IM SHAKING IM SOBBING WAFHHGAAJGAKA a few days ago I got an notif email that this one a.kiham fic that I really liked has 2 new chapters and i was like "HUH WHAT?????" cuz the last update was last year and AAAAA I FINALLY GET TO READ IT JUST NOW AND ALSBSJSJOASHKAAJ I WANT MOREEE 😭😭😭😭

#the most big brain thing the author made for this fic is changing Aki's occupation from a cop to a firefighter #nO LIKE THAT MAKES SENSE 100% ITS CANON COMPLIANT TOO LIKE SHHH IMAGINE #he wants to be a firefighter so he could save people so what happened to his sister wont happene to anyone #and he always seems like a protector to me so i dont understand why tf Atlus turned him into a fucking cop #LIKE YES OP I AGREE HE ISNT A COP HE IS A FIREFIGHTER THAT IS FACTUAL NOW #asukaspeaker

I probably wrote this before but it was in tags so I don't think people read it lol but anyway Kotone, Shinji and Aki are still orphans in my AU.

Kotone would go live with her aunt. I imagined that after her parents tragically dies, no one actually wants to take her in since her parents were disown from the big family prior before their death. The aunt who takes her in were the only ones who wants to take her in because she was also disown from the family due to her lifestyle and she's the only one that keeps contact with Kotone's parent when they were alive. Okayyy please don't eat me alive but lately I was tinkering with the idea that the aunt would be Elizabeth since she seems like a weirdo (affectionately) but also out of all her siblings, she's the only one that really indulges into mortal world's activity and her SL is so fun she really enjoyed doing human things and gets curious about it so like I imagine if she's actually a normal human I set her to be in this AU, she would be the kind of person that would be open to anything, kind of that cool liberal aunt you want to have. But I also see her to be indulging herself a lot to the point I see her to be hedonistic and hhh she seems to be the kind of person that would sleep around and bring random women (and sometimes men) in the house. Kotone likes her enough to tolerate that (and also because thats her house she could do whatever she wants) but I can see that she also annoyed that Elizabeth just couldn't live at least a week not bringing randos into the house and it constantly became the subject whenever she wants to vent to Shinji lol. I think the issue is that Elizabeth forgets that Kotone's still a teenager and she treats her more like a housemate than how an aunt should be.

Shinji on the other hand would live at a foster home with a few foster kids in that home. I see that the foster parent is the kind of people that basically take those kids in just for the sole purpose of profit so they only provide the bare minimum for the kids including Shinji and due to that reason, Shinji has to work part time job just so he could afford living (since they dont really fed him that well) and also saving up money for when he eventually has to move out and kicked off the program. I also starts to tinker with the idea that one of the foster kid at the home is Ken and despite how Ken doesnt seem to like him, he cares deeply for him and he constantly thinks about how he wants Ken to be with him when he has his own place and financially stable enough to support Ken.

Lastly for Aki, honestly I havent think thoroughly about it. I'm constantly going back and forth between either him also being in foster or he is adopted into an upper class family. His living condition is much better than Shinji's but he couldn't help but feeling guilty that Shinji couldn't live with him and he was still living with survivor's guilt because his sister wasn't able to live long enough to live comfortably like he is in the present times.

#if i turn Elizabeth into Kotone's aunt then it definitely means that theoham is OUT of the picture in this au #like im sorry I love theoham in canon theyre so silly and he's charming too #but like prior to me making this decision I still have a hard time figuring out how to add theo in here #and I still want the velvet siblings to be in this au and I really like Elizabeth so like this is the only way I could add her in #while also having to sacrifice Theo in the process ;w; #anyway I totally based of Elizabeth's promiscuity from Jen's roommate in mtv downtown #like her roommate is promiscuous sure but she also is chill with Jen and gives her advice and girly talk #and also hang out with her so like I see Elizabeth as that kind of person too #just that in this case Elizabeth also unintentionally brings bad influence and/or view towards Kotone #and Kotone despite liking her aunt she thinks that adults are weird for sleeping around for fun lol #lmao this was fun to write out hhh i swear I have more thoughts for the other characters but for now this is what im thinking about rn #00s highschool au #asukaspeaker

Actually I haven't lol and I am unsure if I actually want to add him in the au or nah. I am not really a fan of him tbh but there's also a part of me that starts to think it would be funny to throw him into this teen love triangle drama and make him compete with everyone for Kotone's affection lmaooo

What do you think of shuyuka?

