he does see a difference when you occasionally take them off but he doesn’t think you look wonky so don’t worry

which might lead into a conversation about why not everyone has 20/20 vision

yeah your conversations never stay on track because all the follow up questions

although you don’t mind because at least you know he’s listening

you end up explaining to him how glasses are made and he asks if you could make your own since you know

which honestly isn’t a bad idea since you could customize it and add whatever you want to it

you definitely thank him for the idea

he feels so accomplished—like he gets to be the smart one for once 😅🤷‍♀️

a sweet thing he does for you if you get eye strains/headaches is like rub your temples/run you a hot bath 💝

it surprises you how caring he can be but of course he’s not completely heartless

Summary: You, the girls, and James are now well into your twenties. Life is perfect, except for one little thing that’s been on your mind. After taking with your friends about it, you figure you should take matters into your own hands.

A/N: won’t put it on my series masterlist, but this could be seen as an epilogue of sorts to the fella series (even tho it’s not finished yet lol) but obvi it can be read as its own thing. Also im american so sorry for any terminology and such i get wrong. reader, james, and the girls are obvi aged up

If you had told your younger self that you and your friends ended up staying in Derry after finishing school, she would’ve thought you lost your mind. All she thought about was graduating and leaving home, traveling the world, and escaping her pain-in-the-ass sister Erin and somewhat crazy family.

But if she saw the life you had now, she’d probably understand. Because you had everything you truly wanted.

You had a nice little job close to your flat where you managed a bookstore. It was a quaint shop that became a frequent stop for some of the local teenagers. Erin also stopped by every now and then to boast about what she had already read.

When you weren’t working, you were with your friends. You were a bit more tame than you were in your adolescence, but that all usually went out the window when Michelle got a drink or two in her. Which happened often.

But the best part of your day was when you’d go home to see your boyfriend of many years, the love of your life, James Maguire.

“So, what’s goin’ on with you and him, anyway?” Michelle asked as she messily poured everyone a glass of wine. Every now and then, you and the girls got together for a night to get drunk and catch each other up on anything that happened since the last time you’d gotten together. For some reason, you and James were a bit of a hot topic tonight.

“What d’ya mean, Michelle? You know what’s going on with us.” You laughed, taking your wine glass from her.

“I mean, when are the two of you getting hitched? Has he even popped the question to ya?”

“Believe me, Michelle, you’d all be the first to know if we got engaged.” You said a bit glumly, downing your drink and waving your glass around for Michelle’s attention to fill it again.

“He still hasn’t asked you?” Clare asked with an incredulous look. From the start, she had been a big supporter of your and James’ relationship. If it was up to her, you’d probably have a few kids and a house in the countryside by now. “You’ve been going out since we were sixteen! And you just turned twenty-five a few months ago, didn’t you?”

“Yup.” You responded, popping the ‘p.’ “Nine years and no ring.” You held your bare hand up to prove your point. “But I don’t mind too much. As long as we’re together, that’s really what matters.”

“Aw, that’s sweet.” Clare cooed.

“It’s shit.” Michelle countered.

“Michelle’s right, Y/n,” Erin said, grabbing a crisp from the bowl in the middle of the table. “You’ve been waiting for James to propose since we finished at Our Lady Immaculate; admit it.”

“Have not!” You laughed at the absurdity of your sister’s sentence, but the looks everyone gave you made it die down. “Okay, maybe a little. But not seriously! It was just like a dream, you know? Like Erin thinking she’ll get published or Granda thinking Ma will actually divorce Daddy.”

Everyone giggled, except for Erin, who was grumbling about your little jab.

“Be serious, Y/n!” Clare laughed, patting your hand. “You’ve been waiting for him to ask for a long while.”

You looked down at your glass, swirling the wine around with a sigh.

“Maybe a bit.” You answered quietly. It hadn’t really nagged at you too much until recently. After all, you had been together for almost a decade, and everyone else around you seemed to be getting engaged or married. You loved James; truly, you did. But it felt like you were missing out a little. “But I’m fine with waiting.”

“The question is, Y/n, how long are you gonna have to wait until he actually does it?” Erin asked, leaning forward to stare at you. You shrugged, not really knowing the answer and not really wanting to respond.

“You might as well ask him, Y/n!” Your cousin Orla said with a grin. She was always an optimist. “He might just be scared you’ll say no!”

“You know, now that you say it, that’s probably why he hasn’t asked yet,” Michelle said, taking a sip from her wine glass that had been filled more graciously than anyone else’s. “After all, James is a pussy.”

“Don’t call my fella a pussy, Michelle!” You reprimanded, yet you still laughed along with everyone else.

“I can call my cousin what I want. And the fact is that he’s a pussy!”

“You know, that’s not a bad idea, really,” Clare said when everyone’s chuckles had died down. She gasped. “This is a leap year! You could ask him on the twenty-ninth!”

“That’s next week, Clare.” You said a bit nervously. Of course, you’d marry James in a heartbeat. But the thought of proposing, especially so soon, made you a bit sick to the stomach. Now you realize why James probably hasn’t asked you yet.

“It’s either next week or another four years, Y/n,” Michelle said with a teasing smile.

You gulped, feeling everyone’s eyes on you. As you thought about it, you had to admit that it wasn’t really a bad idea. Sure, you had less than an ideal amount of time to plan everything out. But you could probably get something small but nice together.

“Okay… Who’s going ring shopping with me?” The girls squealed at your question, getting up to surround you in a drunken group hug.

It was the twenty-ninth, and you were a nervous wreck. The ring weighed heavy in your pocket as you paced around your dining room. Dinner was sitting waiting on the table, and you were playing your little speech of love over and over in your head. All you needed was James, who should be home soon. But as the minutes ticked by, you wished the clock would freeze so you could have more time to prepare for this.

“Darling, I’m home!” James called out as he opened the door, and you realized you were out of time. You skipped out to the front hall to greet your boyfriend.

“Hi, Jamie.” You cooed, giving him a hug and kiss on the cheek before stepping away so he could hang up his coat.

“Sorry I’m a bit late, needed to finish some things at the office.”

“Oh, that’s okay, hun.” You waved your hands, both to dismiss his unneeded apology and to get rid of some nervous energy.

James gave you a quick peck before walking off to the bedroom to change, leaving you to overthink a bit more. You wanted tonight to be perfect. James deserved nothing less than that.

To pass the time, you grabbed a candle and placed it in the middle of the small table, finding a lighter to light the wick.

“It’s so nice to be home,” James murmured as he walked over to you, arms slinking around you to pull you close to his chest. He buried his face into your neck, leaving a kiss or two before taking a deep breath. “Dinner smells good.”

“Thank you, Jamie.” You turned your head to kiss his cheek before pulling away from him. The two of you sat down and started putting food on your plates.

You talked about anything and everything, James leading most of the conversation, which you were grateful for. You felt that if you had to talk too much, you’d either stutter too much or end up spoiling your surprise. James held your hand most of the time, playing with your fingers absentmindedly as he talked about something amusing that happened at work.

Eventually, your plates were clear and your cups were empty. James was finishing up a story about something a few of his lads had done while they were all watching some sports game you didn’t know much about. You knew that now was your time.

“Jamie?” He hummed, perking up at the sound of his name.

“Yes, love?”

“I love you.” You didn’t really know how else to start.

“I love you, too, N/n,” James said, smiling as he squeezed your hand.

You took a deep breath, about to give the speech that you’d been preparing in your head.

“I’ve known that you were the one for me since we were fifth years. Probably since I first saw you at the bus stop. That’s probably crazy, knowing something like that so early and so young… But it’s true.” You laughed, thumb sweeping over his knuckles. “These have been the best years of my life, being with you. And it might be a bit selfish of me, but I want more of them.”

“Y/n…” James whispered, tilting his head. “What are you saying, darling?”

“We have a bit of a tradition here.” You say, wiggling your hand from James’ grasp and standing up. “Ladies’ Privilege, Bachelor’s Day, whatever you fancy calling it. Where on Leap Day, girls can propose to their fella.” You stuck your hand in your pocket, fiddling with the ring. “And seeing how it’s Leap Day now, and I have a ring and all, I guess there’s just one last thing to ask.”

James’ expression turned even more stunned when you got down on one knee, now holding the silver band up in front of him.

“Will you marry me, Jamie?”

In the few seconds of silence after that question, you could feel your heartbeat in your ears. He looked at you stunned, and you desperately wanted to know what was going through his mind. How long would you have to kneel on the ground for him to give you an answer?

But then he smiled brightly, and all your worry slipped away.

“Of course, I’ll marry you!” James slipped out of his chair to join you on the floor and grabbed your face, giving you a long and deep kiss. You gripped his curls in your free hand, the other resting on his shoulder. When he pulled away, he let out an airy laugh. “I never thought I’d be the one being proposed to.”

“Well, there’s a first time for everything.” You giggled with him as you slipped the band onto his ring finger. “Happy Leap Day.”

“Happy Leap Day, indeed,” James said before kissing you again.

