RWRB Thoughts: Height Difference
Today on Meraki's rwrb thoughts because this movie and book are implanted in my brain now, we're talking about the movie size difference
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Don't get me wrong, book height firstprince is adorable, but there's just something about the movie height difference that just feels so special.
The thing is, the height difference between movie firstprince, or in other words Taylor and Nick's height difference isn't that big (ok I tried to search online for the precise number but there are a bunch of different fucking answers in different units but my point still stands you can see it)
But somehow, it's so prominent when you put them two together, especially when they're holding each other.
And think about it from Henry's perspective: Henry's not small. He's taller than both his siblings and his best friend Percy. he's about the exact same height as Shaan and as much as I know they care deeply about each other, at the end of the day, that's his equerry, his employee. His grandfather is taller than him, but that's the King, so that comes with this sense of authority and intimidation. So in most cases, he's the taller one, the bigger one. The one that has to be the support, the one that has to stand on his own. (so essentially my "oldest daughter/sister" rant but when it comes to height)
But when with Alex, suddenly he's the smaller one. To the man who would fight the whole world to protect him, to make him happy, the man who he loves and who loves him more than anyone in the world. Look at how Alex holds Henry: he curls around him, almost like a shield.
"You don't need your armour anymore, I'll be here to protect you and your heart from now on."
Actually, it's not just Henry, to a less emotionally intense extent, it's Nick too: In M&G, when it comes to the guys George/Nick has physically intimate scenes with: Tony (King James) is shorter than him, Dylan (Peter Carr) is shorter than him, Laurie (Robert Carr) is about the same height, the various other men we see in montages later in the show, all shorter. He's also taller than all the girls he's played opposite of, including Anne.
If I'm correct, up till now, Taylor is Nick's only on-screen partner that's taller than him. And that affects the physical intimacy, like where hands go and how the boys are positioned. Personally, I call it a "lead/follow" pair (like in partnered dances) or a "protector/protected" pair.
(Also please note that I know that this is kind of stereotyping, people don't always follow this fixed dynamic, and these labels only apply when they do follow a fixed dynamic. And I'm also just referring to the physical dynamic, not the actual relationship dynamic)
It's something new for him: for the entirety of his career, he was the bigger one in whatever relationship he was in: the big spoon, the one who lifts his partner, the one who's holding the other's waist; the "lead/protector". So what was it like for him to be the "follow"/"protected" for once?

The Evans getting turned on by you.
notes : hiya i’m starting a series where it would be how the Evans (Evan, Tate, Kit, Franken Kyle, Frat boy Kyle, Jimmy, James and Kai) would react to you doing something and requests would be greatly appreciated, thank you!! xxx
here’s a little preview, xxx
Evan Peters :
- wearing his clothes really turn him on ( but he would definitely rather you naked ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° ) )
- preferably his shirts or hoodies, it would look very baggy and long on you and Evan would find that hot.
- he thinks you wearing his clothes is like a marking that your his
- you would walk out of the shower, his shirt draping over your small frame
- Evan would see you and dramatically gasp and act like he fainted then running over to you like a little kid
- “ you look wonderful in my clothes, you should wear them more often “ he said in a low grunt then he unexpectedly picked you up and put you over his shoulder. Making you shriek, surprising you with the swift move. After carefully laying you down, he would smother you in kisses.
- it would either end up with cuddles or a steamy, segssy time
Tate Langdon :
- seeing you choke on his cock pushes him off the edge
- he loves deep-throating and fucking your mouth
- likes to see you go all the to the base of his dick and gagging on it
- “ Come on y/n, you can fit it all the way you’ve done it before “ he says encouraging you to take him whole. You opened up your throat pushing the rest of his cock into your mouth, closing your mouth around it and hollowing out your cheeks. Tate would throw back his head in pleasure, accidentally pulling your hair in the process. After a few more thrust into your mouth, he would release his load into your mouth. “ Good girl, and now good girls get rewarded. “
- he would then continue to pleasure you as a exchange for sucking him off
Kit Walker :
- he thinks you look hot being angry ( like literally when your on fire, he’ll think your hot. get the pun? ok i’ll stop )
- he would cut you off in the middle of your rant or argument and just kiss you to make you shut up. Making you so confused but going along with it.
- “ My boss made me do another shift tomorrow even though I specifically told him I was busy the next day! ” you shouted out of frustration, putting both your hands onto your temples. Massaging them so you wouldn’t get a migraine. “ Well did ya tell em again that you’re not available the following day? ” “ Yes, yes I did Kit! But that bastard ignored it.” you replied, kicking the pillow in front of you. You kept going on about how your boss was an ass, until Kit couldn’t take it anymore. He crashed his lips on to yours, making you stop talking. “ Thought ya take the hint when my eyes was going all over you “ he muttered in a deep voice while making love bites on your neck. “ Let’s take this to the room, yea doll? ”
- would only want to pleasure you so that your mind could take time off after being angry
Frat boy Kyle Spencer :
- he loves to see you dress up sexy
- roaming his hands over your body
- shooting you with compliments left and right
- would want to just ditch the event you were getting ready for
- walking out of the your room, you asked Kyle to open his eyes then giving him a twirl. He would look absolutely star struck, eyeing your black silk dress exposing a bit of your breast. His hands roaming all over your frame, he leaned into kiss you but you backed away knowing his trick. “ Nonono, I know what you’re tryna do, one kiss and we’re not leaving hmph? ” “ Maybe let’s just skipped this one, please babe. “ he pleaded but you shook your head “ Nope I spent way too long getting ready for it to go to waste, c’mon let’s go .” you walked away from his grip, hearing him groan.
- he would make a fuss out of it and try to leave the party early
Franken Kyle Spencer :
- he doesn’t really understand what getting turned on is
- but he loves your love bites and bobbies
- he would then get hard but he wouldn’t know why so you’ll help him take care of it
- you were helping Kyle bathe and he would beg you to come in with him. Mostly because he feels shy being naked under your gaze, so if you don’t shower with him. He’ll just pull you in so that now you’ll be wet and mind as well take a shower. But it’ll turn south because it would just end up with you two making out in the bathroom. “ Suc-ck n-neck ” he’ll say so you'd give give him hickies and you would do as told. He plays with your breast while you’re sucking on his neck, kneading them like dough and pinching your hard nipples.
- you would also just end up having shower sex because Kyle would be too impatient
Jimmy Darling :
- dirty talk is his thang
- you in silk lingerie would make in make him do flips
- you moaning while his fingering you
- honestly just combine all of the above and he would drop dead
- you would notice Jimmy being tense up the whole day due his new act that he is going to perform tonight. So you decided to give him a little treat in the caravan at the end of the day. 12.33 am, Jimmy would be coming back soon so you slipped on his favourite lingerie set. Then you’d lay in a sexy position on his bed, waiting for him to walk in. “ Hey darling I’m bac- woah ” his eyes opening wide, definitely not expecting this. “ Like what you see? ” walking up to him and palming him while whispering into his ear. “ Let me take care of you tonight alright? ” you said while kneeling down
- he would definitely give you aftercare
James Patrick March :
- lovessss to see you beg and call him zaddy
- would purposely do something out of your favour just to see you beg
- while having sex you’ll have to call him daddy or you would get punished ( sometimes you would intentionally disobey him so he could punish you, which is usually spanking. )
- “ Do you want me inside of you my dearest? ” he said, teasing you. You nodded hungry for attention at your cunt. “ Use you pretty mouth dear, come on, beg for it .” “ Daddy please enter me, I really need you to make me come. ” “ Good girl y/n ” James praises
- you usually are exhausted after sex, so James would clean you up and tuck you into bed.
- Giving you a goodnight kiss on the forehead
Kai Anderson :
- he likes it when you sit on his lap
- you would see him working very hard for his cult that day and would want to distract him a bit ( but would deeply regret it after )
- when he is working, you asked if you could on his lap and he would let you but you couldn’t distract him too much.
- testing the waters, you moved around trying to grind him but just said you’re trying to get comfortable.
- you knows he enjoys it but he also had a lot of work to complete
- you could feel him getting hard underneath, so you would full-on grind him until he got mad and carries you into the bedroom.
- he then violently throws you on to the bed and makes sure you learned your lesson to never do it again.
Peter Maximoff :
- he likes you riding his dick
- would absolutely die if you praised him
- when you ride his cock he always stares at your tits going up and down
- " yes y/n just like that " peter moaned while you bounced up and down. " Fuck maximoff, your cock is hitting all the right places " you whimpered, tugging on his soft sliver hair. His ears tingling after hearing you praise him.
- would swallow all of your cum that has spilled out.
god i’m so sorry if this was absolute ass i kinda struggled writing this :’)

Let's talk about Jessica Drew - Character Analyzation/Rant (People don't like powerful women)
Tumblr media
LOOK AT HER.
This magnificent woman sports a luscious afro while wearing 80s style clothing. Afros and natural hair in general are symbols of African American pride and embracing your African heritage. Her clothing style is very similar to the clothing style and fashion that African American women wore in the 80s.
Tumblr media
I couldn't find a better picture, but do you see my vision? Also they are serving 🤩
She oozes culture and black power. She's a pregnant, yet badass black woman who drives a motorcycle and is proud of her heritage. Yet people dislike her. Why?
Because she's an aggressive, no-nonsense, black female character
One of the reasons people dislike Jessica Drew is because we see her reprimanding Gwen for visiting Miles, and telling her that she can't see him again. However, controversially, I think Jess was right about this. Gwen disobeyed direct orders and let her heart get in front of her head. She ignored her mission and the result of that was Spot's escape and a possibility of interdimensional unraveling. Jess had all the right to reprimand Gwen for this, because in her perspective, Gwen messed up. But even though Gwen messed up, Jess was still willing to give her another chance. She agreed not to tell Miguel, because she knew Gwen would be sent home, proving that she still had Gwen's best interests at heart and didn't want Gwen to have to go back to deal with her dad and the possibility of being arrested.
The second reason people dislike her is because she allowed Gwen to be sent back to her universe. However, people are completely forgetting the fact that she wasn't the person sending Gwen back to Earth-65. Miguel was. Jess did her best to protect Gwen, and gave Gwen numerous chances, but in the end, Gwen failed her mission and disobeyed orders, causing her to be sent home. This is not Jess's fault. People are also ignoring the fact that Peter B. Parker, a man that knew Gwen way before Jess did absolutely nothing to save Gwen from Miguel's rage. What did he do instead? He stood there and made jokes. Instead of actually addressing the situation and a girl who considered him her friend, he decided to crack a joke. Not even a funny joke. But people are blaming Jess for this. Why?
Because people don't like seeing strong, aggressive female characters. Jessica oozes confidence. She's confident in her heritage, she's confident in her capabilities and she's confident in herself. Her tone is sharp, she doesn't mess around and she doesn't put up with people's bullshit. Ex. her telling Peter B to "stop talking" and her telling Hobie he's "not helping". People don't like seeing aggressive black female leads, because it makes them uncomfortable. People are quick to label a woman who's aggressive as "harsh" and "argumentative" but proceed to label Miguel, the person who sent a homeless teenager back to her dimension, as someone who's "doing what he has to". I'm not saying Miguel is a bad person. I'm saying Jessica isn't a bad person.
Jess is also most definitely going to get a character development arc considering how she was obviously doubting her loyalty to Miguel in the last 30ish minutes of the movie right after Gwen was sent-home and during Gwen's speech with Miles' parents when Jess was listening.
Jess Drew was slightly harsh on Gwen, and didn't object to her being sent back to her dimension. Was this wrong of her? Yes. But does that make her a bad person? No. People are misinterpreting her character. She is not a bad person and she does not deserve the hate people are spewing against her. She is a strong black female character and we need more people like her in the media to look up to.
BTW, I'm not black but I tried to be as accurate in my description of how Jess embraces her heritage as I could, so if you see any inaccuracies or have any comments, please correct me <3

