Hello! I saw your Jason Todd x reader post and think it’s really cute! 🥰🥰🥰 Does that mean you’re taking requests for the batfam, too? If so, then which characters are you writing for?

I'm glad you ask. It happens that I wanted to try to write for DC, but I did not know which character started, and i was deciding between Jason and Superman (Lmao).

Jason's two publications were an experiment to see if I managed to capture the character's essence (And also to see if people liked how I wrote the character, which is why the posts are always from Jason's pov).

And obviously see if I felt comfortable writing for the DC fandom (since I am still new worldwide of "writing", but it happens that I am enjoying it a lot). But, I'm happy that you like Jason's publications!.

And since many liked the writing I made, I suppose I will continue writing. As for characters I will write… I will publish the DC masterlist very soon to keep you aware.

I am very excited to continue writing for this fandom!, and believe me I have many plans and ideas of future deliveries. For now I will start with Batfamily, then with something simple with Superman, and maybe I will write in the future for Wonder Woman…

You stop the car in front of the manor, but before they could escape the vehicle. You look the doors.

"Dick. Jason, Tim, Damion..." You start.

"Uh-huh, a villian scolding, US..." Jason mutters sarcastically, Damion scowls.

"You have no authority to talk down at us." The young assassin remarks coldly.

You stare the rear view mirror to see Tim and Dicks unsure reactions.

"Your good at what you do."

You say, eyes narrowed and face cold. "You know what your all capable of and that's a good thing. You choose to fight, to protect."

"I choose to kill. I get that you don't want some, villain... To give you, some, "super hero" speech. But I'm not. Nor am I gonna scold you for your job. Just, please, for your father. Be safe, I know you want to protect him and the city. But BRUCE, he'll do anything, for all of you, to be safe."

The teens and adults don't meet your knowing eyes. You chuckle as the vigilantes shoot you quizzical glances.

"I gave up being a villain for him, I'll become a super-hero for him if that is to be needed." You say with a mirthful tone. Damion tsked at you as Dick muffled his giggling.

"Don't you mean to say "vigilante"?" Tim said with a playful tone.

"Sure. If you'd like. If it means protecting you birdies, I'm all in."

After Bruce came home, he was exhausted. He greeted Alfred kindly as the butler informed him of the dinner he missed with his lover and children. Sadden at missing at such a opportunity, his blue eyes lose a bit his sparkle as he thanked the older man.

Trudging up the stairs, he passes by his childrens doors. A weight feels lifted of his shoulders when realizing that they are safe and in bed. They're home.

Once reaching inside his room, the rich man's stomach insides became mush once he stepped in through the bedroom door.

They're you sat on your shared bed, reading over a book as his sons flock to your side. You coo at a few pictures inside the book Dick noticed his father's presence. Welcoming him in as big dopey grin crawls on your face.

The boys say goodnight to their father as they speed off to their rooms. Bruce approached you, sitting next to you quietly as he looks at what you were reading.

A grin forms over his face at the pictures. A small scrapbook of you and his sons rested in your hands.

With the choker clasped in place, one of Bruce’s hands traces up and down your neck while the other rests heavily on your hip, holding you flush against his chest. His touch is hypnotic, pulling you in like a planet pulls a moon into orbit. Your whole world revolves around him—and that’s exactly how he likes it.

Dick’s on his knees, head buried between your legs when you hear—feel—him say, “I need you to take a week off work.”

Well. What he really needs is for you to just quit your job already, but you got upset the last time he suggested it. Baby steps. For now.

“Why?” you gasp, blinking hard as you try to focus on the fact that he’s starting a conversation now when his tongue is making you smart and shake with pleasure.

“I want to go to the Maldives,” he says as if it’s the most inconsequential thing in the world, as if he’s saying he wants to go across town, not across the world.

“I’m not you,” he fires back. His voice is still low, still calm, but you can sense an edge in his tone; this conversation is about a lot more than boxed macaroni and cheese.

In the beat of silence that follows, his heated gaze dulls to a smolder. “You don’t know how precious you are.”

You open your mouth to reply, but whatever retort you were going to argue back with is silenced when Jason’s big hands cup your face, tilting your head up so he can kiss your forehead. He lingers there, and you feel him tremble. His breath is ragged, rough—as if he’s afraid.

“I’m not you,” he repeats in a whisper. It’s like he’s talking to a child, like he knows you don’t know any better. Poor little you—you need him. “Just let me take care of you like always, okay? How about I sign you up for one of those meal prep kits? No more processed food; it’s not good for you.”

When he pulls you against his chest and strokes your hair, you feel yourself nod, unable to disagree. You know he’s right, after all; and isn’t it sweet that he treats you like a delicate angel even though he’s seen the worst of the world? That nothing without his stamp of approval is good enough for you?

TIM DRAKE 💋

“Oh, you’re all set,” your manicurist smiles at you as soon as you take out your wallet, nails freshly done.

Caught off guard, all you can reply with is, “Huh?”