Dating Simon headcanons

If you know me, you know I literally made this account because Tumblr was the only soure of Simon screencaps etc I had. And, since I am writing what I believe to be the first ever Simon x reader fic on the entire internet over on AO3, I thought I’d feed you all some more. So, here’s some headcanons of what I think it’d be like to date Simon. Might also include NSFW if I feel like it/if anything comes to mind, but it will be marked with 🍋(real original, I know) so you can skip it if you want to. It is also currently 2 hours past when I’m supposed to go to bed and I haven’t gotten proper, 8 hours of sleep in like a month so yeah, apologies if there’s any grammar mistakes or anything similar.

They’re all kept gender neutral, and reader is referred to as ’you’.

Specifically book Simon, since book and show are pretty different I now realize

Ok, sorry, I’ll calm down

But seriously, we know this kid hasn’t really gotten that much love or compassion from others, and probably was never even in a real relationship before you, so whenever you express that you genuinely like him and want to be with him, he kind of schort-circuits

He’s also kind of worried you’re only with him to get info on others, and once you’ve got enough you’ll leave him, and that it’s all a cruel joke

But, again, if you reassure him that no, you’re not just here for info and you do infact love him, he’ll slowly learn to not listen to the voice in his head, it will take a while tho, so get ready

Of course, since it’s Simon, if anyone ever messes with you, in any way shape or form, be that at school, online, strangers in public, whatever, he will have them on display on AboutThat the next morning, or even within a couple of hours, front and center. He doesn’t really care who it is, but if they mess with you, they mess with him too

🍋 Now we all know Simon likes to feel all high and mighty, untouchable, right? So, might I suggest, that Simon would probably enjoy power play? Of course he’s always the one with power, and I feel he’d get a reeeeeeal kick out of getting to use you however we wants (with your consent of course, he might be an ass who kinda ruins peoples lives but he’s not a monster). If you’re into it too then even better! Though he’d never push you too far, he doesn’t want to hurt and maybe even lose you! Call him something like Sir, Mister, Master or anything of the like and wheeeeeew you’ll be in for a ride. Most of the time literally xD

Simon is definitely terrified of losing you, I mean you’re one of, if not the, first people to really care for him. He’s always worried that he’ll say or do something wrong and that you’ll leave him. :( please do reassure him you won’t leave, it will probably end up with him crying, though.

At school, of course, he’s all cocky and confident, but I feel with you, in private, be that at yours or his place, he’d stop being so braggy, and actually be quite touchy and affectionate and quiet. I can imagine you two just sitting on whoever’s house you’re currently in’s bed, both sort of doing your own thing, but still leaning on another, maybe occasionally saying a few words, but mostly keeping quiet. Sometimes the Tv will be on in the background, playing whatever channel was last on, sometimes it’ll just be music, or maybe even nothing, only the sounds of both of you clicking away at laptops, phones, the sound of pages in a book turning, whatever.

I think we can all agree that Simon is probably pretty touch-starved, I mean lookatem! At school he’d probably not be that touchy, maybe just holding your hand or his arm around your waist, just small things people easily miss. He’d probably not be the biggest fan of PDA, but also probably would’t hate it. Sure he’s give you a quick kiss or two, but you wouldn’t get into full on makeout sessions in the middle of school. He hates when others do it, so he also won’t.

In private, however, it’s as if he’s superglued to you, always touching you in some way. Leaning on you when you’re both working, holding you when you watch Tv together, you sitting on his lap when he’s at his desk, whatever. He’s always hesitant to let go because his brain tells him that if he lets go, he’ll never get to hold you again, that you’ll disappear.

Maybe, just maybe, you’d even be enough for him to scrap his plan, to not actually kill himself. I doubt he just one random day decided to do it, he must have started planning ahead years before. And it will take a while for him to decide that no, he doesn’t want to do it anymore, because he has you. I feel the day it’s all officially cancelled, he’d probably sit down on his bed or desk and just, take it all in for a bit. Never had he felt this safe and happy with someone before, so much so that he doesn’t want to kill himself anymore. He definitely cries.

I feel you’d eventually find out. Maybe you do by accident, maybe he tells you, doesn’t really matter. Either way, a lot of crying happens. You crying because he wanted to kill himself, then because you are the reason he didn’t and then him crying because of all the emotions and how new this all is for him.

So we all probably know the song 'Teenage Dirtbag' right? Well, I just heard it on tiktok, the end part where she also sings to be precise, and I dunno why but I just thought of Simon and his S/O. Like he never thought they'd ever even acknowledge him, and when they do he's just like "Wot". I dunno, my brain just does stuff sometimes.

In conclusion: I fucking love Simon, I want him to be happy, healthy and loved and I will gladly give him that love. <33

I truly made this acc so I can ramble about my favs so I’ll start with random headcanons for my girlfriend Johnny cage <3

-> I believe he gets REALLY pissed when he gets called a “nepobaby” or something along those lines by the media because 1) his family wasn’t famous before him and 2) he is really prideful of the work he has put to get to where he is.

-> daddy issues..mommy issues…everything issues (it was obvious 😭) I do believe while he has complica feelings about it he does get along with his mom, keeps it very superficial tho. He definitely hates his brother and dad.

-> his parents divorced while he was a teen and it was MESSY part of the reason why his divorce with Cris crushed him so much was because he felt just like his dad

-> his family (including extended family) always had a very obvious preference for his brother, part of it is because growing up his brother was the more “charismatic” one and also he was doing excellent at school while Johnny struggling in most of his classes and he was an awkward kid.

-> also his family took his brother more seriously because he pursue “serious�� careers while Johnny always wanted to be an actor.

-> part of me believes johnny was a child actor and that was probably the worst period of his life, he got taken advantage of not only by older directors and producers but also his own family.

-> all of the money he did as a child actor was never used on him, not even for important things, most of it went to payments for all the debts they had (courtesy of his dad) and the left over was focused on payment for his brother’s college since he was studying for becoming a lawyer (courtesy of his mother since “Jimmy is becoming a lawyer to help the law he’s priority”)

-> to elaborate more on his and his mom’s relationship: I do believe she later own realized her own mistakes although since she’s stubborn as hell she never properly apologized and also realized wayy to late so the damage is already very done. He still loves her dearly because she did showed more care to him than his dad, it’s just too complicated so he rather keep her at arms length.

-> since going through the burden of child acting, he have always advocated for them, when he has young co-stars he always treats them with respect and it’s even super friendly with them joking around and even offering them junk food or desserts. A popular backstage story about him is the time he work with a crew of teen actors and after a hard day of filming he took them to an arcade and paid for absolutely everything, till this day even after the kids grew up they still recall that story with fondness.

-> another popular story of his was when he stood up for a kid who was being treated unfairly by the studio of one of his films, stoping the whole production until the issue got solved and the kid was ok.

-> I just think Johnny likes kids man, he’s like the weird but cool uncle, he is lowkey afraid of being a father for the fear he will end up like his

-> in a funnier note, in his universe he was the one who said the legendary Tom hardy quote: “I’m an actor, of course i had gay sex”

-> bisexual Johnny 100% he’s not even officially out but everyone and their mother knows

-> he was in the “my wife and I saw you from across the bar” situation with a popular Hollywood couple but he won’t say who..

-> he met Cris when he was still a unknown actor, she was the producer’s assistant in the short film he was in, she was the first person who not only saw through his bs but also actually believed he was going to be a big actor one day, definitely one of his closest friends before dating. Unfortunately we all know how that ended..

-> I do believe some day long after their divorce Johnny does reach out and apologizes, they definitely never go back to date since she moved on and is genuinely happier with her new partner, but they slowly rebuild their friendship, at the end they were friends first and foremost.

-> Cris and him definitely gossip a lot after rebuilding their friendship, she constantly pokes fun at him once she figures who is his crush 👀.

-> he definitely has a big crush on kenshi, it’s almost ridiculous, sadly he is severely emotionally repressed (just like his man) and thinks kenshi deserves someone better than him he also still believes kenshi blindness it’s his fault for being too weak oops

Like the reader is a demon like them but even tho they are not by blood but was raised by them as one and during the fight with Lbd they end up possessed and have to fight their father while the LBD taunts them saying looks like you're going to give up on them I guess you never really cared for them so they're not by Blood. And you abound them for the other's

When it in fact not true at all they love there kid blood or not and try to save them and get them from underneath the control of ladybone demon

Ok so I vaguely understand what you're saying, however I need some fluff to cancel out the angst I posted earlier so here's just some hc's about them as dads

SWK

The other monkeys on FFM probably found you first. And, curious about what you were, they brought you to their king! The rest is history, he probably took you in right away

He’s very chill in terms of keeping you out of trouble. He’s protective, sure, but he encourages you to explore and put yourself out there as long as it’s not super harmful

I think he loves engaging and messing around with you. Helps you hone your powers and what not all while having fun or playing games to make it a positive learning experience

If you’re ever feeling bad about not being related to him by blood, he is very good at comforting you.

He reassures you that no matter where you come from, he’s happy he gets to raise you and watch you grow up, and he is proud to call you his child.

