Astro Observations #1

Notes: this is my first attempt with astro observations and I remember that even if I'm talking about individual placements, obviously you always have to consider the entire natal chart. I really hope you like this first experiment 🙌

🌌 I've noticed that people with Venus in Libra tend to be more materialistic in expressing their affection. They can often give gifts, or in any case give something on a material level to the person they love, instead of throwing themselves into an intimate or emotional / physical contact (it also depends on the moon) they prefer to give something away.

🌙 I find that people with a Libra moon often think about relationships or often fantasize about someone in particular or even more people, more than they would like.

🌫 If there are negative aspects between Saturn and Neptune in your natal chart (especially the square and the opposition) you could be in a strange or nebulous relationship with the father figure. Your father may have often been absent or unreachable both physically and psychologically or communicatively when you were a child especially. Or it could also be an individual you feel you never fully understood, he could be engaging in behaviors that you don't understand.

🌅 The natal sun in water houses adds a layer of uncertainty but depth to personality and ego. For example with the sun in the 8th house in a fire sign we will see a more hidden ego, as if it takes longer to recognize and see a person's true nature, the fire may not go straight to the face.

☄️having Mars in conjunction with Venus in the birth chart can lead (with other aspects of tension above all) to having a hate and love relationship with the zodiac sign of this conjunction. For example I have this aspect with Venus and Mars in Cancer and I tend to have this type of relationship with this sign (obviously omitting the rest of the birth chart of the people in question), it's like a swing, at certain moments I feel a peak of sympathy and in others a sense of dislike, as if there is something inherent in the characteristics of the people with this sign behavior.

🌑People with various scorpio placements (especially mercury in scorpio or mercury and mars in scorpio) are inclined to talk even with strangers about heavy topics. What might be taboo for many becomes normal topics for them, and sometimes people look at them as if they've dropped a bomb all of a sudden.

Moon in Taurus

During this Venus Retrograde in Leo, we’re exploring and reviewing old patterns and narratives we’ve had around love and worthiness.

On a collective/interpersonal level:

Are we being honest with ourselves about what we really desire and value? Do we feel like the relationships in our lives are in alignment with who we are now and where we’re going next? Do we see others as inherently worthy of love? Do we see the value and beauty of being authentically oneself? Do we dim our own light or keep others from shining?

On an individual level:

Am I being honest with myself about what I really desire and value? Do I feel like the relationships in my life are in alignment with who I am and where I see myself going next? Do I feel worthy of the love? Do I give/show myself the same level of love I give to others? Do I see my own value? Do I feel worthy of all my dreams and desires?

I choose to put Mr. Rogers in the limelight as a Vessel of love because of how brightly he shined the message of, not only love for others but love for self. It’s a message that the world needs a reminder of as we’re in a time of editing our narratives and behaviors to propel us forward in a deeper energy of love and alignment…on a personal level and as a collective.

Our energy ripples out into the world and impacts, guides, directs, empowers, and inspires. I want to radiate a deeper more aligned energy of unconditional love for self and others. This means having clear boundaries, loving and honoring who I am, and leading by example. I do not have any of these gates but I see the value they hold. I can allow their highest expression to shine through my own unique design and how I show up in the world for myself and with others.

Moon Phases and More for May 2023

Happy Beltane! Happy May Day! Happy Walpurgisnacht!

May 2023 enters with another eclipse, this time a Penumbral Lunar Eclipse. On May 5th, the Moon will be cast in the Earth’s Penumbra and a Blood Moon will be visible in Africa, Asia, Europe, and Oceania.

The next morning, wake up early and watch the η-Aquariids Meteor Shower. The best time to view it will be before dawn on May 6th. On May 17th, the Moon will occult (or completely hide) Jupiter. At the same time, Mercury will be in Geocentric Conjunction with the Moon. Add this to your astrophotography calendar!