SPOILERS for Across the Spiderverse, ganna rant about Gwen’s character and the unnecessary hate she gets. 💀
After finally seeing Spiderverse, yeah…I don’t trust Gwen haters. Like holy shit, I have seen SO many people get on her ass. And I get it. She lied to Miles, she let him down, she screwed up. I think what just ticks me off is that people today just love making everything so fucking black and white. This film isn’t one note, it’s complex. You feel for BOTH sides, not just Miles. I never thought some people would need to have it spelled out but….Miles wasn’t the only character going through something. Gwen does too, and this film explores that, like it legit makes me wonder if people just…turned their brains off whenever the film focused on her, which was legit most of the first half.
Not only was she still carrying the weight of her friend’s death while also feeling guilt of leaving him, but her own father is a cop who is out to get spider woman, believing that she is a criminal who let Peter die. It isn’t easy on Gwen, the opening scene of her trying to get lost in playing the drums and shutting down her band mates shows that she wants to avoid her feelings. Miles was the ONLY friend she had, she didn’t make any other close friends other than Peter. She felt alone, she felt trapped, and once her identity was revealed to her father, the moment he tries to arrest her is her breaking point, it’s why she joined Miguel and the others. She had nowhere to go, she felt like she couldn’t go back and was utterly alone until the spider crew accepted her.
When it comes to Gwen and some of the other characters, some of y’all need to see their perspective. They all lost someone they loved, someone they cared about, and Miguel comes to them and tells them that their trauma happened for a reason. It made them stronger, it made them move forward and created who they are today. They all felt alone at one point, only to realize that they weren’t. They also know that you can’t save everyone, and wether Miguel’s point of view is morally corrupt or not, everyone felt they were doing what was right.
In Gwen’s case, she WANTED to see Miles, and she DID see Miles. She wanted to hang out with him so badly but couldn’t, and you eventually see her guilt for not telling Miles the full story, how he wasn’t supposed to be here, how his dad is going to die and he can’t do anything about it. She felt like she had no choice, Jessica was strict on her (for good reason) and Gwen knew she had a job to do, she like everyone else wanted to save the multiverse and protect everyone, even if it meant breaking Miles, and his dad’s death. I don’t want to make it sound like I’m excusing Gwen, but I find it so funny that people beg for complex and flawed characters, and then when we actually get them, they’re targeted for making mistakes. Cause yeah, god forbid a teenage girl feels alone, doesn’t know what to do, and makes a mistake.
And what’s even more insulting is that Gwen actually REALIZED her mistake. She knows she fucked up, she KNOWS she hurt Miles and let him down, her line of “we’re supposed to be the good guys”- is important because that’s her realizing just how far Miguel took it to a bad level. We all see how utterly broken she is when Miles tells her he should have never come, and broke her web off. In the end, she switches sides and decides to GO AFTER Miles. That’s her making a choice, realizing she was wrong and doing the right thing. Gwen is still a good person guys. She cares for Miles, she’s not a snake or malicious. She’s a troubled teen who wants to be a hero, but was split between two sides, along with the weight on her back regarding her father and her friend. This movie begs the question of saving one person or making sacrifices to safe others. You understand BOTH sides even if Miguel went about it the wrong way.
Speaking of Miguel, the last thing I want to talk about is the obvious sexism going on, cause I feel like that mostly stems from why so many people hate Gwen, cause MAN do people lose brain cells when they’re horny. Like…let me get this straight, y’all get on Gwen, a teenage girl btw….call her a bitch, a snake who doesn’t deserve Miles and a horrible person, but praise a grown man who ridiculed, chased down, clawed, and body slammed a 15 year old kid, calling him a mistake over and over again all because he wanted to save his father???? Yeah okay, if you’re someone who doesn’t like Gwen, fine…but if you hate on her and praise Miguel, a dude who needs therapy and beefed with a 15 year old……then you’re just sexist…I don’t know what to tell you. Same goes for Jessica Drew. Like so many people are quick to say Miguel is complex and that they get where he’s coming from, but when it’s Gwen or Jessica?? They’re just bitches apparently. 🫤
So yeah, regardless of if you like her character or not, Gwen deserves better fr. I for one can’t wait for the next film and to see her mend her relationship with Miles, because they do genuinely have a good relationship, they just need to fix it. That’s all I wanted to say…oh, and one more thing, the way the animators on the movie got treated was NOT okay and the film better be delayed. No way in hell is it coming out next year. Do better Sony/Phil Lord ect, treat your animators right. Kay bye.

A Life with Peter Parker
Tumblr media
Anonymous asked: basically yn and peter are married like after nwh bc yn didnt forget peter peter and yn are in their twenties and yn is pregnant with a peters baby boy and after he's born, they considering having another child and they have a girl tysm :)
Hi anon! Hope you enjoy :) Thank you for sending this in! It was fun to write!
Peter Parker x Reader [Established Relationship/Fluff] Warnings: Cursing, pregnancy, reader giving birth Word Count: 2k
-
When the world forgot Peter Parker, you were so lucky you didn’t. At first, neither of you knew why you hadn’t forgotten him. Both of you tried to find out every magical way you didn’t forget about Peter Parker, and there was nothing.
There was absolutely zero magical reason as to why you were the only one not affected by the spell.
But after a month, you slowly started to feel sick. You pushed it off as some kind of weak virus, but it continued, and persisted into another few weeks. Then you noticed that you started to gain weight.
You didn’t tell Peter, your boyfriend, at the time, of your suspicion. It could break him if you told him, you thought you were pregnant and then turned out that you weren’t. If you were pregnant… a rush of joy sparked through your body, it would be amazing news.
After losing nearly everyone, Peter felt like he had no family left, but this baby would be his family, you would become his family.
You bought seven different pregnancy tests and took them back to the home you shared with Peter. You made sure he wasn’t at home when you took the tests, because you didn’t want to get his hopes up for possibly nothing.
After the first three, you were beaming with happiness. They all said you were pregnant! And after the next four, you concluded that you were definitely pregnant, and it was time to tell Peter and set up an appointment with your doctor to make sure everything was okay with the baby.
When he came back home, you were hiding all seven pregnancy tests behind your test with a bright smile.
“Hey sweetie, what’s going on?” He asked, leaning in, and kissing your forehead gently.
“I think I know why I didn’t forget you after the spell.” You replied nervously, but inside you felt an overwhelming amount of happiness and joy. This would be great for you two!
“Wait, really? Why?” His curiosity got the best of him as he stared at you excited to know.
“I’m… pregnant!” You cheered, pulling the pregnancy tests from behind your back and handing them to Peter.
He stayed silent for a while, almost three whole minutes and you continued to feel even more anxious as time went on. Then he looked up at you with this awe in his eyes, the type of awe that made you smile and relax.
“Baby? Really? Oh my god, this is really happening.” He murmured, eyes starting to tear up. “This is the best thing to ever happen.” He continued, and dropped all of the pregnancy tests to the ground as he rushed over to you and swept you up into his arms.
“We’re having a baby! A baby! This is amazing, it’s a baby! That solves it too, it makes sense! The baby can’t forget who I am because of the DNA – oh wow, this changes a lot of things in science, wait, and that’s the reason why you didn’t forget, it’s because half the baby is basically from me, and the spell can’t take away a life – oh my god, this is incredible!” He ranted happily, crying out of joyfulness.
You started to cry with him too, feeling amazed that he was responding and reacting this way. It was the best way he could have reacted, it was awesome.
“I love you so much, Peter.” You whispered into his ear as he twirled you around, holding you up from the ground. He grinned wider than before as he responded with, “I love you and I love our baby too.”
“This is perfect timing, too, you know?” He spoke up after a moment of hugging. You squeezed him back harder.
“Why?” You asked softly, pulling away to look at him.
“I was going to propose to you tonight. All fancy with the fairy lights on our balcony, swing up Spiderman style and ask you, ‘Will you marry me?’”  He dragged something out of his pocket, as you stared at him with shock.
“No fucking way.” You snorted, instantly denying that he would have done that. You had a feeling he was going to propose soon – but not tonight!
“Yes freaking way, also no curse words in front of our baby, I don’t want him hearing that.”
“Awe, sweetie, him? You think it’s a boy?” You practically started to tear up again to the point that Peter wiped a finger under your eye and leaned in again to kiss your cheek.
While he kissed your cheek, he pushed something into your hands. You pulled away to look down at it, and you could feel your heart start to race as you realized what it was and that he wasn’t lying to you. There was the box and the ring.
The ring was gorgeous, it was exactly what you wanted for an engagement ring, and it made you cry even more.
“Pete, baby, this is perfect…” You whispered with admiration. He smiled at you brightly, “Really? I thought a lot about it and did some research.” He admitted, making you laugh out of surprise.
“You’re amazing.” You responded, moving closer to him to kiss his lips. He kissed you back gently with a slight teasing smile as he pulled back before you could kiss him again.
“So, is that a yes?”
“Of course, it is.”
-
The wedding was intimate but perfect. Only a few of your closest friends and family showed up, and you two stayed quiet about it after it was done. Your family wasn’t too happy to know it was a stranger that you were marrying, but they got to know Peter again after a few months.
You two left out the fact that he is Spiderman. They couldn’t know or else they’d get in trouble one day. You couldn’t risk it. It was already a huge risk that you knew he was Spiderman, but then again, you were the only one who knew.
After you gave birth to a healthy beautiful boy, you two decided to name him after his best friend, Ned. Peter still didn’t feel right about going up to his old best friend and telling him the truth, but he felt like he was giving him some honor by naming his child after him.
Ned was one of the most forgiving and best friends he could ever have. He missed him dearly but kept himself away from him to protect him.
“Baby, did you warm up a bottle?” Your voice rang through, and Peter shook his head, clearing his thoughts of the past.
Peter grabbed the bottle and walked over to the couch, where you and Ned were laying down. Ned was hungry, needing some more food and you were tired of feeding him earlier. You handed Ned off to Peter, who carried him on the side of his hip.
“Aw, look at my baby boy. You hungry? I got you some food. Mommy’s going to rest now.” Peter spoke in baby talk, causing you to tiredly chuckle.
“He’s the best thing in the world. I love him, but he is so exhausting.” You sighed, yawning as you stretched out from your position on the couch and sat in the corner, to make some room for Peter. He sat down next to you, kissing your lips momentarily.
“…Can I say something crazy right now?” Peter brought it up hesitantly. You gazed at him, confused but nodded a yes.
“I want another.” Peter set out, anxiously playing with his hands. You blinked at him and let out a small, “Huh?”
You were confused, you didn’t know what he meant by that. “You mean, you want another pizza? We can order more.” You pointed to the box sitting on the coffee table in front of you. Peter shook his head, a small smile forming on his face as he gazed at you fondly.
“I want another kid with you.” He repeated, clearer this time and more confidently.
Your eyebrows shot up as you gasped, “What? Really?” And then a laugh tumbled out of your mouth as you said, “Me too.”
Peter stared at you in silent shock for a few moments before letting out, “What did you say?”
“I said, me too. I want another kid too, honey.” You replied with a small laugh. Then the two of you both started laughing together, even baby Ned started to giggle a little bit.
Peter sighed, “Woah, I didn’t expect that. I thought you were going to call me crazy.”
You glanced over at him with a smile, “I could tell. You looked so nervous, but I do want to have another kid with you. Little Ned is great, but I feel like having one more would make things feel complete.”
“Me too, that’s how I feel too.”
-
Your second time with pregnancy was much easier since you expected it to happen. You prepared yourself the best you could, and so did Peter. He started to do a lot of chores, taking on practically all of the housework while you started to develop more.
You read all of the pregnancy books, and what to expect, which you already knew most of because of baby Ned. Peter read them too, finding them interesting and he even started to give advice out as Spiderman, telling couples with babies to make sure to burp them or to check on their fingers to see if they got hair twisted on it.
It was adorable because people started to make edits of him saying those sorts of thing and calling him Spiderdad. You even started calling him Spiderdad to tease him, but he secretly loved it.
By your last month of pregnancy, you were barely able to walk around without feeling some sort of pain in your back. Peter watched a few tutorial videos of how to relieve the pain for you, and he would walk over to you and lift your stomach slightly, to give you relief from the pressure of the baby on your bladder and back.
“Oh, thank you so much, that feels so much better.” You groaned, leaning your head forward to rest on his shoulder.
“Of course, sweetie, let me know if you want me to do it again.” He responded, kissing your head gently.
When you were giving birth, Peter stood by the entire time, holding your hand, and encouraging you. He didn’t want to look because he was afraid that he would pass out, so he stayed next to you, gripping your hand tight and murmuring sweet words.
“You’ve got this, honey. I know you do. You’re so strong for our baby.” He said, and you made a big push, grunting and a scream flew out of you. The nurses around you started to encourage you even more, telling you to push again.
A few more pushes had caused a lot more screams to come from you, and you squeezed Peter’s hand as tightly as you could, causing him to moan in pain.
“Come on, push, one more time!” A nurse shouted and finally, you pushed hard, and the baby started to come out. Peter felt faint, but he stood his ground, holding your hand tightly back.
“There you go! It’s a girl!” One of the doctors spoke up, pulling the baby out. You groaned slowly, head turning to try to see the baby, and he handed her to you.
You gripped her softly, and the heavy sweat on your face made you feel even more tired as you looked at her for the first time.
“Oh, precious…” You whispered, then gazed over at Peter, who was staring at the two of you with awe in his eyes.
“I love you too, so much.” He whispered, finally sitting down in the seat next to you. His hand laid on the baby’s back while you held her with one arm.
You leaned your head up to kiss her forehead, and a tear escaped your eyes, “I love you both too.” You responded.

