Putting these out there for the curious! But also because if anyone has prompts/suggestions/etc I'm willing to hear them! I have. A Good Chance of coming up with ideas for prompts as I go or even realizing I can combine things together but y'know this is where I am

I have completed the Genshin Impact main story. So that's a thing. Also willing to take Honkai Impact 3rd and Star Rail Prompts. Other fandoms I may be willing to entertain are ff7, ffx, yoi, rwby, and atla. I make no promises for anything in the 'may be willing to entertain' section tho)

Totally Drained/Exhausted: Kiamei! From Honkai Impact 3rd. Kiana exhausts herself preparing for a (lengthy) visit from Mei on the moon, in addition to her own very important tasks as Finality. She starts feeling bad before mei arrives, but hides it until she Cannot anymore. pretty much instantly melts into a puddle of exhausted upon Mei's notice tho bc she Can't anymore.

Group Sickfic: i'm not confidently sold on anything but I'm currently leaning towards either the HSR nameless via food poisoning or some variation of the Sumeru Cluster with ??? ideas not solid. Both may eventually be written. I'm leaning into the nameless group fic at the moment. The sumeru cluster... Will Happen. At some point.

Professionalism Failure: STRONGLY considering Alhaitham getting sick during a meeting bc he thought he could keep himself under control. ... not sure if reluctant Cyno dealing with him or Kaveh. Stay tuned!

free day: Kiana tried say something, she really did. But Himeko didn't really believe her since she had a habit of trying to get out of class. Fast forward to that evening when Himeko finds her in the bathroom dazed with a fever, etc.

sick for the first time: Stelle [HSR] has no memories of Before and so as an adult trailblazer gets to be sick "for the first time". It's miserable, but March and Dan Heng take good care of her.

Unfamiliar Surroundings: Su becomes violently ill unexpectedly while sharing a bed (mostly platonically) with Kevin. Set in a nebulous au where Kiana was able to restore his body via manipulation of the imaginary space. ... and didn't kill Kevin for Reasons:tm:. Anyway! Su isn't familiar with the space and without being able to use his mantis powers is also blind. (Honkai Impact 3rd)

Sick in More Ways than One: trailblazer! probably stelle! leaning into the stelleron doing weird shit! Thinkin she picks up something from the crew just in general but it's not Bad:tm: and then she also goes to help herta with SU stuff and things go... south due to a weird interaction in the SU!

late caretaker: Abyss Prince Aether extremely unwell and all he can think about is the way his sister used to hold him, would have taken care of him if things were different. Fate brings them back together, if only for a little while.

sleepy sickie: Shortly after they're reunited in the Chasm, Lumine realizes something is wrong with Xiao-more than his exhaustion, though it certainly plays a factor in everything. He's tired, all the wants to do is sleep. But he's injured and fevered and it gets worse, before it gets better.

panic: sick kaeya set during Diluc's travels away from Mondstadt. ft diluc's vision almost going out.

nonverbal illness indicators: I'm Attempting to formulate a Neuvi/Wrio thing here. Set probably before the scenario of the game. They don't leave their respective stations often, and it would figure that one of the rare times they do find time to be in the same space Neuvi finds himself unwell. He conceals it, but Wrio is learning how to tell.

head pain/injury/ache: Fu Xuan has a migraine, and perhaps should be resting instead of working, but Jing Yuan has not returned to full duty and someone must hold down the Luofu, after all. (Jing Yuan is not particularly amused)

Science for People Who Hate Science by Tierfal -- FMA -- 66k words -- Royed Modern AU, but even if you dislike that ship you might want to give this one a chance; it’s really more of an origfic about two characters losely inspired by Roy & Ed. They run a goofy educational youtube channel and are two dorks in love. Al shows up to make fun of them sometimes. It’s a good time!

The Sleeping Horror of Whiskerford by Eltea -- FMA -- 3.5k words -- another modern AU, in which the gang (Ed, Al, Winry, Riza, Roy, Hughes) plays D&D. Worth it for Ed’s character sheet alone, but overall just a hilarious & fun time.

