetween the 2 vexes

"Then why did you cry?" Cub asks genuinely "Did we do something? Did something happen? DID SOMEONE HURT YOU OR YOUR FEELINGS?!" Cub kinda panics when he got to the last 2 bits. Scar also makes it clear he worrys the same. "No. I over thought. It's nothing that can be/could've been stopped." I says as the 2 calm down a bit.

Scar grabs me to his (bangin' scitties! ٩(๑òωó๑)۶ wait. I mean... [꒪ω꒪υ]) chest and Cub snorts in annoyance (at Scar) and scoots over to hug my hips/thighs. 'Oh, how my boys make me feel better.' I think to myself.
