a long, canon compliant marauders fic where year 1-3 (or 2) are in remus’ perspective (from the beginning of their friendship until the other three boys find out he’s a werewolf), year 4-5 are in sirius’ perspective (running away from his family, the prank), year 6-7 are in james’ (the aftermath of the prank, how he matured, his relationship with regulus and then lily)
and finally the war years, in peter’s perspective, where it’s finally explored the reason behind his betrayal, the peak of a change that had started years before but that we (and the other boys) didn’t notice.

Another reason is that its so easy to get into the different stories since we already know so much. We don’t need to figure out the character’s personality or looks or relationships or world, as we already know it, therefore its so much easier to be enveloped in the story!
All of us want to read “books that are different from the books we like but also exactly like it” and that’s why we have fanfictions. That’s why we love fanfictions. It is literally the book we love but in a different font.

regulus isn't dead. he's an inferius, not quite human. cursed to live forever as one of the things that destroyed him.
barty isn't dead. he was given the dementor's kiss, which means his soul is gone but the rest of him is still living. he'll never make it to the afterlife.
dorcas is dead. she's in the afterlife, but she'll never forgive her friends for taking the wrong side in the war. she'll do her best to stop loving them.
pandora and evan are dead. they're in the afterlife together, but also alone, just like before hogwarts. and they're waiting. waiting for their family to come back to them. they never will.

I need help finding a fic!
Its Gigolas, modern AU.