Question...?
Sirius Black x fem!reader
word count: 5.9k
summary: it’s been six months since Sirius left her in the middle of the night and now he can’t remember who he was before she painted all his nights a colour he has been searching for since
warnings: alcohol and eating mentions, light swearing
Tumblr media
The bar was crowded and loud, but Sirius didn’t mind. He was glad to have a change of scene, something different than a night in his silent apartment and with the never-ending whirlwind of thoughts banging against his skull.
When James had texted him night out tonight. you coming? this morning at work he had immediately accepted and counted down the hours until he could leave that horrid office and celebrate the survival of another week. At home, he had changed outfits and eaten a quick dinner with what was left in his fridge and now he was sitting next to Peter, happily nursing a pint of beer in his hands.
While James was ranting about this football season—“I’m telling you, there’s no way they’ll win. Have you seen them play?”—and Peter and Remus were pretending to listen, Sirius watched the bubbles in his beer float up to the surface. He’d heard the same speech from James hundreds of times before and maybe normally he’d have something to contribute or just a joke to make about James’ enthusiasm, but tonight was different. It felt as if he was waiting for something to happen. A strange sense of anticipation filled his veins.
“You’re not even listening, mate,” James said, snapping his finger in front of Sirius’ face.
Sirius looked up. “Sure I am. You were telling how much you like seeing men run after balls.”
Peter snorted into his beer and James shot him a dirty look, before turning back to Sirius. “You tell something, then.” He leaned back in his seat and crossed his arms. “Since you are so interesting.”
“True,” Sirius said. But he shrugged. “I am, but life not so much lately.”
“What about that girl you were seeing? Emma?” Remus asked.
James shook his head. “No, Emily.”
“Elina?” Peter tried.
“Elise?” James offered. “Eleanor? Eva?”
“You’re just listing names now,” Sirius said, frowning. “It’s Emilia.”
James shrugged. “Close enough.”
Sirius rolled his eyes and gave a one-shouldered shrug. “Eh… it’s there, but that’s all it has going for it.”
“Why?” Remus asked, pricking through Sirius’ nonchalance. “I thought she was nice enough. What’s wrong?”
“Nothing’s wrong. It just… I don’t know.”
James looked at Sirius over his pint. The overhead lights reflected in his glasses. “I think you do know.”
The sound of the bar seemed to quiet a little, as if someone turned down the volume on a radio. The lights dimmed and for a second the world stood still, but then Sirius shook his head, flexed his fingers, and glared at James. “Fuck off.”
“Ooh, did I strike a nerve?”
Sirius wished he could cross the table and wipe the hideous smirk of James’ face without causing a scene, but instead he had to settle for kicking his shin under the table and smiling victoriously as James cried out in pain.
Peter took a big drink to hide his chuckle and Remus looked at Sirius. “So you’re breaking it off?”
“Hm, I don’t really know. It’s not great, but better than nothing, I suppose.”
“Wow, romantic. Did you tell her that?”
“She’s not looking for an official thing either, so why bother with the romantic stuff?” He took his glass in his hand, giving Remus one last look. “I don’t want to go back to one-nights again.”
Fortunately Remus dropped the subject. Unfortunately it meant that James could launch into his football antics again.
Half an hour passed and then an hour. James finally shut up, new beers were ordered, Remus spoke about his dad, Peter cried with laughter when he tried to recall what had happened to him in the store the other day. Sirius sat through it all like usual, but his mind was somewhere else. He drank his beer, wished Remus’ dad would get better soon, laughed along with Peter, but he was lost in thought, his mind treading outside the bar.
Until they said her name.
The tension of anticipation that had been building in Sirius snapped. Immediately his entire body grew rigid and his heartbeat quickened. “What?”
“That’s her there, isn’t it?”
Peter nodded towards the bar and when Sirius followed his gaze, his heart stopped. There was a faint whistle in his ears like he would go down. He sunk lower in his seat, hands clasped around his glass.
“Smooth,” James laughed.
“Shut up,” Sirius muttered.
He could recognise her anywhere, but more often than not it was just in his dreams or memories that he saw her. Now she was really here. Her shining hair he wanted to run his fingers through, the old cardigan she’d stolen from her mother’s closet, the run-down trainers she refused to throw out. Everything about her was so familiar, so known, and yet she could not have been more far away.
His favourite hands in the world skilfully held onto three pints the barman gave her and he could hear the melody of her bright voice floating through the space as she turned back to join the two people waiting for her. Sirius recognised them as Marlene and Dorcas, the couple he’d been rather fond of back then.
He watched her until she sat down, her back to him. She tucked her hair behind her ear and raised her glass to make a toast, and at that moment Dorcas looked up and made direct eye-contact with Sirius, who was too shocked to look away. She winked at him and leaned forward over her table conspiringly. No sooner than she had opened her mouth two more heads looked around, but this time Sirius quickly averted his gaze and focused on James’ stupid smile instead. He wanted to see her face, but knew he couldn’t bear seeing her dislike.
“So,” James said. “You saw her?”
Remus nudged him not all too gently. He looked at Sirius. “Will you talk to her?”
‘No,” he immediately said.
“Why?”
“I can’t… I wouldn’t even know what to say.”
Peter shrugged. “‘Hello’ usually works for me.”
“She probably doesn’t want to see me anyway,” Sirius said, hiding his face behind his glass.
James placed both hands palm-down on the table and looked at Sirius expectantly. Three beers in and there was a pink blush on his cheeks. “So you’ve been saying all this time, but I’d like to know why.”
“You never told us,” Peter chimed in.
“There’s nothing to tell.”
James laughed. “Your reaction to seeing her suggests differently.”
Sirius rolled his eyes and his gaze flickered back to her table. She’d turned back, talking and laughing with her friends, and Sirius wished he could close his eyes and pick out her voice from the cacophony of the people in the bar, but the music was too loud and the group behind him talked too much.
“It’s none of your business,” he grumbled to James instead.
“Ah, humour me, mate.” James leaned over the table. “We’ve been here for an hour and a half and so far the only funny thing that happened was Peter nearly choking on laughter—”
“Hey!”
“—and whatever is happening with you now. Remus could use some cheering up, so quit being a shitty friend and tell us what happened.”
Sirius looked at Remus. “Playing the pity card?”
He shrugged. “James’ words not mine. But he’s not wrong.” His brown eyes bore into Sirius. “I don’t know what happened with her, but you’re clearly not over it. Maybe telling us about it will help.”
Sirius looked at his friends’ faces. James with a big grin, Remus full of pity, and Peter’s attempt at a comforting smile. He looked at them and then glanced at her back. He sighed.
It had been six months, but Remus was right. He wasn’t over her. But he did not think talking about her would solve that. Nothing would ever come close to what he’d had with her. They had been something else, because he couldn’t remember who he was before she’d painted all his nights a colour he’d been looking for since. He would never get over her.
“I hate you,” he said, taking his glass and downing the last of his beer. “Get me another and I’ll tell you.”
- - - o - - -
Sirius was trying really hard not to stare at her, but he knew he was doing a miserable job. One, because he’d seen her glance at him and smile multiple times; two, because James leaned into him and said, “You’re staring.”
Sirius tore his eyes from her and scowled at James. “Shut up.”
“Would you rather have me let you make a fool of yourself the entire night?”
“You’re confidence in me never fails to astound me,” Sirius said dryly and he pushed James away.
“Fine, fine. Go ahead and be a lovesick fool.” James chuckled. “But I won’t lie; it suits you.”
Sirius felt his cheeks heat and he stabbed his fork in a piece of cucumber on his plate. James laughed but left him to it.
When Lily had invited him for her birthday dinner, he had hoped she’d be there too, but hadn’t dared to ask. The entire bus ride to the restaurant he’d been nervous and jittery, much to the laughter of his friends. But he couldn’t help it; it was just something she did to him.
He had first met her two months ago at a housewarming party. She worked with Lily as a journalist at a small magazine in the city—she was Lily’s desk-wife, as this one always liked to say. Lily had started at the magazine two years ago and knew her since then, but James had only started dating Lily just less than a year ago so up until two months ago Sirius had never seen her.
But Lily had moved apartments, had invited a bunch of friends, and one of them had been her. From that night she hadn’t left Sirius’ mind. They had seen each other a few times since and each time Sirius’ crush grew to the point where he had no idea how to handle it. He had never felt anything like that before.
Sirius kept his gaze on his plate, but after a few minutes couldn’t stop himself from stealing another glance at her. She caught his gaze and smiled at him and he did not even try to bite back his grin. She sat across the table, listening to Lily’s story about the man she’d had to interview, adding bits when Lily turned to her with a question written in her eyes. It was wonderful to see her smile light up when someone laughed at her jokes, to see her hands move when she talked, her nose scrunch when someone told something weird.
By the time the dessert reached the table, the wine had been poured generously, the laughter was louder and warmer, cheeks were blazing, eyes gleaming. Outside it was dark, but in the restaurant candles burned and soft lights were pointed at the works of art on the walls.
Sirius had a caramel brownie. She the raspberry cheesecake. Her glass of rose was still half-full.
“That looks delicious,” she said and Sirius took a second to realise that she was talking to him.
“Yeah,” was his clever answer. Then he blinked and added, “You want to try it?”
Her eyes lit up and she leaned forward. “Can I?”
“Sure.” Sirius pricked a piece of the brownie on his fork and held it over the table for her.
With a wide smile she came closer and looked at him when she opened her mouth and closed her lips around his fork. He swallowed, trying to ignore the thumping of his heart. She shut her eyes and moaned softly and sat back.
He stared at the fork, the place where her lips had just been. Then he pulled back and watched her. Her mouth worked slowly and she slightly tipped her head back. Her wide smile came back when she opened her eyes.
“I was right,” she said, wiping the corners of her mouth with her napkin. “That is delicious.”
Sirius himself took a bite of the brownie and agreed. “And now yours.”
She laughed and shielded her plate with her hands. “Absolutely not. I’m not sharing my cheesecake with anyone.”
“You minx,” Sirius said and he gaped dramatically.
She threw her head back with laughter and Sirius took his chance. He reached forward and was just about to take his own bite when her hand wrapped around his wrist and she stopped him. Her eyes bore into his. There was a smirk on her lips.
“Nice try, darling.”
Sirius’ stomach summersaulted at her nickname but he kept his face straight. He pushed his fork lower, until the points sank into the top of the cheesecake, while keeping his eyes on her. He felt her hand tense as she tried to stop him.
“Keep trying,” he dared her.
His fork sank lower. Her eyes flicked down to it and back up to his face.
“Hm,” she softly hummed. “You’re strong.”
Then she bit her lip and Sirius knew he had lost. He sighed, lifted his hands in surrender, her fingers lingering before she let go. Her cheesecake remained untouched. She laughed, he blushed.
She put her fork in her cake and took a big bite, looking at Sirius while she put it in her mouth. She licked her lips, grinned widely, and to him it was sweeter than the two desserts combined. He watched her eat the cheesecake, having forgotten about his own dessert. She didn’t even bother pretend she didn’t notice he was watching her.
Her last bite she pricked on her fork and waved it around in the air. She smiled sweetly at Sirius. “Open up.”
“What?”
“Open your mouth.”
“Why?”
“You want a bite or not?”
Sirius blinked.
“You really thought I’d be so selfish?” She laughed, shaking her head. “You’re cute. Now, open up.”
Cheeks red, body flushed, he obliged. She rested the tip of the fork on his bottom lip, just out of reach. He knew he must look like the lovesick fool James made him out to be, the one he was, but he didn’t care. Then she moved the fork closer and let him take the bite. He kept his gaze on her hand, because he knew he couldn’t hide his feelings if he looked her in the eye now.
The flavour burst on his tongue, but he barely tasted it because all he could focus on was her laugh. She tilted her head to the side and asked him what he thought.
He thought he wanted to reach over the table and kiss her sweet lips. He said, “It’s good, yeah.”
Dessert was eaten, coffee and tea next, decaf for her or she wouldn’t sleep tonight she said. Flavoured chocolates were exchanged, cut in half to be shared, wrappers littered the white table cloth, reflecting the flickering of the candles. James complained that he had eaten too much. Lily said she was glad she’d taken the underground and not her car. A friend of Lily’s spoke with Sirius about their coffee preferences. Guests in the restaurant got up and left, the waiters came to clean the table and gave the bill. James paid, despite Lily’s objections.
The entire group moved from the table to the coat racks at the entrance. There was a bustling of people as coats and jackets were passed on from person to person, in search for its right owner. Someone ran back to the table because they’d forgotten their purse.
Sirius got her coat in his hands, noticed her, and helped her pull it on. His hands lingered on her shoulders. She thanked him and turned around.
“Any time, love,” he said.
She smiled. Maybe the wine, maybe the lights, maybe the fuzzy feeling in his belly when he looked at her, but something made him unable to look away from her. There was a glint of something in her eyes, but Sirius couldn’t pinpoint what.
Not until she stepped closer and pressed her lips to his.
He froze, his thoughts exploding. The whole room silenced or maybe Sirius just stopped listening.
She pulled back, a nervous smile on her lips. He was still frozen. His friends started to howl and laugh. He heard a “finally” and was sure James’ laugh was the loudest of them all.
But he didn’t care. Because she’d kissed him. And he kissed her back.
One hand on her cheek, the other pulling her closed by her waist. Her lips tasted like wine and coffee and raspberry. Her body was warm and soft and perfect in his hands. His body unravelled, yearned for more, for her, but he heard his friends changing from making fun of him to clapping and he got pulled back to reality.
He stopped, rested his forehead against hers. He looked into her eyes.
“I know,” she said, reading his thoughts before he’d even said anything.
He grinned. Kissed her again. He’d never been this happy before.
- - - o - - -
And for the next two months that feeling kept lingering, started to grow, burst to life. They went on dates that turned into nights that turned into days and weekends and then weeks. After work dinners extended to early mornings, learning the way around each other’s apartments to get ready for work again. There were late nights out, talking until the sun rose, lazy afternoons in the garden basking in the first rays of sun that spring.
Sirius didn’t know what was happening to him. He had liked her all those weeks before things began, yes, but what he felt now was something that he had never felt before. His life changed drastically when he suddenly found she was in his head with everything he did. He wanted to tell her about the old woman that smiled at him in a bakery, the eyes on the helmet of the kid that cycled by on the street, the lyrics he finally looked up after hearing it for three months, the new toothpaste he’d had to buy because they didn’t have his usual brand. He wanted her with him while he made toast for breakfast but got so caught up in his morning social media check that he’d burn it. When he didn’t know what to wear, he wanted to ask her opinion. He wanted to hear her voice and her laugh in his apartment all the time. He wanted her near every moment of the day.
He tried to play it cool at first, but there was no stopping his feelings from bursting. She was the light in his day. He needed her like a flower needed water and sun to thrive.
They were in the big city and they explored it all together. The places they had never been before, but also their familiar spots. Her favourite café, bookstore, flower shop. His cinema, pub, bakery. He showed her where he worked and the next day she came around with lunch. They went to restaurants and chose the weirdest dishes, got drunk on cheap wine, and shared desserts. Then they stumbled home with their arms around each other and fell asleep on the couch while watching lousy reality shows.
They were like a whirlwind, sudden and violent, sucking in everything around them, but amazingly wondrous. Within two months it was as if they had known each other for years already and their lives fit together like matching puzzle pieces.
But where he needed her, she was strong enough to stand on her own feet. She had control over her life in a way he could only look at with wonder. And after those two blissful months, the insecurities Sirius thought he’d shed when he met her started to seep in again.
If she was the good girl, he was the sad boy. The happy feeling of being with her overpowered his thoughts, but then he saw her laughing with someone, heard her talk over the phone, saw the things she wrote, and he felt like someone was playing a dirty trick on him. It seemed impossible that someone like her would ever want to be with someone like him.
He buried those wicked thoughts, but they stacked atop each other day after day, a tower dangerously wobbling inside of him. But she was still there, with her smiles for him, her sweet words, her even sweeter lips. She woke next to him in the morning and that was enough to get him through the day.
Until it got harder.
It was the same pub as always, the one two streets from his place, but not his friends. Her friends, co-workers. Lily he knew, the others he’d seen once or twice, or never met at all. They spoke of things Sirius didn’t know about, drank French red wine, more than half of them wore blazers. He had his arm on the back of her chair, but it was more for him than for her. He needed her to keep him focused, to calm his nerves.
One of them said something about the prime minister. They all laughed. She faintly smiled.
“Where do you stand, in all of this?” they asked Sirius.
He froze, let out a dry breath. “Oh, I’m not sure.”
Someone came forth with an argument and they turned away from him. She placed her hand on his thigh, turned her head to him
“You alright?” she mouthed more than said.
He flashed her a smile, but saw in her eyes he couldn’t hide his discomfort. She nodded understandingly, but she didn’t understand. How could she? She fitted in here, with these people, who spoke her language, shared her interests.
One of them said they’d read an article on gender inequality in literary workspaces. They turned to her.
“What was it you said,” one asked, “the other day? You made a valid point.”
She stiffened, retracted her hand from his thigh. “Oh, I don’t know.”
They pushed her. She made a joke about their drinking red wine, cleared the subject by starting a new one. Twenty minutes later they were on their way home, her co-workers still in the pub.
“I’m sorry,” she said.
“For what?”
“For them.” She took his hand, but it was cold. “They’re passionate about that stuff. It’s good they are.” She shrugged. “But they can get carried away.”
Sirius watched the cars drive by in the street. It started to rain. On the other side, lights burned behind the windows. He saw a couple watching TV, a mother chasing her toddler around in the living room, a lonely man reading the newspaper by the window. He blinked the rain from his eyes.
“It’s fine.”
She squeezed his hand and he turned to her. “It’s not. You didn’t have fun. Frankly, neither did I.”
He saw the streetlights reflected in her eyes, like stars in the night’s sky. There was a weak smile on her lips. The soft rain dampened her hair and it stuck to her forehead. He reached out and brushed it back.
“Let’s go home.”
She nodded. Pulled him closer to kiss him. He let her made him forget about tonight. He was hers. And she was his, for now.
 - - - o - - -
He was already sitting in the restaurant when she arrived. His hands lay in his lap. He was thinking of her. He usually was, but lately it had changed. Things were getting worse. He was getting worse. He started to feel the things he had hoped he’d never feel again and they were wearing him down
He had seen her. That afternoon. During his lunchbreak he had taken a walk through the city and he had spotted her sitting in a lunchroom with who he believed was one of her colleagues. Her hair was down, the sleeves of her jumper rolled up to her elbows, and she was laughing. Proper loud laughing.
And suddenly Sirius couldn’t remember the last time he had made her laugh like that. Couldn’t remember the last time she’d sat with him so open, so happy. He tried to think of how happy they were together, but he could find nothing. Every memory of the past month was tainted by his insecurities.
His heart had broken into a thousand shards and he was carrying them with his bare hands, waiting on someone to take the load from him so he could take a breath and start reassembling them.
She entered the restaurant, light bending to her appearance. She shone, like she always did, but Sirius knew it was not for him. If anything, he had dimmed her light. He had held her back.
She greeted him with a kiss and his hands wavered, shards almost falling to the ground. He watched as she sat down and pulled her coat off. Her sleeves were down. Her hair was up.
That’s when he couldn’t help it. It was one drink after another until the edges of his discomfort started to blur. He listened to her, but not really.
“What is going on?” she asked.
Everything. “Nothin’.”
“That’s a lie, Sirius. Tell me what’s going on.”
He wished he could blame it on her. That she’d made a mistake. He wished he could hate her. But he couldn’t. Never.
“It’s nothing, really.”
She looked at him, her eyes drilling into his over the table. “Please tell me.”
“Can’t.”
“Why not?”
He shut his eyes. “Because.”
Maybe he wanted her to scream at him. To hit him. Stab a fork in his chest. He wanted her to give some reaction that would justify his behaviour. He wanted this fight to be with her, instead of with his own weaknesses.
“Because? Sirius, you’re not making sense. Maybe… you shouldn’t drink anymore tonight.”
“I saw you.”
He opened his eyes. She was watching him with a frown, her hand halfway over the table to pull his glass back.
“What do you mean?”
“This afternoon. I saw you.”
Something defiant shot into her eyes. “Yes, I was having lunch with my friend. Like I told you this morning.”
“You were laughing. And that dickhead guy—”
“Sirius.” He fell silent. “That is my friend you’re talking about. You can’t call him that. Are you out of your mind?”
“That guy made you laugh.”
Her nostrils flared. “Did you hear what I said? Are you even listening to me?”
“I don’t make you laugh.”
“Not right now, no!”
She didn’t shine anymore. She burned. She threw her napkin on her plate and yanked her coat from the back of her chair. He was sure she would yell at him. She would curse him and leave him there. Like he deserved.
But instead she put on her coat, took a deep breath, and said, “Come on. We’re going home.”
He was so stunned he followed her. The tension between them was palpable as they walked the crowded streets back to her place. He got swept up in the grey of his thoughts, the spiral towards disaster, the shards in his hands almost falling down.
Her flat was silent. Cold. This morning he had stood in the hall, feeling happy. Now his life was crumbling around him.
“I’m not going to fight with you tonight,” she said.
He frowned at her, but she had already walked to the bedroom.
He wasn’t entirely sure how long it took him to find his place next to her in the bed, but long enough for the haze of his drinks to wear off. He felt miserable as he lay next to her. He wanted to reach out for her, to kiss her and tell her he was sorry and beg for forgiveness. But he couldn’t.
Because he knew it was coming before she said it.
“I can’t do this anymore.” She didn’t move. He knew she was staring at the ceiling. “It’s all these… fucking situations, circumstances, miscommunications. It’s too much.”
He said nothing.
“Tell me what’s going on, Sirius. Please.”
But he couldn’t. She deserved better. He couldn’t tell her he needed her because without her he was nothing. He couldn’t tell that she was a meteor strike. Gorgeous, but oh so destructive. He couldn’t tell her that everything after this would be second best because no one was her.
His hands failed. The shards fell. Everywhere. In the darkness of her bedroom he saw them fly everywhere. His hands were empty. In his chest was a gaping hole.
He said nothing.
- - - o - - -
His friends stared at him for so long he wondered if time had stopped. His hands were clasped around his empty glass, cold and clammy. The shirt he was wearing was too tight, the pub too loud, yet not even as close as loud enough to drown out his thoughts.
She was his biggest regret. Easily. Nothing in his life even amounted to what he’d had with her and he had thrown it all away for nothing. All because he was scared.
James was the first to speak. “So you just left her house in the middle of the night?”
He wished he had put up more of a fight. If he hadn’t given in to his insecurities, if he had fought them, would they still be together? Would she be sitting beside him, would they have told this story together as a funny one?
He wished he could still touch her. His gaze went to her figure and the hole in his chest ached.
The stupid truth was that now he was doing better. He had found a way to battle his insecurities, the wound in him had started to heal. But his heart was still in a thousand pieces in her bedroom. No one had ever come close to her. He didn’t want them to.
“Fuck, mate,” Peter said and he sagged back in his chair. “That’s rough.”
Sirius let out a dry laugh. Rough was an understatement. Before he met her it was as if he had been trapped and she had helped him escape. But now he was stuck again and she had shown him just enough of the world to leave him always wanting to go back to it.
“So,” Remus said. “Will you talk to her?”
“I don’t know…”
“You owe her an explanation. This is your chance.”
He knew. For six months he had been waiting for this moment, but he was scared. She would no doubt be angry with him, while he knew that one look from her would be enough to set him forever aflame.
But he had to. So when she got up to go to the bar again, Sirius gathered all his strength and followed. It was now or never.
The light bent around her as if it existed for purely that function. Her hair shone in the yellowish glow of the bar and she tucked a strand behind her ear before she spoke to the barman. This close her voice was louder, clearer, messing even more with Sirius’ head. His heart stammered in his chest, but it was too late for doubt.
“Hi, Sirius,” she said and from that moment on there was only her.
“Hello.”
She leaned with her hip against the bar and looked at him. Her eyes glittered. “It’s nice to see you. You look good.”
“Oh, thanks.” He’d expected anger, sneers, openly disdain, but there was only an honest expression on her face. He didn’t know what was worse. All the lame defences he had come up with fell away and he was left with plain honesty. He wanted to tell her how much he missed her, that he hoped she was doing alright, wanted to ask if she ever thought about him.
But such honesty was six months too late.
Instead he looked back at her and dared a smile—which, around her, wasn’t that hard. “You look wonderful.”
He wanted to know how she was but was afraid of the answer, so he asked, “What are you doing here? You hate this place.”
Her laugh was bright. “I never said I hate this place. Just think there are better ones.” She shook her head. “Dor suggested it. Or… she just brought me here, no choice. To celebrate my new job.”
“New job?”
The barman placed three new beers on the bar for her and she thanked him, but made no move to take them and walk back. Instead she shrugged half-heartedly.
“Yeah, it wasn’t really a fit there. I mean I sort of liked it when I had Lily there, but after she’d gone, there was no more reason for me to stay. It’s not like I had fun there or anything.”
Sirius looked at her and wondered how it was possible that the person he had been so in sync with just half a year ago was now a paradoxical stranger to him. He knew nothing about her life now, yet she was as familiar to him as ever. He knew when she’d smile or brush the hair behind her ear, knew how she’d pronounce certain words with her slight accent, knew the exact way her body felt in his hands, but they were not the same persons they were six months ago. She had a new job and who knew what else had changed. Maybe she was even seeing someone new.
“That’s great,” he managed. “That’s good.”
She smiled her wide smile. “Yes, very good. How are you? What’s that that I heard? That you’re dating someone? That’s nice, I’m sure.”
He didn’t ever want to lie to her again. That was what drove them apart in the first place. Even though it was too late, she deserved the truth.
“No, it’s not.”
She frowned, her beautiful eyebrows knitting together. “Not?”
“I don’t really like her. I just don’t want to be alone.”
Her teeth sunk into her lower lip. She eyed the pints and then glanced back at him, an apologising smile on her face. “I’m sorry about that.” She took the beers. “Sirius—”
“Do you hate me?”
He blurted it out before he could stop himself. But if this was the last time she’d ever talk to him, he wanted to know.
“What?”
“Do you hate me?”
Her eyes softened. “I don’t. I could never hate you, Sirius. You’re an amazing man and I hope you’ll realise you’re worth so much more than you think. You deserve that.”
She stepped closer and kissed his cheek. “For what it’s worth, I think you should be with someone you love.” She stepped back. “It was nice to see you again, love. I’ll see you around.”
He watched her turn around, go back to her friends. He didn’t want to say goodbye to her again. This could not be the moment she walked out of his life. And maybe she would turn him down, reject him, break his heart into a billion pieces that could never get back together, but he had to give it a try. She was the best thing in his life and he couldn’t let her leave.
“Wait!”
She looked back.
He saw the past year flash by. All the good moments and bad ones. And he imagined the future. There would be more pain to come, more hard moments and difficult fights, but if it was up to him, he didn’t want to do it without her.
He smiled. It was always so easy around her.
“Can I ask you a question?”

