“You came back,” Henry says, his voice soft with something like wonder. “Of course I did,” Alex replies. “We didn’t finish our conversation.” Henry ducks his head, blond hair falling alluringly over his forehead as his cheeks turn pink. The way their bodies mimic human physiology is astounding sometimes. “I suppose we didn’t. Would you care to walk with me in the gardens? It’s a lovely day.” “Can we do that?” “Ironically, you’re allowed so long as you have one of us with you, and I’m allowed so long as I’m with a guest,” Henry explains. “Plus, you’re a foreign dignitary. No one will bother us.” “Sure you wanna be seen with me? My sister would say I’m the furthest thing from dignified,” Alex says, grinning probably a little too broadly. Henry’s smile slants mischievous as he steps close enough for Alex to get a noseful of linen and fresh grass again. “Maybe I like that about you.”

Binary Light

In the sci-fi smash-hit movie Binary Light, Dev Creehil (played by Alex Claremont-Diaz) and Qindeli (played by Henry Fox) go from enemies to reluctant allies to friends. While a legion of on-line fans believe that arc should have included a ‘to lovers’ at the end, the behind the scenes truth is that the lead actors stayed firmly enemies to enemies throughout filming.

Fresh off a brutal breakup, Alex is back for the sequel and back to dealing with Henry—the asshole Hollywood nepo baby who has failed to conceal his disdain for Alex ever since their first chemistry read. In the script the shippers will finally be getting what they’ve always wanted, but, as some of Henry’s ice begins to thaw, what Alex wants has become decidedly more confusing.

I'm sharing another snippet from my untitled Berlin missing scene WIP! Y'all seemed really excited about this one, and I am, too.

When Alex finally pulls back, he brushes his thumb across Henry’s swollen bottom lip, pink and shining with spit. Henry presses a soft kiss to the tip before sucking it into his mouth, and their eyes quickly lock together. Henry’s pupils are wide and his breath is already becoming labored.

This, Alex thinks, is the sight he’s been dying to see. Something about the sight of picture-perfect, poised and polished Prince Henry losing composure always does it for Alex. When he gets this version of Henry, it feels like he’s been trusted with a tremendous secret.

Alex ducks his head forward and brings his lips to brush against Henry’s cheek. Maybe it’s a little bit too tender for what they are, but he doesn’t dwell on it, moving to press firm kisses along Henry’s chiseled jaw. Alex can’t help but smile against Henry’s skin when he hears a sharp intake of breath close to his ear.

“Feeling okay?” Alex asks with sincerity. He knows that Henry is enjoying this but is mindful of the vulnerable dynamic at play tonight. This isn’t only about the two of them feeling good. Alex wants to make sure Henry feels safe, too.