If anyone makes comments about it while you two are in public you might have to hold him back because he WILL fight them

His favorite thing is dad jokes

Macaque

Was most likely scouting stuff in the city when he found you. He felt terrible that someone would abandon a baby so he took it upon himself to raise you, even if he’s a little underprepared

Super protective. He’s constantly worried something will happen to you but there are rare occasions where he’s calm

Spends a lot of time reaching out to his fellow demons about figuring out how best to take care of you. He knows you’re not a monkey like him so that logic is out the window mostly.

If anything ever happens that may be dangerous, he will stop everything, ask if you’re alright, and then go get rid of the danger. After that it’s time for first aid and a warm meal.

Knows how it feels to be different from your family(he was probably one of the only demon monkeys on FFM) and reassures you very often that he’s your dad and loves you as such.

His favorite thing to do with you is read or tell stories. Often he starts them off by saying “you won’t see this one in the history books!” And it makes you laugh almost every time

Other demons he knows will know about you and so he basically has a backup team in case anything happens to him. Very paranoid about all that

Pigsy

Idk how he would come across you, but I could definitely see him legit adopting a kid. MK is surprised but excited to have a kind of sibling!!

He’s got the dad business down to a science. I think he goes with his gut on almost everything and it works out in the end.

You’re probably brought up the most normally out of the whole lineup of these characters. He gets you in school, you’ve got your own room in his house, and you help out in the shop.

He takes every situation as it comes. A little strict, but overall he just wants you to be happy, healthy, and safe.

He has you taste test new recipes when he cooks and he also loves when you help him cook in general

The one thing he’s not entirely sure of is how to comfort you if you have doubts or bad feelings about not “really” being related to him.

All he can really do is affirm that hey, he raised you and he loves you more than anything—more than noodles!—and that he’s there for you whenever you need him.

Gentle parenting at its finest. Has a small set of easy rules and deals with each thing accordingly—no yelling from him at all though!

You’re taught how to be gentle and take care of other living things by growing up around his therapy cats! And they love you anyways because, well, they’re cats

He takes you on a fun adventure or outing whenever he gets the chance. He wants you to see and experience the world, not be cooped up in one place.

Because he’s so good at helping others with their emotions, he walks you through and comforts you when you’re feeling inadequate in terms of blood relations.

Cheers you up, gets you some of your favorite tea, and assures you that he loves you and cares about you.

DBK

By far the most knowledgeable about raising demon babies. He himself is hesitant at first but Princess Iron Fan convinces him to take you in.

They’re prepared for all your powers and what not, so honestly it’s smooth sailing for them

DBK is a little harsh sometimes but he is doing his best to be there for you!

He thinks that because you’re part of this family, you deserve to be treated like they are; royalty! You get pretty much anything you ask for :0

I think he would carry Redson and you around a lot. No idea why but maybe it’s a comfort thing. It’s just this towering Bull figure, very menacing, but on his shoulders are his over dramatic son and adoptive daughter

(He goes about his business but the fun part is you and Redson just having conversations over him. And he chimes in too sometimes. I can’t get this pic out of my head it’s so cute and funny)

Anyways he’s better at reassurance through action rather than through words. He can tell when you’re down, whether it’s because you feel different or if you’re just having a bad day. So he brings you your favorite meal and a warm blanket, lets you know he’ll be in the kitchen, and gives you your space.

Akane Aoi & Aoi Akane Obsession Theory

Welcome to my first post on this blog pooks <3

(I will be referring to the boy as Akane and the girl as Aoi bcuz that’s what I personally do, others use their last name but I don’t.)

so, let’s just jump right into it.

let’s go over the foundation of this theory first.

so what we know:

Akane is undoubtedly obsessed with Aoi. He has been ever since he was a little boy. According to Aoi, it all started when they moved next to each other and became neighbors, which caused them to become best friends. Even from childhood, Akane has had a strong obsession with Aoi that’s unhealthy.

And I wanna think about and take a look at a few things that really make you think, is there really more going on than just a simple boy having a bit too hard of a crush?

so here, we see the clock keepers plan. When they were looking for a 3rd clock keeper to take place with a 6-year contract, they decided to take advantage of Akane by manipulating him into thinking he could get her to date him.

and it’s a solid plot line. It makes some sense, but the problem I have with it is one thing. Why did they choose Akane? Because he had a crush on Aoi? I mean it was clear he had a crush on Aoi, but I’m sure many children had crushes in the school and acted a bit crazy about it sometimes just like Akane has. Why would they risk the powers of a clock keeper to be in the hands of a little kid who is obsessed with some girl?

that is— unless they did it for a reason.

maybe they weren’t watching Akane the whole time. They told him “we’ve been watching you”.

maybe they were watching somebody else tho. Maybe they were watching Aoi.

We also all should know that Aoi has the blood of the Kannagi in her, due to being a decendent of the Akane family. Which makes Aoi… like a SUPER important character after knowing that information.

If Aoi is killed in honor of the “gods”, then supernaturals will be eradicated. The entire world won’t have a problem. The Minamoto family will have a normal life, and so many people will be happy at the expense of this girl’s life.

Every Kannagi needs a protector up until they are sacrificed. If they die before then, the sacrifice won’t work and the gods will kill the villagers of the land. Shinigami wasn’t born to serve her, but in the end did it anyways because he was ordered to. He ended being her protector, even if he was a supernatural himself.

We never learn or have learned much about the Oni, which was the type of demon Shikigami was. We just know that he was one himself and his entire family was slain by one of the Minamoto’s ancestors.

But, if some people are born to excorcise, some people are born to be sacrificed,

then couldnt that also mean that people could be born to protect?

it’s a far reach, but what I’m saying is that I think Akane’s obsession with Aoi links to his family’s ancestors being protectors of the Kannagi.

So, in a way, it just means that they are star-crossed lovers. Romeo and Juliet style.

but it doesn’t stop there.

The Minamoto family never gets a break. And we never really get to see Teru’s true intentions or motifs, only that he’s truly and canonically against supernaturals to the highest point possible.

When I reread the severance chapters, I realized something. Teru said “This is the first time I’ve gotten a day off.” And he genuinely got to have fun. He got a break.

Probably, for the first time in his life, Teru got to act like an actual kid.

and Teru loves his work. He loves being an excorcist, but I think we all know one thing he loves even more than being an excorcist. His family.

“I’d become a zombie too”

clearly, this is referring to supernaturals. If Kou became a supernatural, Teru probably would too. He wouldn’t live another day allowing his brother to stay stuck on the school grounds forever while he’s still alive because he loves him so much that he would die for him in a second.

I personally have a theory that Teru is planning something with the Akane family, or has a plot of his own. Where he wants to sacrifice somebody in the bloodline, or some Kannagi to the supernatural, or “gods” so that they are fed and not disturbed for a long while. Only so his family and him can live a normal life not full of danger and demons.

it’s not a solid theory, where I can say “this is exactly what’s happening”, but I am just suspecting that Teru is up to something nobody is going to be expecting, all at the cost for his family.

anyways: I hope y’all understood atleast a little bit :3 it’s hard to explain such complex theories, but I do have more!

Johnny seems like a guy with very sensitive skin, where do you think the characters would interact with him the most?

From the top of his golden head to the bottoms of his feet to his soul, that boy is sensitive. Bruises like the sweetest peach and gets so flushed from even the lightest slap—of course everyone is tempted to make him whimper and want to leave their own mark on him, even if that means kicking his (juicy) ass or attacking his neck.

His skin is crazy sensitive, and his whole roster knows it and takes advantage.

It’s not their fault that he’s so fun to play with, chews on his lip like he wants it off his face when they’re just kissing his ticklish inner wrists, and gets all sweet and sighful when they cup his face and kiss that then swollen lip. Let their tongue peek out and swipe it to make him flinch from the sting and pleasure. How can they not continue to tease him?

It’s hard to keep it pg in public, the best they can do is pg-13.

They’ll grab his waist in grocery isles (corset petite or plump with adorable love handles just as grippable under it) and dig their fingers in while grazing their teeth along his pretty throat to get him shivering and knock-kneed where anyone could see. It’s just too easy! And very pleasurable for them in a different way. The way his piteous noises get caught in his throat as he tries to keep his composure, clinging to them all warm because they made him blush cherry to his chest, really gets them going.

And oh, his chest can take a lot, which is one of the spots to go for if you want to get him arching and panting like he’s run a marathon rather than getting his tits played with. Begging for mercy because how is he going to wear a shirt at all when he’s so sore?

There’s no light breeze or chill that won’t get his cute little nipples perking up hard as pebbles on a beach like they need a hot mouth to come rescue them from the “cold”. He’s been told to “go get a bra” by people who find themselves funny or think he actually looks indecent, but his roster does not agree—they quite like seeing those stiff buds trying to escape from his shirt, and you best believe they can’t stop themselves from sneaking in little tweaks and tugs no matter the location, pressing their nails into them.

When they’re in private, they go insane. Chewing and suckling, leaving the same marks they leave everywhere else but tenfold on those perfect lil titties.

