the thing about the orange heart subliminal is that like. whatever it is it's funny as hell. if it's a little heeheehoohoo enrichment mind game puzzle for us that's funny as hell. if it is a genuine editing mistake that happened bc saying "love heart" with the orange heart had too many connotations then it's even funnier because the failed cover up (and the fact that the new purple heart doesnt match the broken heart emoji) makes it seem like a last minute panic decision, the visuals of which are hilarious. and also the Implications. like whatever it is: funny as hell. and homosexually sinister.

Jonathan is in the front staring out the window like 😐 because Murray wouldn't let him touch the radio or tape deck. It's also playing in the store when they go in.

Imagine the GA having to contend with byler endgame while simultaneously getting rickrolled!?!? That would be too much I fear! LOL

Murray doesn't even say anything to byler directly, but when he does inevitably cross paths with them again in s5, he turns on the most blatant love song that perfectly applies to their situation/feelings, and while they're just sitting there awkwardly, we watch!

What are the first 5 things that pop to mind when you think about Prongsfoot?

oooh okay, okay, not as easy as u think, this one. because the only thing that pops into mind when i think about pf is like. cacophonous screaming. incoherence. a teenage fangirl running around a room, arms waving madly, mind lost in the obsession. im uh. a bit unhinged for j&s, if u couldnt tell so far lol. but i'll try.

soulmates. in every world, they're connected to each other and they'll find each other. it's a comforting thought precisely because of how tragic canon j/s is.

unattainable. both of individually, and together, are so far out of most people's leagues its not even funny. they're an intimidatingly attractive couple, and they're almost always in the middle of an inside joke that no one else understands. their friendship is inherently exclusionary and it doesnt bother them at all

affectionate beyond belief. gosh they're a public menace. in any decent society, they'd get locked up for obscenity and 'offending sensibilities' and 'outraging the modesty of people' etc etc bc theyre SO all over each other all the time. its a problem.

jigsaw puzzle. they fit like one, filling in each other's cracks perfectly. at any given time, they're what the other needs, and both consciously and subconsciously at that. seeing them together is a treat bc they're so in sync its almost unreal. even...magical, one could say ;)

larger than life. they're not. a real couple ykno? its not a relationship you'd want in reality, nor does it make sense for that to happen. it's fantastical and amazing and not constrained by practical concerns. u dont have to worry yourself with minor issues bc these two are just. *that* intertwined. i dont know how to explain this one properly haha but just know, they're not a relatable couple nor do they try to be.

Gotta say one of my favorite small details in Bloodborne was finding out that the hunter’s dream is exactly the same as all the other nightmare realms you’ve been to, except this one is maintained by a great one called Moon Presence that for some reason fully endorses hunters going out to kill other great ones,  and then playing through the game again and catching all the small hints towards this secret that i missed the first time around.

For example it seems like being a subject of the Moon Presence’s realm gives the hunter a unique scent. The Queen calls you a “moon-scented hunter,” and the imposter iosefka remarks on your “moonlit scent” when you break into her clinic. This implies that some people with experience in the blood and magic arts can just look at you and somehow know the great one you (unwittingly) serve, thats such a cool little detail. First time through i just wrote those lines off as eccentric dialogue so seeing them again on new game plus was such a fun surprise.

The end credits of this season have such a Ciel in Wonderland thing going on where Ciel has to face the bad things he's done to people and doing so casts him adrift and he has to wonder who is still going to care about him after all of that and the answer is Sebastian every time. And it's interesting Sebastian is always who he is the most worried about still liking him in the end bc Sebastian is both the person that knows the full extent of who Ciel is and what he's done and Sebastian is the very person who has been enabling Ciel the whole time.

#ciel's morals are so fun to talk about bc i think it's funny when he doesn't give a fuck which is 99% of the time which makes the ways... #...he does give a fuck really really interesting. like it is interesting he's so worried about what sebastian thinks about him when it... #...technically doesn't matter. it's interesting he's so worried about it still when he's made up a hundred ways to make sure sebastian... #...does care about him. it's interesting all of the people ciel hates and he still really loves finny/mey rin/bard #and it is interesting at this point in the narrative he doesn't realize the full extent of how its not just sebastian who loves him... #...unconditionally bc the rest of the people that live in his house and lau and ran mao do still love him knowing who he is #i don't think ciel in wonderland was in a place yet to explore that aspect where they framed it like the whole house hated him post s1 #anyway so much of ciel's feelings are there and concealed under ten different layers so it's interesting how they chose to go with the... #...weakest spot he has for the end visuals and through atonement #and that its interesting its through ciel's perspective bc. i said this when it came out but the lyrics do call back to a lot of... #...hallucination in sebastian's perspective. it's interesting sid brought that vibe when the vibe is a lot different than it was in 2010ish #kuroshitsuji #my kuro posts