A Clowder of Cats by Batsutousai -- FMA -- 4k words -- post-canon (a more-or-less canon universe fic for once!), Al settles down and adopts a bunch of cats (AS HE DESERVES)

the butt is a gift by lazulisong -- Teen Wolf -- 1.5k words -- Stiles is pinned to the couch by cats. I think this is part of a larger AU but tbh I don’t care: Stiles, cats, relatable dilemmas, what more do I need?

When the Bough Breaks by The Feels Whale (miscellea) -- Teen Wolf -- 12k words -- A bit of a weird one, but sometimes I like my TW fic weird. post-canon-ish/canon-divergence with endgame Sterek; Stiles is on the outs with Derek’s pack until they learn that he’s adopted a baby, and then they’re suddenly all over to dote on her. I actually really mostly liked this for Stiles’ single parent struggles and (platonic) relationship with the baby’s birth mother, the werewolf stuff & romance was cute but mostly incidental.

Hot Springs and New Beginnings by CorundumBleu -- Hollow Knight -- 3k words -- in a good ending universe, Quirrel, the Knight, and The Last Stag relax at a hot springs and discuss hopes for the future. I recommend looking through CorundumBleu’s other HK fics as well -- there’s a couple other good fluff fics in there and some most angsty but still amazing stories! (I’m biased: CB is my sister & I helped edit these, but still, I think they’re great!)

Sufficient by atheilen -- The Goblin Emperor -- 2k words -- deaged!Maia; in which everyone and particularly Beshelar shows how much they care for and cherish Maia.

Sick Day by avg (AnxiousEspada) -- The Murderbot Diaries -- 4k words -- Overse & Arada are sick; Ratthi and later Murderbot visit to help them out. “To everyone’s surprise, a feverish Overse is SecUnit approved humor-fuel.” (P.S. if you like this fic consider checking out my sequel to it!)

Thrilling Night! Romantic Adventure at the Video Rental Store! by Masu_Trout --  Undertale -- 2.5k words -- wonderful Outsider POV of an employee at a video rental store who gets the admittedly uncertain priviledge of helping Alphys and Undyne pick out a movie to rent for their date night. I’m still not over the movie they end up picking, OMG.

Haaaha so, the problem is…unless there’s enough fic for me to justify a separate doc to myself, half my WIPs are under shit like [fandom] stuffff or, worse, Untitled Document. On the other hand, some stuff I get optimistic and title properly. My big problem is, I'm pretty okay at ideas--but V terrible at follow through. So um Ymmv

Summary: In a war-torn land once ruled by the elements, the existence of the Avatar has turned into mere legend. Victor Nikiforov, a waterbender on the run from Equalist rule, knows that there has to be more to life than living each day just to survive. In a hidden laboratory underneath the forests of the Earth Kingdom, he meets Katsuki Yuuri-- a peculiar test subject on a mission to recover his past. They meet on a cold, December evening, and nothing is ever the same.

Sneak Peak:  

“Listen,” Victor says as he takes Yuuri’s hands in his. They’re rough and calloused, tiny scars adorning his arms from his time in the laboratory.

Victor thinks they’re beautiful all the same, kisses the parts where the small specks of flesh are marred with jagged white.

“What?” Yuuri laughs, and Victor reaches out to him, tucks a lock of his hair behind his ear.

Having his heart beat this fast because of a boy is such a foreign feeling, Victor realizes. It’s quite different from when it’s pounding against your ears because somebody is out to get you, different when you’re not on high alert looking out for booby traps hidden in the ground.

He feels every beat, every pulse of it flowing through him, and he embraces it.

He feels like home.

“We’re going to come out of this alive. I promise you,” He says, and he means it. He and Yuuri raise their palms together, and the soft glow emanates from Victor’s hands, sealing the promise as he places a kiss on Yuuri’s lips. “Okay?”

“Okay."

