Y'all have days when you hit the rock bottom and have a realisation that everything you ever did to get that one thing done nicely is now all over. You gave your best, you put your heart into it, but at the end nothing came out of it. All the efforts vanished away in a few seconds and all you could do was just stare at nothingness thinking what else you could've done to make things a little nicer, a little easier, a little better to go through.
I hardly know how to get back up from that point somehow, but I always do. It's like holding onto no hopes but still looking forward to something. Maybe. I wish. I hope. I want to hope.

That ear-to-ear smile which covers up your face is the outcome of someone else's hearty laugh, your daily prayers sent to the heaven above has one name that is imprinted permanently, every single joke among your friends is just you being teased upon something, every discussion of “what's that one wish you have?” makes your mind wander off to the same check point. And you know what's beautiful? I didn't refer to any particular person out here but you already have one on your mind!
That's Love, the beauty of Love! ❤️‍🩹

Thewizardliz sayings to remember and repeat
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's about you; you are the main character of your life.
Sometimes you need to get uncomfortable to get comfortable.
People who get angry at you for putting yourself first are the same people who benefit from you putting yourself last
You are allowed to say, "Nah, that's not good enough."
Stop wasting energy that you can use to become your best version.
Becoming selfish is the best thing I ever did.
I can make myself fulfilled, and whatever he gives me is just an extra.
Start now with what you have.
Enough crying, enough being sad, enough saying "tomorrow".
Sometimes you lose people that are not meant to be with the highest version of yourself, and you have to let those people go.
You vs. you, honey.
Some people just don't deserve you. Not mentally, physically or spiritually.
I don't argue with people because most of them are stupid.
People don't really care what happened to you or what you went through. They really care about what you can do for them.
Only here to impress myself.
When a Queen does not like her situation, she plans her exit.
Manifesting is a lifestyle.
The best revenge is creating a better life for yourself.
I started prioritising my own needs and wants; whatever I want goes first. That's it; I do not care anymore.
I could honestly go on forever since Liz has so many great things to say, so let me know in the comments if I should make a part 2! <3

“When I say, I love you, it’s not because I want you or because I can’t have you. It has nothing to do with me. I love what you are, what you do, how you try. I’ve seen your kindness and your strength. I’ve seen the best and the worst of you. And I understand with perfect clarity exactly what you are.”

Don't ever shy away from looking back to the days where you felt everything collapsing around you, breaking into pieces, creating a mess so immense that even that little thought in the back of your head about “things will get better soon” was like a nightmare come true. It was scary. Dark. Secluded. You were gripping onto your soft duvets as tightly as you could cause it felt like you were falling — falling into a deep pitch black pit, from where it was impossible to come out. And to not let the outer world hear the storm you faced in the corners of your room, you smiled. Even today, you've absolutely no idea how you were able to lift up those crevices of your face, with that aching pain in your heart to give off that beautiful smile of yours.
As much as you hate getting flashbacks of the cold nights you had spent even in the warmest of blankets, it's important. It gives you the enormous realisation of how far you came, from those dreadful moments of ending it all to this day where — You're breathing. You're alive. You're better. You're trying.
It's okay to think “what if I fall?”
Oh, but “darling, what if you fly?”

In the “men” of my life, I've seen standards being raised ; matching up to the ones that other girls label as “book boyfriends” ~
Part 1 ::
Every time I fall asleep with the lights on, or even the fan on at a speed higher than what is apt for the weather for me, I wake up the next morning with a blanket on, with the fan slightly slow and lights off. And I just know instantly, my dad walked in the room last night, altered the intensity of the fan, switched off the lights and looked at me peacefully sleeping. I can imagine his eyes easing up a bit, him quietly walking out of the room so as to not wake me up from the light-but-desperate-sleep I needed.
What's more of a special feeling than having someone who wants you to have the rest you deserve, who cares for you enough to not make the noise of walking steps so that he doesn't wake you up, someone who doesn't want you to get cold cause you slept without a duvet. What's more unconditional? What more ‘standards’ do they need to climb up to match your bare minimum?
Look around girls, every guy in your life is special and important in their own way. There are some who make it tough and unsafe out there for you, but there are some who make it all worth the effort, who bring the sunlight all just for you! ❤️‍🩹

That one trio of
“I-dont-give-a-fck-about-you-but-if-you-hurt-my-friends-you-are-dead-literally” person
With
The one who gets bullied the most but has “I-love-them-like-anything-and-I-would-literally-kill-the-one-who-gets-in-between-us” attitude
And the third one being like ::
“It's-just-them-and-my-day-is-made-like-I'm-raising-crazy-dumb-kids-but-they-are-all-mine”
IS ELITE. And nothing will ever beat their inside jokes and crazy stupid fun they have.
