You friend dropped you off yall did your goodbye kisses & hugs then you was finna put the key in the door but it swung open, a strong arm pulling you in then picking you up.

elisa groaned as she took your weight on top of her, rubbing her eyes and sitting up against the headboard to hold your back while you cuddled her awake.

"wake up!!! happy birthday babyyyy!!" you squealed, hugging her so tight that she was frozen in place. your head leaned off of her shoulder and you peppered her entire face with kisses, painting a rainbow of them and finishing with a loving kiss to her mouth as she laughed. she smiled against your lips, bringing her hands up to hold the sides of your ribs as your arms wrapped around her neck, caressing the skin lightly.

"thank you, mon cœur." she said, slightly more awake. you smirked at her, pushing out of her grasp to reach for the present you placed on the floor next to the bed.

"awh amour, did you get me something?" her arms came to rest behind her head, biceps on full display. you hummed happily in response and came back up, straddling her and quickly holding what you got her behind your back. she stroked strands of hair out of your face, watching you, amused. you beamed at her, pulling out the basket of gifts you got for her. elisa loved gifts, small ones especially, and you knew exactly what she wanted. she grabbed it eagerly, immediately noticing the small arrangement of flowers that were resting against one side. you laid down on her chest, head resting on her collarbone as she opened up the basket from the side. she let out dramatic gasps as she picked out each present...

one, an updated 1 year membership at her favourite gym in a platinum colour, embossed with her name.

she bit her lip and smiled at you, "babyyyyyyy." she cooed, feeling grateful as she realised you remembered her gym, and also how she always forgot to update the membership.

two, a 30x pack of her favourite chocolates, one you could only buy at the megamart 40 minutes away from your apartment. she thanked you and turned her head to face you, kissing your nose three times before going to open the next present.

three, a small light pink book labelled, "our love", that induced tears in her eyes when she flipped through it and found hundreds of polaroids of the two of you, reminding her of your best memories. she opened her mouth to speak, sniffling slightly. "chérie, this is so sweet. thank you baby."

you wiped her tears with your hand and kissed her again, giggling at her innocence.

"there's one more, opennn itt!" you said, sounding almost too excited, as if you didn't know what it was already. she took out the last item inside the basket, a red envelope. when she opened it she found a card, an image of the northern lights on the back, and it read:

she leaned into you at your sweet words but didn't say anything, slightly confused. she turned to you and raised her brows.

"you hope what will be magical, baby?" she asked, nudging you with her shoulder when she saw your grin. your eyes gestured to the card but when she looked back she stared back at you, even more confused. you laughed and sat up straddling her again, swiftly bringing two pieces of paper to her face from behind her pillow. she took one from your hands, scanning the text immediately, and your smile became impossibly wider as you watched her cover her mouth in shock, tears flooding back into her eyes.

• you accidentally fell on the way to your usual meet up spot where he’d wait for you so you guys could walk to school together.

• when he sees you walking up to him while dragging your other feet, his golly smile probably fades into a frown layered with a worried expression.

• rushes over to you and grabs your hand— checking your face for some reason even though you’re limping over to him..

• “are you okay? are you hurt? what happened?” his words can’t keep up with the thoughts in his mind as he squats down to check your injured leg.

• even though you try and insist that you’re fine, he’ll probably drag you (carefully) over to a nearby bench and sit you down, pointing a finger at you and telling you to wait with a stern voice even though you can clearly see the worry in his face.

• he takes about 5 minutes to come back with a plastic bag in his hands, jogging back over to you urgently.

• “what happened?” he asks while getting on one knee, inspecting your red ankle, a little scrapped and bloody.

• you sheepishly giggle, embarrassed, “i fell cause i forgot to tie my shoelace..”

• literally pauses and deadpans, lifting his head up slowly to look at you, “how many times have i reminded you to tie your shoes?”

• he cleans it up carefully, handling you with so much care and acting as if your leg was a glass piece— so fragile in his hands.

• he’d finish it off by bandaging your leg with a cute pink bandage, huffing when he’s done.

“sorry..” you mumbled, looking away a little guilty, hands balled up on your knees.

“it’s okay.” he sighed, sitting beside you, wrapping his arm around your shoulder, leaning down slightly to match eye level, “just stop forgetting to tie them.. you do this everytime..”

“okayyy but i realllyyy don’t mean to..” you whined, turning your head to look at him, pouting.

“awwwww babyyyy it’s okayyyy,” he mocked you mirroring your pout, pulling his arm away to cup your cheeks, squishing them in the process.