ALRIGHT SO HERE’S THE SUDDEN HEADCANON FOR YOI x ATLA CROSSOVER I’VE CREATED UNDER AN INSTAGRAM POST

It was mostly based on climates of each country. I imagined Russians as waterbenders but generally using an alternative bending style, snow bending (bc you know,, Russia is cold and snowy). Soo they start with bending snow and then learn water bending techniques. And Japanese characters as firebenders like in ATLA. 

NOW. 

I imagined Viktor as a successful waterbender. He moves with such a grace when he bends water; his long, platinium hair creating a godly scene. He basically dances with water. 

Total opposite of Viktor, Yurio is quite aggressive when it comes to bending. He moves so sharp, he pushes and pulls so hard. His sharpness is actually very useful for snow/ice bending. Yurio throws sharp ice blades around, creates little snow storms etc. But his harsh movements makes it harder for him to bend water. He never learns how to bend water and he's quite sensitive about it.

WHEN WE LOOK AT YUURI, Katsuki family discovers he's a firebender when he was a little kid, probably he got a bit over-excited and burnt something. KATSUKI FAMILY WAS SO HAPPY WITH THIS, THEIR TINY PRECIOUS YUURI IS A FIREBENDER BC HASETSU IS A SMALL TOWN AND THERE AREN'T SO MANY FIREBENDERS. And Yuuri is hyped too! He is basically captivated. Years pass, he learns more about firebending thanks to Minako-sensei and he loves it too. Minako-sensei teaches him firebending in the dance. Yuuri finds it so fun to move, to dance with feeling fire in the depths of himself. But when people in Hasetsu start to pressuring him into using it as a fighting technique he backs away. He can't find the joy he feels when he dances with fire. With the pressure growing, he starts to feel like he's not worthy to be a firebender. He's not as aggressive and scary as the firebenders he'd heard in the tales. Days grow older and with each day passing, Yuuri loses the passion in him. He notices that he can't bend fire like he used to, so he decides to quit firebending. 

NOW BACK TO VIKTOR, monotony of his life starts washing him in greys each day. He dances for people, his shows are amazing! People in his country, in different parts of Europe love his performances so much. But with admiration growing, people start to labeling him as a water deity, something unnatural, too beautiful for this world. This impression makes him a stranger to the actual life. Yurio also admires Viktor, he doesn't show it often but Viktor's ability to move water like he owns water is fascinating and it gets Yurio too. Besides these, there's envy. Yurio wants to be able to bend water like that. 

ANYWAY.

 Viktor decides to go to Japan for a while. To escape the fame that has been caging him like he's an circus animal. And he falls in love with Japan. People don't recognise him, he can take bathes in the most beautiful water he has ever seen. And the day he comes to the onsen is the day he meets with Yuuri. Beautiful, precious, lovely Yuuri. Viktor decides to stay in the Katsuki family onsen as long as he needs. AND OFC HE TOLD YURIO ONCE THAT HE'S GOING TO TEACH HIM HOW TO BEND WATER AND THEN FORGETS ABOUT IT, YURIO COMES AFTER HIM SKCHWKYBWKCUW.

Viktor and Yuuri knows each other a little more with the passing time, they are basically fascinated by other one (Yurio thinks it's disgusting). Yuuri tells Viktor that he used to bend fire. VIKTOR GETS EXCITED. He asks Yuuri to show him a bit. Yuuri is quite shy about it but he shows Viktor the dance. Viktor literally falls for him. So he finds what both Yuri’s need. He gives Yurio the concept of “agape”, and Yuuri the concept of “eros”. This sounds like a ridiculous plan but they do it anyway. They dance with music (with Eros and Agape). 

And it helps. 

Oh god it helps. 

Yurio- who thought that this whole agape thing is basically bullshit- finds peace in the melody. He leaves his body to nature, to water, to unconditional love.

Yuuri, however, takes control of his body. He didn’t do it for so many years, when was the last time he was controlling his body like his body was his own, and was something to love? 

Viktor keeps telling Yuuri to seduce him and Yuuri not being able to resist to Viktor and his racing heart, dances to Eros. He takes control of his body and moves it so passionate, so ambitious, so cheerful with practice after practice. He wants to dance again after so many years. He wants to dance to Viktor, to show Viktor how fascinating firebending is, how good he can dance ("Watch me Viktor."). 