Just like they do with his silky thighs. He begins to tremble when the inners of them are tended to, his stomach tenses and he can’t stop gasping, his legs trying to close together without his permission to the point that they have to forcefully keep them spread (which makes him moan because he loves when they get rough with him.) (as for the part of the roster I talk of less: Chozen somehow reads Johnny’s mind and tries to go for what he thinks will work him up most in that moment, but the tits are honestly what he found himself staring at besides his face when they dirst met. Mike? All over—he WILL be making that man scream, will gnaw on him like he’s red meat, and probably scratch him up. Putting Eddie/Freddy in the same spot because I see these shortly seen Tkk characters as an unlikely team Johnny would re-meet at a school reunion only to get creamed in the bathroom. As in: waist and tits due to his frequent shirtlessness back then (probably slap him in the mouth too for all the bitchy things they remember him saying. That’s not even accounting for all of the potential suitors like Sensei Kim and others.)

Soapshipping winter hcs!!!!!! Bc they r on my mind… and it’s winter soon…. I don’t know how cold it actually gets where they are or if it snows but let’s just ignore that for now

•The narrator has to force Tyler to put anything on for warmth. If he didn’t tell Tyler to put something on so he won’t be chilly, Tyler would go out in Booty shorts & a crop top in snow. He usually has to grab Tyler before they leave the house and force him to at least put a jacket on. (If he could have it his way, he’d put Tyler in a jacket, ear muffs, gloves, a warm hat, boots, a scarf and just like anything like that that will keep him warm 💀)

•The narrator has a huge af jacket to keep him warm when he’s walking to the office. Tyler makes fun of him a bit for it bc it’s huge on him & makes him look like a kid being forced to wear a huge jacket to school on a cold morning.

•Tyler is always warm :3 so when it’s cold out or inside the house, the narrator is glued to him.

•The narrator would make hot chocolate. He’d offer some to Tyler but Tyler says it’s gay (when he’s openly lgbt smh) He gives him a cup of it anyways & Tyler will drink it but also eat some of those little marshmallows u can put in the drink from the bag.

• Ok I have no idea if their place has a fire place but if it did, Tyler would wanna get it going but the narrator thinks the house is finally gonna burn down that way 💀 after some bickering and Tyler more than likely gets his way, they cuddle up to it together.

Tyler will make him super worried tho bc he keeps playing around and putting his own hand close to the fire to scare him. The narrator will have to yank his arm away or keep pulling him back away from it :/

•The narrators nose, cheeks and ears get so red so quickly out in the cold. Him being super pale doesn’t help this at all. Tyler thinks it’s cute but also pokes fun at him for it.

•Tyler can put up such a fight about ‘not being cold’ but he will sit there and shiver or rub at his own arms to keep warm at the same time.

The narrator on the other hand will complain about it being cold the minute he steps outside & use it as a excuse to stay close to him the whole time they are out.

•Tyler lends him his jacket if he didn’t bring one himself for some reason. He’ll be all cool about it too like the narrator is his frail girlfriend and he’s the man who will suffer for her comfort LOL

•Tyler is really good at ice skating because of course he is. He’s Tyler so he’s good at everything. The narrator on the other hand can’t skate at all and will fall first thing.

•They both would take turns shoveling the snow into a path in the mornings but more often than not Tyler is the one who does it since the narrator has to actually leave the house in the morning while Tyler works later in the day. Tyler is a early bird so he usually takes care of stuff like that in the mornings. He expects to be rewarded for shoveling it away tho which the narrator is more than eager to give.

•Marla gifted them a heated blanket. But only one so they share. It was probably specifically for the narrator because he shakes like a small dog in the cold and it made her pity him lol. Anyways it’s probably on the smaller side so the narrator has to lay on Tyler for it to cover them both.

•Tyler will make snowmen!!! ⛄️ and throw snowballs at cars, the narrator and random people.

•Yeah…Tyler is gonna do the fanfic thing. Yknow the thing. where he will kiss him or be really suggestive to the narrator when he’s cold and when he starts blushing he’s like “you feel warm yet 😏? (rizz)” narrator likes it but also loves when Tyler is sweet and just holds the narrators hand in his and rubs them.

•Tyler will eat icicles. Mostly just to hear the narrator cry that he shouldn’t do that.

•Tyler hates Christmas so much but will show up to the stupid little Christmas parties the narrator ends up going to for work. (Mostly to just cause trouble in one way or another) he might even throw on a Santa hat if they just have them there.

•The narrator is indifferent to christmas. He never really liked it or hated it. He feels sooooo badly that he needs to get Tyler a gift tho even if that will get him yelled at or worse. He just won’t learn.

If like, after years of him not listening to Tyler about getting him a gift, Tyler will think “shit. He won’t listen anyways no matter what so might as well get him something 🙄”

•Or if that’s too ooc for y’all maybe the narrator would at least try to cook a nice dinner for them on christmas. It’s something Tyler probably wouldn’t get super worked up over.

•Tyler loves the mistletoe shit tho. He puts them everywhere all over the house. The narrator yells to anyone who visits them while they are up that “THOSE ARE ONLY FOR ME AND HIM!!! YOU DONT COUNT!” Or he will just not let anyone in 😭

•Tyler sucks on candy canes in the most suggestive way ever. He makes a show out of it while looking right into the narrators eyes.

Both of them like to make candy canes pointed and threaten each other with them. The narrator will bust a nut if he’s able to trace it down Tyler’s neck. Creep.

•Tyler hates Christmas music while narrator likes it. It’s not his favorite but he hums the songs if they are out somewhere where it’s playing.

•Tyler picks him and the narrator up inappropriate Christmas sweaters from the thrift store.

•They’ll MAYBE visit each other’s families for christmas. Only if they have been together a while and if either of them even talk to family they care about anymore.

•To Tylers annoyance no one shows up that much to FC in the weeks leading up to Christmas. He either makes it a rule you have to come around that time or he just lets it slide.

The narrator doesn’t give a shit bc he’s only there for Tyler lol.

You were talking to the Valentine kid again, Leona wouldn’t say that was a problem but what was was the fact that you kept staring at him, longer than a normal person would. Val wasn’t unattractive by any means, but considering you were, if you maybe hadn’t caught on, were dating him? A little bit strange.

Leona huffed and walked up, not speaking a word, but staring Val in the face from behind you until he awkwardly excused himself.

Honestly, Leona would notice right as you two start drifting apart, but wouldn’t do anything out of anger

It’s not that he realizes Val’s Unique Magic, but thinks you’re genuinely in love with him

Leona was pissed, more pissed than he could describe, you told him that the both of you were friends! And then- And then you don’t even have the decency to break up with him before kissing Val?! Proceeding to not only break up with him, cheat on him, but also just plain embarrass him?

After Leona was done destroying his room in a fit of anger, he tiredly looked around, still breathing heavily. He didn’t know what he did wrong, just what you did.

He avoids the both of you, which basically leads to him sleeping and being even grumpier, which makes things 10x harder for Ruggie, who’s desperately trying to find out what the hell’s wrong!?

okay so i can’t really process how this (monster high) would translate to twst, but imagining that it did, Leona is extremely pissed at Val and will try to “extremely hurt” him, or scare the crap out of him with threats until he leaves (willingly preferably, but not is fine with him)

finds it hard to trust you again, and will be a lot more grumpy with any events having to do with RSA

Has a couple of issues with any “friends” you have that he doesn’t know of already, Leona ends up being more protective and hostile towards others

Jamil doesn’t have any thoughts on Val, so long as he doesn’t get in the way of what needs to be done

He doesn’t go out of his way to insult or befriend Val, but makes it known that nothing of his behavior will change solely due to Val’s relationship with you

Val wasn’t awful, Jamil could admit that much, but it’s not like there was any point in interacting with him further than you and him hanging out, or working on an assignment together, and Jamil doesn’t plan there to be. What Jamil couldn’t admit, however, is how much his eye twitched whenever Val go so, so close to you.

Jamil, as much as he hates it, will tell you his observations and.. Well, if you’re so sure about the fact you both were just friends, Jamil won’t push too much

That being said, after that talk, he’s constantly aware of how much you two hang around and just how close Val gets to you

Jamil sighed, annoyed most of all, he didn’t see why you were staying with him if you obviously liked Val, honestly, what was the point in dragging this out?

Now, Kalim is horrified when it comes out you both broke up! You two had the perfect relationship, and you were so happy too! What happened?!

Jamil refuses to talk to anyone about it above “It just didn’t work out”, so Kalim obviously does the reasonable and confronts you!

Kalim was (probably) always there when you and Jamil fell in love, and whatever this was, your constant heart eyes and lengths of paragraphs of praise towards Val, was not at all love..

“Oh, come on, Jamil! I don’t know what got into (name) but something must’ve happened! You have to talk to them!”

Jamil silently scoffed, what could come of that but unnecessary trouble?