• he’d start laughing when the ball he had let go of previously bounced onto your back— making you flinch before resuming your position.

• he’d continue laughing, practically rolling on the floor, slapping it.

• with the teacher approval, he’d carry you on his back, giggling the whole way to the nurse’s office— up until he set you on the bed.

• even though he apologized you can still hear his laughter as he turns the corner of the hallway, far away from the office.

“4 months is too long. i cant wait any longer.” you hear shuffling on the other side of the phone. “i know suki, but absence makes the heart grow fonder.” you close your textbook and put it away.

you take a shower because you have to get up at 4 am because your flight is at 5:15 am. you were flying home because you had a whole week off of school. you didn’t let katsuki know because you wanted it to be a surprise.

you took a shower and did your skincare and then went to sleep. your alarm went off at 4 am and you groaned. you brushed your teeth and packed your bag. you put on a hoodie and some leggings and put on some uggs.

you left your house at 4:45 and got to the airport at 5:00. you didn’t need 20 years at the airport, but just enough time so you weren’t rushing around. you sat down on one of the seats by where you would be boarding.

after a long 15 minutes, they called you to board and you were one of the first on. you knew it was going to be a long flight. 14 hours to japan from california. you sighed as you put in your headphones and put on princess and the frog.

you got through about 45 minutes and fell asleep. you woke up and there was still 7 long hours of the flight. you groaned and started the movie from where you fell asleep from. you finished that movie and then put on good girls. you got through 1 season and you finally landed.

you stretched your legs and grabbed your stuff and got off of the plane. it was 7 pm in japan and you were jet lagged real bad. you just decided katsuki was more important and got your rental and drive to his house. you called him and the phone rung about 3 times.

Head Canons For Dante From Devil May Cry

I think about Dante way too much so I thought I would share my thoughts on some head canons of my own. Especially since the fandom for me gets so fucking dryyyyyyy Like please, I need more content or I'm going to spontaneously combust and not even in a hot and sexy way. I've watched the animated series at least 12 times and I've listened to all of the audio drama CD's. He's a big dork and his favorite thing to do is make his S/O laugh. Filling their soul with light is his favorite thing to do. teehee So he says the stupidest jokes to make them double over in laughter.

This is a bit of a double edged sword however since he uses humor and sarcasm as a major crutch / coping mechanism. He can be serious when the situation calls for it, but most of the time he doesn't want situations and mishaps to weigh on himself or those around him too heavily.

He's HELLA broke. So he'd take full advantage of free things to do like spending the night under the stars in a park after hours. Something that feels like "We aren't supposed to be out here!" but isn't really harmful / breaking the law.

I think he has some sort of collection of some sort. I think he collects seashells because they remind him of more serene times in his childhood. Probably hand sized conches or perhaps sand dollars (because its the only 'dollars' Lady cant swindle out of him ;u;)

Will die on the hill of pizza being a "balanced meal" insisting that it has all the important food groups therefore pizza is healthier than media wants people to think.

Despite his habits of leaving his pizza boxes about and letting Patty clean up after him- his own personal hygiene is actually really important to him. He always makes sure to take a shower after he gets back from every mission.

He honestly cant stand the scent of demon blood on him, it makes him a little anxious because it takes him back to the night of the fire / attack every time. (babyyyy boyyyyyyyyyyyy)

His love language is physical touch (giving) and acts of service (receiving). When he gets more comfortable with you, he's got some part of him touching you at all times: a thigh pressed against yours, a gentle hand around your shoulders or the small of your back, insistent on you laying on his shoulder or in his lap if you're tired. He'll be super appreciative of you organizing things when his mind gets too jumbled or he's just brooding.

I'm sick of people calling him lazy. I don't think he doesn't clean up because he doesn't want to- I think he's just overwhelmed most of the time / overstimulated to do anything if he's not in battle.

I strongly feel like he has some sort of ADHD, Depression and CPTSD due to his trauma. (Losing / killing his brother several times, his mother being killed, his father up and disappearing one day, losing his found family repeatedly: Grue, Nell, Jessica... etc)

He'd probably be super understanding of a neurodivergent s/o and be more than happy to "parallel play" in the shop. He reads his magazines on the couch with you while you read a book. Or he'll try to get some semblance of work done at his desk on the occasion while you watch your favorite tv show.

- He would love his brother till the day he died and hopefully Sirius would know this.

- “Okay… now can we go inside? It's cold out.” James closed his eyes as he just sat on Regulus’ lap

“James. It's only -5 out what are you on? The answer is no we’re staying out here for a bit longer.”