And Viktor, the one who doesn't tear his eyes from Yuuri even for a sec, feels the urge to dance with him. 

So Yuuri and Yurio dance to their own melodies. Yuuri dances until he can feel the heat, the passion, the fire to the edges of his fingertips. Yurio dances until he feels like the water itself, calm and holy, cold and soft, loving and forgiving. And Viktor knew they were already ready in the end of 4th week but he never told them. 

So they dance. 

They dance and bend. 

With them, Viktor finds the joy in the bending again. The most beautiful form of bending, the dancing. So they all bend. Yuuri and Viktor discovers the true meaning of bending in each other, fall for each other. 

They dance and bend.

what type of bender (fire, air, water, eart or non) would each YOI character be in your opinion :)?

Oh yay! These questions arefun! 

As with the Hogwarts housesquestion, this is my personal opinion, don’t hate me, etc. And like withHogwarts, I’m going to go a bit deeper into my choices for the main trio thanthe other characters. Also everyone gets a bending style. I’m taking intoconsideration personality, skating style, and circumstances of the YOI canonfor this. I ended up kinda delving into AU territory here, sorry.

Yuuri

The obvious choice for Yuuri iswaterbender. Graceful and fluid style, working in harmony with the environmentaround them, turns defense into offense - all very Yuuri things and he wouldmake a really great waterbender. However, I would like you to consider thepossibilities of firebender Yuuri(with an entire waterbending family for extra angst).

Consider that firebending isthe most destructive and aggressive form of bending and requires a lot of self-control, emotional balance and proper breathing. Yuuri has anxiety andpanic attacks. Firebender Yuuri, who believes the universe is firmly againsthim and tries to use his bending as little as possible since it’s such adestructive element and he’s afraid of losing control of it and hurting someone.Firebending, which is unique in that it’s the only form of bending where thebender generates their own element instead of taking it from the environment.It doesn’t require so much aggression as strong willpower and drive. An “innerfire” so to speak, which Yuuri certainly has. So the idea of a firebender Yuuri who is full of untappedpotential, who has what it takes to make fire something comforting and creative,something that derives from life and not destruction like he fears, afirebending more akin to that of the Sun Warriors civilization, with more fluidand natural movements (partly influenced from growing up in a waterbendingfamily and copying their movements). He just needs guidance and to find thatspark of confidence and passion.

As an extra detail, since I’mthinking of skating styles as well, Yuuri’s skating is known for its stepsequences and fire bending combat style has a lot of emphasis on highlytechnical foot work.

Also Yuuri raising a babydragon. Just imagine. So yeah, I’m really fond of theidea of firebender Yuuri.

Victor

Now Victor is a waterbender, no doubt about it. Anabsurdly talented one too, I’d bet. Water is the element of change, it’s fluid andgraceful, working in concert with your environment, the most adaptable andversatile form of bending – just like Victor’s skating.

Victor himself is all about constantlyadapting to new situations as he has done so his entire life and throughout hiscareer. He is also open-minded, resourceful, creative and willing to takecalculated risks, which makes him perfect to make the most out of waterbending.The way Victor in the series is also never in direct competition with anyone(he competes with himself really) is also well reflected in the waywaterbenders channel defense into offense and how they turn their opponent’sown forces against them.

So extremely talentedwaterbender Victor, who uses water almost like an extension of his own body,who specializes in ice, and whose seemingly only weakness is his difficulty ingrasping healing.  

Waterbending prodigy Victor whodecides to take firebender Yuuri under his wing, because he’s not going to leta little detail like the fact that they bend opposite elements stop him fromhelping this boy and bring out his full potential.

Yurio

With Yurio, there’s the canonVictor connection and the whole graceful prima ballerina skating which wouldincline me to make him a waterbender as well (albeit a very aggressive one),but I really think he’s another firebender.Really, it’s not hard making the connection between Yurio and the element ofoffensive power, known for its aggressive attacking style and fueled byemotions, drive and desire. Firebending has a lot of whirling kicks and swiftpunches that I think reflect well Yurio’s skating.