- The whole dynamic between the two of you feels a little push and pull at times
- Like, you two can have amazing moments of understanding and bonding, just for her to push you further away later
- Arguments here and there, but at the end of it all, you always stick with Gwen (she really appreciates your patience with her)
- Eventually, things got really awkward between the two of you, and Gwen couldn’t understand why
- She seriously never knows what she’s feeling because she doesn’t take the time to reflect on her emotions
- She really missed dropping by your dimension and swinging around with you
- You both would swing through the cities, and you’d take her to the tallest buildings to impress her with the most gorgeous views (you did accidentally hold her hand like once, because you were scared she would’ve fallen somehow)
- Feelings were confronted, confessions were said (through your window at the middle of the night)
- Gwen was so nervous and afraid to ruin your friendship, speaking with a shaky voice whilst messing with her hair (a nervous habit she had)
- You shot a web at her, yanking on it and pulling her into a dramatic kiss–hands on her cheeks
- She was absolutely losing her mind over this, panicking so hard in the moment, hovering her hands over you, until wrapped them behind your back, bringing you in closer
- She could not stop tripping over her words after, which made you laugh because you’d never seen her so flustered before
- Gwen isn’t the best with being affectionate, so you usually have to initiate it, but you don’t mind it when you see her reactions
- She’s usually pretty calm, so when she drops the most unexpected compliment or flirtatious comment, you scream inside (she’s so embarrassed and has no idea what came over her but she hides it well, changing the subject)
- You yell at her a lot to take care of herself on the job at the end of the day when the both of you are done with your spider-duties
- Gwen brushes it off, which upsets you
- So you have to obviously pamper this girl and take care of her for the night: dinner, tea, backrub, facemasks, and cuddling at night
- Gwen giggles at the feeling of kisses on her neck, she’s super ticklish there
- Loves being the big spoon for some reason, or prefers to face you and sleep in a hug
- It takes a while for her to pass out or get comfortable, but she usually passes out as soon as you start playing with her hair
- Light sleeper, so if she wakes up first, she admires you and brushes her hand against yours
- She likes stealing your clothes, always owning at least a few of your clothes to wear at home or outside
- Gwen isn’t too big on PDA, but always physically gravitates towards you when the two of you are hanging out in public
- Drums on your arm or leg like she’s playing music, and mimics drumset sounds which makes you laugh
- She loves seeing you in your Spidersuit since it fits you so well
- The two of you rant about the craziest things you saw in your dimension whilst swinging around the city, she loves listening to you
- It’s a little tough leaving each other to head back to your own dimensions, but Gwen always makes sure to give you a goodbye kiss
- She let’s you know she’ll be thinking about you when she’s back in her dimension (which leads to your special collection of trinkets gifted by Gwen, little things that remind her of you or represent inside jokes the two of you share)
- Overall, she loves and adores you so much, but isn’t the best at showing it