“But babyyyy.”

“The answer. Is. No.”

- “Babe they're blankets for Merlin's sake, how can you be jealous of blankets but not Barty making out with me at a party?” Regulus asked astounded

- He knew James had been his secret that he would hold so dearly and so close to his heart that not even the strongest man could pry it away from his cold dying hands.

- They stood there with teary eyes until Regulus giggled shallowly and kissed James slowly.

**I'm gonna focus on episode titles "The return", "identity crisis" and "Point of no return" so here we go!**

I was rewatching the bad batch s3 trailer when I noticed a few things, more notably the background here:

That's Pabu, note the large mountain- but how could the empire find it? It's simple. They didn't. Episode 5: The return hints that we see an old friend or enemy, my guess is that it's tech. Hemlock saying that the goggles were all he could salvage must have been a lie. He **stole** Tech's body and has done something to it, leading to his "identity crisis" (episode 10). Back to talking about Pabu though- How did they find it? Tech did. Tech's brain is being used similar to that of Echo's for information, but with the host body (Tech) being used by a false identity forged by Hemlock as an experiment. This is why he's past the "Point of no return", he's trapped inside his mind like a virus that's taken hostage of the body; he's stuck and he needs CF99 to set him free again. I've seen people say that the person in the front is Crosshair, but he's being held captive on whatsitcalled so it can't be him.

Okay, so I've been thinking---what if the "treasure" that they're supposed to be finding, is this coffee shop itself???

It is a "Hidden Gem," after all....

You know how, when the thief first showed up, he said that most people couldn't recognize what a true treasure is? I think that can apply to this coffee shop; it isn't super well known, and because it hasn't been getting as much business lately, its true worth isn't being recognized.

So, what if this Phantom Thief guy (who might be a yokai and thus have known about this coffee shop for a while) put together this whole game to bring attention to this place, so it will get more business again, and the old guy running the place will find a decent apprentice?

Idk, just a theory. We'll see if it's completely wrong or not.

Just saw your chapter titles on instagram. LOVE. Which was the easiest to name? Which was the most difficult? Do you have a favorite? Does it coincide with your favorite chapter?

thank god someone finally asked me about the chapter titles, i’m erecting the Church of Our Lady She Gets It in your honor as soon as i’m done talking A Lot about this

easiest:

(8) “anatomy of a porn title” came to me before i even had the concept of this book. milo’s experiences working at the store are almost 100% my own, and one of my most memorable days was when i had to process 200+ dvds (this involved a lot of scanning, stickers, and organization). so i’d had this one in my back pocket for a while.

when i finally had a grasp on the story i wanted to tell around my personal sex shop chronicles, (1) “a crisis of sexual identity” was the easy-breeziest chapter title, because it captured the Point i wanted to make.

writing a demisexual romance, even being demi myself, is… not super easy? especially because i wanted to play with the idea of love at first sight, which is so often conflated with lust, and that just doesn’t work the same when you’re on the asexual spectrum.

so much of this book is about being queer and how our labels, however liberating, can also be suffocating, because—particularly in the age of social media expectations—we become so preoccupied with being queer The Right Way. and there is no goddamn Right Way, but we’re pressured into these kinds of performances, and then before you know it your priority is appeasing some dickweed on the internet who says m/f relationships can’t be queer, instead of your own happiness.

so, we start with milo’s crisis and we follow him through the journey of realizing that, hey, actually, this ain’t so bad.

hardest:

(4) “sick of dating apps, just gonna pygmalion myself a boyfriend” and (9) “the epic highs and lows of grocery store music” both went through several iterations, none of which i can remember now because mostly they were Fine, but they just didn’t pop.

when i landed on (4)’s, honestly i was a little miffed at myself for taking so long because that’s a phrase i made up and use a lot, so i should’ve had the chapter title from the get-go.

stevie’s story starts off with agitation with her dating app experience, which she worries is coloring her first impression of milo because he was nice to her and easy to talk to in ways that app matches aren’t—and then, BAM, he shows up to the bar where she’s sitting there thinking about him and proves her first impression right, as if she manifested him into existence.

now if only i could do the same thing for myself… that’s the dream, babyyyy.

favorite title vs favorite chapter:

i think both have to be (5) “how many degrees of separation are there between kevin bacon and your love life?”

there are several sociological concepts that have stuck with me since college (probably because the head of the department, who was the best dude but also the most notoriously ruthless grader, wanted me to major in soc, and i’m a sucker for a compliment). “six degrees of separation”—the idea that every person is connected to every person through no more than six other people—has a celebrity counterpart, “six degrees of kevin bacon,” which posits that you can trace every actor to kevin bacon.