Kalim would have to be the one to do most of the saving, simply because Jamil is still upset about the whole ordeal

Jamil, knowing about Val and his power, will, of course, take on with proper Jamil fashion and make Vals life a living hell (in minor or major inconveniences) for the rest of his stay at NRC<33

Doesn’t completely not trust you, because he knows it wasn’t your fault, but also can’t find himself completely trusting your friends again, it can slowly be brought back up to that point

for curtesies sake I’ll add a read more after I write one sentence of explanation.

I’m too busy to write a fic rn but the brain worms are so intense for Magical Girl Arashi that I will instead write an outline.

I’ll probably try to write em in an episodic fashion cuz like, magical girl anime :D:D✨✨✨

Cool so episode one should serve about three functions.

show how arashi gets her powers

establish the setting and foreshadow future characters

Get the view acquainted with the tone

so here’s how I’d go about it 🥰

Scene one:

Arashi should be in class

its a normal day

a new kid joins the class, it’s Mika

she notes that there’s something odd about him but like, in a comedic way that the audience won’t initially pick up on

he shouldn’t notice her at this point, she’s still a normal girl (still a queen, slay Fr I love her)

However he doesn’t make any friends for most of class and his introduction sounded like a robotic script, also he’s sitting alone, poor murderous baby 😭

anyways she, being the queen that she is, decides to talk to him after class and she gets a whole conversation with him

He doesn’t show it very well but he is happy to have a friend and offers her a bear charm instead of actually confirming that they’re friends (he’s real standoffish at this point so think how he acted to Anzu at first in the first game but like, a bit more tame) (cuz he ain’t allowed to really have friends, he’s just supposed to keep up appearances while Shu finds what he’s after)

School goes on, Arashi has lunch with Ritsu and Leo, we get a passing convo about them going to karaoke later, Leo laments that Izumi won’t go with them and the other two just kind of give him a sad look ig. Cuz he hasn’t gone with them in a really long time cuz he’s “busy” and “not interested in childish things right now” “too much work with ballet” (he’s lying💀✨. We’ll get to that later, I am having numerous thoughts)

School goes on once again and the day ends. Arashi walks home with her friends and they all go their separate ways.

while she is walking alone she hears this awful screeching sound, like a cat that’s super upset. So she, as any good cat mom would, follows it.

she finds a little kitty that’s being chased by these creepy looking Victorian dolls. They have golden strings attached to their feet that seem to trail on the ground as they walk. She doesn’t take much note of them tho. She’s too busy grabbing that cat and getting the hell out of there.

so she takes the cat back to her house and checks the poor baby for injuries. Thankfully the kitty is fine. However, things get a bit funky. (Magic cat.)

The cat puts a paw on her chest (like between her collar bones) and a little jewel mark appears there. Arashi is obviously very confused and concerned but the cat just purrs and meows at her.

She starts questioning the cat but like, ma’am despite the magic, that cat don’t talk. That cat meows, screams, and imitates barking noises to scare other cats. Fucking creature tbh. I love this cat.

also arashi is in her room on her bed btw, and there should be big windows by her bed, also she is on the ground floor. This is important.

so after a few minutes of questioning and getting meows for yes and shaken heads for no, the cat starts yowling and screaming and growling. So arashi is obviously very concerned.

There’s a thump on her window, the cat gets even louder.

she looks out and sees a… doll? Maybe a mannequin? It certainly looks large enough to be a mannequin. Huh, it has more of those gold strings. It’s beating on her window. Huh, wait, why is the window sliding open, FUCK!

Arashi grabs the cat and bolts while this mannequin chases her through the house. She does the smart thing and tries to call the police, there’s no response cuz the lines been cut and the service on her cell phone is out.

She tries to leave the house but each exit is being stalked by a different mannequin. So she runs to the bathroom to lock the door and hide.

(She tried to snap a photo of one of the mannequins btw, just in case she needed proof but when she looks at it later the photo will be obscured and unrecognizable so sucks to suck lmao 💀)

The cat gestures to the gem mark on her chest and tries to communicate with her to touch the mark. She does as the cat communicates and then she transforms. She gazes into the vast universe (the background from your art of her in her super magical girl form) and she sees a sword, a really pretty, majestic sword. She grasps the handle and her transformation starts.

anyways she doesn’t kickass yet, I’m sorry girlboss enjoyers, she ain’t a fighter yet, but she’s real strong and has the urge to kill to defend this kitty. So she wins, but just barely.

She also manages to avoid destroying her house in the process. So good for her. If the house was beaten up when her parents got home they would’ve had a fit.

Anyways the episode ends with her relooking all the doors and windows to her house and wondering what she got herself into with this cat. But the cat is cute so she doesn’t care. Also yes it is her cat from enstars. I love her cat so much.

That’s what I have for a possible episode one for this. I’ve got more ideas but I don’t have time rn. I’ll be back. My Izumi ideas are going crazy rn tbh. I’m gonna have a lot of fun implementing him lmao.

Hey! Thank you so much for asking, and sorry this took me so long.

1. Do you prefer writing one-shots or multi-chaptered fics?

This is a good question. I do enjoy both but I tend to gravitate towards one-shots purely because I'm not a particularly fast writer and I find it much easier to write fics that are around the 5K words mark.

Also I don't think my stories have a great deal of structure and I don't tend to do much plotting most of the time, which I think is something that you need to do with longer fics.

When I do hit on an idea though and manage to work out an end point, that's when I can really get into writing longer fics. A couple of my WIPs at the moment are multi-chaptered and I'm loving working on those.

I think as well, I worry that I won't be able to finish multi-chaptered fics, like I'll eventually lose interest. Which is why I don't generally post fics until they're complete. Although the James/Max I posted the first chapter of this weekend will definitely be finished, even if no one is interested lol.

11. Link your three favorite fics right now

This is hard as there are a lot of great fics out there but I'm lazy and don't go into the ao3 tags very often, instead I rely on recs from friends and I'm also guilty of rereading a lot of my old faves multiple times.

16. How many fic ideas are you nurturing right now? Share one of them?

At the moment there's just a couple. Tbh there's not a lot of pairings I'm very enthusiastic about atm. There are pairings I enjoy reading if the writing is good but that I wouldn't write myself.

I've probably written Max/James to death this year and as there won't be any new interactions between them going forward I think that will fizzle out for me soon. I would dearly love to be into an F1 pairing enough to write it but there isn't one that I'm into enough or would feel confident enough to write. I enjoy writing Max G because he's so private and that provides a lot of scope for character building because you only have the basics to work from.

I'm rambling so much lol sorry. Anyway, back to the question. At the moment there's a James/André fic I'm working on set in 2033 where André gets divorced, has a breakdown, goes to therapy and realises he's been in love with James for years while they do a classic car rally in Italy.

Also the concluding part in my Max/James series, where they split up and then work through some shit. And that's about it really. I mean, there's also a lot of random bits and pieces that I've abandoned.

22. Are there certain types of writing you won’t do? (style, pov, genre, tropes, etc)

I wouldn't say there's anything I'm dead set against writing, but ones that spring to mind that just don't interest me are a/b/o dynamics, high school AUs, fics with many multiple pairings. Actually mpreg is a very big no. Anything involving pregnancy majorly squicks me, regardless of gender.

I'm crap at writing anything technical about actual racing either. I tend to swerve that and concentrate on shippy stuff.

Also I generally don't have a lot of interest in writing established relationships. What I really love is the getting together, the figuring each other out and working through the obstacles. Once those things have been resolved and it's all plain sailing then it's mission accomplished for me from a writing point of view. Unless we're talking horny one-shots/PWPs and then how long they've been together is often inconsequential.

23. Best writing advice for other writers?

Don't get too tied up in worrying about how whatever you're writing is going to be received. Also, I find what is a huge help with motivation and confidence is having someone you can bounce ideas off and go to for advice if you're not sure if a certain scene/idea is working. Shoutout to @zeraparker, and @verycoolwearsleather for this.

Andre leans back against the sink vanity, marble cool beneath his palms. For a moment he’s half jealous, but more curious; him and James never talk about relationships though, unless you count the excruciating attempts the other night to discuss Ania. James is a catch, the type of guy Andre would have expected to be married with a kid by now, yet instead he’s here in Gordes with Andre, dressed like some new romantic popstar in leather pants and pale silk shirt. He gets away with it in a way that Andre isn’t sure he himself does. Surely there's someone.

They don’t talk to each other about that sort of thing, not in a serious way.

“Just wondering who's bed you’re going to end up in at the end of the night.” He gestures to James’ outfit. “This suits you mate.”

James smiles but there’s something in his expression that Andre can’t read, there then gone.