how differently do you think the Marauders would have treated Snape is he was female? Would they have been less vicious or would their bullying just take on a different form (like say touching her inappropriately or flipping her skirt just like removing Snape's pants)
And would Remus stand up for Snape more if he was female because would he think "no she can't handle that, they're going too far, she's a girl" etc etc
*squeals* oh my goodness I love this questionnn 🤩
I think it depends on many things — what would the professors do if the Marauders’ relentless and extreme bullying began? What would Remus say? How would the other students react to the Marauders’ bullying when it’s done in public? And most importantly, would the Marauders stop after they face consequences?
I think:
Remus would definitely force himself to speak up because the “gentleman in him doesn’t want a woman to go through that.” I’m sure his justification of the incident was “boys will be boys.” If Snape was a girl instead, I’m sure he, along with many more students and professors, would be enraged.
I think the Professors definitely would’ve done something about it. The most we hear in canon is James and Sirius getting detentions, but I’m sure they would’ve gotten way more warnings from the professors if they continued with their behaviour. And I’m sure a lot more students would report the Marauders’ behaviour (both their behaviour towards Snape and their behaviour towards other students), and the teachers would be forced to do something about it.
Another thing we have to remember is that the Marauders era took place in the 70s and women weren’t exactly.. treated the best during that time. So you could argue that a lot of fem!Snape’s experiences with them was dismissed, not only because she was a Slytherin, but because she was a woman too (and she wasn’t a conventionally pretty one). Additionally, we should also remember that James and Sirius are both privileged white guys who come from well-known pureblood families, so I doubt they would’ve faced really serious consequences, unless they took more precautions to hide their bullying of fem!Snape.
But I still think that, while fem!Snape must’ve experienced a lot of misogyny during her Hogwarts years, the professors (especially the women) would be more sympathetic to her than if she were a man (because “he should just man up” or “Potter and Black are just being boys, it’s not a big deal”).
Conclusion: I think that fem!Snape’s struggles would be taken more seriously and sometimes a few students (either guys or girls) would stand up for her when she’s bullied in public, so as a response to that, the Marauders made sure to target and attack her in more private areas in order to avoid any disruptions. And I think she would also still experience other people dismissing what she went through, but for slightly different reasons than male!Snape, perhaps some people might tell her “boys do that because they like you” or “it’s okay they’re just being silly boys” or “be more mature, you’re a girl.” And I think James, Sirius, and Peter might possibly target her without Remus because he would’ve spoken up about it more than once and they decided “he’s no fun, let’s just ditch him.” And I think SWM definitely would not have happened in public, because if it did, I think that would definitely be the last straw for the professors and the Marauders would get either suspended or even expelled.
End of rant. Thank you for this interesting question Nonnie.

Somewhat tangentially related to that other ask but I wish fandom would just acknowledge that Eddie is also bully in his own right and just because he's antagonist towards jocks doesn't mean they deserve it by virtue of being jocks (no matter how much fandom likes to pretend it's warranted because Eddie is bullied himself- this is nowhere near canon and I'd go so far as to say it goes against canon if we're basing it off of Eddie's own behavior) and beyond all that; like the other asker and yourself said Eddie isn't just antagonizing jocks! He openly scorns band kids, geeks and pretty much everyone that isn't his specific brand of nerd which is not about academics so much as nerdy interest like fantasy and "non-conformist" music.
I put that in quotations because Eddie is actually probably the one that buys into the whole high school hierarchy spiel more than any other character on the show; by setting himself up as such an anti-establishment non conformist (all within the high school setting mind you we see nothing to make me believe his ideals go beyond that setting and it makes sense to me considering he's a Peter Pan archetype stuck in a state of arrested development- but I digress) because he sets himself up in such a way that his entire persona is built off of the abject refusal to adhere to societal expectations he's by and large helping to perpetuate them. He's cosplaying this attitude more than living by it because the societal norms still very much dictate how he views himself and how he approaches others.
Ironically Steve is the real deal in this regard by shucking what others expect from him and living his own life the way he wants it divorced from the excepted norms he used to let dictate him as late as mid s3 while changing the things he didn't like about himself behaviorally while still retaining his core personality and interests without the need to revise himself fully.
But because he doesn't have an alt style or interests that go against the mainstream, fandom refuses to see him in this light. He also doesn't let his new friends change his own interests nor expect them to change theirs for him.
I guess this rant makes me sound like I don't like Eddie but I do! I think fandom Eddie is entirely separate from canon Eddie however, to the point where his only recognizable qualities are his interests and aesthetic. Fandom really seems to martyr him in that regard and fully drink his kool-aid which is hilarious because it's largely performative with no substance lmao (even the "woe is me hunt the freak huh 🥺" falls flat narratively when a whole ass dead girl was found in his home).
I think the duplicitous nature of his personality and his hypocrisy (while still fully being a good guy! If you ignore the whole uh selling hard core drugs to a 17/18 year old girl who clearly never did them before thing) I think it's this dual nature and slightly shady actions while still having a caring heart and good intentions is what makes him a good character and we don't get to see that hardly ever with the way a laaaarge portion of fandom worships at his freak alter.
god, beautifully written. i agree with every single point. honestly, you anons just know how to word exactly what i’m feeling.
yes! eddie pretends like he rejects societal ideals, but he just reinforces them to the next generation. he’s built his life on being the freak, he plays it up to get attention, and to rile up his classmates. i honestly think eddie won’t know who he is post high school. which is, like you said, ironically the way the fandom tries to portray steve. but we see that he’s much more secure in himself and his life than eddie. does he have everything figured out? of course not, he’s 18!! but he knows a hell of a lot more than eddie.
but because he isn’t a nerdy outcast, the fandom would have us believe that he actually hates his life and who he is, and secretly doesn’t want to be a jock. fanon steve is honestly way more like canon eddie than i think the fandom wants to admit.
(and yeah, chrissy is found dead in his home. people aren’t just witch hunting eddie for no reason lmao)
all this is what makes canon eddie an actual interesting character!!! and the fact he (and steve) are entirely stripped of these characteristics is one of the reasons that i just can’t vibe with the fandoms rendition of steddie.

{THIS IS A RANT} - Back at it again with the
ALL MY HOBIES HATE PETER B.
(Not a typo)
Tumblr media
Another rant where I talk about hating Peter B on every level in which my soul manifests
[Stop talking about if your parenting is good so help me fucking god this has nothing to do with you and lives are at stake]
The reason I find Miguel easier to defend than Peter B is because Miguel actually has actions to speculation about in the story.
Peter spent that whole movie talking about his baby, standing completely stationary while witnessing child abuse twice (he didn't nothing when Gwen was sent home) and then go home and talk about how he's sad cause he's not a good mentor and might not be 'good at this'
Like sir who the hell cares what youre good at A teenage girl just became homeless and Miles is being hunted by hundreds of adults
Can you give us more than 'I'm bad at this mentor stuff 😭😭😭'
Put MayDay in the crib and go get Gwen.
Or at the very least tell MJ. Tell MJ that the kid that inspired you to have MayDay is in mortal danger. Tell MJ that the reason you think you're a bad mentor is because MILES JUST GOT HIS ASS BEAT
Why is his thought after ALL THAT about himself abd only HIMSELF? And how he might be a bad mentor
Like yes, you are now that we've realized that glaring fact can you like.... Do something
ALSO YOU HAVEN'T SEEN MILES IN OVER A YEAR WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU WORRIED ABOUT THAT
'you don't know if he was going to go get gw-'
Exactly. Cause all he did was talk about himself.
'what if the society was supporting them financially-'
if you see your boss assault a child you should quit even if you make a million a month
'he ended up joining the team anyway'
Gwen, the teenager, the homeless teenager, shouldn't be the one coming to Peter's rescue right now it should be the other way around.
The only reason he joined at the end was because Hobie and Gwen made it super convenient for them.
Had Hobie not left Gwen the watch - and Gwen hadn't showed up -
We are given NO PROOF whatsoever that Peter would've joined them.
No verbal indication or anything.
We have no idea how long Peter would've stayed on Miguel's side had Gwen not approached him.
LITERALLY all Peter did this movie was show Miles baby pictures, tell him he has to let his dad die, accidentally get him caught because he's too stupid to turn off his TRACKING watch , watch Miles get his ass beat, then watch Gwen get her ass beat, then go home and talk about himself.
At least Miguel is having an emotional arc meanwhile Peter shows the emotional range of a bad day at the office despite the fact people he knows and cares about have been hurt in front of him by someone he knows and cares about.
And people still defend him.
HE DID NOTHING. THERE'S NOTHING TO DEFEND BUT HIS INACTION
I feel like so many people excuse his inaction and failure to 'he means well' - obviously not cause when you mean well you do well and he ain't do shit.
"What was he supposed to do?"
At the very least express concern of some sort about the two missing children in his life??
Put MayDay down and try to see if you can find Gwen?
At the very least mention the fact that his boss went apeshit - or Hell, talk about ANYTHING besides himself.
I don't know how people can see that and be like yeah he's cool. This is a competent man who cares about these kids
Like.... If you care and do nothing and make them do literally everything and help them none to the point you're actively leading danger to them because you can't think ahead all while clapping from the sidelines then who the fuck cares what you care about
You don't care enough to do something. So why would I care you're a bad mentor???????
At least Miguel is doing something and we can look deeper into his emotional arc and story and motive
Peter B gives literally nothing. Nothing. Contributes nothing to no one through the whole movie. Doesn't even do a cool Spidey move or anything. Jokes dry as hell -
FUCK I'm so salty why did the write him like a plank of wood why am I supposed to be okay with his WHY WHY WHY
Tumblr media
WANT ME TO CLAP AND SHIT MEANWHILE I'M LOOKING AT HIM LIKE
Tumblr media
What can he do that Noir, Pavitr, and Hobie can't? Like.... They can do everything he can???? With extra abilities,??? PENI HAS A MECH?? WHAT IS HE ADDING WHAT IS HE BRINGING WHAT IS HE SERVING
NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING
____________________________________________
Anyway if you made it this far he's a master list of all my posts where I talk about why a Peter is a horribly borderline irredeemable character.
Peter watching as Gwen is put in the machine, and says nothing besides a joke to defend her, before going home to talk about himself
Hobie doesn't like Peter so neither do I
Why I believe Peter purposely ratted Miles out - If Peter didn't know he was being tracked, why would she speak out loud and give herself away. She didn't. I believe Peter asked her to track them and she responded out loud not knowing Miles was right there.
Why even if he didn't rat Miles out, that's arguably worse - How do you forget the obvious tracker watch is obvious tracking you?
UHH SO YEAH FUCK PETER B ALL MY HOBIES HATE PETER B