She just smiles a little brighter, and there’s a sparkle of something in her eyes. It looks a little wistful, but also a little vapid—is that jealousy? “Your boyfriend paid already,” she explains as her eyes not-so-subtly look around, trying to catch a glimpse of said boyfriend, but you’re just as surprised as she is.

“For the next year,” she adds in a dry tone. Slowly, you drop your wallet back into your purse. There’s only one man alive who could figure out where you get your nails done, what day and time you like your appointments, and call ahead to pay off your manicures for the next year without you ever finding out about it.

So when you get back to your car, you call him.

“Do anything fun today?” he asks over the phone, pretending to be way more innocent than he actually is.

“Tim—”

“Actually,” he cuts in, and you hear a bashful tremor in his voice. That tremor makes your stomach do flips, which beckons you to give in to whatever he wants. “I was just thinking about you. You’ve got the prettiest hands.”

“Tim—”

“Let’s go shopping later,” he rambles on, completely ignoring you. “I think you need some new jewelry. You’d like a new set of rings, wouldn’t you?”

Tim Burton’s Batman

Batman (1989) - played by Micheal Keaton

Batman Returns (1992) - played by Michael Keaton

The originals; beloved and nostalgic for a lot of people. Took Batman from kinda goofy and kiddish in the media, put some darker tones on screen. A little basic thematically and cinematically by today’s standards and doesn’t follow now well-know parts of the character - batman kills in these movies for instance. Still iconic soundtrack by Prince.

Joel Schumacher’s (RIP🙏🏾) Batman

Batman Forever (1995) - played by Val Kilmer

Batman and Robin (1997) - played by George Clooney

While technically, in the same universe, as the Tim Burton movies, after Batman Returns, was criticized for being too dark for child audiences of the time, Joel Schumacher was bought in. And with a very gay 80s director, came Batman movies that were universally panned for being overblown, camp, and childish. They still get clowned and memed on today, but they’re cult classics now though thanks to some pretty popular, YouTube reviews that reveal a lot about their story and production history - Batman Forever is my favorite of all of them. Also, great theme song: Kiss from a Rose by Seal.

Christopher Nolan’s Batman

Batman Begins (2005) - played by Christian Bale

The Dark Knight (2008) - played by Christian Bale

The Dark Knight Rises (2012) - played by Christian Bale

The big ones. The Nolan Trilogy. Definitely the most popular. Brought the character back from its then camp and admonished reputation by making it a lot darker, a lot grittier and a lot more realistic. Being the first Batman to use digital cameras and having an Academy Award winning performance by the late great Heath Ledger as the Joker made these movies insanely loved. If you weren’t there, I can’t even explain to you how big they were.

Zack Snyder’s Batman (aka DCEU)

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Suicide Squad (2016), Justice League (2017), Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021), The Flash (2023)

all played by Ben Affleck

Matt Reeves’ Batman

The Batman (2022) - played by Robert Pattinson

The most recent, incredibly critically acclaimed, the first good Batman in a decade. My second favorite of all of them. Somehow, even darker, grittier and more realistic than the Nolan trilogy.

Kevin Conroy’s Batman

The actor responsible for voice acting Batman in basically every piece of animation from the 90s to about the 2010s. Beloved by all, may he rest in peace.

Adam West’s Batman

The campy 60s show. It’s silly, but it still has the best Catwoman and the scene where Adam West has to play Bruce Wayne calling Batman on the phone is criminally good acting. Again, rest in peace.

Anywho, next ones...

Oooh, Runaway. This one got to explore Tim and Damian's brother dynamic, but if they got off to a better start. It's also badass motherfucking coffee addicted best big bro Tim (a great version) and smol fight bean so tired just wants to be fucking loved lil bro Damian (also a great version). With a teensy bit of sappy batdad. Only thing I don't like as much is the version of Talia, but it's lowkey needed for the plot so I'll let myself off the hook.

If you ever fall down. This one is actually. Like, it's fair. I'd say it's well-written. But what I take the most pride in is how I was able to rewrite the ending so as to have two options, one with a lowkey Sladick, the other with Jason and Dick Big Bro Teamup. Honestly there's little difference between the versions, but still. I ventured a little beyond my comfort zone, and I'm proud of that.

Bane. Yeah, this one's controversial. Still, I spent SO MUCH BRAINPOWER doing inception levels of theory of mind and like good God... I'm incredibly proud of how I was able to do that, and how I was able to build up the tension and keep people guessing until the end. Maybe that makes me mean. Ah, well, a friend and I are working on a sequel, so it'll turn out fine... after lots more agony. Oops.

A Wretch Like Me. This one... all my Rev Wayne stories have given me Religious Feels but there's something incredibly personal about this one, because when Jason and Bruce talk at the end, it echoes so many times that I talked with my Pastor H about things. I'd like to think he'd be proud of what I wrote, despite it being fanfic. I also published this one on Palm Sunday, so the sacrifice theme was vivid, and it might be the closest I've come to... Understanding passion week.