Honestly theyre alright to me. Cute? Absolutely! Tragic? Devastatingly Tragic. Yukari? Absolutely misundertood (i am dreading the upcoming DLC) but I'm just more leaning towards Aikoto when it comes to Minato with anyone else. I just really fw the whole thing of him being one of the major person that 'humanised' her hhhh.

Also I kinda prefer Yukari with Mitsuru lol but like I totally get people liking Shuyuka. Both of them are polar opposite to each other personality wise but yet they both really relates to each other especially when it comes to their struggle losing a parental figure and have no one else they trusted to rely on and actually grief for their lost. Yukari always kept herself guarded and no one was able to take down her wall until it came crashing down after she found out what happened to her dad and Minato chased her down and in her most vulnerable state, after she poured out all the things that she kept to herself for so long, the most idgaf person in the team actually understands her and in fact is comforting her. I know for sure she wanted that and heck needed that for so long, their hug was so short (we need to kill junpei) but it totally feels like that was the first comforting and warm hug both of them receives for so so long.

I totally get their dynamic, both of them just find solace in each other's presence. And I understand other's vision with shuyuka, I totally do. It's just I prefer other pairing than then together hhhh

#also Yukari'a SL starting after yakushima was such a good thing #cuz like i feel if it was any early it wont feel authentic and I would've hated Yukari tbh lol #and it would make total sense that Yukari starts to develop feelings towards minato after he 'cheers her up' #cuz like she only opens up to him after that event and also i always feel like she always sees him as nothing but a weirdo lol #anon #ask

What would be the equivalent of the promise day (save and happy edition) in the highschool AU? Aigis finally getting a small moment with Kotone on the roof, then everyone rushes in to try and ask her out?

Hmmm I actually havent think of it so let me just type this one out on the fly lol

The logical one (and the one almost paralel to canon) is of course all of them graduating. Although in my AU, I honestly have trouble trying to string everyone together, especially since Aki and Mitsu will still remain as a senior. Not to mention in canon they at least have a reason to stick to each other for 1 goal and 1 purpose only which is to eliminate Dark Hour entirely, I just can't think of a very good reason rn why all of the cast would be friends with each other.

What I had in mind is there would be 2 groups seperating, with the outcast being Makoto, Aigis, Fuuka, Shinji and Junpei (sometimes) while the more favorable (or popular if I might say) is Kotone, Aki, Mitsu and Yukari. Shinji is pretty much in his own world and Junpei is pretty much has his own friend group as a school jock (but more of a manfailure kind of way lol). The idea in my head right now is that Kotone serves as a bridge between the outcast and the popular kids so like as time progress, both of the groups would bump into each other more often and maybe all of them will be involve into something, somehow, idk I havent think of that far yet lmfaooo

But god you made me think of something funny like what if Kotone actually has to move far away and Aigis knows this much earlier than others because Kotone told her and on her last week in town and last day at school she finally has the courage to ask her out on the rooftop but word got out about her going away so like everyone rushes to meet her to confess or ask her out as if they cant just text her lmfao that would be so chaotic like they would be "NO I KNOW HER LONGER THAN YOU!" "FUCK OFF I LIKED HER FOR A LONG TIME" "SHE DOESNT LIKE BOYS YOU BOZOS" "Im just her for the action" "YOU IDIOTS ARE PESTERING HER SHE CLEARLY LIKES ME MORE" something like that lmao im sorry its dumb and cheezy but mom said i can be cringe on the internet rawr XD