pop princess !
✎ᝰ — spider boys with a gf who’s a popstar !
♡⃕ — tasm!peter parker, ffh!peter parker x popstar!fem!reader
♡⃕ — genre + warning: fluff + peter is a major fan girl, mention of anxiety, failure, insecurity. lemme know if i missed anything !
♡⃕ — a/n: this includes andrew garfield and tom holland’s spiderman !
Tumblr media
꒰ TASM!PETER PARKER ꒱
Ꮺ at first peter was doubtful of dating a pop star, especially being a simple nobody in his high school. just a boy with his camera but now he’s in front of the camera. don’t get me wrong, peter is more than thrilled to be dating you but he’s dating you. thee famous y/n, everyone’s favorite pop girl, star girl that has little girls dreaming
Ꮺ but also the lights, camera, the attention can be quite overwhelming and he will take a minute to adjust from all this. though, you won't always ask him to attend every event and he doesn’t mind attending attending every event so there
Ꮺ cause of his lowkey nature, you try to keep the relationship discreet. you would rather not have your fans swarm at peter’s door or harass him constantly at school
Ꮺ out in the public, you two would wear some type of covering so paparazzi or fans cannot tell who you both are
Ꮺ he’s try very very very hard to be your supportive boyfriend and attend every concert, every showing, every fan meet, any and everything. but being spiderman, and a high school student, he won’t always be at your hip at all times. If he can’t, he’ll send you a text that he won’t be there and send words of encouragement
Ꮺ during his duties as spiderman, if he’s not too busy, he’ll swing through the city until he reaches the venue of your concert. he’ll take a seating on the roof of it and sing along to your words, it’s not the best view but hey, it beats missing your girlfriend’s concert
Ꮺ on the roof, peter snaps some pictures of your concert and prints them off at home. he’ll hang them up on the wall above his desk, along with the many other cute pictures of just you
Ꮺ strangely enough, when you two are out on the red carpets, reporters ask about your views on spiderman. some even ship you with the masked vigilante and you just laugh it off
Ꮺ when you’re not around, he’ll sing some of your songs but definitely won’t tell you. he knows how much of a tease you can be and jokingly calls him your number one fan. of course, that title he won’t deny
Ꮺ whenever you’re at peter’s home, you play a cd of your unreleased songs or demos. you two would just sit and listen to them in peace or he’ll learn the lyrics to sing along. you always give him a copy of the cd before you go home
Ꮺ of course peter has backstage pass to your concerts so he’s usually chilling there until the show starts. he’s there to compliment your outfits, help you go over your setlist, and of course take many pictures of his beautiful pop princess
Ꮺ when things get overwhelming, you go to his home and just rant. you lay on his bed and just talk until you can’t no more, while peter sits and listens to you rant, he’ll rub your back or the top of your head. he would study how your body fluctuates as you vent, for future reference. he would silence sit in for a while than talk you through what is bothering you. whether it would be the lack of privacy, the expectations from fans, fear of failure, insecurities, etc., peter will advise well on how to handle them all. well, at least most of them
Ꮺ if the both of you are not too busy, you would bring him to your studio and show him your song-making process. it’s a very special and private place for you and why not show your loving, supportive boyfriend ?
Ꮺ he would ask questions here and there but for the rest of the time being, he’s quiet. peter would watch you write the lyrics and create a melody, he would watch you scribble and scratch in your journal as he sat across from you
Ꮺ if you appear to become frustrated, he silently hug you and asks if you want a break. he would take you on a walk, and ask more about the song to help you piece it together. sometimes you guys would stop for food, talk more about the song, and figure out what direction you wanted to go for
Ꮺ though, you don’t always have the energy to talk about songs so you would rather chat about your daily life. peter would update you on aunt may and you would tell him about your latest crazy fan experience
Ꮺ if he doesn’t have any advice, he will tell you words of encouragement. he would tell you how proud he is, how far you came, that you’re in control of who you are and not the public. he would remind you of the real you, the raw, organic y/n that he knows and loves. but also reminds me of how happy you look to be on stage or shooting in magazines as the world’s pop princess
Ꮺ speaking of, every shoot that you do for magazines, best believe peter would have every collection. sometime he’ll try to read it in class and some people speculated that he was a fan girl cause there’s no way that every issue always includes you on the front. that’s odd parker, very odd
꒰ PETER PARKER ꒱
Ꮺ your biggest, BIGGEST fan. he’s got all your merch, your cds, you’re his wallpaper. literally he couldn’t be more proud to the boyfriend of everyone’s pop girl, y/n l/n
Ꮺ peter is singing your songs, loudly and bad, posting your new song on his socials, the whole nine yards. I wouldn’t say he’s staying up to listen to your new song but he does learn the lyrics to impress you
Ꮺ I would say your relationship is discreet but not too lowkey ?? like ned and mj knows about the two of you but also you post peter from time to time. If not, then you two would usually hint about the relationship but not give too much information
Ꮺ on red carpet events, peter is recording you from the first step ‘til you hit inside the venue. he’s complimenting and hyping you up, fixing any small details like a loose lash or a small wrinkle on your dress
Ꮺ as bad of a fangirl he is for you, he might be even worse for other celebrities he meets. listen, he is a teenage boy from queens, did he expect to meet gwen stefani or rihanna ? rihannna ? he’s passed out on the floor at this point. if you see one of his favorite musicians, drag him the other way….
Ꮺ now, not all the time he can attend due to his school and his duties as spiderman. but he is sending words of encouragement to fulfill his presence
Ꮺ peter would be starstruck every time he’s out with you. no he’s still not used to being in your dressing room filled with priceless jewelry, clothes that must cost hundreds, and accessories that are so unique and made just for you to wear. it’s like he’s stepped into a popstar’s bubble and very scared to touch
Ꮺ I feel like peter would refuse to believe he’s dating thee pop girl, y/n. like he knows he’s dating you but has he accepted it? let’s just say he still pinches himself every time you text him, ya know, to make sure he’s not dreaming
Ꮺ whenever you’re at peter’s home, you play a cd of your unreleased songs or demos. you two would just sit and listen to them in peace or he’ll learn the lyrics to sing along. you always give him a copy of the cd before you go home
Ꮺ secretly peter has a playlist of just your songs and only your songs. he wouldn’t allow you to see since he would feel embarrassed but ned and mj are for sure teasing him about it
Ꮺ like the other peter, he would have every single issue of your magazine covers. he doesn’t care if they’re small articles of your latest look, he is reading it !
Ꮺ between class times, he would try to watch clips of your interview and blush over how cute you look. certain questions would have him a tad bit concerned but he knows you can handle it well
Ꮺ throughout the day, peter would ask if you’re doing okay, mentally and physically. he understands how draining it is to be well-known in the public eye, especially in the age of social media. If you say no, he’ll stop by your place and comfort you with what is bothering you. also, please don’t lie to him about how you’re feeling cause his spider senses will tell him
Tumblr media
♡⃕ lately I’ve been listening to music from the 2000s and it makes me wish to be a pop girl in the 2000s saurrrrr bad. omg-

