I've done it all - attended Alcoholics Anonymous twice a day, five days a week. Memorized the fourth edition of the "Big Book" from cover to cover. Admitted myself into two different rehabs, staying 60 days each time.

What has ultimately kept me sober from drinking is confiding in my therapist and taking a combination of Acamprosate and Naltrexone twice a day to curb alcohol cravings.

I drank heavily for nearly two decades, and frankly have the experience and genetic predisposition to confirm that addiction is not a choice.

But sobriety and self-care are.

i cant find my herb vape

i went outside for less than an hour and now i feel like shit.

ive prepared a vile mixture since they wont buy me electrolyte drinks

i put some wine in it to mask the taste of salt and baking powder

i will have to get up to drink this

i got up

i hope i will be able to keep this down god

i lit some candles

i took a sip

the aftertaste

i had a tasty treat to prepare for the rest

i chugged it i guess i didnt mix it proprely because i was hit with this terrible wet powder

i feel better already

ive added some water to the remains

this looks disgusting

i drank it and gagged

i survived

I'm just saying.

If someone has to struggle through every minute of their life, already tried every coping mechanism, medication, and professionals available to them, and the only thing thing that relieves up to 80% (I would even take 10%) of the agony they experience on a day to day basis, and improve their quality of life, and for some people is even cheaper than the total cost of seeing professions and being on medication, and can be easily accessible, and the only thing you have to have is a triple espresso and you're good for the day, then respectfully, I don't care about your opinion.

I hope this reaches the people who understand what I'm talking about, and know that they're not alone.

Trapped in these dark asylums,

Without a heart to fight with.

My only friends in the world were the shadows crying,

Saying, 'Just let go Dantès, join us dying'.

Alone with Lilith in the darkness,

A lustful tempest siren,

Her soft hands upon me as she's gently sighing,

Saying, 'Don't fear the fall, come join me flying,

I'll give you everything that she's been denying,

Just stay with me forever and I'll show you Zion'

"Craven boy who's Sorrow Laden!

Beset by dreams more gravely graven,

Than all of sorrow's souls both lost or taken.