i am a little bit obsessed with this, because the separation/kevin bacon rhyme alone is so deliciously SERENDIPITOUS, it blows my mind.

for milo and stevie, (5) is the moment where they realize the friends they’ve had in common for ~2 years, and it’s really only been timing that’s kept them from meeting until now (and the timing was a little tricky for me to sort out, too, but i’m happy with how i got there).

sometimes you just keep missing people until it’s Meant for you to run into each other, and i think there’s something deeply romantic about those prior missed connections. there’s a sense of “i could have been loving you longer, but maybe, this way, i get to love you better.”

and, even though milo doesn’t Love stevie yet at this point in the story, his pov in this chapter is circling this conclusion.

I need all of you to be a bit more obvious if you want me to write smut because I can't take hints. So, this is a fluff drabble... I hope this is what you wanted. If not, leave another ask and I'll deliver. :)

Attention - &Team Nicholas

Synopsis: You are watching a movie with your boyfriend but end up in a bit of a situation.

Warnings: fluff, attention whore Nicholas, afab reader, hints of smut but not really. I guess it's sort of like 16+ but don't expect too much. I really don't know how to explain this.

It is one of the only times you get the dorms to yourself. The boys are mainly all out for the day, visiting Lotte World together. You and Nicholas decided to stay home, finally getting a bit of time together and since both of you are too lazy to go out, you settled for a movie.

While everyone else had already watched Spiderman No Way Home, you hadn't. You were always busy but now, nothing was stopping you from seeing the three spiderman's come together on the screen. Well, one thing is stopping you.

"I have seen this seven times already." Nicholas groans, sitting back. It wasn't the first time he had been complaining during the 30 minutes the movie had been going on for. He has been working your system constantly.

"Well, I haven't." You reply, reaching for more popcorn. Nicholas decided to be a bit more patient seeing as you had wanted to watch this movie ever since it came out in theaters a year ago. But he just couldn't.

"Baby." He says softly, looking at you. Your attention is completely on the screen, so absorbed in the story already. "Baaaabyyyyy." He drags out dramatically but you don't budge. As if you don't even hear him. He leans a little closer and starts poking you with every word he says. "Baby, baby, baby, baby, baby--"

"Stop it, Nicholas." You reply, pushing his hands away. Your boyfriend sits back with his arms crossed over his chest and a big pout on his lips and you don't even spare him a glance. He's moody. Very moody. How dare you to ignore your precious, hard-working, amazingly talented, handsome boyfriend? He thinks.

"I know you love Spiderman but... I thought you'd love me more." He mumbles. He figures, if he plays this well enough, you would feel bad and give him all the attention in the world.

"Hey, if Peter Parker decides to show up at my front door one day, I'd definitely go with him." Well, that wasn't the answer he was expecting.

"WHAT?!" Nicholas shouts, you shush him, continuing to pay attention to the movie. "What do you mean you'd leave me? Don't you know how many girls would kill to be with me and you're not even in love with me anymore."

"Who said I'm not in love? I love you more than anything, you know that." You reply, matter-of-factly.

"I'm starting to doubt that right now." Nicholas mutters to himself while continuing to pout. Not even five minutes pass before he starts trashing. "BABYYYY!"

"Nico, please." You reply annoyed. A sudden smirk appears on his face. You had just given him the perfect idea. You will beg for him later... he's sure of it. After being together for 5 months, he definitely knows your body enough to make you aching for him with just some 'innocent' touches.

The movie goes on, you gasp when Andrew Garfield appears on the screen. You knew he's be in it but you're still so overwhelmed. Nicholas takes this oportunity to scoot a little closer to you, wrapping an arm around your waist. You figure he's finally over it and just wants to cuddle, oh how wrong you are.

When Tobey appears, you scream. A literal fan-girl scream. Again, Nicholas smirks. He can make you scream much louder in many different ways. His 'innocent' hand on your waist moves down a little, drawing figures on your clothed hips with his fingers. You cuddle into him more, not thinking anything of his touches until you feel his hand inch closer to your core.

His fingers start drawing figures on your thighs, and suddenly you're incapable of focusing on the movie and you become aware of the arousal that's building up inside of you and starts showing through your panties.

You know what he is doing but you won't let him win that easily. You waited a year to watch this movie, you're gonna finish it too. You look at the screen, trying your best to pay attention when you feel Nicholas' fingers brush your clothed clit for only a brief moment. You gasp softly, body tensing as your desire to want more grows.