Unwell
I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell I know, right now you can't tell But stay a while and maybe then you'll see A different side of me
Tumblr media
Sirius Black dragged himself into the Great Hall early in the morning with dark, prominent circles under his eyes. He plopped himself down next to his friends and smashed his head against the table. Remus immediately poured a large cup of coffee in front of him.
“Thank you, Moony” he mumbled with his head still buried in his arm.
“What happened to you, Padfoot? Stayed up with that blonde Ravenclaw bird you’ve been talking to?” James smirked at his best friend while Peter laughed.
Sirius slowly lifted up his head and shook his head while he grabbed his coffee. He was too tired to think of a snarky comeback.
“No, my sister was really sick last night” he said, erasing the smiles off James and Peter’s faces. The three Marauders knew very well about the youngest Black’s condition. “She threw up like four times and had a fever of 102” he continued before getting a sip of his coffee. “She didn’t get any sleep so neither did I. Regulus is with her right now” he said, starting to get some food on his plate.
Remus looked up from his Daily Prophet feeling his heart break at the thought of the girl he was in love with being in pain. “I’m sorry, mate” he said, placing his hand on Sirius’ shoulder, not really knowing what else to say.
“It’s all bloody Sprout’s fault anyway!” Sirius ranted. “She’s allergic to like half the plants in the greenhouse, she shouldn’t be forced to be near them!”
“I know mate,” James said. “But at least it’s Saturday so maybe she can get some rest” he suggested.
“Speaking of which, are you still coming to Hogsmeade today?” Peter asked, reaching for seconds.
“For a little bit. Might get her some candy or something so she’ll feel better. As long as Regulus is okay watching her” he said, getting more coffee.
“I can stay with her” Remus blurted out before he could stop himself.
James smirked at the werewolf while Peter looked confused. Sirius turned to look at him with his eyebrow arched up.
“Um… you can stay with her?”
“Well not stay uh- with her” he stuttered. “I just mean, I’m not going to Hogsmeade today so-”
“Really? Why is that, Moony?” James asked, resting his head on his hand, extremely interested in the conversation.
“Well, Prongs” he said between clenched teeth. “Since the full moon is next week I thought I’d stay and get ahead in my schoolwork” he replied. “So, I can stay and keep her company” he said, going back to his breakfast.
“That is mighty kind of you, Moony” James said, earning a glare from the werewolf.
“Mate, seriously? You wouldn’t mind?” Sirius asked him. He was honestly really tired and as much as he loved you, he needed a break. “I’ll just be gone for like an hour tops and I honestly think she’s gonna sleep all day so you can just-”
“Padfoot, it’s fine” Remus insisted. “I can check on her and make sure she gets some rest-”
“Could you also please make sure she eats something? She sometimes doesn’t-”
“I will” Remus assured him. “Really, Pads. Just go enjoy Hogsmeade, I’ll stay here working and keep her company” he told him.
“Thanks so much, Moons” Sirius said, finishing his coffee and getting up. “I’ll let Reg know” he told him.
“I’ll come with you, I need to get my sweater” Peter said, getting up too. “Meet outside?” he told James and Sirius and they both nodded before the other two boys left the Great Hall.
“So…” James said turning to Remus who was reading his Daily Prophet again. “You’re staying here, huh?” he smirked. Remus turned his eyes from the paper to his friend.
“Yeah, I thought Padfoot could use a break-”
“Or… you thought… you could stay here with someone” James said, arching his eyebrows up and down.
“Prongs, what are you trying to say?” he said, putting the paper away.
“Nothing” James shrugged. “I’m just saying I find it interesting that you’re staying behind with... someone” he told him.
“Stop saying it like that! I’m not staying behind with her. I need to-”
“Get ahead on homework? The homework you told me you just finished last night?” he said, placing his head on his hand.
“What’s your point, James?” Remus said, rolling his eyes and taking a sip of his tea.
“You’re in love with her” he smiled, making Remus choke on his tea.
“W-what?” he asked, trying to recover himself and faking a laugh. “That is just ridiculous, Prongs-”
“Is it, Remus?”
“Yes, James. It is” he glared at the bespectacled boy.
“Tell me I’m wrong, then” James said with a smirk still plastered on his face.
“W-well… you’re wrong” Remus said unconvincingly.
“You know you’re a terrible liar, right?”
“I’m not lying” he chuckled.
“You just looked away” James pointed out.
“So?”
“You do that every time you lie” he shrugged.
“No, I don’t” he said, rolling his eyes again. “Shit” he muttered.
“I knew it” James said excitedly, banging his hands on the table.
“Would you keep it down? If Padfoot finds out he’s gonna kill me!”
“No, he’s not” James laughed. “I mean, he’s not gonna like it but… I don’t think he’s gonna kill you” he told him.
“Really?”
“Look mate, we all love her and try to help as much as we can but… Wormtail and I don’t do nearly as much as you do for her and none of us look as miserable as you do whenever Padfoot tells us it’s been a rough night” he explained. “I know you don’t do it because Sirius is your favorite person-”
“Sirius is not my favorite person-!”
“Exactly, that’s what I’m saying, he’s not” he told him. “It’s her. And she also loves it when you take care of her” he told him.
“What?”
“You haven’t noticed?” James asked. “You always make her smile whenever we come visit her and her face lights up when you read to her” he told her.
“She- she does?” he asked with a small smile.
“I’m telling you, mate. I’ve known for a while. And if you ask me, you’d be kinda perfect for each other” he told him.
“Really?”
“Yeah” James said as if it was obvious. “I know you said you’re not staying with her, but I think she would love to know that you are” he said before getting up. “Think about it, mate” he told Remus before he left the Great Hall.
*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
You rolled around on your bed, waking up when you started coughing. You slowly sat up and grabbed the glass of water on your nightstand and then the little potion Regulus had left for you. You were finally feeling a little bit better and decided to take a shower and head down to the library to get some books and maybe get something to eat as well. You were happy both your brothers went to enjoy their day in Hogsmeade. You felt extremely guilty that they had to miss so many things because they were taking care of you. And the two of them could be really overprotective sometimes so you were happy they took a break.
You entered the library and wandered through the halls looking for books and then you heard him. You could recognize his laughter anywhere. You grabbed the book to your left and you saw Remus on the other side of the bookshelf. You felt your heart quickly racing when he smiled but it dropped as soon as you saw he was talking to a couple of girls from Gryffindor. You had seen them around the Marauders before and you had always assumed they liked Sirius or James or maybe Peter. But you noticed that one of them seemed particularly interested in everything Remus had to say. She laughed extra hard whenever he said something funny. She always made it a habit to find an excuse to touch Remus whenever they talked.
And you noticed all these things because it always made your heart ache when it happened. Because you had been in love with Remus Lupin for a very long time. But you were certain that he would never look at you that way. Because you were Sirius’ little sister that got sick all the time. So you tried to avoid thinking about that but it was a bit harder whenever you saw him with these girls around. You sighed, deciding to not make yourself feel worse, and put the book back before you walked away. But it wasn’t that long before he found you.
“Love?”
You turned around to see Remus at the end of the hallway in the Library now.
“Remus” you said with a weak smile.
“Aren’t you supposed to be resting?” he asked, with a small smile, walking closer to you.
You looked at him nervously and hugged the books closer to your chest.
“Please, don’t tell my brothers” you begged. “I just came here to get a few books and I was going to get something to eat and go back to my room. I just don’t want to fall behind in my classes and I know that-”
“Relax, love” he smiled sweetly at you and took the books from you. “I won’t tell your brothers, I promise” he said, making your cheeks burn and your heart flutter as it happened whenever he smiled your way and even more when he called you ‘love’.
“Thank you” you smiled weakly. “Why aren’t you in Hogsmeade?” you asked. “Did Sirius send you to make sure that I wasn’t-?”
“No” he chuckled. “I swear, neither one of your brothers sent me” he insisted as the two of you walked out of the library and over to the kitchens.
“So, how come you’re here then?” you asked confused.
“Well, I wanted to see if you were okay” he said, making your heart race a little. “Sirius said you had a tough night” he said, making your heart drop instead. Of course, he’s only here because he’s worried that you’re his best friend’s fragile little sister who always gets sick and may just drop dead at any moment.
“Oh” you said, looking away. “I’m fine, thanks” you said. “You didn’t have to come all this way to check up on me. I’m not gonna die” you told him, trying to make a joke but Remus didn’t laugh.
“You know I don’t mind, right?” he told you.
“Right” you smiled sadly.
“I don’t” he said softly, stopping you before you could enter the kitchens.
“Look, Remus, I… I really appreciate you looking after me, but you don’t have to ruin your whole Saturday to do it” you said with a tight smile.
“I’m not ruining my Saturday-”
“Wouldn’t you rather be at Hogsmeade?”
“Not really” he admitted, surprising you a little. “Why do you think I’d only care about you because one of your brothers sent me here?” he asked.
Before you could reply, the door to the kitchen opened, revealing one of the elves with a big basket of food.
“Miss Black” Blim said, happily. “We were expecting you. Your brother instructed for us to prepare a special meal for you.”
You looked at Remus as if to say that everyone around you basically cared about you because your brothers took care of you and you couldn’t do it yourself. But you then looked back at the basket full of food and smiled politely because of the hard work the elves put into it.
“Thank you, Blim” you said, taking the basket from the elf. “I hope it wasn’t too much trouble” you smiled.
“Oh, no trouble at all. We are happy we can help Miss Black since she’s not well” Blim said before going back to the kitchens.
“Here, I can-”
“Remus John Lupin, if you try to take this basket away from me I swear I will hit you with it. And I’ll show you that I’m strong enough to do it!” you said, glaring at him.
“Sorry” he said, walking alongside you. “I just want to-”
“I know. You just want to help” you told him.
“Why do you think that’s such a bad thing?” he asked you, confused.
“I don’t, sorry. I just…” you sighed. “I’m just tired” you muttered.
“Well, I can walk you to your dorm and-”
“No” you interrupted him, grabbing the books from him. “Look, I don’t expect you to understand. You should just enjoy the rest of your day and go to Hogsmeade, I’m gonna go lay down for a while-”
“No, wait” he said, grabbing your hand and turning you around. “I’m not going to apologize for caring about you, okay? And if anyone understands it’s me” he told you. “I get it. I get how you’re feeling because it always happens to me after the full moon. And if I recall correctly, the last time you stayed all day in the Hospital Wing keeping me company, playing music and reading-”
“That’s different” you said, rolling your eyes.
“How so?”
“Because-” you stopped yourself before you could blurt out what you really wanted to say which was that you were in love with Remus and you would take all the time with him you could get. “Because it is” you said stubbornly.
“You are as bad as your brother when you try to make a valid point” he laughed.
“Take that back!” you gasped, offended.
“My point is, there’s nothing wrong with asking for help and there is nothing wrong with me worrying about you-”
“And my point is, you don’t have to do this just because I’m Sirius’ little sister who always gets sick and might drop dead at any moment! I’m sure you have better things to do-”
“Wait, is that why you think I worry about you?” he asked you once you reached the entrance of the Hufflepuff Common Room.
“Well… yes” you shrugged. “Isn’t it? That’s what everyone thinks. That I’m Sirius and Regulus’ fragile little sister so they all walk on eggshells around me. I get it-”
“No, love, you really don’t” Remus chuckled softly. “For someone so smart you can be very clueless, you know?”
“Really?” you asked, trying to sound annoyed instead of melting at the fact that he was smiling dreamily at you and he had called you ‘love’ again. “Then, enlighten me, Remus Lupin. Why are you here on a Saturday, worrying about me, instead of being at Hogsmeade?”
“Well, Miss Black” he said in a mocking tone before he grabbed the books back from you. “If you must know” he sighed. “I’m here because I hate the fact that my favorite person is the one who has to go through more pain than even I do and it’s not only once a month” he told you, taking you by surprise and making you look softly at him. “And whenever Sirius tells me that it’s been a rough night, or I can see how tired she is” he pointed out, looking at the dark circles under your eyes. “I just want to try and do whatever I can to make her feel better. Because that’s what she does for me every time I’m feeling sick” he smiled sweetly at you.
You couldn’t help but feel butterflies in your stomach, and your heart, and you were certain it wasn’t because of any fever or anything like that. It was because of the guy standing in front of you.
“I’m- um… I’m your favorite person?” you asked, feeling your cheeks burn as a smile crept on your face. “As in… more than Sirius?”
Remus laughed, looking at you as if you were crazy. “Of course, more than Sirius. Why does everyone think he’s my favorite person?”
“Because you’re the only person he actually listens to” you informed him. “Even more than James” you said.
“Even if that’s true, which I don’t think it is. Yes, you, love, are my favorite person” he smiled. “And I hate seeing you in pain” he continued, getting closer to you. “That’s why I’m here. And I’m not going to apologize for worrying about you. Is that okay?”
“Well um…” you said, feeling your heart flutter and your cheeks burning even more. You couldn’t look away from his beautiful green eyes. “Y-you’re my favorite person too, Rem” you smiled shyly at him.
“I am?” he asked, smiling brightly, making your knees go weak and you managed to nod.
“Are you joking? Of course, you are” you told him, looking down shyly. “You do things like these. You stayed behind from a trip to Hogsmeade and… you read to me when I’m not feeling well. And I’m not really sure why when it’s you doing all this I don’t-” you sighed. “I don’t actually mind it” you said, feeling your cheeks burn. “I kind of… like it” you said, looking down.
Remus took a deep breath and cupped your cheek so you would look at him. It was now or never.
“Well, that’s good” he smiled. “Because I actually like reading to make you feel better” he said. “I like doing whatever I can to make you feel better” he said, starting to lean in. “And… if you let me, I’d like to keep doing that” he said, so close to you. “Because I’m in love with you” he blurted out, smiling at you. You felt your breath caught up in your throat and your knees felt weak. You could swear you would wake up at any moment.
“Y-you- really?” was the only thing you managed to stutter out.
“Are you seriously still going to question me?” he asked, smirking a little. You smiled back at him and felt butterflies in your entire body when he closed the gap between the two of you and pressed his lips against yours.
Kissing Remus Lupin was better than you had ever imagined. If you still had any doubts (not that you did) about being in love with him they were now completely gone. But as soon as you started to kiss him, you pushed him away.
“S-sorry” you said when you saw the worried look on his face. “I just… don’t want to get you sick” you muttered. Remus smiled and cupped your cheek again. “But... I’m in love with you too” you confessed
“Then, I’ll take my chances, love” he said, kissing you once more.
“Do you um-” you said shyly. “Would you like to come in and eat some of this” you said, showing him the basket. “And… m-maybe-”
“Would you like me to read to you, love?”
“Could you? I still have a small headache and I-” Remus cut you off, giving you a peck on the lips.
“I just said, I like doing whatever I can to make you feel better, love” he said, kissing your forehead and making you smile.
*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
“Hey, princess. We’re back” Regulus said quietly, opening the door to your dorm.
“How are you-? WHAT THE FUCK?!” Sirius whispered-yelled when he saw Remus lying with you on your bet and you, asleep, resting your head on his chest as he signaled for your brothers to be quiet.
Regulus was smirking more than he had ever in his life probably. Mostly because Sirius owed him 50 galleons. But also because his older brother was trying to kill his best friends with his own eyes.
“Sirius, you need to calm down-” he whispered to his older brother.
“Shut up, Reggie!” Sirius snapped, before looking back at Remus. “Outside, right now!” he said before he turned around and walked out of your dorm.
Remus rolled his eyes and tried his best to not wake you up as he untangled himself from you and stood up from the bed. He kissed your forehead before he followed your brother.
“Is he gonna kill me?” he asked Regulus.
“We both know that you would win in a fight, Lupin” Regulus chuckled, following the werewolf out where Sirius was already pacing back and forth.
“What the fuck is this, Lupin?”
“Siri, calm down” Regulus said, rolling his eyes.
“No! You said you would stay and keep an eye on her. Not jump into bed with her!”
“I didn’t jump into bed with her, Padfoot!” Remus said, glaring at him. “I was keeping her company and I offered to read to her and she fell asleep” he explained.
“Oh, really? That’s it?” Sirius asked, crossing his arms in front of his chest.
“Y-yes” Remus said, looking away. Fuck.
“You’re lying!”
“Fine! We kissed” Remus admitted.
“You WHAT?!” Sirius snapped, trying to throw himself at Remus. “I’m gonna kill you-!”
“Alright, Sirius, that’s enough” Regulus said, pulling him back. “We both know you’re not going to kill Remus because a) he’s your best friend, b) if you do, I’m pretty sure our sister would kill you” he explained. “And c) Remus loves her and she loves him so stop with your bloody drama” he told his brother.
“They do not-” Sirius chuckled but then he noticed Remus blushing and looking away. “Wait… are you?” he asked. “You’re in love with her?”
“I am” Remus nodded. “I’m sorry I didn’t tell you. I didn’t want you to-”
“Overreact like he’s doing right now?” Regulus smirked, earning a glare from his older brother.
“Well… yes” Remus said while Sirius still glared at him. “Look, I know she’s your sister and you two love her more than anybody else. But so do I and I promise I would never hurt her” he said, truthfully.
“Come on, Siri. You have to admit, they’re kind of perfect for each other” Regulus said, trying to help Remus.
“Fine” Sirius said, rolling his eyes. “But no kissing in front of me” he said, pointing his finger at Remus.
“Fair enough” Remus chuckled, looking at Regulus. “Anything you’d like to add?”
“Not really. It was about bloody time” he said, patting him on the shoulder. “You know she honestly feels better whenever you’re around, right?”
“Thanks, mate” Remus smiled as Sirius rolled his eyes and the three of them walked back into the room.
“Hey” you said, sitting up and smiling at your brothers. “You guys are back” you yawned.
“Yeah, just in time to have a chat with your new boyfriend” Sirius smirked mockingly as he sat on your bed.
“Sirius!” both Remus and Regulus scowled at him.
“Are you upset?” you asked a little nervous.
The only one that had known about you being in love with Remus was Regulus. And you were dreading the day that Sirius would find out. Sirius glared at Remus as he sat down next to you and wrapped his arm around you. He wasn’t. He knew Regulus was right. And he had noticed for a while. And as much as he hated to admit it, he had seen how you felt better whenever Remus was around. And how he always felt better whenever you were around on the day after the full moon.
“No, princess” Sirius said, looking back at you. “I’m…” he sighed. “I’m really happy for you two” he admitted.
“Really?” you smiled a little brighter.
“Yes” he said, rolling his eyes. “But no kissing in front of me!” he repeated, making Regulus laugh. “And don’t think that because of this you’re coming on the full moons-”
“Yes, I second that” Remus said, raising his hand, making eye contact with Sirius, and making you roll your eyes a little.
“Fine” you told them. “But I get to be there the day after” you insisted.
“Only if you’re feeling well that day” Sirius told you.
“Deal” you said, shaking his hand. Remus pulled you closer, kissing your forehead as you smiled at your brothers. “So… what did you guys bring me from Hogsmeade?”
The End

