HOW THEY HANDLE BREAK-UPS

note - jujutsu kaisen, possible angst? not an x reader, just some headcannons!

MEGUMI was in a long term relationship with a girl he really liked. the girl he was dating had found someone new and left megumi. everyday since the breakup, he spends his days cooped up in his room after classes. his room remains tidy because once he’s in his bed, he doesn’t move. he thinks a lot about how he could’ve been better and what he should’ve done to make her stay. nonetheless, he doesn’t make a big deal about the break-up despite being left for someone else. he tells everyone that he’s fine and not to worry about it because it’s a normal part of life but deep down he is hurt about it but he believes that’s just how life goes.

ITADORI doesn’t dwell on the situation and gets over it pretty quickly. he loved his girlfriend and he was open about this but him loving her isn’t the equivalent to being IN love with her. his relationship had been ongoing for 3 months and everything seemed like it was going well. the last week of their relationship, they both started to drift from each other which caused petty arguments and speculations, so he officially broke it off with her. he was sad for a little bit but of course, todo got him back on his feet. soon enough he was back to his normal self, he isn’t rushing into a new relationship or anything but he is back to thirsting over jennifer lawrence.

NANAMI will do whatever it takes to get his woman back. whoever he settled down with is who he wants to marry. i don’t believe that nanami would have made the decision to end things with his partner but he will be the one trying to fix things. he is too much of a gentlemen to be broken up with in my eyes but i believe his girlfriend would have broken up with him because of his lack of ability to express his emotions. she probably felt like he had a lot going on and a lot of stress with work that he never shared with her that made her feel like nanami couldn’t talk to her, so she believed he needed to find someone he could talk to. after the attempt to break up with nanami he goes in depth and gives explicit details about his day and things going on in his mind and he makes sure not to make the same mistake twice.

GOJO is not cool about it at all. he blocks her on everything but still stalks her from a burner account. he tries going on dates and having hookups to detach himself from her. they probably broke up because he doesn’t spend as much time with her as she’d like, although gojo has explained he has a fulltime job and students who are basically his children that he trains after working his fulltime job and she doesn’t buy any of it and ends up breaking up with him over it. gojo talks about her to his students whenever the chance is granted to them which causes them to grumble and groan. on the bright side, he ends up getting a lot of advice from them as well which helps him get over it.

And the way that he offers you any snacks and food he has first before he offers to the rest of the people with you.

The way that you catch his eye when you walk in the room, that he can't help but stare for a few seconds, admiring you.

The way that he'll slightly lean into you laughing when you're sitting right next to him

But anyway, movie nights are a requirement when you're friends with Yuji.

He probably has a day every week that he invites you, Megumi, and Nobara to watch a movie all together.

Yuji smoothly pulls it off with all his practice in front of the mirror paying off

he completely stumbles his way through it

but it's so cute and super sweet and genuine that it probably gets you to fall for him even more

If you ever confront Yuji about his crush on Jennifer Lawrence, he'll get so bashful.

I feel like Todo would be the one to tell you that Yuji mention to him during their days at their old school that he found Jennifer Lawrence.

You'll definitely have a Hunger Games marathon at some point in your relationship.

Pillow fights happen every few movie nights

especially if you argue about something in the movie

Like one of you didn't like something in it or are debating which movie of a series is the best one

The pillow fights decides all.

For actual fights between you and Yuji though, Yuji has always been good at making it back up to you if he did something wrong.

sometimes he needs space after an argument but he comes back pretty quickly.

one of the first fights he went to Gojo for advice and immediately regretted it. Gojo had some good advice overall but it was covered up by some story or stories he was telling while giving it and Yuji didn't make the connection

Megumi and Nanami offer excellent advice however for any situation

usually at least one of them can't bother with the situation if Yuji is asking for advice on what to do for a date or anything like that, but one of the two always respond when it's an argument because they know how much Yuji and you mean to each other

unless it's a silly argument ofc.

Nobara also gives great advice, but sometimes she's a lil too picky with Yuji on what she gives advice on and goes off on other things about him that he could work on

im sorry, she cares a lot but I feel like she would go on tangents sometimes. We still love her very much

But Nobara is such an awesome wingwoman for both you and Yuji

Girl has the best ideas for dates and gifts and so much more.

Gojo 100% ships you and Yuji if he finds that you're right for each other

especially if he notices that you like each other before the confession

oh my gosh he gets so excited that two of his students are into each other

he tries to help out a little by putting you on missions together and gets you two to run errands together too

different things like that but occasionally it's very obvious that Gojo is trying to set the both of you up.

Nanami has told Gojo numerous times to back off because he too is one of the first to notice the connection between you and Yuji.

but of course we all know that doesn't exactly work out.

Yuji even gets you a lil tiger plush, somewhat as a joke because of his high school nickname

He thinks it's really cute when you hold the plush and it always makes him smile to see the plush in your room

If you name the tiger after him, he dies inside due to your sweetness

If you also attend Jujutsu High, Yuji sneaks into your dorm room regularly.