I figure in this scenario Yuriowould be a very talented bender, specializing in close combat techniques. Icould even see him bending blue fire. Considering how self-control and restraint are important for firebending, I can see this being somethingYurio would have to learn and work on, as his bending would probably be fueledby mostly negative and rash emotions at first and be really explosive anddestructive. 

A firebending Yurio and afirebending Yuuri would work well to mirror their canon relationship. More thanjust the same name, they bend the same element just in very different ways which would annoy Yurio (he would probably challenge Yuuri to an agni kai).Yurio would secretly admire the way Yuuri could work fire so fluidly, almostlike a liquid. They both suffer from poor self-control which hinders theirbending, but for very different reasons, and they could help each other andlearn from each other.

Phichit - Airbender. Flexible, capable of going with the flow and finding the path of least resistance. Airbending is the most dynamic bending art and also almost purely defensive, which fits Phichit well. 

Leo - Airbender. Carefree, free spirited and creative personality, really easy going, would work well with air.

Guang Hong - Airbender, to complete the trio. 

Minami - Little firecracker firebender. Would really admire Yuuri’s more unique take on firebending but can’t quite replicate it.

Georgi - My first thought was waterbender, but water is the element of change and Georgi really doesn’t deal with that well. Based on his highly emotional and passionate skating and how lack of self-control damaged his performance, I would make him a firebender.

Chris - Waterbender. Adaptable, open-minded, patient and resourceful. Unlike Victor he wouldn’t use ice much, more focused on manipulating water in its liquid form. I can see him being a good healer. 

Mila - We’ve never seen her skating, so just going by personality I would say possibly waterbender.

Seung-gil - Earthbender. He is stubborn and unmoving like the earth. Very focused, opportunistic and solid skating, like earthbending needs to be. 

Michelle - Firebender. An offensive style focused on overwhelming the opponent, relying on a motivating force and a strong will. Despite his fiery temper at times and him being very passionate, I can actually see Michelle being a very controlled firebender who knows how to use his emotions to make the most of his element.  

Sara - We’ve never seen her skating, so going by personality, possibly earthbender. She endures, stands her ground and doesn’t run away from her problems, she instead blocks and counterattacks at the right moment. 

Emil - Airbender. He’s really relaxed, tolerant and non-confrontational, so he would fit the evasive and free nature of airbending.

JJ - Firebender. Passionate, impulsive, ambitious and driven by his desires. Has that “inner fire” quality. While firebending is a relatively simple and direct style, I can see JJ making grand complex spectacles of his bending.

Otabek - Earthbender. His skating feels very stable, solid and powerful, like earthbending. It’s also a type of bending that relies a lot on enduring, patience and waiting for the right moment to strike so it fits him well. I could see him eventually develop metalbending.

Avatar the Last Airbender AU This has nothing to do with Game of Thrones.  Sorry, but I liked the title anyway.

Rating: Teen And Up Audiences Warnings: Graphic Depictions Of Violence Relationships: Katsuki Yuuri/Victor Nikiforov WARNINGS: This fic includes topics of war, such as violence and prisoners of war who are sold into slavery. Summary:At the beginning of the Hundred Year War, Victor leads the attack on the Southern Air Temple and is promoted to General for the Fire Nation Army.  Years later, when he is captured by the Earth Kingdom, he falls hard and fast in more ways than one.

A lone tree stood at the edge of the courtyard, the bark covering its base singed to an ashy black.  Fallen in a nearly complete circle around the trunk lay another division of thirty or so Fire Soldiers, and just beneath the branches lay a lone air nomad, victorious but grounded, unmoving and burned bright red.  As Victor approached the scene, he could indeed distinguish the bright blue air master arrows coursing down the nomad’s arms and across his bare head.  He was still alive, the rise and fall of his chest the only movement remaining under the tree.