Hi!! I'm Bvnny, I’m excited to do this exchange with you. I’m fem-presenting but I consider myself nonbinary. I don’t perceive myself as really having a gender and i don’t feel feminine or masculine, however, i like to do more feminine presenting things. I use she/her and they/them pronouns. I’d like a romantic matchup and I’m bisexual but tbh I don’t see myself with thirteen lol so that kind of cuts out the only girl. I’ve got warm black hair that goes down just past my chin. Its a medium bob with some curtain bangs. I’m 5’2 and about 100 lbs so I'm pretty small (shelves are a bitch). I’ve got light brown eyes with a weird dark greenish brown ring around it. I’m biracial (whispanic lesgooo) so I’m not super tan but I’m not a ghost either. I’m a comfortable light olive and I can tan more with sunlight (ew) I’ve got enough freckles that you notice if you're right in front of me but not so many that it takes over my whole face. I’m normally in my converse or my work boots (which are always shined to be perfect thank u <3) I’m definitely a rectangle and I’m fairly thin. I’ve got hardly any ass and minimal boob-age. I’ve got p good thighs tho so that's nice. However, I've got the “ideal” body type for the stereotypical y2k outfits!!!! That's the majority of my closet- I wear lots of flare jeans, halter tops, and honestly if you look up 2000s I've probably worn half the outfits there. Brown is the best color for me, but I wear lots of yellow (my fave!!). Another huge part of my style is influenced by chicano culture since that’s what I was raised in and around. I have loads of FB County Charlie Brown crop tops in about 8 different colors. My dream is for the charlie brown halter tops, but for now I’ll live with just my flannel halter. I really just love dressing up for anything- no such thing as overdressed in my book. I like spending hours on my makeup and I refuse to leave the house without my eyeliner and eyeshadow being perfect. I put a lot of effort into my appearance- skincare twice a day, making sure my makeup is perfect, making sure my outfit is on point, etc., etc.. If I don't feel like it’s my best, I probably won’t wear it. It’s either a nice and easy 5 minutes or it takes me an hour. Between us, I’ve been late to school because of my makeup on more than one occasion (and it’ll happen again).

I’ve also got ADHD and a weird anxiety disorder (mentions of anxious thoughts and compulsions) I go into at the end. it’s the last paragraph of this section if you want to skip it!!

Those basically boil it down to everything you need to know, but i’ll go in depth! I’m the oldest of 5 siblings. My sister A is about to turn 16, my sister B is 14, my brother C is 13, and my youngest (and favorite i’ve got no shame about it) is D and she’s 7. Honestly being their big sister is my only personality trait- D is all I talk about. She’s literally always with me too. I’m at all of her school events, she hangs out in my room (even when I’m not there), she’s going with me to grocery stores and if I get free time I’ll play video games with her like minecraft, among us, and maybe roblox (strong maybe, i have to be in a real good mood it makes me car sick ;-;)

My learning disability can make me forget things and seem fairly spacey. Right now it’s for sure ADHD, and my therapist is leaning towards autism as well but we’re avoiding an official diagnosis bc it will limit me in the career I want to enter. I cannot sit still for the life of me- I’m convinced if i do i’m gonna die. Normally i’m pretty good about masking with minimal energy- one of my special interests has always been psychology. i’ll mirror people for fun sometimes, but then i end up accidentally picking up habits. but, at the end of the day, i’m still a big neurodivergent mess. my biggest stims are chewing (rubber, my lips and fingers (not hard!!!), and silicone), tippy taps, arm flapping, and spinning. I love headphone cords and lego tires, they’re my favorite and they’re just so comforting. bc if my chewing stim, i’m literally always snacking. people get concerned when i tell them i don’t have a lot of full meals but i literally ate 2 costco boxes of goldfish, about 3 packages of gerber star puffs for babies, and still had lasagna for dinner. i eat a lot- just not all at once. this also can cause me to start stress eating. Its hard for me to be hyper aware at the end of the day too. My jobs require me to be watching everything, but at the end of it, i just want to watch my LEDS change colors.

As much as I love my siblings, they are also the reason you can see a couple gray hairs starting to grow. They are the biggest trigger for my compulsions- especially D. If something isn’t perfect, and my youngest sister is around, I get unreasonably stressed out. I always joke that I can never sleep when she’s in my room because I’m worried the Kool-Aid man will bust through the wall and I'll sleep through it. However, there is some weight to that. If (and tbh when) my sister falls asleep in my bed, I’m up doing anything to keep me busy because for whatever reason it just doesn’t feel safe to sleep. This stems for the kids I work with as well. My co-workers make jokes about me being a perfectionist but it feels like if something is out of place bad things will happen. We love anxiety, real hot girl shit.

Small things I’ll do is constantly re-organize things. I’m constantly fidgeting with stuff and putting things back into “place” (where I decided they have to go for the rest of time). I do the same with our silverware. I’ll make sure all of our plates are in a rainbow. I have to do certain things in the exact same order every time. I’m VERY particular about how stuff in my room is- the quickest way to stress me out is to touch my stuff, move it around, or mess with my routine. Depending on how I’m feeling, that might literally make me have a breakdown. But being able to expect things every single time or fix things and make it right just calms me and makes me feel in control of something small, and even that can boost my mood and confidence a bit.

I work 3 jobs right now- law enforcement, I co-teach in a special occupational pre-school for high school students, and I baby sit at least twice a week. I have been pursuing a childcare career for 5 years, however, right now I’m piloting an state-wide high school internship program for local law enforcement departments. It was a pain to try and get started- I get to take the trial run since i’m 18 and a senior with a lot of law club training. I got voted as president of our high school’s law enforcement club as a joke my sophomore year and I just… keep… getting… re… elected. It’s not bad- I actually switched from thinking about teaching because of it and now I’m considering juvenile probation and teaching as a retirement job. I’m still debating- teaching is very important to me.

Because I’ve had a lot of work in childcare and shitty retail jobs, i’ve got an ungodly amount of patience. I have a scar on my leg from where a kid threw a table at me- he was still my favorite at the end of my program tho. It takes a lot for me to not like someone. I’m an upbeat person who is always eager to help and lend a hand. There’s an old lady trying to load something big into her car? Bam, Bvnny to the rescue. Need a door opened? Bam, door held. A lot of this stems from being the oldest of 5 tbh- I not only want to be someone my siblings can look up to, but I also want to be someone who can be as awesome as their parents. Admittedly, it gets really difficult when my siblings are all so different, my parents are grade-A overachievers, and I've got a bingo game going with potential learning disabilities. But I always push myself anyways- usually too far and burn myself out but it’s cool (this is a cry for help /j)

Because of how much I push myself to be better, I see a lot of improvement over time. However this also can make me a smidgen (a big smidgen lmaooo) bit defensive over how I present myself. Like, I’ve been ugly. I’ve been teased. I’ve been bullied. But I’ve worked my ass off to fix those things, and I work my ass off to maintain those things. I just put a lot of effort into how I carry myself and having it insulted is like damn I worked so hard for what???? Like if you call me ugly its like ugh but honestly I don’t care if I don’t know you. The one thing that will ALWAYS piss me off is when people try to discount my intelligence. Like I said before, I’ve been the ugly kid. I’ve been a weird kid. I’ve been the kid that gets bullied for stuff I can’t control. HOWEVER, the one thing I’ve always had going for me was that I’m smart. I was always the one helping with homework and it saved my ass more than once. I’ll take constructive criticisms, but not asshole criticism. It’ll hurt my pride </3

On a serious note, If I were to connect to any of the seven sins, it would 100% be Lucifer’s. I wouldn’t say i’m lucifer-levels of pride, but like it’s def there. I take pride in my siblings, my appearance, my job, etc., etc. I’m proud, but I feel like I’ve earned it with how hard I’ve worked to get here and how fucking cool my siblings turned out (that also might just be my ego talking, who knows?) Like A and B are so beyond beautiful and super popular. They're awesome at sports and are amazing with people. C is 6’2 and 270lbs of muscle (he’s 13 need i remind you ;-;) but he’s gentle and he gives the best hugs and he can fix literally anything. We also go on brother-sister dates to panda express after he wins a football game (he’s had a perfect season and my wallet hurts). D is so good at art and she’s beautifully kind. She can communicate better than adults do. Like if someone is bothering her she can set her boundary and stick with it. She is super empathetic and loves animals and wants to be a dog groomer when she grows up. She’s unironically funnier than all of us and with the amount of sass that leaves her mouth it’s obvious she’s got 4 big siblings (it’s never disrespectful tho, that’s the best part).They are all going to do wonderful things and I’m so excited to see it. I will also do anything, and I mean anything, to guarantee they get to do those great things they dream about.

For a partner, I seriously need someone who can understand that I have no freetime. At all. Ever. I hardly ever leave the house, and if I do it’s literally to go shopping. For 18 i feel so lame lol. Chances are my partner is going to be one of my 3 friends. Despite not even being out of high school yet (2 more months thank god) I need something more domestic and less teenage romance. Like getting home from work and relaxing with our 4 dogs (forgot to mention I have 4 big dogs whoops). I need someone who is decent enough with kids to get along with my siblings. It’s also super important that I can have conversations with them- and they want to have them too. Not like “Hi honey how was your day?” “good” “What did you do?” “work.” I want them to want to talk too. I want to know everything about my partner. Would you love me if i was a worm? Would you love me if YOU were a worm? What if we were both worms? I want to have stupid conversations like that but I would also kill to talk about psychological theories and child development and have not-stupid conversations. I want someone intelligent enough to talk to me and make me want to learn, but also willing to indulge in my stupid theoretical conversations. They’ve also gotta understand my siblings will literally always come first. It could be our wedding day and if my sister calls me and says she needs me i’ll be out of there so fast you wouldn’t even have time to process. Family is super important to me, and eventually I want my very own little family that will be just as important, if not more so.

