That Scott and Stiles scene just gave me alllll sorts of emotions.

Okay first, side note, I really wish Deaton's sister...whatever her name is...please hold...*searches internet* Ms. Morell! That's what it is. There are too many people to keep track of in this show. XD

Anyways.

Ugh how I wish she hadn't shown up in that moment. Like, I'm glad she's pointing us in the right direction with Lydia and everything, and I'm glad that, despite them being on opposite sides, she clearly cares about her brother, but we were soooo close to having Sheriff Stilinski find out, and UGH I really want him to find out. I feel like things'll be soooo much easier for the boys if Stiles' dad knows too, 'cause then they have two very supportive parents in powerful positions in the know about everything and completely on their side. It would make their lives soooo much easier.

But anyways. That's not the point.

The point is, THE WAY THAT SCENE HIT MY HEART OMG.

Because Scott is right. Telling him would likely make people easier to save. Telling him would theoretically save him some stress.

But Stiles is also right. Telling him would make him involved. Telling him would put him in even more danger than he's already been in.

But the way they were both so quick to agree with the other person to help each other I just...

First Stiles is arguing because he doesn't want his dad to get hurt, and he even acknowledges that Deaton is like a father to Scott and he GETS that, but that's the same reason that Scott totally gets why Stiles doesn't want to put his dad in any more danger. So the second Stiles says that he can't lose both parents, Scott backs down, because he would never want his best friend to have to go through that.

But the second Scott backs down, Stiles realizes that he's letting his emotions get in the way of a pretty smart and logical decision that would probably benefit them in the long run, and the way he backs down and agrees despite all of his emotions telling him not to because he KNOWS it's a good call is just...AHHH THE POOR BABY.

I love them and their relationship so much, and I feel so bad for them both, but I love how willing they are to listen to and be there for each other no matter what and I just...I LOVE THEM OKAY?! <3 <3 <3 <3

And on that note, SOMEBODY TELL ME WHEN NOAH STILINSKI FINALLY FINDS OUT GODD*MMIT! Because he HAS to at SOME point, right? Scott even said it.

Update: Right after this I got the scene with Lydia and Cora and I don't have enough to say to make a whole separate post about it but STILES TO THE RESCUE! Anyways when is Stydia canon? XD

Sigh too bad that’ll never happen, I’m just a boring ol’ human and he’s a mighty god, I could never meet his standards! For now, though, patience is a virtue and boy is he virtuous (paired with all the scritches and petting and stroking, he's taking his sweet time just enjoying the moment and further understanding you as a nuanced being).

Like a video that highlighted specific scenes #No it's just the whole game again but with trivia pop-ups! I love that!!#It reminded me so much of like trivia track or the pop up fun facts from special editions of movies I would watch as a kid #But you can play through them!! You have to click on them and they spin! I love that!!!#I always love hearing the design and development process - fascinating how the playtesters reacted to this new game!#We take it for granted now but yeah I imagine it would've been very confusing at the time #And I was like ''Well it was such a small team and Ms. McLain was such a large part of it - surely she'll have a few bubbles?''#She does lol - as soon as I got to her first one (it was a slow burn! And OH the framing of Lava Lamp against Sakura in the background, frozen in the EXACT moment of his greatest doubt, framed by two falling pillars of water.

AND THE SQUINTING GLARE FROM SYAORAN TO HAMMER HOME THE MOMENT.

Oh fascinating! Syaoran turns away from the fight and Lava Lamp pursues, ready to finish the fight between them. Syaoran vs Syaoran etc etc the big showdown to tie it all together for the third and final time.

BUT FAI AND KUROGANE FACE DOWN EVIL WOLVERINE WITH INSULTS, READY TO FIGHT THE PRICK AT THE CENTRE OF THE UNIVERSE

And we know Evil Wolverine won’t play fair but OH I love the symmetry of it all. That Lava Lamp’s big arc has been seeing himself as the cause for all the problems in the world, and so he has to fight Himself as the final conflict. So Fai and Kurogane get the confrontation with Evil Wolverine here, as they’re in a Much More Direct View of How He Has Hurt Them Specifically and want to make things even. C:

As they deserve!

AND JUST THE. The sheer joy? That Evil Wolverine set them up as enemies, set Fai up specifcally to KILL Kurogane, and planning for him to die as well, and yet here they are? Facing him together? Alive and IN LOVE? Flirting to rub it all in?

Flirting as a sign of defiance?

To show that actually he's not that great, and his plans resulted in THIS? In these easy enemies choosing EACH OTHER and saving themselves from him?

That all his plans only proved how little he could understand them, or what they would do, or what they would CHOOSE? That he didn't accurately predict ANYONE well enough to have the plan work out how he wanted?

That his greatest plan of all time failed and ended up with them in love and standing here, at the centre of it all, and insulting him to his face?

And like Kurogane says, that HE'S the prey now? That Evil Wolverine always thinks he's in control but now they've turned the dynamic around on him instead?

That they're quite specifically here to kill him? TOGETHER?

I just can't get enough of it.