He loves holding you and spending nights with you, especially after rough missions

and after certain events like with what happened to Junpei

Yuji was able to hold it for quite awhile but he eventually ends up collapsing in your arms, saying nothing.

usually he's the big spoon but it's moments like these that he just needs you to hold him tight and play with his hair

no words necessary he just wants to be close to you.

Moving on... Yuji plays with your hair and fidgets with your fingers quite a lot

Yuji allows you to do the same to him if you want.

He's always open to new stuff that you tell him about

that doesn't stop Sukuna making remarks about your relationship in Yuji's head tho

especially since Yuji thinks about you a lot and Sukuna gets tired of it

If you are ever assigned to fight against each other in training, Yuji immediately tries to change partners

Para mim, existem grupos de reações possíveis com os meninos. Os que ficam os que já estão chorando sem nem te ver, os que desabam no segundo que te vê e aqueles que ficam estáticos, em choque, com um sorriso de orelha a orelha, tal qual o gato da alice

Certeza absoluta que na gangue dos "chorões" (🥲🥹🥺😭) teríamos o Fran, Blas e com toda certeza, Pardella. Consigo ver que são daqueles que mal conseguem dormir e que poucas horas antes da cerimônia, vão ficar super tentados a querer te ver para pelo menos dar um beijinho. Vão suar de nervoso mesmo que tenha ar condicionado. E quando fizerem a entrada, já vão entrar chorando. Eles estão tão felizes e desacreditados que finalmente estão se casando, que eles não conseguem conter as lágrimas.

Quando você entra no local da cerimônia, caminhando em sincronia com a música, algum dos padrinhos vai ter que dar um lenço para eles que ficam com o rosto mega vermelhinho de tanto chorar, emocionados com sua beleza.

"Você parece um anjo vindo abençoar a minha vida", eles dizem algo do tipo, no impulso, assim que você termina a caminhada e chega até o altar. E digo mais, vão dar um beijinho na sua testa e só não te puxam para um beijão pq não querem estragar o ritual da cerimônia.

Eles passariam o dia um pouco tensos, rindo mas de nervoso. O frio na barriga não parou um segundo sequer e cada minuto que se passava sem você aparecer, parecia uma eternidade para eles. Tentam se distrair conversando vez ou outra com os padrinhos, algum convidado que esteja próximo ao altar, vão analisar com mais afinco a decoração e como conseguia ver um pouco se vocês dois em cada detalhe.

Quando você aparece, eles soltam todo o ar que estavam segurando e nem sabiam. É uma mistura de sentimentos que evoluem a cada passo seu. Conforme você vai se aproximando, o choque vai passando e a realidade começa a bater. Enzo e Esteban podem soltar um riso anasalado desacreditados, possivelmente deixando escapar alguma lágrima de felicidades. E detalhe, corta para o Enzo com a mão no peito em todo o instante. O Esteban vai ficar com um sorriso mais contido mas em momento algum deixa de sorrir ou desvia o olhar do seu e quando chegar ao altar, vai beijar sua mão e sussurrar que te ama. Já o Pipe também deixaria escapar alguma lágrima mas além disso, estaria fazendo biquinho enquanto te analisa se aproximar dele, com as narinas um pouquinho dilatadas pelo choro. O Fernando vai se derreter todo quando você solta o primeiro sorriso para ele, da para ver ele apertando a mão de nervoso e soltando um suspiro aqui e ali.

E temos aqueles que vão estar sorrindo mais que o coringa (😄😁😆🥹), meus queridissimos Matías, Simón e Jerónimo. Não me levem a mal, não é que eles não possam se emocionar mas com certeza esse trio não teria nenhum pingo de vergonha em mostrar sua felicidade.

Simón age como se aquele fosse o dia mais feliz da vida dele, porque na realidade realmente é e ele não faz questão nenhuma de esconder e nem vai. Poderia facilmente colocar ele em qualquer outro grupo mas por um detalhe muito específico, quis manter ele aqui. Quando ele te vê, o sorriso está lá e as lágrimas também. Os olhos brilham mais que o normal e a emoção é tanta que quase bate palmas pra você.

Matías parece um pinscher raivoso, de tanto que o bichinho treme esperando te ver e quando finalmente vê, toda a ansiedade passa. Só sabia sorrir, como se a vida dependesse disso. Ele olha orgulhoso para os familiares e amigos, que estão retribuindo o mesmo olhar de felicidade e orgulho para ele.

O Jeron é uma mistura de sentimentos o sorrisinho nervoso nunca sai do rosto. Ele sorri com os olhos, aquele sorriso que faz as bochechas apertarem os olhos. E quando você aparece? Automaticamente ele sente perder as forças e o controle do próprio corpo. Ele quase tropeça quando resolve se aproximar de você, logo que se aproxima do altar.