How would the DR69 cast and the DR96 cast interact? (I imagine Latte would pamper Parappa like she does with Kaidou)
I’ll throw a few ideas into the pot:
Latte starts a whole class with the teens (aka Miku, Teto, Ayano, Ashely, Parappa, Saiki, Kaidou, Hiroshi, Natsuki and Yuri). It’s semi chaotic because Teto keeps getting distracted and Kaidou keeps asking Latte random questions (some of them encourage it so they do less work lol)
The musical trio (Miku, Teto and 2D) try to recruit Retsuko after hearing her heavy metal, but she keeps trying to refuse knowing what happened the last time she got roped into a band
Bojack and Peter butt heads 70% of the time. Brian G. tries to befriend Bojack and that works 40% of the time (I feel like Bojack can see through Brian’s sophisticated persona, unless Brian starts complementing his acting then it’s all jover for his critical thinking)
Ashely tries to avoid Brian P. just because of his talent (she does not want to be ‘hunted’). But after some explaining, she realises he has no ill intent. Sometimes Ashely will talk to Brian about witch stuff even though Brian actually doesn’t want to (or know what’s being said half the time), but he supposes he doesn’t mind it
Jesse and Sans and Nagito all get along just because they all have hoodies. That’s it that’s how easy it is to please Jesse. Anyway Jesse tries to offer them cigarettes and things start to fall apart (or not. Your choice)
Teto and Natsuki are BFFLs. Natsuki finds it funny when Teto rants about the others, but they find comfort when talking about embarrassing topics like people they’re into (cough cough wink wink)
I feel like The Conductor would try and cast Bojack in a production, but upon seeing how agonising it is to work with him, he reconsiders how he even got given Ultimate Actor
Fluttershy would try taking care of Retsuko and Bojack too, but they refuse 9 times out of 10 out of embarrassment. It’s alright tho because Fluttershy is also invited to bake with Mai 👍
In my opinion, Mario and Kurumada would be the type to fight once and then become best buddies afterwards
Parappa joins Kaidou’s team and the chaos is upped. Kaidou calls him the ‘brawler’ because he can do karate. And yes this is where Latte would pamper him
Kaidou is deathly afraid of Nagito. Saiki does not trust being within 10 feet of that guy either.
Ayano can sense something strange with Yuri, but can’t quite put her finger on it. Cut to Yuri who’s trying her best to keep calm as this other high school girl is staring at her from afar with the most chilling stare (and then cut to behind Ayano where L is also staring at her because he totally knows she has killed someone or two).
Ena keeps calling Luigi ‘the green man’ (as well as an assortment of other nicknames) and it’s really starting to confuse him.
You didn’t hear it from me guys but. Hayasaka definitely doesn’t try and befriend Hatsune Miku his favourite virtual idol. And also adopts her and all the teens from DR69 too. Nope nadda nope

‘’Can you be any more obsessed bro?’’
Pete whips his head over to Ned. He could barely hear him over the crowd of people in the cafeteria.
‘’What? I’m not obsessed what are you talking about?’’
‘’Hey, it’s fine I get it. She’s absolutely gorgeous.’’
‘’Tell me something new’’ Peter answers dreamily while his chin rests on his hand.
‘’You guys are weirdos.’’ MJ says out of nowhere
‘’Yeah, well you sit with weirdos.’’ Peter says back immediately.
It was silent for a few seconds.
‘’That sounded a lot less pathetic when I thought of it...’’
‘’Yeah that’s with most of what you say I think.’’ Ned answers
‘’Ned come on dude, you’re supposed to be on my side.’’
Too focused on the conversation Peter all of a sudden felt his peter ting-  Spider sense, sensing in a very weird way.
‘’Hey Peter.’’
There you were. The most beautiful, drop dead gorgeous, jaw dropping girl he had ever seen.
Ned shoved him to say something.
‘’H-hey Y-Y/n’’ You giggle at his stutter and he swears he is ascending into heaven hearing that sound.
‘’I was wondering if you could help me with the decathlon practice,  I don’t really know anyone on the team and you seem nice. And I’ve seen you in class you’re in incredibly smart. So could you help me?’’
This is a dream. It has to be, he thinks.
‘’If you don’t want to you can say so, it’s okay. ‘’ you say because of his silence.  A hint of disappointment in your voice
‘’No! I would love to!’’ Peter squeaked, immediately cringing at how he said it.
Ned and even MJ can’t help but chuckle a little, neither can you.
‘’Okay great! At your place after school today?’’
‘’Yeah, I’ll walk with you to my place if you don’t mind?’’
‘’That would be great! Thank you.’’
You walk away with a big smile and so does peter as he watches you until you’re out of frame.
- after school –
You walk up to Peter at the entrance of the school.
He feels you coming and turns around quickly, his cheeks already starting to blush                                                    at seeing how beautiful you look.
‘’Hey Pete! Ready to go?’’ if he wasn’t blushing already he sure as hell was now that you used a nickname for him.
‘’Yeah just follow me!’’
-After walking for a bit you arrived at his apartment-
As he allowed you to step in you immediately saw and smelled a cloud of smoke and a middle aged woman cooking…or at least trying to. As she turned around you made eye contact and her face immediately lit up.
‘’Peter! Who is this beautiful young lady?!’’
‘’May, this is Y/n, Y/n this is my aunt May.’’ He said happily finally getting to introduce you to his aunt who he has been ranting about you to.
‘’Hello miss Parker, it’s nice to meet you!’’
‘’It’s May to you sweetie and it is lovely meeting you! I’ve been waiting for this ever since peter couldn’t stop talking about you.’’
‘’She’s joking!’’ Peter says quickly
‘’I don’t talk about you at all! Well that’s not true, I don’t never mention you or pretend you don’t exist or something I just-‘’
Peter was cut off by your laugh, he wish he could have that his alarm in the morning. That would make him wake up and make sure he hears it again. (he means the waking up part in a good way)
‘’It’s okay Peter, if it makes you feel better I talk a lot about you too’’ You smirk.
Peter starts blushing like crazy as he clears his throat and says,
‘’So we’re gonna go study together in my room, if that’s okay?’’
‘’Yes of course, have fun…’’
You and Peter walk to his room and just before he closes his door you hear May say,
‘’But not too much fun!’’
‘’May! Really?!’’ Peter whines
‘’Sorry, I had to!’’
As you sit by Peters bed and he sits next to you, you finally start to realize what you’re gonna do.
You’ve been having this crush on Peter for a while now, you kept seeing him stare and somewhere along the way when he wasn’t staring at you, you would stare at him.                                                             You waited for him to do something but he just never did, just kept staring and never doing anything.
So one day when you had enough of the waiting you decided to form a plan.                                               You didn’t even need help for school, it was just a perfect plan to hang out with Peter and tell him how you feel. Though when you sat there, you couldn’t even think about actually doing it.
There were times while working you two looked into each other eyes and didn’t even say anything, it would feel like the time stopped and all that there was Peter and this feeling. This feeling. A feeling that is hard to describe but so pleasing.
A warmth in your chest, a smile that you can’t hide because it’s just so strong. Your heart going faster than ever and your hands shaking like crazy. Your brain could barely focus on anything other than his eyes.
‘’Y/n?’’ Peter says softly.
‘’Hm?’’ you hum also softly.
Then Peters body works faster than his brain and he just leans in. And you meet him halfway.
As your lips softly meet, the feeling is stronger than it’s ever been. As you depart you are both blushing insanely.
‘’Thank you.’’ Peter says
‘’Thank you?’’ You giggle
‘’For letting me kiss you! And not getting mad that I didn’t ask before.’’
‘’Peter, I wanted to kiss you and you gave me enough time to pull away, don’t worry.’’
‘’Really?!’’
You start to full on laugh now.
‘’Hey! Don’t laugh I was really nervous.’’
‘’I know, so was i!’’
‘’What! Why? I’m just Peter, a lonely nerd.’’
‘’You’re not lonely! You have Ned and MJ plus I like that your nerdy, I want a hot nerdy boyfriend!’’
You immediately regretted saying that.
‘’Not that I expected you to now immediately be my boyfriend! If you don’t want that then that’s fine.’’ You just wanted to disappear. (Like peter did in infinity way)
‘’I would actually…love to be your boyfriend…’’ Peter says softly
‘’Well then…’’ there was a silence which you expected to be awkward, but you just stared into each other eyes comfortably.
‘’Can I-‘’ He clears his throat before speaking again. ‘’Maybe kiss you again?’’
You giggle.
‘’We’re together now Pete, you don’t have to ask.’’ You laugh
And by that Peter (surprisingly easy to you) lifts you up a bit and makes sure you straddle him comfortably.
‘’Wow, who knew Peter had such mo-‘’ and before you could finish your lips were in a heated make out sesh with peters.
Just as he slips in his tongue into your mouth and he leaves a long groan, the door swings open.
And there stands a shocked and happy May.
‘’You got the girl!..’’ and quickly after that she says ‘’but I meant the not too much fun part not until your further into the relationship!’’
You laugh as Peter whines again ‘’May!’’

Rant about Peter Pettigrew and JK's Shit Writing
I hate how he is portrayed because, in my opinion, it just doesn't align with the backstory we have.
Let me preface, I am not a Golden Trio HP fan, but a Marauders fan. So, a lot of my takes and characterisations are heavily fanon-influenced, especially since a lot of the characters I write/read about we know very little of. To add, the characters we do see and interact with in the books are the grown, traumatised versions of themselves. Naturally, as adolescents, before the first war, Azkaban, the death of all their friends, the birth of their children, etcetera, they'd behave differently.
Onto Peter. Peter is one of the biggest cowards and lowlives in the HP universe. He's so heavily devoted to Voldemort despite being pissless-scared of him and doesn't hold a damn candlelight to nearly any of the characters in terms of bravery, strength, or the ability to hide his intentions and cowardice.
On that note, we're supposed to believe he managed to trick two of the smartest students at Hogwarts into changing him to Secret Keeper over Sirius or Remus, who we see as much more competent, brave, and intelligent as well as loyal? Really? That he'd managed to trick so many people into believing that Sirius betrayed them?
It would make more sense, then, to have Peter be a much more secretive, deceptive character. To be written with a backbone. (I read once that someone envisioned Peter to sort of be like Oliver from Saltburn. Mousy, quiet, but incredibly smart, sly, and manipulative.)
This is just one of my many gripes with JK Rowling's writing, though. If not for the nostalgia, or had I read Harry Potter at this age, I doubt I would've liked it as much. The world-building is poor, the characters' ambitions are screwed, and Harry, for some-fucking-reason, chooses to become a Wizard Cop despite all the atrocities he went through. He names his kid after SNAPE?! All because the man loved his mother? And then DUMBLEDORE?! Who is as awful, if not worse, of a villain than Voldemort.
It's a kid series, I understand, but I wish there were more consitencies with the characters.
Edit:
It's been so long since I read the series so I've been corrected. Again, I'm a Mauraders fan so I have a different perspective and analysis of the characters.
It was Sirius who made the decision to switch the Keeper to being Peter. Golden Trio fans see Peter as a character that just never resonated with the Marauders and used them as shields, but I find that narrative hard to believe simply because of where I am in the fandom.
I like how @fanfic-lover-girl explained it in their reblog.
I still don't like how he was written. I do think his appeal is in how weak he is, but I feel like that weakness only falls into cowardice. I think I'm also being hypercritical because I don't like JKR and the plot devices/holes.
Still agree with the sentiment of fuck JKR, though.

Character Headcanons: Jon Kent
@paladin-of-nerd-fandom65
1. He's a big Spider-Man fan and favorites Peter Parker. He has a lot of the comics, video games, all of the movies, and even has the action figures of Peter, Spider-Gwen, Miles, MJ, plus the Sinister Six and owns a Spider-Man hoodie and beanie too
2. He loves eating many ice cream flavors and likes adding many different toppings onto them
3. He has a big phobia of Peacocks and hates the fact that whenever he's at the Zoo, he has to end up facing them in person at some point, since they're always allowed to walk around the place freely. When he was really little, he would usually scream and cry if he saw them and would try to run or even fly away, causing both Lois and especially Clark to have to hold him down as best as they can and quickly go to a different path with him to get away. Now that he's older, he usually just cries to himself on the inside about it while having obvious panic on his face, gripping onto both of his parents hands or sleeves, and staying super close by their side safely, trying to walk fast out of there with them
4. His favorite flowers are Sunflowers. He loves how tall and beautifully lively they are
5. He isn't just taller than Damian, he's also like a giant standing next to other kids too, even his own brother Chris. Sometimes other kids are very surprised by this while others are a little afraid to mess with him because of it, even though he's obviously very friendly, which he usually tries to show them to reassure them that there's no need to be concerned
6. He loves singing while washing the dishes or making something to eat by himself, thinking he's all alone in the kitchen. Clark and Lois can always hear him though and always giggle and laugh together about it. They even have past recordings too of him doing this when he was too busy to actually notice them
7. He loves chocolate fudge cake with buttercream frosting