"What's wrong, baby?" Nicholas asks innocently as if he isn't the one distracting you majorly right now. He leans closer, his lips right next to your ear. "You wanted to watch the movie, so keep watching it." And just like that, all his touches disappear and he sits back in the spot he sat before. You stare at him dumbfounded.

"Nico--"

"Just watch the movie, baby." He smirks as he says it, knowing what he has done. "Just watch the movie."

I have been making this breakfast sandwich once a weekend for like... 5 weeks now? It's REALLY good! Read below for my BDG breakfast sandwich tips ✨

First things first, all of the ingredients for this freeze and thaw really well so if you're worried about buying like a bunch of sausage and not getting enough use out of it just cut patties and throw it in the freezer :) I've been keeping the buns, sausage, and bacon in the freezer and then thawing what I need the night before I plan to make it (the frozen hash browns just go straight in the pan, the bacon could too but I'd recommend thawing the sausage). The official ingredients list is:

Buns

Sausage

Bacon

Egg

Frozen hash browns

Cheese

Ketchup

⚠️ INGREDIENTS ALERT ⚠️: There's quite a bit here and you can use less sausage and hash browns especially than you think you might need. This sandwich is quite heavy for me so I think less can be more for this one. Of course this varies person to person so measure with your heart 🫶

I don't have a nice long flat pan like BDG has in his vid, but I managed just fine with a standard nonstick skillet and had my smaller skillet on another burner be the "warming zone". I can confirm that after a few times this sandwich only takes about 30 min to put together (even for two people) + clean up. Just start with the bacon and sausage to get the juices flowing, then throw down the hash browns and finish off with the egg and toasting the bread.

HASH BROWN TIPS: Easily the hardest part of this is getting the hash browns correct so here is some advice:

Get em in the pan early and let them sit. They will take the longest out of all the items if you want to get em real crispy since you're probably taking them straight from the freezer

DON'T MESS WITH THEM. LET THEM SIT. Even with this advice though I had a hard time getting them to stick together in a patty (maybe it's the brand I'm using? 🤔) so...

If you're having trouble getting them to stay together, use a bit of egg or melt cheese on top to force them to stick :)

If they do end up falling apart, you can still use them on the sandwich: put the ketchup on the bottom bun as glue and sprinkle your hash browns on top and they won't fall off the sandwich, then top with the other ingredients.

My personal modifications: The best part of cooking is doing whatever you want so here's my personal shake ups:

Pepper jack cheese cause it's the best cheese

I don't scramble my eggs cause I love a runny yolk - the technique to still getting a "patty" out of the egg is to have the pan real hot then crack it at the edge of the pan and carefully flip it over itself so you cook the whites around the yolk, tilting the pan and using the wall to help maneuver the egg. Yes this results in a far messier sandwich. No I don't care.

PEPPER!!! Crank that shit babyyyy (for context I have a pepper grinder)

Genuinely don't remember if BDG does this in his vid but I like to toast both sides of the bun and kinda squish it down a bit. Due to the egg this has the potential to be a tall sandwich so this helps reduce the height

Overall an excellent breakfast sandwich to me as someone who is a breakfast sandwich connoisseur. I was skeptical about the hash browns and ketchup but they really do add some good flavor to the sandwich. I recommend making it once or twice matching BDG's recipe before getting silly with it (I think it's important to start from the beginning if you can to learn what YOU think works and what doesn't before making a bunch of changes. I would not have used ketchup if the recipe didn't call for it but it's a great addition and I always use it now). I think he also has some great tips - the one about letting the sausage patty cook a bunch on one side, then flipping and using the crispy to flatten it out is so genius. I ❤️ lazy cooking

FUTURE RESEARCH: I have some ideas for what to do next with my sandwiches personally. I'm looking forward to trying these and you should like this post if you want to hear about my future endeavors:

Using cheap croissants as the bread. I love cheap crappy croissants, they're SO GOOD on breakfast sandwiches so I need to try them here

Removing the bacon or sausage. Like I mentioned, I think this is a pretty heavy sandwich and I don't think both are needed (though they are REALLY good). I might get just as much enjoyment without both personally

Adding avocado. I love avocado + bacon + egg sandwiches so this would be perfect for me personally with the has browns

I should possibly try thawing some hash browns to see if they stick together better when thawed first...

(unrelated to the sandwich) I now have a massive bag of hash browns in my freezer cause these don't come in small amounts. I've personally never been a big hash brown person... but making them real thin and crispy for this sandwich has opened a new door for me. I will be cooking them more to see what else I can do with em