My top 3 love languages are quality time, physical touch, and acts of service. I’d say quality time and physical touch are the ones I want the most, but acts of service are the ones I appreciate the most if that makes any sense.

Quality Time- I'm huge on napping together and just parallel play (doing different activities but together). I love napping together because I literally always need one, but I'm more than content to just cuddle while I play my games on my phone and my partner does whatever they’re doing. Hell, we don’t even have to cuddle (I'd like it if we did). We can just sit in the same room and enjoy each other's presence. My quality time also extends to my family- the chances of my youngest sister being with me is pretty much 100%. She’s my thunder buddy- if she doesn't want to hang out with you neither do I. Most of the time if she’s with me she’s drawing or playing games on her own and is just hanging out with me in my room or in the car. If I have time Ill play games with her so if you aren’t down to spend some time with her then out the door with you. Realistically, if I were to go down to the devildom, she’d end up coming with me in some freak magic accident. And I’d make it so she can stay- when I said I’d do anything for them I was NOT kidding.

Physical Touch- I know I said we don't have to cuddle but like if we can I’m over the moon. I love getting to feel my partner. I'm okay with linking pinkies when we do stuff or touching knees when we sit. As long as I can feel my partner next to me I'm over the moon! I love hugs, I love kisses, I love playing with people's hair, I love getting my hair played with. I’m always giving my youngest sister little scratches on the head or smoothing her hair down or straightening her clothes. I’ll give her hugs before I leave and she always falls asleep cuddling with me. I never say no when my brother wants to give me hugs (which is all the time, bless his heart) and even when he picks me up off the ground I’m still okay with it. My middle sisters are NOT as fond of me touching them so I try to avoid it- B will literally swat my hand away if I’m even remotely close to her. But I’ll do small things like tucking in their shirt tags or fixing their hair. Does this fall into acts of service? Kind of, but it’s the only contact I get with them let me have it ;-;

Acts of Service- I have so much I need to get done. All the time. Every day. And there are tons of things I struggle with doing even when I’m not trying to get 80 other tasks done. Like laundry- laundry always ends up being the last of my list. Without fail. Cleaning in general just hardly ever happens.I pretty much live in my car with how often I’m driving and it definitely shows. If I find time to clean my spaces, chances are it’s at the very end of my day when I’m tired and honestly I end up putting it off for extra hours of much needed sleep. It’s not that I want my partner to do all the cleaning- honestly I’m so particular I’d rather do it myself- but if they did something like laundry or they made food for tomorrow or just something small it means the world. However this also goes both ways. I love doing stuff for other people. I love getting to make my partner meals or help with a project or carry something for them. It just makes my heart happy to relax with my loved ones. <3

In all honesty, it was fun, and for some time I was stuck between Mammon and Simeon, but Simeon won at the end, as you can see lol.

Simeon adores everything about you, from your freckles to your outfits. How can he not? You are mesmerizing in his eyes. He feels extremely happy that you take care of how you look, not because of what others think or say, but because you feel like it, because you want to. He wouldn't mind if the two of you got late for RAD because you wanted your makeup to be perfect. Simeon likes how the two of you you could be discussing whether you would love the other person if they were a worm, and afterwards, about a documentary you watched. Many of your discussions give him ideas for his books. You are, quite literally, his muse.

Simeon doesn't like seeing you burn yourself out. He loves you, and knows just how beautiful and amazing you are inside and out. Your tendency to push yourself too far brings out his protectiveness, and he can and will mother hen you into taking care of yourself before anything else. I answered for myself all the ship questions here. It's better to read the previous Ruggiol post to get more context, but this can also be read on its own~

PRE-RELATIONSHIP

How did they first meet?

They met during their first year at NRC. Oriol pranked him a few times (like he often does) and Ruggie was always chill about it, laughing a bit and demanding that after being used for his amusement, Oriol should repay him helping him with the errand/chore he was in the middle of doing. Oriol found it to be a fun take on it and so helped him each time. After a while, they became friends and started hanging out regularly.

What was their first impression of each other?

Oriol found him kinda fun and interesting, for how chill he was about most things. He did think he could work a bit on keeping his appearance neater (not in a “you’re dirty” way, but in a “you have no style!” way hahah)

Ruggie thought at first that Oriol would be one of those stuck up Pomefiore students that only cared about their appearance. But well, he really was really pretty. And quite a troublemaker.

Did any of their friends or family want them to get together?

Who felt romantic feelings first?

Ruggie did. It was a slow thing and he just suddenly realized one day.

Did either of them try to resist their feelings?

Not really. Oriol acted almost immediately after noticing them. And Ruggie did not act on them for a loooong time, but didn’t repress his feelings. Just let them be a “content warm feeling” when he was with Oriol or saw him happy.

If you had told one of them that the other would be their soulmate, what would they think?

Ruggie would say “That would be nice, wouldn’t it?” but he would not really believe it was possible.

Oriol would consider it for a bit and say something like “Well, why not? We do get along great already~” but also take it as a joke or an “what if” scenario.

What would their lives be like if they had never met?

Oriol would’ve moved on with life looking for love anyway. Probably would’ve ended up with someone who can deal with him way less than Ruggie. So, lots more arguments and difficulty in relationships because of that.

Aside from that, in general, their regular lives aside from their relationship wouldn’t deviate too much from their one together. Oriol probably would still be livin back in his hometown though, instead of going to live in the Savanna with Ruggie.

GENERAL

Who initiated the relationship, and how did it go?

To be fair, Ruggie is the one who asks if Oriol wants to be his boyfriend, but because Oriol had been making obvious advances and had confessed his love to him just before that. So a bit of both.

Did they have an official first date? If so, what was it like?

After they started going out together, the first time Ruggie asked Oriol to eat lunch at the cafeteria together, Oriol went “Sure! It’s a date then ;)” and put his charm at max even when they were just eating at the school cafeteria like they always did.

He complained a bit after they were done, about how “it wasn’t too much of a romantic first date” pouting, to which Ruggie answered that it wasn’t supposed to be.

So Ruggie actually asked him for a date that weekend and brought him to the woods with some food he made, so they could have a small picnic together. Oriol was more than happy about that one and from then on says it’s their actual first date if he talks about it.

What was their first kiss like?

When Oriol was in one of his jealousy upset moods and saying how Ruggie “didn’t actually love him!!” Ruggie just gave him a kiss telling him “I won’t do this with anyone else, just you because I love you”. Oriol was overjoyed and placated and didn’t question his love again.

Were they each other’s first anything (kiss, relationship, etc.)?

For Oriol no, except for an actual “serious relationship”. He was the one with the most experience, having been in quite a lot of relationships before. But neither of those lasted more than 2 weeks at most.

Ruggie had had some experience before, but not much, and nothing in the “intimate” department, so that was new for him.

What’s their height difference? Age difference?

They’re 14cm apart. And they’re the same age (technically, but I have no idea how fae age works so afklahsf)

What’s their relationship with each other’s families? Do they share a friend group?

-I’ll answer this one for real in the future but I Iike the idea of Oriol finding Ruggie’s grandma amazing and bonding with her~-

Who takes the lead in social situations?

Oriol does. He’s an attention seeker after all. But neither of them is bad at socializing.

Who gets jealous easier?

Oriol 100%. He gets jealous way too easily. With lots of reassurance from Ruggie he gets a bit better at it, but still needs a lot of his attention after Ruggie spends too much time with other people.

Who whispers inappropriate things in the other’s ear?

Oriol most of the time, but Ruggie answers back more often than not. But Ruggie also does it first quite often. They’re a PDA inappropriate menace often. Ruggie makes sure no one hears though, he’s the responsible one of the two.

LOVE

Who said “I love you” first?

Oriol did, when he confessed his feelings for Ruggie. They often say it to each other, Oriol more of the two but he loves hearing it back, so Ruggie says it a lot when they’re alone too (hearing it from Ruggie placates Oriol fast and makes him mushy).

What are their primary love languages?

Oriol is just… all of them. He’s clingy, affectionate and needy in all ways. But if I have to say one, then physical touch the most.

With Ruggie is mostly acts of service and physical touch. He might complain sometimes, but he’d do pretty much anything Oriol asks him (within reason, but Oriol often just asks for his attention and love, and he’d gladly do that).

Who uses cheesy pick-up lines?

Oriol. All the time. For no reason at all, just because he can. Ruggie usually just shakes his head with an amused chuckle and ignores him. But in the rare instances that he does make Ruggie blush, Oriol is extremely happy.

How often do they cuddle/engage in PDA?

All the time. Especially when they’re relaxing or moving from one place to another (Oriol would be clinging to him as they walk and giving him love). Oriol doesn’t care who’s watching, but Ruggie will stop him if he gets too intimate in public.