4. Do you respond to comments, why or why not? Of course! I’m a fairly small author, so every comment makes me really happy, and I want to thank the people who take the time to let me know that they enjoyed my stories :)

5. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending? Of my published fics, probably The Russian House. It’s not finished yet, but the whole thing is fairly angsty. 

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending? Most of my stories have happy endings! Which one is the “happiest” probably depends on who you are and what you like.

13. What’s your all-time favorite ship? lajfljsd I cannot pick a favorite anything to save my life. But some ships I like a whole bunch are Otayuri (yoi), Kurotsuki (hq), AranIwa (hq), Nicoyuki (rwtw), and ShinoTen (naruto).

14. What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will? I have these massive WIPs that have been languishing in my google drive, one for ShinoTen and one for YakuLev, and I really would like to finish them, but hoooo boy. I... don’t know if I will be able to. 

15. What are your writing strengths? I’ve been told my unique plots and AUs!

16. What are your writing weaknesses? Flow and pacing. 

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic? Depends on the context.

19. What’s your favorite fic you’ve written? Hilariously, almost nothing on my top 5 kudos’d list! Touch is probably the only one. Besides that, Taking the Plunge (hq, AranIwa), cross stitch (hq, Asahi & Noya), and Needlepoint (hq, Asahi/Kenma) are all pretty high up there. 

20. What’s your least favourite fic you’ve written? I think the one I’m least happy with is warm nights and glad hearts (kazetsuyo). I rushed it a little to get it out in time for a fan week, but it’s still pretty decent (in my very biased opinion). I’ll probably go back and try to edit it someday, but alas, I have other projects to work on.

I DESPERATELY want to know more about that yoi/atla crossover

It’s been a few years since I wrote it, but some memory:

Victor is the Fire Nation Prince

Yuri was “adopted” by the Fire Nation royals. He was born in a poor coastal village but he’s a prodigy firebender and was given an opportunity to be trained in the palace, so he’s kind of like a younger brother to Victor

Yuri also happens to the Avatar

Yuuri Katsuki is a waterbender. He’s captured by the Fire Nation and held in the Capital (like Hama)

Yuri accidentally waterbends one evening while he’s alone in his room and panics

Victor comes looking for Yuri, finds him mid-panic attack, and quickly realises what’s happened. He might be the prince, but he’s always had a shallow relationship with “duty.” Relationships/family on the other hand? Victor will always choose love first and foremost.

Meanwhile, Yuuri escapes from his prison

However, Yuuri doesn’t know the layout of the Capital and gets very lost - and happens to bump into Victor and Yuri, who are trying to run away

Victor and Yuri “force” Yuuri to come with them, though it’s in everyone’s best interest that they work together. 

Victor and Yuri leave the Fire Nation for the first time, realise how fucked up the war is, and they all end up working together. Victor helps Yuri with his firebending, and Yuuri teaches him waterbending.

Some other details:

They go to the underground earthbending tournament to find Yuri a teacher.  Yuri keeps seeing posters of a famous earthbender and is CERTAIN that this guy is going to be his master - only that famous earthbender turns out to be JJ

In the end, Otabek is his earthbending teacher

Phichit is his airbending master! I don’t think airbenders were massacred in this AU? Simply for Convenience(TM)

Also: Yuuri doesn’t know Victor is the prince. There’s drama later on because of that.

3. - favorite line/scene you wrote this year: This is the opening line to one of my secret santa fics and I'm very proud. "At least there were two beds."

25. - a fic you read this year you would recommend everyone read: OK, I think I've got to recommend on your marks, get set, bake!, which is a modern AU, so doesn't really require knowledge of the fandom (since I'm reading and writing in several fandoms these days) and everyone probably draws on most of those fandoms, and also because it is just the warmest fuzziest feeling fic.

and 30. - favorite fandom to read fic from this year: If we go by fandoms I read the MOST it's either ATLA or MDZS. I don't know, I love all my fandoms equally. I'm bisexual, don't ask me to choose. I read a couple really good GO fics too and reread several favorite YOI fics. They're all my favorites.