Oriol loves cuddles and he’ll initiate them as much as he can (even if they’re both each doing their own thing, Oriol likes to be wrapped around him).

Mostly Oriol starts any of this, PDA or cuddling, but Ruggie goes with it gladly. He doesn’t initiate often because Oriol is just faster at it usually.

Although, even with all this, there’s some serious moments where either of them is doing something important and even if they’re together, they will stop the PDA so they can focus. They are aware at least this much lmao.

Who initiates kisses?

As with the last point, Oriol does. Is one of the moments where he gets all of Ruggie’s attention to himself and he loves that. He gets carried away easily when they kiss, so he’s only allowed quick pecks if they’re outside/with other people.

Who’s the big and little spoon?

Ruggie is the big spoon and Oriol the little spoon. But most of the time they just hold each other since they prefer that.

What are their favorite things to do together?

Aside from helping each other with their work/projects, they also enjoy walking around the woods/nature together, going shopping (Oriol drags him to this), pulling pranks together and having pointless unrealistic debates about impossible situations for fun.

But 90% of the time is just showering each other in love no matter what they’re doing.

Who’s better at comforting the other?

Ruggie by far. Little by little he gets better at reading Oriol’s moods and making him feel better when he’s upset.

Who’s more protective?

Oriol is the more protective of the two. Ruggie can get himself in shady situations sometimes and even though he has it under control, Oriol gets worried easily. Oriol would also destroy anyone who harms his love (he’s tiny but his magic is really strong and he can get scary if he’s furious).

Do they prefer verbal or physical affection?

They prefer physical affection way more. Although Oriol is overjoyed with both, but for Ruggie it’s just easier to express himself with physical affection.

What are some songs that apply to their relationship, in-universe or otherwise?

What kind of nicknames do they call each other?

Since I kinda made a connection between Oriol and Lum recently, I’ll say she uses the same pet names. Mostly “darling” but also “my treasure” and “beloved”.

Ruggie doesn’t use any nicknames, but sometimes just calls him “Ori”.

Who remembers the little things?

They both do, but Ruggie remembers more of them.

DOMESTIC LIFE

If they get married, who proposes?

Ruggie does. He doesn’t care about marriage much and would be happy just being together without the need for it (also, ceremonies are a waste of money). But he knows Oriol would be extremely happy if they do, so he ends up proposing when they’re in a stable situation after they’re both done with their studies and have been living together for a while. Nothing fancy, though. Just asking him during one of the days off while they’re at home.

What’s the wedding like? Who attends?

It's modest. Oriol wanted the biggest ceremony ever and to be the most beautiful he’s ever been in his life for that day, but they don’t have that much money. Ruggie was firm about that, they needed to make it affordable. Oriol still looked the most beautiful he’d ever been, though (or at least Ruggie thought so and that was more than enough for him). They just invited close family and friends, though. Not that big of a celebration.

How many kids do they have, if any? What are they like?

I haven’t decided this for sure yet. But I’d say none or one at most (maybe twins if I’m feeling self indulgent when I finally decide).

But Ruggie would tell Oriol he has enough with being by his side and caring for all the kids in the slums. And he expected Oriol to then get pouty and fussy and insist on it. But Oriol was understanding and just said “we’ll treat them all as our children so we’ll have hundreds of them! <3” and Ruggie felt quite moved about it.

In case they do end up having kids, it would be after this conversation has happened, and after some time Ruggie reconsiders and asks if they maybe should have one. Just one kid “Because a kid of ours would look absolutely adorable for sure, especially if it looks like you.” and maybe because he wanted to see them create something together out of their love, but he didn’t say that more than once. Oriol agreed, more than happy to comply.

I haven’t thought of how they would be yet, though.

Do they have any pets?

No.

Who’s the stricter parent?

Ruggie is. Mostly is the one in charge of the scoldings and making sure that things get done. Oriol is more of the “What did dad say??” if they come to beg him for something. And he will not go against what Ruggie has specified beforehand. But if they ask Oriol first before Ruggie has had time to say anything about the matter? Well, then maybe Oriol will spoil the child a bit too much then~

Who worries the most?

Ruggie as well, he takes care of so much around their house, finances, the future, etc. He may act carefree outwardly but makes sure he has a plan for anything.

Oriol won’t usually worry because he knows that Ruggie takes care of the daily things and everything will go ok in that regard.

Who kills the bugs in the house?

Ruggie does, if he finds some in a really bad location. Oriol, contrary to what one might think, actually never kills them nor is scared of them. He gently takes them outside if needed (he’s used to living in the forest and being around lots of bugs and animals, so he’s always gentle with them).

How do they celebrate holidays?

On important holidays they’d go visiting their families. But if it’s a more casual holiday, they’ll probably rest at home, since they’re both usually really tired from so much work all the time.

Who’s more likely to convince the other to come back to sleep in the morning?

They’re both quite early risers, so usually they wake up together. But either of them will probably lure the other back to sleep if it’s a rest day for both of them.

Who’s the better cook?

Ruggie for sure. Oriol is ok at cooking, but Ruggie is more used to it and less lazy about it, so it’s often him who cooks.

Who likes to dance?

Oriol dances sometimes. If he’s in a happy mood or a good song starts playing. He’s not amazing at it, but you can tell he enjoys it whenever he does. Ruggie does not often join him, content to watch Oriol all happily dancing. But sometimes he gets dragged along or Oriol notices him staring and starts to “seduce him” with his dance moves.

Just a warning, this post is just a rant/vent with about 0 organization, and may also have some mild, vague spoilers.

Watched Heartstopper season 2 with a friend last night, and I think this time that show really hit me hard and made me feel super single with my aromanticism, even with Issac there. I really enjoyed spending time with my friend, but I got sad because my thoughts were going “This isn’t forevee, you’ll be back to being alone soon.” Watching issac feel awkward amongst his own friend group felt so relatable, anf I resonated with that hard.

I feel like my aromanticism is just something I’m constantly going up and down with how I feel about it. I’ll feel great about it for a bit, then i wont feel hood about it at all for a while, which is getting tiring to experience. I often try to attach queerplatonic/platonic meaning to romantic songs, and i tried to do that with the song that played in the final scene where Charlie talks about the bullying he experienced and what it was like. But i couldn’t do it. There’s not even anyone I’ve met that i’d wanna be in a queerplatonic relationship with, aside from a few where i knew there was no chance. I just felt so lonely so I couldn’t even listen to it.

One thing that doesn’t help me is I feel so touch starved yet I’m also often touch-averse, likely due to the former. It took me nearly a.year with my current friends who I met last year to even do hugs, and I doubt it’ll ever go beyond that because i feel like people never show their friends that much physical affection. Especially since, even if i am non binary, i still look like a cis man right now. And I know a lot of people would find like doing any physical affection with me because of that probably, and I’m touch averse so what does it matter anyways lol. It’s just a torturous limbo lol.

My friend was saying how the show made them want to reinstall dating apps, and meanwhile after the show I had to tune my thoughts out with TikTok and listening to other music to avoid my thoughts.

Another thing that hurts is(this is some long context that i need to add) is that after high school ended, i really didnt get to keep in contact with a lot of my friends(Ik that’s common but bear with me). I’d watch some of them thriving and finding friends despite it being 2020 fall semester where covid was still in its full swing in terms of impact on uni, and meanwhile I was alone. I was severely depressed, and lonely. Because no one i met in my courses with other engineering majors clicked with me(the classes were pre reqs for me as a computer science major). So then I got more lonely, and sophomore year was a repeat.

Final week of school that 2nd year i even decided i couldn’t take talking to even my online friends community aside from 2-3 close friends there. Then junior year happens, and i met my current friends. And of course i love them and everything. But i also have this voice in my head saying that the repeat will happen post graduation. We’ll all go to different places, and then they’ll talk to me less and less, and eventually I’ll just feel lonely and isolated again, and be back to thinking some very dark thoughts. And it’s terrifying. And i guess watching heartstopper s2 reminded me of all that, even tho i absolutely adored it still. All i could think in the back of my head was “you will never experience affectionate touch like this. You will never be able to be in a romantic relationship,’or a queerplatonic one. You’ll be lonely and your friends won’t always be there with you.”

So yeah, here I am, back to feeling shitty about being aromantic and hating it. Because instead of feeling the yearning, crushing, and relationships like others. Instead of feeling physical affection like others. Instead of being able to see a future with a partner. All im experiencing right now is bitterness at my lot in life and how i feel like all my friends will slowly leave me, and i won’t be able to make new ones because I suck at doing that as shown by the 2 years before meeting my current ones. And that just makes me feel depressed. I honestly feel kinda broken and hopeless. Aro and thus a lot of relationship options are cutoff from me, cant find people I’d want to enter a queerplatonic relationship with, AND have trouble with making friends. It just feels like I’m destined to be lonely, and ik it isnt supposed to be a factor in that, but it does feel like being aromantic plays a role in this whole mess for me rn. And i hate that.
